Vodafone — Inappropriate Balance Deduction
Hi,My name is Yash Trivedi number ([protected]) have been a customer for almost a decade now and havent faced any problems till late when vodafone deducted about Rs 700 from my prepaid account without my knowlede and had my balance was reduced to Rs -86.86 when i had a balance of more than rs550 at that time and was stranded without balance almost for 4 hrs where it didnt even allow me to call customer service as u guys started charging to even complain.
Anywyas called up customer service from my another number ([protected]) and spoke to an advisor who was not helpful and cudnt give me a reason why rs 700 was deducted and he kept on saying i dont see anything on my systems there are no services activated and you must have used GPRS so called vodafone live service whereas i am a blackberry user and have opted for 399 BB plan where i get unlimted surfing and have been doing that for almost 20 days. So i wudnt use the Vodafone live. Spoke to a manager there named Wasim Khan(Mumbai Center) who was pathetic,unhelpful and kept on repeating the same thing i cant see anything on my systems.This was on the 3rd of september, he suggested me to go for itemized billing by paying rs49. but that wont help and why would i pay an additional 49 for no mistake of mine.
After an unsatisfactory response from Wasim Khan called back and spoke to another Manager Venkateshwar (Mumbai Center) who promised a call back but havent heard anything from him yet. Am wanting u guys to lemme know why my money was deducted when no calls were made, no services are activated and VL wasnt used or if your systems dont give u an appropriate reason want to be reimbursed for the amount i have lost or else i am seriously considering switching over from vodafone who i have been associated for a decade now.

Subject:- Reversal of automatically activation of ”VODAFONE ALERTS SERVICE”
With reference to above this is to inform you that I have received a message from Vodafone regarding activation of Vodafone alerts for “ART OF LIVING SUTRAS”, “LUVGURU” and “BOLLYWOOD” on dated 05/09/10 ,06/09/10 and 07/09/10 respectively, and for this service my prepaid balance of Rs. 90 has been deducted without send any message for above services from my side.
I have complained regarding above problem as above mentioned request numbers and against request no-[protected], I talked to customer Care Executive Mr.Ravi and he said that charges for that service will be refunded within 48 hours on dated 05/09/10, and against request no-[protected] again I talked to Customer Care Executive Mr. Monu and he again said that charges for that service will be refunded within next 48 hours on dated 07/09/10 and lastly against request no- [protected] I go to Vodafone Store, Preet Vihar,Delhi and I said regarding that problem to Vodafone Care executive Miss. Nazia on dated and after de-activation of my last Vodafone alert service , she said that no reversal provided to you for that automatically activation for above services.
When I stand at Vodafone Store, Preet Vihar, I have seen same problem regarding reversal of automatically activation on mobile No.[protected] which is in the customer name” Deepesh” and he talked to me regarding that problem and he got refund of Rs. 60 from Vodafone through mail send via a customer care executive of Vodafone store,preet vihar.Delhi. I also said about my problem to Vodafone Store Executive Mr. Manas who is senior executive of Vodafone Store,Preet vihar Delhi, and he said that no mail is allow from Vodafone Store Executives regarding customer.
Please consider the above fact and circumstances and do the best justice which is actually provided to a customer and reverse my deducted balance of Rs. 90 and for that I highly obliged to you.
