Dear Sir/Madam,

I was surprised to hear from the Banks that my name is listed in the Defaulter List of CIBIL.
In the CIBIL report, its showing about two wheeler loan which was taken in December 2006 and discontinued the repayment from December 2007.
But I never taken/applied any two wheelers in that period, more over I not even stayed in the address which is mentioned in the CIBIL report.

Because of this issue I am facing so many problems to get the loans from any financial institutions.

I am requesting you to give advice/resolve this issue.

Looking forward to a suitable action at the earliest form your end.

    I am very grateful of you, I feel very relax when I find your complaint against CIBIL.
    I am going same kind of problem, I apply for takeover loan from sbi which I borrowed from icici, now sbi asking me that you already borrow a car loan from icici and that is overdue, so till you dont make that payments to icici we [sbi] may not give you loan, on the second hand in my home loan i dont have a single rupee outstanding. What can i do in this case ? Please guide me .

      ICICI Bank — fake overdue

      I have purchased a car and got loan from ICICI bank for which I have cleared the payment on 30 January 2008 and receieved NOC from the bank on 5 February 2008.Now when I applied for an another car loan I was informed that name is present in CIBIL defaulter .Kindly remove my name and provide help in the matter.
      i have a credit card of barclays bank 2 or 3 month back a costumer care executive call me and said me that we r giving u a barclay priority service without any cost or hidden charger i confirmed 2- 3 times that is there any charges for this services THEN HE REPLIED THERE IS NO CHARGE OF THIS SERVICE IT'S FREE FOR U AND I ACCEPTED after a month i received my statement and i find out that barclays charge me 7000 something for this service quicly i call to barclay and said that please cancel this service as soon as posible coz ur executive tell me that this service is free of cost for me he replied that i registered ur request and in the next statement it will be rectified but when i receive my second statement the amount of service can not cancelled after that i call to bombay office and tell him about my problem after checking my recording he said i cant help you you have to pay but i denied and said i i[censored] play the recording in front of me and if i found that he tell me the amount of this service i pay it but he said i have no permission to do this then i said ok .but there is no progress of my comlaint and day by day barclays call me . please do someting i am very thankful to u

I came to know that my name appears on CIBIL and Satyam .com credit card defaulters list. I have know such information till know. Kindly let me know which bank has put my name there and what they want from me.

      I shall be highly thankful if my name should be deleted from that.

      Hello,

      I used to have HSBC credit card long ago which i settled after paying all the outstanding. I have applied for a home load and they have found this against my name which says "you had settled your amt or you had Not repay your previous Loan of Banks". Its really frustrating and insulting that even after paying all the outstanding my name appears in this list.

      Can you please help what shoud i do in this case?

          I would like to raise serious concern on a gross misrepresentation of facts in CIBIL's consumer credit information report. I am facing unnecessary hassles and trauma despite having a clean record of repaying all my loans and credit cards bills. One of CIBIL's members has provided wrong information, and CIBIL is floating it without verifying facts.

          CIBIL record shows a written off amount of Rs. 4746 (reported[protected] against my credit card. I have no idea, which card CIBIL report is referring to. In my knowledge, I have always made the due payment against all my credit bills. If some bank had levied some hidden charges or made a disputed case to hide its service inefficiency, it should be verified before CIBIL put such information in its report.

          I would request you to share with me the name of your member bank that has provided you the wrong and distorted information. It's a serious matter and CIBIL action is causing harm to my reputation. This report is being used by many banks, and they may use the misrepresented fact to decide against me in advancing loans.

          Please provide me the detail information so that I can initiate legal action against the bank which had provided the distorted information to CIBIL.

            I have a loan from HSBC, ICICI, Barclays, Kotak Mahindra, ICICI credit card and SBI credit card
            Overall approx 5 lakhs total amount remianing to be paid off .
            I had to take the above loans due to critical financial conditions pertaining in my family
            My salary is 21, 000 and i end up paying 33, 000 per month by borrowing with my friends to the bank and left with nothing even for the survival. I sometimes feel if i suicide or my death is the solution to all this but i am sacred if my family will be in a trouble by doing so( if any leagl action is taken against them ).

