After six months of disconnection of Mobile No. [protected], i received a threating call from Delhi Police Commisioner on the 3rd December afternoon, that he has an arrest warrant in my name and will come to arrest me at 6pm. He gave me the
number of an Advocate J.R. Mishra [protected]. he asked me to call him and try to settle the matter or else he will get the cops in front of my home in the evening. i was petrified and terrified and fainted at the very first thought of it.
When my colleagues in office called the advocate, he asked to pay an amount of 2510/- immidiately and send across a mail with the bill receipt to address [protected]@vodafone.com
i requested for a dissconnection of my number on the 2nd of June as i got a job in Bangalore and had to move from Delhi. My account also showed a bill plan change which i never requested for. they made me pay 2510/- against an outstanding of 2380/-(i got to know this when i went at Vodafone and checked my account)
I am 21years old and a Low BP patient, who is staying alone in Bangalore without family for the first time in my entire life. the kind of threatening that they gave me could taken life out of me. I in the past six months never received any reminder of any outstanding bill . because i cleared all the payments before getting the number dissconneted(they dont dissconnet without clearing the dues!!!) . my current number is [protected], i request you to take some action, as i am still not over the whole senario. you can understand how it must have been for a person who has never even seen a police station apart from in movies.

Vodafone — Late Dispatch of Bills.

I am customer of Vodafone since last six years, having Post Paid connection( No. [protected]). Since Vodafone tookover Hutch Indian operations the service standrad has fallen to the lowest possible level. Every month, Vodafone dispatches bill late and again instead of varifying with their Courier about recipt of Bill by customer, they keep on sending SMS (Which is costing if customer is out of Mumbai) informing, that their biil for Particular month has been dispatched, due on 15th of that particular month .Pls. pay before due date to avoid late fees.

This is rediclous by any standrad, and also day light roberry as Vodafone send bills late and want their customer to late fees for their inefficiency.

Vodafone — no bill being received for over a year for a postpaid connection

I am owner of a vodafone postpaid connection (earlier the Hutch) for over a year. My number is [protected], I have not recieved any bill, but for once only-that too on lodging a complaint with the customer care. then too the courier delivering the bill at my billing address just told me that he'll not be able to deliver bill in a village at a distance of 5 km from Faridabad and then afterwards I have not recieved any bill. I have been paying the dues only on recieving the sms for dues from the company earlier Hutch now Vodafone. How can I know about the details of my bill and how long I will have to suffer at the hands of such callous company.

hutch post paid — bill plan misktake by the company service person

Dear Concern,

i have applied for Hutch post paid service at vadodara few months ago, the service agent has commited mistake in the bill plan because of which I got a monthly bill of more than 2200 rs which actually could be below 900 rs according to the plan explained.

i discontinued the service after that incident , but still they gave me monthly bills for a period of 5 months or so dispite my complaints to the customer care.
I have paid total money as per the plan explained to me, now they have sent agents to collect money and followed by a notice from civil court (ref. no LEGAL/DEC/BRD/1559.)

Desein — prepaid to postpaid connection

Sir/madam,

I got a airtel prepaid conection on November 2,2007.Now,I want to convert it to a postpaid connection.When I talked to the customer care over phone,I was told it can be done after a month's time.So,yesterday I approached an airtel showroom in Delhi(Airtel ,pusa road)to get it converted.
The representative in the showoom completely ruled out th possibility and said that the existing prepaid connection must be atleast 8 months old!! I again reconfirmed it with the customer care over phone for atleast five times and again went to the showroom.The representative again, in a very rude manner sticked to his point and wasn't ready to agree with me.His approach was so rude and unprofessional that I'm afraid such representative's are a real shame for the group.
Can u people please tell me what has to be done??!

Vodafone — services of prepaid connection stopped

I have vodafore prepaid connection [protected] and services of this connection has been stopped twice during last 15 dyas and connection is not operational. Customer care 111 gives various reasons that are not confirmed and there is no official communication for suspension of services.

Vodafone — Threat call for payment of wrong bill.

I have been using (hutch) service for the last two years under the pre paid rent scheme. This Sept'07 the scheme was over but no one from the said comany contacted me for renewel or to offer new scheme. I coult not able to contact the company as their customer care number are not working. I got one message only that plan 150 has been activated on ur number. They sent me a bill for Rs 417 in which Rs 390 was charged towards rent for 2 months. Now i want to ask the company, how they can activate such plan without asking the customer. They r supposed to confirm the same. Now from the day i received the bill, i m regularly receiving calls for the payment. They r threatning me to pay the bill immediately. Vodafone — didn't get Postpaid Connection.

I am Meer Nasirudeen.I am using vodafone prepaid connection([protected]). I decided to migrate from perpaid to postpaid and I registered in the Vodafone store at Coimbatore for the same. Its almost 72 hours gone past since I registered for migration. Thrice I enquired for the same to them,but still I didn't got my postpaid connection activated.

I was searching something on Google and came across your complaint. It was pretty stupid of you to believe on such calls. Do you think Delhi Police Commissioner has time to call you for this petite matter. These Vodafone/Relaince/Idea/etc. people are creeps and hire illiterate gundas for making these types of calls. They don't have even this much sense how to treat with different classes of customers. I agree that there are many defaulters when comes to phone bill payments, but they must have at least this much sense that to whom they are dealing with. Rather than training their staff on handling customer requests on time and maintaining their software systems, these service providers have opted an easy way of recovery by making these types of calls. Moreover, this is illegal to hire gundas and to threaten someone like this. Again, it was highly stupid on your part to pay the bill that was never owed to you. Never give attention to these type of calls, specially when caller doesn't have any proof of what he/she is saying. Come on we are living in free and democratic nation and should know at least this much legalities. So, don't bother yourself further on this matter.

Vodafone — Chrging me for mobil connect service which is not active.

Dear Sir,
I am Yuvaraj Shanmugam, using your mobil connection. Whenever I get a bill it makes me to loose my temper. I donot have GPRS mobil connect service actived. But your are charging me for this for the last two months. My father has paid the last month bill including mobil connect charges and now I have got this month’s bill also with this charges. When this service was not required I had informed the Vodophone to deactivate it and it was done promptly. But you keep charging me for this. Please inform your staff to wake up know what is happing around. Your sevice since Vodophone has taken over is very poor.
I regret having paid for 2 years post paid subscription.

Vodafone — Harrasment calls

Hi, I am continuosly getting calls which are very harrasing and Abusive.
I do not know wht is the matter. i have been paying my bills on time
before due date. but then i am getting abusive calls . sometimes
they say they have launched the case against fraud. I really do not know
wht they are talking about as i have got no notice or document relavted to
that. kindly please advice as i have no information. in this scenario.
As this is very strange and new and i am unaware to legal matters.

Vodafone (India)/Talk plans — Misleading customers and incorrect information provided through Website even

The service plans changed making the fool of the customers. The change resulted in the high monthly bills. Even the site doesn't provide the right information of the plan since they have changed and shows the plan which are just misleading. I have the scren shot with me. I can provide if needed. I feel disregarded through this service provider and feel helpless. I have high hopes from u guys.

