Hi there,

I always travel & go on holidays from cox and kings , i am one of the old client of their .... Service & other arrangement were good before but recently
what i found is company is not giving that proper attention towards the customers on their journey. Then i went in the depth to find out what has gone
wrong why company has become so careless or they got big money now ... So after finding out the truth i came to know that " staff who works for
cox and kings they actually make money for themselves by arranging the tour privately " so the profit is not depositing in cox and kings account ..It goes into the staff who has arrange the tour ... so that is why customers are badly effected & we held responsible for cox and kings & thats how companys name is spoil because of the such staff,,

I request to inform this issue to the boss of the company

    Complaint Against :- COX AND KINGS (Travel Agents)

    With reference to the above complaint, we would like to inform you as follows :

    1. We had engaged the services of Cox and Kings for the purpose of booking a tour to Japan and due to the negligent and monopolistic practices adopted by their personnel the tour had to be canceled leading to a huge amount of retention of our paid money from your side.
    2. We had called upon them to issue the refund to us for the balance amount and they informed that they would not issue the refund but would give the credit note for the same.
    3. Despite our protests regarding the same, we had no option but to settle the matter with them as per their whims and fancies and called upon them to issue the credit note in our favor.
    4. We have been trying to get in touch with them over the phone since the past many days however they are either not answering or stating that the person is in training and or not on duty and we feel that they are avoiding to answer our calls for the reasons best known to you.

    We have given them final notice calling upon them to issue the credit note , however they have ignored the same

        We took a europe tour through cox and kings coimbatore. They itinerary which was shown to us has been revised by the travel agents without our knowledge that is also when we started the trip and we have not been informed of any changes. They told that the trip will be going on as per itinerary. But today we are in paris now we have been informed that their is no lunch, we are not going to visit venice, innsbruck, geneva - which were all given to us he original itinerary. No one in cox and kings office is attending the phone and no one give us any explanation. All the five days we had not much of sight seeing. First he landed us in zurich on 22nd sep 2011, put us in an outskirt hotel. Next day he has booked a morning flight to barcelona we reached an outskirt hotel and again left idle on 23rd sep 2011. Next two days was for itma fair. Then on 26th afternoon they had booked a flight to paris and reached only in the evening the whole day was spend in airport no sightseeing. We were put up in an outskirt hotel some 60 km from paris. Now they are telling us that the itinerary has been change. We are 26 people from coimbatore don’t know what to do as we have already paid the travels. Now we are sitting in paris. According to the plan we will reach home only one 4th morning. But now we have no choice. They had made may things optional. Which was previously included in the itinerary when they got money from us. So we have decided to cancel the trip and return back for daily we are left in the hotel room sitting idle. Now they guys are telling us that they are not going to provide lunch which was actually included in the itinerary.

            We had taken holiday package from Cox & Kings for 9 nights and 10 days namely Fascinating Far East for 3 adults and 1 child and paid Rs.2.85 lacs. Maany things promised at the timeof booking the package were not fulfilled. I am summarising my complaint as below;
            1.On our arrival at Bangkok Airport at 5 am, no company representative was available. I had to call on the Bangkok number provided in the itinerary. Finally a representative arrived at 7 am. We had to spent nearly 1.30 hrs waiting anxiously for the representative and spent some amount for calling local bangkok numbers from our India mobile phones.
            2.Malaysian leg of the tour was totally messed up. On our arrival, we were accommodated in vans without any guide and despatched to city tour. No tickets for National Museum were provided and driver asked us to purchase our own tickets despite the fact that Museum tour was included in the itinerary. No information was provided on our next day tour to Genting and arrangements. I called up Sree, tour cordinator, who asked me to speak to driver who was carrying Genting tickets and meal vouchers for dinner. Driver gave us an entirely new itinerary which excluded the following from the itinerary given to us earlier at teh time of booking:
            Genting indoor park tickets [we were provided with only outdoor park tickets]
            Malacca tour and lunch
            3. Sree was very rude at times
            4. The new itinerary changed our departure time on 7 June from 800 hrs to 600 hrs. Hotel refused to provide any breakfast to us before 700 hrs and Sree had made no arrangement for packed breakfast. I had to call us Sree and request hotel to give us packed breakfast. We were finally provided with only 2 bread slices and an apple despiet us already paying so much money in advance for breakfast.
            5. For 8.30 am departure of bus from Kulalumpur to Singapore, we were dropped at 7.15 am to the bus station without any directions as how to get pre-booked tickets, We ourselves searched and got tickets issued from the office.
            6. I was instructed by Sree to call Ruchika of Cox and Kings Singapore to inform of our arrival. Ruchika had no idea of our tour timings and pickup from the drop point at Singapore. I had o call up many times to Ruchika to arrange our pick up from Singapore drop point [hotel Concorde] to our Hotel-Oxford.
            7. I demand apology and reimbursement of the following amounts;
            Cost of national museum ticket not provided to us.
            Cost of Genting indoor park tickets [we were provided with only outdoor park tickets]
            Cost of Malacca tour and lunch not given to us. We had to pay for our own lunch.

              three o[censored]s... me, my mother and her colleague were supposed to go for a trip to the european union, on 10th june.
              firstly we had a problem regarding the visa when we reached kolkata.
              the local representatives did not guide us properly, and so had a problem there in the visa office.
              secondly, they made a mistake giving my name as ''rachna ranga'' (my previous name) instead of ''rachna baruah(present name).
              resulting..the airline tickets came as rachna ranga.. as well as the insurance papers and other documents.
              then i had to pay extra 100 pounds, for their mistake.
              thirdly, we were all set with our packed bags, just about to leave for the airport when the officials called up and said that our VISA HAS BEEN CANCELLED! they should have informed us atleast a day earlier, but instead they informed us just an hour before leaving.
              in a state of shock, we didnot know how to respond.
              i would like to know what should be done next? and how do we file a complaint against them and how much compensation we're likely to get.

                Dear Sir,

                Cox & Kings is the biggest travel agent fraud company in India and has ruined my honeymoon plans to travel to Paris inspite of making all payments and reservations well in advance to them. We (me and y fiancee NERGISH) were suppose to depart on 12th of May for our Honeymoon and had made all necessary payments to the fraud Cox & Kings company and today on the 30th of April they inform me that my visa application is rejected. After enquiring through a common person who knows Cox & Kings, they informed that they have not even applied for my visas & claim that my passport is fake and also that I am a runaway passenger and thats what they feel.


                My relationship with Hyatt group of hotels is quite good & my gold passport id is G31604844P to confirm whether I am a runaway passenger or not.

                Would request review and assistance to stop companies like Cox & Kings to do such frauds.

