Respected Sir/Madam

We took the glimpse of Europe Tour with this highly renowned tour and travel company ie. Cox And Kings. Our trip was going on a satisfactory note until the talk of our free day began..
we were informed by our tour manager that on our free day we were supposed check out of our hotel at 7 am in the morning which was not at all mentioned in the itinerary at all, and told us to look out for ourselves as she had to take the other group to Grund (a train station in Switzerland) for the excursion that we didnt choose as we wanted to relax as it was our "Free Day".
The tour manager dismissed our requests of any sort and had no solution for our family of 8 people and we were left stranded out of the hotel at 7 am in the morning.

Then after a heated discussion she agreed that while checking out of the hotel, she will drop us off at Interlaken while on her way to Grund, we agreed to this plan as we had no other option left after being harrased by our tour manager refusing to coordinate with eight of her tour members.

My family and I were all set to be dropped off at Interlaken but due to her utter mismanagement, she did not coordinate with the bus driver well. When the driver asked if he should drop us all first to Interlaken she refused and told him to take route leading straight to Grund then later when we asked the driver to drop us at interlaken as promised by our tour manager, he too denied our request saying that the tour manager Mrs Reshma did not plan it this way at all with him... rather than coordinating anything at all for my family of Eight member and another couple of the tour she left us in middle of no where with no instructions whatsoever at the Grund train station. When we called and contacted her she told us that she can't help us and asked us all to be on our own.

My family at this point of time was left humiliated and harassed on a foreign land with no assistance from the Cox and Kings team in Delhi as well despite of them being aware of our situation we were told that they will get in touch with the Head office in Mumbai and get back to us .. disappointment strike further on when we got no response from them as well

I have been a loyal customer of this company since the last few years and had paid a good amount of 10 Lakh rupees on this tour but still was mentally and emotionally harassed by this Tour and travels company.

Despite of many Complaints made to the Delhi office I received no response and wasn't compensated for the expenses( total of 432 Franc, 30, 013 rupees INR ) LET ALONE FOR THE MENTAL HARASSMENT I had to incur due to the mismanagement of the tour manager and this well renowned travel company.

PRAYER: On behalf of my family, it is my humble request that we should be compensated for all the financial troubles we went through and the mental harassment faced by us in the foreign land.

    I have booked Extravagent Europe trip along with my brother family with cox and king, delhi departure from 5 june 2018. It was 15 days and 14 night trip and we were 5 people, paid 280000 each .
    We were harassed by poor services from very first day. As promised according to trip document, We were supposed to have Orientation tour and ride on the london eye on first day, but insisted we reached london at night because of flights booked by cox. First day was totally wasted when we paid 15lac for trip each day would cost us around 1 lac.
    Because our day was wasted then we were rushed to each spot on the next day, not providing us enough time. It was like a run race all day.
    HOTEL promised by cox and king were inside city or near with approximate 10 min distance. BUT insist company provided us hotel outside city with 90 minutes or more at every country . We were made travel for food and hotel all day long and providing dinner 6:00 pm and leave us at hotel just after that.

    Hotel was outside the city due to which Cab cost us around 130 pound round trip in london i.e 12000rupees that we took from hotel to city center in evening on our own .
    We had bad experience with Company tour and felt cheated because of poor services and commitment.
    I would like to have refund from them and to review their services.

      The Palace on Wheels train was not the one as advertised in their brochure, as being yellow and red. The train used was taken/purchased from old stock because their advertised train failed the safety test. Palace on Wheels management who were on the train confirmed the change due to no other stock being available. Misrepresentation train use for our tour on Palace of Wheels train. We request a full refund from Cox and Kings. Our Complaint and report were handed into to Palace on Wheels and Cox and Kings.
      2) Coxs and Kings confirm this refund o[censored]SD$1050 last March but have not yet paid this sum. Waiting refundrefund from Cox and Kings. No provision in your site to attach documentation.

        I have booked a tour to europe and paid a initial advance of rs.3000.00. After this your representative called me that your tour have been arranged fro april month so if you pay rs.40000.00 as advance then we will arrange the tour. I have sent my passport and documents and along with rs.40000 and other supporting documents during february 2018. But during april your representative told that you are single traveler, so we are unable to arrange tour program for you, so they returned the passport. But repeated requests rs.43, 000.00 is not sent back to me.
        Before arranging the partner, you have asked me to send the money and i also paid it within the time you have told, but when it comes refund you are unable to do it promptly. Hope you will act as gentlemen.

