We had booked eastern whirl tour departure date16 june 2017 at your alkapuri vadodara office-ref no.745041. We did not get our complimentary bags before departure inspite of several reminders with mr vaibhav karambelkar in person. Thereafter he informed us bags will be given after arrival back in india.in spite of several reminders, still we have not got our bags. Urgent action is required at your end to see we get bags immediately. Confirm action taken.

    Apart from other plus & minus and please arrange to refund the excess amount charged by your Manager at Bhubaneswar centre during my tour to Europe under Marvels of Europe tour.All have promised to look into the matter before my departure and also assurance given by your manager at Bhubaneswar before and after my tour, even yesterday i.e.21.08.2017, he assured me the amount might have been credited.I will verify and then will reply.The detail is appended below:-
    As per your t&c at the time of booking it was finalised that expenses will be Rs.120000.00 per person Ex-Delhi and with this I agreed to accept your offer.As we are 4 persons, my cost will be Rs.120000.00*4=Rs.480000.00 and I planned accordingly.But at the time of visa I paid Rs.172000.00 and before departure Mr. Avinash, Manager told me to pay Rs.325000.00, otherwise he told me you will not get any refund. It was as per our Company demand.For every query, he replied one thing i.e.it is company's demand.Hence I paid as under
    Total amount paid by me Rs.172000.00+Rs.325000.00=Rs.Rs.497000.00 against your demand at the time of booking of Rs.480000.00 as I have no other option at the last moment..My budget got derailed and during this I have talked to your manager & .official concerned, official of OTDC, .But every body told me to first enjoy the trip and then we will look into the matter.

    Apart from cancellation charges of Rs.68000.00 was paid by me, which was not disclosed till the rescheduling of the date.After my payment of Rs.172000.00 to Mr.Avinash, he told me cancellation charges of Rs.68000.00 will have to pay by me otherwise my entire amount will be non-refundable.If he would have been talked me earlier, I would have been cancelled/postponed my tour after making payment of cancellation charges to our orgn.I asked repeatedly to him about the cancellation charges, but he never gives the details.

    Moreover, we travelled with other 6/7 families from different parts of India.I asked them about tour packages.Their tour packages was also booked @ Rs.120000.00 per person and they have paid accordingly.They have also been supplied with one Cox&King handbag, what we have been deprived off, even never informed about it.

    A lot of thing happens during this horrible experiences.Staying arrangement t hotel was far far below.I will rate 1 out of 10.All customers have complaint over staying arrangement & charges.Pl verify feedback forms.if you really understood my agony and financial loss as well as mental torture, please arrange to refund the excess amount of Rs.17000.00 in my accoun. Plz treat the matter as extremely "Urgent & Important"

    Please refer to my trailing mail on several dates and arrange to solve my problem immediately and refund my excess amount, which was demanded on last day of the tour i.e.on 18.06.2017 over mobile phone by your territory manager posted at Bhubaneswar otherwise your tour will be cancelled.I was at Delhi at that time for departure with my family members, As I had NO OTHER OPTION, I paid entire excess amount .I contact one my colleague and on the strength of my mobile message, entire amount was debited from my account. Everything I will submit in evidences including complaint of other travelers with me. Your Office has acknowledged the excess charge taken but not yet refunded the amount even after 2 and half months already passed. Pl expedite the case. with regds J.K.Patjoshi,

      Hi team,
      My mother went for the enchanted europe tour on 21th may, 2017. There was a plan for visiting 'rome colosseum' which did not happen for some reason. The tour manager mr. Saras said upon receiving his report mentioning this, the kolkata cox & kings team will refund the money.

      But after over 3 months there is no update on the same. My mother has called multiple times to the office but after they said they would contact, the call never came. This is really frustrating. As this is my mother's first experience with cox & kings, i am really unsure why they are making it so bad and stopping any future business that they can have from us.

      Also unnecessarily they asked my mother to convert a lot of money in euro and pound (Over 50k) which never was required at all. There should be more care in handling aged people who might not be having much idea about the approx. Expenditure in the destination.

      Please help us to resolve this issue. Else let me know how to escalate it further, as i am also part of a multinational corporate group, i hope my problem will be taken care of at this stage only as you are in service industry.

        Sir/madam,

        I have received holiday voucher of cox & kings from my company hpcl. I have plans to utilise this voucher for rs 50000/- for my family trip to goa from madurai. My plan details was forwarded to cox & kings chennai along with voucher details on 2/7/17 through email. The rates offered/ charged by cox & kings are very high compared to the online bookings. I have asked for booking royal orchid hotel in goa for 4 nights and that too was informed to them on 2/7/17 for my tour on 18/10/17. They have not confirmed the room bookings till now 20/8/17. While on line room rates are rs 10500/- for my family for one night stay, the rates offered by cox & kings is more than rs 15000/- . Kindly take up with cox & kings so that their vouchers are being honoured and the rates offered are reasonable.

