I purchased dell inspiron 15 series laptop, Model - INSPIRON 5547 Notebook on 18-jun-2015 and applied for dell back to college offer i got the gift voucher and headphone as well as the status of my warranty on dellbacktocollege.com is also successful but when i check it on dell official website it is not showing the extended warranty i contacted so many times to dell but the reply was it will take some time but yet it is not done after so many call and emails. I had provided them every details they asked but Now they even don't reply to e-mails.
Sir, i want dell to extend my warranty as stated on Dell back to college website.
I had also included the screenshot of the offer contents.

      As I am a dell customer my PC have some problem like black strip at the bottom of desktop along with black lines horizontally and this suffers me while working on PC. I Have complaint about this to your local dealer, but i have not got response. so please do the needful in this matter an early as possible.

      The Laptop is working too slow and sometimes is not working even the cursor is also not working and sometimes the cursor is working but the laptop is not responding to clicks and after turning it off does not starts .i need to remove the battery to start it.

        I purchased a Dell Laptop (Model P64G )from Croma Stores, Marenahalli Road, JP Nagar, Bangalore on 1/1/2016. (Invoice no.SLF02A[protected] dated 1/1/2016)

        Just after one year, i.e, on 23/1/2017, the on/off switch in the laptop failed and the computer did not switch on.

        I got it checked and repaired at the authorized service centre of Dell (M/s. Laptop stores, 11th Main, 3rd block (E), Jayanagar, Bangalore 560011) and had to pay Rs. 1800 towards service charges for rectifying the switch.

        I am shocked to note that the switch failed just a year after purchase, which speaks of the quality of the product.

        As a sufferer, I request Dell to (1) rectify such production problems of the laptop switch in their product and (2) reimburse me the amount of Rs.1800/-.

        For info., the Laptop stores Invoice no. is LJ 12302 dated 24/1/2017.

        Both the purchase invoice and the service invoice can be scanned and mailed if needed.

        Looking forward to a fast resolution of my issue.

        I taken the extended warranty 1 yr of my laptop
        it is valid upto 31 jan 17 but they not resolving my hardware problem
        I pay 1000 rs for warranty extend

            Dell service center a pathetic experience at delhi
            Name of service centre - excotron solutions pvt ltd

            Dear sir,

            1. On 17 jan 2017 i had approached the dell service centre excotron solutions pvt ltd, the only authorized centre for repair of dell laptops in delhi, for repair of my laptop bearing model no 5548, service tag no idgsk22.

            2. The lap top had a crack in the bottom case, but they replaced the touch pad along with the bottom case, vide invoice no exinvdel/[protected] dt 17 jan 2017.

            3. When i enquired for the reason for replacement of touch pad, service centre intimated that it is mandatory to replace the touch pad along with bottom case, but i was not convinced.

            4.in addition, since the replacement of bottom case and touch pad, its wi-fi and scroll were not working.

            5. For the same problem the laptop was taken again to the centre on 18 jan 2017, but after struggling with the lap top for 3 hours center could not resolve any of the problem but intimated that –

            (I) for scroll resolution os windows 8.1 has to be loaded, because laptop bears os windows 10 and touch pad driver is not available separately with windows 10, therefore scroll will not function with os windows 10.
            (Ii) wi-fi wire broken inside so nothing can be done, else panel has to be replaced
            6. Whereas the fact is that before taking the laptop to the service centre and replacement of touch pad scroll was working on os windows 10 and wi-fi was also working fine.in addition original windows 8.1 was upgraded to windows 10 by dell company on line, many months before.

            7. Now again on 21 jan 2017 i reached the service centre for the same complaints. I asked the service centre representative mr neeraj (Excotron solutions pvt ltd) to give me in writing the reasons of touch pad not working, in response he flatly refused to give it in writing, citing it to be company’s policy not to give anything in writing. Though he offered to have a look on the scroll issue again but with a condition that data might be lost, since data was o[censored]tmost importance to me i did not allow him to do so. I asked him the likely reasons of data loss, he replied that he will load os windows 8.1 and see if the scroll is working or not. This inter alia implies he himself was not sure that this scroll problem is because of some hardware fiddling they have done while replacing the touch pad or it was due to os-windows 10, as claimed by the on 18 jan 2017.

