[Resolved]  HSBC Bank (Now JM Financial) — False credit card charges

HSBC Credit card Bill coming for the card which was not received Sep 2009.


I was holding the HSBC credit card in the year 2009 in Ahmadabad. I had purchased/shopping for some rupees of rupees but never paid penalty or interest. I was very sincere and regular in payments.

In 2009 i received the bill for Rs.4445.73/- for unknown purchase. I raised the issue and bank asked me to write one representation and i did the same thing. I asked for the waiver but bank said it will waive after two months but they did nothing and ultimately i received another statement including interest charges.

I raised my point many times with the bank authority but they didn't respond and stop the statement. HSBC bank taken over by JM Financial. JM Financial also did not send any statement but recently i received call from JM Financial asking for the remaining amount which is 33000 INR.

Recently I applied for my CIBIL report by paying 450/-. In CIBIL one HSBC card showing outstanding of Rs.33000/- and surprised to see that in just five years they increase money from 4445.73 to 33,000 INR. This is not my fault and i have to suffer for that which was not done by me.

HSBC Credit Card — False Credit Card Bill

HSBC Bank is pioneer in sending false bills...
HSBC Credit Card sales executes... forcefully convince us that the card is a free life time card, as the company i am working for has an Corporate tie up...
So land up taking a Credit Card in Oct04...till now i have never made any transaction using this card... neither i recieved any statements so far...
All of a sudden after 5yrs i recieved a statment which states that i have an outstanding amount of Rs 10, 000/-...
Also the credit card has been expired on Oct 06... still they are billing me..

Above that the Call Center executives and Bank People are not helping me to find out the complete break up of the the outstanding amount...
This is a big Pain...

I think HSBC Bank need to learn to do a fair business to keep their good name...

I have not Used the HSBC credit card No.[protected] for 2 years and the Card Was also Blocked automatically in August - 08, And Since then I have not received any Communication from Bank But today Suddenly I am Receiving the Credit card Statement showing 4195.67/- as outstanding, It is clearly mentioned this Card is life time free if it the financial charges how can you put charges on life time free card. kindly do not harass me unnecessary . Please rectify your account against this card.

I have credit card account with HSBC bank.

I am vikas gupta with HSBC credit card no.-xxxxxxxxxxxx9878.

I have purchased of Rs. 5500/= on May, 08 and got made EMI for 12 months and have been paid every EMI on time by me. Again in November 2008, I have purchased of Rs. 5450/- and made EMI for six months. even have been paid also every EMI on time after completed my all premium installments in may -09. I got statment of Rs. 3420/- and it was totaly surprised when I have seen that the statement totaly wrong. On that I had inform to customer care department regarding this. However the customer care department did not revert on this I am unable to pay the same. after that customer care are asking for total amount of Rs. 2500/- instead of Rs. 3420/- It includes annual charge. As you know all banks credit cards are life time free then there is no need to include such amount. kindly take into consideration this matter and advice for solution as i can't pay any more and shall take legal action.

I called at least 25 times to customer care dept and they did not give me any solution. Plz give me solution other i take some legal action to hsbc and check my statement properly and give me totally reveret

They carryforward the August 08 EMI Late Payment charges and they did not give me any infomation regarding this and in May 2009 they supplied me a statement of Rs 3420/ debt for me and after 25 times calling they revert and give me to pay 2500/ it is totally wrong for me I cannot pay anything.

plz give me totally revert. Plz give me reply as soon as possible before 6 of August 2009.


I write 3nd time for my wrong statement and i discuss your executive and i made min payment of 171/ last time in July.

I request to you plz check my whole statement from August 08 and revert my wrong payment of Rs 3000/. their executive told me that this is a life time free card. But bank has imposed annual charges on the account. I request several times to your bank reverse that charges or to close the account but nothing happen.

Nobody in the bank is listning to my complaint.

I made a call 30 to 40 times to your Custmer care Exec, but they did not give me any solution

Plz give me solution as soon as possible and revert all my wrong charges.

HSBC Bank/Credit Card — HSBC Sending False Bills

Hi,
My wife was holding a HSBC credit card almost a year back. we had stopped using their card and inform them after dropping their card (as per the norms) to their card after expiration. After almost a year they have sent the bill (at the time we dropped their car we had no otstanding) and forcing us to pay the bill and annual fee.. when we called them and informed that we are not using their card from last one year after it got expired they are insisting that they have sent card to us .. by the way they have never contacted us and not delivered any card.....

I ma really puzzled with all this

HSBC — Accumulation of bank charges

Dear Sirs,

This is in reference to the above mentioned card used by me. In which whatever swiped amount has been paid by me through cheque deposit. But the bank has charged me Rs500/- as Late payment fee in the very next statement. I called the Customer care and intimated the same and told them to reverse the amount as i have paid my dues before the due date and confirmed by them that they would reverse back the amount.

Inspite of reversing the amount , the bank has charged me for not paying the Rs.500/- which is been charged as the late payment fees , and i used to call the bankers several times and they told that they will help me and reverse the amount, but till now they have not done so. But the amount has been accumalated to Rs.6000/- and odd.

Because of this i have stopped swiping the card and the monthly statement comes with the accumalated amount of the late payment charges.

I don't know why these bankers are penalizing the customers. Especially good customers who are prompt in making payments.

Iam personaly very much frustrated on seeing the bank statement which is been receiving every month with the charges accumulated, inspite of the complaint made to the HSBC bankers through the customer care.

Kindly help me regarding this sir.
