Dear Sir:

Sub: Complaint regarding non delivery of my Car Volkswagen POLO
MH43 AB 9565 – ENG No. CFW 009312 CHASSIS No. WVWG 10608 BT003166.

I purchased the above said car and took delivery of the same on 20/08/2010 under invoice no KSM/CI/463/296. This car has done about 20474 Kms as on 17/07/2011
and this car met with an accident when I was driving on 17/07/2011 which was duly collected by your authorized towing contractor M/s INDIA ASSISTANCE under their collection challan No.10187 dated 17/07/2011.

You had made a complete assessment of the damages for making insurance claim on the insurance Co M/s Bharti AXA Insurance Co Ltd. Accordingly you have arranged for the survey by the insurance Co and made a claim of Rs.21337.00 as per your invoice IN20104608 dated 26/07/2011 while delivering the car duly repaired by your workshop.

After taking delivery of the car on 26/07/2011, hardly after driving the car for less than 1 km , the car again stopped abruptly very close to your workshop after the engine got seized badly.
I had reported the failure of the engine to your company and you had deputed one Mr.Nitin Shriyan along with 4 other staff who came to the spot and took delivery through your breakdown van. My problems started from that date (26/07/2011)because neither you have arranged to provide me with the insurance claim covering the entire repair nor you are arranging to carry out the necessary repairs to make my car road worthy. When I visited your works on the following day i.e. 27/07/2011, your Mr.Nikhil Pawar personally spoke with me and also admitted that the mistake of your workshop personnel to fill up the required engine oil after the repair was done by them which must have caused the total seizure of the engine within a short distance of running. Thereafter I have been making personal visits several times to your workshop and also regularly calling them to expedite repair of my car to bring it back to roadworthy condition.




I painfully would like to place my grievances on record by way of this letter that,

1. My car was not repaired properly at the first instance when I left it on 17/07/2011 and returned by you on 26/07/2011 duly said to have been repaired and insurance claims made.
2. Your staff are not capable enough to assess the damage and have made an estimate in an hotchpotch manner thereby an insurance claim was not properly lodged by you.
3. Even after a lapse of about 2 months your staff or workshop is not able to put my car back into roadworthy condition.
4. I am being put into a lot of personal inconveniences and mental trauma by you and your staff without giving any proper answer or definite commitment about the delivery after repairs.
5. I had to make too many phone calls and personal visits to your workshop to take delivery of my car when I do not even get a reply from any responsible officer or manager.

6. Till this date I am not even informed as to what will be the estimated repair charges.


7. I attempted to contact Mr.Prasanth D’souza who deliberately avoids my calls and refuses to come on line or I was not even given an appointment by him to speak about my problems.

8. From foregoing, you will note that you have admitted and accepted your failure in rendering the service to a loyal VOLKSWAGEN CUSTOMER and also proved your deficiency in service which is a very befitting case for taking up the issue with the Consumer redressal forum of |Mumbai.


9. I am writing this letter to you atleast after receiving the same you will try to rectify your mistakes and take suitable actions to deliver my car after carrying out necessary repairs in complete manner so that my car will not have the same failure.

10. I request that my case is attended on top priority and see that the same delivered to me within 7 working days after receipt of this letter failing which I will be forced to take legal action through the Consumer Redressal court to claim the cost incurred for repairing/replacing the defective parts and also the compensations for the entire mental trauma sustained by me by your failure to deliver my car in good condition.

Please acknowledge receipt of this letter immediately otherwise it is deemed as your acceptance of the abovesaid charges without any denial.

    I m Rajeev agrawal from Baazpur.Uttrakhand,,purchased Volkswagon polo top model on 10 th august 2011from Mearuth dealer(Uttarpradesh)..on 22 nd august problem occured,,Coolent dried up...we sent car to Haldwani dealer,,on 25 th august we get it back...on 26 th august again the same problem,we talk to helpline no.,they asked us to again sent the car to dealer,,since 28th august 2011 to the date car is with Haldwani dealer...We are frustrated with the bahaviour and response of the company.
    What action should I take???

