Hi, My name is shiva, my account number is[protected], i recharged my account on Sep 28'2013 for one year, but it got disconnected 3 months before that, i recharged my account for rs 250/- and raised complaint about my early disconnection, finally i got my connection back for 10 days and they disconnected it again, and they deducted my 250 rupees balance also from my account, can you please look into this issue

    I have received phone call from phone[protected] on 14.09.14 saying that they are calling from the videocon D2H replacement department, that mine set-top box is old and that there is a scheme launched by videocon D2H that by paying Rs 5990 you will get DVR set top box and a voucher coupon of Rs 4500 that you can shop on jabong/ebay.com. so I gave my cofirmattion to do the booking.
    I get SMS from Videocon that work order no. 26774562 is booked. The settop box is replaced by DVR on 15.09.14 and I have paid Rs 5990 to the installer but regarding coupon there was no any positive reply thus I am cheated of the coupon of Rs 4500

    It is my opion that some people have got the data of videcon customer and are using the same for their gain

    my complaint is still not resolved, I had complaint on 15.09.24 and today is 23.09.14 i.e. seven days has passed
    the first thing that needed to be done was as soon as I have reported my complaint there should have been the first action was to block the giving of the Voucher coupon upon the completion of work order that way you could have trace the email id of the person who has booked the work order on the on-line.

    How can I rate this on-line complaint Forum when my complaint is not even taken up

I also deactivate some channel, I also want to know some services but every time i call on toll free no or any customer care no it always busy or i hear same tape that all executives are busy so how i contact this customer care?           On 9th Sept 2014 around 2.00 pm, I called up Videocon DTH customer care seeking a new connection. As I wanted a connection urgently, I asked if possible to have it installed on the same day. I got a response saying, they confirmation that the connection will be done within 24 hours. Believing the customer care agent's words of installation within 24 hours, I agreed and got my customer id created[protected]. I was given an assurance that the site engineer will contact me soon and will get the installation done with in 24 hours. Even after 20 hours, there was no sign of the engineer. I called the customer care again, at least a dozen times and the answer was the agent will get back to me. After 30 hours, still there was no response. I called the customer care number again a dozen times, but never got a positive response. They are just cheating upon us. My call was hung up at least 3-4 times. Few instances, they kept me on long hold and finally they dropped my call. There were couple of instances where I wanted to raise a complaint and requested complaint number, but I was always given an answer that I will get the complaint number messaged to my phone number which I never received till date. I did not get any call back from the engineer nor the customer care supervisor. Its so frustrating calling again and again ending up cheated by the customer care agents. Request action up on giving false statements to the customer and not keeping them updated of the delay if so happened. Its really frustrating for a person waiting for days for a connection. Its not that Videocon is the only dth provider, we trusted them but they cheated. Akhil

              I requested for a relocation for my Videocon D2H on 31Aug2014. New location is only 500 mts away from my present location, which is in kozhikode, kerala. Now its 10 days, i haven't got my connection relocated or got a call from kozhikode office. I made 4 followups once in a couple of days and each time, the customer care team assures that my concern would be solved in 8 hours of time. I used the contact us form on videocon d2h website, and haven't got atleast a mail receipt confirmation. They are not at all providing an escalation matrix or solving my problem. So there is no other way for me other than posting this issue in various consumer forums or to move legally. If they are not interested in maintaining a customer, i have requested them to refund the balance cash in my videocon d2h account with effect from 31Aug2014, so that i could move to some other provider.

                Dear Sir/Madam, My d2h id is 76728536. Problem:-2nd of September I made a complaint stating I am not able to view anything and then the rep told d2h will arrange for a technician visit at home and it will charged 150 rs to me I agreed for that. Here on I waited for 48hrs and no one turned up and then finally on 5th morning I myself fixed the antena and tv started working. The same date I remembered that I have to recharge my account to. So, I have recharge my account with 400 rs. But in the meanwhile d2h people disconnected my service evening around 7pm. After waiting for 3hrs I made a call to the customer care to ask why I am not able to watch the tv. They started telling they will deduct 150 rs from my account because I made a complaint on 2nd. Now my question is when I have not avail any of the service for what reason I should pay that 150rs. Then 6th September I got a call from the d2h and representative told me sir its a fault from d2h side sorry for the inconvenience. I am arranging technician visit it will be free of cost for you and when I asked about that 150rs he also confirmed that if at all that 150 rs is getting deducted will be refunded and we both agreed on this.. and the complaint number is[protected]for reference). Now 7th September technician visited at my home and he confirmed there is no signal issue the account is deactive from the d2h side and he asked me to talk to customer care. (That means there was no problem at all intentionally d2h is doing all this just make some extra profit). When I called they forcefully deducted the amount and told me that I have to pay there is no go because I made a complaint on 2nd September and even though no one visited at my place and try to talk to me. My quetion what kind of policy or customer service is this where in I have not availed any of service and for that I have to pay 150rs. Please someone suggest me for what reason I should pay 150rs