            I am planning to contact each bank to reshedule the loan and if they can give me an option to pay less emi and extend the duration of the loan and i am not sure if theu will accept my request
            I do not own any assest to sell off and pay the loans, i have somehow managed to pay all the emi till date without any due but i still end up paying end of the month which has caused me to be a defaulter with a very bad credit history .
            I am in a dilemma of whom to contact or should i go to the court to get this sorted or the bank to sort my issue.
            please help me get in touch with the right person to guide me.

            I had a vehicle loan from GE Countrywide, during the period i had some cheques bounces also and i had cleared all the dues in 2006 and i have received NOC also but till date my name is not removed from thecibil list. please check and do the needful to remove my name cibil list.             I have GE money Cash Card . Due to Signature mismatch The Cheque is Bounce and GE Mony put the Panalty on this . As per My request I don't want to Use card and ask them to Take their Priciple amount. But they are saying that they will charge Panalty.

            First of all...the Banks are to be BLAMED for extending High-Credit to you. You can also sue the banks, as to on what strength, they have extended High-credit to you and u can demand Restructuring o[censored]r loan.

            If at all, they do not restructure ur repayment, I'd suggest you to

            1. Make a List of all Loans.
            2. Calculate the Principal Outstanding as of today. For example, i[censored] have 2 loans with EMI 3500 and 3700 respectively and the total outstanding is 40000 and 60000, then u can take a Big loan from a Bank or Chit Fund company and pay off these small amounts. Suppose, u take a loan of Rs.1, 00, 000/-, ur EMI would be approx. 2, 700/-. With the loan amount, u can pay off above to outstanding loans. As a result, ur MONTHLY OUTFLOW WILL COME DOWN SUBSTANTIALLY.
            3. I[censored] have multiple credit cards, I advise u to go for Balance transfer at 0% interest. This will save interest for u.

            Please do not dont get into any suicidal thoughts...as you have xplained the ituation in online please explain the same to the Bankers i am shure they will understand ..u can re-schedule the loans but my advice Please settle the credit card Dues and then re-schedule the personel loans so that u can save some money from your salary...please dont worry everything wil be fine

              I would like to bring to your notice that CIBIL is awaiting final guidelines and the certificate of Registration as a credit information company from the Reserve Bank of India.

              As per the The Credit Information Companies (Regulation) Act, 2005

              CHAPTER II

              REGISTRATION OF CREDIT INFORMATION COMPANIES

              3. Prohibition to commence or carry on business of credit information.—Save as otherwise provided in this Act, no company shall commence or carry on the business of credit information without obtaining a certificate of registration from the Reserve Bank under this Act.

              What CIBIL is doing that is totally against the constitution of India and by this way
              they are directly insulting Baba Saheb Ambedkar .
              It is also direct insult to whole Dalit community of India .
              All Dalits of India shout against this anti-people organizations .

              As per Indian constitution and as per Banking law no bank can share informations of their customers to any third party.

              I earnestly appeal to Miss Mayaboti and other dalit leaders to take drastic action against
              CIBIL as insulting constititution of India CIBIL is directly insulting Babasaheb Ambedkar.

              Two years back i am having nearly 5 banks credit cards, in the year 2009, my spouse is having some meternity issue because of that my baby is premeture and styed in incubator for 48 days after 48 days my baby was died, the hosptial charge me nearly 6 lacs, i have swipe my all cards, because of this reason i have not properly pay my installments regularly,
              i have settled all my credit cards, but still my name is appearing in CIBIL and my credit rating is very poor

              recently i have applied for new job, the new organization is rejected me due to my poor rating, i have conifrm with the organization regarding this, they have conifrm that all private organization are verifying CIBIL rating before providing offer letter to the new employees.

                Its very pathetic to say some of your members in spite of listening to the customer and resolving the customers needs and issues are hiding their faults themselves behind you, by putting all blames to the customers.