                  We have booked a holiday (Name : European Whirl) with Cox and Kings,Tinsukia,Assam francisee on 1st of Sept'2010 for the Group departure tour scheduled on 11th October 2010 for Mr Pradip Khataniar and his wife.We have paid INR 76000(Seventy Six Thousand)only to Cox and Kings,We have deposited all the documents of Mr Khataniar and wife for making UK and Schengen VISA.But they could managed UK Visa till the departure date.Hence they told the client that they will put their tour on a different date and apply for Schengen VISA.But even after Four and half months they have neither confirm their date nor replies to any of our mails till date.Now the client Mr Pradip Khataniar is seeiking the confirmation but the francisee says that the Kolkata Cox and Kings are not replying to their mails so they are helpless.Francisee has given us an email address of Kolkata Office as mamaramya.[protected]@coxandkings.com.But we have sent more than 4-5 mails to him but all are unreplied.The UK Visa of Mr P Khataniar is expiring 1st week of April.So he wants to avail the tour before that.This is very poor service and untolerable.

                    Dear Sir,
                    I have been cheated by Cox & Kings India Ltd. N. Delhi branch.
                    I have opted for Canton Tour - April 2010 Guangzhou China. A tour by cox & kings. They have charged me Rs. 55000 for 6D/5N. But in actual it was of 5days & 5Nights. A full Day was minus from our itinerary. For going to Guangzhou they given us Flight from N. Delhi to Hong kong .They put us at Hong kong Airport for 4hrs. Then from HK to Shenzhen by Ferry (2hrs.) then from Shenzhen to Guangzhou by Bus ( 2.30hrs.) Though there is a Daily direct flight from N. Delhi to Guangzhou. The Return flight is also from Hongkong. In return flight I havn’t been provided even the dinner b,cos of wrong meal instructions by Cox & Kings.
                    And the Company charged different Fares from different People e.g. from me it was Rs. 55000/ as I was a first timer. From 3-Persons Rs. 52000/ and from other members which has bargained hard Rs. 48250/ may be there are more members with Lesser fares which I can’t tell as there were some 90+ Persons on this Tour with only one tour manager who is also lethargic & having no control over Rowdy members. It is my advice to all either Don’t go for Cox & Kings Tours or Bargain up to the Last Rupee as they Show jack fares on their website & Charge less from Smarter people who Bargain .As there is huge margins hidden in it, (You can check with other Tour operators on net) it’s All up to you. So, Bargain hard always if you have opted for Cox & Kings at all. If you want I can give you all the details.

                        My company used Cox and Kings for an international travel. We were going to an exhibition as exhibitors. When signing up for the package they promised us that they would be providing a 3 - 4 star accomodation with transportation to and from the exhibition grounds. Upon arrival, we realized that we were put up in a retirement home (not even a 2 star accomodation!). As exhibitors we had to stay back until the exhibition was closed, but they told us that the transportation was provided only until 7:30 pm an hour before closing time. After threating to call the local police to lodge a complaint, they agreed to pick us up after closing hours. Our MD landed there earlier since he went left early for other business meetings. Upn arrival in Germany he realized that there was no reservation on his name! He had to pay for that night and check in into a hotel. Their service was deplorable, their staff is not trained (we had to fill in the visa applciations 5 times due to their errors). Please do not use COX and KINGS for any of your travels. You do not know what you get until you land in the place.

                        They are stupid service provider.
                        I had a real bad experience with them.
                        Actually you should thank them...they took you.
                        They cancelled the trip which I had planned with my mother to Europe without even informing us. When we called for the tickets, 2 days before the trip, then they are telling us that we will not be able to accomodate you. Needless to say, this was after taking the payment which they have still not returned. They should be called Crooks KIng not Cox and Kings

                        It pains me a lot to inform that the Malaysia package tour that cox and kings had offered was most upsetting. My parents who had taken the tour had to endure a lot of difficulties during the trip.

                        To start with the person who picked them up from Langkavi airport just dropped them off at the gates of Pelangi Resort without ensuring that they got their room. They were not allotted room at 2pm as said by you. After a long and painful wait they were given rooms at 4Pm.

                        No guide was provided for the entire Langkavi trip. Only a DRIVER came to pick them up and he dropped them off at different islands. NO ONE GUIDED THEM FOR THE ENTIRE TRIP. They had to go around on their own without any idea of what to do.

                        The emergency contact person was not reachable at all and even after repeated request for a guide, no one was sent.

                        In KL they were not taken for KUL NITE tour on the day of arrival. The driver who picked them up from airport informed them that KUL NITE trip was not in schedule. After a lot of calls they were informed that it will happen the next day. Why so much of confusion?

                        The next day they were not picked up at the scheduled time for the city tour. They waited for 2 hours in the lobby of legend hotel from 9am to 11am. After repeated calls to the contact person Malaysia they were picked up by someone. When they enquired why he was late this person shot back at them saying that he has come as a replacement only and is not answerable to them. They were taken to the city tour by a bus where they did not even get seats together. All five of them were made to sit in different places which really pissed them off. What is the point of going for a trip with friends if they cant even travel together?

                        The dinner that was arranged in the Indian restaurant ( ARYAN Restaurant) was very POOR. They were offered just a couple of items and they were charged extra for basic items like WATER and CURD.

                        They were not provided with any guide or guidance for the entire package.

                        IAM REALLY VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED with your service. We are repeat customers for cox and kings. We (6 o[censored]s) had taken the Himachal Delight package in 2008.

                        While planing the trip i STRONGLY RECOMMENDED Cox and Kings in-spite of having received a proposal for much less amount from a different tourist agent. We would have saved about Rs 10000 per person (that is about 50000Rs for 5 o[censored]s). This was only because we wanted good service and we were completely sure that we would have a great trip due to Cox and Kings. You people let us down very badly. This is certainly not what we expected when we took the trip.

                        I dont think I will ever suggest Cox and Kings to anybody again and will not consider Cox and Kings myself for any trip, irrespective of Cost.

                        There representative aarti karol bagh (delhi) branch manager and abhishek tandon head office manager(delhi)cheated me .I have selected a discovery tour from cox and kings company Karol Bagh branch and I have paid rs 81, 000 regarding, my visa has been refused and aarti is saying that all o[censored]r amount has been deducted in cancellation. I neither have given her a confirmation mail to her neither she has given me an information regarding this much deduction.

                        Cox and Kings Delhi office for Norway VISA processing is very worst. Never ever go for Cox and Kings.
                        Cox and Kings Delhi one of the manager is saying that they are only a post office/courier between applicant and Embassy and they dont know what is happening with the VISA processing. If i call Embassy they are asking me to contact Cox and Kings and Cox and Kings is saying they dont know anythng other than their courier service.

                        They never updated me the requirement for missing document till two days before travel and finally they are saying they have already sent me mail, which is a lie. They never sent me any mails neither phone calls. They are cheating in a way that they are copying the lately sent mail and erasing the date and forwarding me as an attachement saying that they sent that earlier. That attachment is without date and time.

                        This is really a cheat game. He said he is a manager and dont want to disclose his name.

                        This is really a fraud and nonsense.

