UBISLATE7+ BOOKING ID IS PMA6B63. I HAD SENT THE CHEQUE NUMBER 318854 DATED 05 APRIL 2012 OF HDFC BANK FOR UB SLATE AND IT HAS BEEN CREDITED BY THEM. THEY HAVE NEITHER DELIVERED NOR ARE THEY RESPONDING ON THE PHONE. THIS IS OUTRIGHT FRAUD. I AM AN ARMY OFFICER AND EXPECT TO HAVE A FAIR AND HONEST DEALING AS COMMITTED BY THEM TO DELIVER THE UB SLATE IN APRIL 2012. PLEASE TAKE STRICT ACTION AND DO LET ME KNOW THE FOLLOW UP, PLEASE.

      I see several hundred complains against this company while trying to vent my anger on this issue. The company keeps saying they cannot handle huge calls, but the people who are in the call center dose not have the minimal courtesy. They simply cut off the line while I was trying to ask the reason for the delay.

      If the company does not have enough resource, why would they ask for the money to be sent beforehand. How do they get time to withdraw the cheques when they don't have time to even send a mail on a delivery? Why is the website so numb about expected deliveries?

      As far as my case:
      - December 3, 2011: Pre-booked the UBISlate 7+
      - March 14, 2012: Sent a followup request for teh status
      - March 25, 2012: Received a mail to pay the amount (mail extract: please mail a Cheque/Demand Draft for Rs.2999/-,
      payable to Datawind Innovations Pvt.Ltd. You can have a prioritized delivery of your Ubislate7+ in April!)
      - Wow! I was glad they responded in 10 days! well read on
      - April 03, 2012: Requested for a status again
      - April 12 2012: Cheque was cleared from my bank account
      - April 16, 2012: Got a response to provide cheque details
      - April 19, 2012: Sent the cheque details

      - After this repeated mails on various dates: But alas no response, because they are very busy picking up other's cheque and depositing them.

      - May 09, 2012: Called the[protected] number to be greeted by a very bad behaving support person. He says I will only get the product in July (if they fell). While I was explaining the email about delivery in April, he simply cut the phone line.

      I have no idea if this forum helps, but please count this complain against the company. They should learn a lessen that no other company should be allowed to do this with the consumers.

      UBISLATE 7+ (AAKASH TABLET) — Delivery is never done even after payment

      I have sent my payment to DATAWIND team nearly 3 months back and till now they did not deliver my tablet .And it is supposed to be delivered to me atleast by March 15th but now its already May 8th
      Most Irresponsible.A kind of fraud.

        Reference to the pre – ordering ID “PM2C88AE92A7” for the UBISLATE 7+, I have despatched my cheque favoring “Datawind Innovations Pvt Ltd,” for the amount of Rs 2999/- with the covering note on 28.03.2012. They have recived my letter as confirmed by the couries service and then the amount also deducted from my account on 05.04.2012 itself, but still I have not received the product. Also no proper information / response from their side. After several mails sent to them, on 07.05.2012, they responded to send the cheque number.             Very surprising, these guys accept orders on their website and seems never deliver the tablet.
            I booked their UbiSlate7+ in the last week of March. As per the instructions on their website, If one sends the cheque in advance, gets preference in delivery with free shipping. So, I sent them the cheque of full amount. Their cheque got cleared from my bank on 7th April and since then, I had emailed them multiple times, filled the contact us form on their website, tried reaching their toll free number but no response at all.
            Now I see someone selling this same tablet on ebay with delivery within 10 days.
            Seems these guys are just taking consumers for a ride. Complete irresponsible and unprofessional.

            We have ordered 3 Nos. o[censored]bislate 7+ from Datawind Innovations Pvt. Ltd., on 10-March-2012 with DD for Rs. 2999/- Each.

            The Demand Drafts were encashed by the Company within no time (within two days). But, there is no response about the delivery of items.

            We have requested for the confirmation mail for receipt of Amount, which they have obliged. But, there is no response for any mail asking for the delivery schedule.



