I had an issue with my dell laptop. I went to dell exclusive store at mgf megacity mall, gurgaon (Haryana). I thought that dell store is most trustful to repair my laptop. Firstly the attendant, he charge me 300rs to identify the laptop issue. After service, he told me that your motherboard ic is defected which need to be changed and it will cost me 2300. He told me that everything else is working okay on my laptop, problem is just with ic. At the time of payment firstly he denied to take card even he has a card machine. Earlier he had taken my card to identify the problem but this time he forced me to go and bring cash which was the very inappropriate behaviour of him. After repairing, he gave my laptop by saying that there is no any further problem and you can take your laptop at home. At the same day when i checked my laptop at home some particular keys of keyboards were not working. Day, after i went again, to told him that earlier all keys were working but now some of the keys are not working. He started arguing with me that it's not his fault and responsibility so i said firstly you charge me for full servicing to identify the issues specially for which i paid you including the other issue charges and now if any problem is occurring then that mean it is from your end which you need to resolve it. Anyhow after a long discussion, he took my laptop and after few days when i called him to asked about laptop then he said that which keys you told were not working is now working but other few keys are stopped working and if you want to repair them you have to pay more. Now, what should i do as my keys were working before even i gave my laptop first for problem identification then he did not tell about any keyboard issue and also assured me before giving my laptop that everything else is okay. Now, he did something that some other keys are not working which is a fault from their end. So, please take action and make my laptop repaired fully as soon as possible. Hence, i need a proper support from your side to resolve this matter asap.

      I had spoken to the customer service on the date: 13th july 2017 about issue regarding my laptop regarding its display. I immediately the very same day got the quotation of 8, 000/- rupees and i was told that i'd be getting a call back once i make my payment.
      I made the payment of rs. 8000/- on the date of 15th july 2017 for which i did not receive any acknowledgement call. I then called back dell customer service to confirm about my payment and also sent them the screenshot of my payment. I got an invoice mail with the estimated delivery date as 28th july 2017. Few days before the eta i got an email stating your payment is not reflecting in our finance department and that your order has been cancelled. I soon sent them the screenshots and account details of all my payment after which my eta got delayed.

      On 2/08/2017 i got an email stating the engineering will be calling and visiting on 3/08/2017 4:45pm. The engineer did not turn up to which i had to call them back again and new eta was scheduled on 4/08/2017.
      The engineer came to the doorstep at 9:00 pm in the night after hours of struggling and fixing the laptop only to find out that the new lcd screen installed is faulty.
      Numerous customer calls and multiple delay in the service and product delivery. It has been a nightmare.

          Hi There,
          I bought a Dell Laptop through Amazon and we have the invoice. It was sold on the website that I have 1 year warranty if there is fault. We bought on 17/12/2016. Invoice number[protected]. With in 3 months we noticed some lines appearing on the screen. Took it to Dell service centre at Pinnacle Prestige Building, Near Cosmos Bank, Tilak Road, Sashiv Petu, Pune. They said that screen need to be replced and it will cost 5000 rupees. Also, there is no warranty for the laptop. We were shocked and felt cheated. We contacted amazon and they asked to contact Dell- Service request number[protected], support- [protected]. But we havent received any reply even after contacting the again and again, also through Amazon.
          I like to lodge a complaint about this poor service and selling the products with wrong information on both Dell India and Amazon.
          Please look into this matter on urgent basis as I am concerned that these companies are going keep cheating the customers again and again. Also, I would like to have my warranty for 1 year from the date of purchase so that I could replace the screen.

          Here in hyderabad one of the dell service steals my original parts as im thinking that because before giving to dell free service my laptop wasin good condition after giving then my mousepad was not confortable now.
          i mailed them and i gave feedback to them that i didn't satisfied youre service, they simply ignored my feedback and mail complaint

            Respected sir/madam,

            I bought a dell monitor (Model - s2216h) form eastern logica infoway ltd at[protected]. My monitor is coming under the dell warranty coverage. I am getting issue regarding monitor display. I have swap my dell monitor with another pc (Cpu) & monitor. The other monitor is working fine with my pc (Cpu) but my dell monitor is not working with other pc. I have also change the vga cable, but same problem was persist. I have called dell customer service support team but they were unable to solve the issue. The service request no is:[protected]. I have asked the customer care executive to send engineer for support but they denied and they are also denying to replace the monitor.
            I am requesting you to take action as soon as possible. I have attached all the require documents along with complaint.

