I have purchased my DELL studio laptop (service tag: 8TP****) on 30-08-08. After purchase of my system, I have faced weird problem with my DVD-ROM. It’s got replaced three times, which I think is a manufacturing defect from DELL. Because all two DVD-ROMs can`t be faulty.

I have contacted customer care several times for same problem but I didn`t got any satisfactory answer, why my DVD-ROM is replaced for so many times. What is the real problem? Every time
They say that some serious decisions are going on regarding this problem. Our technicians are working to resolve this issue.

I have sent around 3 emails to DELL on [protected]@dell.com on same issue, and one on
[protected]@tns-global.com and one in section o[censored]nresolved issues(case no. [protected]). IS there any method left to say “ HELLO, I AM IN BIG
PROBLEM, HELP ME”.


Now, there is only one thing left for me, and that is “CONSUMER FORUM”

Dell Studio — hard flap of lap top

when i open my flap of my lap top, it's seems to be very hard.if proper attention is not given there are the chances of breakeage in the flap kindly take some action soon.
The service providers I spoke with were all very nice and the on-site technician was very nice and helpful. My only frustration, was the second time I called to get help (because the problem with my computer was not resolved after the first time a phone service provider worked with me), I got transferred incorrectly 5 times. Each person was extremely nice and then said they would transfer to the correct number (all saying the same department) but after being transferred I was still not connected to the correct place. In speaking with other Dell users, I have found that this occurence seems to be relatively common. Other than that my experience with the Dell service team was great.
My wife bought a Dell while I was at Iraq and when I got back the first day I plugged it in it would not type a letter. I called the tech support they couldn't help me get it going. Later I called the warranty people and just wanted to simply get the address to send it back . For a hour being connected back and forth from one customer service person to the tech then back to a customer service person I could not get the person to tell me the address to send my computer back to get it fixed or replaced and then when I asked for the supervisor after 15 min waiting I couldn't get him so I had to hang up. I would not even tell my worst or best friend to buy a Dell. I have a compact for a year in the desert and it was a used one and I have not had a single problem with it.

Dell Studio 1555 — Manufacturing Defect

I bought Dell Studio in April,2010. From the day 1, it is hard to close or open my laptop. Later i started getting some creeking noise when i open/close my laptop.I called today to the Dell Customer care to inform this.... but the response is poor.
I was offered with a laptop replacement due to display problem {service tag 7Y5****}.A logistics person came to collect the defective one.But no is giving any information when i will get the new one .
You just need to establish an efficient communication with their warrant agents.

By my experience with dell bland, its just but perfect. I've dealt with their warrant services and they are leading among other manufacturers. They have a dell pro-support services portfolio which has worked so well for our company.

I purchased dell laptop(DELL 1525 NB Fully Loded[protected] from the office works. On that day i think i have purchased laptop of very Good Company but today i think i was wrong.
In the month of july i visited the office works for the repair of my laptop as its battery and the one of the key was not working. i was being informed by one of the dell employee that i have to pay 110 dollars for the ac adapter and the in the day or two the technical person will come to your home and will replace the key pad and the same was done. i recieved the ac adapter from your company vide invoice dated[protected].

Again i approached the dell on[protected] regarding the problem of my dell laptop, i was told by the dell employee that all the necessary repairs will be done within two days free of cost. Accordingly somebody contacted me and told that the some person will visit my home between 9-1pm on[protected] and the person named Prabu reached my house at 1.45pm despite of repeated request on his phone to come before 1 pm .
Mr Prabu replaced MB, Battery and AC Adapter free of cost .

The matter did not finish here i asked Mr prabu to rectify the problem of screw which were poped up from the laptop but he refused that the same is not covered under warranty and also refused for the same.

Mr Prabu brought Lcd Screen and other Parts with him but refused to repair.

