I have called dell customer care no to order battery for my lattitude laptop. but the executives transferred me for many departments but no one is answered me. i had gave my service vode for more than 10 executives but none served me. here after i will not go for dell. similliarly i had faced simmiliar problem for the past 2 months. no one s ready to send quotation.

    I had purchased a dell Desktop + Monitor yesterday from this particular Dell Showroom in Chennai (1070A, Munusamy Salai, , K K Nagar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600078). This place has horrible customer service. The guy in charge (Mayilswamy) did not have any brochure or any written details mentioning about the product and quoted a random price. When I mentioned the Ubuntu version of the same product is at least a 5000 Rs less online than what he mentioned, he said okay we can give it for 25000 instead of his first suggested value of 27000. Random! When I asked for some written document saying what's dell's price for this - he pulled up some random excel sheet and changed numbers in front of me and showed it! Since I was running out of time and badly needed a computer for my parent's use, I went ahead and purchased it.

    He had promised to deliver the product the same evening by 6 PM and hence I had cancelled my other plans and we kept waiting at home. It was 8 PM, and when we call, he says - Oh I forgot to inform you, its quite tight to give it today but okay i ll send some one. And then at 9.30 PM when we call, there was no response and after some time he started giving excuses saying, they were bringing the desktop + monitor in a 2 wheeler (I wonder why they can't hire an auto to deliver a 25, 000 Rs DELL computer - Seriously, Is this Pizza Business ?!) and the delivery boy did not wear a helmet and got arrested. The next day he promised to come again and I have waited for than a couple of hours now and I'm thinking of actually calling my credit card company and asking them to cancel this transaction saying its a fraud one.

    @ Dell - You are a well known and a trusted brand. Please pay attention to whom you deal with. This Chennai showroom seriously needs some attention! I asked them if they were just a dealer or an actual dell place and he says its an actual dell showroom. I would rather buy another brand than having to deal with such unprofessional people!

    They delivered the product later after some delay. Mayilswamy personally called us and apologized for the confusion. He said it was due to improper communication within the sales and delivery teams in the company.

      Laptopzone care in Spencer plaza chennai is selling fake items...they sold me a Dell laptop through eBay..they gave me 1 year warranty...but they gave false warranty...they sold laptop in August 2016 only...but it was shipped from Canada in November 2016 according to data provided on dell website with serial number of my laptop...so they are fraud and cheating people with false promises...plz get me justice

        My name is Prasad Hublikar, my laptop service tag no. 8V8H7BS
        I had submitted my laptop in Thane dell service Center near talao pali, thane west

        Engineer at the said service center had suggested me to replace mother board of mentioned laptop and gave surety that this will resolve the issue, for sure.

        I had spoken to representative at said service center to make sure that replacing of mother board will solve the issue and paid full amount on the spot and had got three months warranty.
        I must inform you that I had gave my laptop to replace mother board. I had paid rs 14000 on 14th November 2016,
        I had waited patiently and co-oprated with the staff of dell there after received my laptop after two month that 12th January 2017.
        after that i had hardly use the laptop for few days and again same mother board issue arise.
        this mother board problem has happen twice after first received my laptop.

        Now they had replaced it for third time and asking me the warranty is applicable from date which i had received first time. i had not yet collected my laptop

        I need my warranty of 90 days as last when i will collect it . As i had just used it for few days. Maximum time it was in Dell Service center.

        The service is not at all satisfactory, mother board part has getting some of the other issue. Their is no proper communication or acknowledgment from service center. they said their will be communication through email but i had not received a single email from dell.

        I request you to give me 90 days warranty from day when i will recollect my laptop.
        If it get any issue again or if i dint get 90 days warranty, than i will discontinue taking service from said service center . Also i want my money back or else I won't pick-up the mentioned laptop and I will have to definitely take up these issue 'Consumer Court' against dell for wasting my money and time is such dis-satisfactory service.

        I had attached the receipt of 14000 and screen shot of message which i had received from dell.

