Subject: Complaint against Vodafone Hutchison Delhi

Respected Sir/Madam,

I (Mrs. Amul Sharma, mobile number[protected] am a corporate customer of Hutch. I have not been receiving bills for the last 1 year and 3 months. I have contacted Hutch many times but with no success. What I feel is that their (Hutch) department has been mislead by the courier agency. However, there is no one who can help me. Customer Service Advisors are not even bothered to apologies me or offer me compensation for all the inconvenience provided. I've the right to view the usage for which I'm payment but no one is bothered to provide me bills.

When I spoke to the customer service (111) and the courier department, the information provided was contradicting. I had to ask N Number of times to at least appreciate my patience with this regards. Every time I contact Hutch a complaint is forwarded. I do not know where but the thing are forwarded. How can a Network Service Provider hold my information for such a long without my permission?

I need help if some one in authority is reading it is welcome or I am now considering help myself on my on!! I have to search for your address, as it was not provided to me by the customer service even when I requested for it on 6 April 2007 but was not given. If you have proper complaint procedure, let me know.

Vodafone keep on calling you to make the payment and then set IVR on your phone but will never think of resolving customer's issues.

Such a ridiculous customer service. All are hopeless.

Mr Amul you are excatly right and I can relate to you as I went through the same problem and its continuing even today.
This is reference to my call with Hyderabad call center with Ramesh, Srinath, Rahul (Supervisor), Ram Krishnan (Supervisor) on 24 Jun 208 from 2000 hrs to 2200 Hrs.


I am having Mobile no [protected] and it is my prepaid card. I am also using Vodafone post paid number [protected] which is my primary. I have recharged for Rs 550/- few days back for my prepaid. Today when I try to make a call, the voice messages says I do not have enough balance to make call. When I checked the balance it was showing minus Rs. 100 /-. I immediately called customer care and talk to Ramesh, since he did not find the solution he transferred to his supervisor Ram Krishnan. Ram Krishnan verified all my accounts patiently and concluded that I am having Rs 100 Positive amount. Also, He says i can make an outgoing call since the service is active. He also requested me to give me a call after verifying the same. With thanks, I disconnected my call and try to use the prepaid number to call other number. This time also I was having same problem. Again, I have contacted customer care, this time it was Srinath and he is also connected me to his supervisor Rahul. Rahul is looking impatience and not listening to me. He over took me, before I complete my sentence. He also went hot, when i tried to explain what I had talked to Ram Krishnan. He was also not accepting my complaint and he refuses to give contact details of nodal officers. Since I am using Hutch/Vodafone for almost 3 1/2 years, this is the first time for such a genuine complaint, the call center guy (Rahul) is refused to accept and become anger over me. It is sad that your "Happy to Help" is not working with this kind of customer treatment. If I am not getting justice, I will think to terminate all my Vodafone service and all publish this in all consumer forums. But I hope I will get the justice soon.

Bull sheet service !!! I have used most of all the mobiles services i.e BPL, TATA, Reliance etc., but this is the worst service I have come across. I have heard from the ex employee of HUTCH that the call centers are purpose fully droppiong the lines as there remunerations are based on the numbers of call received or some connectivity charges.

If this goes on one day I will have to give up all my 5 mobiles.
Pathetic responses from the customer care. They will never provide the senior officers contact nos. Simply they chaet the customers. Line frequently got cut or the call would drop on the caller lifting the phone and hence need to call again and that is the way they are making the money.

    I have my vodafone connection [protected] since june 2007.
    on the 18th of december 2007 my connection was made out of service without any notice or information .
    i told all that to customer care but i was shocked to be informed that the same connection was issued in the favour of any other person.
    It's really shocking that after I completed all the neccessary formalities, Why I was cheated ? During the six months of my connection my identity and adresses was confirmed more than ten times but I was not informed. Now due to your mistake I am suffering much.
    Why should not I make it as a case in consumer court against vodafone.
    I hope that my connection will be re activated soon as the defaulter for all that mistake is your authority.
    if I don,t get any satisfactroy response against my complaint, I will lead the whole case to the consumer court.
    Plese mention the authority against whome we can claim for such type of mischievious act.

      Sub: cancelation of my mobile connection

      Due to high finacial crisis i can not afford vodafone so i request u please cancel my account with company on 11th January(bill date) on words.I am ready to pay the amount till at december 2007.I gave a written cancelation form to vodafone office at mavoor.
      *This is to inform u that i planned to cancel this account in previous month (November ) unfortunatly i cannot reach at bill date.In this month too i face same problem so please take necessary action in this regard.

        My self Arun Sharma, i had brought up two connection ([protected] & [protected]) from Hutch Now called Vodafone Mobile services, under a corporate plan for HT Media Limited Delhi. the Plans speaks as Monthly rental as Rs 298/- where in the following services are free, 200 CUG Minutes, 500 Local Minutes withing the same network, 200 SMS free & a special promo waiver of Rs 49 in monthly bills. all Local call cahrged @Rs 0.50/- & std calls @ Rs 1/-.

        ever since the phone is in use the 500 Local Minutes withing the same network has never been considered in the monthly billing. for this i was interacting with their branch office at CP as well as through e mails with cc to corporate care. but no attention has been made to my complaints. Earlier i was more of time travelling across the country therefor more of the followup was done on e mails. but now for the last 3-4 months i am very particular for the same but even then i am not getting any attention to the excessive payments made earlier, The relation ship Manager Ms Cathrine & Mr Nitin sharma are already in this loop.
        Over and above now my services are interrupted for outgoing calls, thereby making me harrase to make the payments, that too when my credit limit had not reached.
        May i have your attention & immediate action to the said grievieances.

        Vodafone — INTERRUPTED MOBILE SERVICE

        Dear Sir,

        This is to bring to your notice that my mobile - [protected] is currently not functioning properly. My incoming calls are coming ; however I cannot make any outgoing call.
        Infact I had called customer care Vodafone for a query as my mobile balance goes down automatically every time I recharge ( prepaid )..this might be becoz I get unnecessary service messages. I conveyed the same to your customer anfd told to stop all incoming service messages care but they failed to understand and said that if I recharge for Rs 50, the talk time is Rs 40 which any lay man knows.
        I hope you undersatnd my concern and solve my problem ASAP or else I have to look for another connection.

        I have similar experience. Please let me know if something was done regarding your complaint in consumer forum?

        This is my experience:

        I bought a Prepaid Vodofone connection on October 15th 2009. The required forms were not there with the dealer so my connection was barred by 18th October. I submitted the documents by 21st October to the dealer. When I visited the Vodafone gallery on 25th October, they told me that they haven't received any documents. On 26th October, I re-submitted all the required documents which were checked and approved by the helpdesk person in the Gallery (Chembur). On 2nd November, the connection was again barred. On the customer care they told me my documents were incomplete. I had to travel out station the same day and my connection was not working! I rushed to the store and found that there was over-writing at one place due to which my documents were not accepted. I signed again at that place as instructed by the help desk officer. Again, the officer ensured me that now the documents were complete and would definitely be accepted. On 4th November I received an email as a response to my complaint lodged on 2nd November that my documents are incomplete and I need to re-submit them. I was panicked as I was not in Mumbai. I called the Mumbai customer service and found out from the executive that there is NO problem in my forms and they are already accepted.
        On 9th November, my connection was again barred. Since my office is quite far from the Vodafone store I couldn't visit the store before 7 pm. I was told over the closed doors that my application doesn't have proper signs and hence rejected by headquarters. I was told to come back again when the documents reach the store. I visited the store on 15th Nov to sign wherever it was required and informed that the forms had not yet reached the store. On 16th Nov, the connection was again barred. On customer care, they informed me that the documents were rejected and I have to re-submit my documents. On visiting gallery they were not ready to help me as I reached the store at 7:10 pm - after they close it.

        What is the surety that I would get my connection working after I re-submit my documents?
        There is no response from the complaint I had made. They only gave me misleading information. They are not able to help at customer care number either. There is no track of documents or how the customer should get his/her connection working.

        I want to know is there any way I can sue the company for such a bad service?