        The concerned staff krithika and arun are not responding properly. Please educate the satff to settle the issues at the earliest

          I booked canada tour holiday package326000₹ but when customer gose that time thay not provided properly services likel hotel breakfast transfer & transportation promised places not visited cab services done thay not provided canada all time international all to local agent & company no call but responce before booking time all is itarnary is good after tour all payment recived after all is change without inform not before depture not to canform not explain all detail after i goes canada very bed experience and tres & hedache again many time call & many write email but not any responce to me after all file case counsumer court & media to inform to cox andkings tour company is fraud cheating with me i come back 12 may 2018 wait to 28 jun 2018 final i decided to legal action by cox and kings comapany customer care center to complient to but he was not replay for me 45 day s wait but now i go ahed legal action

          I am not satisfied cox & kings staff lady name is narmada muthu because she was told me you want extra money demand so you go goverment counsumer firm complient i given long time courat ki tarikh pey tarikh and you taired you forget your refund money rember my company is very big company just your type customer many come and forget money evry time so you wait 10 year period

            I had gone to europe along with my family from 28th may'18 to 4th june'18 through cox & kings package - marvels of europe. All the group members had a bitter experience with the services of cox & kings. I would never recommend anyone to opt any package of cox & kings. I am giving below some of the major issues that we faced:

            1. Communication from cox & kings - very poor. The flight tickets, hotel booking information and other documents were given at the last moment. I was not aware of the flight timing from chennai. I had to follow up constantly for visa and the date of interview for visa was given at the last moment. We had to travel to kolkata on unreserved ticket.

            2. Tour manager - he did not have the itinerary. He wanted a copy of the itinerary from us. Instead of keeping us comfortable during the tour, he kept us tensed by saying that he needs to check the hotel confirmation. After travelling in bus for 7 to 8 hours and when we hear that the hotel room needs to be confirmed, it created a lot of tension. We had to wait for a long time in most of the hotels for the room keys. I am surprised the so called reputed cox and kings send tourists to europe without hotel confirmation. He was reluctant to help us. On the day of optional tour, there were few people who did not opt. He asked them to vacate the hotel at 8 am and he told that they will be dropped at interlaken where they have to stay till in the evening. Then only rooms will be given. After a lot of argument and bitter discussion, he finally arranged hotel for them.

            3. Gala dinner at mount cox & kings - we were given only 1.5 hours. We were tired for the bus journey which started at 8 am. We reached the mount cox & kings late in the evening. We were asked to have dinner quickly and no entertainment was there as written in the itinerary.

            4. Local tour guide - there was no local tour guide except for one hour in paris.

            5. From paris to switzerland we traveled on bus which took around 8 to 9 hours. We were shown geneva and other places without getting down from bus. We were straightway taken for gala dinner at mount cox & kings

            6. Itinerary - most of the time we were travelling in bus. On the last day we were asked to vacate the hotel after break fast and proceed to airport. We would have reached airport by 12 noon. Our flight was at 11 pm. We requested the tour manage to arrange for a city tour in munich which he refused. Finally we arranged the city tour on our own. Kings.

            7. Local tour guide - there was no local tour guide except for one hour in paris.

            8. Hotels were not conveniently located resulting in long hours of bus journey
            The overall service of cox & kings was very poor. Would request for refund of atleast 30% of the amount paid.

            As regards Sales Officer, I am not sure about their role. I understand the issue was delay in communication from your regional or main office and information about flight details and hotel reservation.

            I would further like to add that kindly check with the Tour Manager, the places he has covered. You may check with any of member of our group and am sure you will get more negative feedback. The group size was also big i.e. 57.

            I am very much disappointed and regret spending money on this package. Hence I have requested for refund of 30% of the amount.

