This is to bring to your notice that I own a Volkswagen POLO TDI (trendline) with registration number HR 26 BF 0560. On 03/06/2011 i.e Friday I notice some strange noise coming from the lower left front of the vehicle. I immediately took my car to Frontier autoworld service center, Wazirabad, Gurgaon. They outright refused to take in my vehicle saying that they had enough vehicles for the day. I requested them to give the vehicle a checkup and if something serious was found then take my vehicle for both servicing and resolving the noise coming from the vehicle, to which they agreed.

After a half an hour inspection they took the vehicle out and told me nothing was seriously wrong with the car and I can take my car and come again for service on Monday.

On returning from a trip to Gurgaon (I was coming from the Pataudi – Gurgaon road) on 04/06/11, a red sign came up on the speedometer. It flashed three times giving three beeps to which I responded by immediately stopping the vehicle and checked out what the sign meant. I checked with the user manual and it stated there that don’t dive the vehicle on, don’t even start the engine as the engine oil level can be too low. I checked the car and found that engine oil was spilling out. So I called Volkswagen on their customer support. I was at a village called Wazirpur around 12 kms from Gurgaon.

I called Volkswagen customer helpline at[protected] from my cell phone ([protected]) at around 11 am 04/06/11 (Saturday). I narrated the whole incident to the customer care lady and she told me she was sending a Tow truck and it will reach me within an hour. The Tow truck came at around 12:45 PM and they towed my vehicle to the Wazirabad based Frontier service station.

Upon reaching the service station Mr. Sandeep (Service advisor) took my car under him and told me that the oil chamber of the car was broken and needs to be replaced. As my car was nearing a 14000 km mark, I also told him to service the car and also rectify the following problems :-
1. wiper nozzle was not aiming right.
2. the vehicle drifted towards the left.
3. there was a sound from the lower left front of the vehicle.
4. there was noise while applying the breaks.

He gave me a rough estimate of around Rs. 12000 and the said that the car would be delivered on 11/06/11 (Saturday). On Saturday evening Mr. Sandeep gave me a call that my car is services and repaired and I can pick my car from the service station. As I was out of town I told him that I will pick the car on Monday as Sunday is a non-working day at frontier service station.

I arrived at the service station at 9:30 AM and contacted Mr. Sandeep for the delivery of my car. While checking for the problems resolved, I found not even one of the problems mentioned above told by me to the service advisor were resolved. Also a new sign was showing in the speedometer. It was yellow in colour and looked like an inductance sign which didn’t show up when the engine oil leaked and even when the service advisor took the car.

I asked the service advisor why the sign was showing up and he didn’t have any answer. I grew suspicious. Also I noticed that the car’s next service due time and kms were not reset.

So I asked him to resolve the problem. They again took the car in and kept me waiting from 09:30 am to 6 PM in the service station at which time he told me that I cannot get the vehicle delivered on that day as the turbo charger was damaged.

How can the turbo charger be damaged overnight when the service advisor called me and told me my vehicle was ready to be delivered after SERVICING?

I told that I want the car on that day itself as my work was suffering. I asked to talk to the service center head and the service advisor took me to Mr. Gaurav (GM). I narrated the whole incident to him and he told me that the part was available at the service station and will be replaced in warranty but the labour was gone as it was 6:30 PM by now. So he promised me that he will get the part replaced next morning.

The next day I called the service center and came to know that my service advisor was now Mr Gurmeet. To my shock he told me that the part will not be covered in warranty and I will have to pay for it and he needs my permission to order the part. I said but the turbo charger was already there at the service center. Also how can the turbo charger be damaged overnight when it was alright after the servicing of the car?

I also met with Amit Walia service manager of the service center on (Saturday i.e. 18/06/11 ) and narrated him the whole incident. He told me that the case was pending with the Area manager of Volkswagen and I will hear from him on Monday.

Today i.e. Monday 20/06/11, I call Mr. Amit Walia and he told me that I will hear from him till noon. At around 12:30 PM he called me and told me that someone from Volkswagen will come and check the vehicle. I asked him how the turbo charger can be damaged when it was O.K on 10/06/11 when the car was repaired and serviced by the service center. I also asked him for the e-mail id and phone number of the Area Manager and of Mr. Gaurav (GM) to which he refused saying that he cannot pass on email id’s of people and I should write to him. He also told me that I can take whatever action I want to take and then he will respond to it.

