I am avinash again going to complaint against delhi jal board. My first complaint is still pending but today dated 15th may 2016 i got water for drinking its totally smell like gutter water. My k. No is [protected] name of laxmi thakur living in arjun park, delhi.
Its literally very difficult to express which type of problems face by us without drinking water in these days.

I feel u understand the feeling.

    Dear Sir,
    I am residing here in West Patel Nagar from past 1 and half year in 24 Block with my family. There we had not complaint regarding water supply and quality of that water. But recently we shifted here in 32 Block, West Patel Nagar and now the quality of water is very bad. Most of my family member suffered from diarrohea and vomitting after drinking that water instead of having RO at home. Please check the TDS value of the supplied water and also quality of the supply. My family member have to wake up at 4 AM in morning but still the quality of water at that time is same. Sometimes it comes with dirt and sometime it comes like yellowish in colour. Please look into this matter as per health is concerned.

      I live in rohini sector 5..in b-9 block in plots..i have a two side open house..in the backside the neighbors right in front of our house always forget to switch off the water motor and water flows like anything the whole night. This happens almost all the days kindly look into this matter. In the front part of my house the neighbors right in front fill their cooler twice a day n forget to close the tap a lot water is spilled all over the place and they don't even realise. This happens everyday twice without fail. Kindly look into this matter.
      A lot of water is wasted in these two houses. And looking at the condition of water in delhi and india some strict action must be taken against them. Kindly check into this as this happens almost everyday.

Either the meter reading is wrong and perhaps meter reading is noted sitting in the office or there is some fault in meter. I request you may please issue a new bill against the K NO.           Hello,

          Recently, I have received water bill of Rs. 2059.55 for the period 2/March/2016 to 04/May/2016. I regularly pay my water bills in stipulated time. This is the first time I have recieved the water bill of such a huge amount.

          I live in DDA flats at Janak Puri with my small family of 3. We use water very judiciously and try to save water by storing it. Therefore, I do not think that we have consumed more that the prescribed amount of 700 liters and that too within such a short duration. My neighbours have received bill of Rs. 0 and its only I who have received bill with such huge amount.

          I request you to kindly look into this. Please find attached bill copy. Please find below details.

              Delhi Jal Board — Dirty Smelly Water | Area R block Khirki Extension, Malviya Nagar

              respected sir/madam

              I am one of the resident of R block khirki Ext Malviya Nagar. Our area is suffering from highly dirty and smelly water from past one week which is not even suitable for washing and cleaning purpose, this area has suffering that problem often. We want a permanent solution of this serious problem.

                I am a resident of house no.153 in d block, new rajinder nagar. I am facing severe shortage of water supply for the last few weeks.In fact, all the five houses facing the main shanker road in d block, new rajinder nagar are facing the problem of growing instances of insufficient water supply.

                There are two banks and an office of the central govt. Undertaking (Lic) in these houses which are providing public utility services. They are also experiencing lot of hardship owing to inadequate water supply.

                During the last few days the problem has aggravated a lot. Please look into this matter and do the needful at the earliest.

                  Hi,

                  I have taken new water connection in month of october 2015 and paid all the new water connection and other necessary charges. My last payment was of inr 2015 on 07-nov-2015. Since then i am out of delhi and even not connected my flat for water supply (Wish to do when i will return to my residence) but for my surprise i received a new water bill of inr 2120 of dated 29-mar-2016. I am not sure if i have not used even a drop of water as i have not done my water supply connection with my flat yet so how much new bill is generated? Adding to that there is some waiver till some certain amount of water.

                    I am writing to you because i am very disappointed to delhi jal board. I am one of the resident of r block, khirki extention, malviya nagar, delhi110017. From last weak we all are suffering from dirty and smelly water, people has suffering from vomiting and loose motion becoz of that, i already complained for that. This area faced this problem often, but again and again the problem remain same.

                    I hope you taking action immediately, other wise many people and children will be hospitalize.