          Vodafone — Disconnect my Connection

          I have a vodafone prepaid connection. It is almost 6 years old connection, Now they disconnect my line, Main thing is this is not a normal/regular connection, When i got the connection they say there is not needed to extended the validity, 1st 3 years my validity automaticly extend, but now i face a big trouble,Every year i have to mail or talking vodafone regarding this matter, & forcefully i have to recharge a big amount, Where as any service providers are give a life time sim with many different facility, but in my connection there is no facility even not work a sms bonus card, I request to Vodafone that please do the needful, I cant recharge every year with a big amount, Please activate my connection with a regular/normal connection,

            In hotline calls are not going i have requested to cancel my itemised biling but it has not been deactivated and i have been charged please i request you to deactivate soon.And i dont know why every time it goes to roaming and again it charges to me.My phone no is [protected].

            Dear Sir/ma'am,

            I am glad for the many services that you have incorporated to cater to. But at this juncture i am upset with regard to the frequent requests that has been made on two things-

            Firstly, in October 2007 - i had taken an ownership of the postpaid service with a letter requesting for transfer to MS.Nemdeikim Kipgen but it is sad as the customer service has not made those changes till now i.e is 20th May 2008.( The bill is being forwarded as Mr. Nemdeikim Kipgen). These bills are required for various officials matters/proof. I wonder if it will take a few more months to fix this problem.

            Secondly, a request had been made to change the billing address that occurred in March 2008 (i am told that it is still being mailed to the previous address where i am not even a tenant anymore).
            A field Executive is always required to collect my payments (for which your service is good for collecting cheques). I wish you understand the technical nuances of wanting to cross-check bills that is being addressed to you. If these two are not being met- i will always end up paying my bills along with late payments.

            Incase you require a better communication strategy or a better customer care service ask your personnels to LISTEN more and TALK less, (guaranteed that your recording machine is already doing that).

            PLEASE VALUE YOUR CUSTOMERS!!

              I had made calls to 111 (on October 29 2007) regarding a problem.Still my problem has not been resolved. The executives and the CEO in the 111 desk did not respond properly to my queries due to their improper information I lost my account balance of about Rs 10.15 and a recharge pack worth Rs 19. Since they did not replied properly I enquired with the retailer to whom I recharged with. She asked me to speak to 347. I made the call on 3 15 PM 0n 30, 31 October 2007 (both days same time) the executive’s name was Nithiya. Though she forwarded my complaint she was trying to convince me as much as she can. She did not believe about the calls I made to 111. I clearly explained the mistakes they made while speaking to me for the each attachments of this letter. I am expecting a proper response from you to rectify my problem. The repay of the amount I lost is not alone the problem. Since they wasted my time, my account balance and my money by giving improper information I expect a pay back of more than a repay of my money back.


              A NOTE ABOUT MY PROBLEM

              I had recharged for Rs 19 on October 29 about 8PM for surfing the internet via my PC. I called 111 to gain technical assistance. P.Shiva kumar (a trainee) had attended my call. He asked me to SMS ->WWW to 52586 and SMS ->VL to 52586. To receive settings for mobile internet so that I can surf the internet by connecting my mobile to my PC and surf the internet. I did as he said. I received an SMS from GPRSsettings saying that I will receive the Vodafone live settings soon. I waited about one hour and I got an SMS from GPRSsettings saying that the Vodafone live settings have been sent to me. But I not received the settings so I called again to 111. Then I told my problem to them .An executive named Yuvaraj attended my Call he gave me the following technical details for connecting to the internet.
              ACCESS POINT: portalnmms
              IP ADDRESS: 10.10.1.100
              PROXY NUMBER: 0000
              DNS ADDRESS: 0.0.0.0
              It was about 11:30 PM I got this information and proceeded to connect to the internet. After one hour after switching off and on the mobile for several hours by using the information given finally it was connected by using the information given by him. It showed that the system has been connected at 115.2 kbps the network status showed a steady increase in the amount of data sent but the incoming data was very low. So I cannot able to open any page in the internet. Since it was late night then I slept. The next day morning I tried few times and then I suspected there may be some problem in My PC. So I took my mobile with data cable to my brother’s home and tried there and with in few minutes the mobile connected with the internet @115.2kbps but the same problem persists. So I again called 111 for technical assistance at that time they told me to SMS -> WWW to 56789. I did as they said. I lost account balance of about Rs10.15 but still I did not receive the settings. I received an SMS from GPRSsettings saying that I will receive the settings soon. I waited about one hour and I received an SMS from GPRSsettings saying that the settings have been sent to me. But still I did not receive the settings. Then I again called to 111.An Customer Care executive attended the call and instructed me to send SMS -> <ANY WEB ADDRESS> to 52586. She disconnected my line without hearing my problem of loss in account balance. I did as they said. I received an SMS from GPRSsettings asking me to type VL send to 52586.Since my number has been barred from calling 111 so I reached the nearest Vodafone retailer and said my problem they asker me to speak to 347 (they did not permitted me to record that call since they had that dealership SIM in an wrong ID proof (Durai Saami nadar malihzi , othakkal mandapam Coimbatore[protected]. I spoke to them and found that all the information given to me till that time was wrong (except SMS -> WWW to 56789).Which should have been charged Rs 3 per SMS. They told me that I used a wrong settings to access the internet so I cannot able to view any pages. Since I argued that I did every thing as per the instructions given by their executives. They asked me to speak to their chief. I said my complaint to him then he asked me to wait then the line was disconnected without any proper response. Then I called 111 using the procedure explained in “111_barred_111_No TL.amr”. I spoke with Gokul ( as mentioned in Attachments file _”with gokul.amr”). I did as he said. I received a message saying that it was an invalid service code. Then about 3:15PM I reached the retailer where I recharged with Rs 19(it is not the place nearest to my home). They asked me to call and speak to 347.I am executive named Nithya attended the call I asked her to connect to their CEO she said she cannot do that instead she can help me. I placed my query to her then at last after about 20 min she agreed that she forwarded my complaint and then they will refund my balance and my 19Rs pack with in 24 hours she also said that their technical team will call back to me with in 24 hours. I waited patiently but nothing happened. Then the next day I again called to 347 in the same shop same time the same executive attended the call. She told to wait for 3 more days. And she scolded the retailer for allowing me to speak to the 347 via their special dealership SIM. The next day morning I called 111 (via method explained in Attachments file _ “111_barred_111_No TL.amr”) then I got the technical info about the settings mentioned below).

Then about 1 week later I got a call from Vodafone (from [protected]). He said that he is an employee of Vodafone then gave me little information mentioned below.
              To set home page as “www” then give no parameters for other settings.
              He also said that he forwarded my complaint to their higher officials and my money will be refunded soon. To clear more doubts on GPRS he asked me to call 111 and ask to connect to him.but I did not get my account balance back.

                Hi,

                my name is Athipathi Prakash, I own one Vodafone post paid connection; I have gone to the BTM First stage Vodafone Shop. And registered my compliant that I stats in BTM FIRST STAGE & my net work is not good and I am not getting the calls properly.

                My office is located in JPnagar.even for the past one weak I did not receive any single call when I am in JPnagar. But once I get out of JPnagar I will get all the missed call messages. Per day I am receiving 30 – 26 missed calls. I have registered the compliant for 4 times.3 times by using 111 and once I directly went to Vodafone shop in BTM 2nd stage and registered the compliant, but just few mints back I called to 111 and asked wat is the compliant that is registered in my account he replies me there is no complaints registered in ur number sir u please say me now I will reg a new compliant for u.

                This is the way how they respond to the customers. I really felt bad because of this. And due to this I have missed many of my customers and for the one week I can’t able to generate revenue for my company. Vodafone post paid connection really has a very bad customer service. They have honey in the speech while selling the connections .and sends the TNT in Bills.

                I do agree, first of all, the customer service reps are not trained, how to use systems quickly to assist the customer, u spend around 15-30 mins in making them understand what u need and what they should do for you.

                After that when u call second time to know the status of your complaint, they are blank as i[censored] never called to register a complaint. Sometimes I feel, they use a bahi khata instead of computers.

                Also, the reps enter contradictory information in the interaction records of company as compared to what they say to customers.

                Once the new year starts, I will look for another service provider.

                The new Vodafone Caption, "We make customers follow, wherever we want, until they realise they have not reached anywhere with their complaints."