                        This is Vinoth Balakrishnan from Chennai, India.We had availed for Fun Filled Thailand-Family package which costed about Rs.75000 for me and my wife on 5th April 2013. The main reason why we opted for Cox and Kings agency(Anna Nagar branch) for our Thailand holiday as they gave us a good experience in our earlier trip to Mauritius about a year and a half years ago. But this time we are terribly disappointed with our recent trip to Bangkok-Pattaya. They have completely ruined our vacation this time and it seems to us that our hard earned money went into the drain. We enquired other reputed travel agencies and we realized that Cox and Kings is expensive compared to other agencies but we were ready to compromise our money hoping that they will give us good experience like our earlier trip to Mauritius.

                        Our worst experience started from the day one we approached Cox and Kings, Anna Nagar for enquiring about the Thailand package. To mention few instances,

                        1. LACK OF INTEREST - We had visited Cox and Kings, Anna Nagar branch to get an idea about the various destinations and their respective packages. Since Vijay Thooyamani was taking charge of our earlier trip to Mauritius, we approached him for our next trip. But since he did not have the time, he directed us to Arjun who in turn redirected us to Sharmila. Our problem started right from here. Sharmila told us that she’ll send some details about a few packages within a day but we did not get any mail or hear from any of them till we called up the next week to remind them about the mail details. We informed this lack of response to Vijay but he promised that things will be better henceforth, but unfortunately it didn’t.
                        2. LACK OF FOLLOW UP - After assurance from Vijay for better response from the employees in Cox and Kings, Anna Nagar branch, we paid 50% of the package price (Rs.40000) and they said that they’ll inform us about the date for remaining payment but again we didn’t get any remainder calls from them until it was almost nearing our trip date.
                        3. VISA - We had asked them to include Visa charges also as we wanted to avoid the hassles of standing for hours together in the Immigration queue at the Bangkok airport. We also paid the Visa charges in our initial amount itself but they again failed to follow up and again we had to remind them about collecting our passports for Visa formalities but it was too late and we ended up standing up in the long queue at the airport.
                        4. FAMILY PACKAGE ?? – The main reason why we opted for Family package is to make sure that only decent families and couples accompany us in our tour just like how it was in our earlier trip to Mauritius but we were shocked to find group of drunken indecent men accompanying us in our trip from Bangkok airport to Pattaya hotel. My wife was the only female member in that entire group and we felt very very very uneasy in our 2 hour travel to Pattaya. They were making disgusting comments, shouting at the top of their voices and snoring throughout the 2 hour travel.
                        5. LACK OF RESPONSE – We reported this horrifying experience by making an international call to Vijay Thooyamani and Sharmila who assured us initially that it will be taken care of and they will get back to us within 10 mins. But even after one hour we didn’t get any response from them and again we had make another international call at our own expense. This time the call was attended by Sharmila( though we called Vijay’s mobile phone) and she told us to adjust since the tour was now taken charge by an local agency called DS Travels. – “IS THIS OUR PROBLEM ???? IF WE KNEW THIS SITUATION WOULD COME, WE WOULD HAVE NEVER EVEN DREAMT OF GOING FOR COX AND KINGS!!!”
                        6. NO ACTION TAKEN – Inspite of reporting our problems, it was not addressed and we continued to experience hell with those indecent drunken men as we did not want to sit in our hotel room after paying almost Rs.75000 for the trip. We called one of the contact person of DS travels in Bangkok and explained our situation. Thankfully he understood our difficulty and mapped us to an Indian couple but it was almost the end of our trip.

                        We have mentioned only few points of our trauma. We can go on writing such points but then it would be a never ending list.

                        We are middle class people who have to work and save money for each trip and this was supposed to be our dream vacation. Now when we think of it, we are flooded with bitter memories and our money has gone into the drain. It would definitely take us some time to come out the trauma that we experienced during this hell trip.

                        I work in one of the leading IT organizations and I directed my colleagues to Cox and Kings, Anna Nagar for their family tours when we went to Mauritius. But after this trip to Thailand, I will never recommend any of my friends or family to Cox and Kings tours especially Anna Nagar branch.

                        Thanks for the bitter experience to Cox And Kings, Anna Nagar – Vijay Thooyamani, Arjun and SHARMILA !!! We lost both our money and our peace of mind. We can never recall this tour what was supposed to be a dream vacation…
                        Cox and Kings not to be trusted at all
                        We totally agree with what people have said in the different forums about horrifying experience while booking tours with Cox and Kings. Our experience with Cox and Kings is more or less same. We booked a tour through Cox and Kings for two persons; myself (Suresh Chandra Jeswal) and my wife (Rashmi Rekha Jeswal) for American Bonanza 14 days/13 nights starting from 02.05.2013. Since we were already having Visas for USA the guy at Andheri Office agreed to give discount for same and we settled for a discounted price and paid initial charges. They issued no invoice. Subsequently at the time of final payment, they asked for full payment and after lot of persuasion, they accepted the agreed price. They issued no bill, invoice, or Forex advice. They with lot of persuasion gave only the receipts for cheques. In the meantime, lot of their officers changed who were handling our booking. The hotels that were mentioned in their itinerary were changed at the time of issuing tickets one week prior to commencement of journey. The telephone number and name of their Airport representative at Mumbai as well as at New York were given few hours prior to reporting at airport. The shoulder bags given were of very cheap quality. No pre-departure meeting was arranged which resulted in tension throughout the journey what will happen when we reach New York.
                        After reaching New York we found that the Tour Manager was about 70 yrs. of age. The entire group had to wait for two hours at New York airport for one Mr. & Mrs. Goel who was not to come with that flight but the tour manager did not have that information though the flight ticket was booked by Cox and Kings itself. Later they came with another flight but no one was there to receive them because of lack of coordination between Cox and Kings India office and the Tour Manager. He even did not have any access, facility, or e-mails.
                        The hotels throughout the tour were inferior except at one or two places. In fact hotel at New York was arranged in New Jersey involving 2 hours journey from New York resulting that most of the time was wasted in to and fro journey.
                        At one point of time during long journey from Las Vegas to L.A. the air-conditioning of the Coach was not working. Even then the tour was continued. After the group threatened to call police, the coach was changed.
                        Cox and Kings outsourced the entire tour to MAXIM Travels. To save money on the Coach Travel the Cox and Kings will always take the group to hotel after having dinner. We were left at the theme parks and other places in the morning and will be picked up only at 7 PM and then taken for dinner without bothering for the tiredness of the people. Even though some of the theme parks will close at 6 PM we will be picked up only at 7 PM to avoid two trip one from park to hotel and then from hotel to Indian Restaurant where dinner is arranged. We were always kept in dark about the exact program of the day. Even on the last day of tour in LA we were asked to come to Hotel Lobby at 11.30 AM for leaving for Airport but the coach came at 1 PM only. The entire group was furious and with intervention of some people manhandling of the Tour Manager was avoided.
                        IN NUTSHELL WE WILL NEVER GO WITH COX AND KINGS ON ANY TOURS IN FUTURE AND WE WILL ADVISE OTHERS ALSO NOT TO GO WITH THEM.