                      Hi,

                      We got a new water meter on 22-Dec-15 before which all pending dues were cleared. We received 2 bills:
                      First one dated - 20th Feb 2016 (Bill Amount 72/-)
                      Second bill - 27th April 2016 (Bill Amount 132/- along with late fee 55/-)

                      There was no meter reading done for any of the bill and the current consumption is far too less as shown up in bill.

                      When the first bill came up, we brought up this in Notice of officials ans we were advised to wait for next bill. The second bill had similar pattern along with late fee charges which should not have come in first place.

                      Kindly take due action and generate the correct bill.

                        Dirty and stinky water
                        Hi,
                        Atish verma staying in h. No. 68, mungesh pur, bawana, delhi-110039. The concern i want to highlight here is related to the water supplied by our so called “delhi jal board”. The quality of water they supply is really awful. It stinks, bad in test, & colored…in one word its pethetic. I really don’t understand why our civic amenities are so careless about their work, whereas they are the one who should be more concern about these things. The use of such quality of water can lead to many deceases and can cause severe health related problems. One can survive without food for days but without water. By the end of the month we receive the water bills for our uses, which unfortunately we could not due to “super fine quality” of the water supplied to us.

                        As i can see this efficient board (Djb) have already 10 complaints against them hence it can be easily guessed how effectively they are providing services all consumers in delhi?

                        Request you to take necessary action against the same asap.

Sir many time we give complaint to our area MLA but he cant do anything sir .sir we are facing this problem for last 1 year. The lane have not been changed near 11 year.                             The water flow is not coming in the pipeline for three month, we are closely monitoring. The consuming water bill is being prepare and send the sms on register mobile with consuming single drop from the connected line. We have to arrange the from other location which is too far from our house.

                                From the above statement it is clear that i have paid rs.2675/ by cheque as at s. No.1
                                Bill at s. No. 2 3 and 4 shows negative dues.
                                Bill no at s. No. 5 shows total bill of rs.5432/- with arrears of 5046/- and adjustment of 385.97

                                When the bill at s. No. 2, 3 and 4 is negative i am not able to understand how come the bill at
                                S. No. 5 shows arrreas of 5046.32/- nor is the details of the arrears given

                                I have mailed to delhi jal board regarding the discrepensasies. I received a e. Mail saying that the matter
                                Is closed and in the bill at s. No. 6 they have added the amount of rs. 5432/-
                                There is no details of how such arrears has arrived
                                Demanding such huge payment for not fault of mine is making it painful for myself and to make such huge payment for an ordinary
                                Citizen is very difficult.

                                  I am Gopal Biswas. I live in G-118, Gali no.-8, Vishwas Park, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi -110059.
                                  I had paid my last water bill at the mid of the February and now here bill comes at the month between March to April and the total amount is Rs-1821. and the kind authorities send me the addition of arrears charge in water bill is Rs-1029. that is not fair charge.
                                  I have paid all my previous water bill . why should u add arrears charges. My k no. is [protected] and bill id is[protected] u can check.
                                  I request to the kind authorities that please cut my arrears charge as soon as possible . and hope u will look into this matter seriously. i would be thankful to u i[censored] look into this matter.

                                      We are facing a problem of bad water supply in lal kuan rod gran area delhi 6 . Sir most of the time there is no water supply in my area and by chance its come than the taste of water is not suitable for drinking there is smell in its like cever or colour like toilet .

                                        Irregular water supply.
                                        Respected Sir,
                                        We are totally five hundred families residing in our locality. We are facing a severe problem of growing instances of insufficient water supply for the last three months in our locality.
                                        But during the last three months the problem has increased to a lot due to less supply of water. Because of less supply of water there is a growing instance of disputes among our local people. Many times we have to return home with our empty vessels.
                                        We have already given many complaints to our local authority. They are always giving us empty promises and doing nothing. So kindly am requesting you to look into this matter personally. If you do the needful then I shall be very much thankful to you.
