[Resolved]  Vodafone — Cheated services

I m uday singh rawat ([protected]) a vodafone customer want to bring some attention over vodafone cheated services to the customer.They did following cheating:
1) By recharging of addon card of Rs 20 for local 100 vodafone to vodafone night mins....they without any notification converted my previously aquired 800 vodafone to vodafone day mins to night.Hence loss of valuable 800 day mins.They gave the reason that it is stated in terms and condition which they never inform to me.They said u have to ask to retailer about this condition and we cannot do anything.

2) They send many services messages in which by simly opening them u automatically get subscribed without any information.Eg.They send me message for india pak series updates via service message,where i just open it and my 100 Rs get deducted.I talked to customer care and they said " sir its ur problem u clicked a link and you just message dct ckt to reply then ur cricket update service will blocked and u will get ur balance back.I did the same as said but my balance not given back,so i called back to customer care and they replied " U got the wrong information we r sorry for this but we cannot do anything " hence my valuable 100 Rs lost with no cricket update its a clear case of cheating..

So to whom it may concern i requested that please do something in it otherwise everyone will be cheated like this.

so its really requested that concern person please take some action and give me some kind of reimbursement either by wealth or action over this company.

i'm sanjay([protected]) few month ago i gotta call frm hutch compny,a lady said 'sir we have a attracted postpay plan for u n she told me abt plan, after long disscution i accepted her day she send his exe.,then he cut the bill n he taken 250 rs from me n give me a blanck sim n said sir it will mb actvate in 24 hours but sim card not activate..i've made sevral complains but all in vain i've got no response,every time hutch exe. made sevral excuses n aplogises n it take 3 months n half months. at last hutch exe. said sir u have 2 pay another 250 rs n i give u new sim n refund ur privious payment in 20 days he also said u have no option ,except this i can't help u . i have no choice n i gave him another 250 rs.this number activate in 24 hours,but i still did'nt get the money back ,i have a orignal bill which indicates hutch logo,bill date 22/06/2007...................pls help me
Unless you are careful, you can get pulled into the subscriptions. You have to be smart and not click or send activation messages without understanding the message. Unfortunately, because of the stupidity and softness of some of the customers, companies get away with daylight robbery. You get what you deserve.

Just now i re-charged my mobile through citi bank online ....foro 350 rupees and i got only 186/- credited in my account..what is this so less....that 350 was top-up .....i just got half ..amount credited ...reply me soon

Vodafone — Vodafone is repeatedly cheating people and government is taking no action

This company is a real fraud. In the last six months they have tried to cheat me of my money several times.

1. I had asked them to put my number in "Safe Custody" scheme for 3 months (because I had to leave for the US), whereby I was supposed to pay them 99 Rs rental for temporary suspension of my number for 3 months but retaining the number so that I can reactivate the number after 3 months. But Vodafone thought it to be a right opportunity to cheat me and they promptly resumed my services after I left the country and started billing me. I monitor my account over the internet on a regular basis, so I caught their fraud in 2 days and e-mailed them. But they did not respond to my e-mails anymore. Only auto acknowledgements were received. I am going to lodge a case against the company for playing fraud with me, and will use all my e-mails and their auto acknowledgements as my evidences. Even the nodal officer and apellate officer are not replying to the e-mails sent out to them.

2. In addition to the above, some time back they tried to harrass me by activating caller tunes without any request. When I enquired about this their nonsense executives told me that there is no way they can enable caller tunes without request. Then the real trick. Because of an unwanted caller tune, the customer sends out a deactivation SMS for which they are charged 15 Rupees. Many persons tend to ignore this amount becasue they do not monitor their bills much. Maybe only 20 % of people monitor this. Rest don't. That means Vodafone manages to dupe lakhs of people of 15 rupees every month. Imagine the illegal profit they make out of customers hard-earned money. Request all of you to lodge public interest litigations in this regard. These foreign companies should not be allowed to come to India and cheat Indian public this way. They cannot do anything like this in USA or Europe, becuase that would cost them millions of dollars as fine. They can afford to do such corruption in India because of government support in the corruption activities. Please, for god sake, do not spare these corporate cheaters. Let us show them what Indian Law can do to them.
I was tried to activte call waiting and call conference in my mobile.. I had been talked to the cutomer care past 20 days and i also complainted to a vodafone shop in Gobichettipalayam. But no response from even a single side.. I tried with "*43#" option but its coming like "request not completed".. I tried from another mobile also.. what is this..? IS this is the way to satisfy the customer...????????

