Dirty and smelly water
Respected sir/ma'am
Dirty and smelling water is supplied in our area.

This is to bring to your kind attention that i am a resident of a1 block, prashant vihar, sector-14, rohini, new delhi.
Here, we are facing trouble in mcd water supply, as the quality of mcd water supply is not good.
Water is dirty with bad smell. Even after filtering it through water filter it cannot be used.

Please check it out at the earliest.

    My name is domestic water connection kno. [protected] registered under name of mohid asraf. Address 9838, gali zamir wali nawab ganj, azad market. Delhi 110006. The said meter is up and running normally for several years. I just received an sms for a bill of 118 rs. When i downloaded the water bill from djb web site i was surprised to see that the meter reading has been remarked as mloc (Meter locked). Where as my water meter is never locked and we are always available. On previous occasions also i personally shown the meter to meter reader and assisted him for the reading. But today not body came and no meter reading was taken. Now i have received this bill. Kindly take a note and arrange to take the correct reading and issue a fresh bill accordingly.

      We have received the bill no:[protected] dt: 24/aug/17 with the amount of rs 2741.00 with unecessary charges, however till nov'16 we have paid all the bills time to time. After nov'16 my bill amount was 0 rs under delhi govt rebate scheme. My last to last bill was generated rs. 2205 and i couldn't receive my bill on mobile or by hardcopy this bill is totaly wrong because if you see my average consumption of water last 6 months or 1 year it is average and my last bill also generated (Rs. 500 around) this amount is also under rebate consumption from delhi govt.

      Kindly look into the matter seriously and correct our bill asap.

      We have already mark the copy of complaint to vigilance office of govt. Of india for the same case

        We, the residents, of rwa hari nagar ashram, area draw your kind attention that the delhi jai board has been supplying contaminated and filthy water through public taps in this locality for the last two-three months. It is worth mentioning that the water is contaminated with sewage water containing yellowish color with foul smell and suspended dirty particles. Thus, the water supply of this locality is considered not fit for drinking the water by the residents which is in contravention to safety guidelines of drinking water as formulated by quality council of india {qcl}
        Moreover, it is fundamental right to access the drinking water for life and health of public by civic authorities.
        The matter has been moved to the notice of delhi jal board by the residents from time to time but no any fruitful action seems to be taken by the concerned authorities.
        We, the residents, humbly, request your good self to look into this issue on ‘top priority basis’ and remedial steps be taken to provide drinkable water urgently to the residents.

          Sub - sewer is completely block in lblock lajpat naagr -2, area

          We, the residents, of l - block, lajpat nagar-2, area draw your kind attention that the sewage of l-block lajpat nager -2, is completely blocked in this locality for the last one month. It is worth mentioning that the sewer water is coming back into ground floors and basements of the area and the water is contaminated with sewage water containing yellowish color with foul smell and suspended dirty particles, which is very dangerous for the health of kids and elders persons.

          The matter has been moved to the notice of delhi jal board by the residents from time to time but no any fruitful action seems to be taken by the concerned authorities.
          We, the residents, humbly, request your good self to look into this issue on ‘top priority basis’ and remedial steps be taken to clear all sewage of our area urgently to the residents.

            Sir, delhi jal board send me bill of rs 56374.16 against k. No. [protected] on 29th july 2017 i went their office consumer contact centre on1st aug at saket but they didn't registered my complaint i told them my water connection will never used u can check it and survey the location but they didn't listen to me they said u have to pay the bill they never send us any bill or any notice letter before (Since2008) they never issued/installed meter when i got this notice first time i will come to know my kno they will not listen anything they said till nov 2015 the amount will be rebated after that u have to pay the amount. They have charged rs[protected] per month averaged bill how will i pay this huge amount when i am not using this connection i am 79yrs old person my wife is heart patient and handicapped my elder is also handicapped and he is not working and my younger son is only salaried person in my house (Earning rs 16000 per month) plz do the needful

              Hi sir/madam,

              I am one of the resident of babar pur shahdara. Our area is suffering from highly dirty and smelly water from past one week which is not even suitable for washing and cleaning purpose, no one can even think of drinking it. It smells like it comes from some dead bodies. Please help us in this matter since it becoming a serious issue and already made some persons hospitalized.
              We hope that our government will take some strict action in this matter so that we can proudly say that we are delhities

              There is a sever water issue in my locality, Rohtash Nagar, Shahdara-32. Firstly the water is so dirty and is creating a sever helath issues in my home particularly. Water is muddy and undrinkable because of which we are facing daily household problems too.

              Please take a immediate action regarding this issue and update the timing of clean water supply on twitter or other official sites.

                Whereas the last bill was for nil, latest bill[protected] dated 18-aug-17 demands rs. 2613/= including 1225.91 as current bill with arrears of 1386.38;
                There can not be any billing whatsoever for this ill-served connection in the absence of any supply of water and that too in view of aap govt.'s declared nil billing for such low/nil supply of water to this senior citizen retd. Doctor of central health services.

                  In kailash puri gali no-2, near sadh nagar palam, dirty/sewer water is coming in supply water pipe line from last 20 days. We dont have any other option for water source, and we have ask many people to help us to resolve this.in street no - 2, delho jal board has made a big hole which is not prepared yet and due to this dirty water is coming.

