I have been really frustrated by the Dell service. I gave my laptop for diagnostics at the dell service centre on 17th April 2016. Two days later they informed me about motherboard replacement as the solution for which I had to pay Rs.15, 000. I did so Immediately because I needed the laptop at the earliest. They said i would get the laptop back by 9th May. Then they started throwing their tantrums. On 9th they said I would get it on 12th and then on 15th and then 19th. Now that i called again, they say that I 'might' get it on 22nd.
Dear Dell, I am a student and i have my exams going on right now. I came to you on time and made sure you had ample time to deliver i to me within time too. It has been 5 times that I have been fooled by your service men. My work and exams are suffering due to your poor service. I do not live in Delhi and have to further fly to Bangalore now. And just because of your mistreatment, my whole schedule is suffering, leaving aside the extra monetary losses that are occuring.
I know you still won't get it and my complaint would go unanswered. But there is no other option for me right now. If you happen to come across this, please get back so I can provide you with the further details about the issue.

    I did purchase a dell inspiron laptop on 10 april 2017 which speakers were already damage so i informed to dell service center on 12 april 2017 and after a long and exhausted struggle dell replace my laptop on 3 may 2017 and after 9 days on 12 may 2017 this laptop also got a smoke and short circuit problem in it cooling fan so i again informed to dell service center my complain no is[protected] and my service request no is [protected].First they ignored my problem and say they only can repair my laptop but i want back my money at any rate because it happen twice with me when dell did not give me a genuine device than why i do suffer . IT is only dell responsibility to refund my money but they are saying dealer will refund my money but warranty card is issued by dell regarding my laptop than how dell can say so . i want to resolve my problem as soon as possible please help me.

    Sir I did purchase a dell inspiron 3567 laptop on 10 April 2017 which speakers were already damage (manufacturing problem) so I informed to dell service center on 12 april 2017 and after a long effort they replaced my laptop on 3 may 2017 and after 9 days this laptop also got a short circuit and smoke problem in this cooling fan so I again made complain on 12 may 2017my complain no is[protected] and my service request no is [protected] but they ignored my complain and close it on 19 may 2017. Today on 22may 2017 they called me and pressured on me that I should repair my laptop otherwise they will not be resolve my problem But I want to say that why I should repair new laptop ? I want my money back at any rate because it happend twice with me when dell did not give me genuine device and I always co-operate as a customer now I am puzzled because I phased this from last 35 days.At least they are not talking with me in right way. They are saying they had already replace my laptop so they will not responsible for the problem but the replaced laptop got problem within 10 days and it's a hardware problem and it's dell's fault. They are taking too much time to resolve my problem I want my money back at any rate please help me regarding this.

    my complain no is[protected] last time I talked to dell service center on 22-may 2017 they pressured on me to repair my new laptop but I gave them 2 options first -refund my money and second-exchange my laptop but they did not give me positive response till now (25may 2017).I am totally puzzled with Dell poor service which is not customer friendly.they did not give me genuine device 2 times and I am tired now with Dell's poor service from last 40 days my first laptop had manufacture problem which was replaced by Dell on 3 may 2017 and after 9 days on 12 may this laptop also got a hardware problem.so I want my money back or replace my laptop.

      I had contacted Dell for the below problem but there hasn't been any action since 10 days. There has been enough emails and call exchanged but none of them seems to have a solution for it. From the beginning, it is been asked for the same problem stated below but they are routeing to technical departments. Finally, they asked me the details about my laptop and to which address the part needs to be delivered. I had been sending reminders to update but no one hesitates to respond. I concluded to have this incident filed here so that there would be someone who will be noticing complaints.

      Problem Statement:
      LCD display broken need replacement along with installation at a specified address. The product is out of warranty and ready to pay charges.

        I went to dell service center and gave laptop on 09/05/2017 and was informed that the laptop will be delivered within two days and I will be informed. Unfortunately no one ever bothered to call and inform me anything. When I contacted, they kept delaying and over time kept asking more and more money for fixing the issue without giving any reason.

        Very very bad customer care service is being delivered. Please look into the matter so that these people don't bluff inocent unsuspecting customers and harass them like they are currently doing.

        Kindly ensure that I get my laptop back which has still net being delivered. These people don't even bother to contact and inform and keep delaying things as much as they can.

        Very poor quality of service.