                  My name is praveen kumar , i own two vodafone post paid connection , one of my vodafone numbers had a huge bill (not how much i usually talk for), hence i suspected wrong billing, So i requested the customer care to send me an itemized bill or the same, Which obviously they never did, and in turn i did not pay the bill amount , now after almost three months i get a call from an unknown number , and i am told that the bill was sent ? i dont know to which address, and i am asked to make the payment.

                  I informed the customer care representative about the situation. At the end he "THREATENED" me of coming to my residence and collecting the bill.

                  This is a totally unprofessional behavior to a customer who has held a vodafone phone now for 3 years.

                  I have a very unpleasant experience with vodafone service since I have taken this connection (post paid). Those are due to following reasons;

                  1> Very poor network at my residential area, because of which I am never able to continue my phone conversation for more than 2 or 3 minutes as voice becomes completely inaudible from both sides.

                  2> I have given this complain to customer care for so many times from beginning, but they registered this complain after a long time, on DEC 22/2007, regd no[protected]. But still there is no improvement at all.

                  3> They have put a credit limit of Rs1000/-, which is very insufficient compared to my requirements, so frequently I had to pay the bill, that to against unbilled amounts always.

                  4> For this problem I had requested them to increase my credit limits so many times, but no response for this. Instead they had disconnected my out going line 2 times in late evening without any prior information as it had crossed my credit limit, because of which I had to suffer from many more problems during those time. And in both incidents immediately I tried to pay the bill through IVR option using my credit card, but failed because of their technical problems and providing me wrong information as follows;

                  Problem 1> In the first incident, my IVR option was coming in Kannad language, so I could not follow the steps as I do not know kannad, hence could not pay the bill through credit card but still they didn’t release the line even after realizing my problem and this IVR language problem was continuing for a long time and I had also complained so many times for this IVR language.

                  Problem 2> In second incident, the customer care executive guy told me to make a payment of Rs500/- and I did it, but still they didn’t release the line saying that amount was insufficient, but for which I was not at all responsible as they only provided me the wrong information.

                  To get back my connection that time I had to request them like anything till mid night, which was very very distasteful for me and hurt me too.

                  5> I am not able to make calls to customer care even because of their complicated IVR options. Earlier option 9 used to be there in the main menu for customer care, but now a days its not. I have to struggle for a long time to reach customer care, even when I ask customer care to give me exact sequence of numbers to reach customer care they are answerless.

                  6> From my experience, most of the time customer care executives are giving wrong information intentionally just to get rid of the customers.

                  This is the worst service I ever had.

                  2.many time - for 1 call , used to call atleast 3 times---- not solved

                  8.for not answered complaints were delayed to infinite---so far.
                  9.money deduction is not clear, some time only we get message and some time invisible.
                  10.the sms I get from Vodafone is a nuisance like to make customer rich, songs,.. love etc ( which I never required)

                  I considered this is most serious problem for the customers as well as country’s image.
                  And wasting customer’s money(most important).

                  I have been a customer of VODAFONE (erstwhile MAXTOUCH /ORANGE /HUTCH)for about 8 years now... In the past there have been times where I have not paid the amount due to them in time and have ended paying a penalty for it. The inability to pay has been purely due to my hectic schedule or blame it on my absent mindedness!

                  Ever since VODAFONE took over the services from HUTCH; trust me my life has become miserable; despite the fact that I have ensure the payment of due well before the due date!

                  First they automatically subscribe me to some caller tunes and charge me for it!
                  Then they automatically subscribe me to some SMS services and charge me for it!

                  Each time it has been a horrendous effort to make your way through the call center agents who are annoying most of the time! They just keep repeating themselves. But the positive side is, they boost your self esteem; at least you are not a parrot like they are!

                  Then came the worst, VODAFONE disconnected my services claiming that I had not paid the dues! To my fortune, I was traveling and had to hunt around for time and a cyber cafe to check my bank statement; hurray I seem to have paid them the amount!

                  Again the cycle of call center agents... but then remember it boosted my self esteem!

                  Finally sent them the payment details and got the services restored!

                  This has been going on for the last several months (ever since VODAFONE took over!)

                  The latest; last month Jan 15, 2008 I have paid the dues. However on the due date Jan 25, 2008 I get an SMS reminder asking me to pay up; realizing they have goofed again, I sent them the usual mail with all the transaction details; but VODAFONE deem fit to disconnect my services. On calling their call center, I gathered from the floor manager Sunil Pai that he is in receipt of the mail and did not bother to do nothing about it; instead when I call he tells me that I need to send him a facsimile of the bank statement!

                  LOL I guess I will not wait for the number portability, I will just get another number from another service provider!

                  Bless VODAFONE, do not curse them, remember they boost your self esteem!

                  I was working with a company last year, they provided postpaid vodafone connection, after few months i left that comapny and request that company to retain that vodafone no. i to my name, as i already have distributed my no. to many of my personal contacts, they (The Company) agreed and issued a NOC to me, Same I forwarded to vodafone store alongwith a request to transfer that ph. no. in to my name. they accepted the same, after that I regularly making payment for the monthly bills raised by the vodafone.                   Vodafone Postpaid Connection — Bad Customer care experience

                  This is chandra Shekar, and i like to say the worst experience that i have faced with vodafone cust care service. First of all they dont understand our concent, and we dont understand what they speak they r so poor in their english.
                  We need to wait for such a long time to connect with cust care center and then we dont get satisfied solutions from them. I had billing issues so i called cust care and spoke to Ms. Yasmeen and i told my concerd about the call, and so she started explaining something else apart from this issue. and when i asked her she was so arrogant with her words. It is really frustrated to cal and speak first plz change this otherwise everthing goes worst. I have so many other issues i am facing with this vodafone from past 2 years. I am really fed up of this planning to skid from this service. Whenever i make complain i dont get right solutions from the head who ever it is. They give us the reasons that we could not digest.

                  Myself taken new connection of Vodafone (Number - [protected]) from Dealer (Sec 22, Gurgaon) whose sales person was standing opposite to Maruti Gurgaon Gate number.

                  At the time of giving connection (One year Retal was told Rs, 500) and paid same amount in cash and received bill.

                  Vodafone — UP(E) Not updating of cash payment

                  Dear All

                  this is a very serious matter and request an immediate intervention in this case. Have been toiling hard for almost 10 days now but to no avail.

                  Had paid my bill of Rs. 1100/- cash via receipt number 805909 for my mobile number [protected]. The guy came to my house (he's been doing it for quite sometime now) and gave me the receipt after taking the money. The receipt dated 22/10/2008 bears the amount Rs. 1100/- and has a stamp of TOTAL SOLUTIONS on it.

                  The problem started when I continued to get calls on my mobile asking me to pay my September Outstanding since it was long overdue. I tried convincing them that the same had been paid, but nobody bought my logic. Now today, i went to Vodafone store at East End MALL in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow and the person on the Bill desk named 'Gaurav' blankly said that he can't help me with my last bills(already the counters at the relationship desks were 'Out of Network', again a problem with Vodafone whenever one visits them). He also directed me to the kiosk outside for payment of my outstandings in cash. I readily agreed to do it and went outside. Only to discover that the machine is a serious nuisance and a joke and returns note atleast 10 times before accepting it finally.

                  All in all, matter still stands unresolved as to my September payment which I paid on October 22, 2008. Would request you to solve this at the earliest. Also, its very sad that Gaurav(Bill Desk, East End Centre, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow) refused to let me know the name and Contact number for a person with whom I can speak on this case, even though I asked him many times over this. I fail to buy the point that Mobile Companies shall not give the names of Customer Centre Team Leader/ Manager even if asked consistently in regards to Customer Issues. Incase this is a practise, would request DoT or any other authority to look into this and put an end to the inconvenience thus caused to customer. The amount of harassment and mental tension that i had to undergo in last 10 days is simply not a joke!!

                  Incase I do not recieve a solution within 24 hours, will escalate this to other authorities.

                  Hi!

                  I took a Vodafone Post Paid connection on 13th Nov 2008. Since then I was unable to make call to a particular landline number. Infact any landline number in that city. I registered a complaint calling the helpline. The complaint number is[protected]. I was told that this will corrected and it will take almost 20 days. I was surprised to know the speed of service. Anyways, on 20th I recieved a SMS that the complaint has been closed, but still I was unable to call the number for which I registered the complaint. How can Vodafone close my complaint without my consent. This is really rediculous. This shows no care for the cutomers.