Sir,
I was your post paid connection customer. My Phone no. was [protected]. I have taken it from Sanjay Place, Agra.
For some official issues I have to discontinue your service so I withdrawl your connection in mid of January-08.
At that time I was told that my rest adjusted amount from security deposite amount will reach me within 45 days of discontinue date.
I did'nt receive any amount in that period. I again visited Sanjay Place, Agra vodafone care then they said to wait for one week more as it is in progress. I again visited there to Mr. Pramod after 10 days then he replied it will take 60 days so wait up to 6-7 april. Also he denied to register my complain and to provide me any official mail id and contact no.
But now its 11th April today and I have'nt received any amount till now.
Is it your servive? Thank god I have disconnected your this type of POOR service.
I only want to know will compney give me my final adjusted amount or not?
Pls give me final answer YES or NO

Vodafone Mobile Connection/Sim — After Disconnection 6 Months before Still Getting Bills & Notices

We have taken the Vodafone Postpaid Mobile Connections (No. [protected], [protected], [protected])From Roorkee, Vodafone Sim Franchisee (Gitanjali Communication, Haridwar Road) on 22/09/2007 as a corporate Connection (ie. Company Owned but paid by me). But I find that they are not providing good services at all. After no. of Complaints the service remains worst. So we have decided to surrender those no. On around 12th October, 2007 we have surrender those conncetions and give them the application to suspend the no.s & taken a received copy from them. They promise us that these no. is closed with in 24-48 hrs.

But those no. are not closed till today we are getting bills and notices from the vodafone. We are mentally Harresed totally.
Not Only that among those no.s one No(ie. [protected]) is issued to another person but billing address & identity is not changed. when we call to that person he tolds that he dont have the ID to submitt, so the franchisee put yours ID without changing billing address 7 Identity & I am rnjoying the uninterrupted service.

We have talk to all the concerned persons but no response from them, Instead of getting listen we get the threats from them to pay the bills.

we are mentally Harressed & in deep pain & lost the mental peace & presence after continous of delibrate harrasement!!

Seeking & In anticiaption of Quick & Strict action against them!!

I am using postpaid connection for which i never got the billing details i called several times to there core no. and customer care they assured me every time that this will not happen in future but still same practices by there side rest of things are fine but i am fed up of calling them and asking about my bill they assured me that they will forward my bills to my mail account but still i am waiting for that several times i thought to disconnect the number but its hard to do so because i am using it since one year and my all contact having the same number but surely i will switch over.

I have strong complaint with regardign some people who called up from vodafone legal team and talked like stupid people and literally harrasing the customer. I am not in town for last 3 months and have not been able to make regular payments. I had made part payments on the pending bill and you folks start chasing as if i am an absconder. Dont you people check the ARPU of the customer before talkign tough to the customer and reading customer profile. i have paid vodafone more then bloody 40K as my bills and have been loyal in making payments. Does not that loyalty stands as a proof that i will paying my rest of the bills as well. The person who called was so damn rude, he simply ruined entire image of vodafone in my eyes. I would never switch to vodafone and infact would get my entire family off the vodafone and shall try to convince same for my friends and family. I will never suggest vodafone to Anyone.
The employee no. of the guy who called me was 00104 as he told me and said he was vodafone employee. If vodafone employees such people. I am really sorry when you guys say Happy to help you.

Vodafone — Bills not recieved from last 4-5 Months

Dear Concern Person,

I am your Vodafone(Hutch) customer from 3 years. As per above subject I have not received my bills ([protected]) frome last 4-5 month. Many time I have make correspondence with your customer care executives but response received from oppsite side is that " Information about your bill amount is giving timely via telephonic coversation.".

Now tell me how can I check, is my bill actual or not.

So that please sent my bill from January 2008 to till.

Vodafone — Harrassment by not crediting the payments

I made my bill payment of Rs.1892 for my cell number [protected] on the 18th May 2008 at their gallery at Hypercity Mall, Mumbai. However, the payment was never credited on my account. I visited the outlet again on 24th May to be told that the same would be done by 8 pm. She took the copy of the chargeslip.
Still till 27th May, no credit was posted. Hence, I was forced to revisit the outlet. The guy said that I get a copy of my statement though I showed the chargeslip again. I called HSBC and they confirmed that the payment was taken by them on 20th May 2008. The credit was given on 27th May 2008. I told that not to charge as late fee as the error was from their end and I had made the payment much before the due date 22nd May 2008.
I was told to be rest assured. I was shocked to see my June statement showing Rs. 3379. I called the customer services to be told that as the amount was wrongly credited the same has been reversed and it is 2 months bill showing outstanding. I spoke with Jignesh (Manager, Vodafone) to be told that they are investigating and it would be getting back to me on this.
I had to revisit the outlet at Hypercity (Token 49) to be told that it was an error, and the same would be recitified by the Floor supervisor with some name as Dipti or Deepika. I fail to understand as to how could vodofone goo[censored]p to such an extend. I had to personally visit 5 times and am not sure if the issue would be resolved or not. I have also been charged a late fee and on the record shown as defaulted though I have been a regular payer of all my bills. I insist on an apology letter to be sent to me in 7 days else I will have to file a complaint with the Consumer Court and Dept of Telecommunications.

Eminent — Home tension

Sir/Madam, I was married for 2nd time after divorce with a divorcee lady. My parents were clashing for me 1st time(marriage lasted 2.5 years with my daughter and parents-in-laws dying in a car accident) and father put some mental fear by his aggressive actions and child like beating.

I'm afraid he encourages me to become physical with excuse of teaching me to become strong like katar laden sikhs. My wife is undergoing lot of stress and so are her parents and relatives. Hope you will send me email on my id mentioned above soon so that I may explain more.

Mobile Postpaid connection — due to anomalies in bill withdrawal of connection

My no. is [protected] I made this no. advance rental payment in feburary 2008 besides this you change my plan charges different rental payments without my concurrence, since I have been received my march bill I lodge so many complaints in your customer care but still company is sending wrong bills in contiunation.Lastly I fedup with your services so I stopped using your mobile connection no.[protected] .Yesterday I made all payments of my usages plus tax charges .

vodafone/postpaid connection — Disconnect every alternate day

I had taken a vodafone corporate connection 2 months back. Since then my no. is being disconnected every alternate day. The reason they give is that they are unable to complete my verification, though i had submitted all the documents they asked for. I had given my office address for verification and they say that it was conducted on the same address and the door was locked.That is not possible as the office is open 365 days a year. They have never called me for verification. Also they never send any message before disconnection.
I have visited the vodafone store many times since then to raise request for verification. I have also raised such request through customer care many times. But no action has been taken.
I have been suffering a lot due to the continuous disconnection.

Vodafone — Unwanted Plans and billing against that

As per their Company representatives details, I bought an add-on connection which is Talk200specialplan, which is having Rs. 200 monthly rental and 200 local calls free to any network. (Having Bill).

But while billing, the plan was "Talk175specialplan", which is having Rs. 175 monthly rental and around 120 local calls free. Also they billed one month rent extra although i paid Rs. 250 as refundable advance.

If we contact the customer service, they are not having any rights to say against any complaint and their supervisors are not ready to attend the customer calls.

When I change the number there was 750 outstanding . I have shifted my house so I didnt recieve any statments. After one year they called me for 1900/- unpaid bill. I told them that the bill was only 750 so I will pay only that amount, but they forced my to pay 1900/- . yesterday One advocate also called me and frightened me to pay the bill . I am newkt shifted to Delhi, bacically from Mumbai. Its been only 7 days in delhi and somebody called my parents & threatened them, He said that he will kill me.

First of all i am not making any kind of complaint overhere, but i am making genuine request for, y urgency/timely needfull help.