        Mother board problem, Our desktop is model-OPTIPLEX 390, our IT engineers declared the motherboard is failed, please replace the same as soon as possible. While switching on green light is continuing but monitor displaying is only black, we can not see any thing in monitor as it is totally black screen displayed.

          I had purchased Dell Laptop (Inspiron 3537 Laptop in the name of Bhargav Kumar on Aug 11, 2014 from a Chennai based retailer having service tag JXLRQZ1. Currently my system got some screen problem and in dell website it was showing my system is under warranty so i reached to customer service Support and they said that my laptop warranty is already expired on May 4, 2014 the exact day before I contact them, but is absolutely wrong. My bill is not updated online as per Customer Support of dell, they said they will help only after the Bill gets updated online. So Please help me in this as my warranty is going to expire soon...

            Subject: Complaint regarding receipt of Rs.999/- & Rs.6, 000- not received.

            With ref. to above, I wish to inform you that I have paid Rs.999- on 27/4/2017 & Rs.6, 000/- on 8/5/2017 towards Repairs of my Dell Laptop at your "Authorised Service Center"at Talaopali, Near New English School, Thane (West), Maharashtra.

            I have collected my Laptop on 10/5/2017 from the above Service Center.

            However, I have still not received the receipts of the same. The person at the Counter told that the owner of the Service Center is on leave due to illness and the receipts can not be generated till his resumption.

            I think that the person maybe ill., but this is not the reason for non generation of receipts. The receipts should be generated immediately on receipt of the amount paid by the customer. "Whether you have come across any complaint that the machine accepting card (Debit or Credit) at the Service Center is not working properly, due to which Customer Service is held up ?".

            I feel that proper authority should be given to somebody else for generating and sending the receipt promptly. I have never expected such Service from Dell.

            I have already registered the complaint in this regard on [protected] and the Complaint No. is[protected] given by Mr.Vikas (the person attending the above helpline no.).

            Kindly look into the matter.

            If not related to your Dept. Kindly forward the same to the concerned.

              Dear team,

              Dell inspiron 3558 3000series

              You can check it off with this service tag how much i had serviced the system and last time the service center people changed the mother board and the driver
              Now the dvd drive is not supporting the video files. I bought this system last october 29th, 2016. Within this period the system is complained for 3 or 5 times and i am not in a situation to walk to your service center for troubleshooting. As per the compliance issue and also spoken to your technician, he is noted that if it is complained again, you have to exchange this laptop with a new one. Hope will resolve it soon.

              Technical team have worked for a week regarding my complaint issue of dvd is not working, but as of now we have not recognised the exact complaint of my laptop.As per their advice, we have done the windows reset, but unfornately the same error is happening and this is the second time the service team is formating the system.I already explained the team that the laptop is a complained from the purchased date and i dont want to continue with this.

              The Consumer Rights Act makes it an implied term of the contract that goods be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.

              As my laptop in a warranty period, I am entitled to have the laptop to be replaced and I also require you to confirm whether you will arrange for the laptop to be replaced

                I had purchased a monitor U2515H from a dealer on 29.04.17. Within 4 days of purchase, I realised the stand of this monitor wasn't swivelling by the 45 degrees each side (refer page 48 o[censored]ser manual). I took up the issue with Dell, but they said a problem with the stand does not qualify as a 'technical' complaint and they'd not be able to send a technician to attend to it. If required, I'd have to claim warranty and return the whole monitor together with stand and Dell would replace it, maybe with a refurbished unit. I do not a refurbished monitor, since the problem is only with the stand, but Dell helpline said that do not have a policy of exchanging only the stand.

