Dear sir,

Window not getting installed in my laptop dell inspiron 15, and dvd writer not opening get jammed. Window getting corrupt automatically.
Display get worst, not visible, and blink again and again. Thats why laptop not working properly. Please give your input so the proublem may be sattle down soonly.     It was in april 2017 this year that my system stopped working and refused to switch on, to which i did call the customer service and after about 3 calls and a wait time of twenty plus minutes managed to speak to an executive (Since twice i was told to call back as their systems weren't working - which itself was a sign - how can a computer service provider give this as a rebuttal and being dell they refuse to call back) anyhow on a lucky call when i did manage to speak someone - live, i told the associate that the system is in warranty (On-site) and i suspect the mother-board has gone dysfunctional and i need assistance at the earliest, understandable to the little training they offer their executives he asked me umpteen questions, asking me to plug/ unplug, unscrew the back of the system, remove the hard-disk etc, to which i did tell him the power lights turning orange instead of white and i know what it means. He took a request and promised assistance within 24-72 hours (Working) and i did tell him there are no weekends within and i expect assistance within the stipulated time, to which a promise was made which sure was not delivered by them. So now the harrowing experience starts, i wait for four days instead of 3 – all working days since i didn’t get any revert – no calls/ no emails despite a reference number issued. I gave the reference number given and they found nothing with it and in fact mentioned there have been no issues reported by me, which of course infuriated me and i immediately requested for a supervisor/ senior since i couldn’t complain all day long. The beauty – there was no supervisor available and they said to escalate my request i need to call back – simple solution by them, just no assistance. Unfortunately i had to deal with this and i continued with a fresh complaint instead for the issue i was facing and then again he asked me various questions/ opening the system to which i said i want a site visit or suggest i can get my system to a service centre as i didn’t want to go through the drill of investigating on something which already was known. Finally dell reverts back in an e-mail that the component requested is not in the country and it will take 3 months for a replacement.
    I immediately called customer service and requested for a senior to take the call since i didn’t want to deal with any executive level person since they only read scripts. The supervisor checked notes and the system and finally someone did use the word “ i apologize” which was never put to use till now. He offered that there is no way the system can be repaired earlier than 3 months and i did try and tell him this is my work computer and work stops if this is not working and what is the idea o[censored]sing a computer and that too a brand like dell which boasts of great customer service but offers nothing. I told them to either replace my entire system or expedite the process as 90 days is a lot of time and there is no way i could be without a computer, well nothing helped till the time i spoke with someone in the escalation team since i wanted a resolution at the earliest. I was told incase of an entire system replacement it will take atleast 45 days and then too it will be a refurbished system and after waiting for close to 50 days the mother board was changed to a refurbished one – not a new one. I reported the same to the service centre right then in presence of the service engineer and said this is what they have to offer and this part will be covered for a month or two. I rushed to the dealer from whom i bought the system and he pleaded ignorance stating this is a service matter and we can only suggest about sales.
    Well with bitterness i agreed to this replacement and started using my system and it worked fine for almost 3 weeks until the screen of the computer turned white and blank, restarting it a few times made no impact so i called the customer service yet again and now to my surprise the associate didn’t continue the call after verifying the express code number stating my system is out of warranty and for any service / assistance i shall be charged. I still hadn’t come to terms with the poor customer service offered by dell in the past that this comes as a blow as i checked my bill and it stated the date of invoice as 23.08.2016 (Bill attached) which was completely unacceptable and i told the associate that its incorrect and he needs to re-check his records and i even offered to email the copy of the invoice to which he said in this case i need to request my dealer to update records with the company. I had no choice but to visit the dealer and all of this in working hours - the idea of buying a good brand computer was being totally defeated neither was i experiencing good quality nor even remotely acceptable service. The dealer ‘premsons’ told me it’s a back-end issue and should be updated within 24 hours and now after 4 days (After repeated visits and calls) i am still where i was trying to get the basics offered by a company in place which is a one year warranty. I again called the customer service and they mentioned they cannot offer anything since my system is not under warranty and on visiting the dealer premsons, he once again pleaded ignorance and said there is nothing they can do.
    I will be taking legal action against premsons the dealer who sells systems with faulty warranties and even then offers no resolution none whatsoever and simultaneously action against dell for not offering any customer service and not offering any assistance.
    Finally after days or running around and making calls at the customer service i received an email that the guarantee has been updated and a service request was raised to resolve this query.
    The engineer who came to replace the screen with a replacement screen refused to do so and said that the entire screen is blank and they would have offered replacement if the screen was partially faulty to which i said i tried calling and raising a complaint with the customer service but they refused to entertain my call stating that the system is not under guarantee and now here i am with a very poor customer service and extremely dissatisfied solution network. There are no physical injuries none whatsoever to the computer and i repeated that ever since the engineer who replaced the mother board the screen had been showing lines and not clear.