                  I planned to return the connection and I visited vodafone center at Menhdipatnam and while talking to the representative I was ensured that this problem will be resolved within 3 days. It has been a week since then and the matter is pending. No body from vodafone give a damn care to even call me to check the status of the problem or update me on this. I really feel bad about the companies attitude towards customers in our country. They only care to make costly adds from money out of our pocket - "Where ever you go our network follows", but we will not be able to make calls using their network.

                  I don't whether writing here is useful or not but still I look forward something can be done to improve their attitude because customer care starts first from attitude.

                  My complain is why the airtel has increased my credit limit without my consent, whereas I am being a customer atleast they should take my permission and they should increase my credit limit . Even after contact to customer care they simply denied to decrease my limit as they say this is the company norms and depends on the customer usage, the limit is credit increased. But I think this is cheating, company is not going to pay on my behalf whereas i have to pay by my pocket, i am sure this is not a fair deal rather this is cheating and further i will not use airtel as they not serve the customer rather cheat customer, , i am shocked and angry when the customer care dont want to decrease my credit limt., , , kindly do the needful so that my credit limt decrease.

There is no prior intimation or communication to me before disconnection from any of your customer care executive. Even the repose from vodaphone teleservice customer care as well as vodaphone gallery customer care was not favorable. There is no satisfactory response from any level.

                  prepaid to post paid — arrogant behaviour of service personnel at service centres

                  Myself is imran mulla and i m representing my aunt over here .we are from sangli city in sangli district in maharshtra.She had purchased a pre paid vodaphone no [protected] .due to heavy calling we used to recharge frequently.one fine morning we recieved a call from vodafone call centre suggesting us to convert from existing prepaid to post one (budget plan 225 ).We approached the local service centre accordingly.informed them accordingly and completed the formalities like submission of required documents for the conversion process. after a week or so we recieved a call from verification personnel that he was supposed to visit our residence for verification.but as aunt had gone to our nearby native village to look after our agri farm related works we asked him to visit later or verify by visiting over there. he agreed to visit later.later when aunt returned back we followed up at service centre repeatedly for verification.but the response was very unwelcoming.After weeks passed the verificcation personnel visited and collected the documents required. after that no response for weeks .we followed up asking about status.the personnel answered that they needed reverification.the personnel visited twice after that and colleced papers thrice allogether but all in vain.we havent recieved any response regarding the conversion.when we finally approached the service centre at sangli asking for final status they literally pushed us out of the centre misbehaved with us and told us that we could not pass the verification process and they are not liable to give us a post paid connection. the arrogance rose to such a level that when asked about for their reply in writing they were not ready for the same and asked to complain whereever we want.i m going to file a complaint of misbehaviour at local police station and file a suit in court of law for insulting us by complaining that we havent passed the verification as they have discovered it in the process that we cannot pay the bills. let me mention over here that i have purchased two idea nos after that [protected], [protected] and am paying bills amounting to 2500 per month.my aunt is retired teacher and recieves govt pension amounting to 7000 per month in addition income from other sources amounting 10000 per month. this is ridiculous and i expect the vodaphone authorities to take cognizance of same failing which they will have to face the law suit.

                  EXACTLY THE SAME PROBLEM! AT CUSTOMER CARE PHONE LINE 111 AND IN VODAFONE SHOPS THEY SIMPLY DENY THAT THIS PROBLEM IS EXIST AND SAYING THAT PROBLEM IS WITH MY HANDSET BUT IT WORKS PERFECRLY WELL WITH OTHER OPERATORS SIM-CARDS!

Dealers given me full survice & well come note at the time of conversion . Same is asked to Abishek at Vodapone shop . He assured mewill be delivered soon & marked has been given in my system reqt.                   On January 2009, I had visited couple of countries. As such I got ISD roaming from Salt lake city Center office of Vodafone some time during last week of Jan.
                  While insisting the executive to give me calling rates, I was not given any idea of the price that I would have to pay for the ISD.
                  When I was in Switzerland (only 4 days later) I got a SMS to pay five thousand out of Rs 9000 already billed for.
                  I was sad for making me black out of any information before hand about the rates.Later I used only calling cards during my visit in the USA which is very cheap.
                  I am now very upset with my vodafone connection where I am dedicated and continuing my connection for more than 10 years.

                  I had a vodafone post paid number till last night i.e. 31/03/2009.
                  When i woke up today the sim wasn't working. i checked with the Vodafone center at thakur village and the customer service lady made me wait a good 15 minutes while she consulted her seniors.

                  Then she asked me whether the mobile number was being used for tele marketing purpose to which i refused. She wanted me to give in writing that the number isn't used ffor tele marketing purposes.
                  Instead of giving such a baseless letter i found it better to discontinue the phone.

                  I realised after seeing the current bill that i had used the number very sparsely for making calls. I had made use of the 10 ps / sms scheme most of the time. But it was never ever used for tele marketing.

                  Would like to know from Vodafone authorities how they have came to this assumption.

                  Or do they feel that the customer who isn't using the phone connection for calling is of no use.

                  I got a wrong information on one Postpaid plan on behalf of my existing number that is [protected], I got a call from one of Caller(named Atul phone number - [protected]) from Vodafone, he gave me information that we are offering a plan to you in which he gave me following details:

                  1) One postpaid number(the number offered is [protected]) that would be zero Rental that is given on trial basis(you do't have to pay any rent in first month).
                  2) You will get 350 local minutes free on any mobile.
                  3) You will get 12.5 % discount on your existing number and 10 paise local call on Vodafone numbers whether you continue with new number or not.
                  4) When I confirmed to that caller to send the executive to provide me SIM at that time he told me that you need to deposit 250 Rs security.
                  5) Till that times I gave Rs 250, i got all the wrong information.
                  6) But once I gave money, I got verification calls but they told me that no such plans exist.
                  7) No body gave me good response after getting the money, I came to know that it was 249 Rs Rental plan.

If you want money then executive will come and if the information is wrong then why we have to suffer for 45 days to get the money back.
                  9) Every time I get a call, I am getting a new information.
                  10) Your executive can come for getting the money, but if you have cheated the customer, then why any one can't come back to return the money back.
                  11) Your caller gave me a wrong number that he described as his personal number.
                  12) When I am giving return calls, calls are being disconnected.
                  13) On verification, one of your Representative(Name Vivek - number - [protected]) convinced me that you dont have to pay any rent in first month and your security will be refundable in first bill.

                  If I am not getting my money back, I will strictly take a legal action and fire a case in the consumer court for giving a fraud information to me.
                  i am very unsatisfied with vodaphone postpaid connection, i am getting huge bill though there is a less usage, last month i made a point to vodaphone to send itemised bill in that i have only 23 Rs usage but my bill is 410 Rs, when i asked for company to shift my plan from postpaid to prepaid they said they dont have this faciliteis and i cant change my number, so please take some decision towards this so that they have facilities from postpaid to prepaid or prepaid to postpaid any number of time...

                  On 10/4/09 I lost my mobil, I contacted Vodafone Service Center, Shalimar Bagh, Delhi on 15/4/09 and requested to discontinue my prepaid connection No. [protected] immediately and further this number may be activated in Post paid in my favour. I again submitted all necessary documents and Rs.500/- for life time scheme.
                  The officer who attended my call has been assured me that it would be activated with in 2 days. Now 6 day have been passed but there is no response from your company. However physical verification at my residence have been carried out twice by your staff and 2 times on telephone. Despite these, the telephone connection is not activated so far your poor quality of service. I am so much surprised by seeing your poor quality service. Now I am also worried to get connected with your company for life time.

                  Vodafone Post Paid Cellular Connection — Disconnection despite being bill amount paid

                  I was a regular and 'esteemed' customer of Vodafone Post Paid cellular service in Kerala. I was given a credit limit of Rs 1500 for a security deposit of Rs 500 due to regular payment of my bills. But despite being paid the bill of month of March -2009 and also my usage was well under the credit limit, my line was disconnected on 21st April. I had made the payment of the bill on 12th April. I had also made complaints to customer service center regarding non-credit of my amount. Infact their executives called me numerous times and I told them about the payment of bills with the transaction Id. These all happened when I was in roaming in Bangalore. I had to pay roaming charges for all calls to customer service centers and also for all incoming calls from them.

