Sewage Blocking Dear Sir/Madam, We (resident of 2/122, Trilok Puri Delhi - 110091) have been requesting cleaning of sewage / drainage in sewage line of 2/122, Trilok Puri, Delhi - 110091 but there is no one to take action on this. Now the condition is, the sewage water is flowing and getting accumulated all over the road/house. Now it started smelling very badly, giving rise to insects and mosquitoes. The raining season has started and there are more chances of neumonia, malaria and dangu to be spread. We have complained many times to people of Nagar Nigam in local office, but no action has been taken till now.       Dear Sir, I am resident of C-45/Z-3, Dilshad Garden, Delhi - 110095. For the past many month we are getting Supply of Drinking Water mixed with SEWAGE Water. Despite repeated requests and complaints including by C Block RWA to the concerned authorities no action has been taken so far. Needless to explain this type of water is extremely dangerous and vulnerable to health hazards. It is therefore requested to take necessary steps. L. M. Pandey

        SIR/MADAM, I have east delhi customer KNO - [protected]. my water meter are working properly and current reading is 471. but last 2 years i have paid heavy amount based on incorrect bill (STA meter reading).               I am having a water connection with DJB with KNO - [protected]. I have recently received bill for Feb'14 to Oct'14. In the bill, reading as on 18 Oct'14 has been shown as 502 showing only 41 units consumption over 8 months. Whereas in actual, it was 695 on that date, meaning 234 units consumption.Thus, the bill for these 8 months is very less, and in coming months, consumption will fall in higher slabs, resulting in inflated bill. There has been no reading of this meter since many months by DJB officers and it seems the reading given in the bill is an estimated one. It is requested to correct the bill as per actual reading so that I can make payment accordingly.

                  Dear Sir, 1. In my premises at B-17, Amar Colony, Lajpat Nagar, fully functional water meters were replaced by Ms. SPML Ltd on 30.1.14. Upto date payment in respect of old meters readings stands made. No bills respecting new meters were issued ever. When I checked on internet arbitrary bills were shown as raised. Nearly Rs.1, 85, 000/- respecting K No. [protected] till May' 2014 and over Rs.4000/- respecting K No.[protected] also till May 2014. 2. I gave representation to the ZRO on 22.9.14 and also met her four times. I visited SPML Office several times. Then spoke to the Jt Dir. Despite that the new bills till Dec 2014 are billed arbitrarily - NOT based on actual readings but arbitrarily. Respecting K No. [protected] old bill with surcharge has also been added as arrears. 3. From 30.1.14 to 11.10.14 the whole premises was inhabited by only two persons - myself and my wife. Now it is inhabited by four persons only. 4.                     This is regarding Bill No[protected] dt. 04th aug, 2013 received for payment of Rs.2874/- on average basis with (89 units) for the period from 31thmarch, 2013 to 30thjuly, 2013 with due date 21aug, 2013.Here, I have to say something My new water meter no.77268 was installed on 26th nov, 2012.Which is in office record on D form with reference no.5204 dt.26th nov, 2013.I have already sent a letter on 26th, aug, 2013 in this connection to your pashim vihar office Delhi and I got receipt copy also.I do not understand any reason to get any response from concern person and meter reading also taken on regular basis by your staff.I remember last reading taken in the month on november, 2014.Please take necessary action in this regard and send the bill in some installment.It will be easy for me to pay.                       BILL No:[protected] dated O9 Dec 2014 ( WATER BILL) KNO –[protected] Dear Sir, Please refer your above Bill. I have the following to say :- 1. New Water Meter was installed on 26 Sep 2013. 2. No bill has sent to me till now. 3. I Checked from net and came to know that one bill has been raised on me from 28 Sept 2013 to 01 Dec 2014 ( For 14 Months ). 4. Bill has been raised for an assumed consumption. Actual Meter reading has not been taken by your meter reader. 5. The actual reading as recorded in the Meter on 11 Dec 2014 is 262.05 KL ( Snap Shot attached for your ready reference) 6. On the basis of above reading the Chargeable Amount works out to be Rs.3550/- only 7. Amount charged by you is for an consumption of 315 KL, and the bill has been raised for an Amount of Rs 5536/- which is wrong. 8. You have charged the Meter rent also, where as you have replaced the Meter at your own and taken back the meter installed and purchased by me. Hence I am unable to understand that why the Meter rent is being charged from me. In view of the above you are requested to revise the bill for the actual consumption of water as per Meter Reading. Please note that I shall not be paying the bill till the revised and correct bill is not sent to me. Hence request you to take immediate action to resolve the issues enabling me to pay for actual consumption.                               Dear Sir, Sewerage is choking badly in Gali No.3 Near panchayat Ghar Opp. Village Kondli, Delhi-110096 for the last three/four month, resulting in coming out and spreading of sewerage water on the Nali and creating filthy atmosphere. Authority concerned in not caring to solve this long-pending problem in spite of makig repeated complaints.                                   Dear Sir/Mam, I would like to bring in to your notice that I am a permanent resident of Delhi and never seen such a pathetic situation of water supply since my childhood. This is first time, we have been forced to think are we living in capital of India??? From past few months, we are getting very dirty and smelly water in our inhouse water taps. However, in the last few weeks we received clean water as well... but again we are getting Sewer water, we can not use this water for any purpose neither for washrooms... Total wastage of water and electricity...because we do not get water without electric motors...so electricity would also be wasted along with the water... And at the end, no one would be accountable, we have to pay heavy bills for both electricity and water...AAP says they have reduce the charges of water...what's the benefit of reducing charges if we are not getting clean water... Modi ji is running swach bharat abhiyan and we are getting dirty water in our houses...these political parties are good for nothing...situation of delhi is getting worsen... I would request you highlight this issue on priority to delhi jal board...being citizen of Delhi it's our right to get the clean water...obviously we are paying huge amount of bills to the government...kindly notify delhi jal board about this...                                     Further to my grievance below:- Grievance Id: GRV/STZ/2014/041744 Subject: Blockage of Sewer Line- G-79 Saket Grievance Filed Date and Time: 11/20/14 7:24 AM Zone: South Saket New Delhi[protected] Submitted by: Commodore VKr Wadhwa VSM After filing of above complaint, the DJB cleared the line by removing bricks from the sewer on 26 Nov 14, as a portion of sewer had collapsed inside leading to blockage. The overflowing sewer water had also entered the main water supply line of DJB, a major health hazard. Although the blockage of the sewer line in the service and back lanes of G- 79 Saket New Delhi- 110017 has been cleared, the main sewer has still not been repaired. The remaining part of sewer can also collapse any time, as also seen by the area Zonal Engineer who had promised to take expeditious action to replace/repair the sewer. Regret to state that despite lapse of almost two weeks no action has been taken by DJB/MCD to resolve the problem or find permanent solution to repeated blockage problem. It seems, the authorities are deliberately going slow for resolution of this problem. I therefore request you to please take an immediate and urgent remedial action before the situation gets worse.                                       Respected sir/madam, I am a residence of 13-C Gali no.2, Defence Enclave Part-II, Mohan Garden, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi: 110059. I would like to bring your attention about billing problems. My bill not come to time to time because my area code is wrong, I have already submitted a complaint in Delhi Jal Board but area code is not corrected yet and one more bill I have also received some time ago bill amount is about 12, 000/- rupees. My billing amount is also so hike but my consumption unit is 74 only, and also water supply of our area is very poor, sometime 4 to 5 days water supply does not come.
