Dear Mr Sandeep,

1. Please refer VC No [protected] and order for a new connection vide token number 23012 dated 31 Oct 2010.

2. The existing STB developed an "unexplained" technical snag about four months ago which was duely inspected for by your authorised franchisee M/S Apollo Airworld.As per them the STB cannot work any further.

3. Accordingly,I consulted your customer care because I have already paid an annual subscription for the connection and due to no fault of mine and without being able to utilise the connection ,monthly charges are still being deducted by dish TV.The customer care had no solution to the problem,rather they advised me to buy a new STB at exhorbitant rates of approx Rs 1400/-.It is not understood why the new complete connection kit costs a max of Rs 1000 where as an STB only should cost Rs 1400/-?

4. Having felt cheated and helpless,I once again contacted your customer care and was told by one of the representative that "pairing" of the old account could be done if I buy a new connection.Accordingly I ordered a new connection on 31 Oct 10 vide token no 23012.I was moving out of town on duty and requested your customer care if the connection could be done by 1st Nov 10.I was told that as per policy,the connection is done within 24 hrs.

5. On 1st Nov 10 nobody turned up with the new connection till 1130hrs.I therefore contacted your customer care who informed that M/S Apollo Airworld would be doing the installation.On contactiong the franchisee,I explained that it is important that they install it by 1st Nov and they assured a rep will arrive by 1700h.I kept waiting the whole evening but no one turned up.

6. On 2nd Nov I have moved out on duty and cannot possibly get it installed.So the question of not taking the calls of your franchisee becomes irrelevant.
7. I have been duped and fleeced of money twice by your esteemed company.On requesting for a refund of money atleast for the new connection ordered vide token no 23012,your customer care says there is no such policy.
8. May I once again most humbly request that a refund be made to me for the new connection which has not yet been installed.I understand that a a policy of your company , I have to forego the annual subscription paid by me on existing connection vide VC number under reference.
9. Since you are the nodal officer,I expect a fair response on the grievance.
10. The appalling customer service practices of your company leave me feeling cheated and fleeced twice.Action taken on this grievance may please be communicated by email ,

May I know what is the problem and what I have to do? so help me to active on my dish tv as soon as porsible.     They seemed to have very quieltly withdrawn language zone channels---like tamil/malayalam zone. Quietly charging us extra for those language channels which were part of free service on South Gold Package. Never cared to inform there will be change in Language Zones. My parents have already dragged them to Consumer Court once & they were made to compensate & ofcourse, they've abandoned DishTV & switched to SUN TV now. It's now my turn to drag them to court.

      Please you go to market( so called dealer) to buy a Dish tv Connection, you will find that the price is above MRP ( as announced by the co.) , again additional higher charges for installation and thirdly on recharge you will not find the recharge voucher as per your requirement ( of course as per companies package rate) or pay more then the package rate on recharge through so called dealer available in the market.

      Now, I am surprise to note that no customer rising the matter or complaint to the Municipality authority or to the so called secondary government( NSCN) as they are controlling the market.

      So sir, I hope, through you, I can expect that there is some body who can take note on my point and again please visit the market to know the fact.

      I feel shame to stay Kohima, the capital of Nagaland ### no justice for any ( specially for the non nagas), on very step we need to lay down. No more......

        Recently I had sent this concern to DishTv's customer care on [protected]@dishtv.in, and [protected]@dishtv.in at 9:30pm on 10th November. In response, they just wrote "Thank you for your feedback, and keep writing to us". Below is what I had written:

        Sub -- Fake Dhanteras Offer, fake commitments, and unethical practices from DISHTV to fool the prospective customers

        Hi DishTv,

        On 3rd Nov (Wednesday) I saw an interesting 24-hours-Dhanteras-Offer of DishTv website for new connections, and called the customer care[protected] on the same day to order a new connection under that offer. I called at around 8-9pm from my number 95xxxxxxxx, and spoke to VIKRANT in DishTv customer care.

