Me, my family along with our colonyments (24 members) booked the group tour to leh and laddakh around 2 months back from aurangabad (Ms). Our tour is going to start from 30th may 04:00 hrs from mumbai.
I received my group flight ticket (Bom-ixl) today at approx 4 pm on my whatsapp messanger.
Upon checking my ticket i found the spelling mistake in the name of my wife. It should be aasawari adgaonkar where as the ticket shows asawari adgaonkar.
I already submitted photo id (Aadhar card) for the same much before.
I noticed the same to your aurangabad office and they assured me that it will get changed. But, after that no one from you took any action till now.
I am at mumbai for my personal work and may not get the time for tomorrow to take a printout of corrected ticket.

Colud you please do the needful to correct the name spelling and informbme asap.

Please inform me once get done.

    Sir / madam,

    Myself (Ramesh. V) and my wife (Mrs. Brindha ramesh) had an excellent time in the chardham yatra conducted by you from delhi starting from[protected] till[protected].

    We had booked for helicopter travel to and fro for kedarnath trip. We could avail only the onward trip on[protected] and the return trip on[protected] was cancelled due to heavy snow fall. Our team manager mr. Sombir had collected all the boarding pass and submitted the same to the base camp en-route to badrinath and had got refund note for all (To 8 of our team members). He said that the refund will be given to us from the place where we had booked for the tour.

    It is almost 2 weeks since we completed the tour. We are yet to hear from you about the refund. Please settle our return fare at the earliest.

    We booked a personal tour with guides for six week around India and Nepal from January to February 2018 with Cox and Kings Indian branch and regret having spent all that money with such a badly organised company. Their staff our so uneducated in the travel industry. To start with, we were not advised that the Toy Train to Shimla (Himalayan Queen) - ( My wife 2 years earlier had travelled to Shimla on the Toy Train which had comfortable seats facing in the direction of travel), our seats could only accommodate 2 children under 15 yrs and not 2 adults. To travel facing backwards for 6 hours on journey, on seats not fit for 2 adults in a carriage which was dirty, was terrible and tiring experience. The toilet was dirty and filthy and we had only one toilet stop 3 hours after we had boarded the train. Cox and Kings did not advise us on the condition of travel on this train, nor did they organise any food or drink for our journey.
    Our next and worst disaster was our tour on Palace on Wheels train. Again my wife had used this service 2 yrs ago and said the train journey was great. Not so this time. Cox and Kings should have advised us that the original Palace on Wheels train was scrapped last year, due to its age and was replaced with a train so old and dilapidated. The next day after boarding the train we were kept away from it, for the whole day because they had to service the carriages and train. The train was so run down and dirty. Complaint to Cox and King management on our return back to Delhi and received no answer. We also complaint to Palace on Wheels management on the train but go no explanation from them, as to why the train was taken out of service. Requested a full refund from Cox and Kings due to misrepresentation last March and the reply back is that they are looking into the matter.
    We are both pensioners I am 81 and my wife 72 yrs. We expected guides who can relate to us what we got were youngest out of school who had no idea on how to communicate with elderly people. Cox and King were aware of our ages during our booking.
    We were not advised by Cox and King staff prior to our trip to Kathmandu, that we needed visas. We spent one and half hour in a queue at the airport to buy a visa, which cost us $25 (American dollars) each. The country was in such a bad way, due to the earthquake, the roads had so many potholes the cars had to navigate through them making each journey hazards and time consuming.
    In Cochin our transfer from airport to houseboat was an utter disaster, our driver took us to the wrong port to board our boat, hence wasting 2 hours. He did not speak english which made matters worse.
    We had to cancel so many excursions due to tour guides being so young. No refunds from Cox and Kings.
    I would recommend not booking any travel tours with Cox and Kings, because you do not get any refunds, management do not reply back to your emails or complaints. We are due a refund on our disaster at Mumbai airport by Air India airlines, which Cox and Kings confirmed in the first week of March, we still await this refund.

      I have booked the chardham yatra package for my parents & in laws and was confirmed by your sales representative for departure date of 25th may with helicopter tickets to kedar nath.

      After taking all the money, they have denied helicopter tickets and have asked us to manage our self there saying that your tour operator will assist.

      We have had booked cox & kings basis our past experience with you and for hassel free journey & for old elderly couples.

      The embarrassment that i am facing at my home is enormous and no solution is being offered.

      Please can you look into this urgently as the departure date is tomorrow and ensure they have helicopter tickets since they reach kedarnath on 31st.

        I have transferred Rs 20, 000 on an offer day, a local programme arranged by Cox and Kings at my city but i have not confirmed any booking to their office, nor any date or place. Till then i was thinking of leh but just after booking i felt breathing problems and request for refund with medical documents.

