Wrong Status Shown in Bill and charges

The meter reader mentioned the wrong current reading status as RDDT (Reading Detained) and previous reading status as 149 units. According to him the unit reading was not increasing but the fact is that we do not waste too much water and keep the use of water minimal. Our meter is working and in good condition but the meter reader reported previous units as 149 units which is also wrong and in fact as on today the actual reading is 147 units...

Yesterday Date 03.03.2017 bill generate by DJB for 26 units for the period of 09.11.2016 (44 units) to 02.03.2017 (70 units) ok status.
I am very surprises after check the water meter sowing the reading is 96.50 units,
I am request to please check the meter and issue new bill as per meter (Water meter no.[protected].

I hv 2 complaints prior this letter.its now 21 days I launched my first complain.please give fast response as the sewer water is coming out over the gali.For this reason the rain water drainage system is also choked.. And now problem of water logging is becoming very serious.

    My water connection no. [protected]. The pin number has been mentioned as 110092 instead of 110051.
    I am facing difficulties in proving as my residence address.
    Please change the pin code as 110051 as per registry documents already submitted at the time of mutation.
    This connection is in name of anand kumarr gupta and veena gupta.
    Our address is 142, upper ground flour, gagan vihar main, east delhi-110051. My e mail is [protected]@gmail.com and mob [protected].

    We are getting dirty water since last two weeks, and specially in evening some time it is black also.

    I have already sent a complaint but no action has been taken.

      From last four days, water is not being supplied, and the minimum amount of water that comes is totally black like that of street gutter. we contacted JE who hasn't helped at all. they aren't sending tanker in the chuna mandi, paharganj area in new delhi. we don't have water to perform household chores and to drink. this has been happening for a few days and we request you to kindly take an action on our problem.

        KNO No. [protected], Submitted an appl on 05 Aug 2011 for installation of new water meter sl. no. 32140. No action was initiated. Again submitted an appl on 12 Aug 2014 vide Diary No. 2357 at ZRO (SW) III. No action was done. Again, an appl was submitted vide Diary No. M-1407 on 20 Aug 16 at ZRO(SW) III. Meantime, a bill of Rs. 10, 468/- was sent on my name. As per the Govt Policy, 20, 000 ltr free water is to be supplied to a family in a month. It is to submit that a family consisting of three members do not require even 20, 000 ltr of water in a month. Now, the meter no. is endorsed on my water connection, however, the amount of Rs. 14747/- against pending water bill has not been waived. Request, waive the amount of bill I am entitled for.           We reside at Inder Enclave Phase -II, C -block, near Abhinandan vatika, Kirari Suleman Nagar, Delhi-86.
          We are facing lake of fresh drinking water.Supplied water is very polluted, sewege water & highly smale in the water.It is not a mine problem, its a colony's problem.
          Water pressure is also very poor.
          We request to you kindly diagnose the our problem as well as best possible to earlier & save health.

          Note-Stop the westage of water.Lots of water going in the drain.

            I paid my bill online (Rs 1368) on 23.1.17. Payment has gone out of my bank but I got no confirmation or receipt.
            Jal board website shows no record of my bill payment. I have tried to telephone for last four days but no one answers the phone. I tried to lodge a complaint on the Jal board website but it would not allow me to do so.
            This is avery bad experience because the customer can waste hours without getting any response from phone or website.

                This is to bring into your kind notice that I, Drig Pal Singh resident of WZ 1101 Nangal Raya New Delhi 110046, during the repairing of the main water pipeline in my gali where my residence falls, sewer pipeline broke accidently by the repairing people of DJB contractor as a result the flow of the water in other contents off the sewer pipeline that connects to the main sewer got blocked. And some of the water oozed out from the pipeline leading to wetting the surrounding portion. There is a possibility of damage of walls of surrounding building.

                It is therefore requested that your good office may kindly be quick in the matter for repairing the same so that the surrounding may be saved.

                    sir perticulary our street water pipe line has been damaged due to same we are consuming sewer water with supply line, we are using same water for drink and cooking, you can check it with your team, water is very smeelling it is very hard to smell same. we are under health threaten, kindly take a necessary and fast step.

