I have booked two travelers for Fusion Europe and paid the booking amount of Rs 85, 000 on 18.08.2016. One of the traveler has got ill due to cardiac problem and was advised not to undertake journey . Immediately booking was cancelled on 28.08.2016 together all medical reports.
Cox & Kings told that cancellation was on account of medical ground full amount would be refunded . Now all of a sudden they have changed the track and and telling that you claim the refund from underwriter .
This is totally uncalled for, unethical and CHEAT by COX & KINGS

    Ref : American Bonanza 13days/14 nights departure New Delhi 22nd July 2016.
    Dear Sir
    As per itinerary. on Day 1 we were promised illumination tour of Times Square but the promised tour did not take place. We were deprived of Times Square.
    Day 1 after the tour Dinner was guaranteed. But no Dinner were provided and we had to sleep empty stomach.
    In Washington DC we were promised guided tour. But the guides always came late and hence the tour could not be completed.
    We request compensation to be provided to us for bad and poor service.

      Hi,
      I have used cox and kings for the below services
      1. Renew passport for my father
      2. Renew passport for my husband
      3. Renunciation form
      4. Oci application

      All the above services where a pain to complete. Passport renewal was hard until i filed for an oci which was the worst service.

      They don't have clear instructions for any of their services. We have to dig into multiple threads and post by individuals who have used the service before to get a good understand. The links that they have on the website never works. Why provide links if they cant have them functional.
      Online paper submission is a joke. Instead of making life easy it tests the patience of the person.
      My last experience was for my mothers oci card. The last email we received on july 1st mentioned that the, "oci card was printed and is dispatched to the indian embassy /consulate in usa. The next step after the oci card reaches usa is that the dispatch will be sorted and then you will be accordingly informed by email when to send your us passport/foreign passport for match up with oci card. As soon as ckgs receives an update, the status on the tracking page will be revised accordingly."
      They have also provided links within the email. I tried using the link and entering the tracking id and passport number. It always returned an error.

      Today is august 15, i haven't received an email from cox and kings to send my mothers passport. Finally i used the website (On a computer instead of phone) to check her status. According to the website, they are waiting for her passport.
      This is so frustrating. They never provide any clear instructions or information. During our process they called me saying that we need to send a shipping label to send her current passport back. There is no mention of that anywhere on their website. This is true incompetence on their side. This is how poorly they represent the embassy of india for important matters like these. This is totally unacceptable.

      FYI, the shipping label I mentioned above was to send her US passport back. I already paid for another return mail during the initial process. They never asked for 2 return shipping labels during the initial process

        I have been without my passport for 30 days. I submitted an application through cox and kings and they have lost it completely. When i receive an email update, it is indecipherable. Calls to their call center are on hold for 1 hour plus and then they request that i wait for a resolution for 24/48 hours. Every person i speak to tells me a different story and no one knows where my application is

        A formal investigation of their practices should be undertaken before more passports are lost (Or stolen.)

          This tour is being outsourced to red apple by cox & kings, only they have deputed a tour manager who has little control over red apple.
          Bangkok tour.
          It was fine, coach, driver, local guide, food, hotel, sight seeing are fantastic, no problem
          Malaysia tour
          One of the coach driver to some rude, misbehave with some passenger, the food in malacca was below standard, others ok
          Singapore
          The hotel room was too small, food was average, but problem was in the optional tour, tour manager asked whether anyone want the tour o[censored]niversal studio, being new in singapore we about 20 people agreed and paid 110 singaporedollar per person, she provided bus for us as usual the guide counted us to universal studio by bus and asked join around 6 pm, we came at the fixed point at 6.15 pm sharp, we could not find the guide or bus. We waited up to 7-45 pm for bus but we could not find the bus. The bus came with 6 passenger. It was not informed to us neither by guide nor by tour manager. As we were new there we have managed to came back to hotel by taxi.
          We asked the tour manager, she told that bus waited for you upto 6.30 pm. So false statement by the guide, we were astonished to hear.
          During the it had happened if one person is missing within fixed time bus did not move even time was also there when we all came back, bus was not there. But in this case how they left us in unknown place?
          Secondly the price of the ticket is 73 singapore dollar, if we went by taxi it would cost 9 s dollar by taxi (4 person in a taxi) up & dn. Total cost comes;77 s dollar
          Here even by paying 33 s dollar extra, the bus left left 14 passengers in a unknown place, i think it becoming the source of income of tour manager as i seen in my last tour of europe whirl..In paris gondola ride, and in switzerland (Charlie chaplin crimation place) mr, diniar patel, tour manager also collected extra money from passenger more than normal rate.
          This creates a bad image of cox & kings not of tour manager. The tour manager makes money from passenger by unlawful means. I do not whether cox & king has a share of it or notyou should fixed the money for each optional tour and get it informed to all passengers before the tour and should asked the tour manager the accounts of the optional tour and advice not loot the passengers.