          I would not recommend using cox & kings for any travel bookings. We recently undertook a tour to russia (St petersburg and moscow) using them and had an absolutely terrible experience. They are highly unreliable and unresponsive. They completely misrepresented the itinerary, the quality of the hotel; we were put up in a sub standard hotel, which was nothing like what we were promised. We felt unsafe, had unnecessary mental agony and felt harassed – which was completely unacceptable. We tried to call them from russia – but found them to be completely unresponsive. We have written to them after getting back but are yet to get a response; an apology or compensation i am guessing is out of the question. Pls use your hard earned money elsewhere – they are absolutely not to be trusted.

          Over all very dissatisfied with the tour as it was badly mismanaged by Cox & kings.
          Firstly delay in handing over of all documents prior to the departure, including VISA etc
          Secondly, breach in commitment for a hotel stay at a three star & above, for example Azimut hotel at St Petrsburg was made but however a substandard hotel was provided at the last minute without any prior information

          This has resulted in inconvenience, discomfort & mental harassment during the trip. I should therefore be compensated for the difference between the service promised and provided as also the mental harassment.

            I availed 2 years back europe tour from thomas cook and enjoyed a lot. As i heard that cox and king is an international fame for tours, i make up my mind to avail tour to the usa this time from cox & kings.

            On 18/05/2017, i enquired about us tours after visiting your panchkula branch. After inquiry, i booked "sojourn tour" for the usa starting to be from 30/07/2017 and paid rs 1, 00, 000 /- as booking amount for two persons. On 19/05/2017, i have submitted all the requisite documents as required by them for usa visa processing.

            I am sorry to write that set of papers they have given me for usa visa interview were incomplete which somehow managed to complete by my own and got the usa visa on 28/06/2017. Later on, i was informed that tour on 30/07/2017 is not operating and they have given me the option, either to pre pone or postpone the tour, so i opted for the tour to be commenced from 16/07/2017 at los angeles and ending at 25/07/2017 at new york.

            After that, even my regular perusal they have not provided the tour documents, tickets and complimentary traveling kit as mentioned in the brochure. Due to failure to provide required documents on time i was planning to cancel my tour but after the intervention of mr. Yashpal sharma and mr. Sahitya singh i got the documents and tickets by the evening of 14/07/2017 as i have to leave for new delhi on 15/07/2017but the traveling kit and the detailed bill for the amount i have paid in total on 31/05/2017 was not provided.

            I have never expected these type of poor services from cox and kings who is having a name in the international tourism industry.

            As such you are requested to help me in providing the detailed bills for the amount i have paid for the tour and the traveling kit which has to be provided as complimentary by the company.

              We have booked cox and kings for israel n jordan trip at rs 1, 34000/- + gst out of which we paid a booking amount of rs 87000/- they confirmed our trip but after around 15days time got a call from mr rahul basak of cnk that we have to pay extra rs19800/ per person due to hike in flight fare which was not told during the booking. Seeing such misleading attitude we decided to cancel the trip and asked them to return our booking amount which they committed to be refunded within the next 6days from the cancellation date even after 15 days of follow up still cox and kings is not returning our booking amount of 87000/- and whenever we call mr basak is saying it's under process and has no idea when we will get the money. We feel cheated and severely misguided by cox and kings. Please whoever is reading this message beware of cox and kings they mislead passengers think twice before giving them any booking amount.

                We were charged rs.224598 for two persons for the above mentioned tour, though booking was done on 5th mar'17 at a function organised at hotel brahmaputra ashok guwahati in presence of some officials from your kolkata office. Advertisement and assurances were given that on booking on that date the govt. Tax whatever payable will be paid by your company.
                On reaching moscow, to our utter surprise we came to understand that one of our fellow tourist dr. Parag barman who happens to be from guwahati (Same as mine) and who have arranged the same tour from your guwahati office (Same as i did) was charged rs.210913 for two persons.

                Now why for the same tour and on the same date and arranged by the same guwahati office i was charged rs. 13685 more.

                Please arrange for refund of rs.13685 at the earliest possible.

                I would like to mention that the above was our fourth venture abroad through your company. June'12_ europe, july 14_ china, jan'16 egypt.

                The above price disparity to one of your regular customer was totally unexpected and unacceptable.

                  Dear sir,

                  This complaint is with reference to our greece experience during greece tour from 4th july to 12th july. Please remove santorini from itinerary as we don't have a single memory of santorini except athens to below mentioned blunders done by c&k.