                  I have had issues ever since I got my laptop in regards to getting help
                  about 1 1/2 years ago I was having several issues was told finally after a marathon of days of calls to send in for depot repair ok fine may get somewhere
                  so in it goes to depot repair in texas, a week or so later I get it back poorly packed I might add just put in box no padding nothing!
                  the laptop wouldn't even turn on!
                  so I call and got the same supervisor who swore up and down and promised everything would be checked fixed blah blah he laughed at me when I said the laptop wouldn't even turn on
                  all the depot repair is ( spoiler alert) is a hard drive replacement ( 5 minute job) and they ( dell) put in a fault hard drive so a second hard drive was needed to fix there alledged repair ( they also claimed they ran various checks test etc... odd how that happened when it wouldn't even turn on
                  fast forward to this year took over 2 weeks of calls and nagging for them to replace a mother board
                  my current issue ( finally getting fixed I think) took over a month of calls
                  my advice is your best bet is to file a complaint with the better business burea
                  they can careless at all about anything
                  rather sad when I know more than they do and often have to point out there mistakes
                  give you a run down on how they work
                  they don't really have a clue what they do except for whats on there script, ask them something that's not on there script or a question that involves a real answer and they are lost
                  they will find any excuse to not do anything and will hang up on you ( repeatedly )
                  think talking to a supervisor might help? no they are no better ( had one supervisor say to me " why am I wasting his time") and according to one supervisor they cant be fired so rather telling why they do nothing
                  so if your lucky and I mean lucky you may get someone who actually knows what they are doing other than that your stuck repeating yourself over and over
                  they seem to have an obsession with accessing your pc, claim its trouble shooting ( like we cant do anything they can) rather odd how there answer to what they will do to fix anything is check for driver updates ( some drivers not updated since 2015 ) like we cant or haven't done that already other than that there answer varies and usually just babble
                  they do how ever push there program ( dell tech concierge program) that they claim will fix registry and other issues ( do a search on that program)
                  they are far too happy for that why?
                  they will claim at start oh its free not to worry and your issue will be fixed
                  but the catch is they will than want you to pay for the program ( which seems to find an issue somewhere oddly) the price I see varies from 160 to 250 ish range so cant say exactly what it cost for there program ( bloatware at best)
                  and if your too much of an disturbance to them they will "escalate" your issue
                  translation you expect to much and we will do nothing
                  you get there alledged higher dept. who do nothing but make there excuses and blame you for everything and of course hang up on you
                  they do not explain anything other than there own propaganda ( my term)
                  there corp office is no better in fact would say the same result
                  and they will cancel your warranty if you dare don't do as they want
                  they love ( all of them) use the excuse " not cooperating" which means nothing more than we ( you ) are not doing what they want how they want when they want or dare expect an answer or help
                  just my opinion but ever since they went private they have got a lot worse

                    Dear Team,

                    I have purchased Dell Inspiron Core i3 5th Gen - (4 GB/1 TB
                    HDD/Linux) Z565155HIN9/Z565155UIN9 3558
                    from Flipkart on 16/02/2017, which i had received damage piece, (LAN port was not working). I had logged a complaint against the same to Dell customer care, wherein service was given with commitment as no more issues will accure as they have replace Mother board.

                    But now have scree issue. My laptop is not even 3 months old and have so many issues.

                    When asked for replacement, they have denied to do so..
                    and came up with so many terms and conditions which was not intimated to me in the beginning.

                    I am very unhappy about the product received from DELL though Flipkart (which is damaged laptop)

                    I had Spent Rs. 27, 000 and have so many problems with Dell Laptop,

                    No one is supporting to get replacement. Kindly request you to please help me here.

                    I am very tired calling customer care on every month for one or the other issue.

                    This is affecting my work. Last month for 8 day my work is affected and now current month they are asking me to hand over laptop for 3 days. which is hampering my work and performance.

                      On 13th of April, a technician came to change the motherboard of my out of warranty Dell laptop, which had arrived by courier and for which parts and service I paid Rs15, 000.

                      After a few days, I opened the laptop to start transferring all the data from my temp laptop to my now repaired Dell. I soon noticed that a few things were now very wrong. After the "repair", the following two things are now defective:

                      1. the back lighting of the keyboard no longer works.
                      2. the brightness of the screen keeps of going up and down without me giving any instructions. It fluctuates.

                      I called Dell a few days later to complain. I was told that I could book a new technician and part and that it would cost me Rs3000. That the guarantee was for the motherboard!!! You can image the shock. I can't believe that I am being asked to pay for this. Dell technician comes and breaks my laptop, and I am asked to pay for the repair!

                      I asked to place a complaint and the Customer Service person told me someone would call back within two hours, which never happened. I asked for an email ID where I could complain and they replied that there were no email id for complaints. Thus it took me a while to find where to send this.

                      Another non-Dell technician told me that the wires connecting the main body to the screen are extremely fragile and it's common for things to go wrong when opening a laptop.

                      What is also unbelievable, is that things keeps on going wrong with this supposedly high end laptop that is not even two years old. First the hard drive crashed in December. Then the motherboard in Feb. And now this. What next...?

                      This is my first Dell laptop. Previously, in order, I've had: IBM, Compaq, Toshiba, Toshiba, Vaio and now Dell. All my previous laptops lasted 4 years minimum without any trouble. This one from Dell lasted only 18 months before everything started to go wrong.