                    This became a big problem for us as we have not received water bill monthly basis. The department send the bill after 4-6 month. After such period the bill amount is increased too much which in not easy to pay by a middle class family at one time. Kindly send the bill regularly and in proper manner so that we can pay that amount easily.

                      Sir I would like to pay your attention towards the drainage cleaning of the back lane of F-7 - F-8 Green Park Extn New Delhi -110016. The manhole is situated at the dead end of the lane As such there is little /no supply of water from the dead end thereby causing accumulation of heap of silt, which in turn obstructs the flow of sewage water frequently...

                        Writing again as my complaint done before on Jan'14 2017 has not been addressed yet.

                        Following is the complaint letter:

                        Dear Concerned

                        I am a resident of Gali No-17, Sant Garh, Tilak Nagar. Our area has been facing continuous issues of water availability for the last 11-12 months. There are days when there is no water supply available and if at all, the supply is there, it comes around no fixed time - that too in the night only. Sometimes, supply comes at 1 am..sometimes at 2.30 am...sometimes at 4 am- neither there is regularity of supply nor water is available even once during the day. Because of this, all working people living in the street have to stay awake or get up late every night around 1am, 2am etc. in order to check if the supply has come or not. This is a sheer example of harassment for the working people whose sleep gets disturbed every night.

                        For the same, I have made multiple written and verbal complaints at our MLA's office (Shri Jarnail Singh) and spoken/met myself the following people:

                        1. Shri Jarnail Singh (MLA - Tilak Nagar Constituency, Aam Aadmi Party)
                        2. Suraj - P.A. to MLA
                        3. Gurmukh Singh - Area Representative, Aam Aadmi Party)
                        4. Ravi - Junior Engineer

                        I have even tweeted the problem hoping resolution will come, but nothing has changed.

                        All my calls and complaints have not seen any results as the problem is persistent. Everytime, we have been given promises/ assurance that the problem will be resolved in a few days...in a few months etc...but every effort so far seems to be in vain.

                        Hoping that through this medium, may be the issue will be heard and addressed at the earliest possible.

                          I have been complaining about the incorrect meter readings since last 6 months and have been asked to get my meter checked on my own taking to Lodhi road and paying Rs 150.
                          It is not possible that i am using so much water that every month my bill comes to Rs 4000.
                          Have registered multiple complaints against the same with no respite. I hope this complaint lands in the right hands

                          As stated to the subject matter above I want to say that the quality of DJB water in our colony { Mahindra Park, Uttam Nagar } is not so good. There is always a foul smell is coming from the water which resembles exactly to Sewage Water . Also the water is not so clean as it should be .

                            For K no.[protected] DJB has been raising a bill of RS(-)83 for last more than 8 months.Now today they have sent me a bill of Rs 316 and in current meter reading entry says /RDDT but bill raised for 7 units of consumption. The meter is functional but no water is coming in our connection since last many months. Complaints to DJB fell on deaf ears.They gave me number of JE Sh. Man singh to contact but he never ever picked my phone. After several attempts I stopped. Now again it is same thing.
                            No water but bills are raised.
                            If they have not stopped free water scheme then also there can be no bills?

                                I am one of the resident of Mahavir Nagar/Krishna park Ext which comes under the Tilak Nagar area. Our area is suffering from highly dirty and smelly water from past one week which is not even suitable for washing and cleaning purpose, no one can even think of drinking it. It smells like it comes from some dead bodies. Please help us in this matter since it becoming a serious issue and already made some persons hospitalised.

                                    Sir,

                                    I am residing in Kashmiri Bagh, Kishan Ganj, Delhi-7, I received a bill on line dt 17/02/2017 against K.N. [protected] in favour of SUWARAN LAL CHONA. It is domestic connection. I received a bill of Rs. 1065 in which consumption is showing 50 units. with STP status. It is to inform you that ground floor, no body is leaving, so that is a reason meter is not using. But in a meter showing 50 units. Why should I pay this huge amount where only 5 - 10 units are consumed in domestic area only. Please look into the matter and correct the bill accordingly.
