I purchased 1.5hp self primer crompton greaves pump dealer new rama krishna sanitary emporium situated at ganesh nagar, near janakpuri, new delhi (Recipt enclosed) vide invoice no.014 dated 03/08/2017. I called the plumber and other labour to install the same on next day i. E 04/08/2017. They all tried for hours but the motor just didn't even start. Then we contacted the dealer about the defect in the motor. He outrightly rejected of taking any responsibility and instructed us to take-up the matter with service centre. So, we had to carry the pump from residence to service centre where after inspection he found major fault and declared the pump as defective and put the replacement tag on it and instructed us to get it replaced from the dealer.
We packed the pump and reached from all the way from gurgaon to janakpuri on 5th, but to our surprise he refuse to replace the pump and informed that this issue will be discussed with the company and only company will replace and this process will take two more days.. But even after five days in spite of repeated requests and reminders telephonically dealer was in no mood to entertain us. Then in this regard, we discussed the matter with regional manage who advised us to get it repaired, as the product is out of stock and advised us to repair the same. As we were in dire need of motor due to water crisis, so we accepted his request for repair. Ultimately we got the got motor back on 13th, and that too unpacked. Again when we installed it, then again it didn’t work and gave the same old problem. Then as per plumber, electrician and my own observation, we realised the motor was returned to us without any repair work done on it. Then again we contacted rm, who didn’t respond and then we contacted the area manager, gurgaon and delhi mgr and dealer and requested them to replace the motor today itself of same make or of some higher model and take difference amount from us, but they rejected our request saying that this is against co’s policy. Everyone was just directing us from one person to other, but no one assured us of replacement and how much time they would take in doing that and thereby kept us in abeyance. But now after so much of follow-up, and having undergone so much of suffering i. E. Living without a drop of water for so many days, mental harassment and monetory loss, ultimately when the co. Personnels and dealer all showed their inability to replace the motor, we then purchased another motor of different company to solve the water crisis.
Now, as we have spent so much on plumbing/ electrical work for installing and de-installing 3-4 times, transportation between gurgaon & delhi, taking leave from office and having undergone so much of agony, it is the duty of the co. To refund me the full amount, if they have little concern for their customers.
Though i had already registered 5-6 complaints to the company but the company is not at all responding.