I want to know :-
1. Why I was charged 110 dollars in the month of july 2009 when on[protected] the same was replaced free of cost.
2. Why my Laptop was not fully repaired despite of assurance given by the company that the same will be fixed free of cost.
3. Two parts of the laptop are missing after repair on[protected]
I would appreciate if you will look into the matter immediately failing which i have no other option to throw the laptop because it is very difficult for me to run laptop.

i had a studio 1558 and its resolution is on which is preferred as a defaullt but when im playing the vidieo or other few things are not very sharply displayed on vidies it has pixel spreads like patches i dono the resason i had tried all ways options i had in the laptop any one can help me can you kindly please mail me on this id [protected]@gmail.com rest of the things regarding the performance is beautiful exept the pixel patches
Your consumer survey is slanted toward Dell. You need open ended polls to learn what the problems are with your technicians.

The last technician I dealt with was a woman and did a great job of fixing my computer. The technician before her was a male and talked a good game but fixed nothing on my computer.

The prices you charge for technical service is outrageous especiallly when you get a blowhard egomaniacal tech like I got with no results.

If you had the same experience, you would be upset too!!

Dell Studio — Service issue

I have taken a laptop with 3yrs full warranty from Dell and now I got a problem.

This laptop has been gifted by one of my friends.My friend has taken this laptop from a known person but I dont know on whose name its been registered.

Now when I call them they are asking the name where laptop has been taken. Even though I have all the info related to laptop other than the name it is taken on Dell service team is not going to accept it.

Can you please help me in resolving this issue.

battery backup

Now a days i got the problem related to battery backup. I have a Dell Vostro laptop purchased in august 2013 with 1 year warrenty service.

Dell Inspiron 3521

i buyed Dell INSPIRON 3521 . JUNE-7th-2014. it not BOOTING and BEEP Sound Coming. not opening... Tick Tick sound coming now. i called customer care they told out of warrenty. how it OUT OF WARRENTY?.

DVD DRIVE AND SPEAKERS NOT WORKING.

    Hi All,
    I have been using DELL XPS 15inch laptop for over a period of 15months. I had a complain about heating up my laptop and DELL replaced the Motherboard, Heat sink in warranty period.
    And exactly after 93rd days of the replacement my motherboard died again.
    I contacted DELL, they are saying any replacement part has a warranty period of 90 days.And saying it is very unfortunate of me to having a fault detected after 93rd day.
    Now I have to pay Rs.14000/- to have another motherboard.

    I would like to know if I could have DELL pay some attention to my problem.

As the laptop is very highly essential and it is using very sentitive places of East Coast Railway.

        I had booked a laptop with dell on the 10th of July 2009. (Order No[protected]

        I was told that the same would be delivered to me within 10 days time.

        On checking with them later, i was told it would take some more time... this kept on happening and last time i checked, their website showed that my laptop would be delivered on 24th of August!!!.

        I had mailed them twice for the status, but the only reply i got was that the spare parts are not available!! and when i call their customer service they disconnect my calls.

        After getting fed up, i cancelled my order, and am awaiting my refund cheque.

        But i still need a reply from them as to why there was such a long delay & also why wasnt the customer kept informed..

          Respected sir, my name is Harminder singh. I was working in DELL at mohali, Punjab. The PF refund form was submitted on ( 03 April, 2009 ) through Dell Intenational Services Bangalore in the Regional PF Office Bangalore. Till date the refund is not given.

          PF CODE NO.KN/24960/15811- SECTION - 15

          I already tried these no’s[protected] / 22216566 / 22216566 /[protected], but nobody picked the phone. I also went to Chandigarh PF dept and on request I got following number’s:

          R.P.F.C (I) S. Raghuram[protected]
          PC (II) S. Kumar[protected]
          A.P.F.C Mrs. Chandra Rangarajan[protected]

          I gave call to above person’s more than twice, but again nobody picked the phone. When I contacted DELL regarding that they said I have to contact PF Bangalore dept regarding that, Dell can’t help regarding that. Sir, I am very much fed up now.

          Right now I have no job and as I am married, I have to full fill my family requirements too. Sir, it’s request please tell me my PF status and when I will get that. Please reply me on my following email address( [protected]@hotmail.com, [protected]@yahoo.com ).

            Take a proper action on that other wise we ready to go for Consumer Court. Now you can suggest me what I can do? Either give me a new laptop.