    This is by far the worst company to deal with and certainly dont understand what client retention means or what offering a solution really means.

      I am a regular customer of dell since last 6 years.
      1. I handed over my dell inspiron laptop (Out of warranty period) on 17 april 2017 (Monday) to dell's authorised service centre: regenersis (India) pvt. Ltd., tilak road, pune (Since it was not switching on). I paid an amount of rs. 999 through my credit card. I did not get any invoice from the authorized centre neither did i get it to my email. [annex 1]
      2. I was informed on 17 may 2017 (One month late) (And that too when i followed up several times) that the laptop has a reverse current problem and will cost rs. 6000 for repairs. The authorized centre representative informed that the laptop will be sent to bangalore for repairs and will be available in a weeks time.
      3. My laptop was repaired and finally handed over to me on 3 june 2017 (Saturday). I paid an amount of rs. 6000 as repair charges. [annex ii]
      3. My laptop suddenly stopped working on 3 july 2017. I immediately handed over my laptop back to the authorized centre (Mentioned above) on 4 june 2017. I was handed over an acknowledgement for the same. [annex iii]
      4. I received a phone call on 15 july 2017 (11 days later) from service centre stating that head office of dell has stated that one month warranty of repairs was over and hence the laptop cannot be repaired now. Please note that dell gives three months warranty (Post repairs)
      I demand that the repairs amount of rs. 6000 should be handed over to me immediately or the laptop should be repaired immediately free of cost.
      Please note that the problem as informed to me was of mother board. The new mother board costs rs. 15000.
      The dell representative mentioned that there is no need to replace the motherboard.

      I request you to consider the fact that it was just one day that had elapsed. It was not a period of beyond 2 or more months that my laptop stopped functioning. I therefore request you to do the re-repairs and oblige.

        Hello concern,
        I had purchased dell xps 15 9550 modal laptop from us with 3 years onsite premier warranty.

        I am receiving blue screen error since beginning and contacted dell us and india but issue is still pending. One of my dell tracking no is still pending.

        Many parts has been replaced and 5 times windows reinstalled but issue is as it is.

        Dell technical persons comes, ask to connect device and do nothing and always inform to me that we have done few settings and let see.

        Please look this issue and tell dell india to appoint senior technical person to look after this issue and instruct dell to replace dell since device is still under warranty.

          Our family is dell preferred customer and have several desktops and laptops of dell.
          We ordered desktop-dell inspiron 3268 on online from copuindia for home use. We specified that our main purpose was to have internet access and skype. To our surprise we found that this pc has no inbuilt camera, sound and speakers. When tried to order them but they say they do not have in stock. We cannot understand how people use this computer without these basic accessories, and how such reputed dell company manufacture such computers without these basic accessories. It is also worth noting that when we call dell support service they are very polite but are not trained to direct the call to specific person dealing the matter, so direct from one person to other. We hope you will look into this matter and maintain your reputation.

            Please do not buy a dell laptop.