                        We have suggested to Cox and Kings through their feedback form that:
                        1. Transparency should be observed in transactions. As soon as a booking made Invoice or bill should be issued; receipts for cheques should be issued immediately upon its receipt.
                        2. Only one officer should be designated for one booking. Frequent changes shows non professionalism.
                        3. Hard copies of all documents like ticket, insurance policy should be given.
                        4. Forex transaction invoice should be given.
                        5. Forex component should be charged at the prevailing Bank Rates.
                        6. Instead of giving shoulder bags of cheap quality no need to give any bag or Good quality trolley bags like SOTC should be given. Company's name should be printed only at one place.
                        7. Pre departure meeting should be organised so that all group people may meet before travelling.
                        8. The luggage at airport should be booked together with a group tag.
                        9. The tour manager should be young, should wear a proper uniform and should carry a proper flag of Cox and Kings instead of Indian Flag. He should be provided an I-Pad so as to communicate instantly over e-mails.
                        10. Care has to be taken to ensure that minimum time is wasted in travelling. For that purpose hotels near the town should be selected.
                        11. After the days trip group should be taken to hotel and after a fresh up of about half to one hour should be taken out for dinner.
                        12. Fresno should be excluded from the itinerary. It is totally waste of time and money.
                        13. On the last day check out should be at 9 AM as was on other days. Then a local tour can be conducted as the return flight is only at 4.30 PM.
                        14. The tour Manager should accompany the Group inside the Theme Parks like tour managers of Thomas Cook and Heena Travels.
                        15. The tour manager should keep all brochures of all optional tours. He should be well conversant with the specialities of these places.
                        16. Tour Manager has to arrange journeys in such a manner that Coach stops for lunch between 1 to 1.30 pm otherwise diabetic people may fell ill.
                        17. After completion of tour the Head Office of Cox and Kings should e-mail feed back forms to all persons for their feedback.
                        18. Feedback form should contain a column about the problems faced by the client during the tour.
                        Anyway I will not be travelling with Cox and Kings again and I think none of the persons in this group will ever travel by Cox and Kings. In fact we are going to post our bad experiences through various websites to make people aware about your company. Thx
                        Hello All, am a HR from a MNC, i face a heck of problems with Cox & Kings India TEAM, here people are very rude and irresponsible towards customers. they don't even response properly. they don't CARE their customers(LACK OF INTEREST)..

                        Cox and Kings after 3 months have replied vide letter dated 03.09.2013 that:
                        1. Immigration clearance for Mr & Mrs Goel has taken 2 hrs. So there was no alternative for the Tour Manager except to wait for them. Cox & Kings has mislead as Mr & Mrs Goel were originally scheduled to come with the group but 4-5 days earlier they changed their flights that too only Cox & Kings changed their flights. But this was not informed by Cox & Kings India office to the Tour Manager at New York who waited for 2 hours with the group at New York airport and ultimately left without them.
                        2. Then regarding our booking at New Jersey hotel Cox & Kings have tried again to mislead that they take great care in selection of hotels. Our group reached JFK airport, which is based in New York. The travelling time from New York to New Jersey in rush hour is 2 hours. So that day we wasted 2 hours in reaching New Jersey. Again next day we wasted 2 hrs. In coming to New York and 2 hrs. in returning to hotel. Why this hotel was not booked in New York only Cox & Kings know.
                        3. For Air conditional coach not being functional since beginning it has been replied that they do not own any infrastructure like hotels, coaches etc. and they have to depend on the service providers. Noted Sir, you are absolutely not at fault. Probably you are not aware that carrying passengers in a non air-conditioning completely closed coach is a criminal offence in US.
                        4. Regarding not taking back the group to the total after finishing the tour at 7 PM it has been replied that guests were bound to be exhausted and hungry so it was felt that they should have dinner and then only reach hotel. Very thoughtful of you Sir.
                        5. For all other issues and deficiencies raised by me Cox & Kings have tendered general apology and as a compensation has offered Rs 3, 000/- each to me and my spouse provided I give an undertaking that I shall have no claim, grievance, cause of action or demand against Cox & Kings.
                        Very kind of you Sir of this charity. We paid you a sum of more than Rs two lacs per member and do you think that the compensation of Rs 3, 000/- per member will heel our bounds? Please donate this amount in Prime Minister’s Relief Fund. May be you may get some blessings from God for your ill managed and highly unprofessional Company. Anyway not only we but none of the Members from our group of 45 people is going to travel by Cox & Kings.

                        the most cheated travel team i have ever seen. they sold me the tickets at higher price... misguided us with route plan...just to make huge incentives and commission. most untrusted brand i ever encountered...                         I have been interacting with Cox & Kings since 30 Oct 2013 & till date not even a single step
                        has been moved without my continuous follow ups.

                        Phase I of Irritation:

                        I had selected Cox & Kings UNFORTUNATELY for my Honeymoon travel to Andaman. And after taking
                        the initial payment of Rs. 6000/- these guys seem to have been disappeared. I had to follow up
                        for almost 2 - 3 weeks time to get confirmation on the bookings. And just 2 days before my
                        planned travel date WHEN I CALLED up the Customer Care (Mr. Sachin Suryawanshi), he was
                        totally clueless about my travel (I NEVER GOT ANY CALL FROM COX & KINGS TO CONFIRM ANYTHING.
                        this is really hopeless). He was so much confused about the date, destination etc of the
                        travel. When I asked about confirmation, he gave some FAKE information & promised to come back
                        by end of the same day & that same day never got over for Mr. Sachin Suryawanshi. After a
                        continuous 15 20 calls at the EOD I somehow managed to reach Mr. Sachin who again
                        shamelessly apologized which did not mean anything & said that he will get back to me, Which
                        again never happened.
                        Next Day, For obvious reasons since there was only 1 day was left for my travel to begin I was
                        in a PANIC state & tried reaching Sachin Suryawanshi & not to my surprise with my earlier
                        experience I could only reach him after some 5 10 calls. And to my utter SHOCK & DISMAY he
                        such SHAMELESSLY asked for some time to confirm my travel. I HAD TOTALLY LOST IT BY THEN. I
                        asked him immediately to cancel this trip to which he was quite responsive & shamelessly said
                        that Madam cancel toh ho jayega but Rs. 4000/- deduct ho jayega. I must say this was really
                        PATHETIC. I asked him to connect me to his manager. And then I was connected to Mr. Abijeet
                        Gaikwad. After some explanation of the whole story he agreed about miscommunication from Cox &
                        Kingse end & apologized. He also promised that I will get the whole amount refund of Rs.
                        6000/- in 2 3 working days by cheque at your Aundh, Pune office.