          I would like to express my disappointment for Dell product and one of its authorised service centre.
          I am using Dell 5548 touch screen laptop bought in January 2016. Its just more than a year and rightside hinge between keyboard and screen came out. I went to Dell authorised service center in Marathalli Bangalore (301 & 302, Sigma Arcade, Old Airport Road, Marathahalli).
          The service center people told me it will be charged Rs4800. They told that this is a common issue in this model. This is manufacturing defect and earlier they were charging 5700. They said that they have to replace the whole keyboard panel.

          Now my first grievance is disppointing quality of the product and that too is being charged heavily. I have been using dell laptop since 2009 and it still works. With that trust I bought this one. However if this is the quality and customer service, I dont think I would ever go for Dell again.

          My second grievance is towards the mentioned service center who I believe are cheating people by using old/used replacement parts. The keyboard panel they replaced with has nick/dent in the side which is not visible if you look at the laptop from top. Unfortunately Its my fault that I did not check the replacement properly and only noticed it while using later that night. Next day morning when I took it to show them, they misbehaved and plainly blamed me. I have not experienced such horrible customer handling yet. I came back but I am highly disappointed with how Dell has authorised such service centers. I can only feel how your customer service has been deterioting.

              I register complaint on 23/02/2017 #[protected], in continuation of past complaint #[protected]. complaint#[protected], was not resolved but closed from your end, though honoring DELL procedure again register complaint #[protected]. in which it took one week to prove problem with main board which replaced under warranty. now this complaint also closed without solution due to some rule of DELL.

              again honoring procedure re-register compliant#[protected]. all detail was share with Ms.Nancy Mandal, today Person[May be Mr.Rahul] called and asked to check the functionality of laptop again, while same checks were done day before.

              while denied to do again, executive threaten to cancel service without solution.

              now seeking solution for my laptop so I can utilize it for the purpose we bought.

                    Less than a year after I purchased the above Laptop, the Hard disk failure
                    became defective.I was on a long
                    international tour and could not contact any DELL Service Center.

                    I requested DELL via e-mail, to please investigate this matter and advise me the next steps. Obviously all this has happened due to some errors/ lapses. I
                    would like to know who are esponsible for these, what action DELL is
                    proposing to take and what action/ legal recourse is available to me.

                    To this I received a reply saying
                    "This request is being closed.

                    Thank you for your reply. However, there is nothing we can do for you.
                    You did not purchase the computer from Dell and our records show that this service tag is from the US and is on hold and cannot be transferred, there is no manufacturer warranty on this item.

                    You will need to work with the company that you purchased this from to see if there is any warranty from them that they will honor.

                    This is being closed as transfer is not possible.

                      I purchased Dell Inspiron 7548 on 26/2/2017 by visiting Dell exclusive showroom in Kammanahalli, Banagalore ( Dealer name: 5 Computers) made a upfront card payment. After we switched on the system for the first time after getting it home and charging it was showing " battery permanently failed, needs replacement". We immediately took the system back to the dealer and dealer informed us that it is only software up gradation that is required, they will do the same and return us the laptop next day. On 28/02/2017 i get call from dealer, who tells us that the battery is faulty and needs replacement, which will take a weeks time. Meanwhile, We contacted the Dell customer care to inform and check on solution, we were informed that the laptop warranty is expired and dealer as sent request to extend warranty, which took us to surprise. Now the dealer says he will return the laptop and the battery will be replaced in due course by dell executive directly. We requested for refund or replacement of laptop instead the dealer told us there is no refund or return policy.
                      We went for dell laptop with all trust on the brand but really disappointed with the attitude and harassment we faced.