I got a call at 10.45 pm from a vodaphone number [protected] and the person who speaks tamil and english abused me and asked many vulgure questions. I was torchored mentally and felt hurt. Plz take necessary action against him. I don't want to go in Police. Plz Help me.

this is heart breaking story of my Rs 22250/- i bought a o2 phone on[protected] and the phone's mother board just cracked in 3 days after that i sumitted the phone in comapny's service center till now i have been only speaking to company's people they refuse to change the phone and top when i call them in 10 calls they pick up only one i have been treated by o2 like dogs this company is just selling there defected peice to consumer and no one can take action they know the phone will spoil in two or three days and they will repair it this how is scam going on in india now who will help consumers no one we are dead human being cheated by these companies no one is ready to help they even do not reply emails person i'am trying to contact is kriti sharma and Mrs Kapoor they are just cheating i know no body can help but guys do not buy o2 phones they are cheating
on 8th march 2008 i changed my plan frm pre paid to post paid on number [protected]. That my services on my respective number were activated on the very 8th of march. but today 14th march my services have been deactivated . my outgoing services have been deactivated without any reason. when i contacted the vodafone shop the assued me that within two hours my outgoing services would be activated but at 13:28 pm i recieved a message frm the vodafone service centre that ur registration no. is[protected],they would respond to the query on friday. without any reasoning my services have been withdrawn if neccessary action is not taken i have no alternative than to reach the consumer court
i am vodafone customer with out my notice my balance had gone minus and if i call the customer care that say that i have used GPRS
But i haven't used anything.
I am the user of Vodafone lifetime prepaid service since last 2 years and have the following comments:

1) When I checked my balance, i noticed that it was minus 29/- Rs. Upon visiting their RUDE & UNHELPFUL customer service desk, the reply was, I has activated caller tune (no proof was given). Finally I charged my mobile and the amount was deducted from me. After this, I was bit skeptical about putting additional credit in my account for the fear of loosing my credit to this big cheater called VODAFONE.
My million dollar question is: If the company can give me a debit of Rs. 29 for caller tunes, why can't they give me the same debit facility for making important calls when I have not credit lost.
In summary these people are worse than the extortionist goondas.

2) Recently, I received a message from them that I have not recharged my account for the last six months. A 3 days notice was given to me after which it was mentioned that they will discontinue my services. As per my understanding of LIFETIME connection, I ignored the message. Our esteemed VODAFONE kept their prompt commitment and my services were discontinued after 3 days. Same time I went and recharged my account with Rs. 100. Even then the services did not resume. I visited the same RUDE & UNHELPFUL customer service desk. Now I was told my services were discontinued because I did not submit ID documents as per government rule. When asked, why I did not receive any intimation for the same, again there was no response (Their customer unfriendly personnel were Mr. Varun, Ms. Namrata and Ms. Fatma. All from Vasai Road Vodafone store)

I just want to tell all the subscribers and the would be subscribers of VODAFONE that they be alert and decide on their future business with Vodafone.

I, Manisha, bearing no.[protected], activated Ghare Baire offer on 02.05.2008 as evidenced from the message received from company. On 08.05.08, again message came that this offer is deactivated for unknown reason. Although service is good, this type of case is not as per the goodwill of the company. This is for everybody's information specially for the company persons.
I told them severel times to deactive the CKT service. But they don't deactive the Vodafone CKT alert service. My balance is deducting every month. I am feeling helpless.

i taken one add-on no, before that i asked the vodafone employee regarding bills, he told for two numbers two bills will generate after confirmed this only i taken the add-on card, but bills are not generated separately, then i called customer care they told for add-on no bill will not generate separately. so what i am saying is company will do any mistake and they feel not their responsible and they will change rules on the fly with our intimating to customers. till now this is the worst service provider, worst response from customer care and giving the fault information in stores in the universe.
hai iam nixon mathew i was using vodafone number from past 4 years but unfortunately i was tranferred from bangalore to New delhi for official purpose because of 7 days delay in paying the previous balance they started to call me in my alternative number and started to threaten me so i request you all vodafone users to switch over to other mobile service available.