                  1. After reaching mykonos, the hotel is too far from the main town, its around 15kms, so travel expense was more, and hotel is not so good, there is no communication from cox and kings for, some complimentry things from hotel.
                  And mr. Joseph and ms. Chandani cheated that thay had inform in hotel, the truth is there is no communication, no communication from agent for pick up time for the tour, totally disappointed response.

                  2. Santorini is the main island in greece, as we had demand for 4* property in santorini, because we have to spend 3 nights in santorini, and we have paid for 4* property, but they give us 13kms far hotel from the main town, same like mykonos, we have already requested before the 15days from our trip, that we dont want this hotel in santorini, but no change, the hotel is pathetic, the response from cox and kings people of pathetic, they know that we are going for honeymoon purpose, after paid so much money we got only and only pathetic response. Given different types of rooms, rooms not at same floor or near, water bottle not given in room only given on 1st day of santorini, as per joseph we will get minimum 300ml water bottel per room per day.

                  3. The people of cox and kings in ahmedabad they are not up to the mark because cox and kings is not that small name in market, kindly request that please change the people in your organisation, we will not prefered any other for cox and kings.

                  4. One of our friend lost their passport in athens, at that time we had talk with cox and kings a'bad office mr. Joseph lawrence, the response is we cant do anything about claim and we will not help you, we ad just requested for the insuarance procedure for loss of passport, but no response.
                  5. Kindly request to take necessary action to this people, as they are not up to the mark for cox and kings.                     Cox n kings was our travel agent for switzerland which me and my wife had planned for august 13th, 2017.

                    We had given visa inerview in mumbai but our visa got rejected.

                    After a week, i was shocked to see the reason for rejection was that the travel dates, hotel details and return details were not submitted. No itinerary was submitted.

                    It was a total waste of time and money. It was sole responsibiltiy of cox n kings to submit the documents but they failed to do so.
                    Aslo reapplying for visa charges was around rs.14, 000/person + travel charges to mumbai for interview. The whole trip cost actually has risen by rs.25k approx.

                    We had paid cox n kings rs.90, 000 advance. After asking them to refund, they are still asking to cut 10% of the amount and are giving just the balance amount.
                    It is just so unfair for the customers.