                      I hope you'll take adequate actions to sort this out and get my laptop back in order: the back lighting of the keyboard and the fluctuating brightness.

                        Hi sir,
                        My dell laptop's (Inspiron 13, 7000 series, service tag:3d5lh52) keyboard has been short circuited. Its touch screen is also not working properly. But everytime i visit local service center of dell, they do not help me properly. Everytime they say the would contact me when they will bring new screen, but then they just froget about my complaint. They didnt even register my problem. Please look into this case..

                          I had purchased Dell Laptop (Vostro 3558 I3 4th gen 1Tb 2GB W8 CC Black) in the name of Yogesh chauhan on June 8, 2016 from Vidur & Co. Pvt Ltd in Nehru Place delhi having service tag 41VV262. Currently my DVD Writer is not working so i reached to customer service Support and they said that my laptop warranty is already expired on February 2016 but I purchased laptop on June 8, 2016.                             I purchased my laptop about two years ago. After free upgrade from windows 8.1 to windows 10 after a few months its started slowing ultimately the OS crashed. I used Ubuntu for while but due to lack of many softwares I switched back to Windows. Once again it crashed as usual. So I visited a Dell Outlet (Address: New Nallakunta Main Road, Tilaknagar, Hyderabad - 500044). The retailer's name was Azeem (Phone number: [protected]). He took my laptop for servicing and charged 800 for that. The problem is stated was Windows 10 wasn't compatible for my laptop. He again install 10 and stated that the problem was solved. Just in a day the OS crashed again and when I went back he took the laptop and next day he said that there was problem with my HDD and changed the HDD which costed 4500. After one week the OS crashed again. This time he stated that there was problem with my Graphic card and it needs to be changed. I asked him if he could repair it and he said no once and later spoke to the technician and said that he would try. He kept the laptop for a week and charged 2000 for repair. Now after 3 weeks once again the OS crashed. The first retailer Azeem fled the store and a new guy was there when I again went back with my father. This new guy shows no respect and he in return started shouting and arguing with me and my dad. He even stated as I quote " Nuvu matladatam rechukondi" translation "You first learn how to talk".

                            So I hereby request you take an immediate action againt the store owners.

                            i just spoke to Sagar Mehta your customer care representative and was told that the warranty had been wrongly updated by the Dealer Vidur & Co Pvt Ltd, however I have attached the bill of purchase made by me from the Dealer Dated 07/06/2016 which is very well in the warranty period

                                I have 1 dell inspiron 3542 laptop. Some days back i noticed that it was not charging & the battery indicator shows battery not detected. When i phoned dell support at 7 pm on 9th april 2017 i was asked to contact in their working hours which was told by them to be between 9 am to 6 pm. Next day i. E. On 10/04/2017 i contacted them with my complain no.[protected] & deputed one technical persons also to understand their instructions. According to them there was some problem in charging port. However after doing some juggling with bios etc. As per their instructions, finally the battery was detected & it began to charge. Now since my laptop is under warranty as it is with in 1 year of purchase - i wanted full time solution but was surprised to find 1 invoice from their sales division amounting to rs.5000/=. On protesting i was told that since the battery is not completely down but the port is loose it is not covered under warranty?.

                                The laptop functioned normally from 10/04/17 mid afternoon till 14/04/17. On 15/04/17 the battery indicator flashed ‘plugged in not charging’. I contacted again dell support over the phone & again run diagnostics as per their instructions –now this time it flashed battery – the battery is reaching the end of its usable life with error code[protected] & validation code 70409. Now the person at the dell’s support end told me that since their tools are not working he can not provide me a complain no. & i should call again tomorrow i. E. On 16/04/17 & inform the support staff about the error code & i would not be subjected to run diagnostics tools again. Promptly i again contacted dell support on 16/04/17 in the afternoon but was surprised to be told that their tools are down & pls. Contact again after 2 hours or tomorrow to get solution. I dialled again on 16/04/17 itself in the evening & the support person after hearing the problem first promised to send the engineer with the new battery & asked me have the purchase invoice ready so that the engineer should check that it is within 1 years warranty which i promptly agreed. Now suddenly the person said to me that he is restarting the tools & if possible he will give me the complain no. Otherwise i would call next day for doing the needful. He asked for my express service code. On feeding the same his entire version changed & he told that there is no battery issue but - “it’s a loose port issue due to uses”. Now see my laptop is in 1 year’s warranty and it is used 2-3 times a week in my home it is beyond my imagination that since it is used & its a loose port issue as per your personnel’s explanation so it is not covered under the warranty. Then whether it denotes that dell laptops should not be used at all - otherwise warranty would be void?. I also emailed the mobile snapshot of battery error code to “ [protected]@dell.com” but never got any reply.

