I had booked for thailand malaysia singapore trip scheduled on 29th dec 2018, and these people informed me about the cancellation of the trip just 15 days prior to the scheduled date. Is it a regular practice for this company, 200 yr old that too. The entire money 4 lakhs for 4 people have been taken, passports taken (Not yet given back to us) and informed us just by a short mail on 13th dec, 2018. I want immediate response by mail or whatever. Sales representative: stanford decosta (A horrible person, never taking calls, always rude)

I want immediate response else i will resort to social media.. All my 3000 friends should know this so that they don't make the same mistake of going for a costly trip by this travel agency.

    The company had asked for advance payment of rs.14000 for booking of our tour package. After making payment we asked for confirmation of our booking but they did not provide us. As it was getting late for us to wait we asked for our refund as we booked somewhere else. Instead of refunding our amount they said they will sue us for the rest of the amount. A guy named suraj was there with whom we had this conversation. We have attached a screenshot of payment made to the company. We want our money back as this is sheer fraud.

      We have booked the instant mauritius package from andheri, maharashtra cox and kings office through online and paid 40k as token money.
      From the booking no single communication we have received from the executive, each time we have called upon and gone through the long process and assured us we will get a call for the rest of the process, or ' they are having lunch/ not in the seat/ is on leave/ busy with another call' - these types of statements we got.
      As our departure date is very near and booked the domestic air ticket too from kolkata to mumbai, we are bit worried about the confirmation, moreover, we have received wrong information filled in the form, your executive asked their back-end team have done wrong, that will be rectified too, but no update till now.

        I booked australian wonders tour booking ref :- 1046986 on 26.10.2016 for travel date of 25.11.2016 after making full payment. One day prior to my travel i got a mail from mr vedag chahad of cox and kings that my booking got cancelled and 100 % cancellation charges on me. The reason for cancellation they gave me that visa did not arrive. As providing visa to me on time was responsibility of cox and kings. I am sending them several mails but not getting any response from them.

        We booked Instant Mauritius package from Andheri, Mumbai location through online, our travelling date is 30th January, till date we have paid 40k. But we are not getting any response from the executive, each time they are refusing to talk with us by making excuse, very unprofessional and worse customer service we are getting. We dont know what is going to happen with us, please help us with the update and rest procedure. We have tried number of times to reach them, and emailed to customer service department too.

          As i had book package for hongkong and macau, on 18th november we went to ocean park first of all driver came late to pick and he did't wait for our arrival and went without taking us and for reaching hotel back we have to hire taxi for which we paid fare of hkg $ 300 means rs.2800/- and we informed cox and kings coordinator mr. Tejpratap vishwakarma vaman center, mumbai office but he behaved like dictator and did't give any response and still following with him but did not get any proper reply. As please find the attached voucher of the supplier for the reference.

            This mail is to share feedback for the egypt trip that we had made through cox and kings mumbai for a party of 4 travelling together. We were very happy with the tour guides mohammad atif (Teefa) in cairo and mahmoud in cruise boat and luxor. They were extremely polite, helpful, smart and kind hearted and their knowledge on egypt is highly commendable.

            We were also very happy with the accomodations provided at ramses hilton in cairo plus ms. Libery cruise ship & last day accommodations at soneta st. George hotel in luxor. Service received at these 3 places was "par excellence".

            However all 14 o[censored]s had major disappointments that cannot be ignored and management should make note of it and treat this matter with the highest priority and rectify it immediately so that in future cox & king guests are not made to go through this torture of eating inedible, unpalatable, tasteless, bland, insipid and unnappetizing food served and the nasty experience of staying hungry after a long day's walk on the tour just as we did.

            One of the most important factors that should be considered by a travel company for their guests during the travel is food. Majority o[censored]s were vegetarians so it should not have been difficult for selecting the right restaurants. However it will be sad to say that the veg and non veg both food options were much below our expectations.in egypt for 2 nights i ended up ordering food from the hilton in room dining for a exhobirant price of $45.00. The quality of food served to us was way below par for a company been in existence for 260 years serving millions of guests.

            In simple words...
            We really had to suffer badly especially where they just didn't get it what it takes to make guests happy!!

            We kept requesting for a better option but very rarely it met our expectations. Its a shame that cox and kings failed in this category even after being in this industry for so many years. I dont wish to go in details but you guys have to take some good decisions or be a loser in the tourism race.

