EMI problem
Dear Sir,
we are getting every month statement and paying regular on time but still my account is showing due of Rs.3718.43 , which is wrong . So many times i called to Customer Care Deptt.regarding our EMI matter but they didn't short out. Matter is, I make a transaction of Rs.32640/- in month of July '2010 and give request for 6 EMI. When,first time i called to Customer Care Deptt.give a request for 12 months EMI but due to excess interest , again i called them and request for 6 EMI but they didn't update.Now, they calling every day more than 10-12 times for recovery of Rs.3718.43. HSBC — Deductions Not Notified or Aware of
I am a British Citizen of Indian Origin. I have Savings Bank accounts at HSBC, Gariahat Branch and in the UK. I went to the Gariahat Branch to deposit money. They had deducted a huge amount in INR (1% of the deposit + Rs 112) on the ground of recent RBI rules. I was not told of this even before depositing the amount nor made aware of it at any time before. I like to register a strong protest if it's a recent rule. I shall not send any money to India or HSBC in India if it is not discontinued forthright. I shall circulate this to NRIs & PIOs around the world unless this discriminatory rule is abolished outright.I am putting a copy of this note to the Banking Ombudsman, RBI and to FINMIN, New Delhi for immediate action or I must get into the act, through my solicitors.