                                From the above narrative it gives a idea that since my laptop is with in 1 year’s warranty, you do not want to attend it free of cost. No engineer was ever deputed to check the laptop once. The battery problem error code was completely ignored as it did not suited you. Now such a practice does not suits a company like dell’s reputation & i humbly request you to look into the matter & sort out the matter other wise i would be compelled to take up the matter with higher authorities/social media/consumer forum etc.

                                Sir i purached new del laptop 5000 serires yet not register shopkeper register to many time but after 2 days of registration an email came that your registration is failed

                                  I puchase dell inspiron 15 3542{470}, i3/4gb/1tb/dos, s/n# 27bnp52, y561524uin9 in the name o[censored]mesh lalwani on[protected] from suntronic computers {g-3&4, s. S tower new coloney janti market ext. M. I road jaipur rajasthan 302001 }.in my laptop speaker are not working so i reached to custmer service center and they said that my laptop warranty is over on[protected] but i purchase my lapee on[protected] so he said that bill is not updated online so please update and than we can replace the speakers so please help me in this...!!!

                                    I purchased a Dell Inspiron Laptop on March 12th 2017 (Service Tag Number 705J0F2) which was delivered on March 20th 2017. From the onset there was no sound coming from the laptop (the normal system sounds). We tried to find out ways on trouble shooting the problem and unfortunately there was nothing we could do from our end.
                                    We reached out to Dell customer care and after an analysis they said that the speakers are faulty and they cannot replace them even within warranty period as the software that were installed as a part of our project has damaged the speakers.
                                    There was one software that was installed, that was also after 15 days from the date the machine started working. They are taking this ground for denying replacement of the faulty machine. When asked how they are determining that this software destroyed their hardware, they simply said that as per Dell policy they cannot replace.

                                      My self suresh Kumar I bought a Dell inspire laptop in 2015 from dhanbad (JH).Presently I have transfered to bilaspur (CH).And my laptop has out of order since six months, and Iam going to your dell service center at bilaspur since six months, but your service center response is very pure and Iam suffering avoidness by your service center. all time he said to me I noted your complaint when spare parts will come then I will inform you but till date he didn't inform me.i have been went there so many times., inspired my laptop has not repaired to till date.

                                        I purchase a dell laptop on 10\4\2017 which speakers are damage regarding this i complain to dell service centre to replace my laptop but they are saying they only can repair the speakers not replace this but as per policy they should replace laptop if there is any problem related to hardware. my complain no is[protected].I do not not want to repair new laptop because it is in initial days .

                                        I PURCHASE a laptop on 10\4\2017 which speakers are already damage after it i complain for this on 13\4\2017 to dell service center my complain no.is[protected] and my dell service request no. is [protected].( as per rule if any problem come with in 7 days company should replace whole system) service center employee are saying they can not replace this they want to repair this but i do not want to repair my new laptop because it have a hardware problem and company responsible for this not me. I am a ias aspirant my exams are near i do not have more time to face this complicated process because dell employees are not cooperative in nature.whole process is very exhausting to me please help me.

                                        I purchase a inspiron 15, 3567 laptop on 10\04\2017 which speaker was already damage for which dell company is responsible .I informed about it to dell service center on 13\042017 my complain no is[protected] and service request no. is [protected].I want to replace my laptop but they want to repair my laptop but i do not want to repair it because it has a hardware problem and only and only dell responsible for this.I call many time to service center for this but they are not talking to me in proper manner and they are pressure me to repair it .BUT at any coast i want to replace this because they cheated me. please help me regarding this issue.
                                        Hi, I order laptop from Dell website on April 4th and received on 5th April. When i switch on the laptop is not working showing some error and one screw got missed in back panel.
                                        As per return policy damage/defective product can take for same return and but they are claiming software defect is not claimed in that.Please help me refund the laptop.
                                        I have purchased dell product in August 2016. when i was closing laptop below joint connection flipped out. i went to dell service center in Hyderabad near CTC building and also called dell technical team. No one responded properly(no registered my complaint).
                                        Tab sim not work. Sim not working. .