                        Phase II of Irritation:

                        Again since 25th Nov I NEVER GOT any communication from you guys end. I have been following up
                        since then & till today no payments have happened, Mr. Abhijeet has disappeared like anything.
                        Not traceable . Even Mr. Suryawanshi is never reachable on his extn. Seems like at Cox &
                        Kings, employees just get paid to relax either in or out of office. Mr. Abhijit or Mr.
                        Suryawanshi have not been able to tell me any reason for delay. And when is the payment
                        expected. I must appreciate Mr. Sachin is still living upto his name of shamefully asking time
                        to get back to me which STILL Never happens. Then one fine day when i managed to reach Mr.
                        Suryawanshi, he really had no words to say&.he AGAIN ASKED FOR SOMETIME & this time he also
                        requested me for my Bank Account details, which was given to him & he promised to come back to
                        me in 24 hrs. time & this time. And I had no option to agree.
                        AND AGAIN I FELL FLAT on my face with Mr. Suryawanshi disappearing. Its been 4 days of that
                        conversation & no update to me.
                        And just to give you one more update today Mr. Suryawanshi accidentally happened to pick my
                        call & the moment he realized I was on the other side he disconnected & again not traceable
                        since this morning.

                        During all these events Mr. Suryawanshi & Mr. Abhijeet (His so called Boss) have never been
                        understanding, empathetic & considerate. And Mr. Abhijit never spoke to me after that 1
                        conversation on 25th Nov.

                        I have to say that everyone plans a holiday to take a break from day to day hassles & if
                        planning a break with Cox & Kings is so full of irritations I would never ever recommend it to
                        even my enemy. And for god sake this was my Honeymoon plan which has to be special & to make
                        it worst mine got totally cancelled. ALL THANKS TO COX & KINGS

                        The way cox and kings works is annoying. The staff sucks to the core . Cox and kings only knows how to make their staff ppl wait till midnight but no quality service has been provided bu the staff . There s no point then making them wait til late and training them whe they cant assist . 10 millions times we have to follow up with them about our trip . They are one travel company who does nothing after they receive the payment from the customer s end.

                        Thomas cook is 10million times better than this company . One advice for Cnk - Keep your moto as customer satisfaction and not just profit.

                        I recently went magnificent Europe tour 2014 on 13th May 2014, we are total 10 persons we are totally upset with their service and what they have committed not given and taken money in advance while telling their tour manager he saying I don't know any thing you have to talk to your Cox and kings agent in India, we are in Europe how we can talk to them and while talking them from Europe Cox and king office people say we have sent the message we not get reply and days are going on and our tour completed, They make us fool and taken money we have written 3 page complain in their official e.ail id if we not get any refund or action we will go to consumer court and other necessary action

                        Our 10 people not suffer our all other tourist have same problem, our group people and other member suggest even your enemy not to suggest or recommended Cox &amp;amp; king

                        After missing all this worth more than 400 Euros, we were given hardly 19 Euros worth of a boat ride and were told this was all we could give. No LUNCH on that day.

                        Much more worst scenario waited for us when we were given hotels which were nearly 2 to 3 hours drive away from the city &amp; more over the tour guide never knew which hotel we were to stay the next day, because as he claimed that it will be booked by the evening.

                        We were made to miss the food while driving the long stretches as the guide did not know it would take that long.

                        Expecting a refund of 400 Euros &amp; damages worth the same amount.

                        the vochers wer supposed to come one week before departure they came 3 days befpore on saturdayy

                        I took my family for Europe tour, i got my visa in the evening of traveling day, the hotel seleceted was the worst, i have asked for the bills and called Mr. Faiz from Thane office more than 60 times, still no response, i had travelled in October 2014. They don't even pick up the calls. I had a very bad experience with them. I would suggest all the travellers not to book with Cox and Kings.
                        Mr. Faiz from Thane office is a big liar and gives various reason.

We found that our booking was not their then Driver taken us to MAHI PALACE HOTEL which is third catagory hotel just like a lodge where room service was not there, no intercomm connection, no staff only food was good even We have not got tea &water in room. In that hotel self service available.WE HAVE SURPRISED SUCH A HOTEL HOW YOUR CO. DOING BOOKING.
                        In a whole tour nobody was guide us. Only driver came &pick us and drop to us. Your Team Leader at Ladakh Mr. Ajmelkhan &Mr. Manprit comming in night and giving us next day programme and never given proper guidence nor solve our problem. We are surprising how you are keeping such a staff who are not helping.
                        We have booked trip thru you because We were thinking your cook &Tour Leader with us. As promised by you We never got Non Veg. food eventho everytime We have to purchase drinking warer at the time of Lunch &Dinner.
                        When We visited Pengong &next day leave for Ladakh. We have got lunch box packing such a way that was cooked early night (only rice) which We all given to beggers.
                        All tour programme &flight bookings should give in advance, which was given 2-3 Days before.
                        At the end of trip Mr. Sandeep Ganjoo behalf of your hotel representative met us and guide us and very co operative man, but such like your team leader Mr. AJMELKHAN in ladakh how you are keeping this type of leader everybody has got bad experience in our whole group.
                        I WOULD RECOMMENDED TO ALL NOT TO TRAVEL THRU COX &KING AND ADVISE CO. TO IMPROVE BETTER SERVICE.

                        TERRIBLE Experience in Europe Trip with Cox and Kings!

                        My parents( Age above 55) had planned a trip to Europe with Cox and kings on 7th June 2015. It was pre decided that they will be picked up at Paris Airport. Unfortunately there were no such arrangements. Cox and Kings did not provide any hotel details. Tour Manager's phone was constantly not reachable. I tried to contact at pune office but they did not pick up my phone. Then I immediately went to Cox and Kings office ( prabhat road pune)to get the information. After rigorous follow up, I got the hotel details and the same was conveyed to my parents in Paris. Somehow they managed to get a taxi and reached hotel. Hotel manager was completely unaware of the fact that few tourists would come there early. My parents requested hotel manager to let them stay at the hotel. However, there were no arrangements for lunch. They had to manage everything by their own. Even the dinner was made available at 11 P.M. At night.
                        Tour Manager was not properly trained personnel. He was not a guide. He had lack of knowledge about tourist spots, places and most of the time was wasted searching for routes and places. Eventually, they missed few events as they could not reach there in time! Such tickets are not refunded to us. Who is responsible for that? He even failed to have any interactive conversations in group.
                        On return journey, my parents were supposed to reach at Milan Airport from Padua, Vennis. It was tour managers duty to check whether they reach at airport safely. He left my parents in vennis, he just told them to go and get a train. That was a complete misguide! Apparently there was no connecting train from vennis to Milan. It was supposedly his responsibility to guide them properly. Throughout the trip, he kept on promising that he will do all the arrangements to take them to airport. But he just did nothing! My mother and my uncle &amp; aunt who are all senior citizens had the most traumatic experience that night! That was something which we can’t even describe in words. It costs us much more than one could never think of! Who is responsible for all that?
                        And that was a Horrible Experience to go with Cox and Kings. Overall the trip was a disaster! I regret the fact that I sent my family with this renowned company. The trip was ended with sheer disappointment, mental torture plus waste of money!
                        As part of European Whirl tour we stayed in Galileo Palace Hotel, Arezzo on 12th and 13th July. On 13th night, when we were out for dinner, valuables kept in Hotel room no 247 were stolen. We complained to hotel receptionist and informed to tour guide, also Cox office, Hyderabad. The least we expected was acknowledgement of our complaint but Cox disappointed us. Why the hotel was selected was not clear- the location is a not a tourist spot and logistically consumes 3 hrs of journey time to reach Romman ruins.
                        services of cox and kings is so bad that even giving one star rating makes me feeling m doing some good in the rating .
                        The customer handling and service is horrible .
                        The staff at cox think they are doing a favour on the client .
                        They don't return calls make false promises, lie . They totally have the perfect recipe for a holiday destruction .
                        I travelled with cox and kings Wanowri branch, my trip was handled by Shaoumi and Ranjan .
                        Total dissatisfaction. From visas to passport delivery to tour management .
                        I was made false promises on rates at the end I was extracted more than the contract price asked for, my hotels were totally different from what I was promised, I was forgotten to be picked up, itinerary was handed to me when I landed in Greece at the airport . The travel partner gogreece agent told me that after this holiday you are going to need another holiday .