            8. Same day ie on 21 jan 2017, i asked about non working of wi-fi he replied that its panel has to be replaced. I asked him to go ahead with panel replacement. To this he offered me two possible solutions of panel replacement ie either (I) through dell arrangement or (Ii) through their service centre. Since this offer of mr neeraj looked to be little opaque so i asked him to elaborate the two offers, to which he said that the only difference is of diagnostic charge of rs 999/, through dell arrangement it will be levied and through the service centre it will not be levied. I was amazed at this kind of dubious working of the service centre so i asked him to scribble the two offers on a piece of paper which he gladly did. I was suspicious of the centre’s working so i asked him to go ahead with dell arrangement for replacement of panel, as i am prepared to pay rs 999/ as diagnostic fee. I have safely kept the document scribbled by sri neeraj.

            9. Thereafter he said the he will take the laptop inside the service centre to know the part number of panel, and said it may take a day or two. Again i was little surprised at his version that to know the panel number he needs to open the laptop, i told him that as per standard practice the model number and tag number shall be sufficient to know the panel number, to which he replied that for same model and tag number there are four possible panel numbers. His reply did not convince me.

            10. Any way i asked him to go ahead and open the laptop to know the panel number, but expedite. I told him that i will wait at the centre, till the time he deciphers the panel number. As this juncture he intimated that there is no point for me to wait at the centre because after opening the laptop and knowing the panel number it may take 3-4 weeks for panel to come and till that time laptop has to be kept at the centre. I requested them to know the panel number, take the money from me for the panel and diagnosis, but give me back the laptop so that lap top is used as it cannot keep it for 3-4 weeks at centre because lap top is used daily. And once the panel is received by the centre i shall come with the laptop for replacement of panel, but centre refused to accept my version and insisted that i shall leave the laptop at the centre till panel is replaced with the new one and wi-fi issue is corrected.

            11. At this juncture i understood his (Mr neeraj of excotron solutions pvt ltd) game plan, which was to discourage me from getting the laptop repaired through dell arrangements, else bear the pain of no laptop for next 3-4 weeks. I was totally dejected at the centre’s attitude and returned to a local repairer to diagnose the wi-fi defect, he opened the laptop in 10 minutes and told me that wi-fi wire has been cut and it has to be replaced. The local repairer further intimated that now a days panel come without wi-fi wire and crenre’s claim that its panel has to be replaced is false, only replacement of wi-fi wire shall be sufficient.

            12. From the above narration i want to seek following clarifications from m/s dell india

            (A) is excotron solutions pvt ltd is the only one authorized service centre of dell india in delhi?
            (B) does dell india not have their own service centres in india and all extant service centres in india are out sourced?
            (C) shall a complaint of broken base of laptop invite replacement of touch pad also?
            (D) is the complaint of scroll not working related to os-windows 10 as claimed by centre, despite the fact that original windows 8.1 was upgraded to windows 10 by itself and the scroll on touch pad was working fine prior to replacement of touch pad by centre.
            (E) when i desired the centre to give me the reasons of scroll not working, in writing, centre refused to do so, citing it their policy not to give an thing in writing. If it is true can i know the reasons.
            (F) is centre’s version true? (A) that at centre there exist two kind of arrangements of repair ie (I) through dell or (Ii) through excotron solutions pvt ltd (B) in the excotron solutions pvt ltd arrangement no diagnostic charges are to be paid, but in repair through dell arrangement diagnostic charges are to be paid? I have the document scribbled by centre representative and explaining me the two arrangements.
            (G) is the statement of centre is correct, that to know the panel number lap top has to be opened? And panel number cannot be known by model number/tag number? Moreover when in the local market it takes only 10 minutes for the repairer to know the defect, why shall the excotron solutions pvt ltd take 1-2 days to know the panel number? Despite the fact the representative of excotron solutions pvt ltd kept fiddling with the laptop in front of me for more that 90 minutes on 21 jan 2017. They cannot say that as per policy the diagnose is done in the queue ie first in first out/last in last out, as they wasted nearly 90 minutes in front of me.
            (H) shall the item made defective by excotron solutions pvt ltd not be replaced by them themselves? Wi-fi was working fine before taking the laptop at the centre.
            (I) does the dell has policy of retaining the laptop for as long as for 3-4 weeks, to enable centres to get the faulty part and repair the fault? If yes, is it not a harassment of the dell laptop holder? Because 3-4 weeks is too long a period for someone to spare his laptop for repair, as you would agree that laptops are generally held singly.
            (J) now, lastly how to get the laptop’s defect rectified now?