            I bought an alienware 15 1.5 year ago. Everything was ok in the warranty period. After that one fine morning it stopped charging. It showed an error message - adapter type unknown. I bought a new adapter worth 4.6k. But it was of no result. I went to dell authorised service center in kolkata
            (Regeneris). They told me that they don't have anything to check my laptop. If another alienware comes to them, they can use the adapter to check my laptop, let alone any other problems.
            My question is - if dell does not have any infrastructure to service an alienware, then why they sell it? This is absolutely a company policy to sell only and no responsibility afterwards. Such company should be banned in india.

              Dell vostro 14-v3446 was purchased by me in 2016 through a authorised dealer phoenix infosolutions, mumbai. The serial id is -9l1jk52. We have just used it for around 15 months and the screen display is not functioning from 1.7.2017. Now dell is charging 3, 500 for replacing the screen. Such bad quality products should be replaced free of cost which stop functioning in 15 months.

                Been to dell service in koremangala bangalore center with the problem of overheating. The laptop was with the service center over a week and there was general servicing done to the laptop and was charged 1500/-. I collected the laptop when i checked the same day i called the service center with the laptop in bad condition could see lines on the screen. After 2 days immediately the screen was switched off. I spoke to the service person several times. I took the laptop back to the service center and the lady over there asked me the charger as well. Even though the laptop was in good condition with no problems with the screen only the heating issue the laptop was returned with screen switched off state. Also when i went back to the service center i did not get any response for the screen problem and was asked to pay 5500 to change the screen. I did not agree. I went back to collect the laptop they did not even give my charger. They said that they do not have the charger. I did not even get my charger. They said they will updtae me on charger the next day but i did not get a single response from them. I went back to dell service center they even accussed me of having the charger. I was sure on that they had the charger so i asked them to show the cctv footage.

                Till now not received the charger plus my laptop condition is worse than it was before the general servicing.

                  I have purchased inspiron 15r from skope computers gip noida. I visited laptop care center in lucknow there i came to know that my laptop has been out of warranty but in my bill it is dated as 17 july 2017. As i have purchased laptop on 17 july 2016, but in warranty status it is showing that has been expired on 29 april 2017. As i m having some critical issues in my laptop it's having some charging issues. Kindly check this as my laptop validity will be expiring on monday 17 july 2017. Kindly check this matter and inform from ur desk to the dealer that this all issues can't be handled by customer

                    I bought a laptop from advance laptop pvt ltd... Since day 1 its not working properly... Already claimed fr many waranty service...

                    Now dis tym i m stuck about the problem of short warranty.. Dell support not matching waranty period similer to my retail invoice billing date... Service provider told me to contact with shop from where i purchesed... Nd i contacted dy told me to wait... I m waiting since then already 15 day over still no response...

                    My complaint is why custmer should suffer about this fault... My laptop is dead since then.. Why should i suffer... Very bad.. Hope u can understand..

                      I am to inform that i purchased one unit of laptop (Ins 3552 pentium/4gb/500/win 10 + off) from croma, del - pusaroad-a 104, new delhi 110005 on june 25, 2017. Item code - 198689, serial no. G8pk5f2 invoice no. Slf02a[protected], time 7.51 pm on 25/6/2017, invoice created by pankaj, demo and delivered by umesh. At that time, the dell targus bag pack (Item code - 203115 as mentioned in the voucher) was not delivered saying out of stock and promised for home delivery by june 26, 2017 as was mentioned in the voucher.

                      With great shock, i am to complain that it was not delivered even after two weeks as on today, july 12, 2017. After repeated phone, i was told to collect it from their shop, croma, pusa rd.

                      My question is - each and every unit of dell laptop is supposed to be sold accompanied with one bag pack. Then, the bag pack with my laptop, why was it not delivered during sale of laptop?

                      After commitment, why was it not delivered to my residence even after 17 days of sale? I was told to collect from shop, instead.

                      This type of gesture selling your dell laptop is not desirable, that may do harm to your company reputation.

                      Again, i am telling it is not a good sign either for your company dell or for your company products outlet / show room, croma.

                      This is for your kind attention and action.