            I had booked a europe trip through cox and kings nagpur branch where they did a booking date confirmation for 4th july and return on 17th july. however they conviniently changed date saying the group could not be formed for said date. since the date was not suitable for me i cancelled the trip however they have not refunded my flight ticket cost. it was booked after i got confirmation from cox and kings and i booked a non refundable flight ticket thinking the dates are confirmed. kindly help me to get the refund of the flight ticket.

              Complete defaulter behaviour, keep asking money in a way as they are blackmailing, initially asking for booking amount then start blackmailing in shadow of forefitting the booking amount, no one is there for some responsible behaviour, worst experience traveling with cox n kings, never refer any one for this company

                Dear All,

                please if you are planning for international tour package, please I request you to not to go with Cox and Kings traveler.

                We have 6N/7d TOUR Package by C&K and our flight was from 27/5/16 in the morning 4.50 a.m. and return 2/6/16 4.20 p.m.

                Somehow the 27/5/16 flight was cancelled and after that with heavy heart we have to take the evening flight i.e. 9.35 pm.

                We claimed C&K to extend 1 day as our flight was cancelled but C&K denied to extend, and told that it was not our fault its airline fault. And we already paid full payment to C&K in advance for 6N/7D but in the same tour package payment we spent only 5N/6D.

                The C&K denied to take any responsibilities and we beared the 1 day extra expense.

                So, I suggest you to take local tour organiser instead of hiring brand like C&K. They have worst management, worst staff and worst experience with C&K.

                  Disillusioned experience

                  I had booked ‘cox and kings’ ‘amhi travelkar 2016 – romanchak europe’ scheduled on 02nd june 2016 from your chinchwad office.

                  The experience was bad from 1st encounter when i went to your chichwad office to enquire about the tour. The office was deserted!!! I had to call – up your in charge of office, ‘ashwini shinde’ and wait for her arrival.

                  Same story was repeated when i went to chinchwad office to make the initial payment for tour (22nd feb 2016).

                  Looks like you don’t have any business here so the office is always deserted.

                  Further to my bookings, i was the one to keep in touch with ‘ashwini shinde’ ma’am to complete the booking formalities. She never replied to my calls and seldom replied to texts. (I do have the whats app messages archived!!!)

                  You happen to be in a service industry (Unfortunately though) but your chinchwad office in charge was very reluctant to extend any services such as someone to collect documents from my home.

                  As the departure date approached and no communication was established from your end, i went panic and started to follow up with ashwini ma’am again!!! After me calling her for 3-4 days continuously, she told me that the tour is called-off!!!

                  I remained patient, and asked her for alternative tours. She gave me two options just unacceptable. Still i made up my mind and chose one of those tours.

                  Then came the final blow……

                  Though i had given copies of passports (My mom and dad’s, for whon i had booked the tour) on the very same day of booking tour, ‘ashwini shinde’ ma’am asked me to resubmit the copies in her office, as she can’t locate the copies given by me earlier!!! Can you imagine??

                  That was the last straw, and i decided to ask for refund.

                  Again, ‘ashwini shinde’ stopped all the communication and never helped with refund.

                  It was your mr. Hemat karkar, customer liaison officer who helped with my refund.

                  I am happy that i got my refund, and my parents are travelling to europe with a much better travel company.

Why the hell you guys need more time then actually we have booked the tour before three months.. Do cox n kings need three months to book a flight which is part of there itenary.

                    I mean itna time to ek ladki kisi proposal ko accept karne ke liye nahin leti..
                    The way miss rachna replies ki she need more time is something like
                    U guys are running a matrimonial service or u running a travel agency that u need more time to think..