I received a call from Vodafone care from the [protected] from Priya Feroze Gandhi Market, Ludhiana who told that they want to give Add on connection to me, then they have send me one employee ( Rohit ) from Vodafone who has provided me the SIM Card & taken Rs 500/- from me as security & told that after 1or 2 day verification will be done & it has been done on phone, laterly after these 2 days, i got a call from Priya who told me that we can’t issue u the Add on connection as u r defaulter of our number [protected] for Rs 600/-, in the year 2006 which is running on my father’s name then I replied them that I can’t give u that money as no bill, no intimation call & no letter has been received at that time for bill they r asking about, then why should I pay u that money. When I asked them to return me that money they told that they will not give me my Rs 500/- as security given to them & asked me to give 1st ur pending bill.
My question is this that why they have taken Rs 500/- from me if they don’t want to issue my the number moreover it was not told before that they will not return money back to the customer if their would be any out standing money towards them for any number moreover I was not aware for the same as no body from Vodafone care has intimated me about it in addition to it why they have put my name in the defaulter list without intimating the customer about his pending money.

Vodafone — Bill is more than actual calls, and plan was not activated according to initial deal

Threatening is the Vodafone way – But we want conversion from Postpaid to Prepaid

(Harassment by Vodafone in converting post-paid to pre-paid connection)

Threatening is vodafone’s usual way if you approach them with a complaint or request. They will not hear what bad experience you have gone through with them. They will just look at the last bill according to them, and will retort that they are going to send eminent people to your house to get the bills collected whatsoever, and boast that you won’t be able to resist them as they are lot more mightier than you can even imagine!

We Indians need to prove them wrong.

As far as I know, vodafone is the only mobile service provider in India who doesn’t allow conversion from post-paid to pre-paid. Once you are in their trap of post paid, you either have to keep paying the rent Or just discontinue the service to escape their monkey fist, threatening and litigations.

Mine is a very old Vodafone postpaid number and I don’t want to loose that number as it is circulated to so many key people. But when the Vodafone call center guys called me up and threatened to send their eminent people to get the bills collected, I wanted to switch from post paid to pr-paid. That way, they will have their damn money and I don’t have to speak to their henchmen again. While the talks were on, they again threatened me and taken steps for initiating legal proceedings against me. General Manager – Legal ( Yunus H Ahamed) yunus.[protected]@vodafone.com & Senior Manager – Legal (Lokesh Mahalingappa ) lokesh.[protected]@vodafone.com have sent me legal notice after Lokesh Mahalingappa told that it is possible to get my same old number in pre-paid through a convoluted process. I walked into the Vodafone office at Indiranagar and they bluntly said it is absolutely not possible to have my same old number in pre-paid whatsoever. Multiple times I have expressed written willingness to talk to them rather than mails, and asked them their phone number, but they never bothered speak to me. Now they are going back on their promise and harassing me.

We need to expose this rotten and unethical tactics of Vodafone, for plundering money from the larger population in India. I will fight this out in all the legal forums in every possible way. It is a public need to have the facility to convert post paid to pre-paid especially in this bad economic conditions, and people still need to stay connected, when there is maximum number of job losses, to help them move on in their modest life.

We need to make sure that Vodafone don’t fool our people in India anymore. At a minimum rent of Rs.200/- per month, even if one make only one call, people in India are intelligent enough to multiply the amount with the number o[censored]nfortunate postpaid customers to calculate the amount Vodafone guys are looting so freely.

All other mobile service providers in our county have the facility to switch from post-paid to pre-paid and that too very easily within minutes. How can Vodafone – an alien - insist that a poor man in India should continue paying rent when he doesn’t have a job, or simply because he doesn’t want the facilities as it is too costly for the pocket/ affecting peace of mind due to the threats? An incoming number is the most needed one for a person who has lost job. Let them take the money from those who actually need the postpaid facility.

Mine was a sad case, actually i never used vodafone connection in my life time thank god i will never even, if their legal department is like this i can never ever imagine about the other team or departments in this company. I had a business partner who used to have the vodafone connection. he used to call to our company phone through that connection only. Actually that person deals wit so many other companies and executives he used to travel along so many places and its difficult to get to him even. One lady (she herself call Manju) was calling me from past so many months and talking to me in high languages and is harassing me.. The reason behind is "that guy haven’t paid his bills or some". The reason behind they are calling me is those folks found the number which my company gave me for official purpose in his out going list. I really cant understand this fact, how they can abuse another people for some of their customers with this harsh languages. If they them selves cant find their customer details, how can they expect us to find them? I cant change my phone or drop this connection just because that lady is not behaving properly. vodafone/postpaid connection — misscomitment and missbehaviour

i receieved a call from vodafone executive (mr.sunny)
abt converting the prepaid number into postpaid then they send their executive mr.Arif khan to my place i paid him the amount of rs.250 and took a receipt from him(receipt no.1424)on 18th jan 2009.he also gave me a new postpaid sim(sim no. [protected]).they told me that it will take 48 to 72 hours for activating the new sim.and when i asked him about the activation process he told me that they'll deactivate my prepaid sim after activating the postpaid sim.
then i receieved a confirmation call from vodafone they again told me that it will take 48 to 72 hours.but it did'nt.
then i called on mr.sunny's no.([protected])but they told me that their is nobody named sunny overtheir.they also behave very rudely.
next day i again called on that no.then they told me that mr.sunny was not their then i told them about my problem.they said that do'nt worry the no.will be activated in 24 hours.
but after 24 hours i receieved a call from vodafone it was again a confirmation call now he told me that the physical verification would be completed in next 24 hours n the no.would be activated at the same time.
on 24th of jan their verification agent reached at my place he completed all the formalities and told me that my no.would be activated at the same day but again did not.
on 25th of jan in morning they deactivated my prepaid no.without activating the postpaid sim.
i called on their customer care number(111) now they told me that i had to call on postpaid customer care.
i tried multiple of time on their customer care they again said me the same thing that it will take 48 to 72 hours.
they also told me that they did'nt receieved the documents yet but i already submitted the documents with the payment of rs.250 on 18th jan.
due to their irresponsible behaviour and misscommitments i suffered a lot.and i don't think that i made any mistake...

respected sir, i have a vodafone prepaid connection, and thats activate, i got call from vodafone for postpaid connection, and the send me exectuve for coolection money for postpaid connection and they take money and give me sim +recipt, and tell me that your connection is activate within 48hours, and they collect all document . but no connection is activate . and noe 25 days happened, they tell me we dont know about this and treaten that what u were do, u do we dont do any thing and we dont return ur monwey also .

I have vodafone post paid and prepaid both the connection. The post connection was showing Number barred when i was using it in roaming. I visited vodafone office in lucknow and explain the problem. With there assurance that things will work within 15 minutes, I was ask to deposit some amount, which instantly been done. Some amount has also been deposited at prepaid connection. But the services and the recharge both was not done till date.

Vodafone — Receiving irritation mail from Vodafone

Dear Sir,

I received legal notice from Vodafone on 21/2/2009, I have taken hutch connection on 17/JUL/2006 i used only few (3 or 4) month, Hutch service was nice, Unfortunately my company has forced me to take their own corporate connection, I went to Brigade Road (Bangalore) hutch office i approached for cancelation of the connection, As par my request only that connection has got canceled, And as per their terms and condition all the payment has (1530 /-) cleared in the same office, All the process it went nicely, She has given me acknowledgment also, Unfortunately i don’t have that acknowledgment because two and half years is ended, After long years their sending me this legal notice? Your outstanding amount rupees 1530/- has not cleared, I am surprise; Now i don’t have any proof to give them witch i have paid two and half years before, I request you to please help me out on this.

Vodafone - Mobile Connection — Harrasment from Pre Paid to Post Paid Connection

I have a prepaid connection from Vodaphone number is [protected]. After several request from customer care Vodaphone I had agreed to make my connection from prepaid to post paid. The plan I had agreed was 222 - Plan, its of Rs:222 pm 222 min free STD/Local thats what person from customer care said. On 10th of March they have collected a cheque of Rs.250 from me and taken all the necessary documents. 13th of April I have recieved a call from Vodaphone once again to confirm my connection. When I had ask the person the detail about the plan they said same as earlier 222 Min STD / Local once I asked what about STD Landline they said it will be charged extra on top of Rs.222. Because I call landline local most of the time I have denied the connection. In the mean time my cheque has been cleared.