                  Dear Service Provide Myself Jagdish Suchak your existing customer of Videocon D2H since more than 2 years, My customer ID is 92042948. On the 11th Aug. 2014 I have been shifted to Adipur (Kutch) location due to my job posting. And as per guidance by customer care cell I have been informed to pay 250 Rs. charge for re-installation (as it's relocation case it is to be paid as engineer service charge). After registering my complaint for re-installation the product service engineer has visited my place and done it, when it's done by service engineer I have paid Rs. 250 to engineer as instructed by customer care cell. But all of sudden on the 26th of Aug my connection gets disconnected due to insufficient balance, and I have been informed through message that I am suppose to recharge of Rs. 250-, And I do so accordingly after 2 to 3 hrs my service has been reactivated. I have paid re-installation charge in cash to engineer, even though it is been deducted from above recharged amount. The same complaint I have registered at Videocon D2H call centre 5 to 6 times, The result is yet zero. And I have been infomed that I might taken above service through some of local engineer., If I am new in location how would I know any of local engineer. Aside this without information by D2H call centre how would anybody does have my details regarding re-intallation. There are total 5 persons to whom I had word regarding the said complaint. 1.                     The tv showed signal not available...we called customer cate and they said they will send their executive to our home...now its 4 days after registration of complaint...no rascals have turned up so far...we called the customer care many times...they are asking us to wait for the executive...will these people extend our validity equivalent to these waiting days???? Very very poor response...I highly recommend not to buy this product ever...mobile no ;- [protected] custmar id ;[protected]

                      Hi, This is Karthikeyan .E and my address is 86A, Sai Brindavan Apartments, Ashok Brindavan III Main Road, Iyappanthangal, Chennai-600056. I have made a online booking for Videocon D2h Connection on 02/09/2014. The Order No.D2H[protected]. And i confirmed with the bank, which says the transaction was successful and the money reached the party. As per their Advertisement and confirmation the delivery & installation should be 24-48hrs. But till date the company has not responded by any means. And as a funny response, the customer care representative says that he cannot do anything in this matter, as he needs customer ID for any sort of queries and not order number. 1) Also when I am asking them to cancel the order they are saying write a mail we will cancel after a month. 2) I asked the representative name, he said he cannot reveal. 3) I asked a solution, he said to call the Customer care the next day. And on the next day, they gave the same answer to contact the Customer care after a while. Questions: 1) Is this the way they acheive their profits...??? 2) and I came across the internet that there are many compliants in this same issue. Which means the company does not have a continuous improvement plans in place. With that is it worth to invest on this product...??? 3) With this such poor customer care service, How will i get a proper response throughout the days i retain their connection (if at all thats been delivered). Kindly look into the matter, as the company may be cheating to other clients as well. With Regards Karthikeyan .E

                        We booked and got installed videocon D2H at our home on 30/8/2014 (customer id[protected]. This included installation of a dish and two set top boxes (one HD and one SD) for two television sets. The order for the above was booked online and as per the videocon site we were to receive Free Coupons worth Rs. 4500 from Jabong, Cleartrip & eBay totalling Rs. 9000 for the two installations. But despite repeated reminders through mail and phone there is no response from their sales representative (id: sanjeev09) and customer care people. Kindly do the needful

                          I am Rohit bharti from New Delhi and my customer id : 76971785 and contact no [protected]. last week i registered a complaint no.[protected] regarding set box not functioning only switch light appears. Initially that i had a chat with videocon call centre service representative they told me the procedure of changing the set top box and replacement with HD set top box and that time they commited to change the box, assured that i can take the the faulty box.But service engineer refused to change the box with same condition till the confirmation and without any confirmation he given feedback that i am not giving the service charge. After his visit my box switch light is not working which was working before his visit and he didn"t specify the reason of troubleshooting and now he is not picking my phone and videocon service centre has dropped me the message of problem resolved so please do the something on priority bases and take some action against service engineer Amit ([protected]).