                      We first enquired about the “european highlights summer 2017” package in may 2017. We were quite excited about this tour and we confirmed our reservation on 17th may by paying rs 3000 for me and my husband. As a family, we take our annual vacation every year and go for one of the international tours. This would have been our 3rd trip to europe and we were very excited about the offer as it was a budgeted tour covering eastern europe and we were excited to travel cox and kings as like everybody else we were expecting professional conduct and management of tour given it is one of the world’s largest tour operators. We obviously felt that we can rely on them for taking care of our vacation given their scale of operations and the fact that they have been in this industry for so long. This was also the first time we were taking help of tour operator to plan our trip else we always plan our own trips! In fact a few days later we also booked our parents on the same tour as they were also very excited about this. This would have been their first international tour and given that they are senior citizens, we thought this is a good opportunity as the travel operator cox and kings is planning our stay, visa, itinerary, food etc. And hence it will be convenient for them as well.
                      For the last 2 months, my in laws have been counting days for their first international tour, telling their friends and relatives about the same. Little did they know that the so called world class organisation like cox and kings did not care at all about their customers or their wishes or dreams!!!
                      We were asked to make payment of inr 170, 150 and we did pay the same by 29th may 2017. We were asked to make complete payment for 4 passengers by june6th and we did make 100% of our payments by 12th june 2017. We were also asked to apply for visa at least 45 days in advance so that we can keep some buffer just in case there was a delay or visa issues especially for my in-laws who were travelling abroad for first time. Both i and my husband are working. I work for hsbc and he works for axis bank and we arranged for our leave as well other documents for visa and went for our biometrics by 12th june. We were adhering to all requirements by cox and kings and doing as directed by them as we were relying on their many years of experience of managing trips and vacations.
                      One of the mandatory requirements for schengen visa is confirmed return flight tickets. Cox and kings gave us flight tickets of turkish airlines with pnr number for our visa along with hotel stay details etc. Which gave us confidence that we are in safe hands and our trip is as per plan. We submitted all documents and got our visa a month in advance and we were happy and excited about upcoming trip
                      We really didn’t know what was in store for us as we realized that there was complete silence from cox and kings once we had our visa and they had 100% of trip money. We thought that they are expert in arranging trips and will get in touch with us by july sharing with us all other details of the trip. We were surprised when we did not hear from them and we reached out to them on 4th july 2017. We were informed that confirmed flight ticket details were awaited from airlines for the group and can be shared anytime. Since we did not hear from them for next few days, we started calling the tour manager (Mahendra sahane) for an update. We also called multiple other numbers as mahendra was not in office but again same response that airline details were awaited and that they were facing some operational issues. We were asked to give them a day or two to revert. We again reached out on 12th july as we did not hear from cox and got same response that they awaited from airlines. They asked for time till 13th july to revert to us. We obviously started to panic and calling them to get a status on trip, however received no definitive response except that flight tickets were awaited. Finally after much follow up, we get a call from cox and kings stating that they were unable to get us flight tickets for 22nd july (Confirmed and committed date of departure for the package) owing to some issues that they were facing with oman airways and that they are rescheduling the departure to 27th july 2017
                      We were shocked and amazed with this response barely a week before scheduled date of departure. How can a company of the size of cox and kings face issues with an airline and even if they do, is oman airways the only airline which flies to europe or with which cox has a tie up? I am sorry to say that i also work in service industry and we keep customer interest above everything else. How can you not think of the impact on customers owing to this reschedule? We are working people, what if our companies do not grant us leave? What if we had some other personal emergencies at home? On top of all this, we were amazed by the sheer lack of empathy, sympathy and sensitivity by your managers (Harman dsouza) who seemed to be least bothered with our concerns! To our question that is 27th july at least confirmed, the answer was it depends on how many people from group agree to revised dates? I was shocked with this response. Basically a week before planned tour, you are rescheduling the trip and leaving us on mercy of others and not taking ownership of the mess you have created in first place? You were not even ashamed to tell your customers that if we they do not get enough confirmations for 27th, they will cancel tour and not refund us visa, insurance etc. Charges!!!
                      The only reason we are compelled to write this email is to ensure that the senior management in cox and kings is made aware of the plight of their poor customers who trust a global organisation hoping that their vacation is in safe hands and they will have the best experience of their life (I am genuinely hoping that the senior management does not turn a blind eye to our situation like your team on the ground
                      1. I would like to believe that a company of the size of cox and kings must be having an extensive tie up with multiple airlines as you have been in this field for more than 100 years!!! How can you just call up customers a week before departure date and site internal administrative issues for rescheduling confirmed travel packages where you have taken 100% money from your customers!
                      2. Even if i were to believe that there was last minute issue with airline, is the company not supposed to keep interest of the customers above everything else? You are in the business of managing people’s dreams (Travel and vacation is dream for majority of people and especially indians)? Why could you not arrange for some other airline? I have checked online and there are flight tickets available for 22nd july for munich as well as vienna (May be slightly expensive). However as it is you who have not been able to manage the plan and tour, is it not your moral responsibility to pay and do whatever it needs to ensure that customer service is not impacted? When we asked this question to mr. Harman, he declined and passed the problem back to us!!! How insensitive can a company be?
                      3. You insisted that we apply for visa well in advance and also gave us flight reservations with turkish airlines for these dates to facilitate visa process. You scared us that there can be delay in visa or we may be denied a visa etc.? We were worried as my in laws were travelling for first time and did not want anything to go wrong and hence followed your advice and did the needful as suggested by you. Why did you not confirm the flight tickets at that time when you had already started your customers to apply for visa? Isn’t it obvious that visa should be applied once trip is confirmed? You are in the business of travel and am sure were very confident of managing the plan and flight and hotels and hence move things in parallel. We were fooled and blinded by this confidence in your years of experience and did not insist on a confirmed flight ticket before actually going for visa process? So now you are ensuring we pay a price for trusting you and your years of experience in this field
                      4. Why does the customer need to keep following up on travel confirmation? Is it not basic duty of the company to keep us posted on progress or any issues been faced? You were prompt in following up for payment but not when we were asking for status on tour? Why did you wait till 1 week before departure before breaking the news to us? You have basically not left us with any choice now but to depend on your mercy as we cannot really do much in less than a week. Don’t you think it was just as right to be honest and inform us in advance so that we could have managed something? We are working couple, how can you expect us to be available as per your rescheduled plan? When we asked this question to your manager, he was obviously not in a mood to listen or help us
                      5. Also if you are rescheduling the trip to 27th, don’t you think it is your moral responsibility to run the tour even if it means running it for 1 person as the goo[censored]p has happened by the company? How can you still not be sure and again leave customers hanging in year saying that it depends on number of confirmations we have from group for revised dates? This is lowest level of customer service we expect from an organisation in hospitality industry who is not taking any ownership of the problem and has conveniently passed the problem to the customer with no sense of guilt or regret. That is probably because you have done this so many times to so many customers that now the company is immune to issues and pain of the customers!
                      6. The best thing is that if you are not able to get confirmations for 27th, you will cancel the trip! This is easiest thing to do and not refund the expenses which we have already incurred so far (Visa, insurance, local travel of my in law’s from bangalore to mumbai) as this is mentioned in some fine print of the t&c document. Any values driven organisation will think twice before saying this, forget doing this to customers. If you fail to deliver us trip as per plan, don’t you think it is your duty to bear these expenses? You cannot bear or compensate the emotional loss that we are facing, however by deducting our money for your fault is the worst form of customer treatment! This was the first trip of my in-laws, they are still very excited and hopeful, we saved this money for so many months (We are average middle income people) to have one family vacation, all this does not matter to your big organisation??? What matters is making money and being insensitive to customers! You have earning interest out of my money for last 2 months??? What about that? Like me there must be many more in this trip who would have paid in advance?
                      The only reason i am writing this email is because i am hopeful that the senior leaders in the company will stand up for its values of integrity and passion for excellence. We are heartbroken at this experience at the hands of your company and would request the senior management of the company to look into this and help us with our tour. We really are keen to travel on the revised dates (We are willing to work that out) even if it means it is only my family as this is a once in a life time opportunity for my in laws! If the company is unable to do that, i am prepared to take this matter to consumer court as i am not going to let you deduct any money (Visa, insurance etc.) from the amount we have paid you. We need 100% of our money back if you cannot help us with tour