On 19-20th of March again I recieved one call from Vodaphone for pre paid to postpaid. This time they came with different plan Rs 350 and Rs 350 talktime. 1Rs Local (Mobile + Landline) 1 Rs STD (Mobile + Landline). I agreed they sent agent to my house once again on 23rd of March they collected documents with cash Rs.250. and assured the ealier payment will be adjusted on the next bill.

Today is 1st of April till my account is not activated. I went to Vodaphone store they had given one reference number ([protected]) against the refund of Rs:250 which I had paid on 10th of March. No update regarding the later one.

I just kindly request to the concern person to sue this company which has not taken my 6-7 Hours of valuable time but also harrasing me. If possible I need compensation form this company.

Vodafone Pre-Paid Connection — Incorrect registration and issuance of new prepaid connection

I had taken a new Vodafone Pre-paid connection somewhere in the month of Oct - Nov 2008 from Mobile Store, Malviya Nagar Market, Malviya Nagar New Delhi. Mob No - [protected]. On 30th May 2009, when i went to Voda fone Store - Ansal Plaza, New Delhi, i was told that the same no. is issues to a person by the name "Umesh" in the month of September and not me. Hence the customer executive refused to serve me. I had submitted a copy of my pan card, my driving license copy and a photograph for this connection.

I am quite afraid that some other number would have got allocated to some other person on my documents, and any mis-use might lead to unwanted problems/ issues to me.

This kind of mistakes is highly unacceptable i would request for an early resoulution of the same.

Vodafone payment collection agents are an irritating lot. The call center people will call me up and take all sorts of appointments. But the field agents would never come and I end up paying the late fee charges every month. I think the working of the call center and agents should be very well coordinated. Yes I agree with you guys. vodafone as a company are there to rip you off. they lie to you saying that you will have this much credit, the internet will be free etc when you sign up you get none of them.
the advisors are very very rude, and they always refuse to give their names and most of the times they just hang up on you.

Vodafone — inappropriate charges and no technical support

I subscribed to vodafone connect after consulting the costumer care to access internet on my PC through the mobile phone and for the same Rs 199 has been deducted form the account as monthly service after which I was promised to receive the technical informations to access the net.
even after repeated complaints and contacts the problem was not solved despite being the fact that I was being charged, being on roaming, I tried to get the info but was unable to and for the same I was denied supervisor support and even after making request to disconnect the service the rental of Rs 199 was re-deducted from my account.

I had confirmed abot the payment in my bank the amount RS.5080/- was debited and they gave me entry in my passbook.The passbook entry photocopy was submitted to Thae vodafone shop to Mr. Ritesh on 8/8/09 at 4pm.Nothing is been forwarded to payment cell on the other side me, my 10yrs daughter and sister are harressed by payment cell. customer care which runs with slogan of Happy to Help giving most Unhappy experiences and arogant talks saying payment department will harrass you till you are not making payment without looking into how to solve problem.2day it is 11th day.

Vodafone — Non Payment of Commission

I am a dealer for Vodafone, I have been ripped off by company as they first promised me to pay incentives for the sales I will give them but now after I have given them continuously good business from last 3 years from the time even Hutch was there, the company is denying me my money and not paying me.
Every time they call me for settlement but never give money this is going on from last 3 years. Every time their Area managers, Regional managers and Cluster manager promise me of giving me my money but they never do so.
I dont know how such a company can do such things and there is no law for such things in India.
Please don't take Vodafone dealership as they will Rip you off as well

    I m uday singh rawat ([protected]) a vodafone customer want to bring some attention over vodafone cheated services to the customer.They did following cheating:
    1) By recharging of addon card of Rs 20 for local 100 vodafone to vodafone night mins....they without any notification converted my previously aquired 800 vodafone to vodafone day mins to night.Hence loss of valuable 800 day mins.They gave the reason that it is stated in terms and condition which they never inform to me.They said u have to ask to retailer about this condition and we cannot do anything.

    2) They send many services messages in which by simly opening them u automatically get subscribed without any information.Eg.They send me message for india pak series updates via service message,where i just open it and my 100 Rs get deducted.I talked to customer care and they said " sir its ur problem u clicked a link and you just message dct ckt to reply then ur cricket update service will blocked and u will get ur balance back.I did the same as said but my balance not given back,so i called back to customer care and they replied " U got the wrong information we r sorry for this but we cannot do anything " hence my valuable 100 Rs lost with no cricket update service....so its a clear case of cheating..

    So to whom it may concern i requested that please do something in it otherwise everyone will be cheated like this.

    so its really requested that concern person please take some action and give me some kind of reimbursement either by wealth or action over this company.

    Unless you are careful, you can get pulled into the subscriptions. You have to be smart and not click or send activation messages without understanding the message. Unfortunately, because of the stupidity and softness of some of the customers, companies get away with daylight robbery. You get what you deserve.

    Vodafone — Vodafone is repeatedly cheating people and government is taking no action

    This company is a real fraud. In the last six months they have tried to cheat me of my money several times.

    1. I had asked them to put my number in "Safe Custody" scheme for 3 months (because I had to leave for the US), whereby I was supposed to pay them 99 Rs rental for temporary suspension of my number for 3 months but retaining the number so that I can reactivate the number after 3 months. But Vodafone thought it to be a right opportunity to cheat me and they promptly resumed my services after I left the country and started billing me. I monitor my account over the internet on a regular basis, so I caught their fraud in 2 days and e-mailed them. But they did not respond to my e-mails anymore. Only auto acknowledgements were received. I am going to lodge a case against the company for playing fraud with me, and will use all my e-mails and their auto acknowledgements as my evidences. Even the nodal officer and apellate officer are not replying to the e-mails sent out to them.

    2. In addition to the above, some time back they tried to harrass me by activating caller tunes without any request. When I enquired about this their nonsense executives told me that there is no way they can enable caller tunes without request. Then the real trick. Because of an unwanted caller tune, the customer sends out a deactivation SMS for which they are charged 15 Rupees. Many persons tend to ignore this amount becasue they do not monitor their bills much. Maybe only 20 % of people monitor this. Rest don't. That means Vodafone manages to dupe lakhs of people of 15 rupees every month. Imagine the illegal profit they make out of customers hard-earned money. Request all of you to lodge public interest litigations in this regard. These foreign companies should not be allowed to come to India and cheat Indian public this way. They cannot do anything like this in USA or Europe, becuase that would cost them millions of dollars as fine. They can afford to do such corruption in India because of government support in the corruption activities. Please, for god sake, do not spare these corporate cheaters. Let us show them what Indian Law can do to them.
    I was tried to activte call waiting and call conference in my mobile.. I had been talked to the cutomer care past 20 days and i also complainted to a vodafone shop in Gobichettipalayam. But no response from even a single side.. I tried with "*43#" option but its coming like "request not completed".. I tried from another mobile also.. what is this..? IS this is the way to satisfy the customer...????????

    on 8th march 2008 i changed my plan frm pre paid to post paid on number [protected]. That my services on my respective number were activated on the very 8th of march. but today 14th march my services have been deactivated . my outgoing services have been deactivated without any reason. when i contacted the vodafone shop the assued me that within two hours my outgoing services would be activated but at 13:28 pm i recieved a message frm the vodafone service centre that ur registration no. is[protected],they would respond to the query on friday. without any reasoning my services have been withdrawn if neccessary action is not taken i have no alternative than to reach the consumer court
    i am vodafone customer with out my notice my balance had gone minus and if i call the customer care that say that i have used GPRS

    I am the user of Vodafone lifetime prepaid service since last 2 years and have the following comments:

    1) When I checked my balance, i noticed that it was minus 29/- Rs. Upon visiting their RUDE & UNHELPFUL customer service desk, the reply was, I has activated caller tune (no proof was given). Finally I charged my mobile and the amount was deducted from me. After this, I was bit skeptical about putting additional credit in my account for the fear of loosing my credit to this big cheater called VODAFONE.
    My million dollar question is: If the company can give me a debit of Rs. 29 for caller tunes, why can't they give me the same debit facility for making important calls when I have not credit lost.
    In summary these people are worse than the extortionist goondas.