              I had a dell inspiron 7548 laptop which was not coming up from sleep after upgrading to windows 10. This I believe is a known issue in dell laptops but I gave it for repairing to AMC Square (Wise Machines India Pvt. Ltd.) which is authorized service centre in bangalore. They checked and told me it is a hardware issue which I dont believe but still asked them to repair it. Since then it has been 2 weeks and they are not repairing it neither updating me. I have been chasing them always and they give all sorts of weird unbelievable excuses. I want DELL to take up this matter seriously and address my grievance.

                I have purchased dell vostro from sp road bangalore... On laptop it's written something and laptop properties bar showing something... Try take action on them otherwise you will close your business in india soon... Get those dealers and complaint them as they are assembling new laptop with different parts.. They are blackmailing the customers... They cheated us telling that it's genuine laptop... We lost 30000 rupees for assembled laptop... Please help us

                  This pertains to my Dell laptop 7348 purchased on 02.12.2015 from a Dell exclusive store ...scan copy of invoice attached.

                  On 22.06.2016, I had an accidental damage repair carried out as one of the keys had come out due to poor workmanship. In the process of key replacement, the entire panel along with the keyboard got replaced...now such is the poor quality of the front panel that in less than 6 months it has turned all black and even the metallic colour has come out in the corners...

                  I even took my laptop to the retailer and he was simply shocked to see the black colour of the front panel...it appears that the laptop is being used in a coal mine...which is far from real. As the replacement part is only 6-7 months old, I make a plea to Dell India to look into the poor state of the front panel and help me with the desired resolution...

                    I have purchase new laptop in dell store it is not working properly (So please replace new laptop.). The problem is 1). My laptop is not getting charging properly 2). Battery backup is very pure, 3). Some times it getting suddenly stack and off, 4). If the cell phone is nearer the laptop it will be hang, 5). When we are installing civil engineering software's the laptops not working properly and hang, 6). Its working is very pure suddenly power off. 7) while charging the power button is not glowing 8) over heating problem.9) the xl sheet is not opening. Every day the new problem is arising. Invoice no:00509. So please refund my amount or replace new laptop. My phone no [protected]. If you are not accept request i will go to consumer court.

                      I have purchased a 60, 000 inr system in june 2016 from one the dealer in rajsamand, within one month the dell logo printed on led monitor got damaged. After trying to resolve this issue e found that dell doesn`t provide support/service for the system until system got crash in some accident. I leave it.

                      After two month machine start making noise on ever day whenever we start the system.
                      For we ave complaint against it,
                      After the complaint dell have sent some technical person who have make trial and and replace my new part with some used or another part in machine. But unluckily the problem was still there he was unable to solve the issue. Again dell send the second time different technician with different used part to replace with my new one, but still after replacing the part problem was there. So the service department doing this trial from past 7/11/2016 and in between they have almost all new parts came with the system purchase with the used or may be repaired part, last time they also did a magi, after replacing the some of remaining new part in my new machine when technician start the machine display only sows the dell logo and after that it show only a blank screen. Upon this when i asked to service guy he told me that mother board may have damaged (As i was sure that the last time they have replaced a used or repaired mother board).