            I feel this is a company with INNOVATIVE idea of making money (collect money and run off) !!! :)

            This is two months after and today their emails are also bouncing back !!! (is this indication of Company Closed down and ran off with money)

              I ordered the tab in Feb 2012 online on there website www.ubislate.com. I filled up all my details and they gave me booking Id and said that if i pay them now via cheque or DD, then they will not charge shipping. The tab costs Rs 2999/-. I speed post them cheque of the same amount. The money is deducted from my account near about 1 month ago. I have not got my Tab yet. Now if i m calling them to there contact numbers, they don't pick there phones. Yesterday i tried again, one mam picks the phone and said that delivery is not ready yet.               Hi Raman Dhamija, there is so many people like you and like me my Sirikonda Jayadev i also booked Tab in the month of Dec 2011 and got mail from Datawind to make the payment in the month of Feb 2012, and immedlitely i made a payment and amount got debited from my account in the month of Mar 2012. i called up nothing less than 100 times, everytime i called i get mesg from datawind team that i would be get in 1 week, which never happend, i request datawind people to give exact data when we get the device, it is food and cloth which i need immd... but come out exact date where would wait and call customer care now and than and trouble them.

                I have book a ubslate against booking id : "PM9C6CEE4112", i have send a chq of RS: 2999.00. The amount cleared from my bank account on 31st March 2012. Still today neither received any communication of the booked material. I have tried to contact over phone , no body picked the phone. I have tried to contact them via email which i have attached below.

Right away i sent cheque of Rs.2999.00 details below..till this time there is no response from Datawind.. No call response and email is bouncing back.... this is nothing but completely cheating people or one of the worst poor management in PVT sector to handle things...

                  It seems i am fooled by this company and want refund of my money along with all other expanse like Bank Charges and shipping and Courier charges Rs.300.. If the issue is not solved here i will FIR again this company to get my refund and stop fooling people..

                  They such a fraud and liar... if my chequ amount digit and Amount in word is different then why Did bank withdrew the amount and then return the same amount in my account... If cheque had any error ..they should have return cheque back to me..

                  I dont know how such fraud company is fooling Indian people and no one is raising voice against such company... though my money is back but what about the charges courier and time consumption ..

                  If we keep silent such so called company will cheat other innocent people who can go extend to post and raise their voice..

                    Respected Sir/ Madam.
                    I had purchased an Aakash Tab from N Carry bearing Order Number:[protected] in which they had been cheated by not providing the 2GB S D Card which was to be recieved along with the Tab as it was commited by their officail's to be recieved in another 5 working Days but Till date i hav e not received the same.
                    Secondly after a long fight with the Ncarry they neglected to send the same. After that the Tab which I had received is not supporting the SD Card, MP4 or Video is not supported.
                    As & when contacted to Datawind Official they had sent me the below mentioned Mail stating you have to reprogram your device.
                    To reprogram your device just follow the link and the instructions below.
                    1.Download the reprogramming files from www.ubislate.com/reprogram.zip
                    2.Unzip the files and load them on your empty USB/Pen drive.(make sure files should not be contained in any folder) 3.Put your device on charging(make sure that your device is in OFF mode
                    before reprogramming).Connect the USB/Pen drive to your device when your device
                    is off. 4.Power on the unit and wait for 2 minutes.
                    5.After reprogramming unit will be turned off automatically.
                    6.Remove the USB/Pen drive and power on the unit.
                    7.After your unit boot on, you will get "Calibration screen" for calibrating the screen.
                    8.Press the point with some sharp pointed thing or Pen for atleast 4 to 5 seconds then release, it will be shifted to next corner.
                    9.Do the same one by one, your screen will be calibrated and device will boot up within few minutes.

                    It diidnt worked even though after a repeated contact's Ihad been treated like a Baby I have to LISTEN FOLLOW & go through all the procedures of Reprograming the device keep on changing the Pen Drive etc.
                    At last when it all failed I had been assured that the same would be replaced / reprogrammed for which it has to be collected by them through their respective tie up FEDEX Courier.

                    I have been confirmed through the said mail for collection.

                    Now when the courier person came to collect the same they neglected to collect stating to remove the battery or either send the same in surface mode as it is obligated in airways mode.
                    Now since after that date neither they [DATAWIND Co. Officials / or the FEDEX Courier Authority ] are answering my calls nor replying or making arrangements for collecting the same.
                    Sir I had earlier been cheated by N Carry Site by not recieveing the SD Card now these people are making a joke of me by viewing my contact no & not receiving my calls or replying to my mail
                    atahis is really a ridiculos as purchased the same on thinking that if we dont trust the Indian Brands then how would other's will but the fact is China Product is atleast much better than this atleast one get the delightfulm experience of owing the device not like this.
                    This as a call to all the Aakash Tab purchaser to go through all such procedure befor making a purchase from these cheaters.

                        I paid for my prebooked ubislate (booking ID is PM5F1B6) in the second last week of march with promise that they will deliver it till march end.

                        But astonished with the actions they are taking to answer our queries. They don't know how to deal with customers. They shouldn't do fake promises for delivery. I think they don't know that is the meaning of expedited shipping, what they had promised.