                They are cowards because they are afraid of disclosing their name as if they are defaulters themselves.



                This thing decaying your esteem. I'm hereby trying to show you their some of the activities.



                1) A bank issued a card which have same date for issuance and expiry. This shows their negligence and lack of experience.Copy of card is attached as pdf file.



                a) They sent their 1st and all statement mentioning Immediate as due date(accept one, may for the month of Dec 07).copy of this stmt is attached as pdf file



                Normally if any customer doesn’t pays a min amount due as on due date then he gets a statement mentioning Immediate as due date.But no one can get his 1st Statement as Immediate because billing date and due date are compulsory and mandatory to be mentioned by any company who is sending monthly bills it may be a bank or electricity deptt or may be telecommunication companies.

                They had done this because they don’t have proper infrastructure, proper knowledge and experience. But full of greed because this is on of the source of income by ruining the customer to make over their losses because they among are sick Fin Companies and so they collapsed and have to merge with other bank.



                B) They don’t have any valid local no as Customer Care.as per the matter of their toll free helpline, I have Tata indicom at home and Air tel & Reliance at office this is same with STD Booths.They are connected with Air Tel Now days.Helpline can be called by BSNL & MTNL Is not available in the cities at M.P. and C.G. But no matter I had tried and beared the STD rates to talk with them .Their response was very much un professional.The shocking thing is that when they says that they don’t have any Floor/Team - Manager/Supervisor or any Mail ID.This is lie because by some body’s suggestion I got it by calling ICICI bank Cust Care.



                C) They don’t have separately any collection manager for here for this they have to depend on Icici bank’s Colln Manager .But u fortunately the vacant post have been occupied by very recently.It was vacant for along time but their collection strategies for cards are very neat and clean, they had a good customer care service too so I din’t suffer for it( Only once but the Customer Care waved it off and agreed as their fault with no hesitation in just 1 Ph call, nicely I have to appreciate them)

                D)I have all other cards wholes limits are of[protected] and I make avg payment[protected]. I had several times made the payment more than the total amount
                due. So I’m not a defaulter so kindly remove my name from your site .Other wise I will have knock to customer care.



                Case 2

                Near about every fin Company takes a cheques leaving the place of date blank some times the amount place blank too but always crossed in the favor of company’s account because some times the date of disbursement is un certain and some time the tenure is not decided so amount is also left blank but informs physically, by phone and officially by sending the welcome letter.

                I didn’t went to them their executive was sourcing at that shop he asked me and offered me O% fin ..after all formalities I gave the cheque with date. He requested me that he will inform me as well as the distributor.

                They taken 4 EMI’s advance .

                Normally the all other fin companies presents the cheques after 1month if the cycle do goes for less than 1 month than they starts the repayment from the other month means repayments starts 30-45 days . in my life I had gone through these formalities since 1998



                For more than 10 -12 times Even currently I do have few loans but I haven’t seen the carelessness like them.

                They didn’t in form the dealer as they asked me to contact the dealer regarding the same

                My mother near about daily asked the dealer for broken spare and repayment date but till 16th Jan the dealer said no info about the cheque the sales person was also absent.

                Even after 4-5 times visiting their office some body showed mercy on me a gave the print out of the welcome letter .then suddenly I saw that executive an encountered him he said in front of his S.M. that it was by the order of his S.M. his S.M. promised him to give me a call back, but he didn’t did it.

                Then I asked the company that I had deposited Rs. 6000 on the 6th of Jan i.e. one week before the repayment date according to my expectation as my disbursement was on 12th of Dec 07.Because all the finance I had was started within approx 35-45 days from the date of disbursement.

                Their collection manager said he don’t have time to meet next he said that its your luck that u have got the welcome letter free because we take Rs.100 for it .which is lie.

                Every company’s duty is to inform the customer in written and by phone too.

                There customer care says that we don’t have the policy to in form the customer .Than why the hale they started me informing from 4-6 installments.