                        Even when j tried contacting them to help and re compensate I have been rejected and ignored .

                        Cox & Kings India visa application center. I am very thorough. Called & emailed to see Exactly what was required. Once they received my 4 apps, I was told my pre-pain Return envelope could Not be used & the Only option was to pay for their Courier Service. Did that because I had no choice, then a few days later, a post dept employee found my pre-paid return envelope, called me personally & used it No problem, to send my 4 passports back... just as I was told in the beginning. I am 60+ days trying to get refund for Courier services that were charged & Not used.

                        I started my journey with no Airticket till I reach the Airport in the morning @ 7.30, I had to take the ticket from Jet counter. After when I reach Ranthambore my hotel was not booked I was struggling for my booking and guess what due to which I missed my Safari that day and had to do the safari on next day so the entire schedule got disturbed and I missed the Ranthambore fort Coz I had to reach Jaipur on the same day in time.

                        Due to above delay my next day in Jaipur started in a rush and again I missed Jantar Mantar for which I requested My Cab driver and he was agreed a day before but next day he said it is not possible and so I had to take a auto pay 250 and had to do the Jantar Mantar on my own. So far my experience with cox and kings is very bad and I have to spend 6 more days as per my tour.

                        I pray that my next few days at least will be enjoyable...

                        I do not recommend Coz and kings individual tours also.

                        Last week i along with my family came back from Egypt tour which i had taken from Cox & Kings.
                        Very clearly, travellers satisfaction was the last priority.
                        Reasons:
                        1 - Imagine you getting booked on a 5.45 AM flight inspite of having choices of 9 AM or noon flight. This was 31st Dec night. We returned to hotel @midnight, checked out @2.30 AM. After reaching destination @Cruise, we were made to wait for a room allotment till 12 Noon. No one even cared to ask us for a Tea or any other help. The most horrible way to start the New Year ... disgusting
                        2 - The original Itinerary was for MS Mirage cruise which they changed to a different cruise at the last moment. Though they claim it was premium but only for name sake... Later on came to know that MS Mirage cruise was not functioning around 3 to 4 days back... Liars

                        I would never recommend Cox & Kings to any one.

                        Such a big brand & surprised to see such practices & ethics being followed.

                        They provide pathetic services. I booked Indian travel (Rajasthan) package in Dec 2015, they provided sub standard hotels. I was so frustrated that I did not check-in into the hotel which they provided in Jodhpur & Udaipur & I myself booked the hotel for my family's stay. I did not bother about incurring additional costs but company did not even have the courtesy to call & check why this is being done.

                        We have been cheated by Cox and Kings. Even after paying 100% tour cost Rs. 1, 76, 000/-, we could not travel. And now they say that the entire money has been forfieted on account of their cancellation charges.
                        For travel to Dubai on 21 Jan 2016, they took the booking on 15 jan, but did not apply for the Visa till 19 Jan morning. Thereafter on 20 Jan evening they sent only one visa, due to which we were not allowed to travel.

                        After taking to Cox and Kings travel adviser (from Mumbai), receiving the trip itinerary I made the booking with them, later before few days of travel they confirming my itinerary with dropped sight seeing places which initially agreed and I made additional payment also. For just 10 days left for my travel I am struggling hard just talk to them why they did & my bad luck no one interested to talk to me or respond to my mails. corporate communication email id of Cox and Kings is useless, they just there to show-off no response from them. more than 10 times I called them & no one was willing to talk, more than 10 emails I wrote no response. In my last email I also mentioned Cox and Kings if you are planning to cancel my trip let me know, since I don't want to disappoint my family, infact to that also they are least concerned and no response.

                        Please any help how to handle my situation ? I just have few more days left for my travel & I am not sure whether I will be traveling or not ?

                        My recent visit to gangtok, pelling and darjeeling through cox and kings was horrible. From tour manage mr, sbato rao, hotel at gangtok, roads all through the tour were rough.

                        1. We were received well at bagdogra airport, one vehicle for four o[censored]s with enogh room for luggage. Good road from bagdogra to gangtok.
                        2. Central hotel at gangtok was clumsy 2 star and smelly.
                        3. Tour manager never accompanied to any sight seeing. All tickets to sightseeing places were purchased by us.
                        When asked rao. He told that i will repay the amount to you which he never did to the whole group of 12 people.
                        4. The route to pelling was about 100kms which took more than 5 hrs. All roads leading to pelling are broken. Should cox and kings arrange tours in such vicinities where travelling is dangerous. Does company want to earn
                        By killing its clients.
                        5. Again route to darjeeling is rough with thoroghly broken roads.
                        6. Here tour manager again comes to heighlight... At 7 am he declares that on way to darjeeling if anybody wants to go to naamchi and chaar dhaam, he has to pay 3000/- extra. And these two places are wonderfull and worth seeing which the company never includes in the tour... Out of curiousity when we had gone so far we were ready to shell out the amount.
                        7. On the way when we enquired from the driver about the cost of naamchi tour from gangtok. He told us that it is 1800/-.
                        So we were again cheated by the company / tour manager.
                        8. Again in darjeeling tour manager rested in hotel and the group of 12 people were at their own visitng places with drivers and buying tickets of their own.
                        9. On day of departure from darjeeling 12 people were bundled up in two vehicles along with their luggage... One innova and one ertiga, we requested alot to tour manager rao to plz, arrange one more vehicle for safe passage on hilly tortuos road to bagdogra. But he remained adamant and told us... You can make my complaint to heigher authorities, and i am not afraid of anyone.
                        10. On way back to darjeeling i lodged a complaint with ms. Darshna solanki but due to poor mobile network we couldnot converse properly though tried several times.
                        I would like cox and kings to take up this matter seriously and those involved in malpractices should be dealt with iron hands.