                        I am amit khatri from ahmedabad. I m on a tour to paris and swizerland. My tour manage name is mr. Avinash kittur. First day was our paris we reached in afternoon and other tour members came at night. We went for dinner, food was worst. Second day, lunch and dinner was almost same. Our paris hotel was not upto the mark.
                        even the rooms stink badly. When we asked for the towel, the receptionist told to get from the reception. The tour manager is very rude. He don't know how to talk with children and elders. We are not satisfied with the food. We had the same food since last 3-4 days. When we asked manager to change the food he said the food can't be changed. He is very arrogant.
                        when everyone asked for change he does his own things. Right now i m in glacier3000 while coming down i meet with other cox and king manager and the tour member. They said they get the variety of food everyday. We are not getting the food as per we are promised. And we have even talked to mrs. Khyati madam. We have other people with us from various states they had also complained. Today if we don't get the different food we won't eat and whatever we will eat make sure that cox and kings to pay us the same. This is our kind request to change the food cause children had not ate since last 3-4 days. Please reward.

                          I had booked Super Saver Kashmir Ex Mumbai tour through booking id 752789 for a group of six persons. It was a really horrible and nightmare that we had traveled with CoxandKings. Our pain started after booking itself because reach out to your concern person was nightmare and no single point of contact had been assigned. Nobody was interested to resolve an issue instead of forwarding from one person to another. It was clearly mentioned that I was made this booking as a group of six persons but when our sight seeing started at Srinagar, we were clubbed with four other travelers as a group by your tour manager and forced to travel together. When I mentioned our group booking of six persons and asked them to provide a Sumo or Qualis for our journey, he was simply reluctant. Even I tried to contact your Srinagar SPOC but he was very rude and uncooperative. All six days we had to travel with four other travelers which made our travel unpleasant and nightmare. There was a another group of six who insisted for a separate vehicle and denied to travel without it, finally got a separate vehicle but we didn't because we were cooperative and thought you guys would give a heed for our concern. Even I had spoken to your Mumbai SPOC but all efforts were in vain.

                          Regarding food at hotels during our travel, veg food quality was inferior at all hotels and it was not worth to pay the package cost. Most of the time we avoided to eat that food and keep asking ourselves that why we booked our travel with a such non committed travel company Cox and Kings.

                          Also there was no transparency towards Package cost breakup, I wanted this breakup to claim my LTA but your person simply denied to provide it which really created a doubt what we paid was worth or not. Really by seeing such kind of services, I felt cheated and thinking to approach a consumer forum and social media to highlight your worthless attitude towards a customer.

                          Please revert about these concerns if you really cares a customer. I am a frequent traveler and traveled with MMT etc. but didn't find such kind of experience. It was worse and complete nightmare instead of providing some pleasant moments.

                            This complaint is with reference to our Paris experience during Marvels of Europe tour from 19th to 26th June. Please remove Paris from itinerary as we don't have a single memory of Paris except Eiffel Tower due to below mentioned blunders done by C&K.

                            1. After reaching Airport on first day we were made to wait 1.5 hours in the coach and that too without AC on in 37 degree temperature.

                            2. Despite a 1 night halt in Muscat on 1st day we reached our hotel at 12:30 AM in Chartes which was almost 2.5 hours journey from Paris.