                        My laptop"s part had been replaced more than 20 time in the warranty period and still not working fine and its not normal case your product is faulty from initial stage
                        I had been requesting for replacement since the the initial faults
                        I am sending this mail as per the direction of national consumer court

                          Good evening sir, last 5days continuously iam going to call your technical support team. They are going to tell power assembley problem. But they could not book a complaint. I don't no, what is the executives problem, they said you need to call after 4 o clock that time i am not going to free, if your book a complaints are not. And one more thing you should sale your products on south side. But your customer service don't no telugu how they will explain the problem and book a complaint. More than the people are sold your products but they dnt english hindhi. What they will do please try to suggest help customers don't loose your product sales.

                            I bought a dell laptop from advance info distributers pvt ltd
                            From day one i am complaining the company that it is not working in proper manner.

                            There are so many issues in this laptop

                            1 its very slow in working
                            2 its mouse doesnt work properly
                            3 charger is not compatable
                            4 windows is temparary
                            5 no warranty - confirmed from the service center they say it expired in march 2017
                            6 the loctaion for anti theft doesnt show correctly

                            I bought it for 70500/-
                            I have visited n number of times to these people regarding complaint. Every time they just dont sort it out.
                            I am being harrased and cheated all the time.

                                Worst experience with dell technical support.
                                I m using dell inspiron 15, service tag no. 7pz0512. I found my pc have some problem, not working properly. So i called technical support on 8/7/17, they told me to call on 10/7/17. And on 10/7 they again told to call 11/7. Why u don't help out warranty systems. Where we call? Should we call to hp, sony? Solve out my problem, i m trying from last 5 days to connecting dell. And also give some manners to your technical representatives.
                                Biggest mistake to buy dell.

                                  I have purchased Dell laptop(DELL INS 5566 CORE 7TH /8GB/1TB/W10) on 28/05/2017. However since then there has been continuous issue in windows 10. I have returned the laptop twice from it was purchased since it is in warranty period. I have the original invoice copy. However they have formated my dell laptop twice and returned it back. Still while operating the laptop there are instances when window 10 automatic goes into repair and whatever I was working on laptop goes on hold or laptop gets hanged. I am really fed up of such issue as giving back to the same shop again and again and they take time to repair which consumes couple of days. This has serious effect on my business. I am losing my patience day by day. It would be helpful if you can solve this matter
                                  Dell India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                  Purchased Dell Laptop in Feb2017.at the time purchased faced system issue that resolved in service centre submitting 5 days.Now LCD is totally blank. Really its Horrible to see Dell's poor quality.Please help me out to resolve this problem on priority.

                                    I bought the DELL 3543 I3/4GB/1TB/WIN 10/1NN6982 on 10 september 2016. The laptop had issues with booting on 27 May 2017 ( A message " No bootable device" appears on screen). After a few hours the issue got resolved by it self. The service centers were unable to pin point the reason behind the issue. Since 24 June 2017, the laptop has completely stopped working. I am told the warranty has expired and I can try to renew my warranty. But till date I have not received a proper assistance from the company service centers in Kochi.

                                      Hi, my name is Joanna Remedios. I was advised about the dell insurance from a sales rep at Dell. I paid Rs.13, 000.00 on 03/06/15 (NEFT- REF NO:N[protected]) via HDFC bank. The said insurance was never applied to my laptop account. i have contacted the so called diligent customer care dept. However, all I’ve got is a xfer from dept. to dept. not the mention the false promised callbacks.
                                      On one occasion, i was holding the phone in my hand only to see that the call being made by dell was a ring and disconnect even before i answered, just like a missed call. Does Dell really call that a call back? Do they not have the money to call their customers? I wonder.

                                      A guy by the name of Mohammed Ansari, who happens to know the case extremely well has promised me a call back 3 mths ago. I guess he's still looking for the time or a phone to call me. Don’t know.

                                      I'm on the verge of proceeding to Consumer Court, if the matter isn't sorted soon.