This year also we planned to spend our vaccations but the lady sitting at ludhiana branch named deepti bajaj dont know how to talk and she is not returning our passports and money.                 Cox and kings india company one of kind there sales people committed something, there operations people will provide you something else and your tour manger tell you the truth once you reach to your destination.you feel helpless, cheated, betrayal. It happened with me I am Mita Upadhyay wife of Maneesh Kumar upadhyay. We went to Europe trip(marvels of Europe) on 11 June 2018 . Our package was started from 1, 09, 000 and then we added optional tour in it jungfrau and illuminating show and river seine cruise in it. After adding all the options, package insurance and EMI chargers it costed approximately 3, 90, 000 for two adults and one child . We got GST wavered since some promotion was going on. We agreed on it and we paid full amount to Rittika aggarwal cox and kings employee . One day before to our traveling date operation person Rahul Kumar informed me that optional things r not included in my package and he emailed me the bill of 351000. Then later on phone he said jungfrau is included in ur package but illuminating show and river seine cruise is not included and you won’t get it . And Rahul and all his senior told us to travel on the same itinerary and we will sort it out everything once you will back form trip . It’s been one week now nobody is helping us . They are not refunding our money . They are least bothered .
                Kindly help us.

                Most fraud company cheated with a lady i had booked for ladak got welcome letter also paid 70%oftotal cost at the end moment when the time had come to go the changed my room category. I want they should return back my money with penalty. I will request peopel to stay away from this fraud and cheating company.

                  1. We booked a tour from cox and kings american bonnanza, summer, 2018 and completed on 14 june, 2018.
                  At the time of booking the tour we had seen that hotels shown in website of cox and kings for the above tour were very good, but at the last moment of the tour, they changed the hotels and booked very poor quality hotels in some places i. E. Specially at the last destination, los angeles (Pic of room's curtain attached). Everyone of the members of the tour group complained to tour manager. But he was helpless because everything was planned from mumbai based office.
                  2. Regarding the meals - at new york, washington and los angeles was worst quality even breakfast too.
                  I request team of cox and kings to review this matter and plan any tour very carefully so that customer feel comfortable at any cost. Because this time most of the members were above 50, so it was very difficult to them to travel more than 1 hour to hotel after having dinner.

                    Dear sir/madam,
                    I had booked a tour of singapore and malaysia (From 28th may 2018 to 3rd june 2018) from cox & kings' new delhi, saket (Mgf metropolitan mall) branch and the concerned persons handling my booking were ritika aggarwal (From this branch) and rahul (From the cannaught place branch - i suppose) - (The pdf format copies of my booking documents and itenary are attached in the attachment of this mail.
                    I was getting a similar package from de pauls for rs 190000 but i paid rs 223000 (Rs 33000 extra) because i thought that "cox and kings" is a very good company and i would get very good service and comfort in my trip (As i was travelling with kids) on taking the package from "cox and kings" company but the bad experience and mental agony that i have had in this trip has left me very disappointed and am feeling very bad and cheated. I was repeatedly assured by ritika ji that she would always be available to help us if we had any problem or issue in our trip and if we inform her she would immediately do the needful to help us but whenever we informed her of the problems we had in the trip all she replied was that the problem had been noted and has been informed to rahul (I don't know who mr rahul is but everytime we had an issue and we informed her all the reply we got was that issue has been updated to mr rahul and the needful would be done) in the beginning i was calling her up everytime but later on when i started realizing her careless attitude i started sending her whats up messages (For my record), i have attached the screenshots of all such messages sent from my moblie to ritika ji's mobile during my trip (In the attachment of this mail) in which i had been regularly informing her about the issues we were facing but you can see in her replies that all she is saying is that issue has been noted and updated to mr rahul and needful would be done, but till today (10th june 2018) after 1 week of my trip over, i have not received a single reply from neither ritika nor mr. Rahul about any solution of our issues. I have explained the step by step issues below -
                    1/. From the starting of the booking itself i was feeling very poor response and service from the people handling my booking as i had submitted all my documents way advance (Almost a month in advance) and had also paid 1 lakh rs as advance on 10th may 2018 and after that i kept visiting their saket office personally now and then (As my office is also in the same mall) for any other documents requirement and kept calling ritika ji also to get my booking done in time and hand me the final booking documents and passports (With visa) at-least 4-5 days in advance so that if i have any correction or modification to be done in the booking i can tell but inspite of my regular reminders and follow up i got the final set of all my booking documents and passports on the 26th of may evening and on 27th night was my flight, anyways i thought that at-least i got the documents before the trip (Thank god) and forgot and continued with my trip with happy mind.
                    2/. When we reached singapore on 28th morning we did not get one of our luggage and got to know from the airport staff that airline people have left the luggage and would be reaching from next flight (We had to wait at the airport for almost 3 hours and in that chaos we missed the pick up taxi that had come to pick us up to the hotel and i had to do isd calls to contact the agency and emergency no. S etc. After that we were told by the airport lost and found staff that if your tour is insured then if you file a complaint then you'll get some re-imbursement from the airline company so, i immediately sent a copy of my lost luggage document received from the airport lost luggage department and informed ritika ji (From coxs and kings) about the incident and asked her to file a complaint to the airline company (The images of the whats up messages sent to ritika ji with this document and asking her to do the needful are attached in the attachment of this mail) but nothing has been updated to me yet on this issue.
                    3/. When we reached our hotel in singapore (Siloso beach resort) we were given two seperate rooms and when i insisted them that we are a family with kids and we need joined rooms or a big family room (Which i had specially mentioned to ritika ji at the time of booking and which is obvious also that we would be needing joined rooms or big family rooms with extra bed) but the hotel people told us that nothing such had been informed them at the time of booking and they cannot help us. We had stay in two separate rooms and in the 3 days stay we were just shuttling around between the two rooms as one adult and one kid had to stay in one room and other adult and kid in another room, also half of the luggage kept in one room and half of the luggage in another which made us run around in between the two rooms unnecessarily.
                    4/. We lost our tickets for the "wings of time" show of the sentosa island theme park (Maybe due to shutelling between the two rooms) and i informed ritika ji about it early morning (Around 9 a. M. Singapore time and 6.30 am india time) (Through whats up message) on the day we were about to visit the theme park and i also informed her that if they would mail to the booking department of sentosa theme park they would check in their records that those tickets are still un-used and would cancel those tickets and would re-issue us a new print outs of those tickets but as-usual i did not receive any reply or update on our problem and in the evening while leaving from the theme park i sent a very long whats up message to ritika ji and also to mr. Rahul on their careless attitude and pathetic customer service (Pics of the screenshots of those whats up messages are in the attachment of this mail)

