I have purchased a videocon d2h HD setup box in the month of september and subscribed for 1 year package and paid rs 4500. Within few days of purchase the setup box was behaving abnormally and called customer care for resolution, Engineers did something and issue is resolved temporarily but again after few days faced the same issue and for 5 times. We ask for cancellation and refund, but in return Video con D2H people told us that they will only give rs 2575 in return and 2000 they will deduct out of which 1000 is for hardware, now i dont understand after cancellation where we will keep and use that setup box and other hardware, videocon should take that too with them and refund the amount of the same. other 500 they have deducted saying of discount they have provided while buying, this is something which i am hearing first time from videocon people. I request you, do not buy videocon D2H connection ever, as their support service is equally pathetic. My request to you is please provide my 1500 back and take down your hardware.     They asked me to pay 999 for upgrading from digital to HD set top box, paid the same on 10th November 2015, was promised that the replacement will arrive within 12 hours, today the 15th November 2015 no replacement received till date, after several calls also the Coustomer care seems to care a damn for resolving the issue, had to repeat all over my complaint to each and every coustomer care person about what I am going through, all assured that within couple of hours everything will be resolved but nobody delivered

[protected] I am the customer of videocon since last 3 years. 1 & 1/2 yrs ago a problem was persisting in my set up box (error - E04-4) but it was however sorted out. but since i have recharged with Rs. 1000 the problem has started again. Even after paying the sum of 1000 rupees I am unable to use the service regarding this matter I have talked to your representative he's saying that you have to pay rupees 150 for 3 months which I can't pay, you are deducting Rupees 8.5 per day without showing anything from my account if you are unable to sort out the problem with out taking 150 rupees then I want my Rs.1000 back so that I can use the other services.

            My customer id is[protected]Kochin, kerala). My videocon Set top box is not working and I have registered a complaint on 3rd November 2015. I called the service executives many times they always giving an assurance that the case will be attend and rectify the complaint within 8 hours, after completing 8 days the same has not rectified. I am not receiving any programmes for the last 1 week and still the amount is debited from my account for this period. And they are not bothered to service the complaint as I have money left in the account. Worst customer service and I would like to terminate the connection at the earliest...I am planing to escalate the matter before proper forum as i have sending emails repeatedly to there customer care but not getting the problem rectified.

Since there is no response from them, I called again on 7th Novemeber early morning. The service executive assured that the case will be attended before 6 pm. But nobody came. I am not receiving any programmes for the last 1 week and still the amount is debited from my account for this period.                 My customer id is 90516643, mob no. [protected]. I lodged a complain on 01.11.2015 around 15:00 hrs to repair my set top box. They ensured me that it will be get repaired within next 24 hours. But the set top box was replaced only on 04.11.2015 around 18:00 hrs that too after several phone calls. The problem does not end here. Through the set top box was replaced with a new one services could not be resumed even i paid all the required amount to the engineer who visited my residence. His mobile no. Is [protected]. Whenever i will call them they will ensure me that the services will be resumed shortly and they will call me for the confirmation. But till now there is no improvement and i am not able to watch the tv. Even daily subscription is also deducted.

                When the engineer visited my house on 04.11.15, I paid him Rs. 924 (Rs. 499 for 1 year free service and Rs. 425 for new set top box). For this I have to get Rs. 425 recharge in my account no.90516643. But till date no recharge is done inspite of seberal complaints. Mobile no. Of the engineer is [protected].

                  There was a problem in my set top box. On dtd. 25/10/15 company engineer. Replace it with Rs. 425/- charge. after replacing three times their none of set top box is working till today(04/11/15). and my connection is just off since 12 days. After many complaint they put their demo stb at my home and take my stb with them for matching consumer id and stb smart card no. This process is also continue since 3 days, but till date they are not able to continue my connection on in normal mode. Very poor and ridiculous service and non qualified engineers that they are not able to run my connection since 12/13 days.