                  On 21st, the sim was deactivated without any information.

                  29/04/09 was my bill due date, so not to have any fine and all, I paid my bills on 28/04/09. Few days later I got calls that I haven't paid the bills for last month and if I had already paid the amount raise a complaint to customer care so that they will investigate.I did it on 5/5/09. I gave them all details and bank account summary for that transaction, mailed the vodafonecare, their nodal officer regarding all the details, still no luck. I am getting calls on calls for this issue but every time I have been asked to pay the amount. I told them as usual I had paid it online and in time. I have the records from my bank that the amount is deducted from my account to Techprocess Solutions LTD, which is the vodafone account.

                  The Happy to Help People are infact happy to Rip Off. I had heard about mobile phone companies ripping of theri customers and felt i was lucky. Since i was moving out of bangalore. I went to the Vodafone customer care center in Indira nagar and reported o desk 3 after wating for 1/2 Hour ( They make u wait that much for cancellation as Desk 3 handles that only) . As guided by the Happy to Hell Respresentative i paid the amount via my credit card. When i asked for the acknowledgement he siad it not necessary..its registered in our computers. I left and voila after 1 month here comes the first bill... with all the nice details 0 calls, but other charges included... i sent a mail and comes the rely that they didint get any request from my side... ??? ... how easy to say that i dont have an acknowledgement... When i call the Call center - - - they simply transfer my calls and no one answers or simply disconnected...as for complaints i have dial a separate number after i dial the help line. I got frustrated... and finaly told the helpline that who will pay my travelling expense...he simply said ..go back to he customer center and they will help you... yeah right... this time icancel i get an acknowledgement and i dont pay the extra amount what ever may come.

                  Vodafone Post paid service — Vodafone Postpaid Bill Details Mismatch

                  I have received the Vodafone Post paid bill for the month of May 2009 from vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com. The bill shows roaming charges of Rs 545.51 on the first page and the same roaming charges is dispalyed on the second page of the bill for the amount of Rs 1057.20. The sumarry of current charges sum total values is also wrong if Rs 545.51 is taken into consideration.
                  I have been losing credit off my Vodafone Sony Ericsson K618. I have been checking and can confirm that I lose credit without touching the phone - receiving anything etc. Please let me know what I must do to solve the problem and reclaim my lost credit which I estimate to be £45 in the last year.

                  Respected sir's my name is Varun Tyagi, Resident of C-27 Dilshad Colony, Behined bank of baroda ATM. I took a post paid connection from VODAFONE on 6th July 2009, Number:- +91-[protected]. I was told by the executive in Ministore that number will be activated in 24 to 72 HRS. Number was not activated but i found out that the number is sold to another person living in SHAHADRA for some extra money. VODAFONE took Rs: 500 as the security deposit from me.(I have the original copy of reciet).

                  My concern is that how can these MNC companies fool consumers and sell numbers like a bid. Single number can not be sold to multiple customers.

                  I request you to look into this matter and please help me out as i don know weather i will get my security money back or not.

                  Worse things the customer care is so bad, they are not willing to help me out, instead they jus dissconnect the phone while talking. I had a word with a supervisor in VODAFONE named:- Ahmed. He dissconnected my call and never called back. I don even know what will these people do with my documents i gave them. Scared that these docs might fall in wrong hands, and i could get into trouble.

                  I got the Vodafone postpaid connection Few monthes before.the gave me the first bill of Rs.904.I paid this bill by DD and corier it to the address given in the bill.After some days the vodafone Send me the Payment Reciving message on my mobile.After some days the officer called me and told me that they have not got the payment, then i go to the centre which is in our city (Jhansi)ADDRESS:In front of Pramod petrol pump, elite chaurah, Jhansi.I went to the office show the Draft which is present in there office itselfbecause i have notised the draft in the office.after that thw paymet has been credited to my account.After 1 or2 monthes when we r out of station we got the call in the roming from Vodafone that the draft provided by us has been lost by the Vodafone or the Bank so kindly provide the Duplicate.i told the whole procedure of getting the duplicate draft it is issued by the bank but the endebity bond is signed by the person who loose.

                  the neglect the procedure and told us for re payment either by duplicate drafte or any way.The added the Rs.904 to the unbilled amount again.I have got the limit of 1500.


                  Well its between the Bank and the Vodafone.I completed my job of payment, then i suffer for this problem.

                  is it my mistake that we have not got the bill at our home, now the vodafone is adding the 100 rs late payment to the Rs904(Ist bill amount)=1005 and the 100rs late payment to the bill of June.


                  why shoul I pay the useless bill amount and the first bill again.

It is very surperising that in the last two months an amount of Rs.30/- per month has been deducted from my available mobile balance. It is not clear to me that how the said charges has been deducted without my consent. I contacted to 111, but your reprensentative in the service centre could not satisfy my quiry. I told to the represtative in your service centre that if the same practice is being continued regularly, I would have no other alternative rather to complain to the higher authority. But it is very socking that your reprensentative has uttered that " you can do whatever you like". Such type of behaviour is not at all expected from a reputed company.
                    I like to draw your attention in this matter and I hope that such type of disturbance is being discontinued in future.

                    Vodafone — Balance have been deducted without my consent

                    Dear Team,
                    This is to bring into your kind notice that my sister is using a prepaid connection of VODAFONE i.e. [protected].
                    "N" Number of times balance for her account has been deducted. Whenever she recharged her phone, her balance gets deducted itself. Thereafter she told me the instances.

                    Whenever she recieves OBD Call from Vodafone, she disconnects the call, automatically Rs. 30 gets deducted from her account and some other VAS servces gets activated on her account without her consent.

                    When i marked the mail to the customercare/Nodal officer/Appellate, they don't respond positively and responds me in a way that reversal of charges is not possible because i have not lodged the complaint earlier or within 48 hrs of the services activation.
                    I must tell you that my sister has just purchase the new connection and are not very much aware about the prepaid connection, so somehow she did not raise any complaint regarding the same.

                    Yesterday as well, her balance for unknown services has been deducted now i.e. on Friday.

                    Vodafone is loosing their image and making fool of their customer just to generate revenue from any source. Hence i request you to kindly help me to get my money refund.

                        I am one of the oldest customers when BPL cellular was incorporated in kerala one of the few first customer.

                        I have been making numerous complaints regarding my billing for the last couple of months. Each time there will be extra charged amount then when I make numerous calls to customer care service they will waive the extra charged amount. It starts from the month of JULY till this billing month. Every month I have to scrutinize the billing statement then make calls to customer care. This has been my worst experience from a reputed cellular company. This month too i have even been over charged.
                        All these months i had calls to Customer Care Service send emails to nodal officer no response each time they will waive the over charged amount. I have even been charged Rs 100/ late fee for the month of November but I paid the amount before due date on 19 th November

                        Today 14/12/2007 i had a bitter experience regarding Mr. Girish of appellate authority he talked very rudely as he was in no way listening my grievances. Authorities should have the decency to listen to the grievances of a customer because “customers make company"

                        This is cheating the customer of his money.

                        I have been using my vodafoen connection (previously BPL-Mobie) since 2006. That day when i applied for the connection i submitted all the required documents. Now they are telling that i didnt submittted none of the documents and they are going to diconnect my connection on Jan 27th. For the past three years why they didnt notice this. Why they didnt inform me abt this. I think they lost all the documents that i submitted and again they are telling me to submitt it again. They are making fun of the customers.

                          I purchased a 6 years validity SIM from Vodafone, Karur. After my talk time is over , I send Rs 200 for TOP UP my talk time. By mistake vodafone franchise ( where I purchased )people had done Re charged for Rs 200. Now my validity time has changed. When I checked with Vodafone shop, They say that it canot be changed to my original validity time.

                          In this what is the mistake I did. Even by mistake they recharged, why a 6 year validity should change.