                My fault is that I had fighted for my right I had asked them for a letter explaining for their mistake ., because due to the bounce done by them on My UTI A/c I failed to get a Pl of 2.5 lacs from UTI P L.

                I think for their this kind of behavior the Sbi Ge Credit cr and ge money’s consumer loan have been packed up.atleast from my city



                Till Date I’m Not getting finance just for these two comp for this two

                They are such bogusthat they even for a single time didn’t contacted me resolve the problem but by hiding their name like cowards reported to you. I think I must bring out time to go to consumer forum and electronic media and specially to CNBC awaz. If the fin companies are saint then Icici bank didn’t had to a family in 6 fig, don’t forget that.

                Don’t you have the dare to take the responsibility of these reports then

                why are you running such kind of sites.I’ll be happy if you have the dare

                as well you must have a separate unit to conduct survey of both the

                company and customer and know that the reports you ‘re receiving, Are how much true or quit taking such reports or at least take reports

                from the companies who have strong base, other wise some day it may

                happen that you’ll have to face the threats from Consumer forum and

                Human rites.Because you don’t have the rite to play with prestige of people.



                On one hand you say that you are not responsible for these statements

                on the other hand all the finance company believes and cancels the

                approval although his other condition are suitable other than your report

                on this wrong report some body ‘s career, marriage business even life can

                be ruined and your existence will also be in danger.You have touched so

                heights if you tumble from their it will be also a loss for other companies

                as well as for our country economy, because you also save all from the

                fraud people.But these doesn’t means you had the liberty to declare any

                person a defaulter without proper info . I want my name to be with drawn immediately within next 36 hrs.and arevert within next 18 hrs.I think I had

                given you enough details and evidence at least to rethink. If you need more I promise I ‘ll try my best, Do something to save those people who are really

                good but became a victim by fin companies while finding the defaulter

                customers. You should make people aware to get to be victim like other

                type of different national issues like AIDS and Family planning. Its also

                an serious matter to be talked about.

                So again I would say it’s very pathetic to say some of your

                members in spite to listen to the customer and resolving the

                customers needs and issues are hiding their faults themselves

                behind you, by putting all blames to the customers.

                  I was unable to get car loan sanction fro SBI because of credit card reports in CIBIL database which showed problems in the year 2003-04.As reported to me by SBI three sundry loans are overdue on my name.

                  I have enclosed to CBIL e-mails from customercare of HSBC.CITI, ICICI & ABN AMRO bank of which I used to hold credit cards.While the former three have denied any credit report sent to CIBIL against my name, ABN AMRO has requested to CIBIL for deletion of my name (refer enclosure).

                  I requested CIBIL to send my credit report which outlines what exactly is reported by bank in respect of my credit account and enable me to take action accordingly if there is any error in the reporting.

                  However CIBIL is still asking for control number which is a nine digit unique number that helps us to track the same report from their database.

                  To the best of my knowledge I did not hold any other credit card at that time & hence have no idea about the above referred number.

                  I am unable to get a personal loan sanctioned from HDFC and daustche Bank bacause of the CIBIL report. As conveyed to me the same is due to my two credit card accounts of HSBC bank. I have already made the payment of the entire outstanding amount, still I am communicated that the report has not been revised. I would therefore request CIBIL to send my credit report which outlines what exactly is reported by bank in respect of my credit accounts and enable me to take action accordingly to get rid of this problem even after making the payment.