    2) Recently, I received a message from them that I have not recharged my account for the last six months. A 3 days notice was given to me after which it was mentioned that they will discontinue my services. As per my understanding of LIFETIME connection, I ignored the message. Our esteemed VODAFONE kept their prompt commitment and my services were discontinued after 3 days. Same time I went and recharged my account with Rs. 100. Even then the services did not resume. I visited the same RUDE & UNHELPFUL customer service desk. Now I was told my services were discontinued because I did not submit ID documents as per government rule. When asked, why I did not receive any intimation for the same, again there was no response (Their customer unfriendly personnel were Mr. Varun, Ms. Namrata and Ms. Fatma. All from Vasai Road Vodafone store)

    i taken one add-on no, before that i asked the vodafone employee regarding bills, he told for two numbers two bills will generate after confirmed this only i taken the add-on card, but bills are not generated separately, then i called customer care they told for add-on no bill will not generate separately. so what i am saying is company will do any mistake and they feel not their responsible and they will change rules on the fly with our intimating to customers. till now this is the worst service provider, worst response from customer care and giving the fault information in stores in the universe.

With this in mind I started hunting for the Vodafone dealer agent for the service & I got One agents no. his Name is Ramu & his no. is [protected]. I spoke to him over the phone, after awaited 7-10 days he visited my office & took my id proof doc's. Then he almost disappeared for more than 2 weeks & when he returned it was a shock to hear that the 1st time I should take minimum of Rs.3000 worth currency whether its required or not & also asked me to pay Rs.450 for the demo sim card with the knowledge how much talk time will be available on it. He was the most cheapest dealer I had ever seen who didn't even know how to speak as he sounded very arrogant.

    I am Rakesh and been using the Vodafone number since last 4 years. In these four years, I never felt satsified with their customer service. Their customer service is worst, I have ever seen.

    Some, people will say, if you are not satisfied, then why you are sticking with the company. The reason is, I am using this number since I came to Mumbai and do not want to change the number.
    Also, if these comments are coming from the person who has used the services for 4 years, it has some truth in it. There are other service providers also and even their service is not good but at least their call rates are cheap. Vodafone is the most expensive among all the service providers and still their services are so bad... Really disappointed.

    Vodafone — Complaint repeatedly ignored

    Despite repeated complaints through numerous calls and emails, my problem of 3G service not working has been ignored. I have also been charged for the service in spite of me highlighting the fact that the service is not accessible on my connection.

    Also the complaint contact number mentioned on the site , 198, does not work stating ' can not process your request at this time'.

    The responses to my emails do not address my concern of why the service is not working. It has been approximately more than 3 weeks since i had highlighted my issue.

      I have not received bills for the month of Oct and Nov'07 and now same was received in duplicate after compliant. Now one bill for the month of Nov'07 for cell No. [protected] still awaited. I have received a message from you that " Hello, your bill dated 15-11-07 will due date of 03 Dec-07 has been received by S. Kumar, on 26/11/07 at your billin address([protected]) and second Message " Your bill dated 15/11/07 with due date of 03/12/07has been received by Mahendra on 22/11/07 at your billing address. The following qurries are arised in your message:-
      1. Date of billing are same how this is possibile the bill reached in separate date.
      2. Boths named persons are not living in my house as well as near my house.
      3. your custmer care officer informed that bill for the month of Oct'07 received by Kavite, Such named lady could not living this house/nearby.

      I have 2/3 times informed the same to your custmercare officer but still fruitfull result are not received. I personally requested to look into the matter the intimate to me correct posion on the matter. I think your carrier have some checking about your com. or otherwise. If we have not received correct posion, I will looge a compliance against your com. or i disconnect both the connection.

      Dear SIr,

      Last week I had taken Vodafone number – [protected] on 31 July, 2008. On the same day I had used 75 /- bonus card but it is not yet working (still deducting more money for all calls). Since that day I am continuously calling to Vodafone customer care and every time they reply that problem will be solved within 24 hours.

      I registered complaint for the same (complaint no –[protected]; the person answering the call assured me that not only the bonus card will be active but also the extra amount spent will be given back to me within 24 hours. Two times I got SMS that the problem has been addressed. Actually the problem still persists.

      I am still looking for completion of those 24 hours. If possible help me. From my side this is last request; if this will not be given consideration I’ll have no way other then to take some other operator’s SIM card.

        per day minimum 15 time they switch on and put the songs. while i am driving time i took the phone that number comes my hand will automatically switch off. Some times peak times call the phone. so please avoid the above subject. I am your customer. and i don't want to change number in future. that is in your hand.

          Do Not Disturb service not working

          I have registered successfully for Do Not Disturb service of Vodafone, and they have given me a request no. for the same. Alas, the vodafone has not stopped its tele-marketing calls and SMS to my mobile.

          I hope Vodafone ad hires to the service it has to provide....

          tamilnadu is not the only place in the world where vodafone has network coverage. i live in bluddy australia and i never can receive or make calls because my phone freaken never has reception. i have been with vodafone for 7 years. but in definitely am going o change o another phone company because honestly wats the point of of owning a phone if no one can contact me. vodafone better fix the problem otherwise ill make the prediction for ur company. all your customers move to another phone company and vodafone is forced to shut. its shame im not gonna wait around for you to fix the problem. but because im nice and for your own sake do something about it.

            The reason behind am asking the Hard copy of the bill is to because I have to claimed the same from my company, my company wants orginalbill

            to reimbursement.

              I have vodaphone connection for my mobile. Surprisingly without my knowledge on March 22, 2009 before I have received a Short Message Service form Vodaphone saying that your caller tone will be activated immediately which I never asked for. How a company can do such an unprofessional way to irritate a customer. I hope this sort of cheap way of marketing should never happen to customers like me. One thing is I will be charged for the caller tune which I never asked for and secondly the song of the caller tune which is rubbish (Surely the person who is calling will irriarated if he/she listens to the caller tune). I hope the company has some better ways to attract the customer not like this. May I request you kind honour to cancel the ring tone from my mobile phone and credit Rs. 30.00 in my Account immediately.

              Vodafone — Threatening the old in laws

              I was using vodafone commection (previously Hutch) during 2003/2004.. I was completely not satified with service. My number was billed extraordinarily. I called the customer service several times and no action has been taken. There was a disputed payment to the tune of Rs.800.00 . Now i get frequent calls from a lawyer threatening my old in laws to pay the bill or they will file a case against and send police and put me in jail etc... etc... I m really in problem.                 This is to complaint about the collection dept of Vodafone.My family and few of my friends are recieving calls from your collection dept to get my contact info. when they opposed and said that they do not have my address then they were harrassed .My parents are still in the state of mental trauma.
                No one ever tried to lookafter my conceren of not paying the bill ,i just want to ask one question ,did any one from vodafone asked my family or my friends to give me a postpaid connection???