              Brief history of Case 2156233:-

              My laptop is in warrenty upto 28/1/2010 and I have purchased it few months before
              At the end of May, 2009 I found my laptop battery was defected and I call Dell technical centre on 1st June, 2009 and at that time I talk to technical support executive regarding my problem and according to him my battery is defected and they have registered a case no 2156233 for replacing 6 cell battery but I did not get any battery which was compatible for my laptop (same as the time of laptop purchasing)

              And I am continuing call almost every day for replacing the 6 cell battery for my laptop But No one is giving me a SATISFACTORY response and told me 6 cell battery is not available with them

              I continueing calling at Dell technical cetre regarding this issue and after one and half month I got a battery on 15th July, 2009 whose colour was not matching with my laptop and which make my laptop looks very old

              I call again on 20th July, 2009 regarding this colour problem
              But I did not get any satisfactory answer and every time they say battery which is made for my lapto Inspirion 1525 is OUT OF STOCK FROM LAST 3 month and they did not know when it be available in stock or not
              I again call 2~3 times after 20/7/2009 but every time I got same answer and they told me when ever battery will be in stock then they will send but they are not telling the exect date

              I AM TOTALLY FEDUP WITH THIS TYPE OF BAD SERVICE
              I am a coustomer please tell me what is my fault why I am not getting the same battery which I require for my laptop battery

              Dell Inspiron 1525 Laptop — earbud missing

              i ordered a dell inspiron 1525 laptop throughsales person Mr saratchandra.i ordered three earbuds.but only 2 have been delivered.i have called customer care many times nobody is listening.and almost 2 months are over for delivery.so frustating.

              Dell Inspiron 1525 Laptop — battery replacement

              i have purchased one inspiron 1525 laptop in the month of december 2008 .it s service tag no . is 8qsl2bs and i have purchased this from delhi.At that time it s battery back up was 2 hr 10 min to 2 hr 20 min but since last 3 month it s reduces to less than 1 hr. twice i contacted n informed dell customer care about this but their reply(it s happen n now it will reduce to 30 min n ......) was shocking .

              so i want to replace my battery and expect better reply from dell customer care next time n any further relief which u deems fit.

              DELL — Battery Replacement

              Dear Friends,

              Here i am sharing my personal Experience which i faced for dell company.

              I request to all don;t purchase dell companies laptop.they are chiiter company.

              Even though my laptop under warranty and my laptop is not working on battery, i complain to there toll free number but they haven't replace my battery.

              and there is no on site support they are giving as well as they don;t have service centers in major cities.

              so don't buy the dell company laptops.

              I purchased Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop the following are its details:

              I had gifted this laptop to my brother who currently has its ownership ( inovoice/recipt ) few days from the date of purchase.
              He has faced persistant problems since he started to use it. The following are the problems:
              1.The wi-fi card in the laptop was defected from the beginning, which he discovered after 1 month.
              2.Persistant heating and crashing problem.
              3.Recently after about 2 years he is facing startup problems, and is not able to reboot his system(hard disk failure).

              Dell personnels are asking to expand the warrenty period, if I want to repair my system. At this I feel cheated as many of my others friends are facing the same problems regarding the hardware parts of dell.
              Most of the dell laptops bought by my friends and had to pay for hardware failure in their system.
              Dell is selling laptops at cheaper rates as compared to other laptop firms, but it comes at a cost of hardware failure problem in long run. I had bought hp-pavillion dv6300 which even after 3 years o[censored]sage is working perfectly fine without any problem.

              If possible please see to my problem and help me find any solutions in this regard.

                PF Not Credited A/c-KN/BN/24960/22173 submitted on May-25-2009

                Dell International Services India Pvt. Ltd. Bangalore sumitted a PF withdrawal request on 25/May/2009 to The Regionsl Provident Fund Commissoner No.13 Raja Ram Mohan Roy Road, Bangalore-25.
                But until now there is no further communication from PF office on the status of PF withdrawal. I called up so many times on[protected] but could not get any response.

                Could you please let me know the...

                I had odered for DELL LATITUDE D830 laptop battery for which i had sent a DD of Rs. 4993/- as told in Quotation number INSP 2353304. After a long time i came to know that DELL Bangalore has lost my draft and i was to get the battery for free which i did after a long time of around 3 months. As the draft still remains uncashed i wanted to get it cancelled and for that i required a confirmation for dell that it has been lost by them. Though it has been lost by them no one is issuing anything in written that it is misplaced by them. It is the most disorganised comany I have ever seen. They don't attend to calls, don't respond to emails etc.
                i fully agree with you regarding service matter of dell company.