      Sub:Poor Wheel Alignment of Polo

      This is to bring to your kind notice that I,Dr. Deepak Sarin,bought a Polo (registration # DL 5CE 3037) from Bhasin Motors,New Delhi,India but within a week the wheel alignment of the car got distorted.

      I have got my car rectified from all your workshops SIX times but to no avail.The wheel alignment of my car is still distorted even after SIX FAILED ATTEMPTS from the pathetic workshop engineers.I was really disappointed and frustrated that a car manufacturer as renowned as Volkswagen could deliver such a poor product,and even poorer after sales service.This heart rending incident has ruined all my excitement of buying a new car and the brand value of your esteemed company.Now,after 8 long months of driving this car,I have learnt that this car is a DANGER to my LIFE as I just cannot leave the steering of the car.Is this the kind of poor quality cars your reknowned brand makes which is unsafe for the driver.I don't think I will ever buy a Volkswagen car in my entire life,or recommend anyone in my known circle to do the same blunder that I made.

      The most frustrating and agonizing part is that after repeated pleas and contacting the Volkswagen India Helpline (Concern No: CAL2959,Concern No: VWG2689) to have my car corrected,there is no response from the company or the dealer,Bhasin Motors Delhi.Its a shame that because of the poor quality of the product,the client has to undergo such mental trauma,harassment, frustration,threat to his life and wastage of his precious time,energy and hard earned money in maintaining such cars,which are meant for luxury,not discomfort.Last time I had made the request,I got response from two workshops and I requested them to transfer my case to Attrica Motors,as its close to my house.The GM service Mr. Vicky Raina tested my car and told me that he would contact me as and when your engineer would show up,but after repeated calls,he told me TWO MONTHS later that no such thing would happen and that my case has been forwarded to your head office in Pune,which has yet to react.If your company doesn't want to accept that they have manufacturing defects in their only selling product in India,the least I can expect is for them to rectify it.But after repeated mails and pleas,I think the only option left with me is through Consumer Court of India.

      I hope you take due notice of this complaint and do the needful to ensure that the error is properly rectified and appropriately fixed to reinforce my lost faith in your esteemed company.

      That is a sad news. pathetic to learn about the response of VW. If this not checked now, definetly, it shall demolish the growing brand image of germans.

        we have give our car new polo trendline for repair on 23/08/11 to you work shop volkswagen delhi south , bhasin motors , mathura road.

        According to the service adviser my car is to be delivered on 2/09/11 . but yet my car is not ready and he is not giving me any satisfactory answer, every time he give me some or the other reason. he is still not able to tell me the proper date when my car will be delivered. and on every call he promise to call back soon and repair it as soon as possible and deliver it.
        i am really fed-up with your services and your after sale customer service.

        by this mail we need to know till when my car will be delivered and all the reason why are the delays are been done.

        I absolutely agree that the service levels are really bad. I got my rear tail light changed and paid more than tha MRP on the light. I still have that MRP marked sticker and the paid bill at Volksagen Service, Metropolitan, Okhla. Dont know what to do with these guys having otherwise good product.

          I am Sakshi Aggarwal here. I am resident of Karnal district in Haryana. I purchased Vento Diesel car having Engine No. CLN15957, Chasis No. WVWD11602BT048709 on 20/04/11. On 6 Sept 2011, my husband was driving on Highway. Suddenly one maruti 800 hit our car from at Bonnet side and damage most of the portion of front side of the car. After strike by small car like Maruti 800, Vento could not maintain balance on Highway and finally fell into deep mud hole. Even after such big hit, air bags did not open at the spot and ABS Could not stop the car running only at 90 Km/hr.

          After contact the company showroom in Karnal(Haryana)in India, they are responding with one line " Air Bag will open only when car will face more powerful collision and ABS can work only this much of level". What was told at the time of purchase, nothing come true.

          I am owning cars from other companies also. But i faced life threatening incident with Volkswagen only. I am seeing whether Volkswagen will take some action and solve my problem as soon as possible.