                          I am customer of Vodafone. I have activated message Booster pack and have some querries regarding it. Yesterday evening on 13 October 2009 I received a message from Customer care (Vodafone Company) that 50 paisa for local sms, Rs 1.50/. for national sms, Rs 5/- for International sms will be charged for “Diwali” in India. I’m not against these changes but will my Booster pack validity be extended for two days from the date of expire?
                          As in India many religions and many festivals fall – If for all festivals messages will be charged, it is inconvenient for me and all so other customers those are under sms booster pack.

                            I have a very bad experiance with Vodafone. they are useless and having no respect for customers time and money.

                            Last five months I have not ben served my bill statement. every month their girls calls on mobile threatening to stop the services unless the amount they state are paid. I kept on paying to avoid disconnection.

                            Still today I ahave not got bill statement. Unless I have bill statement my company doesn't pay me my bill. thus i have not been paid my mobile bill by my company because vodafone didnot give me bill statement and receipt of the bills.

                              I am Sanjay Nehru from Lucknow. This is my third instance of getting problem after the taking over of Hutch from Vodaphone.
                              In the month of November 11th of 12th I had got my phone recharged with a top of Rs.200/- for which I got an maount of Rs.99/- On making a call on 13th at [protected] I spoke to Mr.Ravindr Kumar at 8.00 PM who replied me that nothing is in his control and the problem would be rectified from the Vodaphone office at Shahnajaf Road. On my visit to vodaphone office I was replied that I had downloaded a pack of HUNGAMA thorugh GPRS for which Rs.100/- were deducted. I asked them that how it was down loaded when my GPRS is not working and when the required balance was not in my account. They replied me by saying that we would forward your complaint for this. Again I requested them to let me meet some higher official, but the young lady replied I am the person who is heading this branch.

                              Again on 15th December I had made a call on vodaphone no. at 11.37 for 26 sec. and the balance after the call was Rs. 12.39 but suddenly after few minutes I received a repeat service reply that my balance after last call is Rs.6.43.
                              Now GOD knows that where and how an amount of Rs.5.96 has gone?
                              Who is going to pay for all this mischief ? Should I surrender the number and switchover to another service provider?

                              There is a vodafone number [protected] which has been surrendered and utstanding of 1600 at the esnd was paid completely.Still i am getting calls to pay the bill.is this the service that i get, You vda store at Rajiv Chowk says that they have lost the form .
                              I am not liable for any bill and there is no usage .Please check and get me rid of all this urgently

                              Dear Sir/Madam,
                              I had put ab 2G internet pack on my number and after which i got confirmation from the vodafone that your pack is activated and the balance available. After which within an hour they have deducted an amount of Rs.65 from my account. For the same when i contacted customer care their 1st reply was it was cause i have done some chargeble download from the internet which is untrue ans when i argued on that they told its cause i have downloaded within 4 hours f activating the internet pack.
                              Vodafone people need to answer where they have mentioned anywhere that the pack gets 4 hours to get activate. If its there it should inform the customer immidiatly after customer put this pack. If they dont then they are wrong on their side and they must refund customer all the money they deducted on this false ground.

                                I bought a new vodafone prepaid connection for rs.295 with the schemes that i would be getting 3 months validty, 1500 local sms free, 300 min vodafone to vodafone free, n 25rs talktime n 5 family n friends no. On which i can make calls at half rate... N the expiry date of the connection was 28 june 2008 that means i could have got that connection activated by that date...
                                But when i got my connection activated from vodafone store at nirman vihar on 10 dec i was shocked to see that i only got 2rs as talktime instead of 25rs n only 1 day validity instead of 3 months & there were no other schemes which i mentioned above.
                                N when i contacted the customer care i was told that the schemes have been withdrawn & now u will not get any of these schemes.
                                I want to ask that is it right on the part of the company to not give the schemes for which the customer has bought the connection???
                                N how can they say that only the connections activated before 3 dec have got these schemes!!!

                                This is really unfair because for a customer like me that connection is of no use now & my hard earned money has been wasted just because of this ridiculous plicy of the company!!

                                Plz do something for consumers like me!!!

                                I am consumer of Essar after that Hutch and now Vodafone since 2001. But after coming vodafone instead of Hutch I am totally confused that what is the solution of this no.. Because I had given this no to all of my nears and dears all over world they use to call me on this no. I think that TRAI have to take decision early that "WE CAN CHANGE SERVICE PROVIDER RATHER THAN THE NO" The services of Vodafone is pathetic. Whenever I make a call to customer care than its takes around 1 to 2 hrs. to connect. After that it will be your good luck that you will not be dissconnected automatically. When I contacted to the senior officials of the customer care regarding this they replied that there are a lot of consumers in que. I don't know that It is my/consumer's problem that they have a lot of consumers in the que. If I don't have time 2 hrs than it means I can't talk to customer care regarding my problem. If they can't give the satisfactory services to their consumers they have to close their shop. There are a lot of service providers in this industry who are giving the best services. I will suggest that TRAI have to give a clear ultimate to these companies that if they will not satisfy to their customers, they have to close their shops. I think the Vodafone only wants to make the money from India and not more than that. Vodafone is making mistake to compare us before freedom time.

But My number was recharged with Rs. 267 and when I called up customer care number 111 on 20/02/08 and talked with female Customer care, She told me that the balance money would be transferred to my number within 24 hrs . unfortunately I did not get balance talktime on my number and when I dialed again toll free number 111 on 21/02/08 and spoke with care executive sharad who disconnected the call when I asked him to transfer his call to his team leader and again spoke with ashwani (under team leader Amit Bhandari team). They told that my number [protected] is not eligible for this kind of scheme.

                                Now could you explain why I am getting this messages and why you are making fool to customer by sending wrong message. As I have recharged with Rs 300 as I have got message which I have not deleted so far,

                                what u people are doing there? u r doing customer care or simply doing fraud? i phoned thru customer care more than 10 times, but till my problem didnt solve, i[censored]r activities and service is not linear, u cant satisfy ur customers, ur customer care officers also simply balance and try to cheat others. then hw the customer will manage with ur vodafon simcards? i need proper answer from u, otherwise i will take further step regarding ur irregularities, and misbehavior.
                                also most of our student communities of iit delhi are refusing ur customer care, we people are talking day by day about ur irresponsibilities. also the day that they will change from ur simcards to other simcard is not so distance, they are trying to change their simcards and we are talking to our other friends to change the vodafone simcards.

                                this is my problem,

                                I have vodafone prepaid connection, I bought another prepaid connection from vodafone to my mother so that we can get connected through family and friends. The call is getting cut automatically after I give the confirmation. This is very bad and still i am spending more amount. For this I could have bought some other connection and have enjoyed the same family and friends option. More worry I am not sure what needs to be done for this. Anybody aware of how to resolve this issue.

                                Just fifteen minute ago i foned to nepal to with family. I was very gareful for time consumption. I talked just two minutes and not one second more but my prepaid money was cut for three minutes. I surprised that why Vodafone has made such type of luting police. vodafone is looting cunsumers day by day by doing such type of activities. I have another experience with Vodafone. Last month I bought a world calling card. I recharge it as mentioned in the card but never could talk with friends who are living abord. What happened with this card, you know when I dailed any international number the ring tone had gone but reply was without voice (no voice no talk). I searched local vodafone customer care centre and went there but that fellow whowas say working there did nothing. I became very frusted and return back. These are the some examples of pre-plained luting police of Vodafone. The question you may do "Why you are using Vodafone? The answer is I have paid money for one year validity. If I through the sim of Vodafone I will loss that money also.

                                yes i can say that fodafone is the worse service provider, infact they cheat the customer a lots!when you call up the customer care service it take more than 3hrs to connect and on top as soon as they received the complain they will put you on hold and disconnect the line, cces are very rude, here why iam saying that vodafone is cheating, whenever i make enquiery regarding how much they charge international sms, they said that rs-5/-per sms but most of the time they take rs-7-8 per sms!now iam just waiting for my validity period to be finished to use another service :-)

But last month vodafone changed my plan from 333 to 280 monthly rent. i come to know after my bill recieved.                                 I was a Vodafone prepaid user, I was approached by vodafone officers on phone and forced to change from Pre-Paid to Post-Paid. I was lured by the offer specified below.
                                I agreed to change only because I was given 600min of free talk to any no. and 30ps per sms.

