Sub: Cancellation of order No.: 0277468 and Customer Code: 647311 due to Delay
To all personnel concerned
This is to inform you that two Months back I planned to get a personal Laptop and I consulted my friends & colleague regarding which brand to go far. Though, everyone suggested not to opt for DELL as it is infamous for its poor after sales services. Even then, I decided to purchase DELL because of its better configuration and cost effectiveness.
In the first week of Feb, 2009, I placed an order for Blue Colored DELL Inspirion1525 at Ms MEGAHERTZ, Lamington Road, Mumbai, with Mr Rakesh Mehta (Dealer) who said that BLUE color was not available with them and asked me to wait for 3-4 days. There after, he kept on promising me that it will be available in the coming week. Like this, I waited for one month and at the end of one month he said that they were not sure when it will be available.
Since they were not able to specify the reason o[censored]navailability of particular color, I contacted DELL Customer Care at Banglore and asked what was the problem with Blue color. I was told that DELL has stopped producing the model I was looking for. I was informed that DELL has launched a new Model INSPIRION 15 which has better configuration as compare to INPIRION 1525.
On 28th of Feb, 2009, I placed an order for INSPIRION 15 with Mr Shaikh Rashid at CROMA STORE, Bellapur, Mumbai. I deposited the whole amount to Mr. Muffazal at CROMA store Bandra West Mumbai. (ORDER NO.: 0277468 and Customer Code: 647311). They promised me that it will be delivered within 10 to 12 working days.
Surprisingly, even after 5 days of Booking, my order status did not show confirmation of Payment. Again I contacted Customer Care and at last they confirmed the payment.
On 10th of March, it is showing the Estimated Delivery Date is 23rd March, 09 with subject to change without notice.
It is really a horrible experience of my life time to get one product in two months (Delivery date yet not confirm). I admit that it was my mistake that I did not follow my colleague’s suggestion.
For your kind information, I'm a busy Doctor and don’t have enough time to spare for such Unprofessional Response.
Now, I have finally decided that I would rather choose another brand i.e. HP or any other but not DELL.
Hence, I would request you to advice me HOW TO CANCLE MY ORDER IMMEDIATELY. Since, this is the response before sale then what will be the after sale service, it really scares me.
At last I would like to intimate all DELL Authority to cancel my ORDER IMMEDIATELY OR ELSE I WILL BE FORCE TAKE SOME LEGAL HELP FOR THE SAME.
Furthermore, I would like to say that I would not accept any Apologies, Rather, I do expect some Sincere and Appropriate action from DELL .

WE HAVE REMITTED PAYMENT FOR PURCHASE OF LAPTOP ON 17.06.09 THROUGH RTGS CONSIDERING THAT YOUR COMPANY PROVIDE THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE AS YOUR BRAND NAME INDICATE ITSELF. BUT IT IS RATHER HEART BEATING AND SURPRISING THAT AFTER LAPSE OF 8 DAYS TILL THIS DATE, I DID NOT GET DELIVERY OF LAPTOP EITHER THROUGH FAULT OF THE COMANY OR DEFECTIVE COURIER SERVICE ENGAGED BY YOU.
I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THE CURRENT SITUATION AND REQUEST YOU TO PLEASE IMMEDIATELY INTERVENE IN THE MATTER SO THAT IMAGE OF YOUR COMPANY IN MY OPINON MAY NOT BE FURTHER DETERIORATED.
HOPING FOR THE BEST SOLUTION FROM YOUR SIDE . HOWEVER, IT CAME TO MY KNOWLEDGE THAT LAPTOP WAS DELIVERED TO BLUE DART COURIER SERVICE BUT THEY ARE NOT IN A POSITION TO ADVISE US THE FACTUAL POSITION. PLEASE CONTACT THEM WITH INSTRUCTION TO DELIVER THE LAPTOP IMMEDIATELY . RPT. IMMEDIATELY