            Food is a very important factor during a journey and bcoz of this bad experience i really dont know if i would suggest cox and kings to my friends and relatives.

              I booked flights with cox and kings delhi booking, id's 1046388 & 1046398.
              Within hours of my booking i asked them to cancel the booking due to some un avoidable circumstances, as per the government law, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours without a fee, still i'm not getting my refund,
              Kindly process the full refund for this booking and maintain the trust i have on cox and kings for years now,

              Else, unfortunately i will have to file a civil case against this,

                In my family we are two adult and two kinds less than 12 years but he has charged all four person as adult the hotel he has arrange the boss was pathetic and there staff has stolen my $100 from our room at the time of cleaning.
                I feel cheated in this transaction with your company and decided not to take any package from your company.

                    I have been planning to us tour with my family in the month of november, 2018, so i contacted many tour and travel company.

                    Although i have received a quotation at the higher price from cox and kings as compared to other travel agencies, i prefer this company so that i rest assured for the services as i was travelling with my family.

                    My tour was of around rs. 10, 00, 000/- and i paid rs. 8, 00, 000/- in advance. But while submitting my final payment, the marketing person mr. Sahil told me that, now the usd rates have changed so i have to pay rs. 14, 000/- extra. Till then i have exchanged almost 40 emails with the company, in none of the emails, you ever have informed me about this. I told them, please show me one email in which you have mentioned this. But none.

                    I have been pushing them for the payment which to make, i also have all the whatsapp chat and lots of emails with me to prove this. I will share this you if you need. But they has asked for the payment only a day before my travel, and i had not option to pay whatever they were asking.

                    I have been quoted in inr and never informed about that the difference i have to pay if there is a change in usd exchange rates if that would have the matter, i would have paid upfront full amount and should not wait to rs. 2, 00, 000/- or i would have opted another travel agent.

                    I can share all the details with you and please let me know, where i am wrong, for which i paid extra for that.

                    You have charged me rs. 14, 000/- additional amount and i have no option but to pay as i have fly very next day.

                    If you have not informed me about the usd and inr concept at all in any of your emails, then why i have been charged.

                    I don't know whether your company have reduced the rates for some of your customers when usd is reduced against inr while making a payment by your customer, that is a matter of concern.

                    I have contacted consumer court for this matter but they have told me that i initially should contact you and revert back to them with your reply.

                      Although itinerary includes a visit inside historical colosseum in rome, we were denied the opportunity on the excuse of nonavailability of tickets due to overcrowding in spite of booking the tour so much earlier. This is a life time opportunity. It would not return again. So i could hope that you should realise the pain and take suitable action to redress the grievance. Ticket price although included in the tour price was not returned.
                      I should say that otherwise the tour was wonderful and memorable one.

                            There is no use sending a Complaint to Cox & KIngs. - to start with they will call it "feed-back" !

                            There will not be any response. If you persist and followup, then due to compulsions, some kind of response with flowery words and assurances will be sent.

                            I complained, after one month non-response, reached the Company's "Quality Head", repeatedly followed up and finally got a response, which they have treated as "feedback" for future interactions !!

                            Only option open seems Legal action.