My car is in warranty and also I haven’t taken the car from the service center since 04/06/11. Since 04/06/11 I called numerous times to my first service advisor Mr. Sandeep but he didn’t pick the call and when he did answer my calls he told me that he will call me back in a moment but never did. I had to call on other numbers in the service center in order to reach him.

My post sales experience with frontier autoworld has been horrifying and traumatic. This is harassment by the company and my faith and trust in Volkswagen has been shattered.

Till date I don’t understand how the turbo charger got damaged over night when the vehicle was ready to be delivered.

You leave me with no choice but to go to the consumer court for justice.

      I have recommended Volkswegan Vento Car to my cousin sisters marriage on 4th June 2011, since Vento was launched in Coimbatore in The Residency hotel, where i was working. The booking was made on 23rd February in the name of S Eswaramoorthy with an advance payment of Rs. 75,000.

      Sr. Sales Manager Mr. Jayaram has commited that the car will be delivered by May end, which is in time for the marriage. We have arranged loan through Federal Bank and even without informing us, the DD has be collected by him from the bankers (whose representative is in the Showroom itself) and full payment has been made. But till now, 15th June 2011, delivery schedule has not be informed.

      Even the CEO of coimbatore branch Mr. Sasikumar has no answer when this problem has forwarded to him

        Purchase of Vento IPL Model, on 15.5.2011, Paid the amount as per Price List and Paid the Registration and Octroi Charges as per Breakup of Pricelist.

        Received the bill with Following Descripency,

        1. Amount paid for Octroi Rs 32000 Octroi Receipt received for 30500 approx.
        2. Registration charges paid for Rs 59000 approx Registation receipt received
        for 51000 approx,
        3. As per price list for IPL Model Depo charges Rs 3000/- not in the price list as
        per executive explanation while booking the car and estimate given ,but
        added in Registration charges.
        4 After asking for the details for 59000 company has given the breakup of
        incidential expenses which are not forming part of Registration charges as
        per the definition, which was told to them before taking the delivery and the
        Depo charges also added in the Registration charges.
        5. While taking the delivery I have paid Rs 11500 / extra accessories and asked
        for Invoice copy , The executive of Company has told me that we are
        processing the invoice at the end of the month, till date Invoice copy for Rs
        11500/- is not issued in my name though intimation was also given.

        From the above points it is clear that this is nothing but harasement to the custoemr and secondly the Marketing head is aware of the same and not giving the reply even though reminder are given by mail with proper time period,


        Please confirm the refund amount and invoice copy,

          I have booked Volswagon Vento highline model on 19th November 2010 by paying advance of Rs.75,000 in the name of my husband, wherein they committed to deliver within two months and they have marked the delivery period as 5-6 months. Despite repeated follow up there is no one to provide us the status of our vehicle. When we spoke to the Sales Head today he says that there are 7 more people waiting before our turn, they also say that if you want you can legal proceed against us, we dont have any problem.

          pls resolve.

            IN THIS REGARD THE PROBLEM IN THE CAR IS OF TOTAL SHUTDOWN .
            THE CAR ELECTRIC PARTS STOPS WORKING AND THE CAR BECOMES LIKE BLANK WITHOUT BATTERY AND THEIR IS NO LIGHT ON IGNITION .
            IN THIS CASE WE HAVE SENT THE CAR TO DEALER ON DATED : 29/05/2011 AND THE SAME PROBLEM HAVE ACCURED ON DATED 08/06/2011.
            THE CAR IS GIVEN TO DEALER TODAY FOR THE SAME PROBLEM.

              I have been waiting for my polo rear left door from almost 21 days. I have been continuously following up with M/S Vidyut Motors (pune) service dept. from 21 days but they keep making false promises to wait 2-3 days evertime.
              I have to drive my polo around with a literally severed rear left door.
              What action should I take ?

                This is the first letter I posted on Volkswagen site regarding a major glitch in my newly bought POLO.

                Hello,

                I would like to bring to your kind authority, the painful experience with my new Polo Highliner car which I bought 2 months back.