            Very poor support!!!
            I had purchased a laptop on 16 August 2016 with 1 year warranty when i check it online it show till june 2016 only 7 month. For more detail please see attached image I had called Capital Electronics many times but no response. Capital Electronics 14/4, Gariahat Road, Kolkata 19. I hope here i can resolve my complaint.               Sir,

              I had gone for a dell inspiron 7000 series 7560 with 1 year warranty &1 year accidental damage warranty for cost of rs70, 000 from your authorized showroom avoiding my father's advice to go for hp of same configuration. I was sold a defective one with mis-alignment on its display hinge, within a short period of time i found the defect when searching for express service code, though i couldn't find it at the time of purchase now which was acknowledged by your service team that there is a mis-alignment. After paying 70000 for the cost of laptop putting aside my fathers word of going for a hp is it my fate that i have to use a defective dell branded laptop? It is highly shameful on the part of reputed company like yours not giving replacement for a defective on its hinge (Bezeless display) one which i had purchased within its warranty.

              committed to proceed with refund. 5th July
              It's 28th July and yet no refund .

              even after So many calls, no proper follow up, lot of fake promises, lot of delay

                I had issue with my dell laptop. I went to dell exclusive store at bhiwandi. I thought that it is a exclusive store as well as authorized service station. However, owner did not corrected me and proceeded with the servicing. I also found that they were also servicing lenovo laptop in the store. I am not aware that whether it is allowed to service laptops of other brands in the exclusive store. But i believe that this should not happen and if it is not allowed, please take corrective action. Also, after checking my laptop, they gave me estimated charges which was not acceptable by me. So, i asked to return my laptop as it is. However, they started asking diagnostic charges for checking the laptop. When i refused, they started behaving rudely and started arguing unnecessarily. So, i have 2 complaints
                1. Servicing laptops of various brands in dell exclusive store
                2. Inappropriate behaviour

                    The warranty of my desktop (Inspiron 660s, service tag 8zwhbx1, express service tag [protected]) is going to expire on 22 august, 2017. A request was made on july12 for the extension of the same in the support link provided. The next day, i received an automated reply from a person (Akshay. [protected]@dell.com) without any body text in the mail and without any indication about what action has been taken.

                    After waiting for 6 days, i sent a reminder on july19 with copy to the warranty renewal team but no response has yet been obtained even after 19 days! Is this the kind of service your company provides the customers?

                    Please note that i shall be out of station from august 10 for about 10 days. If you decide to respond, the whole process (Receiving a quotation, making payment and acknowledgment of warranty extension from your side) must be completed before i leave, otherwise it will not be possible for me to keep track of it at a later stage.

                    I had experience of such lack of promptness from the warranty team on an earlier occasion also.

                      I bought dell inspiron 5558 laptop 7 months back and the product is still under warranty. The right end corner of laptop near to screen is popped open on its own. I have seen the similar complaints at en. Community. Dell.com. I do not understand how a lap top be made of such low quality when sold for more than 50k. I understand physical damage is not covered under warranty but it should not be used as better reason to tell customers and charge us so much. This damage wasnt created by us due to mishandling but by manufacturing defect of company itself. We contacted service centre both physically and through phone but of no use. They do not have any clue on how to proceed with issues and every time has one ready response, "we have registered your complaint" but of no use. This is very frustrating when we use our saved money to buy lap top for study purpose and it end up like this.

                        We are contacting you from aiims raipur chhattisgarh, one of your system dell optiplex 9020 aio (Express service tag id [protected]) has been cold booted in the morning but soon smoke came out n sound of short circuit happened. Now system is in dead state.

                        Please send the engineer with smps to replace it, after that any troubleshoot can be done for respective diagnosis or to recover from dead to working state.

                          I purchased dell laptop from "arora it solution pvt. Ltd. 120-mall road, kingsway camp delhi-110009". I realized they are actually not selling laptop but sitting there to make people dumb. Their talking way and behavior towards customers is like customers are coming not to buy laptop but to beg to them.

                          So kindly take appropriate action to control their this type of cheap mentality so that dell brand does not get its reputation down.

                          Directly or indirectly these types of things are affecting dell brand not their reputation.

                          I suppose you people are going to take it extremely serious.