          Would you please follow my case and tell them to solve the problem from the roots as I am working and they make me suffer a lot. This is a very bad reputation to VW cars.

            If you are planning to buy a Volkswagen pause read our experience and then decide.

            It is not ‘Das Auto’ as they claim.

            Firstly, none of the dealers understand what is meant by customer orientation. The dealers change their colors once the sale is closed.

            We booked the vehicle through Volkswagen Downtown Bangalore,Magrath road.

            Post sales service was horrendous. It took us three months and five follow up calls to get the car papers and RC smart card.

            The vehicle pick up is very slow and not encouraging. We had almost decided to surrender back the car. Unfortunately for us our 4 month old Volkswagen Polo had met with an accident and this was the acid test for Volkswagen’s service.

            We choose to try with the only other dealer in Bangalore and it was nightmare getting the car repaired from Volkswagen Palace Cross. It was delivered to them on August 10th.

            The vehicle was delivered on Wednesday, August 31st after several repeated follow up calls and escalations. It took them almost 3 weeks of ‘service time’. All our excitement went down the drain on inspecting the car as the condition was completely unprofessional and work done on the car was extremely sloppy. There are numerous scratch marks, dents and unfinished edges that illustrate the lack of care with which Volkswagen handle their products On opening the bonnet we were ashamed of having bought this car from this well reputed automobile firm as the insulation/damper was completely torn apart. I have attached a picture of the bonnet after the car came from service. On asking the staff about the problem we were told that a rat had eaten away the insulation over the days of repair.


            Personally, I think Volkswagen must pump in as much money into their customer care as they do in marketing their products. From our past experiences with Skoda, Maruti, Fiat and Honda we have never seen such horrible customer service. I would not recommend buying a Volkswagen car to anyone and deeply regret having bought one already.


            The special edition of Times Of India with a tablet battery music or silver coated special pull out front page does not make a difference to end consumers.
            Volkswagen would be better off improving customer service than spending money on advertising.

            It is only now we understand the value of Fiat , Maruthi and Honda service levels.

            I have purchased VW Polo petrol in 2011, now I have to take service. I have booked three times but they changed my date. Still I did not get service date. My suggesion is dont go for VW cars.

              My Jetta met with a bad accident and the airbags never deployed. Thankfully no one was hurt.

              My driver was driving and I was at the back seat - as you can see from the picture, it was a bad accident.

              This is a serious issue on their safety claim and with 8 air bags and none deploy, I shudder to think how safe the car really is.

              I want an explanation from VW on the same and would like a new car + compensation for bearing this trauma.

                I had purchased a Volks wagen Vento car nearly about 1 month ago. But the car is defected , when i drive it in the absene of sun i.e in morning or evening a huge amount of fog is formed on the front and rear miror and the defoggr is unable to defog that fog. When it complaint to the showroom for this cause. The said that they will repair the vehicle inplace of replacing it.
                Sir, the car is very costly. So, you are requested to plaease take an urgent action so that the company will replace m vehicle

                  Hi,

                  I bought VW Vento Highline TDI on March 21st 2011 from Mangalore as the vehicle had a long booking period in Bangalore. After buying the vehicle my worst of the days started as the service center of VW in Bangalore is pathetic. Auto up function of the rear window in my car was not working within one week from the time I bought the vehicle & I took the vehicle promptly to Bangalore Down Town Service station who repaired it but charged me for the repair. I asked them promptly if there is something called warranty for which I was told these kind of repairs are not covered under warranty. After this in a couple of months I noticed crack on my windshield (Again manufacturing defect) & again I had to take the vehicle to the same service station as only 2 service stations are available in Bangalore & the other service station is about 45kms from my place. I was told that the windshield would be replaced under warranty by Mr. Kumar at Down Town but after 3 days when I asked about the status & went to collect the vehicle I was told that warranty was not approved. Again when I demanded to provide warranty reject documents is when the dealer sent it for warranty (which I came to know later) & the pictures which were shown to VW was also not the pictures of my car. This I realized after taking delivery by paying complete amount & when I went back I was told VW did not approve but the matter of fact is as they had not sent the case for warranty claim earlier they only wanted to cover up for their act & had mailed VW photos which was not of my car.