                        I being a frequent customer of the company feels my duty to inform the things happening in your company.

                        Cox & kings - one of the worst travel agents.Once the money is paid, they just don't care. This was one of the worst experiences I had during my recent trip to Bali. On arrival at the airport in Bali, one baggage did not arrive. When we reached the Hotel, we were told there was no booking. Imagine not having a reservation in an unknown country after having travelled the whole night what it felt like. The representative who had come to pick us up did not do anything to get us the reservation. Then I called up Cox & Kings, Mumbai. All the tamasha went on for almost two hours at the reception. Then we were given a room wherein the AC was choked, there was no soap, hand towel etc.etc. We had to call them up and ask for all this. Then the next morning when we went down for the so-called Buffet breakfast, there was rice, noodles, vegetables, another dish and bread butter. We told them that we do not eat this for breakfast, we want eggs. They said they will check and they came back saying that we will get only 2 eggs/bread butter and cannot touch the other stuff (when we had clearly told them we don't want it). This is the first hotel we have been to, wherein the food was rationed. Hotel was pathetic (7 Days Premium) not recommended.

                          main apne parents ko europe trip pe le gayi thi may 2009 mein. mujhse commitment ki gayi thi ki mujhe 4 star hotels mein thehraya jayega lekin wahaan le jaane ke baad mujhe 3 star hotels ki accomodation di, ye kehke ki ye hotel india ke 4 star hotel ke barabar hi hai.

                            Hello everyone,My parents booked tickets for American Bonanza Tour on June 2009.They got the visa through Cox and King and they have paid full amount also.But due to H1N1 they couldnt make it for the trip last year.This year they are planning but no one is reponding from Cox and Kings Office either in Bangalore or MUmbai.No one is responding for our repeated calls.Its already more than 6 months.
                            No one bothers to send a mail also.Whenever we call someone they say I am not the responsible member.
                            Shame on these guy !! they say world class service and they do this.

                            Everyone I have meet so far who has dealt with Cox & Kings has always had a bad experience.
                            And have never ever heard any good or neutral words about Cox & Kings from any of the people who have availed their services.
                            When I went to Europe with Kulin Kumars travels, I meet the group of Cox & Kings on the way, about 50 people, all were complaining how terrible their services where !!
                            I do not understand despite having such a bad reputation why do people still manage to select Cox & Kings for their tours !!

                              Dear Sir / Madame,

                              I have been using HSBC Credit Card (primary Card No.[protected]. I have made a purchase of Rs.9468 from my credit card and have converted into 6 installment for payment @EMI Rs.1578. Accordingly I have made all payments on EMI basis with last EMI payment being May 2009. Apart from this I also made payment for my insurance fee which is being charged by Tata AIG Insurance from my Credit Card @ Rs.530 per month for three months (530x3=Rs.1590). I also made late fine of Rs.400 for no fault of me. I never received bill on time and when I received same late payment has already been added on it.

                              And to my surprised even after making all payments balance payment was showing Rs.3191.00. Please note that at the time of offering the card your marketing team had given me to understand that the card given to me was life time free of charges. HSBC marketing agent approached to me and provided the credit card for free of cost and said its life time free card there be no any processing fees and annual fees or charges on the credit card

                              Dissatisfied with the services and billing statement I have cancelled my Card on June 08, 2009 at 3:22 P.M ( cancellation No :[protected]. However even after cancellation of Card I am still receiving bill statement with late fine. And after cancellation of card only I am receiving bill regularly. I cannot understand why...??.

                              Would highly appreciate if you look into the matter on urgent basis and settle same and do not harass me with bills.

                                This is in relation to the Holiday Package that we had booked through your company. I am very disappointed to inform you that the tour package offered was just below average and didn't match to the reputation your company holds in planning holidays.
                                We booked Tour package for Thailand last month for 9 person but 1 cancelled. Our trip’s first destination was Phuket and we were supposed to visit Phi Phi Island at 7:30 Am on 8th of Aug. I also informed our Hotel reception at 6:45 in the morning to call us when cab arrive. At 7:30, I confirmed from the reception about the cab and they says no Cab come yet. I called Mr. Boy ( Contact person in Phuket ) at mobile No. [protected] ( Mobile call charges bill is Attached and time confirmation) which was given by Mr Boy on 7th of Aug to call for any problem and Cab confirmation at 8:10 am on 8th of Aug from hotel Room ( Mobile call charges bill is Attached and time confirmation) and he said he is on the way and will reach hotel in 1 or 2 minute. After 5 Minute, I again call Mr. Boy at 8:15 (Time Duration : 0:30 Second) and he said he is sending another cab as he has to go somewhere. After waiting 40 minute , Cab arrived and we left hotel for Phi Phi island but after 15 minute , a call came in Driver’s Mobile and he told that we can’t go to Phi Phi Island and he dropped us at Hotel. Then I called Mr. David at [protected] at 9:32 ( Mobile call charges bill is Attached and time confirmation )and he told me that My boy come at 7:30 and inform hotel reception about cab arrival but after waiting of 30 minutes , he returned back. I went reception counter and scold them for not informing about the Cab, then Reception lady told that there is no entry of Cab arrival from DS Travel in Front Guard Register. I called David again but he misbehaved me very much. Then I requested Reception manager to call him and tell about the facts but Mr. David also misbehaved them Also. I tried to convince Hotel manager to provide letter for this incident.

                                As we booked this Package through Cox & Kings Because we wanted world class services as our Group are businessman and want some vacation as Life was too much stressed. I know that Mr. Anubhav Gupta is the franchise owner of Cox & Kings and he is also a friend of my Group, So we contacted Mr. Anubhav Gupta and he confirmed about the Benefits if we booked through COX & KINGS . He Introduced us to Mr. Akhil (Branch Manager – cox & Kings) and he explained the Package. In the meanwhile Mr. Anubhav Gupta also agreed to join us in this tour.

                                After returned back to India We contacted Mr. Anubhav also a Eyewitness of this incident about help then he told me that he don’t want to involve in this issue. I called Mr. Anubhav Gupta & Mr. Akhil Mishra to resolve this issue but they says send the documents confirming about the genuinely of the case. On the same day I sent mail containing Scan copy of the latter which was draft by Hotel Manager mentioning the issue.

                                I Called so many times to Mr. Anubhav Gupta & Akhil Mishra, but they always ignored by saying that they sent mail and awaiting for response. After a rigorous follow-up I visited the office and told Mr. Anubhav Gupta that we are filing a Case against you and your company because even he also a part of the group and faced the problem , ignoring us and strongly told us that he will not help in this matter. As Mr. Anubhav Gupta is typical Businessmen and it has been approved by not cooperating us.

                                I am falling short of words to describe about the mess this package tour has made me to go through. I genuinely feel that my money and time have been wasted by choosing your holiday package. In the end, all I could expect from you is to stop promising something that you can't hold. I hope this type of blunder is never repeated with your other customers.