                      Now from past 4 days my system is on dead mode, and un fortunately i have make the worthless dell machine as a main machine in my office which is affecting my whole office work and all workers.

                      I request you please be aware before buying the dell product as they have worst policies against warranty.

Unfortunately, like other faculty members my new laptop is also shutting down suddenly from last 15 days. Most of the laptops are showing same problem. Kindly resolve it urgently.                           I have called the following number of a dell exclusive store in kottayam several times during the working hours [protected].They haven't answered my phone calls. One time they picked my phone and i asked them about a specific laptop and they were not ready to answer me.
                          My laptop did not show hard drive
                          Facing problems with the network adapter. speed is very very slow. I have with different wifi's at different places but the speed is very slow. it takes nearly 2-3 minutes to load a simple google home page.
                          please solve this issue by sending your service agent to check my laptop
                          My dell pendrive which was purchased in August 2016 form CIP computers, Vellore. I thought Dell brand is reputed and will be trouble free.
                          Now it is corrupted and not showing memory.
                          It is indicated in the product that the product has 5 years guarantee. All my data got lost and I could not even format it for other use.

                            Compuindia is the only authorized online dealer of dell laptops in India. Their customer service is pathetic. I had ordered a dell vostro laptop and they had received full payment via NEFT and booked the product. The next day they said the product I wanted was out of stock and I had to choose another. There was no other product I was interested in so I asked for a refund. They said the refund takes 12 working days to complete. This is ridiculous. Every other e commerce company does a refund within 3 to 4 working days and that too after the customer has received a product and sent it back. I have not even received the product. In fact it wasn't even shipped. They are simply keeping around 62k of my cash with them for 2 weeks!! I called dell customer care and they just finally redirected me to a compuindia representative. This person had no valid answer to the question why it takes 12 working days to refund money. He kept stating like a robot that it takes 10 to 12 days to do refund. And then I asked them how they come up with that number because in the first email I got from Compuindia it said 12 working days and then it said 12 -15 working days when I asked the question why in the form of a mail. Now this representative says yes yes it takes 15 days. What the hell are they doing? Playing around with dell customers? My impression of dell was so good that I was adamant about buying no other brand. And now seeing this pathetic and unfair dealing of compuindia its all gone down a notch. If just to get back my own money at no expenditure on dell's part I have to struggle this hard then imagine what would happen post buying a laptop if there is some serious hardware issue.

                            I strongly feel dell should find a better online dealer than compuindia.

                                But amount is deducted for same laptop Rs 28490, and still after some time I will not rcve any confirmation from dell, then I make a call to agent ANA and she denied that they can't rcve any payment.
                                Please take action on it and give my money back to me or my laptop, otherwise I will file an FIR and also file a complaint in consumer form.

                                    I had purchased a dell laptop xps 12 9q33 convertible ultra book in united states through dell online, i have been relocated to india, from the day one i have an issue with the laptop (Shutdown) originally purchased on 6 june 2014, so i was trying to diagnose the issue with the authorized service center in chennai below address

                                      Recently 1 month ago ..i purchase one laptop charger(Dell Genuine Original Laptop Adapter Charger 65w 19.5V 3.34A (New Pin 4.5*3.0mm) MGJN9 for Inspiron 15 5000 series) & also have a power cord...i am purchasing this charger from amazon online...my problem is that my charger is not working now...the green light of charger will also not glow...and my charger is in one year national warranty provided by dell...i also have a bill...i want to change my charger...

                                        I have purchased the dell battery in mysore in august 22, 2016 for the model dell precision m4600.. After four months of purchase, the battery is not working. As the warranty period is one year from the date of purchase, i need to replace the same with a good one.