                                But on activation, I was surprised to see that the talk plan says some other plan and on checking the details on the myvodafone site, it says "system error"

                                On calling, I was horrified to know that the plan that was sold to me didnt exist, and I was suggested some other plan which didnt make any sense in me moving to Post Paid.

                                Now Vodafone says they can't revert my no. back to prepaid, nor can they activate the offer that they sold to me.

                                Please help.

                                Offer i was given under the corporate plan...
                                Rs 249 monthly + Rs 99 for free sms's
                                First 600 min to any no. is free.
                                First 200 sms is free after which its 30ps per sms
                                For Rs99 I get Rs 300 worth sms, which is 1000 sms free.
                                This I was told was some corp249 plan.

                                I bought post paid connection in Delhi last month & to activate roaming from out of delhi, I called help line-[protected] & after so many attempt I was able to speak to their executive, who has given me complaine number [protected] on 16th may, till date there is no response.I E-mail to their customer care & all I got is automatic generated mail & then no response.Tried to call thier nodel officer at [protected] & all the time its in switch off mode.Then I called [protected], no response. Called their mumbai office[protected] & requested them to give me their delhi office number & they have give[protected] on contacting them, they say we only look UP(W) & they dont know delhi office number, even mumbai office dont have the delhi office number.Its worthless service by them. And its reminds me of the advertisement in all TV channels all the time & now I understood who is they symbolise " PUG" its the customer.

                                I am a postpaid vodafone customer of 444 plan for more than one year. I lost my SIM card and get a new SIM card of the same no.([protected]) from Noida (Atta market, sector 18) office on May 14. They told that my SIM card will get activated in 2-4 hours. They charged Rs. 99 for new SIM card. Today is May 22 and my SIM card is not activated. Every time I call to vodafone customer care, they say your request is in process and your SIM card will get activated in 2 hours. I don't know when this 2 hours will be completed.

                                At last I decided to dump the SIM card and got a new connection from other service provider. However I don't want to change my contact no.

                                Vodafone is making fool to people. Let take this example -

                                Vodafone has made all STD calls @ Rs. 1.30 per minute without any tariff but the user have to send an sms STD to 56565 otherwise they will charge Rs. 2.65
                                And they are advertising for LOCAL and STD both @ Rs. 1 (with Rs. 31 per month rental) what the [censored] is this. without tariff the call rates are Local @ Rs. 1 and STD @ Rs. 1.30 per minute. They are not advertising this.

                                Well I am using Tata Postpaid connection from the Last 3 years and pleased to say that the service is very good.

                                really its very true vodafone provides ridiculous serices ... few days back i applied for postpaid connestion i paid amount through check date was 10th july today is 7th i just chk my account what i saw amount has been deducted frm my account it means they are not reliable...their sales exicutives are not trained even they dont have complete knowledge about their product whatever they are selling. some of the time they are talking in a sach manner like customer's are their servent...now i started thinking like is vodafone hire literate ppl in their organization. or hire illiterate ppl who dont know how to talk to anyone..they are really ******..

                                I had a vodafone connection in Delhi, few months back i moved to Mumbai and started paying the bills for that no. ([protected]) in Mumbai at Peninsula Tower, Lower Parel office through debit card then i realised that i am being billed for that amount which i have already paid in Mumbai.
                                Idont understand if they have such disconnect between Mumbai Delhi in terms of payment and their software they should't have accepted the payment.
                                When i tried finding it from their customer care no one is there to help from Mumbai and i did not go to Delhi ever since.

                                Vodafone/Hutch Lifetime connection — No Hutch Care officer is attending my Call

                                I have a lifetime connection with Hutch/Vodafone. Presently I am staying at Delhi and I am using Hutch/Vodafore connection last three year. Recently I have to move Kolkata permanently. I would like to transfer my connection to kolkata. How to do it, to know that I had tried many time to talk with hutch care officier at [protected] . After putting a lots of impute I have to listen 30 minute extended music . Their is no so call hutch care official .
                                I purchased a new Vodafone prepaid connection on 6th November 2008 from a Vodafone store located at Shahpur Jat, New Delhi. I used the Vodafone network for 8 days, then got a SMSs mentioning that my incoming and outgoing will be suspended due to non receipt of my document. I already submitted my document at the time of purchasing the SIM card but I did not receive any verification call from the Vodafone network and thus my connection has been terminated. I contacted the Vodafone store a numerous times and they kept assuring me that my vodafone no. will work again in a few period of time. Still my phone is not working and this is a complete harassment.
                                I have been using a hutch/vodafone connection for the past 4 years.
                                Things were smooth till it was hutch, i have faced many problems after vodafone came into the picture.
                                I have a post paid connection.
                                Recently my mom (also a vodafone user for the past 4 years) had her outgoing facility blocked coz her unbilled usage had exceeded the credit limit, we asked them how much is it and we were shocked to know the amount...it is 18000 rs.!!!
                                That too for just 14 days (2 nov - 16 nov).!!
                                So we thought there must be some mistake and gave an application to deactivate the number since we cant get any details till the month gets over (2 dec).
                                I got curious and checked MY unbilled usage for the same period today and got the shock of my life...they are sayin that its rs 29000.!!!
                                I asked them to check there records, our bills have ALWAYS been in the range of 2-3k so this is just not possible.!
                                Got the same reply again that they cannot do anything till i get my bill on 3rd dec.
                                We are gonna change over to some other service provider FOR SURE but we want to know who is responsible for this and if vodafone wants we take take this to the court.

I thought that he was asking me 'what?' and I asked him again a few times. He repeated the same thing again and again. Then only I realized that he was making fun of me. I asked him whether he was making fubn of me. He laughed 'big'. Then only I realized that he was deliberately doing this. I called again and with great difficulties, I could speak t ohis supervisor. He never seemed to realize the impact and his answers were very vague. I intend changing my entire office service provider now.

                                Essar Vodafone Customer Care service levels have come down even after the transition from Hutch. I would say bad to “A little more bad”. The service provides have been putting in their best effort by telling "Happy to Help You" rather than making their customers feel “How good they are to help.

                                The standard verbiage remains “We will get back to you within 72 hrs”. If they do get back you are Oye Lucky. If no you may need a lot of patience – Reason Interaction Notes on CRM are either not complete or appropriate in many cases. If you make it a point to remind them to enter the appropriate notes, you may find a way to your problem soon.

                                Recently I called Vodafone customer service in Delhi to reconfirm if my Voice Mail Service has been deactivated or not which was requested and confirmed by Mumbai customer care. I was surprised to find it was still active.

                                When I requested them to deactivate the same in Delhi, Delhi customer Care told me of their limited access to my account as I was in roaming, they will not be in a position to assist me and I will have to call Mumbai Customer Care, which is a charged call if you are in roaming. However I ensured that the executive puts in all relevant points in his interaction notes to avoid time and money.

                                I did wonder how a service provider can speak different language and also have a different system that may not synchronise with Mumbai CRM. But many things are possible especially when one is going through recession.

                                I had no choice but to call Mumbai Customer Care as directed over a charged call.

                                I was patient enough to hold the line for 25 minutes till the he Supervisor comes on line, promptly apologising for the delay. To avoid any further charges on the call, I asked the executive to check the last interaction notes and he happily said yes I have put in a complaint regarding GPRS. Though surprised, I felt it was wise to put in a request once again and tell him to ensure that the service order is goes through immediately and my voice mail services is deactivated immediately.

                                The job profile of Vodafone Brand Ambassador (the cute little Pug – Spike) has changed from Network Services to Customer Car. So has the Position been assigned to Spike from his father Figaro who used to look after their network services. There could be a possibility if the Work Profile of the Vodafone Dog changes to Quality or collection due to recession soon.

                                I am sure all the Nodal Officers and Appellate Authorities, Supervisors. Team Leaders and Floor managers, need to brush up their training once again as in many a times information given by them could be more misleading than the executives.

                                A customer however has limited choice but to wait till MNP (Mobile Number Portability) is implemented if he wants to retain his same identity of No. and wants the flexibility to go to another service provider.