                After 15 days of owning, I noticed there was water deposit in the boot of the vehicle. The carpets were wet in the left side of the seating area in both front and rear.
                I thought it might be due to entry of water while washing or shower. I ignored it initially. But to my surprise, after couple of days the water level was really increasing and the entire carpet got soiled due to wetness.

                I enquired with the local dealer from whom I had purchased my car. M/S Bharat Motors, Bhubaneswar, who could not give a proper explanation and tried to convince me the same reason which I thought initially, entering of water while washing or shower. When I insisted on a check-up, they told me to bring it to their service station. After thorough check up they said they could not find any leakage and suggested me to dry it and use it.

                After a week, to my utter frustration, I noticed water was still being deposited. I called customer service, Volkswagen, and filed a complaint. They assured me to get the issue resolved within 48 hours. I did not get any call till a week and checked with customer service again, they said the compliant is closed. Bharat Motors had closed the complaint without even consulting me. I reopened the complaint.

                I got a call from Bharat Motors this time and they told me (again) to bring the car to their station. I took the car and they assured me of a thorough check-up. I picked up the car after 2 days and they assured me that they have resolved the issue and there won’t be any leakage. I saw the boot space was clean and dry, so I thought finally the problem is resolved. They were asking 800 rupees for some charge, I straight away denied and said it should be covered in warranty. They agreed and I drove back.

                It has been 2 weeks since then, and I see the water depositing issue is persistent. And I don’t have any patience to go back to the service station which is an hour drive from my office, since I know this time also they simply can’t resolve the issue, but only will waste my time, energy and money (transit cost).

                1. Wolkswagen, a pioneer in car making, and leakage in the floor from their flagship car in India. Just does not make sense. Do they do any quality check before delivery ?
                2. How do they appoint dealers ? Do they have any technical criteria ? Are their appointed service engineers competent ?
                3. Customer Service, just don’t follow up. Are you going to set a bench mark in customer service and compete with Maruti, Hyundai and the like with such an unprofessional service level ?
                4. If the dealer is not equipped to find the root cause of the problem, why don’t they just say it ? Why do the lie ?

                Numerous questions and I need an explanation for all of them as a devoted customer, who dared to buy a POLO despite its unknown reputation in India. Or will I be just silenced by you too, just like by the dealer, by providing false assurance and false commitment.

                Note: As an empowered and enlighted customer of India, I would go to appropriate forum with my grievance if my concern is not addressed within 1 week from Volkswagen side.

                This is the follow up mail I wrote to After Sales dept of Volkswagen

                Hello,

                This is a follow up to my earlier mail on 27th May regarding my POLO highliner (Registration No. OR-02 AN 5665) bought from Bharat Motors, Bhubaneswar.

                I had written to you that my car had a glitch; Water depositing on the boot space.

                After I had written to you, I got a call from my dealer Bharat Motors that they will be taking my car for repair.

                It has been already 10 days since they communicated to me, they have NOT taken the car. In the mean time, the water leakage has not stopped and the entire floor mat has spoilt and rotten due to continuous deposit of water.

                Note: There is no formal communication from your side, neither by post, not to my email (id [protected]@rediffmail.com) till date.

                When I enquire with Bharat Motors, they say, they are still waiting for guide lines from Company about how to go about the repair.

                This attitude of yours and your dealer shocks me. I am not able to understand where is the gap.

                At this point of time, I am feeling helpless, tortured, harassed and cheated. I am not able to use my car with peace of mind, also feel sad to see its value depreciated day by day, without any fault from my side.
                Experience of owning my first car and choosing Volkswagen has become a night mare for me and my family.

                Hope you wake up now and take care of it now.

                  I had given my POLO on Monday, 30-May-2011 for a very minor tinkering & painting. The service center promised to deliver the vehicle in 3 days (i.e by Thursday/Friday morning). However, the vehicle was never delivered to me on the promised date. When contacted the service center, they promised to deliver the car on Saturday, and stated that the Paint has to get dry. But when contacted on Saturday, they naratted the same story of paint drying and promised to deliver the vehicle on Monday. Again Monday also the same story and promised to deliver on Tuesday.

