Vodafone — Activated internet pack but not able to use and balance continuously being deducted for Ph.No. 9899171649

Dear Sir

I have purchased new SIM [protected] on 08/05/11 and activated unlimited GPRS pack of Rs 499. to use it on my phone using my phone as modem. I started using net next day after 24 hours of receiving activation SMS for unlimited internet. But after sometime i found out that I was not able to use internet. My balance is showing Rs -372.35. I am not able not understand why was i charged and even after paying for gprs scheme why am I not able not use internet.

Please look into the matter as soon as possible. There has been a very bad response from vodafone customer care. No one has been able to solve the issue, they just asked me to call after 4-5 hours. I have tried 3 times after a break of 5 hrs but each time i had same disappointing response.

if it is real....ok. but i feel doubtfullllll.. this is.

Vodafone — deducting balance

I am a citizen of Hyderabad...i have been using Vodafone and for simply no reason they are deducting my balance....on calling the customer care executive..he says balance is being deducted for the us of internet..and even after de-activating GPRS the balance goes nil..i want vodafone to look into the matter and repay back by balance..

Vodafone — Continuous virus attacks from TD 555 55

I am getting continuous sms from TD 555 55, some unreadable format and I got around 100 msgz in a day and this has been happening from d past 1week.
please resolve the issue immediately else I will need to take Vodafone to the consumer court and will write in English dailies as well.

Vodafone (Postpaid Mobile Connection) — Constant Spam Messages

Dear Sir/Madam,

My phone is assaulted by telemarketers with endless spam messages, flash adverts, automated as well as ordinary phone calls. In particular, a lot of texts come from entities with the intials, 'TD***' or 'LM***'. For example, "TDCapital" "LMTataSky" etc. Some of the phone calls never seem to end. If i cancel the call, the person rings back at least another 6 more times irrespective of the time of the day.

I did of course meet the customer care personnel at Vodafone and they suggested that I send a text containing the words "START 0" (or "START DND") to put a stop to this. Unfortunately, following confirmation from Vodafone that my request had been processed, I received at least another half a dozen adverts from telemarketers. I have lived outside of India for the past 5 years and have never quite witnessed such high levels of insensitive soliciting.

Fairly certain that this in some way is affecting my right to livelihood. I take enough stress in my work as it is, and this phenomenon is more than just annoying. In fact calling it annoying would be a rather euphemistic expression for such disgraceful behaviour on the part of advertisers in this country. I really do hope that something can be done about this. I have searched all over the internet to see if there is at least some sort of a software fix that can be installed to block out spammers. At the moment though, no such option exists.

I shall be very grateful if the Forum pays heed to my complaints and addresses this issue as it concerns not just me but a lot of consumers across the country who once felt blessed to have a phone in their possession.
