      The recurrent faulty inflated bills of DJB have become a source of frustration for us. The previous bill( no.[protected] showed the meter reading as taken on 1st of July, when it was actually taken on 1st of August (meter reading 5910). This has led to showing increased consumption for a shorter period. As a result we have been charged in the higher consumption category. A complaint was filed on 14th of August 2014. I have not received any intimation regarding the action taken. The new bill dated 4th November 2014 ( Bill no:[protected] shows meter reading date as 1st October 2014, but there is no meter reading. There is also the false observation that the meter was locked. We have been charged for 46 units. The actual meter reading today Ii.e. 4th November 2014 is 5944. The faulty meter readings is unnecessarily producing large bills despite our minimal use. Also such repeated occurrences are very frustrating. That nothing has been done despite our complaint speaks of the apathy of DJB.

      i contacted the Zonal officer at Subash nagar today. He looked into the matter and took steps to resolve the issue. The new bill was available online by evening.
      i would like to record my appreciation of this fact.

          Hi I want my meter reading again and need my water bill again because Reading has not been done & i got a bill of huge amount which i never expected from DJB... I cant pay the bill without reading .. So please send someone from the department to get recent reading and obliged . Kindly take action soon or Do let me know how to proceed further ..               We have been installed a new meter in our house, since then the water pipe is blocked, seems to be some problem while installing the meter. Please look into this and kill the issue.                 Hello team, This is to bring in to your notice that the water supply in west delhi location : Nangal Raya, inside commercial complex Nangal Raya New Delhi-110046 has been worse in the past 15-20 days. Water smells like "nala ka pani". " rat / This is the issue with many o[censored]s staying in Block WZ[protected]. Mainly Jhulaha Basti area from more than a month now. Kindly look into the issue as many of the people has fallen sick, ill due to this. thanks...

                Hello Team, wants to register a complaint against the Delhi Jal Board because the sewage clogged and over flow at WZ 1008 - WZ 1018 Pankha road Nangal Raya where stinky smell and sewage water overflow. People have to wear a mask and extra sleeper to go and in every time from the house and maximum problems for the children who are little in age and daily in-out situations from home to schools.

                  Hi, I registered a complaint with Delhi Jal board and asked them to do the required correction in my water bill and provide me with correct bill so that I can make the payment of correct bill. However even after submitting a letter with all supported documents they havent taken any action against the same. I even registered a complaint with djb customer care and even visited their office many times. Still nothing has been done and it has been more than a month now. Can anyone please look into this and take corrective action against them. Thanks.

                        Respected sir/madam I am one of the resident of A-50, Shayam Vihar, Phase-I, Near Dinpur, Najafgarh, which comes under the Najafgarh area. Our area is suffering from highly dirty and smelly water from past 2-3 months which is not even suitable for washing and cleaning purpose, no one can even think of drinking it. It smells like it comes from some dead bodies. Please help us in this matter since it becoming a serious issue and already made some persons hospitalised.                           Dear Sir, K No. [protected] This is to bring to your kind notice that we are the owner of flat no. 29-C, DG-II, Vikaspuri, New Delhi. We are not receiving the bill since last one year ( since august 2013 ). I being a senior citizen is following the officials of Paschim Vihar zone but all in vain. It has been almost 2-3 months that I am visiting officials of Paschim Vihar zone but inspite of my efforts we are not able to get a simple thing ie. my bill which I have to pay. I am surprised with such services of DJB where a citizen wants to pay the amount but not able to get the bill. I am a retired officer from private services and if tomorrow a lumpsum bill is being sent to my house, how would I be able to pay it.                                     I am a resident of East Krishna Nagar (East Delhi, 110051). Since last 1 week the quality of water supply in our area is not up to the mark. Even after RO process, the water is not fit for consumption. Initially it tasted bitter but with each passing day the problem is growing more adverse. Now a foul smell can also be sensed. Even the residents of our adjoining areas viz Radhey Puri are also facing the same problem. I urge the respective authorities to look into the matter as soon as possible and do the needful.

                                      Kindly refer to provisional bill nos.[protected] dated 15 July 2014 and[protected] dated 17 October 2014, (New Key No. [protected]) wherein you have charged water and sewerage consumption between of 20-30 KL per month for the period 22 March 2014 to 17 October 2014. It is stated that earlier the consumption was between 0-10 KL per month only.Even in the earlier provisional bills the consumption was heavily charged and the same was rectified after taking the meter reading and the excess payment made by us was adjusted in the subsequent bills for 1 year. This may be verified in your records. Hence, it is requested that till the proper meter reading is taken the provisional bill may be calculated at consumption between 0-10 KL per month. After receiving the revised bill for the period 22 March 2014 to 17 October 2014 the payment will be made accordingly.Hoping to receive the revised bill at the earliest.