                  I had taken a personal loan from HDFC but due to some personal reasons I and medical issues pertaining with my family I was unable to me some payments. I agree I could not pay them but I am trying by level best to do some arrangement and pay them as soon as possible. But two people by HDFC collections department by the name of Paras Chavan and his manager Siddarth Girkar are been calling me constantly on a daily basis and also the guy Paras Chavan also uses a lot of abusive language not only with me but also with my family members especially with my mother. I agree bank has the right to ask for their money back but there needs to be a procedure where you can be treated like humans. Last week HDFC collections department representative paras chavan sent his advisor at my house which is totally illegal, and he was standing out my house and asking for money and was creating a scene in front my family members. The address for this collections agency which calls me is at Abora Complex above McDonald’s on 6th floor borivali (w). I agree the bank can call at least once or twice a day, this guy paras chavan calls no where less than 10 times a day because of which my mothers health is also effected adversely. I would genuinely request you to take some stringent actions against him as today he called me again and threatened me saying that if am not paying him by tomorrow he will make this issue much messier and I will have to repent for it. This guy paras’s chavan has also used abusive language with my mother which I actually cannot write over here. I request to the banking codes to take necessary steps against the firm and the representative, as this act of his was also brought in notice this supervisor Siddarth Girkar where no necessary actions where taken and he continued his act of nuisance

                  I agree to you completely. Even i am affected by this report. I have cleared all my dues with all the credit card vendors inspite of that the report reflects poor credit. This has to be taken very seriously by the government and other financial institutions. This can affect the customer base of various banks.
                  have received information from the bank regarding defaulting in credit cards of icici Bank and my name is listed in the Defaulter List of CIBIL.

                  icici BANK have provided wrong information to the CIBIL. I have paid all the dues of icici Bank

                  But icici Bank has not send the data to CIBIL. MY credit card has declined because of the wrong information given by the bank to CIBIL.

                  I seek justice to get my names removed from the defaulter list with an immediate effect. I am ready to give all the proof and settlement letters issued by the concerned credit cards provider.

But i failed to understand that they are not able to give me any details about the same neither i don't know which loan default they are talking about.                   I am Ashutosh Dhyani want to draw your notice that somewhere one and half year back a case of credit card fraud of Barclays Bank was in existence in my name.
                  Some one else done it on my name with my id but card deliverd on other address and got missused by some one.
                  After getting call from Banks's side i came to know about this fraud and registered a complaint in their customer care.

                  Bank has done the investigation & Mr. puran singh was the investigation officer and at end Bank find no guilty of mine and Reversed all the charges related to card from my side what they have imposed on me.
                  I asked about it in banks customer care center and find that i don't have any dues about card any more. After this incidence i forget it and could not maintain any record of MAIL or your letter of NO DUES.

                  But after one and half year i went for purchasing a car with financing & got rejected & found that my name is in Defaulter list CIBIL.
                  Why????? could you plesae let me know that how can they do this?

                  I am really a responsible citizen and working also in reputed financial institution with a good cultured background family, it was very shocking to me that i am a defaulter as bank has listed me in that list.
                  I belive you will rectify your data and will remove my name from that site so that i can make any financial transaction freely.

                  After 2 months mailling communication, bank is agreed that i don't have any liability but still they are not agree to remove my name from CIBIL.
                  Kindly help me in this matter so that this aligation can be removed from me.

                  If You want any clearity from my side i am open for that being fair in this matter as you have previously done already. My details are as follows...Ashutosh Dhyani S/o Sh.                     few days before i got a call from abm amro and the guy who was calling told that they are putting my name in the defaulters list and they are fwding the case to cibil. the lady was not even speaking properly, she talked to me in wrong manner. abm amro has charged me with 7000 rupees. i have never done a single transaction with this credit card, when they offered the card they told that it's free of cost after that they charged me with this amount. now they are calling me every other day and saying they will do a settlement with rupees 3000, this is a harassment of mine.

                    credit cards — Reported False and Fake

                    As of my knowledge and concern, I Never been overdue and never made late payments to any one of the credit cards among ICICI Bank, Manhattan(Standard Chartered(2)), ABN AMRO, CITI BANK, HDFC Corporate Credit Card, HSBC.

                    Today, I shocked by seeing such a letter from CIBIL, India, stating that I am overdue to some credit cards not mentioning Names of the banks which is attached. Each and everything mentioned such as OverDue is FALSE and FAKE

                    What should I do in this matter? Each and Everything reported such as "Overdue" is NOT TRUE as of my knowledge and concern. What should I do, to take corrective action.Please suggest.