        From that day company is not refunding my money, they called me many times and say that it will be processed in 2 or 3 days, once they said to deduct Rs3000/- for no cause. i am now mentally harassed by putting reminders on emails. i am ready to lodge a complaint to Tourism of Ministry now for their delayed and poor services.

          I am writing this email to you in the hope that maybe you will look into our concern and provide justice to a first time customer visiting cox and kings website to plan a family holiday abroad with total trust and faith that we will be guided in the whole process and would have an amazing holiday planned by the renowned 'Cox and Kings".

          Me and my brother reached out to online portal to book a Switzerland customized package.
          it was around 15th of April that we contacted and Kaustubh Sansare from Mumbai, was assigned as our trip advisor. He came up with an itinerary as per directions from us . We paid a booking amount of 80k/- on 24th and 26th of April, 2018. The trip was planned for 5 days and 4 night in last week of May, i.e 21st May to 25th May, 2018.

          After the amount had been paid, there was no contact with Kaustubh . I tried to follow up via emails and phone but was not updated much on the flights whether they were booked or not . He wouldn't reply my emails, neither would answer on his extension . When tried calling from front office, we were said that either he will call us back in the evening with the confirmed flight tickets or that he is on leave.

          We waited and waited, i kept emailing and calling almost on daily basis but in vain.

          Then finally i get in touch with another lady, for a quality check call and they process it only on 4th or 5th May, 2018 . But she informs us that the visas would not be processed and she suggested us to change the dates .

          On 6th May, 2018, we asked Kaustubh to shift the dates to 4th June to 8th June, 2018. He agreed and planned the itinerary accordingly .

          But again after that he didn't contact us for any further proceedings .

          I waited till 10th of May, 2018 and finally write to your customer care regarding the matter as i was concerned about Visa processing which was the case we changed our dates.

          We get an email to be patient and that they will look into the matter.

          But all we got was an email from another visa processing guy on 11th May, 2018, evening to submit the documents latest by next morning . The next morning being a Saturday, with bank holiday .

          I don't know with what frame of mind he asked us to submit the documents by next morning. I visited your branch and they suggested to change the dates again as it was not feasible to process the visa in such short time as we had to travel on 4th June, 2018.

          I got back to Kaustubh and the other guy Tejpratap to change the dates but they were pushing that visa will be processed contrary to everyone's else suggestion.

          We asked him to get the visa dates from Delhi but then he comes back to us and demands for an extra charge as the visa dates were not available and he will arrange walk-ins.
          Now we didn't agree for paying the extra amount as we were not at fault for the delay in the assigning of the file .

          and again to change the travel dates, they asked extra charge for flight re-booking .

          Now in the whole scenario we demanded an explanation, that why would we as a customer play extra amount, when it was delay on their part to process the case.

          But they never agreed and kept on demanding for more charges. In the mean time i wrote to the customer care and Kaustubh's manager again for explanation but no response.

          So now loosing all hope and trust we asked them to cancel the trip and refund our amount, they have charged us a hefty amount .

          We were new to this whole process and instead of being guided properly and have an amazing vacation we get such disappointment. Such high brand and such incompetent professionals. We trusted these guys fully and didn't know we will be fooled and end up draining money out our pockets. We belong to a middle class and the amount really matters to us . And more than money, it is the matter of trust and services they provide.

          Some of them have shared same bad experiences too. they all are highly disappointed too.

            I have booked, kashmir land only package with cox and kings more than 2 months back. I was given a quote at the time of booking and no one called me after i made initial payment.

            After i made multiple calls, they asked to pay the remaining amount. But they have increased the amount from initial agreement. I was following up with the same for more than 10 days no response from the team. All team leads, team coaches are in email and none responded for it.

            Please return back my initial advance if you are not worth to talk and take it forward.

            Had booked tour from Cox and kings in March, they cancelled the tour with out any feedback, not informing further dates nor refunding money, inspite of several mails and pH calls to them and customer service not responding, requested them to refund paid amount with interest

              Sir, my self and wife attended the 'tour american bonanza' from[protected] to[protected] in usa conducted by cox and kings. During the tour my wife fallen
              Sick. Since we are not provided with insurance documents we were not possible to go to hospital or a clinic. When contacted the office back in coimbatore they said some lame excuses, saying that it is in pdf format so unable to send it. We suffered a lot because of this. After completing the tour we are back in back in india. But till today we did not get the tour invoice copy
              Even though i visited their office and made so many calls. So request your help to get the copies of tour invoice and insurance certificate.