                This is to let you know that since two days I have been receiving calls from the number [protected] by the name Devender Huda and another number [protected] by the name V. K Bharadwaj on my mobile phone [protected] which is a corporate number no idea how they found it. They are threatening me of dragging me to the court on account of some VLC company putting case against me saying that the file number is 249/08. My whole family is undergoing a trauma.                     i am a vodafone user for 4 yrs and always pay the bill on time and personally.today i tried the bill collection service.i called the office at 10.00am and was told it would be done by 2.00pm.ireceived a call at 12.00 asking for the add.no one turned up,i called the excecutive,avinash([protected])who said he would reach in 15 mins.at 5.00 i called him again he did not receive my call.i called the payment centre who assured me that the bill would collected on the same date.i waited till 8.00 and no one came.i again called the customer service no.[protected],the lady said she would find out the delay and get back to me which she never did.such kind of service is not expected from you.

                    Vodafone has a useless third class customer service crew they dont even know how to communicate to a customer who has a corporate plan connection i have had too many difficulties and hard time to understand these so called customer care executives. they lack of information they dont even know what are we calling for. i just wanted to know that how can i make a bill payment online or over the IVR system i spoke to 4 reps named ganesh,keshwar,ajit.prashant no one was able to explain as to what are the steps to be taken to pay bill at last i only explored the entire stupid i.v.r. system and found my way. this was really irritating for me to speak to everyone and explain all the things again and again. i mean if this is going to be the case then i think it would be better if i cancel the connection. it took me whole 2 hours to make a stupid bill payment. it ended up with frustation. i just wanted to say that vodafone needs to work on their customer care reps. they need to be trained on the ethics of tele servicing or they should choose customer service reps who speak correct and fine english.this is a limit now .someone needs to contact me about the same from your company.

                    I came to know that the said amount is deducted for activation
                    of internet on phone. I hereby specify that neither made a request to
                    activate the internet and nor used any time even it was activated. The
                    Assistant in vodafone store on 01.12.07 assured me that she has sent an
                    email to the concerned department and the money will be re credited in
                    my account with in one week. But it is regreted to say that the
                    assurance was not fulfilled. I further approach the same vodafone store on
                    19.01.08 and on the enquiry the assistant said to me that she is not
                    capable to do the needful.
                    Hence I request to you that an amount of Rs. 398 may kindly
                    be recredited to my account.

                    This vodafone people are so cheap and uneducated that they do not know hw to communicate with customers. I have been customer of vodafone from 4 years and have never missed out on payn any bills. Thistime my bill has crosssed 5000 and i did not pay as i had not been sent the itemised bill.                     My name is praneeth ..im one amongst u frustrated very much after i took the vodafone connection.
                    I've paid the bill li'l bit late and they barred my incoming n outgoing services. I expected my services wud be unbarred soon i pay the bill and then i did so...After i paid the bill i called up the customer care service and said them dat i paid the bill just now and i pleased them to activate my service. I was very happy the way an excutive repliedto me coz he said me it wud be done in half an hour. Alright i was waiting for dat moment ... later i looked at the clock it passed more than half an hour but my calls were not activated... Again i called up the customer service and a lady answrd my call and she asked me to take out the sim card and put inside after 15 min .. i did dat but ther was no use ... i waited for 6 hrs... still the services wer not active .. again i called up, an other executive said me dat it will be done in 2 hrs ... after dat i waited for 10 hrs ... services wer still not active ... so i thought to bang those executives and i called up again, i explained a lady abt my prblm facing wit this vodafone services ... She took all the information of mine regarding the payment and finally says dat "sorry sir we could not find any kind o[censored]pdate in our system" i donno wat systems do thay use... This is very very bad from the service provider... Vodafone this is not the way u serve to the customer... plz try to recruite the executives who are very spontaneous and well active while they answer to the customers... This is my humble request ... Ur executives are null, blank, no one has proper knowledge abt the product of which they r dealing wit. They cannot understand the customers queries... Plz recruite better executives...                     my mobile no is [protected], since 04 oct 08 i had not been using your service to due to some unforeseen circumstances in my family and i was unable to inform you either.My talk plan was 444/- i would like you to consider my case and reduce my rental to a minimum plan as i am not in a state to pay.
                    i am your used last 3 years, but recently one month poor connectivity. i am in rudrapur, uttrakhand. If i call always jumping some another nos. its a happend last three weeks. its means you collect false calls charges in my mobile nos. so kindly check immediately.

                    Another problem is i paid my bills amount dt 20.02.2009, (Hanumant communication, rudrepur, udhamsingh nagar, receipt no.181161 amount- Rs. 1900) but when i call always message "your payment not received."
                    I am a vodafone user for last 7 years. The site for payment on line gets hung at "WISH TO LEARN MORE ABOUT YOU"
                    This is not acceptable. Moreover the payment centres in Delhi refuse to accept payment for Kolkata mobile phone bills.
                    Who is accountable for this is not known.
                    i have deoosited two cheques bearing nos 581236 &581237 for 415- & 1238- being monthly payment for the month 112 to 113, for mobile nos [protected] & [protected] respectively. these cheques were dropped in the box provided in the BEST on 16/03/09, Generally, the cheques are debited to my accont within 3 days, but this is first time cheques are not colleced and realised for payment.i have paid all the bills regularly i.e too before dur dates, please look into the matter, let me know the status of these cheques, in order to avoid payment of penalty.

                      Below is the complaint that I sent to the vodafone people. You would be able to understand the actual issue.

                      "Hi

                      I just checked my bill and found that I was charged for the SMSs that I send for almost the whole month. My SMS pack was not working. I don’t know how it got deactivated. And the worst part is that even if it was deactivated nobody bothered to inform me. This is ridicules. I have always found problems with the billing.

                      You have 2 days to sought it out. I WILL NOT PAY THE CHARGES FOR SMS AT ANY COST. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN PAYING MY BILLS ON TIME AND THEY ARE RARELY BELOW 1000. NOW I AM REALLY FED UP AND I FEEL I HAVE BEEN TOO NICE WITH YOU GUYS IN THE PAST.

                      PLEASE HELP!!!

                      Now what amazes me is that they say I can use the SMS50 pack with Talk-275 plan whereas this pack was working for around 2 months with this very plan. They deactivated it without informing me and I was charged for the SMS for the whole month.

                      My billing cycle is from 10th to 9th of next month. The deactivated my sms pack on 12th Oct, though as per there policies an sms pack can not be deactivated within the billing cycle but only at the month end.

                      Their statements are contradictory to their own policies.

                      I am waiting for some response from them, but I know they won't provide me with a waiver of Rs 400 at this moment where I am paying the remaining bill of Rs 1100.

                      And when I would request for a disconnection or go to Consumer Forum, they would be paying much more than that.

                      I requested vodafone care to deactivate SMS @ 10p plan,so i can activate 1 Rs STD facility.They deactivate and said me to wait for 24 hour's for deactivation.Next day i tried to activate STD 1 Rs card,but not able to activate getting message "card face value grater than session value".Again i contacted to customer care to deactvate.They advice me to send message like "SSMS NO" to 56789 again to deactivate.I tried to send 3 times but get back message from vodafone like"keword mismatch" and deducted 6 Rs for 3 sms.Now they advice me to send SMS to 111. Get same message back like your request will be actioned in 24 hours.

                      Vodafone — Sms deactivation

                      Inspite of activating my sms card all my sms rates were 1 re. I had activated it on 23 aug 2008 .I tried to call to vodafone customer care, but their network was busy.
                      What the hell vodafone is thinking about itself ...i tool the plan of daily 2 rupees rental and 30 sms free per day ...and man I get cutt oof 2 rupees daily and I get no SMS free !!!