                            I had purchased a laptop batt for my inspiron 5521 from dell with the advice of a tech support staff rehan ansari from dell but when i visited the service centre here in mumbai and gave the laptop for repairs the outcome was different my batt is ok and the laptop is working fine now after some parts replacement and i have already send the batt to the dell dealer in delhi vidur india ltd and also paid rs 300 extra excluding the batt cost of 3500 and returned the batt to the delhi but it has been more then a week and i am not getting my refund or call from dell i was told tht we will give the refund so now pls help me in getting my total refund of rs 3800 and also take a serious note of the way dell cheats the customers with there careless attitude

                                It was in april 2017 this year that my system stopped working and refused to switch on, to which i did call the customer service and after about 3 calls and a wait time of twenty plus minutes managed to speak to an executive (Since twice i was told to call back as their systems weren't working - which itself was a sign - how can a computer service provider give this as a rebuttal and being dell they refuse to call back) anyhow on a lucky call when i did manage to speak someone - live, i told the associate that the system is in warranty (On-site) and i suspect the mother-board has gone dysfunctional and i need assistance at the earliest, understandable to the little training they offer their executives he asked me umpteen questions, asking me to plug/ unplug, unscrew the back of the system, remove the hard-disk etc, to which i did tell him the power lights turning orange instead of white and i know what it means. He took a request and promised assistance within 24-72 hours (Working) and i did tell him there are no weekends within and i expect assistance within the stipulated time, to which a promise was made which sure was not delivered by them. So now the harrowing experience starts, i wait for four days instead of 3 – all working days since i didn’t get any revert – no calls/ no emails despite a reference number issued. I gave the reference number given and they found nothing with it and in fact mentioned there have been no issues reported by me, which of course infuriated me and i immediately requested for a supervisor/ senior since i couldn’t complain all day long. The beauty – there was no supervisor available and they said to escalate my request i need to call back – simple solution by them, just no assistance. Unfortunately i had to deal with this and i continued with a fresh complaint instead for the issue i was facing and then again he asked me various questions/ opening the system to which i said i want a site visit or suggest i can get my system to a service centre as i didn’t want to go through the drill of investigating on something which already was known. Finally dell reverts back in an e-mail that the component requested is not in the country and it will take 3 months for a replacement.
                                I immediately called customer service and requested for a senior to take the call since i didn’t want to deal with any executive level person since they only read scripts. The supervisor checked notes and the system and finally someone did use the word “ i apologize” which was never put to use till now. He offered that there is no way the system can be repaired earlier than 3 months and i did try and tell him this is my work computer and work stops if this is not working and what is the idea o[censored]sing a computer and that too a brand like dell which boasts of great customer service but offers nothing. I told them to either replace my entire system or expedite the process as 90 days is a lot of time and there is no way i could be without a computer, well nothing helped till the time i spoke with someone in the escalation team since i wanted a resolution at the earliest. I was told incase of an entire system replacement it will take atleast 45 days and then too it will be a refurbished system and after waiting for close to 50 days the mother board was changed to a refurbished one – not a new one. I reported the same to the service centre right then in presence of the service engineer and said this is what they have to offer and this part will be covered for a month or two. I rushed to the dealer from whom i bought the system and he pleaded ignorance stating this is a service matter and we can only suggest about sales.
                                Well with bitterness i agreed to this replacement and started using my system and it worked fine for almost 3 weeks until the screen of the computer turned white and blank, restarting it a few times made no impact so i called the customer service yet again and now to my surprise the associate didn’t continue the call after verifying the express code number stating my system is out of warranty and for any service / assistance i shall be charged. I still hadn’t come to terms with the poor customer service offered by dell in the past that this comes as a blow as i checked my bill and it stated the date of invoice as 23.08.2016 (Bill attached) which was completely unacceptable and i told the associate that its incorrect and he needs to re-check his records and i even offered to email the copy of the invoice to which he said in this case i need to request my dealer to update records with the company. I had no choice but to visit the dealer and all of this in working hours - the idea of buying a good brand computer was being totally defeated neither was i experiencing good quality nor even remotely acceptable service. The dealer ‘premsons’ told me it’s a back-end issue and should be updated within 24 hours and now after 4 days (After repeated visits and calls) i am still where i was trying to get the basics offered by a company in place which is a one year warranty. I again called the customer service and they mentioned they cannot offer anything since my system is not under warranty and on visiting the dealer premsons, he once again pleaded ignorance and said there is nothing they can do.
                                I will be taking legal action against premsons the dealer who sells systems with faulty warranties and even then offers no resolution none whatsoever and simultaneously action against dell for not offering any customer service and not offering any assistance.
                                Finally after days or running around and making calls at the customer service i received an email that the guarantee has been updated and a service request was raised to resolve this query.
                                The engineer who came to replace the screen with a replacement screen refused to do so and said that the entire screen is blank and they would have offered replacement if the screen was partially faulty to which i said i tried calling and raising a complaint with the customer service but they refused to entertain my call stating that the system is not under guarantee and now here i am with a very poor customer service and extremely dissatisfied solution network. There are no physical injuries none whatsoever to the computer and i repeated that ever since the engineer who replaced the mother board the screen had been showing lines and not clear.