              Why Cox & Kings is keeping silent. I think they are hiding some thing.
              We have completed two months after the tour. still I did not hear any thing from Cox & Kings. From this what I presume is that Cox & Kings did not take any Travel Insurance for my self and my wife. I asked for Insurance certificate because my Wife was severely ill and I wanted to go to the hospital. But we could not go to hospital for want of the insurance details.We suffered a lot and finally with the help of a Doctor friend in our team my wife
              got some medicine and got relieved after few days. Here on wards I never recommend any one with Cox & kings as they are not trust worthy.

                I have booked 7n/8d ladakh delight package for 5 persons dated 22nd may (Booking id: 932997). All the money i. E. Rs 240, 300 has been paid long back i. E. Around 1st may.

                However despite several email reminders and telephonic conversations, the air tickets and hotel vouchers have not been provided. Initially i was told that i would receive the tickets a week in advance, then 4-5 days in advance, then 3 days in advance and finally yesterday, with 3 days to go for the tour, i was assured by ms jasmine nadar, asst mgr of marol branch that i would surely receive all the tickets and vouchers by end of day yesterday. But still they have not been delivered. So not sure if i will be able to travel now without air tickets and/or hotel vouchers. Request to look into this at the earliest and issue either the air tickets and vouchers or the full refund of rs 240, 300 if the booking has not been done in the first place. This is my first (And surely last) experience with cox and kings. This explains why they are the oldest in the business, but still not #1. If i don't see any action on this today, i would be forced to share the snippets of emails and recorded telephonic conversations with c&k booking team (Akshata kawle and jasmine nadar) on social media, since that seems to be the way to report the terrible service despite paying amount in lacs.                   Warm Greetings from Bang Family

                  I am writing this email to show case the unethical and unprofessional behavior you have done since my attachment to your brand.

                  Lets Start From Beginning

                  1) On 9th April we have transferred first payment to confirm our Europe tour with you. Date of Departure Finalized: 12th May 2018. A clear instruction were made to Mr Rakesh before choosing the tour that We can travel between 10th May to 25th May only due to our personal commitments. As per his assurance about the confirm departure of this tour on 12th May, We started the booking Process

                  2) On 13th April, as per the payment call raised by Mr Rakesh, we have release a payment of INR 2, 07, 000 immediately.

                  3) We make sure to follow every guideline offered by your team and completed the requirements as per Cox and King Instructions.

                  4) On 24th May, we have visited your office in Pune for filling Visa forms and for Cross Checking of documents by your team. You Pune team is extremely poor in Service and They took almost three hours to complete our Visa Form. Our First Visa Appointment was at 1:45 PM and we reached Visa office at 03:15 PM. I doubt if it was your plan to misguide us so that our visa can be rejected an we were not knowing something big was cooking on your end. Nevertheless After requesting Visa Embassy a lot we were able to complete our Visa process. On the top of it; we have paid an amount of INR 35000 to Visa embassy where as You Pune Team has given us INR 31500 only. The game of Hidden Charges could be here probably.

                  5) Kudos to our efforts, we have received the Visa on 29th April, irrespective of your poor service and support.

                  Now Comes the Climax

                  6) Post my visa, i expected a phone call from your end for depositing the Final payment

                  7) It was really surprising for me that, none from your team has approached me for the same.

                  8) It was totally unexpected for me, Obviously i have not won some jackpot so that one day cox and king should have announced that You are travelling Europe as our lucky customer. Ohh Your logo raise my concern-- 250 Year of History, I mean what you have done in such a long period of time if you could not arrange a tour properly. God Bless You Company

                  9) Lets Continue, as i was not aware about anything, so i have started taking follow ups with your team about the tour progress.

                  10) I have informed Mr Vaibhav, your travel co-coordinator from Kolhapur a number of time to Remind Mr Rakesh to get in touch with me.

                  11) After 4 days of continuous followups, I am thankful that the great gentleman Mr Rakesh called me (is it now like BHAGWAAN NE MERE SUN LI TYPE DRAMA) with a good news.

                  12) Sir, Travel date may be shifted from 12th May to 19th May. Wow !! How Early, If you are reading it clap for yourself once for the best of what you are doing. The good thing is no one from your team is responsible to give me in written about the change in travel date. For apologizing to me for disturbing our holiday schedule

                  13) Anyways i have started making my mind for 19th May departure with information about the financial losses i have to suffer.

                  14) Before writing this line, i am giving standing ovation to Cox and King Team that you all disappeared after this 4th May call

                  15) I again started taking follow-ups for this melodrama. and No one from your end responded again. Not even a single email i have received from your end for change in travel date, this so called sudden change in plan.

