Hi,

I have placed and order for Ubisalte7+ in Jan-2012, for delivery promise of Mar2012, but till date I have not received my Ubisalte. After continuous following Datawind has accepted that my amount has been received for Amount Rs.2999 by Cheque No#334760 of ICICI Bank, payable to Datawind Innovations Pvt. Ltd.

The payment has been Debited from my account on 18-Feb-2012.

Please help to resolve when shall i expect my TAB.

I Had Booked Ubislate tablet through the site www.ubislate.com, I had received the packet by DTDC couriers but I have Received The Box with the tablet missing,only the charger was present.

within a month of Booking. But now even after 6 months of booking the product I have still not received it.
On contacting them they always have an excuse and always said that the product will be delivered to you "Next month"

I booked a akash tablet pc through datawind corp. On feb 12. While accepting the order (booking no.Pmab331) datawind promised that through an e-mail that they will deliver the device before last week april-12 if an advance payment is made in full.

Accordingly, I sent them rs. 2999 through a DD (no.150460) for rs. 2,999 dt. 1 march, 2012 on central bank of india bank, ulhasnagar,mumbai in their favor on name of datawind innovations.Pvt.Ltd. This has been dispatched to them by dtdc courier docket

however, they have not delivered anything till date. It is impossible to speak to them on the toll-free no.[protected] anytime.. they are not able to keep their word and no respect for customer.

The following message is for the interest of public those who are planning to buy tablet from Aakash /Datawind,I am suggesting that dont buy anything from that company,as they dont know to manfacture good quality products as well as dont know what to do after sales.I bought a UBISLATE7 two months before,it stops working after one month.When I contacted the datawind there is no proper response from their side.Their only intention is to sell the products to the innocent people thats it.So I am requesting you all and those who have plan in future to buy those TABLETS from DATAWIND PLEASE DONT...

I ordered for the akash tablet and my booking reference number is PM675C2CEF3. I sent the cheque for akash tablet in January 2012 and the cheque cleared in Februrary. The delivery was supposed to take place in March. However, no delivery has occurred and no emails are being answered by them. I think a criminal case should be launched against ubislate for gobbling money of people.

I have booked online for UBISlate + from Data wind. My email communications are as under.
1-I have to state that I made online booking for Ubislate7+ on 28.12.2011 under booking ID is PMFC61C.
2-On 27th February 2012 ,by email I addressed to Shri Suneet Singh Tuli,President & CEO, Data Wind Ltd. requesting for intimation when will I receive UBIslate +.
3-On 9th March 2012 by email I was intimated that if I make payment in advance than I will receive product as soon as available.
4-By another email on 13.03.2012,I enclosed cheque of Rs.2999.00 in favor of Data wind Innovatitions Pvt.Ltd bearing Cheque No-011277 drawn on Bank of India, Cumballa Hill Branch, dated 13.03.12 with understanding that accessories are also included and will be sent along with the Ubislate7+. Such as Keyboard Case, Car Charger, Regular charger, ear phones and any other accessories as available.
5-By email dated 24th March 2012 Data Wind acknowledged the receipt of cheque.
6-Since I had made two bookings for Ubislate + I requested for payment for another UBISlate+ .However, I also requested to intimate me when will I receive the product for payment made.
7-By email dated 19.04.2012 I was intimated that "Your order is in process, will get the delivery of your device within 23rd April to 7th may.
We regret for the inconvenience caused for delay."
8-By email dated 7.05.2012 I informed them that since they have failed to fulfill their promise in delivering the product they should return my cheque.
I have to state that they have completely failed to deliver as their promise. Also note that the Toll Free No given here and on website No one answers that phone. It is complete fraud on part of company to their valuable customer.
I have to demand my money with damages and pains and trauma for such long time.
Kindly do the needful and revert to me.

I have done payment for aakash tablet through my hdfc bank Demand draft transfer. Those people from data wind technologies recieved the money and it was confirmed from my bank. But until now i didnt received any response from datawind rather than asking for dd details. I have sent the dd details for more than 15-20 times.But they keep on asking the same question and irritating me. Morever now their mail ids they have given in their website also not working. Also i cannot explain their response over call that obviously every one knows. hence i decided to complain here. THEY ARE CHEATERS.

I booked 2 UbiSlates for my kids in Jan 2012. Payment was made on both these and after a few reminders DataWind gave me ack. The inital delivery was promised in March 2012. After repeated mails, they finally sent me a mail dated mid-April that the delivery will be done between April 23 and May 7th.

Needless to say, there is no delivery done as yet. There are NO replies to mails sent to the Support ID. I dont think that is monitored at all. Their support number keeps on ringing.

I saw a reply from their support on this portal dated May 8th so I am trying my luck here.

Big question is when can I get delivery for the following two references ?

Hi , Datawind Ubislate delivery .I have the pbm I sent the cheque prepayenment on february but I am not getting any responce from the DATAWIND i lost my money that was the money which i have saved for 3yrs if i had that money i would paid my college fees for a semester.