                                This is by far the worst company to deal with and certainly dont understand what client retention means or what offering a solution really means.

                                  1. I handed over my dell inspiron laptop (Out of warranty period) on 17 april 2017 (Monday) to dell's authorised service centre: regenersis (India) pvt. Ltd., tilak road, pune (Since it was not switching on). I paid an amount of rs. 999 through my credit card. I did not get any invoice from the authorized centre neither did i get it to my email. [annex 1]
                                  2. I was informed on 17 may 2017 (One month late) (And that too when i followed up several times) that the laptop has a reverse current problem and will cost rs. 6000 for repairs. The authorized centre representative informed that the laptop will be sent to bangalore for repairs and will be available in a weeks time.
                                  3. My laptop was repaired and finally handed over to me on 3 june 2017 (Saturday). I paid an amount of rs. 6000 as repair charges. [annex ii]
                                  3. My laptop suddenly stopped working on 3 july 2017. I immediately handed over my laptop back to the authorized centre (Mentioned above) on 4 june 2017. I was handed over an acknowledgement for the same. [annex iii]
                                  4. I received a phone call on 15 july 2017 (11 days later) from service centre stating that head office of dell has stated that one month warranty of repairs was over and hence the laptop cannot be repaired now. Please note that dell gives three months warranty (Post repairs)
                                  I demand that the repairs amount of rs. 6000 should be handed over to me immediately or the laptop should be repaired immediately free of cost.
                                  Please note that the problem as informed to me was of mother board. The new mother board costs rs. 15000.
                                  The dell representative mentioned that there is no need to replace the motherboard.

                                  I request you to consider the fact that it was just one day that had elapsed. It was not a period of beyond 2 or more months that my laptop stopped functioning. I therefore request you to do the re-repairs and oblige.

                                    Hello concern,
                                    I had purchased dell xps 15 9550 modal laptop from us with 3 years onsite premier warranty.

                                    I am receiving blue screen error since beginning and contacted dell us and india but issue is still pending. One of my dell tracking no is still pending.

                                    Many parts has been replaced and 5 times windows reinstalled but issue is as it is.

                                    Dell technical persons comes, ask to connect device and do nothing and always inform to me that we have done few settings and let see.

                                    Please look this issue and tell dell india to appoint senior technical person to look after this issue and instruct dell to replace dell since device is still under warranty.

                                      Our family is dell preferred customer and have several desktops and laptops of dell.
                                      We ordered desktop-dell inspiron 3268 on online from copuindia for home use. We specified that our main purpose was to have internet access and skype. To our surprise we found that this pc has no inbuilt camera, sound and speakers. When tried to order them but they say they do not have in stock. We cannot understand how people use this computer without these basic accessories, and how such reputed dell company manufacture such computers without these basic accessories. It is also worth noting that when we call dell support service they are very polite but are not trained to direct the call to specific person dealing the matter, so direct from one person to other. We hope you will look into this matter and maintain your reputation.

                                        Please do not buy a dell laptop.

                                        I bought an alienware 15 1.5 year ago. Everything was ok in the warranty period. After that one fine morning it stopped charging. It showed an error message - adapter type unknown. I bought a new adapter worth 4.6k. But it was of no result. I went to dell authorised service center in kolkata
                                        (Regeneris). They told me that they don't have anything to check my laptop. If another alienware comes to them, they can use the adapter to check my laptop, let alone any other problems.
                                        My question is - if dell does not have any infrastructure to service an alienware, then why they sell it? This is absolutely a company policy to sell only and no responsibility afterwards. Such company should be banned in india.