                DELL — worst after sales service

                This is a complaint regarding the worst and unexpected after sales service of dell.
                My system(laptop, model no: dell xps m1330) was under 3 years warranty, which is a paid service of a company, which covers all kinds of damages to the system, including accidental damages.Due to my accident, the system also broke down, so i called the company executives and they took the laptop for replacement, and promised that it will be replaced withing 15 business days.
                Its been more than 4 months now, and till now i have not received my system, whenever i call to direct numbers provided by company, most of the time no one receives the call,or is being transferred to voice mail.
                every now and then i send e-mail, but most of the times i do no get reply, and if i get reply, its full of fake promises only.
                there are number of executives who have been regularly cheating me on this. after every few days, the person who takes care of my matter is changed, and a new person starts the case from zero, then again he/she gives new date of delivery.
                i have their e-mails, as a proof, in which they have promised exact date of delivery also. and neither of the date is true. all are just fake promises.
                i want to file a complaint about the executives and the company.
                please help.

                  i have purchased a laptop of dell . Servies tag no. g5zy1bs when i have purchased with delar told me that this is a 2 gb ram laptop. then i have buyed it . when i have cheqed it, it was only 1gb ram . i have complaned to dell. but there is no responce to me. and the delar is not even recognising me that he has told me for 2 gb. and the same problem with the bluetooth chip. i m facing very problem .pls solve my issue i will be thank full to you.

                    I have purchased a DELL VOSTRO 1400 laptop (service tag:JBZL1BS, Express service code: [protected]) on 20/10/2008 from WIZERTECH INFORMATICS PVT. LTD., Prakash Plaza, 1st flore, Opp. S.D.Hospital, Chota Tengra, Kharagpur-721302. According to terms this product is under warranty for one year from date of purchasing. When i contacted dell centre for a problem, this product is declared as out of warranty by phone and dell website. Here i have attached scan copy of original receipt.Further i contacted WIZERTECH INFORMATICS PVT. LTD. There i was told that after 2-3 days every record will be updated and this product will be under warranty. After 3 month i did not get any response. Please do justice.

                      I customized and ordered a Dell inspiron laptop on August 11th 2009 and received a quotation from them ( Quotation No.: IRSO2728594).

                      I communicated through email and over the phone with one of their representative named Aloysius. He told me that I have an option of paying by cash at CITIBANK and gave me details ( not complete details - no TIN number).

                      I went to CITIBANK Branch at CP in New Delhi on the 14th of August 2009. But Since the amount crossed 50K they were not willing to accept the cash unless I gave them a PAN number . Then I called the Dell representative and one person from the finance department told me to do the payment in two. One 49K and then the rest Rs 48796 in two payment. But the Bank told me that this is illegal and that they are not going to accept it.

                      I told the bank people that this is what Dell guys told me to do and that I am willing to take any risk if at all it is there, but the bank people were stern and said it is illegal to do that way.

                      Finally, one of the bank staff told me to ask them (Dell) for a TIN number. He further told me that he has many customer buying Dell Laptop and that they all provided TIN number. When I called up the Dell Representative and ask for TIN number he gave me after letting me hold the phone for about 5 mins.

                      After getting theTIN nunber I made the payment. After about 4 hrs I got a call from Dell confirming the that they have recieved the payment and they told me that it will take another 24 hrs to complete the whole process. I also scan and send a copy of both ( 49K and Rs 48796) the bank challan to Alloysius who's the Dell sales representative that communicated with from the beginning.

                      After not getting a reply or an acknowledgment regarding the mail that I send even after two days, I was a little nervous and called them up on 17th August 2009. I talk to Aloysius and I was very surprised when he told me that he has'nt received the mail. He asked me when I sent it to him and I told him the date ie 14th August 2009.

                      A couple of hours I got a call from another guy from Dell who told me that I can pay the other remaining half of the payment!!!