                  I am very much frustrated with the Service attitude and Volkswagen Service Center.

                  I have decided not to buy any products from Volkswagen and will advise my friends and relatives not to invest in Volkswagen Products.

                  I have recently given my VW POLO(Which was just 1500kms driven) to fix a minor scratch on the door(Which costed me about 7k). And after the job i have received the vehicle with another scratches on the door and the side panel. I informed this this to the service guy as this was happened during the repair.He even refused to accept it as scratches and did some touch up with the paint. As i had to travel and it was late in the evening i didn't get a chance to raise this to their managers. But i managed to give this as feedback on the next day and no one responded regarding these issues.

                  In addition to this my key chain and parking stickers where missing from the car. They never showed any dignity to even check/apologize for the loses. Please be aware of this guys

                    I have purchased one Volkswagen Polo 1.2 Highline Petrol Car on 13th May 2011 from Vidyut Motors, Pune.The car was delivered with Apollo tubeless tyres as original fitment.Within a fortnight's time of city driving and a run in of 1130 km,one of the tyres got punctured.The car stood overnight on 27th May 2011 and a puncture was discovered and the spare, mounted . Upon getting the flat checked at the nearest HP petrol pump, it was found that there were many other micro holes in the tyre along the side wall.
                    Further inquiry from the Apollo dealer about the tubeless tyres revealed that the tyre can be run for 30-40km even when it was punctured, if there was no loss of air pressure or with a refill. My total run for the day was less than 10 km. The above (run in of 40 km) was claimed by one Mr. Hrishikesh of Vidyut Motors at the time of purchase of the car. But the tire was damaged beyond repair even when run well below the claimed limits.
                    It shows that the tyre in question is defective one.When approached personally,the Car dealer and the Apollo tyres Service Engineer, flatly refused to listen to my complaint and put the entire blame on me for the defect in tyre he people,there, not only questioned my driving skills but were also very unprofessional. A Vidyut motors senior person, on my bringing to his notice, the claims made by their sales executive, mocked me by saying that I should not have believed what the salesman had to say and that he did not own any responsibility for what his salesmen were saying to the customers. He further said that he could never convince me in the matter and that neither Volkswagen, Vidyut motors or Apollo tyres would own responsibility for the same. He then asked me to contact Apollo tyres as the tyres were covered by manufacturer warranty and not Volkswagen. When I told him that I was disappointed with VW and Vidyut Motors and would not like my car to be serviced at the dealer, he laughed and told me that it was entirely my call.
                    As a young executive, I have invested a big chunk of my salary in buying the Car of my dreams but the treatment I received at the hands of Vidyut Motors and Apollo Tyres has left me disappointed and has made me question my decision of choosing VW, a German Brand world renowned for quality. Having driven cars from Suzuki, Tata Motors and Hindustan Motors for over a decade this is my first experience of such a nature.
                    Perhaps, no action would be taken against the parties, but still I am writing this so that other people may not fall in this trap and avoid the dealer, the car company and the tyre manufacturer.

                    polo 1.2 highline — poor services

                    Dear Sir,

                    1. I have purchased vw polo highline 3 and half months before after reminder of atleast
                    200 times and that too after 2 months surat vw dealer has provided me registration certificate.

                    2. still i have not received the certificate for annual maintenence contract for three years though i contacted the dealer salesman and manager several times we have a mail copy ti proof.

                    i dont understand why do u appoint such kind of dealers who is not able to provide the services on time and they hardly bother to convey same to the customer. this kind of services are giving wrong impression for such kind of brands.

                      Hi all,

                      This is J.Visuvesvaran we own a 2.0L CRDli heaven Blue Jetta.The alternate belt which charges the battery went missing.So we requested the Madurai Showroom to send us the alternate belt. They sent us a belt . when it was fixed it made a hell of noise when starting. when asked we came to know that was the previous version one.The new version alternate belt is not available all over south India except for in kerala. Now they ask us not to use the belt. And come to the service station without the belt for 150 kms. I should not stop the car as it cant be turned on again. Kindly let me know what i have to do...

                        I found alloys bend when the car was just 4500 km when the car had vibration during the drive .