                      If you see the trailing mails below, its been 11 days since I logged in a complaint and a request to stop the services but to my extreme disappointment, it has still not been deactivated and Vodafone is continuing to deduct my balance each and everyday. I fail to understand does a company like Vodafone fills its pocket by cheating its customers like this.

                      Please treat this as my last mail. I am getting my connection deactivated if I do not get a message for deactivating of service today.

                        Vodafone — Activated Caller Tune without my permission!

                        Vodaphone activated a silly caller tune on my prepaid connection no. [protected] and deducted Rs.35/- from my balance. I have been complaint several times on customer care but attender says, caller tune has activated, because I wish to activate. This is not the way exploit the consumer so cheaply.

                        Rest I have been receving their ad call 5 to 6 time within a day. I think customer grievance are not being seriously entertaining by VODAPHONES.

                        Now I wish to get rid of that silly caller tune / ad calls / ad SMS without sparing my money & time and credit my balance with deducted amount.
                        I am working in Xansa & my mobile no. is [protected] & they have activated caller tune on my no. without any request from my side, & this had happened thrice with me & they have deducted 60Rs bal each time. I have made several calls in the customer care and everytime they say, it will not be repeated, however there is no action taken till yet. And now i am really pissed off because of the inconvenience caused to me & first of all i want my caller tune to be deactivated & i want the money to be refunded ASAP.                         I am holding a postpaid satyam corporate vodaphone connection.The digusting activity they have performed is that they have activated the default vodafone caller tune service on my mob no:

[protected] was refilled on[protected] first for Rs.199.00 by retailer Gutka Stores, Digha naka at 08.59.44 hrs (transaction ID MU[protected]) and again later on the same day[protected] by mistake for Rs.350.00 by retailer Galaxy, Thane(W) at 12.22.24 hrs.(transaction ID MU[protected]). This error was reported to the retailer Galaxy on the very same day[protected] for reversal of the second transaction and refund of Rs.350.00 charges. Galaxy has received the complaint order no.[protected] from their distributor for reversal, but has not received the confirmation from their distributor, for the reversal and refund. Would urge you to consider an efficient procedure of reversal to customer to the same degree as is your present procedure of cutting off the telephone connection in case of any delay in refilling beyond the due date.

                        I am unable to activate ISd in my vodaphone number [protected]. When i call the customer care to activate it they said i cud send the sms ACT HISD to actibate it which i did .

                        the meaage came back saying unable to process isd.! when i called up aagain they are asking me to pay a refundable deposit. As per vodophone booklet whih you get it never asks for any such refund.

                        I have had a Vodaphonenumber which i have been trying to change to Prepaid as I was going to be out of country for a while.                           Vodafone customer care executive connect me other lines have no connection with my problems. I am facing many problems during using Vodafone connection regarding Vodafone services & Vodafone customer care services.

                          In Vodafone customer care no person can help me please solve my problem. I talk many times to customer care executive but they cannot satisfy me!

                              I purchased a world calling card from your office situated at Kunjpura
                              Road
                              Karnal. The seriaj number of the card is [protected] for Rs 550/-
                              indicating the validity for three months on 05/11/2007.As I purchased this
                              card first time I asked your employee to get it activate and the same
                              was got activated by your employee and told that you need not use the
                              pin number for dialing for the international call. After two to three
                              days when I tried to contact my son at Manchester UK. I was surprised to
                              receive a voice massage that only Rs 1/61 is lying in my account,
                              whereas the balance should be Rs499/-. I could not under stand where the
                              amount has gone.
                              Please check from your record how this happened. I will also like to
                              point out that since than I am trying my best to contact your vodofoam
                              care number 50119 daily but of no use. The said number is availabe, but
                              the executive is not availabe for a long time like 1/2 hour and as
                              such we have to disconnect the phone. Today also at 9.45 PM I called on
                              your toll free number 111 and narrated the whole episode. The lady who
                              was attending the phone tried to connect my mobile to your number 50119
                              but of no use and ultimately the phone was disconnected after 15
                              minutes.I failed to understand why the customer care is not attending my
                              complaint. Please look into the matter and correct the balance of my world
                              calling card or tell me to which number the call was made and on which
                              day and time.I may like to inform you that on05/11/2007 I received a SMS
                              from your number56789 `Hellow! Thank you for yourrequest on PINLess

(i was given to understand that the process would take 48 hours).on saturday, the 11th verification was completed. after calling the toll free numbers at least twenty five times, always being left on hold, i am left helpless and frustrated with the service. considering there are four vodafone mobile users in my family, of six, i rejoined the band wagon after a short stint of travel. i now hold an impotent phone, not willing to lose money waste time and energy to recharge with a prepaid ticket(made for individuals with vision which is par excellence)and the post paid not done. everyone is extra sweet before you take the connection, sign on the dotted line and you are done for. like i am. please vodafone do what you must NOW!
                              I called 111 to know about world calling cards.But, they told to contact 50119 to know about the required information.When i called it was surprising to hear that the number i dialed is an invalid number and asked to check the number.why this is happening.

                                I had a prepaid connection [protected]. One day i received a call from Intouch solutions. They told me about the new scheme regarding the vodafone pre-paid to post-paid with that they will providing gift voucher including one Reebok bag, T-shirt and pen and also 10 paisa vodafone to vodafone in Rs 25 per month included in my bill.
                                For this i paid Rs 250 in cash my new sim is activated but the 10 paisa voda-to-voda(fone) is still not activated and i havent received any gift voucher from them
                                I have all the voice recordings in phone for the proof. For more infromation u can contact me any time i have full proof payment slip also and the address.

                                I wont suggest vodafone to anyone because:

                                Recently I bought one Vodafone six-years connectivity prepaid card for my son (we have BSNL, Tata-Indicom mobile lines with an Airtel landline added to this). Since, he is only 12 years old I could not take the card in his name and as such I took it on my name. First my son recharged the SIM with Rs.50/-. After a couple of test calls and downloading of a ringbone it reduced drastically to Rs.2.84 paise. Everybody know that Vodafone lines get number o[censored]nwanted SMS automatically. Since he do not know the dangerous nature of these and since he do not know how to get rid of them we just deleted them. One day, while he was using the phone somehow a Vodafone alert service got activated and his balance of Rs.2.84 awfully reduced to -28.16.

                                We checked with the dealer he said that some service might have got activated. Then we checked with the Vodafone customer care and as per their direction we again recharged for Rs.50/- which act deducted Rs.-28.16 from our talk value and we were left with Rs.14.35. (So we paid Rs.30/- for an unwanted service.) Then we used that Vodafone alert which was somehow chosen by him and got a reply saying that the alert service was deactivated. Then we sent one SMS to stop vodofone junk mails by using a term ACT DND (suggested by customer care people) to the specified number. We got a message from Vodafone saying that their SMS will be stopped. But after a day or two we started to receive junk SMS from them.

                                Today morning we had only Rs.9.37. This afternoon again our account reduced to Rs.-20.63. Probably Vodafone company swallowed another 30 rupees for its favorite service. So, just in a week they swindled Rs.60.00 from a customer diligently. I spoke to the customer care twice. Both the female staff repeated their jargon “the customer is wrong”. Fed up with their attitude I finally broke the SIM-card into two and thrown it away. Thus I spent Rs.350/- for learning a soar full lesson from Vodafone.

                                Vodafone’s advertisements are extremely good; their customer care people are very kind (only male staff); their advertisements are catching but their attitude is detestable.

                                having been a voda phone user for the past 3 years, i am extremely dissapointed with the pre-paid scratch card, i purchase each time, , , , , , , , , , my cell number is [protected] (GOA), , , , , , , , , , , , the 16 digit pin number gets obliterated while in the process of gently scratching to retrive it (my teenage daughter is the user of this cell phone) and i feel extremely sorry for her when she has to forgo her pocket money each time she has to recharge her card. I wish to ask youll to look in the matter seriously in order that unsuspecting users are not made victims or scapegoats on account of compromising on the quality of your recharge prepaid scratch cards ...kindly reply and expedite the matter.