                  After this in the month of August on a weekend I noticed that the engine faulty light was on in the dashboard. As it was weekend I tried to contact the toll free number wherein a technical person spoke to me & I explained the technical person that I have noticed a wire which had come out of the socket near air filter. The technical guy asked me to take the vehicle to the same service station in spite of explaining him the horrifying experience which I was going through & promised me that the wire would be replace under warranty.

                  After this I took the vehicle & gave the vehicle for repair on 22nd August & promised date of delivery was also 22nd August. But I was not given the vehicle for the next 3 days & when I went to take the delivery of the vehicle as usual no warranty was claimed & I was promptly handed over the bill. But when I asked for explanation on for all manufacturer's defect am I responsilbe no one has been able to answer.

                  I have written several times to VW on the horrifying experience which I & other VW buyers in Bangalore have been going through I have not recieved the revert. Please help me....

                  yup, agreed, owning a VW car is a curse, I myself been suffering from this. Its all across the country not just for a particualr dealer..
                  i have also given my polo car for central locking system not working on 15th of oct m/s abra motors chennai, till today they are yet to solve the problem, its going to be one month, there is no respone from higher ups or solution given to me.whom should i contact further. if anybody could help me on this i will be very greatfull.ajoykumar
                  i gave my polo in mount road showroom.. the service manager took down my only complaint for the first service- the front windows were not working..
                  the response was when i went to take my car back 4 days later as that was the delivery time fixed - the had put the fuse from the rear windows and now the problem has been very ably shifted location but not solved. the fact is they dint bother to look into the job card till the last minute.. very poor vacuum cleaning inside..on top of everything the service manager tried to force meto give him the best score in customer feedback... long live the attitude of service persons of V W
                  I given my car polo given for inspection and cleaning at Volkswagen Deccan at up pal, there is no proper cleaning and bad work even though I paid the work done by them was very poor.there is no standard work . Manger name is Srikanth, advisor name Arun they made manipulation in invoice bill .i didn't expected from Volkswagen service center.they were literally back of money and work is nil.
                  Am requesting you to take action.unnecessary these people r spoing the brand and standards of compAny

                    GEAR LOCKED OF Volkswagen Vento


                    Sir, I had purchased Volkswagen Vento AUTOMATIC
                    on 10 june at Surat dealer- Navjivan

                    The car has run 3920 Km till now
                    On 22 August the car stopped working
                    problems faced were-
                    1. The battery ran down
                    2. On calling, a company's employee came,
                    he tried with some techniques and
                    further increased the problem
                    - The Gear got locked and is jammed
                    it could not be turned to Neutral or any other mode

                    A crane was called to lift the car and is taken somewhere

                    I don't know where the car is and it's been 5days
                    I don't have the car

                      I had purchased a VW Polo (MH43 AJ 6336) about 2 mths back, the car has hardly done about 1000Km till date as it is hardly used. Suddenly over the last few days i observed that the (coil) indicator in the dashboard had been flashing.

                      Today i took it to their workshop in andheri east, firstly they took about 20min to attend to me while i was waiting. Then i explained the problem to Mr. Gunga Patil.

                      I received a call from Mr. Patil after 2 hrs stating that the problem was due to the wiring being damaged by a rodent, when i asked him to replace the wiring i was told that the wiring comes with the sensor which would cost me approx Rs.3000, if this wire was so critical shouldnt this be concealed or was VW not expecting rodents to damage this. In India the cars are parked in the building compounds which is exposed to rodents. Either they should have concealed the wiring or should replace the sensor at their cost.

                      This sounds more like a clear problem with their design, which should have been rectified. But they seem to be blissfully not interested..

                      I have other vehicles from other manufacturers & have never faced a problem, this is a design failure on part of VW.