                                        This is with regard to the issue persisting from nearly a two month now on a Dell Laptop Model - Z566110 INS15(5559) that i had purchased for my daughter Nidhi Agarwal.

                                        I had purchased the laptop make - Z566110 INS15(5559) SILVER MATTE, (SERVICE TAG NO.- 88GQDC2) from your Authorized Dell Store ISERVE SOLUTIONS & SERVICES PVT. LTD., KOLKATA, on 13th September 2016.

                                        In the month of November itself my daughter had started facing problem with her laptop screen (sudden blackouts & flickering) for which she had taken the technical assistance (CASE NO:[protected] from Dell via phone and the issue was resolved temporarily.

                                        However, again on 8th May 2017 same problem occurred. The laptop was not working properly and for which Nidhi had asked the Dell Service Provider to give onsite technical assistance since the warranty period was valid but they denied. She was asked to format the system by the Tech Department Executive named Pratik Umrania of Dell to resolve the screen flickering issue and the sudden hang/ blackouts issue (Service Request Number:[protected].

                                        After following all the troubleshooting steps that she was told to, the problem was still not resolved for which again she had to ring the technical support team over phone to solve my problem, but the personnel denied any onsite technician support since he claimed that their was no hardware issue and he further asked my daughter to visit nearest Dell Support Center or the Store from where I had purchased my laptop and reinstall the Operating System. When she went to the store on 24th May 2017 they said they couldn't re install and asked Nidhi to visit the Dell Service Centre Regenersis (India) Pvt Ltd located in Karunamoyee-Saltlake, Kolkata. Accordingly, Nidhi had visited the Service Center on the same day wherein the Technician named Partha Mondal looked at the laptop series and he said that this series is already having this common problem for which three components needs to be replaced and he asked her to submit my laptop for 5 days (Refer: Enclosed Customer Acknowledgement copy).
                                        On 29th May 2017 again, my daughter called the service center to enquire regarding the receipt of my Laptop and to my surprise she was informed that Dell Company (Head Office) has declined the request to replace the defective parts on the grounds that they couldn't match the PPID Number of the LCD screen.The same Technician named Partha Mondal said that he had received a mail from Head Office and they have denied the request for the defective product on the basis that the customer must have taken her laptop to local service center where the original LCD screen is being replaced and thereby was asked to recollect my laptop back from service center.

                                        After certain disagreement and quarrels Dell again considered the issue and agreed to replace the defective LCD and LVDS cable and then again when the the laptop was collected from service center it was found that the LCD contains DEAD PIXELS and some YELLOW PATCHES .Nidhi have to go back again to the service center located in karunamoyee and the engineer said he cannot fit the screen like it was originally factory fitted and the screen fitted is also a refurbished material and not a new product, so she have to have to take back the laptop .On 15th June Nidhi further went to Dell Service Center located in Chittaranjan Avenue to get her problem resolved wherein she was asked to deposit the laptop .The laptop was again fitted with new lcd screen as it appeared that the previous fitted screen was bleeding .But after using for two days my daughter found out the same old monitor flickering issue and the laptop was working very slow and with system hang issue was also faced .She did email the Dell technical department and again he asked her to telecommunications services to resolve the issue ( all the telecommunication service that my daughter have taken till date atleast took 45 mins time up to 2 hours )

                                        Given the fact that my daughter had never went to get her laptop serviced from any local store and the store from which i had purchased the laptop also seemed to be an Authorized Store claimed by dell, why am i being made the prey out of a miss-coordination between the Service Center & Head Office/Store Dealer.

                                        My daughter being a student is appearing for her final semester for which she needed her laptop to complete all her projects but couldn't use it because all the aforesaid issue.

                                        Now, after getting through the above trail one can make out the amount of harassment suffered on my part out of no reason after investing nearly Rs.60, 000 on a product.
                                        I would either take a replacement for the current laptop or would like to get total money refund.

                                        What is the use of buying such a high end branded laptop if my daughter couldn't use it for when it was most needed?Who is going to take the responsibility for the amount of loss she had suffered in her studies?