                    5/. At the time of booking the universal studio theme park i had requested ritika ji that i wanted to book the express (Vip) tickets for the theme parks in singapore and malaysia as i had heard from my other friends (Who had gone to singapore) that now-a-days its too crowded in these theme parks and to save time and enjoy more with family book only the express tickets but whenever i asked ritika for the express tickets sometimes she told me that now-a-days there is not so much crowd so you don't need to go for express tickets and sometimes she told me that now-a-days everybody is booking for the express tickets so many times there is more crowd and longer ques in express tickets so i should go there and decide then and there itself (I don't know why she never booked my express passes from here itself when i repeatedly requested her to do so and was ready to pay for the express tickets in advance). She also told me if i would want to go for express tickets then it is very easy and all i'll need to do is to pay the extra amount to upgrade these normal passes to express passes but when i visited the theme park (Universal studio) with kids there were long ques in the normal lines (As i had expected) and when i went to the tickets counter i was told that the old (Normal) tickets cannot be upgraded to the express tickets and i'll have to buy fresh tickets (Again) which i had to, so the old normal tickets went waste. (Then i informed the same to ritika and rahul both through whats up messages) (Screenshots in the attachment) but as-usual no reply.
                    6/. At kuala lumpur we had booked a city tour (Including all the local sight seeing and after that dinner at an indian restaurant) which was scheduled as pick up from our hotel lobby at 6. P. M.in the evening but the taxi reached us at 9. P. M. And that too on my repeatedly calling the local tour managing person because of which we could not do the complete city tour and just visited the kl towers and had dinner at the indian restaurant (Which was also very sub-standard with what we had expected from cox & kings type of company's booking) because it was 12 p. M by then, i informed ritika about the same but again no response or any kind of compensation did we ever received from cox and kings team.

                    To sum it up i just want to say that in these kind of trips some issues and incidents do arise, now and then, but if one gets good service and response from the tour operator's staff things get sorted out and you enjoy a peaceful trip, thats the reason why one books such trips from good and reputed companies and pay so much extra money otherwise how difficult it is to book the airline tickets and hotel bookings directly online now-a-days.
                    I also repeatedly told ritika that i have an office in this same mall and i have very good friends and clients circle here so, if i get good service from your team i'll recommend cox and kings to all the good (South delhi prime) gentry that comes to my store (In mgf mall) and my gym (In select citywalk mall).