                        I have bought a dell alptop 7 days back dell 5559 series fullhd 1920*1080 resolution
                        as soon as I started it there was a patch on screen wifi card is not working properly
                        videos are blury
                        writing appear blury like when open device manager or on internet explorer some part appears clear and some part pixels are blured updated drivers everything still not solved any problem even the video are not clear after spending 62000 approx. on these laptop for fhd vision I get blury video and blury writing

                        went to dell the representative told me that every 5559 series full hd laptop has these problem the writing would appear blury only
                        SO IF DELL ALREADY KNOWS THESE IS THE PROBLEM THEN WHY ARENT THEY SOLVING THE PROBLEM OR THEY SHOULD DISCONTINUE THE PRODUCT INSTEAD THEY ARE SELLING IT OPENLY AND ALSO MARKETING ABOUT ITS FULL HD CAPACITY

                          I purchased dell laptop on 30th may 2016. Since then i am facing problem on this laptop but despite of so many complaints, dell is doing nothing. even we got harassed in sec 17 chandigarh service center. both dell customer care and dell service center dont bother about client care. they just sell and feel like job finished.
                          1. sec 17 chandigarh dell service center harassed me twice, they saying dell is not giving any benefit to them, they just doing charity / SEWA . What was the need to use these words infront of client.
                          2. dell not giving any service despite of so many complaints regarding hardware and software.
                          3. no matter if client is in hospital, they say they will not provide home service, we need to go service center for any problem.
                          4. if problem is regarding hardware they change software, if problem if regarding keyboard they change touchpad. lol.
                          5. they say 2 yr warranty at offer time but then provide only one year warranty

                            Myself engineer from Chennai metro rail(PSU). We are using 11 DELL lattitude E6440 laps for train maintenance. One of our LAP battery got dead which is confirmed by dell technical person. So i asked for quote. But i got reply that as follows

                            After knowing the failure and my model no i cant get online quote for battry which is compatible for my lap. i spent 3 days for this failure still i need to spend more time to find the compatible battery details then i hav to quote and purchase. instead of suggesting website why cant they check and send us quote.

                              Hi i purchase lapi dell pentium and just 3 month before i suffer problem form same month when i purchase i visit in customare service centre and they install window again but now i suffer same problem of hang when and i am not able to do any work this time its very useless for me i show u the images and vedio plz dont purchase dell i hate my first exp with dell and this is the last if anyone can solve this issue plz let me know bez how many time i will go customer care

                                I purchased laptop on 12/02/2017 but when i open my laptop on 13/02/2017 its screen light not working. i called to dell on 14/02/2017 he say your screen will be replace in 2 days. but he came to me on 18/02/2017. and when he replaced screen there is no change in my problem. he say other issue happen here. i found there is a petch missing in laptop. he unable to fixed my problem.
                                I very disappointed with dell. This is my 3rd laptop from dell. Bad service ever i seen. contact for more information on [protected]

                                Please find the attached invoice.
                                I very disappointed with dell. I will never purchase any other product of dell in future and i will not suggest any one for buying dell product I want my laptop replace in a week. or refund my money. If you cant do it i will go for legal process. Please understand my problem .
                                I brought my laptop on 12/02/2017 from croma, faridabad, HR. but when i trying to operate laptop on 13/02/2017 it is not perform well. barkath i was very satisfied with your wording. Please solved my problem in 2 or 3 days. Otherwise i will go for legal process with dell. I am using dell product from last 10 year. and this is my 3rd laptop from dell.
                                Again I want to say i very disappointing with dell product. I think, i received a defective product. Please contact.

                                When clilck on window start button it shut down the computer . its not update auto and some other softerware problems are faced last 30 days
                                More than 3 months i am complaining against dell.my issue not resolved.its really poor service from the concerned authority.they are lagging the issue.am attaching the invoice and there customer mail details.

                                    I bought Dell Inspiron 5368 Laptop yesterday night 11th Feb 2017 from CROMA Store - Madhapur. As it was at 10pm in the night, I could not check the entire functionality and just the activation of MS Office was done by the store personnel. when I got the laptop at home and tried the touchscreen. Touchscreen of the laptop is not working. I am really very disappointed. I want my laptop problem to be addressed and would like to have a new laptop. How can Dell be so irresponsible for not checking the laptops which they are sending to retailers. I want this to be addressed at high priority.

                                        I purchased Dell laptop some time back.
                                        The charger was giving some issues, and some time back it sparked, and since then it hasnt been functioning.
                                        Despite promise of turn around time of 2-3 days of addressing complaint, its 2 weeks already.
                                        No one replies to my mail, and customer care gives all sorts of excuses- "all parts but charger of laptop are not available in India"