                                From our perspective, It was done in the starting of the Tour so this was not a holiday, but a very stressful experience that we would have done anything to avoid. In the circumstances, we do not feel that is unreasonable to expect a full refund of the money paid to you following your misrepresentation of what you were offering.

                                  We booked a business travel package to Europe for an trade fair through Cox and Kings. They promised us minimum 3 star accomodation a stay within 20 kms of the fair grounds for exhibitors. We were put up almost 45 kms away in a pension home. It was less than a 2 start property. They refused to arrange transport back to the stay after 7:00 pm for exhibitors although return transport was promised. After threatening to turn them in to the local police for abandoning foriegn visitors they complied. This worked since there it was group travelling together. I am not sure what they would have done if it was a family.

                                  Cox and Kings also processed our visas that were handled by unprofessional junior staff who did not know what they were doing. They took almost one month to complete the visa applications after having us print and reprint the paperwork atleast a half a dozen times. There were spelling errors, typos, unnecesary information.

                                  Cox and Kings is deinitely not a travel agent that should be used for business travel. They are unprofessional, dishonest and no customer service policy.

                                  I agree with you. We ourselves had a very bad experience during our tour of Australia with Cox & Kings. Their tour manager was hopeless. There was no pick up for us when we reached Brisbane airport in Australia. We spent money from our own pockets to reach the hotel. Secondly, they do not organize a pick up for a optional tour arranged by them although they chage for it & also mention that they would do so in their tour brochures.

                                  You visit Kolhapur & take feed back from companies who traveled with Cox & Kings to GIFA trade fair, you will realise your problem was nothing as compared to the hardship these people faced. Same with my friends who traveled to Drupa (printing fair), they just resisted filing court complaints

                                    I have a booked a europe tour for 14 days. The cox and kings tour operater will provide everty thing( i.e Visa Charge, hotel accomadation, hotel transfer etc. ). for that they had charge of rs. 1, 60, 000.00 . 1 have paid rs. 1, 1, 5, 000.00 as an advance . But when they appllied for visa . the schegen visa has cancelled only uk visa they have got. as well as the whole tour is cancelled for schezen visa. they had charge me Rs. 30, 000.00 and the balance they ahve given to me. but i had book with them they said to me that if the visa is cancelled they will charge me a nominial value. around Rs.10, 000.00. but when i had told them about the fact they are ignoring me. please help me.

                                      I cancelled my tickets 45 days back and the money has not been refunded.These are the details:

                                      Date of Cancellation 24/04/2008
                                      When contacted their call centre execs say they are not able to track the money!!!
                                      when asked "hasnt Deccan credited the amount back to you?" they say "no we cant say that" !!!
                                      Its been more than 45 days and i have been calling them continously, only to hear their false assurances.
                                      I have lost hopes of getting my money back when i googled "ezeego1.com fraud" and found out
                                      that many have been cheated like me!!!
                                      Cant believe that this is the travel portal for Peter Kerkar's Cox and Kings.

                                      Even I had been cheated by cox and Kings when I cancelled my trip to Goa, they did not refund me the entire amt.. Now I hope to sue them but dont know how to proceed, any advice from your side would help.

                                      Ms. Rimli. You must initiate action against Cox & Kings as they are deficient in proving services for consideration. You can initiate steps by issuing legal notice and thereafter file a complaint before consumer forum.

                                      I am also suffereing like you. I booked a ticket on 16 June and the transaction failed. Ezeego replied with an acknowledgement stating that, the transaction has been cancelled and no amount will be charged. however, they chraged me for the ticket that was not generated and for which no one travelled.
                                      I have been following up, but now the chat does not work and GSM nos. are switched off. I am in dubai and lost almost rs 2000 just calling these .

                                      Let us come together and launch a joint Legal case against ezeego. Individual cases might not help.

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        I booked a Holiday Package at Goa on 1st week of Dec, 07 thru Credit Card with Cox and Kings at Kolkata Branch via email and paid the entire package amt as instructed by them within the deadline . The total amount charged thru Credit card was INR 55668 .

                                        The voucher for booking was to be sent along immediately, this has not yet happened inspite of reminding them again and again thru emails, phone calls even today.

                                        Following point I want to bring to the notice :

                                        1) Within 10-12 days of booking, I had to cancel the trip due to an emergency situation and I immediately informed Cox and King Executive on this; I urged them to cancel the bookings with nominal charges

                                        2) Please note that while booking via email no Terms and Conditions existed in the mail on Cancellation Charges; still I requested them for a nominal cancellation charge

                                        3) Cox and Kings buys more time from me and finally says that Hotel – Holiday Inn Goa did not agree to waive the charge and they would take 1 NIGHT retention charge which is approx INR 13,000 +. But Cox and Kings charged us 19,000 approx adding up their cancellation policy too

                                        4) Since the entire amount was transacted thru Credit card, I did not have any option to block the payment.

                                        5) I tried to meet personally the Cox and King executive to spare us with a minimal charge but they always pointed out on the Hotel policy but when asked for cancellation + booking voucher they were threatening us that they wont refund us any amount if we ask for vouchers
                                        I requested them to show me the Hotel voucher details for booking as well as Cancellation charge to which they never sent me any receipt yet which questions their credentiality

                                        7) The cancellation charge of 19,000 is a huge amount which is unaffordable for me and moreover there were no terms and conditions where I had signed. I wish NOT to pay the cancellation charge ; pls advise on how to proceed on this

                                        8) Can't the company (Cox and King) arrive at an amicable, consumer friendly settlement or would they risk tarnishing their reputation in the media?

                                        The entire booking + cancellation was done thru email where there were NO TERMS and Conditions specified. Still we were ready to pay nominal charges after mutual settlement which they did not entertain atall.

                                        I am looking for the refund of the amt, kindly help.

                                        As you made the payment on time, why you have not taken any receipt from them ?

                                        It is their policy to take more time, so that passenger can not complaint anymore, at the time of cancellation and refund.

                                        If you have not make payment on time, they got the point that as per the company policy, they did not received the payment on time, so they are not bound to give you any services.

                                        Each and every hotel ahs got their own cancellation policy, but in your case, cnk and has taken more time, so that you do not get the Refund as per the company policy. Otherwise, hotel charges are One Night Retention agaisnt the Cancellation.

                                        They did not gave you the Booking Vouchers, it means they ahve not Booked the Hotel, and they want to keep the Money as Retention Money and show you as Hotel has charged, otherwsie why they threatened you.

                                        How can you even think about Consumer Friendly or why you thought that this company has got reputation in the market or they risk tarnishing their reputation in the media, if they have any.

                                        They want you to take action agaisnt the company, as they have got their own lawyer to fight agaisnt you.

                                        YOUR STRONGEST POINT is that you have not signed any paper or on their Booking Form or on any Paper, SUE them in court and they can not do anything but to give your money back.