                      I was shocked!! I told him that I have made the payment in full on the 14th August 2009, and that a guy from Dell called me up that evening confirming that they have received the payment!! I also told him that I send them a scanned image of the bank challan. Then he asked me the name of the person who called me! I was a little pissed so I asked him sternly whether they have any problem with the payment. Then he told be he'll check it out from his side again and hung up.

                      I am very worried now. I already paid Rs 53696/- to Dell expecting a laptop from them, now I'm very worried whether they are doing all this fraud and are going to cheat me. First of all they told me to do the payment in an illegal manner and did'nt provide me with a PAN or TIN number. Second, now they are confused or try to confuse me by telling me that I have'nt pay the amount in full and asked me to deposit the second remaining amount Rs 48796.00 (Rs. 53696 - Rs.4900) again.

                      The representative told me he'll call me back and I'm waiting for his call... and I'm very worried.

                      Dell Called me up and confirmed that they received the payment. However my complaint is that they should provide the TIN number at the first place.
                      well..dont get worried..dell generally doesnt cheat..u should have met the person with whom u r dealing with..keep patience..and dont go with illegal ways ever

                        I hav purchased a Dell laptop Inspiron 14. from Dell store Nehru plave, from Vidur & Co. Pvt ltd. 201 Sahyog Bldg, 58 nehru place ph[protected]. I hav made a cash payment of rs 32, 417/- and they hav provided me with the receipt of there store i.e. Vidhur. its been 2 weeks now, i hav not recieved my laptop or any such information from the company as well as frm the store. they promised me that the laptop will be delievered wth 7-10 days, i bought the laptop on frst week of August. I am very much frustrated now calling them 100 times, running after the, no proper response frm there side ... aweful service dell has.. i wuld suggest never to buy these dell laptops fr, m dell stores.

                          hi,
                          I am having a DELL Inspiron 1525 laptop since last 13 months. From the last 4-5 months, the system clock stopped working. First I thought that it may be due to the some software problems and therefore formatted my laptop. However, this issue didnot got resolved even then.
                          from the last one month my laptop battery also started behaving starngely. Some time it chraged upto 20%, some times 30%. I thought it may be that i need to replace my battery, as this is a frequent issue with the DELL laptops. I know many friends who got their DELL laptop batteries replaced in a year.
                          However, two days back when i tried to boot my laptop, i got the starange message 'time-of-day clock stopped'. I called the DELL customer care and was told that my laptops Motherboard needs to be replaced.
                          Since my warranty got expired a month back, I had to go for the warranty extention. When i told them that i am ready for the Rs 8500 warranty extention, they told me that since its a costly replacement you will have to go for a Rs 18187 warranty extention. I told them that i am facing this issue since last 4-5 months, but they were very adamant on the warranty extention. To my surprise that customer care people tried to explain me that if the same problem occurred again within a year, i will get my money's worth.
                          Also, one of them was surprised that i didn't had any visits of DELL engineers till now.This clearly shows that they expect these problems on DELL laptops.

                          When i checked over internet, I found that this is a common issue faced by people worldwide using DELL laptops. And the strange thing is that all of them faced this issue within a year of purchasing their laptops. This clearly indicates that it is a manufacturing defect from DELL.
                          I cannot spend 18187 just to make myself fooled for one more year.

                          I donot have any resort but to move to the consumer court, because this clearly is a manufacturing defect from DELL and such problems donot occur in any other laptops so early.
                          when i downloaded'a anti viruse software then i shut it down after that its not working

                            I have got a Dell Inspiron in the last week of June. The Hard Disk (C drive) space decreases automatically even when no extra stuff is added to it. It reduces at a rate of approximately 1 GB per two days. Today 2 GB got reduced directly.
                            The C drive externally is showing 217 GB free of 283 GB i.e 66 GBs consumed. But if I open it and select all the folders the sum totals only 28.5 GB.
                            I am unable to understand why the space is getting consumed automatically. Your help in this regard will be highly appreciated.
                            I purchased on Dell 1545-INS-0044-BLK last week and when i checked the harddrive capacity, its showing 283GB only instead of 320GB you mentioned. I am not understanding why these much space not showing in the system.
                            Please confirm with me about this problem and get me a proper reply about this matter.