                      Worst! Worst! Worst! Tour...
                      During 20 days trip of Europe they just tried to save money. Hotels were not according to level of package they promised for. Worst food was provided. Non-co-operative guide with worst behaviour even hotels were far from the cities. It was not a tour it was torture. Misbehaviour of the tour guide was cherry on top. They didn't even cared of aged people in the tour, people of age 55, 60 and 70 were carrying their luggage for even 200 to 300 meters. It was really a bad experience, even bad is not enough for cox and kings

                        I had booked an Europe tour for my parents for 21 days and 22 nights with Cox and Kings from Bangalore. I had done this booking on January of 2016 for a trip leaving on June 14th 2016. One month back they told us that there are no 21 day europe trips happening at all. This was the first shock, because when in January they put out an advertisement, it mentioned dates for tours every weekend starting from april uptil August. This is the first level of cheating they do. Please keep this in mind when you are booking. They will put this as a disclaimer saying if enough people dont sign up for the trips, it may be cancelled or pre poned. But if they dont have a single trip starting from June. One should not put up a trip list from June to August based on every week. The consumer should be part of the decision making.
                        Second part of the story is now they are not even sure if they can put us on any other tour. The way they deal with you is to make sure their butts are covered. They dont give a rats butt to what the customer/consumer wants. I would suggest not to consider Cox & Kings. They ride on the fact that, if you wont sign up, there lots of them waiting to sign up. This is not the way a company's attitude should be. Pathertic and lousy service. Feel like taking them to court on these matters. But nor worth my time.

                          Worst experience with cox and kings after paying rs 2.5 lacs per person for europe tour (8th may to 22nd may 2016). Most unprofessional tour manager, who left the group on 2nd last day and the group was left to the mercy of coach driver for disneyland paris. Only 2.5 hrs given for disney land paris and my aged parents survived with no lunch inspite of bp and diabties!!! Tour manager was interested only in shopping as he got commissions from the shopping and was always ready to change itinerary for shopping!!

                          Tour manager was a lier - he used to lie about distances to remove itinerary items.

                          Horrifying experience of my parents who are 70 years of age with cox and kings. At the end no pickup was arranged by cox and kings from mumbai airport to pune and parents were forced to hire their own cab.

                          Never ever cox and kings... Kesari experience is 100% professional.

                            Hello all,
                            I want to share my “experience” of europe tour (European discovery) dated 06th may, 2016 booked by cox and kings (Noida sec-18 branch).
                            Being from a normal middle class family, europe was always my dream tour. I and my wife both started saving for this tour from the very first day we got married.
                            It was very clear in our mind that we will choose the best tour company. There were only three brands in our mind thomas cook, cox and kings and sotc. With sheer confidence and belief, we choose cox and kings to fulfil our biggest dream till date.
                            We did all the formalities (Payment, visas etc.) in timely manner and started our journey with enthusiasm and thrill. It went well till we came in problematic situation.
                            When we reach heidelberg, i felt some blisters on my face and hands. There was one doctor on our tour and he suggested consulting a doctor here as he diagnosed it as chicken pox and we cannot get medicine in europe without prescription.
                            It was from that time that our good experience turned into bitter experience:
                            Our tour manager (Mr. Anil edwin) dropped us in the middle of street of innsbruck and said to visit doctor by your own and with our own expenses. He even told us to come to the hotel mentioning address of the hotel and hospital in a piece of paper. We did exactly what he said and took a taxi after the check up as we did not have any option in a foreign country for which we hardly knew anything.
                            When we came back to the hotel, it was already dinner time and my wife went for dinner. Mr. Edwin met her and asked about my health.
                            It was next morning when we got ready and packed our bags. We went for breakfast when he came running to ask for prescription. We gave him the same and after breakfast as usual started keeping our bags in our coach and sat there comfortably.
                            Mr edwin came to us and said that we will not be able to continue on this tour as he had a word with doctor that i cannot travel. We were shocked to hear this and asked him then what is next for us. We were obviously not ready for this as it was so sudden for us to accept.
                            False commitments:
                            With false commitments, he told us that company will take care of our expenses and we can stay in the hotel in innsbruck (Hotel olympia) and join the tour in switzerland after 3 days. He did not listen to us and told the driver to get our bags out of the coach.
                            Humilation:
                            It was such a humiliating situation when we were being asked to get off the coach in front of 35 people. This happened when we had paid a good amount of money to the company for this tour and were very sure that we chose the best tour company
                            No communication:
                            Days passed on and we did not receive any call from the tour company or mr. Edwin. We felt helpless and hopeless at that point in time.
                            Only after 3-4 days, mr. Edwin called us to inform that we will not be joining in switzerland. He did not seek confirmation but informed us for the same.
                            After that on 19th may, it was decided that we will travel to paris on our own expenses (By train) to join the tour there and travel back to india as our tickets were booked from paris. We were asked to pay the hotel bills for food for and then leave the hotel.
                            Lack of information:
                            When we reached train station with one of the hotel staff (Maria) who was arranging everything as per instructions of mr. Edwin, while booking tickets, we got to know that there is strike of paris trains. We were not informed of this by our tour manager as this strike was going on for days.
                            We then came back to the hotel and checked in to the same room, we did not have any option left except to fly from munich. We sms mr. Edwin for the same as were asked by him.
                            Demand of money:
                            We told our tour manager to book our tickets from munich to new delhi for 20th may but it did not happen. We got to know that we were required to pay the difference amount. Till the time it was not paid the booking did not happened. We further were asked to pay for hotel room, food for those two days.
                            Explaining this whole incident we have some questions in our mind from the renowned brand:
                             why we were dropped out from tour without any prior intimation?
                             why any responsible person from the company did not contact us? Why our booking office members were also silent and were not bothered about our situation?
                             why we were to bind to pay for our hotel stay and meal bills if we have paid so much to the company for this tour?
                             why the care taker of the hotel was playing role of doctor and decided our tour instead of any responsible person from the company.
                             why we were not joined with next group? If we had to pay expenses then it was better that we paid and completed our tour.
                             why there was so much delay in our return flight booking? We had to wait 2 days extra and pay for difference booking amount, hotel and meal charges.
                             why was an inhuman behaviour done to us?
                             had it being an old aged couple/ family, then also the company would have done same behaviour?
                            At last, i would like to seek explanation for the above incidence which was encountered by us.
                            If this was the treatment given to us by choosing such a well-known indian brand which is providing services in india for 200 years than i would have rather chosen some foreign brand and got humiliated.
                            Please let me know one good reason to prefer cox and king’s for my next tour.