                            3. The dinner was provided at 12:30 AM due to which our 5 yr old Daughter slept without eating anything. There was no water bottles also in the bus. 1st day was gone though we were informed that we will reach Paris by afternoon.

                            4. Next day we reached Disneyland around 12:30 noon and got only 2.5 hours there in which we had to walk from bus parking to rides area which was good 20 minutes walk one side, eat lunch, take rides and come back with a warning from tour manager that you will be left here only if you don't come back on time. Result we were able to take only) one ride. Imagine taking one ride in Disneyland after coming all the way from India.

                            5. Since the hotel was a good 2.5 hours from Paris we were given a bus tour of Paris and 5 minutes to click photos.

                            Our Switzerland experience was ok but Paris was a total failure and waste of our hard earned money.

                            I wrote an email to customer care of Cox & King but just received a reply that they will revert shortly and it has been a week after that but no response.

                            We definitely need a refund or compensation for the first 2 days which were completely mismanaged and ruined our Paris experience hence the trip was only of 4 nights rather than 6 nights.

                              My daughter and myself had booked for a 'Tailor-made Package' to Paris and Barcelona, through Cox and Kings. It was called the Europe Tailor Made Package, and the duration was 7 nights/ 8 days. The commencement of the tour was from 10 May 2017, from KIAL Bengaluru.

                              The package cost me Rs 3, 86, 000/- .

                              On the 9th of May, in the afternoon, I began experiencing some vomiting and stomach upset symptoms. However, I managed to carry on with medication. Since the flight was in the early hours of the 10th, we reached the airport at about 1 am.

                              After baggage check in, I found my health issues resurfacing...this time accompanied by rashes all over my body. My daughter was alarmed, and looking at my weak condition, wondered whether I would be able to undertake the long journey...and the hectic tour thereafter.

                              My daughter is an active young person, but has a loco-motor disability. She needs to wear special shoes called calipers and moves around with the help of crutches. While she is able to walk about on her own, she is unable to carry bags and water bottles.

                              Taking all this into consideration, we decided to cancel the trip. On informing our travel adviser, we were given options that did not suit us at all. I requested the TA to cancel the tour and refund us, since I was advised complete rest for a few days.

                              I was asked to submit a Medical Certificate, which I duly did.

                              A couple of days back, our travel adviser informed me that an amount of Rs 1, 56, 000/- (approx), would be refunded to me. I told her that it was not acceptable to me, since it was not even 50% of what I had paid for the package.

                              No mail was sent to me regarding the refund or the details thereof. I was told only when I called up.

                              My email to them asking for details has not been answered.

                              My questions to this reputed travel agency are:

                              1. How did you arrive at this figure?
                              2. Is it not necessary to keep the customer in the loop?
                              3. A refund means that it is the customer's money you are dealing with. Is it unreasonable therefore, for the customer to know what is being done about it?

                              I request Cox and Kings to give me a full refund. I am not willing to settle for this amount of Rs 1, 56, 000/- given without a word of explanation or apology. High-handedness, and a attitude of dismissal is not what expects from a service provider. Throughout this period, I have been made to feel as if I have committed a grave mistake in falling sick. My falling ill was not a deliberate act...I refuse to accept it as my "fault".

                              I hardly need to say that having to miss this trip, for which we were planning for a long time is bad enough, without travel agents acting as if they are doing us a favor by doling out some money.

                                I mr. Mitesh jayantibhai kachchhi, had done booking with cox and kings under booking ref : 757636 tour : eastern whirl europe - summer for travel date : 19 may 2017, along with my brother (Mr. Tushar kachchhi) and 6 other friends (Mr. Parag rawoot, mrs. Prathvi rawoot, mr. Rajesh tandel, mrs tejal tandel, mr. Mit tandel and mr. Prashant kambli). As per the schedule confirmed by cox and kings, i had paid the entire tour cost amounting to rs. 84750/-.in addition to this i had also spent rs. 3226/- towards flight ticket from mumbai to delhi as the tour pick point was delhi. As conveyed by tour coordinator - mr. Prabahar selvam from cox and kings, i had submitted all the required documents on 19th april, 2017. Accordingly mr. Prabahar selvam, had filled my visa application form and took appointment with vfs global services - (Visa facilitator company) for 26th april, 2017 at 8 am slot with my four other friends (Mr. Rajesh tandel, mrs. Tejal tandel, mr. Mit tandel and prashant kambli). A bunch of duly filled documents that included, visa application form, copies of flight tickets, hotels stay booking, etc were handed over to us just a couple of minutes before entering into the vfs global services office to apply for schengen visa under reference ref - mucz/260417/0002/04 on 26/04/2017 at 8 am slot. On 15th may, 2017 at 7.30pm, i got my passport back along with the visa rejection letter. Simultaneously my friends got the documents pertaining to tour which were inclusive of combined flight tickets of the entire tour group. On verification i observed that on all the flight tickets my title had been mentioned as 'mrs.' instead of 'mr'. This is the sole reason for rejection of my visa. My friends brought this to the attention of cox and kings tour coordinator mr. Prabahar selvam, mr sunil luktuke, mr godbole (Sales), mr dogra (Customer service), mr. Cyrus sarkari (Coo - group) and mr. Peter kerkar (Director) to which they agreed that this mistake is happened at their end. Since there were no option available to going on the said tour to me, due to their mistake, i was expecting 100% refund from cox and kings. But they are least bothered about it. Moreover they have unnecessarily booked flight ticket while return journey, from mumbai to delhi by using the cost paid by me.