                      If this exists with Polo then the same would be the case with Vento as well as both have similar construct.

                        This is my third enquiry but sorry to say Volkswagen company customer service doesn’t respond. How they will take complain of its dealer.
                        I believe i have to talk to corporate level. I found very poor customer service, not at all at par with the brand its carry.

                        I have purchased my Volkswagen Vento Car from KSM motor, Navi Mumbai.
                        I have been charged Rs 69304 against the Registration & Tax.

                        I have received the receipt of Rs 62415 against RTO & Rs 300 for registration charges.

                        That mean Dealer has charged Rs 6589 as extra.
                        I have enquired with Volkswagen customer care , whether Volkswagen authorized their dealer to charge extra for the service provided, but they are not responding.
                        I believe VOLKSWAGEN doesn’t have such bad service worldwide.

                        I rate after sale service of KSM Volkswagen very poor.

                          I hope someone from Volkswagen is listening. I bought VW-Vento in the very month of its launch. I had great hopes about its service quality, but I am fully disappointed. This so called German car maker had forgotten what is quality of service after they opened shop in INDIA! They are as good as any other company in India for "poor quality of service". They are interested only in selling cars and least bothered about service. For Hyderabad you will see only one workshop listed on VW site. They don't even provide a consumer complaint email or phone numbers. In Hyderabad PPS Motors (Orion motors) in Madhapur is the service provider and they never stick to their commitments. I wonder when they will provide good quality workshops along with selling their so called international brands.

                          These PPC motors guys are one of the worst service providers. I also booked a vento with these guys. They never answer the phone nor they never care to reply the customers call. The big Joke is their CEO. Instead of trying to understand the customer issues and solve them, this guys try to blame the customer and is very harsh with the customers. My first feeling is this guy feels as if he is the Prime Minister of India. I dont think even the PM of India will deal in such a way with Public (customers).

                          I dont know if its the GERMAN way of handling and responding to the customer!! Volkswagen are you listening to customer comments! If you are dumb and sleeping you will lose the Indian market share because of these kind of dealers.

                          My sincere advice to people buying Volkswagen in Hyderabad is not to go to the Jubilee HIlls showroom. I heard that the Secunderabad dealer is much better compared to these guys. Also if possible try to avoid Volkswagen brand because after Sales service is also pretty bad.
                          I am sure almost every customer of Volkswagen has one or the other issue with the ppc motors. They are actually cheating the customers by levying them with repair and serivice charges which otherwise if attended in time before the guarantee period would have been covered. I had complained about my ac being not very effective during the last period of service under the warranty period. They said it's perfect and everything seems to be good. I specifically told them if there is anything that needs to be taken care of ... Please do so as this will be the last service under the warranty period...and they told me everything was in condition. Now three months after my ac has totally stopped giving out any cold air...I took my car to the service centre and they told me the ac compression has failed...now it costs me 75000 to fix it...I am flabbergasted and I plan to take this very seriously...if my car has shown signs of failure genuinely after the service period I would not mind getting it done...but this a serious case of felony and customer cheating. If a dealer has failed then it's company has failed too...you can earn profits but by cheating your own customers is an insult to the company. I am going to file case at the local consumer court very soon. I am not doing this to get my ac fixed free or something...I am going to do this because I want them to know the hardships of facing justice behind an act of felony.

                            we have purchased a car before 1 month and it has just runed 2400 kms and now car is not working the service center people are saying that we cannot do anything this work is not our and now car is in service centre from last 20 days and they said do wht ever we cant help u at any cost according to them engien is seased but i want the solution and i am not getiing it please let me know wht can be done