                  Solve this problem on urgent basis.

Regarding this i had registered the complaint on 1916 toll free number of djb over telephone on dated 31.07.2017 & the complaint number is[protected].. Regularly i have generate a reminder call to 1916 but unfortunately till date problem have not been resolve. All the families in our street are facing the problem.

                        Premises are lying vacant and locked. Water meters have been stolen by some miscreants
                        Break opening the back door of the house. Water connection have been plugged and now
                        There is no supply of water to the house. I tried to inform delhi jal board through their rms
                        But i was unable to do so as i was not able to login into consumer portal. I could not send any
                        Mail to delhi jal board as they have not provided any mail i'd for consumer complaints.
                        Toll free no 1916 when dialled is also show an invalid no. I am unable to visit delhi jal board
                        Office personally as i am presently residing in dehradun.

                          I had raised multiple complaints over phone and email too.

                          Djb team is raising average bill without checking meter reading.

                          As per their records our meter is in stp condition however it's working perfectly fine.

                            This is to bring to your notice that i had made a written complaint about the inflated water bill (For rs.6180/-), the letter was received by djb on[protected], for the above mentioned flat, which was closed for a year after my aunts death.

                            No action was taken then.

                            Again on[protected], i made another written complaint personally regarding the same i. E., after i received a bill for rs.9162/-. The letter was received on[protected]. It was mentioned on the bill that the meter was not working. Bill basis: provisional.

                            The meter reader mr. Rahul verma, signed on the bill on[protected] saying that the meter was working fine. I requested the official to amend the bill immediately. The official assured me that it would be done within a day or two.

                            Today is[protected] and i have received a sms saying that i have to pay rs.23, 000/- towards water bill.

                            The last payment i made was on[protected] against bill no[protected] for rs.1893/-. (For 2 months) as per their bill.

                            The house a lig flat with only one unmarried person living alone in the house at present, who is on tour most of the time, how do you explain a bill for rs. 23, 650 within a year (Un explainable).

                            Kindly help with the above.

                              Dear sir,

                              I send an email to ceo - djb for excess water bill. I have paid rs. 26.00 for 75 to 80 units, now they send me a bill of rs. 2686/- for 114 units in april 2017 and rs. 3792.00 for for 130 units in june 2017. I fail to understand the calculation of the bill. I also raise a complaints to grievance department vide grievance no. [protected] on dt. 19/8/2017 and [protected] on dt. 23/8/2017 but till date i have not received any solution. The concerned department automatically closed my complaint without any resolution.

                              You are requested to look into the matter and rectify the bill.

                                The water supply in my locality is super smelly and bad from past few days. Kindly see to it. It's not possible to use that water. Water condition is so bad that even after ro filteration water is not usable. It's too contaminated that our children get diseases from it. It's not done. We pay taxes and what we get in return is non drinkable water. This happens every 2-3 months water. Kindly help. We can't take this.

                                  Delhi jal board sewage in location d block d-78 gazipur village, east delhi 110096 are in very bad condition. The dirty water over flowing on the road which creating problem in foot flow. The case of fever patients are increasing day by day in this area. Bad smell n insects are increasingly to the disease. Kindly look after the problem on the priority.

                                    The delhi jal board officers sending me the message of bill payment. When the govt. Of india already giving the order of free water 650l per day.
                                    The water in my house used is not more than 500l. So i think they don't need to send the water bill on my number. But after this i recived sms form delhi jal board tp pay the bill amout of 6000. This is very unfair with common man. While the meter reader never come for taken the reading. And i think my water meter is not working properly since 2 months. But your meter reader not come here to take the reading. And sending the bill without information of meter. They always send the message of bill with addition of some amount every month.
                                    So please check the issue/problem i am facing right now.
                                    Please solve it soon as fast as possible and change my water bill meter which do not work properly.

                                      This the 3rd time, i am complaining about this. I am a resident of block 10/147, lodhi colony, new delhi -110003. We have moved to this house in march end and when we moved to this house, we got a new k. No ([protected]) for water supply from delhi jal board that everyone gets whosoever has a delhi jal board connection. Then we paid rs.250 for a new connection online and all was okay till then but then suddenly we start getting message for water bill with a different k. No. Which is ([protected]) which is also registered under my father's name but it is showing old bills since 2016 which is around 32, 000. We have already complaint about this to jal board (Govindpuri) but they are not responding about this. Even though, we have also complained about water meter which should be installed but still there is no confirmation for that too.

                                        I am writing this mail with great pain, as we complained several times regarding no water supply or supply of water after the midnight and before morning. Several complains have been made in this regard at your complaint no. 1916. For the last 4 months there is no water supply in the day time in gali no. 43 and 42 of beadon pura, karol bagh, new delhi - 110005. Water is mostly available only any time after 12 midnight and before 5-30 am. Sometime there was no water supply at all. Whereas plenty of water is being supplied across arya samaj road, reasons best known to djb. We cannot sleep due to erratic water supply. Moreover when water comes we are not sure whether it will be clean or dirty.

                                        We request you to look into this matter immediately and solve this big water problem in our area.