                                Kindly help in getting me the total tour cost alongwith a sufficient amount towards mental harassment that i have undergone during this course of time till date. I also request for cancellation of cox and kings license, so that innocent person should not face such situation in future.

                                  My refund of rs.12000 appx still not recd for tickets cancelled from mumbai to delhi on 3rd june 2017, despite of many many reminders sent by me to akshita dubey of cox and kings, delhi office cox, neither she is replying.
                                  At the time of cancelling the tickets jet airways representative told me that i will be getting refund of rs.12000 appx on 3 tickets, but the refund will be recd by me from cox and kings as the tickets were booked through them.
                                  Since then i m reminding akshita dubey for the same but neither she has refunded my money nor replying to me.
                                  Sending legal notice also.

                                    This is with regard to the scenic himachal tour from 10th may to 18th may taken by me and my family.
                                    Overall hotels provided were not up to the mark and much below the standard assured to us from a reputed company like yours.
                                    I would like to bring forth the following specific issues in the hotels provided by you:
                                    1. Hotel surya, shimla : we were provided accommodation for two family suites for our two night stay in shimla. Let me bring to your attention that one family suite can accommodate 4 people, hence booking for one family suite would suffice.
                                    As per the hotel voucher we were charged around rs.38, 000 for our stay in shimla. Had there been no such booking error from your side, we would have been charged half the amount.
                                    On speaking to ms. Sayani dutta (Mandeville gardens, kolkata, cox and kings) her excuse was that she couldn't understand the difference between a family suite and a room.
                                    This is highly unprofessional behavior from a so called travel expert.
                                    2. Hilltone resorts and spa, baragran:
                                    Our hotel in manali was at a distance of 15km from the main city. The quality of the rooms and service was much below standard for what we were charged. The rooms were unhygienic with dirty water and spiders in blankets.
                                    Loud music was played till almost midnight for private parties, disturbing our sleep.
                                    Overall we were highly disappointed with our stay in this hotel at which we had to spend three whole nights.
                                    The hotels at mcleodganj and dalhousie were reasonably ok but still not up to the mark.
                                    We had opted standard hotels for our trip which include 3 to 4 star gotels, however our accommodation was provided in 2 star or budget category hotels.
                                    Overall we had to highly compromise on the quality of hotels.
                                    Due to this unpleasant experience, we would think twice before booking with cox and kings in the future.

                                      So me and my mother along with many other people had booked the tour marvels of europe tour which was supposed to depart from new delhi ok the 12th of june. Later we were informed that the tour will start from 11th. The tour was supposed to last till 18th and me made leave requirements accordingly. Our visa applications were filed on emirates tickets. Much later, post arrival of visa, we were informed that we will not be flying emirates we will be flying oman airways (Which is a pretty pathetic flight). The tickets were not made available to us till 3 days before the tour. And that is when we realised we have 20 hour halt in muscat both going and coming back, hence pushing our tour to be longer by 2 days which was entirely uncalled for. Further, we had informed the tour operator that we shall be taking vegetarian meals throughout the trip.

                                      Day 1 - while flying from muscat to paris, which is a 7 and a half hour flight, we were not served any proper meal. Why? Because cox and kings had not made any request for vegetarian meals to be served to me and my mother along with all other vegetarian travellers travelling under this package. They did not block preferable seats for us or made any request for the same. And this information also wasn't shared with us. There was no transparency with regards to documentation and bookings. We were only given final documents one day prior to our departure, hence keeping us in the dark. And we called the respective tour manager mr. Vishal and mr. Rohit of the chandigarh cox and kings office daily 2-3 times just get no response.

                                      Day 2 - finally we reached paris exhausted. We reached hotels which were hours away from paris and barely had any connectivity to the city. The hotel we stayed in was hotel campanile at roissy-en-france. We were informed we would have decently sized rooms. But the rooms in this hotel ended where they started. It was equivalent to leaving in a hostel with rooms the size of a rat hole. There were no water bottles provided either in the rooms or coach.

