Hi,

We got a new water meter on 22-Dec-15 before which all pending dues were cleared. We received 2 bills:
First one dated - 20th Feb 2016 (Bill Amount 72/-)
Second bill - 27th April 2016 (Bill Amount 132/- along with late fee 55/-)

There was no meter reading done for any of the bill and the current consumption is far too less as shown up in bill.

When the first bill came up, we brought up this in Notice of officials ans we were advised to wait for next bill. The second bill had similar pattern along with late fee charges which should not have come in first place.

Kindly take due action and generate the correct bill.

    Dirty and stinky water
    Hi,
    Atish verma staying in h. No. 68, mungesh pur, bawana, delhi-110039. The concern i want to highlight here is related to the water supplied by our so called “delhi jal board”. The quality of water they supply is really awful. It stinks, bad in test, & colored…in one word its pethetic. I really don’t understand why our civic amenities are so careless about their work, whereas they are the one who should be more concern about these things. The use of such quality of water can lead to many deceases and can cause severe health related problems. One can survive without food for days but without water. By the end of the month we receive the water bills for our uses, which unfortunately we could not due to “super fine quality” of the water supplied to us.

    As i can see this efficient board (Djb) have already 10 complaints against them hence it can be easily guessed how effectively they are providing services all consumers in delhi?

    Request you to take necessary action against the same asap.

    I am a resident of Faiz Road, Karol, We are getting dirty and smelly water for the last one week. It is not good for any purpose.

    Kindly address this issue very seriously as it can lead to many life threatening diseases.

      The problem of bad water supply in my area gali shaban lal kuan road gran delhi 110006 . Sir many time we give complaint to our area MLA but he cant do anything sir .sir we are facing this problem for last 1 year. The lane have not been changed near 11 year. Sir we people thing it fully damaged so my humble request to change the water supply lane of my area.

        The water flow is not coming in the pipeline for three month, we are closely monitoring. The consuming water bill is being prepare and send the sms on register mobile with consuming single drop from the connected line. We have to arrange the from other location which is too far from our house.

        Please do the needful at your end and resolve our problem.

          Dear sir i am resident of b1a /5b we are getting very bad water like crap one zonal emginer of west visited here he seved us notice attached with this letter we are ready to change our pipes but he has sayibg we have to change extended sewarge pippes also delhi jal borad charging 600 sewarge charges in every bill so why have to do it privately this work as per his notice we are ready to do his reqirement but sewarage work should we done by delhi jal board

            From the above statement it is clear that i have paid rs.2675/ by cheque as at s. No.1
            Bill at s. No. 2 3 and 4 shows negative dues.
            Bill no at s. No. 5 shows total bill of rs.5432/- with arrears of 5046/- and adjustment of 385.97

            When the bill at s. No. 2, 3 and 4 is negative i am not able to understand how come the bill at
            S. No. 5 shows arrreas of 5046.32/- nor is the details of the arrears given

            I have mailed to delhi jal board regarding the discrepensasies. I received a e. Mail saying that the matter
            Is closed and in the bill at s. No. 6 they have added the amount of rs. 5432/-
            There is no details of how such arrears has arrived
            Demanding such huge payment for not fault of mine is making it painful for myself and to make such huge payment for an ordinary
            Citizen is very difficult.

            Incorrect meter reading taken by meter reader. Some one else reading is put on my connection K no. [protected] (old WCN 31146). Pls get the correct reading which is 49 and give the correct bill. My mobile no. is [protected].

              I am Gopal Biswas. I live in G-118, Gali no.-8, Vishwas Park, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi -110059.
              I had paid my last water bill at the mid of the February and now here bill comes at the month between March to April and the total amount is Rs-1821. and the kind authorities send me the addition of arrears charge in water bill is Rs-1029. that is not fair charge.
              I have paid all my previous water bill . why should u add arrears charges. My k no. is [protected] and bill id is[protected] u can check.
              I request to the kind authorities that please cut my arrears charge as soon as possible . and hope u will look into this matter seriously. i would be thankful to u i[censored] look into this matter.

                  We are facing a problem of bad water supply in lal kuan rod gran area delhi 6 . Sir most of the time there is no water supply in my area and by chance its come than the taste of water is not suitable for drinking there is smell in its like cever or colour like toilet .

                    Irregular water supply.
                    Respected Sir,
                    We are totally five hundred families residing in our locality. We are facing a severe problem of growing instances of insufficient water supply for the last three months in our locality.
                    But during the last three months the problem has increased to a lot due to less supply of water. Because of less supply of water there is a growing instance of disputes among our local people. Many times we have to return home with our empty vessels.
                    We have already given many complaints to our local authority. They are always giving us empty promises and doing nothing. So kindly am requesting you to look into this matter personally. If you do the needful then I shall be very much thankful to you.