                              I own polo petrol ch.no.WVWJ1060GBT008629 it has covered 4000 kms.The car was purchased from Genuss chd.on[protected]. The rear shock absorver is apparently leaking and this thing was disclosed to service adviser in order to seek appointment on Ph. No. 3066666 on 18-07-11 who told we are too busy and come next week but didnt confirm day or date , I was willing to get it done this week itself as the car remains at Rohtak Haryana. I explained the problem that vehicle has been called specially for this repair and has to be send back by Friday. The service adviser told me to get it done at Karnal on way back.
                              Same day i called the dealership again to get Ph.No.of Karnal dealer and to talk to VW North Zone Service Head Iwas told they dont have the no. and gave me Karnal no. [protected]and helpline [protected] . Karnal people told me they dont have the part
                              in stock. Then i called helpline 1800.......and on pressing 2 and on disclosing problem i was put on coonference with one Munish who was very humble and told me he will check and give callin 30 minutes .which i made after sufficiently waiting but he send an sms he is busy.
                              Isend him message on 19 july he replies take the car to karnal i told him they dont have stockof the part.Then i recieve call from karnal again that Chd. also has no stock. even the delivery was not smooth . The dealer is a cheat and no service at all .where the customer should go Vw has sold cars without having infrastructure and spares.thats worlds no 1 co treating the customers diffrently here only making fools and taking advantage of weak law enforcement.

                                This is in regards to my booking for a NEW PASSAT Diesel HIGHLINE, White Colour. I have booked the car under the sales contract no. 20062, Dated : 18th April, 2011, with advance amount of Rs. 3 Lacs, Under the name of Surbhi Textile Mills Pvt. Ltd., for delivery schedule in June,2011.

                                Despite many talks with the concerned person of the dealer Mr. Maunish Mistry and Mr. Tejas Desai (GM) , Mr. Vinay Patel, till date there is no fixed date for the delivery of the car and i do not get any proper response from the dealers as well. For complains, i have called many times to Volkswagen Mumbai on[protected], but i have no proper response.

                                Kindly take a note of it and possibly give me a confirmed scheduled date for the same.

                                  I have a VW Passat (engine no. – WVWM083C89A000244, Registration No. – AP 10 AT 101)
                                  My car had a manufacturing defect (as admitted by Volkswagen) and so the connecting rod in the engine block broke into pieces. The car stopped while commuting on a highway putting the lives of my family and me in danger as truck just about missed our car by a few inches. The car was taken away by the workshop after 5-6 hours o[censored]s waiting there, still recovering from the trauma just suffered from the unforeseen malfunction.

                                  Having explained the almost miraculous escape we had from a life threatening accident by a just few inches due the carelessness of the company I presumed that the Volkswagen would respond to it with priority; but; to my surprise even after about 2 weeks of reporting the incident I didn’t even get a call from someone responsible enough to handle this. Such is the competence of Volkswagen.
                                  After many weeks of chasing them, they finally offered me a new engine, while I kept insisting that there might me other defected parts too and also that a new engine might not work well with the rest of the parts being 52,000 km old. They kept saying that nothing would go wrong as it’s just about a year old. I even offered to buy the 2011 Passat by paying the difference from the company depreciated value of my existing car, they would not agree to this either!

                                  Having been left with no choice, I was returned my car with a new engine. It’s been 2 weeks since and there has not been a single day that I have not had problems with the car.
                                  - The low coolant light glows every 2 days
                                  - The suspension makes all sorts of sounds
                                  - The AC vents makes all sort of noises
                                  - I have to keep making trips of the service station
                                  - I have no idea when a part of the car might give up

                                  For a car worth Rs. 28 lakh, the brand is extremely incompetent of handling the after sales service for a car of this segment. I can only sympathize with other customers of Volkswagen who own any of their products.

                                  I would also request anyone having cars with engine number in the same series to be aware of a similar defect in the car.

                                  I would like to bring this to the management of Volkswagen to review their service operations in India.

                                    I have inquired about volkwagen polo at AUTO MARK MOTORS PVT LTD....situated at rajkot....

                                    But they are threatning and exploiting me that i will have to compulsorily take accessories with the car if i want to buy car from there showroom.

                                    and when i inquired abt vento they told me to give premium for it.

                                    They also told me that the procedure of RTO INSURANCE will be done by them....but there amount of RTO INSURANCE is too high.