                                      Day 3 - our tour manager mr. Sachin turned out to be a greater #. He was not at all accommodating or helpful. We were only given 3 hours to see the entire euro disneyland. Only three hours!!! Not only that while returning me and my mother lost the way out and we called the manager to help. Instead of helping us he threatened to leave without us and did not help us find the way. Later that day we only took us to visit eiffel tower for 5 minutes. That is it!!! We even requested him to let us stay longer and he again threatened that he will leave without whoever doesn't turn up. He took us for a city tour in a bus where we weren't allowed to get down at all to see anything what se ever or even use the rest room. Further he served us dinner at 6 and was planning to take us back to the hotel when we could use the remaining day to explore the city. When this request was made to him he blatant refused. When we and a group of other families finally told him we shall explore on our own be further even refused to help us with what mode of transport we should use.

                                      Day 4 - this was a huge waste of a day. We travelled 12 hours, twelve hours in a bus from paris to geneva and then to leysin.in a bus!!! When we could have done the same in a train, which would have been more comfortable and less tiring. To add to that, mr. Sachin our tour manager would torture us with he sarcastic remarks and lecturing over etiquette as if we are a bunch of illiterates who do not know how to behave in public. He would only stop the bus for 20 minutes for lunch and toilet breaks for 46 people. And as usual would threaten to leave without whoever is a little late stating that these were companies orders. Also we only stopped in geneva for 25 minutes. It was as if we were ticking pointers off our itinerary further we were promised a view at mt. Cox and kings in leysin in a cable car. Thanks to the ill-planned tour we only reached mt. Cox and kings after sunset. Sunset in europe happens post 10:30. We had been on the road since 9 in the morning.

                                      Day 5 - today we had to travel to jungfraujoch glacier. What we weren't informed was that the glacier will be a 3 hour road trip and 1 and half hour train trip from the location of hotel. Turns out all the hotels booked were extremely far off from the main cities. It's a college disaster. We waste so much of our day in travel. So many people were feeling sick due to all the unnecessary travel in the hills. To top it up no dinner was prepared for us when we returned. We had to make the tour manager order pizzas for us which only arrived post 11:30. And we had to pack for travel for the next day for which also we have already been threatened that if we aren't able to check out on time we shall get be left behind by mr. Sachin.

                                      The tour is still going on and we are extremely disappointed with the arrangements made so far.

                                        Hi team,

                                        We had north east tour on 28th april to may 04 in cox and king (Individual tour package) and this was the very worst trip ever in my life.

                                        My worst thing is we trust cox & king for good quality but we face very worst arrangement and journey.

                                        The three important thing that need to take care is accommodation, cab and food but we face problem in all item

                                        Cab:
                                        A) in day 2, one of the itenery baba mandir was cancelled on that day due to rain so we ask driver to drop in mg road (City center) but he dropped us in the middle of the road and he misguided as like short distance but we walked lot of distance to reach the destination and we felt unsecured in remote place also my child become very tired and whole day spoiled.


                                        B) we were provided cab with poor condition even without door lock and all drivers except day 1 none of them known basic english, they speaks only nepal language not even hindi, if i ask the coordinator (Arjeet) he is ask me learn hindi to survey and he speaks 2 min continuously in hindi to me even he knows that i don’t know hindi, what a poor attitude.

                                        While we travel to pelling car wiper is not working in cab, there was heavy rain we forced driver to stop the car and then he did something and made wiper to work.

                                        C) we were very specific to travel separately in vehicle since we took individual package but in day 2 one lady travelled along with us to tshangu lake.
                                        From gangtok and pelling one guy travel along with us.
                                        From pelling to dargeeling one guy travel with us without asking our permission, he was sitting where all my baggage were kept and make us feel insecured.


                                        Hotel:
                                        A) hotel in gangtok and pelling is good but in darjeeling retreat is very bad with poor maintenance after a long way from pelling to dargeeling we were provided very poor maintained room where doors could not locked properly after many times of follow-up we have been provided other room near to staff room with full of cigarette smell, i have attached the snap that took in retreat.

                                        Breakfast was very poor only bread and aloo paratha are available even there is no side dish

                                        Attempt to reach yash pal (Cox and king coordinator) multiple times but we could not reach him some one pickup the call and was not responsive.

                                        I didn’t expect this from cox and king and we were told by your team that parking charges will be taken care by themselves but in spot we paid parking, it is very paltry amount but just i want to notify.


                                        I need proper justification for me choosing cox and kings with this poor service i don’t think to get your service in future also i cannot recommend to my friends and peers

                                        This need to be escalate!