                            Worst Customer careVideocon d2h Customer care is the worst customer care services. They make people Fool. For new connection they call instantly but at the time of service and complain there is no one to resolve the problem. For New customer please Be aware of this product.My complaint was registered on 17th August but till date no engineer has visited my place. My d2h is shut from the last 1 month, I call every day twice n is been told that the engineer will surely visit today but no one has. No Signal since last 1 monthI have registered my complaint on 23/August/2014 for non availability of signal since 25/July/2014. My complaint No. is[protected]. I have talked with your operators many times and he said the engineer will visit for resolving the problem but still not a single engineer was came from your company.                               Dear Videocon, I am new videocon d2h customer with customer id[protected], but i am sorry to say that i am utterly disappointed with its services. I repent for my decision to choose Videocon d2h service. I had to write this due to your lackadaisical approach towards customer complaint redressal . Though VIDEOCON D2H claims of world class service, but customer care cell is meant for false promises only. I think you guys don't believe in after sales customer service. Finally, I made my mind to change my services to Tata Sky and now I don’t care now that my complaint be resolved or not, but I want to bring fore the crappiest service of the company with such a big name.I just want to narrate my story to one and all to show my woes, so that it may save those all who may be thinking to purchase Videocon d2h. I booked a work order to exchange my SD STB to HD on 20/08/2014 at 10.56pm, with work order no.[protected]. While booking the work order, customer care call executive told me that by STB will be exchanged within 24 hours. So I took holiday for 1 day from work to get the work done. To my amazement, nobody came and neither anybody called. Then I booked a Complain on 22.08.14 at 04.04 pm (complain number –[protected].08.14 04.04 pm) and then again customer care representative assured that the work will be done within 24 hours. But the same fate, nobody came this time too. Then I again booked a complaint on 26.08.14 at 06.03 pm with complain number[protected]. Once again the customer care responded that service engineer will approach me within 24 hours. On next day, though I got a call from some supervisor, who called me to just enquire whether my work has been done or not, on my negative answer he too promised that it will be done within next 24 hours. But, still no service engineer came or called.In the meantime I called 3 more times to complain (from my registered number) and every time customer care representative responded that it will be done within 8 hours or 24 hours. On these 3 calls they didn’t give me new complain number but every time I got same response without any result. I wrote all these to save others from the agony and discomfort I have gone through by poor service from Videocon d2h. I request all to think twice before choosing it.

                                My customer I'd is 74551583 Videocon D2h .These people have suspended my service anuthorizedly and asking me to pay Rs.150/- for the service that I did'nt received.I called customer care on 18.08.2014 due to signal problem they have registered this as a complain without giving any conformation of complaint through SMS. The service engg. Contacted me after four day regarding the complain I told him that I didn't make any complain because there is no complaint number or conformation through SMS. And today I.e on[protected] my service is suspended, after speaking to the supervisor on helpline he said to resume the service we have to pay Rs.150. I asked to customer care that Why you have not given any complaint number through SMS and second if there is any complain then why not they have attended within 24 hours. Is this the service that Videocon is providing yo its customers or just looting us.This is a humble request to Videocon d2h to start my service immediately or else I have complaint to the consumer court.

Videocon D2h representative called me and informed that Rs. 150 has been credited back in my account also emailed from [email protected] to log in to ConsumerComplaints.in and reply to their message.                                   My customer I'd is 74551583 Videocon D2h .These people have suspended my service anuthorizedly and asking me to pay Rs.150/- for the service that I did'nt received.I called customer care on 18.08.2014 due to signal problem they have registered this as a complain without giving any conformation of complaint through SMS. The service engg. contacted me after four day regarding the complain I told him that I didn't make any complain because there is no complaint number or conformation through SMS. And today I.e on[protected] my service is suspended, after speaking to the supervisor on helpline he said to resume the service we have to pay Rs.150. I asked to customer care that Why you have not given any complaint number through SMS and second if there is any complain then why not they have attended within 24 hours. Is this the service that Videocon is providing yo its customers or just looting us.This is a humble request to Videocon d2h to start my service immediately or else I have complaint to the consumer court.

                                    My Videocon Customer ID is[protected]. Its indeed a frustrating situation today that ever after calling them multiple times and reminding the inconvenience caused to me, my problem is not yet resolved. My Concern - Even after raising request for temporary disconnection on 30th July my whole balance is deducted and on calling your customer care no, which is not toll free every time they accepted that its a mistake from their side and will be rectified in few hours but till date is not resolved. Just to inform you that I have wasted more than 500 Rs in calling them till now. I have also called from ISD location and every time my call is being transferred and kept on hold for long time but no supervisor picks it up, ending in wastage of my money. Every time i am calling i have to start from the beginning and again call be transferred to Supervisor and will end in min of 30 min duration and at last the supervisor will give assurance of rectification within 24 hrs but the problem is not yest solved Please resolve my problem ASAP and give me call back. Really frustrated to be your customer

                                    I received the call from concerned person but all what he did was apologies. My concern was i wasted 500 Rs in order to get my 150 Rs. back since your service is too bad. Do you think its justified ?. The service representative will always assure you that your complaint will be resolved in so and so time after keeping your call on hold for an hour and than the issue will not be resolved even after said time. Customer has to call again and same thing repeats multiple times. I have lost 500 Rs. in order to call you.