                  16) I was so puzzled with your team that on 8th May; i have written a strict email about your travel management

                  17) Post this email i have received a phone call from Ms Charulata Vanire in conference with Mr Ranjan Murthy. I am telling you Cox and King, these two people are awesome in your team. Even after my continuous request about writing me a text email about the happenings. They have not written me email in acceptance of mistake. they wrote a diplomatic email and gave me a political promise of getting back to me by 10th May Afternoon.

                  18) In response to that i have written a clear cut email on 9th May morning at around 11:00 AM about what i have understood from that last day conference call

                  19) I have received a written reply on 10th May and I have been promised that my compensation will be considered, i have attached a snap shot of that in this email also.

                  20) I have written a reply for the same on 10th May (Same Day) on the same email thread and provided a positive nod for my travel. I assure to transfer the complete payment in Next 48 hours post answering the three concerns raised. I was positive and looking ahead to travel with cox and king

                  21) It was a AWW moment for me, Again you all disappeared post this email written to you on 10th May. I mean are we all playing HIDE AND SEEK. Come on Be professional.

                  22) I have tried calling Ms Charulata But her phone was out of coverage, i called Mr Vaibhav for reminder. I dropped Reminder Email Also. But from 10th to 14th May no one from your team has replied to me.

                  23) On 14th May late evening, I raised my hand and sent an email that now I can not travel and I mean How can i travel. Come on People there is no information. (You people must have find a good place to Hide and i could not locate you). Give Up Samjhte ho; Bhai Mujhse pucho, Mera ho gaya tha.

                  24) You want to listen what happened post it. You executive Ms Charulata Emailed me and Said THAPPA. Sir aap to HIDE and SEEK me haar gaye. Now as you said you do not want to travel so we will cut your Visa Fees and GST amount

                  25) I am telling you this frankly; aapne to Hamara LOL Kar diya. Right ???

                  26) On 16th May, You are asking me for 19th May tour, Sir Chaloge Kya. Sabji Lene Chalna Hai ??

                  Now Lets come to conclusion

                  I am giving you last 48 Hours to refund my Compensation (You Calculate my compensation at your end, What amount you should give back to me based on following factors)

                  1) Amount I have Deposited to You

                  2) My Visa Fee, GST Etc

                  3) My Cost for Travel to Pune for your Visa Drama

                  4) Cost of Arrangement

                  5) Business Loss

                  6) Mental Loss

                  7) For Disturbing my Holiday Schedule

                  8) Time I have wasted writing you and taking follow ups with you

                  9) When customer do not travel with you after booking the tour, you charges them a huge penalty. What now, when you are not letting us to travel. You are equally responsible for a Penalty and Big Penalty.

                    Hi I have travelled with cox and Kings on 24th December 2017 with booking I'd 896650. While booking I was promised that I will get a cash back of RS 6800 after one week of completing my trip.
                    Now its been around 5 months and I have contacted the customer care a million times and never got a proper reply. The customer care is acting very irresponsibly in support. In around 10 times I called the customer care executives gave lame reasons to connect my call to the person who promised me the cash back and they neither provided call back nor helped me forward. I am deeply irritated with this

                        We booked in this cox and kings spur tank road american spendolurs package. Never take any holiday here in cox and kings. We booked here before 6 months and they guaranteed us 4 or 5 star hotel and they took money from us. But every hotel they gave us only 3 star and they didn’t tel us the hotel places many countries. If we ask them they won’t answer at al. They r so arrogant to the core. They r big fraud and cheat. Any one can call and ask us. I can tel al their frauds they have done. Tis american splendours is not worth even 2lakhs but they plucked nearly 4.7 per person. Tis complain is written by me bcoz no one shd go and get caught us and get harassed. Their r very good travels in chennai. Please don’t go to cox and kings. I wil keep updating on tis. Any one can contact us regarding tis.

They plucked nearly 1lakh from us for no reason. Before starting the tour itself i have so many problems and issues. They don’t no what is respect. Once u pay money we are finish. All false promises. Full of lies. They haven’t given me any details regarding the tour. They r having me blank. Very cheap cruise they have booked. Never select this travels. Full of show outside. They will harass and treat us like slaves by taking a signature from us. Never go to this place

                                Dear sir/madam,

                                We as a group of travellers from the super saver bhutan tour starting from 2nd may wanted to lodge a complaint regarding the unsatisfactory and pathetic services provided by cox and kings since the starting of the tour. Entire group was trying to adjust and manage however, the conditions are getting worse from today.
                                Today after we entered today's hotel (Zangto pelri hotel, punakha) the conditions in the hotel are so pathetic and unsatisfactory.in all the rooms the services provided are so bad and below average. The list of problems are as follows.
                                - no jet spray
                                - no wifi services
                                - no telephone extension in room
                                - no taps
                                - no buckets
                                - no mugs (For indian way o[censored]sing wc)
                                - charging plugs not working
                                - problem with locking the rooms.
                                - no tissue papers provided

                                Kindly look into the matter and ensure that the hotel in the later cities are in good conditions.