                                now vodafone moving the worlds no 1 fraud provider, i have a connection with number [protected], yesterday am charged for Rs 50 at that at time a messege comes you have minus balance of rs 19, and here am surely not make any addons but they say here am make Vodafone alert in my connectionI think indias first and most powerfull fraud connectins are comes from vodafone. now am going to consumer court for never happends like this for no one

                                    Hi,

                                    I made a call to local number when i was in roaming.
                                    For that i got a bill amount Rs 18.
                                    Usually the charge will be Rs 1.40 for local call.
                                    I spoke with customer care executives many times,they said we will connect with seniour till that be patient on the line.
                                    I was waiting aroung 15min at every time after that the call was disconnected automatically.
                                    This is very horriable to me and making a head ache as well.
                                    Please look in to this.

                                    The worst customer care which irritates more of the offers at the odd times but when we try to reach them by calling 111 we should be waiting for the whole day
                                    why are you calling 10 times...this is the point where problem starts
                                    am subscriber of vodafone up(E) circle, my Mobile No. is [protected], On December 2007 I received a call from Customer Care No. [protected] offering for Cricket Pack but without pressing any key IVR responsed your Cricket Pack has been activated after this also I received a SMS for confirmation.After this Immediattely I complaind this case to CC vodafone but they did not responed else.I told them to block this no. from calling me but they said that I have to pay Rs. 99 for per month to block this number.I have send one E-mail them also, but there was no response.
                                    On 29 Janauary 2008 I disactivated this Cricket Pack and IVR confirmed that your Cricket Pack has been disactivated, but On 1 Feb. 2008 they again activated this Pack without any confirmation or any call. After this again I called and mailed them but there is no little response.
                                    This is not only mine problem a lot of customers are facing such type problems.

                                    i have 3 vodafone numbers on my name. ONe is used by my Dad. We had payed all the 3 bills before time and have the receipt as well. But i have been receiving call from call centre of vodafone saying " one bill has not been paid " and we will deactivate the service, which they did. Inspite of me telling them its been done, i have the receipt, i provided them the receipt details as well... but what so ever i had to do this 4 times, to different people calling from call centre.. ( i really dont know ...how they say THEY ARE HAPPY 2 HELP ).

                                    Now our bank show the entry of VODAFONE for the same bill been collected on 17th of April and we paid the bill on 14th...

                                    so now can someone help me with some CEO email id..or any NEWS cahnnel site...where i can carry forward this of VODAFONE...

                                    I am a journalism student and completely shocked by the way Vodafone is working. My friend Lost her Mobile this wednesday Mobile No. [protected]. She is a prepaid customer. When she called up Vodafone Customer service, they said she need to file a complaint in her area Polica station, then go to the nearest Vodafone centre, give the ID proof and only then they will be able to block her card. We are students and living 30 km away from the city. Now as she lost her mobile in the city, if she goes back to our area police station, Lodge an FIR, goes back to the city again to get the SIM blocked, it would easily take her more than 3 hrs( City-Police Station - City). My question is that if someone makes an illegal call in the meanwhile, whom would be blamed for that? Obviously my friend. In the recent days of terror peaking high everywhere in the country, these rules make life of a common man much miserable as they can fall under any trouble. I want to ask will Vodafone take the blame if she is arrested if her mobile number is used to make any sought of illegal calls?

                                    Vodafone — Extra bill for festival day SMS

                                    This is with regard to extra bill of 28.5 rupees in the Bill dated 25.09.08.

                                    I am in Corp 249 plan which includes 200 free SMS/month. In last month I made only 145 SMS’s, so there should be no charges for SMS

                                    All the SMS made on the 03/09 and 12/09 are charged on occasion of festival day(total 57 SMS).

                                    This was never informed to me while talking the SIM nor informed to via SMS. This unfair bill and this is not acceptable.

                                    This is the way vodafone has found to loot the customer on the festival day.

                                    28.50Rs is charged for SMS made on festival day.

                                    Sub:Automatic activation of caller tune and Mental agony

                                    This is to bring to your notice that vodafone has this strange habit of activating caller tunes without the consent/permission of the customer. Moreover, there is no facility in 111 to address such complaints. On December 06, 2008, while i was on my way for a picnic with my friends, i received a message saying that my caller tune service has been activated and "Awaz nahi aati"(some, cheap caller tune) was set as my caller tune. To my embarrasment when one of my clients called me up the very next day i was informed that some cheap and disgusting caller tune had been activated.I tried calling Customer care but in vain.I did not know how to deactivate and had to switch off my cell for two full days.
                                    I could not attend to any of my client's call and had to stay out of contact.After i came back i surfed the net and deactivated the caller tune

                                    I am a lawer by profession and such cheap things cannot be entertained by me.The mental agony undergone by me cannot be expressed in words. It has marred my reputation as a lawyer. Moreover, i will be compelled to take an action against Vodafone if my complaint is not attended to in time.

                                    To my surprise, my cell is also showing a negative balance of Rs.21.11/-. kindly take imediate action.

On last june 2008, i got a call from their customer care that they are providing me a new postpaid number and i had to submit only rupees 500 along with the documents. Their sales executive visited and taken 500 rupees and the documents and handed over a new simcard to us. Since then, the number never started as they told me that this number is not in use and it is having a pending bill.                                     I am to bring a very unfortunate matter in your kind notice regarding an illegal/unauthorized issue of a Vodafone Sim card.Few days ago, suddenly a group of police came to my one colleague's house in connection with interrogation of a car theft case. At that time she was not at home. The police said to her mother to attend her in the local police station. Naturally, my colleague became amazed and she went to the police station on the very next day. In the police station what he heard is amazing. A person stole a Maruti Omni car and afterward he made a call to the car owner and said if he did not pay of Rs.20, 000/- his car will be destroyed. The number displayed in the screen of Mobile phone of the car owner is [protected] and surprisingly this vodafone number exist in the name of my said colleague. My colleague does not know anything about that sim card and she never subscribed any vodafone number but surprisingly someone has purchased that sim card by producing her copies of valid address proof and photo.                                     I did online recharge using your http://www.vodafone.in/Pages/index.aspx site to [protected] ...I have selected Karnataka (which is correct) and YES BANK. I chose 201 rupees full talk time 30 day validity option. I filled up the information, it redirected to YES BANK I filled up my customer ID and Password. I typed 201, clicked the only option, I got password SMS to my another number ([protected]) tagged with YES BANK account, I typed the password, did the transaction to Vodafone BILLDESK. I recieved confimation page with confirmation number (54508). My cell is not yet recharged. I rechecked by filling confirmation number and my cell number in vodafone site. It said id is invalid, even I called your cutomer care(111) 6 times. First agent told me to wait for 1 hour, 2 agent told me to wait for 24 hours, 3rd agent told me to half an hour to recheck it. 4th agent told me to wait for 2 hours that an update is going on, 5th agent told me to wait again, and told if recharge not done then ur money ll be taken back to my YES BANK account.

                                    WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON TO REACHARGE JUST 201 rupees.

                                    EITHER VODAFONE OR YES-BANK ONLINE THINGS ARE NOT WORKING WELL

                                    i m using vodafone since it was named essar but i never faced a rude or u can say illmannerd behaviour like this before a call came to me from [protected] of your company by ur executive named raghuvir singh he talked to me like i m slave to him i just want to have information on international roaming but he started questioning me that "where are you going, when are you going ?"