                              I am a student in IIT ROORKEE, i have purchased dell studio 1535 laptop which has service tag no 6B2C2BS, on date 22/09/2008 by direct payment.
                              it was initially running very good and the performance was SATISFACTORY but from last 5-6 months i am continuously facing serious problems related to battery and optical drive.My optical drive has been changed thrice just in duration of 5 month and again it got out of order today at the time of this complain.The parts provided by dell at the end of the warranty are just for formality they are really not so durable as they says.

                              the second problem is of battery, when i purchased the laptop i was getting a battery backup of around 2-3 hrs but from past 2 months it just fall down to 30 min. only, i called the person from whom i purchased the laptop regarding the problem in starting of July named SARATCHANDRA GODAVAR from my air tell no.[protected], then he called me back from his office no.[protected] and transferred my call to technical support there they misguided me that i have to just update my bios from A-05 to A-06 and i'll get good battery backup, i have done that but after that i felt that the backup was same.

                              Then again i called dell technical support on[protected] then the told me that my laptop is more then 300 days old and we provide warranty for battery only 300 days, then i told them that i have already reported the problem in duration of the 300 days warranty but they refused to accept and told me that my last call log they received in may regarding optical drive issue.

                              sir there is no transparency in the service and they cheated me as i just follow there advise.
                              i need justice sir please consider my problem as the because of the laptop my studies are affected seriously, i am not able to complete the work provided by professors and it turned in the penalty of marks, because of this my good student image is spoiling.

                              Laptop Studio — Dell Backup

                              I purchased this PC in January. Overall it works well etc. With the purchase I was offered up to 5gig free backup. It was set to backup weekly during the evening. Also Dell installs Vista updates automatically.

                              After a series of Vista updates the backup no longer works. I get a message Vista shut it down or if I try to perform manually I get Dell Backup not working. Where ever I go within Dell on line I go into a loop and never seem to be able to resolve the issue. It seems that Vista or Dell has shut down everything on my PC directly related to connecting to Dell.

                              I want the backup and I will even pay for it when the time comes but I need this resolved so I can count on the service.

                              I am facing a similar situation. I am also using a Dell Studio 1535 laptop and my Dell service tag number is 629F2BS. I gave a call to the Dell Customer Care on 01/09/2009 with my Airtel No [protected].
                              My laptop has got a 1 year warranty, and is still in the warranty period. The problem that I am facing is that whenever I keep the laptop in charging mode, (for as many no of hours as possible), it shows 100% charged. But as soon as I take out the charger, the battery shows 60% charged.

                              Even in my case, the customer care representative asked me to update my BIOS. But I already had the latest BIOS (A-06). Hearing to this, they bluntly replied that they are not in a position to do anything, as "battery are like tires, and it has a certain life period." They also said that since the battery is charging normally, they can't replace it, although my laptop is fully covered with replacement warranty,

                              I made a second call the same day, and talked to another customer care representative, who again reiterated the same things. I asked him specifically about the conditions under which the battery is replaced. He mentioned that in India, they provide a replacement warrantee for a battery for only 90 days, after which they do not replace the battery under any condition. But sir, I have my friends out here (2 of them that I know of), who got their battery replaced by Dell because their battery was not working at all. Though the reason may be different, its still violating their policy that they don't replace even new battery after a period of 90 days. One of their service tag no was 51M22BS (Anirudh Agarwal).

                              Sir, I believe that they are imparting differential treatment to their customers, and they are not consistent with their policy.

                              Also, I checked about the battery warranty, which contradicts with what is mentioned on the dell website,
                              that "Laptop Batteries Carry 1 Year Warranty Only From Invoice Date".

                              Sir, I would request you to kindly look into this issue.

                              I also had the same experience with Studio laptop 1535 which i bought in Singapore on 2008 September. After 6 months battery was gone and cannot work for 1/2 hour with this battery.Laptop become very hot if we work continuously for 1/2 hour.
                              On Oct 2009 motherboard spoiled and i called Dell customer service as usual follow to technical support who said you Laptop not under warranty then charged me $450 Singapore dollar to changed the mother board and gave warranty for 6 months.
                              On Dec 2011 my Laptop again got problem in power IC in the motherboard and they suggested to changed the mother board. I got totally frustrated.
                              My question is why they do like this kind of laptop and cheating the people.
                              Now i throw my laptop in the corner.since i got a bas experience in DELL. I plan to buy new laptop in some other company.