                                    THIS IS PURE WHITE COLAR GUNDA GIRI.

                                    I have many other options but as we are living in INDEPENDENT INDIA i think we should not face such gundagiri.

                                      CAR SENT TO VOLKSWAGEN SERVICE CENTER AT LAL BAUG MUMBAI - DEALER SHAMAN CARS
                                      NO PROPER SERVICE PROVIDED AND VERY IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOR
                                      THE COMPANY DOES NOT CHECK THE PROBLEM PROPERLY AND JUST HAS A GLANCE THROUGH THE DAMAGED PART. MY SIDE VIEW MIRROR WAS BROKEN AND THE COMPANY SAID I WILL HAVE TO REPLACE THAT MIRROR ALONG WITH THE BODY.
                                      I AGREED TO THE REPAIR AND THE COST ASSOCIATED WITH IT. I ASKED THEM FOR INSURANCE CLAIM AND EVEN THAT WAS APPROVED. NOW THE PROBLEM IS THAT THE RIGHT AND LEFT SIDE MIRRORS DO NOT ALIGN WITH EACH OTHER AND THE COMPANY SAYS THEY WILL HAVE TO REPLACE THE RIGHT MIRROR AS WELL. THE COMPANY IS JUST INCREASING THE COST OF SERVICE & REPAIR SO THAT THEY CAN BENEFIT FROM THIS.
                                      MY CAR HAD ALREADY GOT THE RIGHT HAND MIRROR FIXED SOMETIME BACK AND NOW THE COMPANY SAYS IT WILL AGAIN HAVE TO BE FIXED.
                                      THIS IS SO WRONG ON THE PART OF VOLKSWAGEN INDIA.

                                      AT THE VOLKSWAGEN SHOWROOM WHEN CUSTOMERS CAME FOR THE SERVICING THE VEHICLE THEY ARE FORCED TO USE THE ENGINE OIL WHICH IS RECOMENDED BY VOLKSWAGEN i.e. CASTROL MAGNATEC 5W40 ENGINE OIL. IT IS VERY UNFAIR WITH THE CUSTOMER THAT COMPANY SAYS THAT VOLKSWAGEN RECOMMENDS CASTROL BUT IT IS NOT LIKE TAHT VOLKSWAGEN RECOMMENDS ONLY CASTROL. IF ANY CUSTOMER WANTS TO USE ANY DIFFEREND BRAND OF ENGINE OIL . SERVICING DEPARTMENT CUSTOMERS ALSO FORCE THE CUSTOMER TO MUST USAGE FOR THE ONLY CASTROL ENGINE OIL. THEY ARE REALLY VERY RUDE AND THEY ALSO NOT SELLING THE SERVICING RELATED PARTS AS A COUNTER SALE FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS LIKE PETROL, DISEL, OIL& AIR FILTERS. BECAUSE, IF THEY DO THAT AND ALSO THREATENS THAT COMPANY WILL DISCOUNTINUE OF THIER WARRANTY CONTRACT. I THINK THAT IS DEPEND ON THE CUSTOMER WHICH OIL CAN BE USED BY HIM. THEY CAN NOT ASK OR RATHER FORCE FOR THE ISSUE.
                                      yes i totally aree with you.we sent our car-polo(highline) for first service and they really behaved very badly.Car was badly done--means not cleaned properly.whole of the petrol was used.When i started the car from showroom there was zero petrol in my car---They kept my car for 10days and used it like their own car.VERY IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVOIUR.I NEED EMAIL OF PERSON WHOM TO COMPLAINT.THIS HAPPENED IN DELHI --MOHAN COOPERATIVE AREA.