                        After repeated complaints i have just received a courtesy call from the dealer .And now they are telling that it is wear & tear .I have request that i want the contact detail of company official but the dealer is not willing to had over the details .

                        The only option for a complaint is customer.[protected]@volkswagen.co.in.

                        i have not been offered any solution till date after several repeated attempts and requests to solve my problem .

                        I have not seen such a irresponsible & pathetic customer care in my life

                        Hello, I am a proud and loyal owner of VW jetta. I bought Jetta trend line on 2nd June 2011. My car vin no is WVWK101K8AA554565 and Registration no is UK07AK7979. My car has completed 14743 km till now. I have done servicing of my car in regular interval and other maintenance from time to time.
                        Now I am having an unusual problem in my car. Few months back my driver side wheel (Alloy) colour faded off and black spot appeared on the wheel (alloy). I complained the issue to the dealer and asked them to change the wheel (alloy) under warranty. They said me that for clamming warranty they have to report the matter to higher authority and they can change the wheel (alloy) under warranty only when they will get approval from the head office. They took the photographs of my wheel (alloy) and mailed everything to their head office. After few days I got the phone call from the dealer and the service manager over there told me that they did not got the permission to replace the wheel (alloy) under warranty but they got the permission to paint the wheel (alloy) for free of cost. I agreed on their proposal and they did painting job on my wheel (alloy).
                        But from past few days I was getting a shaking experience in my steering wheel whenever my car goes above a speed of 60-70 km/hr and I was feeling waving and shaking experience. I thought that my car is waving and shaking because either my wheel alignment is out or my wheels are not balanced. So for wheel alignment and wheel balancing I went to an authorized garage. But when they checked my car and inspected the wheel, they brought to my knowledge that all the four wheels (Alloy) are damaged and they were not fully even in appearance.
                        I went to VW authorize dealer 30/08/2012 and they investigated my wheels (Alloy) and tried to figure out the cause. They also called the insurance surveyor, but they were not able to find the cause of the damage. The insurance surveyor is saying that since there is no physical damage in car he is not sure that the insurance company will give insurance claim or not. Although he has referred the matter to higher authority.
                        My car has no physical damage. Neither my cars shockers nor suspensions are damaged. All the systems of my cars are working fine except my wheels (Alloys).
                        So it is my humble request to you and your renounced company to look in my matter and replace my wheels (alloys) under warranty free of cost because there is no physical damage to my car and its other parts (not a single scratch) and it is due to manufacturing defect that all four (4) wheels (Alloy) lost their shape all together and same defect happened in all four (4) wheels (Alloy) in same time.
                        ON 31/08/12, I contacted Mr Joshi Surveyor of Bazaj Alliance about the progress of my claim he told me that Insurance Company has refused the claim since it is manufacturing defect. He also told me that he is unable to give me this in writing.
                        ON 1/9/2012, I got a mail form insurance that the wheel rims cannot get deformed in a single event when there is no other apparent visible accidental damage to any other part and same does not fall under the purview of insurance cover.
                        I am trying to contact MR Abhishek, Service Manager on his phone but he is not responding and he is neither picking phone. After lot o[censored]nsuccessful call to Mr Abhishek I decided to go service centre myself. I met Mr Abhishek there and asked why he did not pick my call, he gave many excuses. I asked him to replace my wheels under warranty, he gave me same old answer that for clamming warranty they have to report the matter to higher authority and they can change the wheel (alloy) under warranty only when they will get approval from the head office.                         But till now i got no answer from the dealer.

                        Since insurance company is saying the above statement then it means that everything happened due to the bad quality product supplied by VW India then it is the responsibility of a renowned company like Vw to change the wheels under warranty free of cost
                        So I request to change my wheels


                        PLEASE HELP ME OUT OR I HAVE TO TAKE LEGAL ACTION...