                      If some service provider wants to be a good satellite box TV signal provider, then his service engineer should visit the site, within next 4 hours, as the customer's are unable to view television. But here is a case with me, with Videocon D2H, who are not sufficient enough, to service at customer location even in 2 Business days. [protected][protected][protected][protected][protected][protected]-------- Hi, My Customer id is[protected]. We are facing a lot of inconvenient service from Videocon d2h and thinking to drop the connection in response to the quality/way of service you are providing. On 02/11/2015, as we were facing ‘Signal Not Available’ issue in our television, we have registered the request for Service Engineer’s visit. The end time of the ticket was around 8.15 pm on 02/11/2015. I called to customer care on 02/11/2015, as Engineer was not visited. They have closed the previous ticket and opened a new one for 03/11/2015. On 03/11/2015, Tuesday, I have escalated the ticket number of times, by calling customer care. Someone from the team, said, the engineer in your area is on leave and will attend tomorrow. I have registered a complaint for this[protected], demanding the service on today itself. But, I got a call back from no. 080 – 4203 3731, shouting on me that, why I have raised the complaint. Later he said, give me a Unique Code, which is necessary, without which they can’t come to site for servicing. Once, I have given him Unique code, he escaped, taking no further action. Though Videocon d2h has an SLA of 24 hours, for service engineer to visit the site, in the entire 48 hours window, with lot of escalations/complaints going also, the service engineer has not visited the site. One more thing is, for customer service, we are able to call to[protected]toll free) in the beginning from the registered no, but not later. Once, it say ‘the number not exists’, I tried to call it from another alternate number, through which I was able to call customer care successfully. You people are purposely blocking the toll free call through registered number. We don’t want this type of service to us or to use some brand, which is demonstrating this type of Image. If we are unable to view our television, due to your inconvenient services, then for this in pleasure, If we put you a fine, then it is Rs. 10, 000/- from out end, for the inconvenient services, if we can do by putting in Customer Courts, in violation of the service SLA. Going further from next month on-wards, we will evaluate whether to use your services or not! Thanks, Ashfaq

                      In my handset, there was no unattended calls today. Also, as communicated by engineer, he told he is coming within 1hr by 10.30 am.

                      Then again as per his information, my cell was not picked, around 12.30 pm is wrong, if he dialed correct no/rtn.

                      Anyhow, fine that the services was completed around 5.30 pm today and the signal was proper. But, as discussed with senior supervisor and ticket raised, for refund in monthly usage charge, for these days, due to non visit of engineer, is yet to be actioned.

                      I request the team to work and attend the tickets, within the provided time frame.

                      The above one star, is for today's business day, we had in escalating the existing ticket for engineers visit, no. of times in the day. As an outcome, the engineer has not visited to resolve the issue, in 3rd business day also. And as usual, all the tickets were forwarded to concerned departments today also, with no outcome to customer.

                      Though customer representative had committed each time, ticket closure time, as resolution time, it was not found true from the 3 days. I talked with senior supervisor today, he told, by tomorrow 1st half, service will be completed to resolve.

                      Let's see, how Videocon d2h team, is professionally capable of fullfiling customers commitment, in the 4th day.

                      The info put above for the case, is not correct. Firstly, service engineer, not attended at the discussed time, subsequently he blamed lies that, not attended the call.

                      The service engineer in the morning called me at 9.30 am yesterday and told, he will be coming by 10.30 am. He didn't attended site at 10.30 am. As per the sources, on receiving later calls from Videocon, I came to know that, my cell was ringed, but I didn't picked the call around 12.10 pm.

                      If the postman/courier/pizza people's is directly able to deliver me on my given address itself, as provided on Videocon d2h ticket. Why the service engineer and service desks, came back with a blame that, cell was not picked. Anyhow, no calls was in missed status in my handset, if the correct number as per ticket was called.

                      The engineer visited the site finally at 5.15 pm and restored the service. Thanks for that!

                      The ticket which raised, for the refund of D2H usage charges, which was not used from 3 days, due to delay in the service engineers visit is yet to be worked and action is needed.

                      Finally, I request for the good services from Videocon, in future.

                        I made a complaint for not performing my D2H Set-top-box on 30/10/15. Service engineer visited and informed that set-top-box need to be changed. On 01/11/2015 revisited the service engineer with a new set-top-box but could not resume services and told to visit on 2/11/2015. visited again on 2/11/15 and set-top-box replaced collected Rs.650/-, without giving any receipt, and said service will be resumed within 2 hrs. Now at 7.30 PM service has still not been resumed. neither services engineer nor customer care executive give any satisfactory reply. kindly restore my D2H service urgently.

                          Date- 22 oct, 25 oct and 31 oct within 7 days 3 complaints of videocon d2h connection in kharghar. very very bad service provided by customer care as well as local area head. they were saying your problem would get resolved in 5 mins and i waited fr 10 hours. They seriously do fake commit which is really annoying. They actually manipulating public. dont know how to provide service and giving services. I have seriously wasted my 3 days in talking to these guys. They are just irritating me by giving pathetic answers.

                            My Videocon STB stopped receiving the signal and I raised a complaint with D2H customer care for replacing the STB. But till now they did not resolved my problem, daily I am calling the customer care and they take new complaint and they will tell it will resolve in 24 hrs, but of no use and issue not resolved sinse from last 15 days. Worst service from Videocon D2H.