                              It was informed by the cox and kings (Hereinafter called as c & k) delhi office at connaught place that hub of the tour is kolkata.in spite of repeated inquiry total number of tour participants was not revealed. After joining the tour came to know the number of participants as 26. Out of these 26 participants the couple mr. & mrs banerjee is septuagenarian/octogenarian, one lady having problem of walking and climbing steps due to defects in her legs. C & k might be aware of them, but the tour and the coach was not friendly for differently able persons. The tour was not transparent in respect of hotels in switzerland and italy, because the details of hotels at switzerland and italy were not given before leaving india.in fact the same were not disclosed by tour manager at the time of receiving us in london.in fact in switzerland and italy every day we came to know the details of hotels after check-in there at night after whole day journey on tour and our dinner at 8 pm in some restaurant which is far away from the hotel. This was nothing but kinds of torture which was accepted by every participant for the sake of tour, for which they have spent their hard earn money. During the entire tour there were many boring long journeys without any amusement in coach, though the coach has facilities. Tour manager did not take any initiative to make them operative except only once when participants volunteered their own collection in mobiles. Guide service was poor.in london due to misguidance and callousness of the guide, who boarded the coach after a round of london city many of the participants could not visit the buckingham palace. Only 15 minute time was give for the buckingham palace and the museum; where we were dropped; near the palace. While taking the group to buckingham palace neither the tour manager nor the guide ensure that all 26 participants are not there, nor they made any effort to gather the participants who were inside the museum.in fact they failed to perform their duties. We were not even taken nearer to big ben stating that the place is out of bounce due to maintenance. However in this regard nothing solid evidence is there that the big ben was out of bounce.in accordance to itinerary we were supposed to go to paris from london through eurotunnel instead we were taken on ferry, which is breach of trust.in paris we were not given tickets for third level of eiffel tower, stating that the 3rd. Level is closed for visitors, when it was open for visitors and according tour itinerary we were supposed to get tickets up to 3rd. Level for which we paid to c & k. I personally checked from the officials of eiffel tower that when we were there the 3rd. Level was open for visitors. Itinerary for switzerland was suddenly changed, instead of 3rd. Day the 2nd. Day was made free day just to save hotel charges as it appeared.in rome near colosseum due to violation of parking norms/rules we were detained for two hours by the police, which was again harassment for the participants. Initially the tour manager was not polite and behaving very rudely saying she does not care anybody, however later on she changed her attitude. It appears that she is inexperienced tour manager, according to internet surfing she is a bridal makeup artist in mumbai.
                              The above fact were submitted to c & k as feedback on[protected] with the request to investigate the matter and take appropriate action.

                                I mrs lata subba w/o col tb subba, retd lost my baggage ie one yellow colour, vip suitcase while travelling to singapur by air asia flt no qz 511 on 19 dec 2017 on a package tour of cox & kings. After arriving at singapur chengi air port, i have lodged a written complaint with the sats baggage services vide report ao1668ft on 19 dec2017 at about 1630 hrs.
                                The loss of baggage was also reported to the tour manager of cox & kings accompanying the tourists during the tour period.
                                The loss baggage was not found during the entire period of the tour. After reaching kolkata airport on 25 dec 2017, a joint complaint written letter was given to area manager, air asia manager, kolkata manager.
                                I have further sent written complaint letter to customer care, air asia, india ltd, at devanahalli, bangalore on 27 dec 2017 and, air asia kl sentral, 50470 kualalampur, but neither the loss baggage nor the compensation from the insurance co. Has been received till date
                                An earnest request to compensate the loss of my baggage on to[ priority.
                                I have lost with the baggage my valuable meaterials. Clothings and misc items worth rs, one lakh.

                                  This is zaid shaikh here from goa. Today i went to cox and kings at margaon goa which is located near ktc bus stand for money exchange. I spoke to the receptionist regarding £25 for the exchange in indian rupees and he gave me exchange rate and all that but his owner was not available at that moment for this formalities so they made me wait for half an hour because he was outside after word with owner by the receptionist. Right after half an hour receptionist again called his owner about the update so receptionist passed the phone to me to speak with his owner and i spoke to him while on the conversation owner gave me some lame excuse by saying their system is not working so he requested me to come back after 1 or 2 days. Now why didn't owner informed me this at first place instead of making me awaited for half an hour. What is assume from this is that the owner was looking for big money not a small £25. But this is very bad and unappreciated. I had trust on cox and kings about its integrity and trustworthyness.

                                    Due to an error on the website of cox and kings, the package that we booked was not available at the price displayed on the website. Hence we asked for cancellation of the booking and refund of the booking amount of rs. 14, 114/-

                                    We have been coordinating back and forth with the representative mr. Moinuddin but we have not received the refund, or a timeline by when the same will be processed.

                                    This is sheer negligence and poor customer management. The delay is unacceptable as the fault in this case is completely of cox and kings.

                                      The sales person sachitanand chauhan has told while booking that visa is possible by that time

                                      There was no enough time reserved to consider the time process the visa

                                      We have paid amount of 1 lakh rupees to cox and kings

                                      And after paying he says that the visa may not arrive on time i. E before october 17

                                      This is a problem from cox and kings side
                                      That the enough time was not reserved for visa

                                      So we request the cox and kings to consider this problem from ur employee and process us a full refund