                                  Please refer to the captioned subject.
                                  I had booked a tour of chardham for my parents from your renowned organization expecting high standard of services from the date of booking. However, i am pained to note that the service at the start of the tour is beginning to show that i had made a mistake booking through cox & kings.
                                  The tour has started today from new delhi and surprisingly it has come to my notice that the condition of the bus is pathetic. The ac of the bus is leaking which is causing immense inconvenience to passengers. Further-more the seats of the bus are not at all comfortable and torn. Overall the bus in in a poor state of conditions.
                                  I was assured of good services for the old parents on this religious tour but since the payment of 50% advance i understood the choice made by me wrong. The booking office mr bharat chabdal and liasoning officer ms. Pallavi kinge failed to provide any assistance since the beginning for documentations and my old parents had to travel all the way to your new delhi office for the same.
                                  After the complaints received from my parents regarding the condition of the bus i contacted the number provided on the vouchers and spoke to ms snehal tandel at [protected] who was unable to provide any immediate solution and needed some time. I then spoke to the tour manager mr ashish gehlot ([protected]) who was present with the tour in the bus. He confirmed regarding the problem with the bus as mentioned above but was helpless in providing a solution. It is even surprising to note that when i asked ms snehal to provide a contact number of the senior since i wanted to escalate the matter for an early resolution, t my surprise she said that she the senior most person to address the issue and was hesitant to provide any names or numbers. When i enquired regarding her designation it was informed that she was the assistant manager. I had even called the office of cox & kings at mumbai and requested myself to be connected to senior person to explain the ordeal, there also no cooperation was received. It was very weird to note the replies from various people of the same organization and it is making me think whether the instruction to not provide the contact details of seniors has been given by the management? If it be the case i can be very assured of the poor standard being faced now.
                                  The passengers book through these renowned entities by paying a premium of cost only for excellent services, comfort and proper response. However, cox and kings is lacking in all the areas of expectation and is treating the passengers worse than the small local tour operators.
                                  I once again reiterate you to take necessary and immediate steps for a smoother, comfortable and proper travel of the passengers. Your timey action may somewhat improve the already tarnished image cox & kings in my opinion and would desist me from escalating the matter to the highest possible authority within your organization and beyond.

                                    I have booked with cox & kings - india a group tour, american glimpse - west coast - summer 2018 package [14 aug 2018] (Booking id : 934450) though their sales agent steena monie on the condition of let me know the flight deviation after the trip from san francisco to boston and mumbai.

                                    With rigorous attempt of calling and multiple mail follow-up, after one month, sales team reverted (E-mail trail is maintained) stating that the deviation will be able to know only 30 days prior to departure. As a customer, i can not take that huge risk of international price escalation as it is an international flight. Therefore, i instructed them in a mail to refund the money back paid for two persons (2 x 3000) rs. 6, 000.

                                    If the same thing would have told at the time of booking, i would not have paid the amount and booked the tour. The information was deliberately hidden from me just to book the tour. Since they are unable to meet the conditionality and hiding the information, i requested them to refund the booking amount of rs. 6, 000 back.

                                    Would request them to stop such unethical practice and refund the amount back to the customer.

                                      We booked a group tour and it was communicated that we'll be provided with a representative to help us and provide updates of whatever is happening. Being it's our first international tour we thought everything will be communicated properly but instead it's us who are running after them for everything still not getting any proper reply. The flights shown while taking visa were emirates but now 3 days before departure they changed it without informing and then not accepting their mistake. When we talked to them every person is giving different reasons for this change. Our journey has not began and facing so many issues. Scared what will happen when we reach in completely new country. Very bad experience in starting itself.

                                        Dear team, we travelled with cox and kings on 13th dec to italy and when we reached there, we realised that they have not booked a tour for us and hence they asked us to pay and cox and kings will refund when they are back to india.

                                        We have been following since then, even placed on twitter and facebook but there is no resolution from their end.

                                        We demand our 52 euros at the rate of 85 inr which they charged at the time of booking and also additional compensation for mentally harassing us and wasting so much time and effort. Their fit specialist kunal kotak was so rude this while that he even said that money will be transferred to our account not to his account that we are following up.

                                        We need immediate action on this.