                    If i do not get some satisfactory response and compensation from your company for giving me such poor service and poor value of the money i paid and the mental harrasment that i had, i'll be forced to forward this mail to all the major tours and travels websites and information portals and consumer complaints redressal forums.

                    Still i havent got any response from the Coxs and Kings team. After mailing them and calling them endlessly from over a month. I would request Indian Consumer Complaints forum team to initiate some strong action against these kind of fraudulent people.

                    How come this complaint of mine is marked as resolved? When nothing has happened about it at all. Nobody has ever contacted me from coxs and kings team and not settlement has been agreed upon on any issue between me and this company. How did this complaint forum marked this matter as resolved without even contacting or asking from the complainant? Is this complaint forum a fake platform or what? Pathetic!

                      I was scheduled to travel in june but i was told that the money has not been received. I accordingly forwarded the transaction reference number. I was again told that the money against this reference has not been received. I also forwarded the bank statement which was once again not accepted. Now i have a got a confirmation from the bank that the money has been transferred to cox and kings. I forwarded the same but i was told to sign booking form with travel itinerary for june and that there may be a postponement fee now levied as i cannot travel now in june.

                      I have already suffered enough harassment from running pillar to post for proving that the transaction has already been made. Now to pay extra for the travel will be a further burden on me.

                        We booked a 13 days / 12 nights confirmed departure for 6 june 2018 tour with cox & kings india - delhi cp branch

                        After complete payment and all formalities.
                        They have changed the tour to a different itinerary and places

                        After asking 100 times about hotels they assured same hotels will be provided but none was same or even similar in rating
                        There was no mention of place milan in initial itinerary or reverse itinerary but they booked our flights from there and made us travel 6 hours to board the flight...

                          I have been continuously following up with the cox and kings team for my refund of the booking amount of 1.5 lacs since last month, both telephonically, on whatsapp and mails.
                          I haven't received any reply from their side. Firstly they have accepted my payment to book 1st july tour (Without any confirmation) on 16th of may. Nobody follows up for visa till a fortnight. Finally on 31st may i get to know that these guys are overbooked and releasing a new travel date of 7th july with a new itinerary. After a lot of mental harassment from their side, i get to know that the pricing has been shot up by almost 50000 rs. Which is not at all acceptable. Then they demand time for some more working and kill another 5 days saying that the tour was ex mumbai. Another shocking news for me, because i, as an enthusiastic traveller was expecting that the working was being done to match the original rates quoted to me for which i had paid booking amount. But one more shock was ready from their side. Once more a new itinerary was produced with the same travel date of 7th though, but again soared up rates.
                          Actually these guys had done so much of hard work that they forgot that i am left with no time to apply for two visas and book a new package through some other travel agency. They did not match up with their own previous quote (Strange cox and kings policy) and wasted 20 days of my vacations leaving me to mental harassment only. I have requested a no. Of times for my refund almost everyday since may end but without results.
                          I believed that a company like theirs was there to serve us.
                          But this is really shocking and annoying that they could neither give me a holiday trip in europe nor refund my booking money though it has already been a month.

                            I recently tried cox & kings in goa for a tour pack to egypt. (I'm an nri, so my travel companion in goa coordinated with them) at the start, the branch staff's response was good & they verbally provided most of the info we needed. However, when he asked them to send it via email — for the record — the 'good' abruptly ended. No email ever came, and when my friend called them they claimed it had been sent already & that they'd ask their it department to check why it wasn't going. I too sent them an email asking that they send the info to my email address to rule out the destination address as a point-of-failure. No response came...

                            As i was explaining to my friend, this might very well have been a case of the staff seeing us as a 'low potential' business opportunity, hence the very poor support. (Either that or the staff of the it department has been underpaid or was then on strike)

                            The quality of customer support has a significant impact on business in the long run — so i hope cox & kings improves theirs.

I'd provided the email addresses, dates & the place of the correspondence, along with with the email transcript, and information about what had happened.

                            No number was provided, but that can be obtained from the customer database ---- if one is being maintained --- and if more info is needed the same person on [protected]@coxandkings.com can revert to me, either by email or using the mobile number in my email signature.

