I placed an order for dell ultrasharp u2415 24" monitor on 22nd may 2017. Although i did the search on the dell website, it routed me to compuindia.com website instead at the time of purchase. I made the online payment and in the order successful page, it said that product will be up for delivery on the 23rd may (That made me happy & took a screenshot). But when i didn't receive any further details on shipment, i contacted compuindia.com's support via email. They said that this product has a lead time of 3 weeks (Which means i must receive my delivery within 3 weeks). So i mailed them again asking them about my order status - since i have prepaid the order, i have the right to know at what point is my order stuck at the moment. As expected, these people couldn't tell me that and reminded me that it has a lead time of 3 weeks.
So, i waited until 3 weeks pass and then contacted them again and to my surprise, compuindia's staffs didn't have a hint when my product will be delivered. They started passing the blame on dell (Which i believe is true). But they also reminded me that they are just a shipping partner for dell and nothing else. Well played! Good way to cheat customers and keep them waiting. Now the customer has no clue who is the real culprit and if they wish to take action, to whom they should hold responsible. Is it dell or compuidia? If you ask me, this is a big scam run by dell and compuindia.com together.
I have got enough reason to sense a fowl play here. So, i will be taking legal action against dell and comuindia.com and ask for a huge compensation unless they apologize for their malpractice and keeping customers in the dark. This complaint is for the rest of the world to know how dell and it's partners work in india. Complete cheats!!!