                          I purchased a Polo 1.6 from globus volkswagen delhi north on 21st April, 2011. My dilemma started the very first moment from the showroom only. The staff was at conflict among themselves only, they commited me something but after taking the advance the owner came and refused to the comittment. Giving them benefit of being near to my place I purchased this polo from them only. After running around 600 kms the A/c stopped working , I went to the dealer he sent me to the Moti nagar Delhi west workshop. They told me that the gas has leaked as there is some leakage which they could'nt detect in the first visit. The car ran perfectly fine for three four days but again after that the problem resurfaced plus there was some noise from the A/c this time. Now today 30/05/2011 this is the third day my car is with them though they today said that sir we have detected a leakage at the cooling coil etc but I doubt it won't resurface for the second time. In the mean time I sent three mails to VW India but no response just an acknowledgement mail, thats it. These people are not at all customer friendly. I plan to file a case at the consumer court if the problem resurfaces again. One more thing I wanna tell that on the day of delivery there was a long scratch on the car which these people tried to camouflage by rubbing and all. See the standards of the company which they advertise 'Das Auto'. Shame VW!

                          I Bought my brand new vento from GLOUBS CAR its in north delhi they gave me wrong car. when i went to moti nagar workshop then told me my car a/c coling coil is changed from old car dats why its not giving coling, , again i went to GLOBUS the owner told me we will change it free of cost dnt worry..Infront of me they changed it from a new polo 1.6 petrol, , its not ar fair dealing..IN GLOBUS workshop dere are brand new car accident without no. plate just 60km driven 1 white polo and 1 red polo..they are to clever.

                            i'm Bala from Coimbatore, Tamilnadu. My cousin had booked a volkswagen VENTO from your showroom at Coimbatore for her sister's marriage. We had been assured to get the product by May end. As the purchase is being made in relation to an important function on our side,we were assured to get the car prior to it and we have paid an advance of Rs.0.75 Lakhs for the same.
                            We have been enquiring about the same for the past one week and now,3 days prior to the day promised,your dealers have backed off and are saying that it can be delivered only by after the marriage (which is being held on 4th June 2010).
                            I'm ashamed to inform you that the good reputation of your company is at stake because of this kind of irresponsible dealership.
                            Due to the extremely irresponsible behaviour on your side, definetely i will recommend my collegaues and friends not to go for VW

                              I have booked Volkswagen 1.6 Vento highline disel model on 18.10.2010 vide receipt no.5213 in the name of Shevam J Kothari with Dhoot motors, Aurangabad.They have committed to give me delivery by Dec 2010.However till date I haven't received the delivery of the same.

                              I have talked with Mr. Ingles Eleazar, in Dec, 2010 the Representative at Dhoot motors and at all times he gave me false commitment that the car will be delivered to you in coming months. Thus, month by month time has passed till April 2011. After that Mr. Ingles Eleazar not even responding to my phone calls. So I contacted their other representative Mr. Balaji. He promised that by May 20th the car will be delivered. But nothing has been received. Now he is saying that by June,2011 the car will be delivered.

                              Thus, just false commitments are done from their side.

                              Secondly they are telling that car insurance is to be taken from them only. which amounts to Rs. 31523/-, whereas other vendors are giving at Rs. 21000/- . Here, once again they are charging too much, for what , don't know.

                              My cousin Sumeet Kothari has purchased the same model from Sadik Motors, Nagpur, though he has booked the car after me however recd the delivery by march 2011 that too without their insurance. He has taken the policy from other vendor.

                              Thus, it seems that Dhoot Motors is not playing fair game on their part and my initial amount of Rs. 75000/- is also lying with the same idle. Thus, they must be getting extra monies from the new customers and thus delaying my delivery. This is nothing but a false commitment on their part. Almost more than 6 months has passed and nothing has been done from their side. They are not even calling on their own to me , I am just following them like anything.

                              Please look into the matter and do the needful.

                                  I had booked a VENTO on 9th april 2011, within a week my loan was processed & my car no. was alloted to me. However, when i went to take the delivery i was told that my car has been given to someone else & i will be alloted another car.. Its been 2 weeks post that & i still dont have the car delivered !! Its a shame to see this kind of service from such a big name ! This is the kind of service i am getting right now i dont knoe what to expect in the future ! I dont think i can ever recommend Volkswagen to anyone ever !!