                                I have booked supersaver laddakh package for 7n8d with flights, meals, stay, sightseeing ex and to delhi for 13th june2018 departure and back on 20th june2018. They have taken advance 3000/-rs perhead (For 6 people), total 18000/- rs and given me confirmation mail. As days passes they started to pressurise me to increase cost they have given or change dates giving me some different reason all the time. Finally now they said either take back booking amount or take package from mumbai, obviously pay extra fare for 6 people from delhi to mumbai. Plese help me as i have promised my family to go leh laddakh this vocation. I can not change my dates also, there is a marriage in family.

                                  We travelled through cox and kings to thailand, malaysia and singapore under the package named all of far east from 14th may to 23rd may 2018 which we booked online from website. It was a horrible trip and management by cox and kings' managers were pathetic. Not only during the tour but while booking also we faced cheating from their side. Earlier, we were informed that surcharge will be excluded which made our package of rs.90875 per person. But later forcefully, rs.6112 was charged extra on each ticket which amounted rs.18336 for three tickets as surcharge which was earlier excluded. Failing to pay would have resulted cancellation of our tickets. Also, after this they charged extra amount of rs.2870 just a day before our departure, i. E., 12th may as hike in dollar prices. It was like forcing us to pay the amount, failure of which would have resulted in not getting our visa. They must refund extra amount of rs.21206.

                                    We booked european glimpse tour 9n/10d from 18/5/18 to 28/5/18 from sector 18 noida branch. The worst ever tour we had in life and advise general public never to traver with cox & kings in life.

                                    When we reached paris at 11.00 pm on 18/5/18, tour operator mr. Girish dayma was not there. After travelling 14 hours, entire group had to manage rooms at their end. We were not aware of the next morning schedule. Tour operator mr. Girish dayma didnot follow the itinerary of cox & king and said that it is not possible to cover the areas as per itinerary. Mr. Girish was not aware of the timings of cox & king hills and drop us there at 2.30 pm. Entire 51 tourtists had to wait in the bus for 4 hours without ac. All were so angry that finally they decided not to visit cox & king hill.
                                    Mr. Girish didnot pay dues to the bus driver, resulting at one point, the driver ran away with the bus. Passengers hand bag remained in the bus and girish arranged other bus after waiting for 2 hours. I am a heart patient and couldnot take my medicine as my handbag was in that bus. Had there been any health issue, did cox & king responsible?

                                    Even on the last day to catch our flight back to india, the driver said that he will not start the bus until all his dues will be cleared. Mr. Girish, in front of all passengers promised him to clear his dues once we reach milan airport. The driver agreed. On reaching milan airport, mr. Girish (Tour operator) immediately ran away and hide himself inside the airport.

                                    One co-passenger complained to mr. Harman dsouza (Head) of your mumbai office and he assured him to resolve the issues, but didnot. Later mr. Harman didnot reply to several e-mails and at least 35-40 telephonic calls of that co-passenger. It shows that even higher authorities of cox & king donot care for the tourists.

                                    Mr. Girish didnot show us many sport as per itinerary, but forcebly took to perfume factory in paris where no body was interested to go. We understand from one staff of perfume factory that they give certain commission to the tour operator.
                                    The hotel booked was about 150-200 km away from city and daily we had to waste at least 4 hours to and fro.

                                    Several lacks rupees (Hard earned money) of passengers got wasted as they couldnot enjoy the tour. We are now left with no option but to bring the matter in the press so that in future, other passengers may not be cheated and book their tour through some good tour agencies and can enjoy their holidays.

                                    Under these circumstances, we are also planning to take up the matter legally /consumer form for the financial, physical and mental harrassment that we had sufferred at the cost, risk and responsibility of cox & king.

                                      They have changed the tour to a different itinerary and date.

                                      Despite several levels of discussions and only going ahead with a plan which was 'confirmed departure' at a 'confirmed date' did we ask them to proceed, and despite all that - they have still changed the entire package to whatever it suits them.

                                      This is unacceptable and a completely unprofessional practice. Travel agent association of india should look into this.

                                        There was no proper management in the tour and that’s why we missed lots of things because of them and even paid extra fine because they didn’t make aware of this things. I would not recommend any person to go through cox and king and look at the condition of hotel they offered us in the video but i am unable to upload because of format #worsttripeverhad