                                      I have subscribed videocon d2h platinum HD plan since almost 2 years. Recently some time back the set top box automatically updated itself and all the problem started. Changing the channel became so irritating due to huge lag time from one channel to another. Sometimes as long as 3 to 4 minutes! Especially when i used to run through channels quickly. It was so frustating that all my family reduced waching tv drastically. Another problem is after initial startup i used to get message signal not available, usually in the morning hours. Only after switching STB off and on several times, its possible to watch tv.
                                      initially i ignored these problems thinking that videocon might launch another update and solve it on its own. Since they do not seem to bother much i finally decided to lodge official complaint. 1st call to videocon d2h customer care went like this. some rowdy exec. picked up call. When i told these problems his 1st reply was that i will have to pay rs. 450 for STB. That dumb rowdy person didnt even paid attention to my complaints and continuosly asked me to pay rs. 450 for STB even after me telling him repeatedly that i have valid service warranty.Finally when i told him to kindly give me complaint no., He curtly told me that i will receive SMS containing complaint no. and it will be addressed within 24 hours. He abruptly cut the call. Not surprisingly, neither i got any SMS about complaint nor did i receive any call from videocon. of course no question of complaint getting addressed! Instead videocon used this opportunity to send me SMS containing some offer though i am registered for DND. Such a cheap and disgusting attitude towards customer complaint! Next i gave another call to videocon, had to repeat entire complaint again after which exec. told me that an engineer will visit in 24 hours and i will be charged rs. 150. Again i told him about my service warranty. To my horror, he plainly refused that i have any warranty! this is despite the fact that i posses a document stating service warranty of 3yrs valid currently. Finally i told him to send engineer to whom i will show warranty.
                                      Engineer came next day. I narrated him all complaints again. He checked tv and acknowledged complaints. The way he tried to solve them was a complete let down. He tried solving problems by reducing the resolution of HD channels from 1080(full HD) to 480! My god! Why the hell am i paying videocon such a huge sum if i have to watch HD channels in low resolution??? As expected, it didnt solve any problem. The guy called up someone, possibly his EXPERT SENIOR, that it failed to solve problem. He was then probably asked to replace and check the STB. BUT the guy didnt even had one. Imagine you are troubleshooting STB complaints and you do not even care to bring one! Now in his attempt to fool me, he tried replacing power adapter to show me that he actually did something. After that showdown he took smart card out, rubbed it on his pants and placed it again. After all his moronic attempts, he finally tells me: Your smart card problem is solved. WHAT THE HELL!!! Who told you there was any problem with smart card. After i pointed him out this fact, he still repeated multiple times that how intelligently he solved smart card problem( by rubbing it on his pants). Must be some kind of magical pants!
                                      When i confronted him repeatedly about actual problems, his reply was iconic. YE PROBLEM UPER SE HAI. MAI KUCHH NAHI KAR SAKTA. Ironically he was sent from UPERSE, form videocon itself.
                                      Since i realised it was beyond his remedial power of magical pants, i asked him to go and thought of complaining again.
                                      Next day he called me again and asked me if he can check by replacing STB, i told him ok but at particular time when i am home. He immidietly refused, told me that he wants to visit now and change it.
                                      Later i got another call, from videocon coordinator Dinesh Prasad. He Asked me same thing. I told him clearly that whatever work you want to do, do ot in my presence. He then told me that my complaint will be closed and i will be charged rs 150. Again i had to narrate him about warranty. It was such a tormenting experience.
                                      SO BASICALLY VIDEOCON DIDNT SOLVE ANY PROBLEMS AND CHARGED ME RS 150 FRO NOT DOING ANYTHING AND DESPITE HAVING VALID SERVICE WARRANTY.

                                        Dear Team, I was really excited when I have thought of installing D2H - HD set-up box with the kind of offer provided by your call center and therefore I have immediately disconnected my Tata Sky which I was using for last four to five years. The original offer provided by the dealer in the Pune was Rs 1800 hd + 1 month subscription free. However, the offer provided by D2H call centre was Rs 2200 Hd+ two months subscription free. Considering, the offer I have opted for D2H and finally it got installed at my place on 29 July 2014. To my surprise, my connection got disconnected on 20 August 2014 stating that there is no balance. Then I have called call centre and I have been informed that they will check and confirm the status within 24 hours. Now it is almost 4 days (96 hours) I have not received any feedback on two months free subscription. Having stated above, I have received around 25 to 30 missed calls from D2H call centre to make payment for activation. These were MISSED CALLS. I think D2H is more interested to TROUBLE ITS CUSTOMER RATHER THAN serving its customers. Also, in one of the discussion with D2H, I have been provided with a break-up of Rs 2200 as below: 1) Rs 1350 for hardware 2) Rs 150 for installation and other 3) Rs 540 for monthly subscription and 4) Rs 160 balance in my account. If Rs 2200 includes one months subscription, then how come my connection got disconnected on 20 August 201 when it was original installed on 29 July 2014. I think for D2H month is of 20 days instead of 30/31 days.