                                      VW Passt 27lacs top end bought in 2007 November
                                      Since than every year 2 months car is been in the showroom following are major faults
                                      1.A/C cooling car send continuously periodically to showroom for first 2 years
                                      2.ECG electronics unit failure costing 1.5Lacs we had to bare part not available car stuck for 3 weeks
                                      3.Sunroof failure repairing took 2 months parts not available
                                      4.Ongoing complaint of water leakage since 3 years now still not able to solve.
                                      1st year (monsoon) rubber bush of the boot torned part not available not replaced sticked with sealant
                                      2nd year (monsoon) same problem rubber bushes changed charges paid by me
                                      3rd year (monsoon) same problem following drama is going on
                                      Note:In this last three years the water leakage has destroyed the back seat leather cover completely
                                      Current case: Car given to workshop on 12th August no follow up from any VW service manager every time I had to follow up to know about the status, first weeks analysis leakage from rubber bush they need to be changed again extra leakage found in sunroof pipe line due to dry leafs stuck, I demanded change of covers and fixing leakage FOC against manufacturing defect no response for 2 weeks than after my follow up i came to know VW is trying to blame us for some denting painting work done on the boot in some local garage causing water leakage. I do not accpet the blame since it is not correct VW is just trying to blame it all on me to save there cost. Since that i have send several mails and called several times i have never got any proper response and my car is stuck at the workshop

                                      Need consumer court support to fight this out

                                      I am sorry to inform you, that after purchase of Polo in Jan, 2013. The car is running smoothly up till 22nd May, 2014. After that a starting problem has been arisen since 23rd May, 2014, and the new car is started by help of outside porter. I can not expect that, the company like you, such type of car is sold where there is a major starting problem which can not be rectified by your authorised service station OSL Exclusive Private Limited 43, Topsia Road, Arupota, Dhapa, Kokata 105, for observation and servicing purpose I have delivered my car into the Topsia workshop on 25th May, 2014 under Sanjay Karmakar (SA). I have specially requested, that kindly take special care as the case is very senstive like 'starting problem', in that case also instructed to keep observation they can take time 3-4 days for their observation to get rid of this problem. They have released the car on 30th May, 2014 with the pre undersigned of satisfaction declaration that this kind of starting problem will not be repeated in future.

                                      I am very sorry to inform you, that the said problem is arisen again within a week, how can I rely on your services provided by authorised service station in Kolkata.

                                      Requesting you take necessary action to get rid of this problem in future.

                                      Respected sir, iam using my vento car from four years in visakhapatnam and my service is due on may 5 this year and when i went to rhe showroom i was shocked to see that the showroom is closed and iheard that showroom is not there in visakhapatnam and and when i called the customercare center i heard a reply that i have to bring my car to guntur which is nearly 400 kms from my destination and your cal center peraon said to bring there otherwise they cant do anything and cut down the cal i was very shocked to hear a company like volkswagen is that much worst at that stage i came to know i want to know what should ido for my service because as its apetrol and nearly 400kms ride icant go to guntur and iwant to know what answer the company wl give and after that i think of what to do regarding my car and then iwl take advice from all the customers in visakhapatanam and then we wl do what is necessary but u have to do something for us to provide service here only

                                        it was really bad experience buying car from your dealer at world class automobiles paschim vihar new delhi india. we were thrilled that we are buying a international brand but after waiting for 50 days all expectations from your co. burs ted. we went to take the delivery of Polo from your dealer on[protected] we founded that the car was not looking new and that the plastic cover was totally crushed and was also torned, seeing this we asked that we will not take the delivery of this vehicle and also since in trendline model the door handle and side mirrors are black but in that car they were painted white for which the excuse was given that it was booked by some other client and since he has not turned up so we will give this car to you but as we were not interested in taking the delivery of that car so the dealership humbly told us that they will give another car but since it is lying at there moti nagar warehouse and also it requires washing and pdi so we can come after 2 hours. we also make our consent as to better wait than to take used car, when we turned up again we were shocked to see that the same car was offered but this the difference was the door handle were turner black and side mirrors were also turned black. after showing ignorance about the incident the manager there have to admit that they have tried to sell the same car, as i have given them enough proof that it was the same car. after this incident i have lost all my confidence in your brand because if you can change door handles and side mirrors then you can also change other essential parts which can be harmful for me and for my family.