                                    Booked a Vento in the month of Nov 2010(03/Nov/10)in chennai and till date
                                    no response from the dealers end or the company.It is really sad to see an

                                      I own a Volkswagen Vento AT purchased Feb 2011 from Global Gallarie Motors Pvt. Ltd. Thane, Car CH.No. WVWM10601BT023391. The Problem is that the car parts are of really sub grade category and I say so because recently the AC Vents luvers broke. My original complaint is with the dealer cause when I came to them the response was that the part is damaged and since its plastic so nothing can be done to repair or replace it. Adding to this during the whole procedure no one even cared to open the damaged segment to investigate whether it was a damage done by human or was it a manufacturing defect ! When I told the service manager in charge ( Mr.Dipak Patil ) that I would put this to the company's head office at BKC,Mumbai, the gentleman reverted back after a while that they are going to replace the damaged vent. Question is " Why was there no investigation on the damage and if the replacement was possible why was it not done on the first call. Why is the consumer dealt in such a harassing way ? " . Please look into the matter and advice the company i.e. Volkswagen India and the stated dealer about the same.

                                      I own a VW Vento TDI, manual transmission, purchased in Dec'10 from EVM Motors, Kochi. Last month, two of the AC vent louvers broke. When I took the car to the dealer, they refused to accept the fact that it was a manufacturing defect and insisted that something hard had hit the dashboard causing the louvers to dislocate. They claimed that VW motors have also refused to accept the cause as manufacturing defect and put the blame on the customer's rough handling. Whilst in the showroom and discussing this issue, the attending service technician touched one of the intact louvers and it got dislocated, though it was handled by him very carefully. When this was immediately pointed out, he was at a loss for words. He tried to defend himself saying that the louvers were already loose due to some previous impact...!!! It is without doubt a manufacturing defect. How can an interior part get damaged by a hard impact, when the outside area is perfectly intact with not even the slightest scratch or a faint sign of some external force applied. VW motors should without prejudice accept the fact that there is a manufacturing defect to the AC vent louvers and arrange to rectify the fault, rather than give lame excuses.

                                      I just read your mail and sorry for the later reply. By now you must've already purchased a Vento or other car.
                                      This car is no doubt a powerful car, but has got a lot of nagging problems. To start with my AC vent louvers have broken down a second time after the company replaced the original damaged ones with new ones after a lot of dilly-dallying. Now I am fighting with them again to get it replaced.
                                      The car has got less ground clearance and hence needs to be very carefully handled in pot-holes and speed breakers. with a full load of passengers, you are sure to get the bottom scratched no matter how careful you are.
                                      The service is very bad, especially the Kerala dealer - EVM motors. Very poor customer relation and very poor service.
                                      Plus the interiors are pretty plastic, though looks very appealing. One of my ceiling lights just got dislodged by itself.

                                      My humble suggestion is that you go for a better car - maybe the verna fluidic or equivalent. I am regreting buying this car.
                                      we got the delivery of the car ( vento 1.6 petrol highline ) on 1/06/11 but in the company's records it is 12/04/11.Car no. DL 10C C 8900 .there is a technical fault in the A/C from the day of delivery.The car has went to the workshop of world class automobile pvt. ltd., Moti Nagar for 5 times. We lost a lot of time & money due to this . But A/C is still not working.The company's D.G.M-Pawan Ji([protected]) & A.G.M. - Prashant Gulati Ji([protected]) are not able to or not willing to sort out our problem. If the higher officials are also not able to solve the problems, then what is their benefit to the costumers.Total loss - Rs. 9, 42, 000(NINE LAKH FORTY TWO THOUSAND.)
                                      I think that the car is second-hand.If the company doesn't take any strict action for the same as early as possible, then we shall go to the consumer court.

                                      Before buying the car, their Reps. Coming to our door steps and talking a lot...But, after we bought and paid money even for all the extra fittings, they will not bather about our complaints & Requests too...? So sad about it...??
                                      With in this one year the company never called us or informed us for the services ...?
                                      Good VW company...! But worst relationship with the customers, especially our Trichy dealership...?
                                      Better to do the best to the Customers & satisfy them...ok

                                        Extremely bad attitude of the dealer in Hyderbad. Automotive manufacturers is the dealers who seem to be running a huge scam where they take money from others are change the priorities. The company Volkswagen does not seem to be care.. This is a huge scam where ordinary people seem to be powerless

                                        Can we start a online petetion to stop Volkswagen from this daylight robbery of hapless citizens?