                              Let me begin with the tour manager.
                              The tour manager wasim gurroo (Mobile no. +[protected] was very poor in all aspects of his job. Communication, knowledge or info on the places visited and day to day planning. He literally spoiled the tour for us.
                              Wasim gurroo always used to blame all other people other than himself for things going wrong rather than taking up responsibility and solving the problems. When we called up his manager ana (Mobile no. +[protected], she was also equally unwilling to hear us and take every one along

                              Wasim gurroo did not have proper information to share about any place and even when asked, he would evade answers. Other than shopping places (May be where he gets a commission) he would say there is nothing to see and waste of time.

                              In london we did not get to see buckingham palace due to his mismanagement.

                              In lucerne, he was not even willing to show us the lion monument and explain its significance until all the passengers forced him.

                              On the day of travel to pisa from innsbruck, the mismanagement reached the peak. He did not have the proper address of the hotel where lunch was supposed to be (He and his boss ana blamed it on the office of coxandkings boooking) by the time we finished lunch it was 3.45 pm. And we could hardly get any time in pisa to see the monuments. (May be 20 minutes). Since we were traveling with 2 kids 6 and 8 years, at 6.30 pm i asked him we could reach the hotel by 8.30pm in time for dinner and his answer was yes. But alas! We got stranded on the road in a petrol bunk which did not have any rest rooms or food until 12.30 pm in the night.
                              We reached the hotel only at 3 am in the night and we did not have dinner that night and the kids slept hungry. Until one of our co passenger mr. Mohit malhotra called up his boss and escalated the issue, we were not even sure what was happening during the time we were on road.

                              It appeared as if the tour manager wasim gurroo and in turn cox&kings had taken all the customers for granted and all o[censored]s felt cheated by his behavior for the price we have paid for this tour.


                              About the hotels:
                              The hotel in paris was sub standard (Can not give it any star rating) and did not even meet the basic courtesy of a hotel. It was 10 storied building with virtually non functional lift. We had to carry our luggage to room by steps. Rooms did not have locks, no toilet paper, hot water was not coming and not sufficient breakfast was planned and provided.
                              Hotel in padova was not clean and in fact the paint on the ceiling was falling down on the beds.
                              Rest of the hotels chosen were mostly motels and far away from the main locations of where we visited. We could not use our free time to local flavors of places we visited. I personally did not deem them as star hotels at all (Except in switzerland).

                              Overall the tour experience was too poor and far below expectation.

                              I would want to know how i am going to be compensated for such a high cost and low experience tour. If i do not hear how and when i am going to be compensated, i am planning to lodge a complaint in consumer forum.