                                I took a vodaphone post paid connection from a mini store, new friends colony. I was told that initially the number will work as prepaid but after verification within 72 hrs the same will be convert into postpaid connection. I has 222 scheme. But it is going to be a week and verification has also been done on call and visiting my residence. The person also called and told me that everything is ok and your number is active now as post paid. But when I insert my sim into the handset, it shows unregistered sim. I am also unable to reach to the mini store or customer care executive. I am in trouble as I have no number for communication.
                                I am worried about this vodaphone hail service what they care about thier customer. Can anybody will let me know any mobile or landline number through which I can contact vodaphone regarding my problem.                                 i have visited Vodafone Helpdesk Center @ HyperCity Malad wherein still my issue is not resolved
                                At times i get a credit and Roaming Free gets activated but again in next month i am charged for the same, ,

                                there is some unwanted service activated on my mobile which keeps on deducting 3 rs every day unnecessary.
                                I called three times..

                                1st time a women gave me wrong code to MSG on 144, which do not worked.
                                2nd time a man gave me another wrong code to message on 144 which also not worked.
                                3rd time, i asked the person to deactivate the service himself. He said it will be deactivated in 24 hrs. I received a message also saying that the service will be deactivated. This is third day from then and the service is still not deactivated and, still 3rs are getting deducted from my balance every day.

                                Now when i am trying to call to customer care using number 111, it is again and again directing me to unwanted options and even after selecting 119, its is returning to main menu and not directing to any customer care executive to talk to. I tried yesterday evening and today morning also.

                                This is clearly a trick to keep on deducting money from the balance.

                                Please act on this ASAP

                                I am highly troubled by your team. I thought i am a good consumer for you on behalf of my heavy bills and regular payments which you can also of course check and see.
                                But in my last days in India, I had visited your contact points twice, once in gurgaon and once in kurukshetra to pay off my pending bills and close down the number or convert it to some prepaid account, but your team there never supported me. They only asked me for a resident proof that I never had but you can see the loyalty of the consumer by his usage and payment history but sad to say, none was given any weightage even on my own visit to your stores.
                                Now i have left India and probably for an indefinite period of time that can range from 1-5 years span.
                                What I would still like to do is that:
                                1. send me my pending bills online so that I can check them and make a payment.
                                2. payment would be made without any late fee charges or interest or fines.
                                3. letter of confirmation that the account is finally settled and no dues are pending henceforth with this account.
                                4. and that this number would be converted to a pre paid connection in my name which I would be able to use whenever i return to Delhi.

                                I donot want to end up this long relationship with vodafone with a bad note and seek your support to clear the matter off.

                                Vodafone — not activating the plan after did recharge

                                hi good afternoon sir.
                                my name is khursheed a matte from belgaum.
                                i got ditched by cellular sarvice provider vodafone karnataka.
                                i recharged on 08/11/2010 of rupees 699.
                                but till now i am not able to get benifit of that plan
                                i spoked with customer care executives many times and got the complaint no also.

                                Vodafone — Scam on collecting 50 paisa

                                I have been having Internet connection issues on my Vodafone mobile for last two days. This morning I called 198 since that is what the website says to call for complaints. Doing that the customer service rep tells me to call 111. Calling 111 they charge you 50 paisa and when you ask them why they are charging 50 paisa they tell you to call 198.
                                It is not about 50 paisa but it is more of Vodafone practices that seems like a big scam.
                                Is there anyone else that feel like this is happening. Please voice your opinion.

                                Q-3: Kya apko Govt. ne aadesh dia h kya ki agar kisi ka no chori ho jata h to aap use 1month bandrakhne k baad bina kisi request k dobara activate kar de??Agr aisa h to uski photocopy muje mail kare.

                                  with regsrds i want to say that i am not satisfied with Vodafone connection which i have, which i am using No [protected].
                                  Following are my complaints
                                  1/Changed of caller tune without permission (complaint no.[protected]th of dec 2007)
                                  2/unlimitted useless calls from VODAFONE
                                  3/unlimitted useless messages from VODFONE
                                  4/recharged STD pack of 79 but coldnt get the benefit, STD calls are still @RS 2.60. (My new complaint).

                                  Looking good responses in future.


                                  So now tell me the solution. Here we are hundreds of students having VODAFONE connnection....

                                  We think we should quit VODAFONE now.

                                  there is no code or means by which you can find out validity of your bonus card except customer care which is always busy or suffers 4m poor connectivity . I by mistake got my mobile charged with another bonus card (rs. 69) when my previous card( same rs.69 card) was NOT expired . i just want to know now what will happen

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  with regsrds i want to say that i am not satisfied with Vodafone connection which i have, which i am using No [protected].
                                  Following are my complaints
                                  1>Changed of caller tune without any information or permission. Then deducted the charge for caller tune
                                  activation. When the caller tune activated immediately I deactivate the service by "CAN CT" to 144 and
                                  also the got the deactivation confirmation from Vodafone. But my balance not been updated. It is a
                                  fully cheating service.

                                  2>Unlimitted useless calls from VODAFONE for select caller tunes
                                  3>Unlimitted useless messages from VODFONE like VK-offer/free tone/movie/ganabolo etc.

                                  Looking good responses in future. So now tell me the solution. We have huge corporate connection of
                                  Vodafone.

                                  We think we should quit VODAFONE now.

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  I am regular customer of Vodafone and have many of numbers with me. But This is the complaint for Mobile No.-[protected] which is now disconnected. In this number, this was earlier purchased from Sant Nagar East of Kailash, but from last long time from Feb-May, My brother was out of station and not used this, so I requested to close this number to Mini Store (Sant Nagar) many of time but nobody Listen and denied to close this number. This results I pay bill without using number and In Month May, I used some talktime and request to close connection permanently and wasted half day for this operation.
                                  Service in this store is very poor by all executives, they didnot listen to customers.

                                  During close of connection, extra charges are also taken without giving any details, so I again visit the Store as on Aug.19, 2009. I requested again for settlement and waste my 2 hours in store. Nobody Give details of settlement and also denied for duplicate copy of previous bill as hard copy and Soft copy. They insult me in front of many of persons.

                                  So Now you are requested to solve the issue and give details for settlement on my alternate number [protected] and above mentioned mail. Also request you to visit this store and see the working of your staff member (NITIN, ABHINAV and other Colleques). Also requested to solve the problem for [protected], there is problem with other networks other than Vodafone.

                                  Vodafone — Caller tune getting activated continuously without request

                                  We have a vodafone mobile prepaid connection in hyderabad that is being used by my parents. In this connection, caller tunes are getting activated without any o[censored]s requesting for them. I already deactivated the last caller tune which we didn't request for. Again, the vodafone brand caller tune got activated without any request from our end! Sometimes, the activated caller tunes are not good also. We are unnecessarily paying money because of these and in addition to that we sometimes feel bad when our callers tell us the caller tunes they hear while calling us. This is totally bad on Vodafone's part and the company should refrain from doing such things.

                                  Vodafone India — Callertune activated without request

                                  Vodafone India is sending autodialler calls to customers like a normal call and if anyone picks up the call unknowingly the caller tune is activated and the very next day Rs. 30 is deducted as monthly rental. No money will be refunded even after contacting the customer service. Vodafone is robbing the customers. I think we all should appreciate our present very liberal government for allowing such foreign stealing companies to florish in India. I think it is best in the interest of everyone to quit Vodafone India immediately.
                                  My father shri D.A.Pimplapure is also a similar victim. His age is 76 and he is using mobile just to be in touch with the family and never wants to get activated any callertunes in his mobile. But the company always activates caller tunes in his phone against his wishes. At present, a very absurd caller tune has been activated on his phone which is very hurting and it doesn't suit his age. Kindly do some thing to correct this Vodafone. I discarded using vodafone for so many different problems which were never attended properly.

                                    I have dropped my cheque in a Vodafone drop box kept in our office at Building No 9A, Tower A, 7th Floor, DLF Cyber City, Phase III, Gurgaon-122002 on 18th April 2008 valued Rs 751.02 (vide cheque no 440153 dt 17th April 2008 of Axis Bank Ltd ).My Vodafone number is [protected] but every time a call is comming from Vodafone care that the same amount is due for payment.

                                      1) Without my permission Call conference service has been activated on my number, for which I am paying a rental of Rs.49.00 from last 8 months. Even after requesting for deactivating this service (rahul talked to me, in this regard), the charges are again there on my bill this month.
                                      2) The charges of Rs.250(in jan feb), and some more in months of march are imposed on my number on the account