                              I am a regular customer of videocon D2h since last 5 years and above . My consumer No is 51028635 in the name of Shagir Siddique. 15 days beforeI complaint to toll free no. [protected] that I have not seen picture clear, according to the same Vd2h co. has send his executive to clear the problem and same was done by the executive and ask for the service charges Rs. 150/- for the same. Iask for new remote purchase which Iwant to pay the necessary charges. He told me 225/- extra for the same. I give him Rs 1000/- because I dont have the change, he replied that I will give you change back shortly. After long time he could not came back and that time I dont save his cell no also. Yesterday 28/10/2015 in a day time without any intimation Videocon D2h disconect the line and then send me a msg, that time also I have Rs. 150/- balance in my account. When I complained to toll free no [protected] so may times yesterday and today also, they giving assurance will start as early as possible your complaint has been taken. But till the date 30/10/2015 no response is recived. I ask to give me a no of executive who has visited my home, in reply VD2H executive that doesnt have his or address. How it ispossible that Co. does not know the Dealers address or phone no. OR he was support to not givingus. Now who will my balance amount which 625/- plus 150/- balance in a/c. Thanks

                                As I don't know whom to contact to get issue resolved with VideoconD2H I am writing here. My customer ID: 54265654 I have 2 videocon d2h connections at home. For one of the connections I have logged a complaint through their call centre on 12th October 2015. Till date(29th Oct 2015) the issue not resolved. Initially they logged the complaint for the 2nd connection which was working fine. Then the engineers visited refused to repair the connection as it is for the other connection. I contacted the customer service. They said, to cancel a complaint it takes 7 days, and I can log a new complaint only after 7 days. In spite of my request saying that it is for different connection, one senior person told me(over phone) that I have to wait 7 days to log another complaint. I waited and logged the complaint. The engineers came and replaced the set top box, which they said will start working after 24 hours. That worked for about 4 hours and went dead. Again tried contacting customer care. Many times, they said they have recorded the complaint, but they have not logged. Such tricks the customer care executives play with the customers. Ultimately even today(29 Oct 2015) the issue did not get resolved [17 days passed]. I would like to know whom I should contact to get the issue resolved. Unfortunately I have subscribed for 1 year, and hence I can;t shift to another service provider. Now waiting for the subscription to expire so that I can shift to another service provider.

                                Finally on 6th November, the issue got resolved. The technician came and pressed a switch on the STB, and the audio started working. If it was just pressing a button, why did the CS or the technician wait 5 days to do that after the audio issue was reported? I infer that this is intentional by the technical staff, to harass us. Pathetic service.

                                To the customer service personnel, I have requested that I ant to speak to a higher authority in Videocon, for which he said, someone will call me. It is more than a week, no one called. Bravo Videocon and treating customer like this.

                                Don't put such meaningless comments. I received SMS messages indicating when the issue would get resolved. But none of the commitments were honoured. I am attaching the screenshot showing the messages received from customer service. At least the engineers / support should have the courtesy to call and tell they are unable to resolve the issue, so that we can move to another service provider, and escape from you.

                                Today it is 31st Oct, and the issue reposted on 12th October not got resolved yet. It is almost 20 days, STB not working. And you are commenting saying that forwarded the issue to 'concerned department'? This absolutely shows that your department is not "Concerned".

While one connection is down for 21 days, yesterday all of a sudden few channels that we view has disappeared in the second connection, with a message saying no money left or channel not subscribed. I called up Videocon D2H customer support. They say, they can't take my complaint as previous complaint for another connection connection is active. I have no idea what is happening. I infer, whether they are intentionally removing the channels because I have gone and complained in public media such as consumercomplaints.in.

                                Here (attachment) is yesterday's message from customer support indicating that the issue of first connection will get resolved by 1st November (Today) by 02.02 pm.

                                  The remote with the Videocon d2h unpairs often. If made complaints some technical persons supports through phone which couldnt be resolved by me. They deny to change STB box which i am not at all satisfied. I need a solution regarding pairing of RF remote with STB. Very WORST customer care service and technical engg support. If the services is postpaid, the company would have concentrated on Customer Care Service.

                                  I am having similar trouble. D2h sucks big time now. They give you vulnerable stb and remote which doesn't work after sometime. I am facing pairing issue every now and then. I changed my remote also but do not want to spend again on technician visit.

                                  Same issue every now and then the remote needs to be paired what kind of setup box and Rf remote Videocon provide worst customer service.. they came and changed the setup box which was working fine and took 2000 RS worst from them repeatedly the pairing has to be done..

                                    Hello there, I need to raise a complaint against videocon d2h service provider Customer ID: 90024164 Within a month I've changed four Set Top Boxes(STBs) because each of those STBs was damaged. Numerous time I have lodged my complaints to customer care but they failed to provide any permanent solution. I also contacted to Jignesh Dabhi( Team leader), Amit Sonawane( Senior supervisor) and Sumit Singh( Senior Supervisor) to rectify this problem, but they also failed to give any assurance. In all this process I paid Rs.425, yet they provided me damaged STBs and nobody is taking responsibility for the poor quality STBs delivered to me. All I want that if I'm paying them I must receive a good service. Also, they must stop frauding the consumers by providing damaged STBs instead of fully functioned one. Regards Vishal Verma