                      Sir, i sanjeev kumar Consumer Kno: [protected] have received the massage on dated 4th May 2016 that your water bill is Rs-10799/-.
                      I want to clear you in B block, Patel Garden, Kakrola Mor. New Delhi-59, earlier there are no supply of water in this Gali. From last one month water pipe is connected to main water supply pipe, so now water is coming. My water meter is ok but i am not using the suppiy water yet now.then how come the huge amount of money. You should work properly so that we people not face any difficulties.

                        Iam a resident of Sri Nagar street no. 1 back portion, shakur basti near Rani Bagh. I would like to draw yur kind attention regarding wastage of water in our locality. There is one lady who daily used to wash the road outside her house twice a day with a pipe. She had a boaring connection fitted with the motor so the flow of water is also very fast. She is wasting fresh water like this. I request you to please look into this matter as early as possible. Such people should be punished or charge fine on them. Regards

                          Please note that we thei am resident of d-10, prathviraj road, adarsh nagar, delhi-110033 have been getting dirty water supply for past few days. The color of the water is yellow and it has foul smell. This has unfortunately resulted in diarrhea for our family members . We request you to kindly take the necessary action as soon as posible as we also have babies in the house who have stomach infection and are suffering from diarrhea.

                                Please note that we the residents of A 25 Naraina Vihar New Delhi have been getting dirty water supply for past few days. The color of the water is yellow and it has foul smell. This has unfortunately resulted in diarrhea for our family members and neighbors.                                 Their is no supply of Delhi Jal Board water since 06:00 AM on 28.04.2016 hence, their is a great problem as Hindu Rao Hospital is a 980 beeded General Hospital and this is causing inconvenient to the patients.

                                Urgent attention is needed for patient care.

I and other resident of this gali are facing low pressure and for a short period water supply problem since the new water pipe line lay down. My house is at the end of water pipe line and water pipe line is laying is not properly. We all are suffer this, kindly look into the matter and solve our problem at the earliest as the mercury is shooting high.

                                  The water meter installed for flat no. Ed-5c, pitampura, madhuban chowk has been stolen today (26.04.2016). The flat is at 2nd floor whereas the meter is installed at common place at ground floor (Near sewage pipe line). Please look in to the matter to provide a new meter for the same.

                                    DJB is worst department, I sick to say that today 01 May at 11pm I had sewerage water in supply, my whole tank at terrace got contaminated and stinking badly. At midnight I emptied whole tank and left with no water.
                                    This is very pathetic and sick to say that I feel ashamed to live in delhi but DJB people are shameless.
                                    I kept sample water in a bottle for verification, let's see how serious DJB will take this matter. I will sue them in consumer court.

                                      This is to inform you that i am very fed up with your billing department i have a connection at the address bougainvilla apartments, sector b pocket 3, 3242a third floor, vasant kunj, new delhi-110070 . Since last 2 years i have not received any bill from delhi jal board, please tell me that who is responsible to pay a huge amount infact this is not our mistake this is delhi jal board's mistake that they are not sending us bill on time and it is too much that since last 2 years they didn't send any bill to the above mentioned address who will pay delhi jal boards employee. We can't becoz we don't have so much money to give for their mistake.

                                        Dear sir,
                                        It is bring to your notice that my kno # is [protected] in which the water bill was generated rs. 2105/- for the period of 26/03/2016 to 20/04/2016 (26 days) which is unjustibable/unrealistic. Since my meter is in working condition and this much of conumption never done by us. You can see from 2005 to dill date my billing/payments history, always before due date i was deposited the amount and never face abnormal bills. One year back your executives also replaced my meter and after that i was also paid my bills very smoothly without any hesitation. So upto 25/03/2016 my bills was cleared and no outstanding was there. How in 26 days how it can possible this much of consumption was done. This is completely abnormal and very clear to you i am not in a position to pay for such a huge amounts towards this bill.
                                        So you are requested to verify in any condition from my home you can not get this much o[censored]se. We are very sincere and causes about water and i assure you this much os use we were not done. So again i requst you please check at your end and revise this bill and confirm back finally thee nw bill amount to be paid.

                                        2/3 times i was complained regarding this but no response/actions. it seems that they are raising this incorrect bills to disturbe the consumers. we donot get any water from 2005 but still my connection was there and now also they were not giving supply of sufficient water then how we can use this huge amt of water. this is 100% incoorect billing, pl go thru and rectify the same.