                                Hi all,

                                I booked a dell studio 15 laptop a week before.
                                And when i was booking that particular system. They promised me that i wil be getting my laptop within a week.
                                And that to its cost around 48000.
                                And it was urgent as i confirmed them repeatedly for my delivery as i was abt to leave to my home town.
                                And they also promised me that i wil be getting the laptop within a week.

                                But now whe am checking with the status of my order online.
                                It showing that date of delivery is on 17th of this month. Its almost aroun 2 weeks of time which bugs me alot.
                                To change the delivery address again it takes a huge process.
                                Also these peoples are boldly doing this type of service as no one will question them.
                                Infact in the dell website there is no option to log a complaint also.

                                And now when i am trying to cal them no body picks up the phone which makes me really crazy.
                                A customer should not be treated like this after paying a hard earned money.

                                Atlast to fnish... If you are choosing dell... Then support sucks... Try to switch to hp... This is my kind advice

                                Dell is a pathetic company..atleast DELL India...I booked a Inspiron Desktop on 28th...The sales girl told me that I will get the machine in 7 Days..when the order got confirmed..I got a mail saying delivery time 7-10 days from the date of manufacture..now I needed the Desktop for an urgent purpose...I felt guilty over the decision I made to choose DELL and called the sales person to cancel the Order..She said it will reach in 2-3 days time though they say 7-10 Days..the estimated delivery date was given as 3rd FEB 2010. On 2rd FEB 2010, I get a call and on 3rd FEB 2010 I get a mail from DELL support saying my order is stuck due to incorrect pin code (500 0075 instead of 560 075). The address was straight forward with all landmarks included in address. The address is in main part of Banglore. Despiting confirming it on 2nd FEB, the order is still on HOLD status on 3rd and nearly 4 people I had to confirm the Pin code. After that the response I get from the DELL support is that the DELIVERY will be done on 11th FEB 2010. My sole purpose of ordering a machine was the urgent work and they promise to deliver the machine after that..When I tried to cancel the order today (3-FEB-2010), the call center girl says that I have to pay a fine of Rs.1800 for a PC that has not left the factory..I have complained to multiple sources in DELL and ALL WERE RUDE to me..And later I learned that it is the was DELL works in India...Feeling Lost in a spiderweb of tricks played by DELL..When I asked why they didn't intimated of the cancellation charges at the time of booking, the person was saying that it is there somewhere in 'Terms & Conditions' section of website (not even the ordering pages) and will not be shown at the time of ordering..I feel helpless and angry over the attitude they have shown to me..This is cheating.
                                Though initially tough, the Dell staff managed to Deliver me the Desktop on 6th-Feb-2010. So I am not having any complaint/issue against DELL and am Highly satisfied with the Computer and service I received lateron. PLEASE IGNORE THE ABOVE COMPLAINT (COMMENT) BY ME..THIS IS NO MORE VALID.

                                  We have bought a Dell laptop about 2 and half months ago. After 5 days from the date of purchase the laptop was not working. We called the dell technical service assistant and submitted him the laptop as it was not repairable here. Now since then we are regularly making the call at the dell service centre but they are making false statements that the replacement laptop has been despatched it will be recd in a day or two. But the same thing is continuing for last one and half months. Now as we are facing serious problem due to non availbility of the laptop we request you to take action against this serious irresponsiblity of the company after selling the laptops under replacement warranty. Breach of warranty and false statements from dell customer care should be punished.

                                    Dear Sir,

                                    I recently purchased a dell inspiron laptop from dell bangalore from a dell sales representative called bhavya g. I referred a friend to dell (who purchased a laptop from them) and was promised verbally and through an email that i will be sent a laptop bag for the referral.

                                    The laptop bag never came and on enquiring i was told that they are short of bags and i will be sent one soon. However it has been more than two months and i havent received the bag. My emails concerning the bag are no longer being answered.

                                    I copied bhavya's manager kranthi in the mail but she too has not replied.

                                    I don't know if i will get this bag but i hope gullible customers are not taken for a ride by dell.
