I had purchased a Dell 7567 Inspiron laptop in 2017. The battery started loosing backup in 2020. These days I’m unable to use the laptop on battery even for 5 mins. Now I need a spare battery which I’m ready to purchase. The local dell service centre informed that they do not have the part available and don’t receive it.

I was asked to contact dell customer care. I had a conversation with a technical support personnel to whom I explained the matter,

I was informed that the battery for my laptop model is not being made any longer and hence cannot be provided.

They were not able to provide an alternate option

At this point I’m not able to use my laptop for its intended purpose.

I don’t think it’s fair to ask a consumer to replace the laptop after just 4.5 years o[censored]sage since a consumable is not available in the market.

Request you to please provide a resolution for the same

    My newly purchased Dell Inspiron 3505 Laptop is not functioning properly after changing Dell Part : 0VPNP (Description: ASSY, PWA, PLN, R3-3250U, BULLSEYE) on 27.01.2021.

    Engineer Name: Maqsood Alam
    The problems persist are:
    1) It automatically shut down.
    2) Apps, PDF files, MS Office files and other files does not open in frequent manner. It takes lot of time to open and in the middle of work it automatically shut down.
    For these problems I contacted to Dell Service Engineer named: Imran Hashmi, they created Case No.:[protected]/Service Request: [protected] and according to his advised I follow all the steps but no improvement happened in the performance of laptop.
    So Kindly send the Service Engineer to my Quarter to resolve all the problem at the earliest as it is used for both official and personal use.

      I had bought a laptop on dec 2020. From the day one there was charging problem. The dealer tried to solve it but not suceeded till now.Recently i contacted the customer care number. It is avery horrible experience to contact the number anyhow i managed it but aftertalking on line twohours the phone got disconnected. What to do now i think i had made amistake by buying your laptop

          Laptop purchased in DEc'20 is working slwo since from last 2 Months. Starting, opening drives taking more time. Also internet (4G Speed) sites are also not getting browsed properly. Many time asks for update but no improvement. Need proper resolution.

              My built in camera is not working. When I tried to resolve my issue by going to device manager, there is no imaging devices option found.
              I have tried all the possible ways to resolve the issue but none of them worked. Its been just 27 days since I bought my laptop. This is not the first time it is happening. Please try to resolve my issue.

                  I have purchased del laptop D560375win9s-5502-Ci5(11G)-8-512 from dell exclusive store shop No.2, Gurmeet building, 1 Police line Opp. President Hotel, Jalandhar(Punjab) on date[protected].
                  Invoice No. : JAL[protected]
                  The problem in my laptop is that whenever i open chrome or microsoft edge in my laptop, the screen of the laptop starts flickering (the screen turns on and off i.e it turns black and white) .this problem has been observed by me few days back.
                  I am very disappointed with the performance of this device and this was not expected from such world class top notch company.

                    This is very unexpected incident from such a reputed company like Dell. I had placed order for a Vostro Notebook 5402 on 24 April 21. Payment for same was made for an amount of Rs. 62, 188. On 26 Apr 21, dell sent an email asking for GST number and MSME certificate. It is pertinent to mention that it was not mentioned when the payment was made. I had talked with customer executive of dell complaining about the same. I was told to write a reply email to dell for cancellation. Accordingly, I wrote email to Dell for cancellation so that I can purchase another laptop. But, it is harsh to mention that no positive response has been received yet. As the requirement of laptop is very urgent in nature, I'm facing a lot of trouble.

                      Bought this laptop in december ... it is heavily lagging right from the booting and also while operating the system ...despite many complaints in the past no resolution has been provided...help asap or i wont have any option but leal action...thankyou

                          I was delivered the laptop on 15th April 2021. I was super excited which didn't last long as there was a problem with the touchpad and immediately I called Dell product support. They tried to trouble shoot which didn't work and then they asked me to go to the Service Center, in Bangalore. For the fault of buying this Dell laptop I took the same to service center risking myself to covid 19 pandemic. The service center attempted to fix my brand new laptop and finally came back and said to call the Dell customer care and ask them to replace as it was not repairable. I called Dell and it was transferred to Product Support desk who informed me that i need to speak to Customer Support. The IVR options in Dell doesn't have customer support desk and it was landing everytime on product support desk. I have called 7 times with 3 emails triggered with all the details as requested by Dell and the result is that, I have been put down by their service representatives rudely. Finally one agent Bharatullah Khan mentioned that I have to dial customer support desk as this is damaged on box opening. Further, there is no IVR option to dial Customer support desk and they have been just fooling me on that. You can refer to call details which are recorded where they kept on transferring me and the call never landed on Customer support desk. I'm awaiting patiently to see how long will it take for some person to be responsive, to provide the details of replacement. Also, product was defective, but, the least I expected was a helpful customer service, which was also not available.

                          With Dell recognized on international standards would request for a response on the below.
                          1. Why should a customer wait for replacement of a faulty product for so many days and follow up multiple times.
                          2. Their processes are very incompetent to identify the customer problem and provide a suitable resolution.
                          3. Professionalism missing and literally they enjoy making the customer bend down on his kneel (6 calls and 3 mails in 4 days to get info on my laptop)

                          Finally, I understand that Product can be defective, but customer service and processes also are defective. I hope Dell team works on the flaws and bring out customer centric processes.

                          Today I got a call on my case number[protected] from product support team seeking clarification on what customer care spoke to me. I am now sure that product team doesn't speak to Customer care team which is costing the customer a huge price.

                            What the hell is wrong with thus 4gb varaint, why i have purchased this laptop tell me ??? to get a ram pf 600 mb
                            it is so annoying to see lass than 1gb o[censored]sable memory

                            please tell me what to do now ?? it feels like throwing this thing
                            such a waste of money
                            4gm ram is just a bait to attract CUSTOMERs and the truth is only 700-800mb is usable ram is free to use

                            i would like my problem to be solved
                            i am a student i bought this on finance and paying every month fir this ### its so frustating and depressing

                                Have recently purchased Inspiron 5406 2n1on March 10th 2021.
                                Service Tag : HXNV863, Express Service Code:[protected]

                                The laptop heats up and is very very hot to touch - is this normal?
                                I have referred this unit twice within a fortnight of buying for other startup issues. And had reported the heating too. The agency kept it for a 3 days for monitoring and returned it saying Dell has checked and corrected the problem.
                                I am concerned with the temperature of the laptop and the battery life which barely goes beyond 3.5 hours although the unit is new.
                                Always gets heating without doing heavy works or without playing trible AAA games . so thermal paste must be applied on processor, heat sink must be added to the SSD, should check FAN condition.