                        I've asked them either to ship till the end of April or refund me the money. I know they will again give me one date for processing my order.

                          I am Kamlesh V. Mulchandani booked Aakash/Datawind Ubislate+ online and after some time the called me and asked me to pay 50% RTGS amount to our account and balance amount paid on delivery of Aakash/Datawind Ubislate+, so I did RTGS of 1500/- transfer to company's said account but still I didn't get my Aakash/Datawind Ubislate+ or my RTGS refund amount of Rs. 1500/-.

                          Even I called them so many times but some numbers are blocked and one number ([protected]) is still ringing but nobody is giving me response and even I logged a complaint about this issue my compalint no. is BC798632UP and they told me that they will tranfer my RTGS Amount 1500/- in my account or they will deliver the product by cash on delivery but since 3 to 4 months gone but I didn't get any response from them so please help me for this above issue.

                            I have booked UbiSlate+ product from Datawind Ltd. online with reference no. PMBF825F42F8 on 9th Jan 2012. I was informed that pre-payment will ensure early delivery and free shipping.

                            I paid a cheque of Rs.2999/- and the same was realized on 4th Feb 2012 as per my HDFCBank account details -

                            I tried calling their callcenter but no one picks up, I do not get response to status update of my order even on their email.                                   I had booked aakash tab. Which got me on the 11th jan 2012 after delay. But it is not working properly. Its speed is very very slow. It even unable to open gallery or take 10 seconds if i change widget screen. nothing is working properly and many message shows the process not responding. Besides that It does not show any method to close any running application and also does not find any volume control in it. Its totally a waste of money for me. It is kept on shelf for almost 3 months. I dont know what to do now. this is last hope for me. Also no service center here in delhi.

                                  I had booked aakash tab. Which got me on the 5th jan 2012. But only in 5 days the touch screen is not working. I called on this No.[protected].Mr.gagandeep was online.he told me to reset Aakash device by pressing backside small button.After reset device not working properly. Then Mr.Gagandeep mailed me programe and applications zip file. As per his instruction I installed that file but after that my aakash device get switch off.From that time device not working,not getting switching on.

                                  I had also booked aakash tab ubislate 7ci. Which got me on the 28th dec.2012. From the days one the tablet is not working. its totaly shut off, only the android name is coming on display, & also when i got my tablet by Currier, I found Totally scratches on screen & back side of tablet its like second-hand user product, I called on this No.[protected] but no one is receiving the phone.

                                  I had purchased ubislate cz model on 16th Oct13, device recived on 22nd Oct.
                                  Immediately unpacking device I observed device rear camera and mic not working.

                                  I had logged a complaint with reference number 1028mh5326 and taken it to service center at Bhayandar, Mumbai. Complaint was logged for nonfunctioning of rear camera and mic problem.

                                  As per service center, device is glued with some adhesive and hence need to be replaced. Service center refused to accept the product under warranty since it was glued from inside, which is quite surprising for a "brand new" tablet.

                                  This is totally unacceptable and raises doubt on your quality control.

                                  I made several calls to your call center, but I am not getting any support and progress updates.

                                  Please help me in the matter.

                                    As i made payment to DATAWIND PVT LTD of Rs.2999 through cheque on the 21st day of february 2012 with the cheque reference number #509778 through SBI. I booked tablet on 25th Nov-2011 with the booking ID np4025. I was said that if i made prepayment to datawind i was assured that the tablet would be deliver within a week time. When i enquired about this matter from customer care number it was not at all responding besides this they are not responding through mail also.
                                    I called so many times to customer care of datawind and a trail of 100 i get connected. Every time customer care executive is asking me to wait for some time.

                                    Hence i request the concerened department to take action against DATAWIND PVT LTD.

                                      On 3rd february 2012, they offered me the product delivery before march end 2012 on advance payment. I send cheque of 2999/. I got confirmation letter from datawind that they got my cheque. But I didn't get my tablet, not only they are not giving any information regarding product launch or delivery. So I want to know where to file complaint against that company or atleast want to know whether they send me the product or not.

                                        I have booked Ubislate7+ and my booking ID is PMA5583797DA and as per their instruction, I have already paid Rs. 2999/-, by UTI Bank Cheque and the amount has been debited from my account on 3/3/12. I have received acknowledgment on March 7th, 2012. But after more than one month, instead of giving prompt answer they are just saying "Your order is in process, when your delivery is ready to be shipped you will be contacted beforehand for the details."

                                        Now I have found so many people like me. So there is some doubt raising about their intention. Are they going for fraud or what ?