                                I signed up for group tour for cox and kigs 8 days and 7 nights with cox and kings. Since my wife and daughter were travelling alone, i checked if was group travel and the travel agent assured me the same. They charged a premium. Travel was supposed have a tour organizer etc to the shock of the family, the group tour had just four. They were asked to travel in a innova for the entire journey. No push backs or volvo cars. But for the driver no tour organizer. During the travel there were heated arguments between the driver and the other 2 persons who travelled. My question is without the comforts of a luxury travel for over 10 hours from one location to another why should i pay so much. Why was i told that it was group tour, where a bunch of bank employee's were going. Why should pay so much. My wife has a very back back pain after the travel

                                  I have booked a tour to europe through coz and kings ghatkopar east branch. My tour is scheduled in last week of this month. My experience so far as been terrible (Am dreading my experience in europe already!!). None of service fee back is taken seriously, i am told please go ahead and complain, we cannot do anything about it... Effectively i get the impression that they are sure that no action will be taken if complaint is made to customer care and therefore they have such laid back attitude and are so arrogant... We could see a distinct change in their behavior after the entire money was paid by us... When we went for our visa appointment with senior citizens with us (Which was informed to them), they did not have the courtesy to inform us that it will take around 3 to 4 hours so make necessary arrangements for senior citizens, it is only when i came to know i opted for premier lounge and paid extra money out of my own pocket, when i asked them to reimburse i am being told by tanvi kashyab, who looks after ghatkoper that no refund will be provided and go ahead and complain... No only was the tone rude but attitude was laid back filled with arrogance... The matter is now elevated by us to the tanvi's senior, azim kazi... Who is yet to get back to us... I would just like to inform coz and kings that because of this attitude and poor service, i am going to take action against them in the consumer court...

                                    My wife and I are first time customers to C&K having booked a holiday to Uzbekistan on 07/03/16. Today, 06/05/16 I saw the same holiday being advertised at £150 p/p less. I asked to be considered for the new price and my request was refused. Had I bought the same holiday with SAGA I would have qualified for the new price because SAGA do not send customers on the same holiday paying different prices. It is called a Price Guarantee. My planned holiday with C&K to Georgia has just hit the trash can!

                                      Lousy customer service where the female staff has cheap attitude meant to be thrown out and no wonder they loose valuable good customers like me and all others are here who have expressed even them being cheated through Cox and Kings these should be reported to and make them shut down their cheating business and above all the idiotic females got thrown out first with their lousy cheap attitude doing a dum brainless job there.

                                        We have been cheated by Cox and Kings.
                                        Even after paying 100% tour cost Rs. 1, 76, 000/-, we could not travel. And now they say that the entire money has been forfieted on account of their cancellation charges.
                                        For travel to Dubai on 21 Jan 2016, Ms. Jerrilyn Dsouza of Cox and Kings, Marol, Mumbai, took our booking on 15 jan for 2 pax. We paid Rs. 20k as booking amt and Rs. 30k towards air tickets. We paid immediately through their payment link, immediately on 15 Jan itself along with copies of our passports.

                                        On 17 th Jan we paid another 30k. Then comes her phone that she forgot to add return travel charges, and the tour cost will increase by 24k.

                                        After lot of discussion, we had to accept to pay additional Rs. 11k. The on 18 th jan evening we called their call centre no. to Reminded their floor manager Mr. Navneeth about bisa documents not being asked for from us. In night, we mailed our photos (clicked at home on white background).

                                        Finally on 19th morning, we again mailed our photos clicked by professional photographer. We were asked to pay the entire balance payment in evening which we paid.

                                        20th we were forced to sign their travel agreement and the day spent in scanning the entire document and mail page by page.
                                        After vigorous follow up on 20th, by night we were sent the travel tickets and my wife's visa.

                                        On 21st, the travel date, spending the whole morning in follow up, just 1 hr before leaving home for airport, we were mailed the itenary with hotel vouchers. But my visa was not sent and i was asked to proceed to the airport and take print their.

                                        but did not apply for the Visa till 19 Jan morning. Thereafter on 20 Jan evening they sent only one visa, due to which we were not allowed to travel.

                                        Finally on way to airport, we got a call that my visa has been rejected by counselate due to some court case on me. Also this rejection has been verbal from the counselate. Now i should go to airport, and my wife should do some ' Rona Dhona' at Airlines office at jaipur airport to get my air tickets cancelled and take refund.

                                        This was misguiding, since 1) The dubai tourist visa is not issued by counselate, but by Authorised Travel Agents there.
                                        2) The rejection, if any, is never verbal.
                                        3) The visa was not at all rejected. It was later released on 23 Jan. Only that the Visa application was filed late - just 2 days before travel.
                                        4) There is no ticket counter pf Etihad at Jaipur Airport.
                                        5) Online booked tickets cannot be cancelled for cash on ticket counters.

                                        Finally, we had to return from Airport. Thereafter no response from cox and kings till next 15 days.
                                        I am definitely going to consumer forum. If anybody can support or guide. Pls call Sameer Gupta, Jaipur [protected].