        He gave me all the details about Dhanteras Offer (any plan free for 4 months and Rs990 cashback, just for Rs1490) then tried to transfer the call to Sales Team. He was not able to transfer it, so he told me that he will take my order and raise a request, based on which there will be callback made to me and then the installation will be done. He gave me the request number too (# 1883659). I also gave him my full name and my other phone number (98xxxxxxxx) to add into that request he was raising.

        I rightly assumed that the callback will be made not on the same day but maybe next day, so I asked him clearly twice or thrice if I would still be given Dhanteras Offer (which was open only for 24hours). He kept answering very confidently that all the customers who call us today (Dhanteras Day) will be given the same offer because they have called on the same day irrespective of when the confirmation-callback or installation is done. I clarified this thing with him in more than one way, and said that I won’t accept someone from DishTv saying that Dhanteras Day is gone so offer is gone. He told me not to worry about it.

        I waited for Thursday and Friday and then called back on Saturday (6th Nov) on the same number[protected] at around 2pm from my number 95xxxxxxxx. A rep named KAVITA received the call and upon listening to my concern that nobody called me, she tried to transfer the call to Sales Team. Same thing happened with her too, that she was unable to transfer and promised a callback. I got frustrated and doubted on her promise, so she retried and connected me properly to someone called MOHAMMAD AFTAB in Sales. I restated the whole story to him and asked why was there no callback and installation. He searched his database and told me that there is no such request raised by the number 1883659, nor is there any request with my name or my phone numbers. This really escalated my frustration and I asked him to retrieve the call recordings and investigate.

        I kept mentioning the commitment that DishTv (VIKRANT) had made, and MOHAMMAD AFTAB kept mentioning that there is no such request. He also said that Dhanteras Offer is not available anymore because the day has passed (which is absolutely contradictory to what VIKRANT had committed). He also said that VIKRANT may not be aware of the processes and made a casual promise. This leads to another serious concern, as to how can DishTv put untrained people to answer calls and make fake committements based on their whims and fancies. Then MOHAMMAD AFTAB said that he will call me back after confirming with the Managers. He called me back after confirming with Managers in Pune (supposedly) and said the same thing again that I cannot get the installation under Dhanteras offer. I told him that it was very obvious that DishTv would have taken the calls from customers ordering on that day and would have processed all those calls/orders in the subsequent days, then why did you exclude me from that. To this he had no answer, and told me that I should go and check with some local dealer if they have any leftover package of Dhanteras offer.

        Thus, my first experience with DishTv has been a horrible one, because I had foregone a very good package offer from TataSky and tried to avail DishTv’s fake offer.

        If prospective customers have such experiences with DishTv, I can understand what your existing customers must be going through.

        Meanwhile I am going to share this episode with all my colleagues of my company through the common address-board-story on INTRA, and with my nears & dears.

          This was the frequent issue from dish tv whenever I pay online renewal it wont affect even in a week.

          We have made several complains regarding the issue but each time customer service reprentativ tell that it will start within two hours but since last one week i hearing the same news.
          Now i want to discontinue the service & want refund of recharge value but they simply denying to return the mony.

          Please take the action against them against bussiness cheat.

            I am a customer of distv for four years every year when i recharge i pay for the whole year. when i request for movie on demand and additionals channels , i don't pay for it they adjust the amount and prepone my recharge date. But unfortunately after few days they deactivate the additional channels and when i question them about deactivativation without my request they are unable to give explanation they transfer the call and today they put me on hold for more than half an hour they say they will call back they don't do promptly every time i call, it will be different person i have to repeat my problem.

                Hello Everyone,



                How smartly people take one connection of Dishtv and share with whole village....Pathetic



                One day when i gone to my home town, I came to a strange experience that whole village was using Dish TV, Village with a population of more than 5000 people, can you beleive this ?????? when i asked my uncle what is the monthly subscription charge you are paying ..he replied Rs 80 per month. I was shocked!!!!! Than after my little investigation i came to know that their is one person named as Lalshankar Manshanker Joshi from Padra village, District Dungarpur, Rajasthan who has taken a legal Dish TV connection and giving output connection to whole village with a charge of 80/ per month. Isn't this too much. When i asked him not to do this as its not legal he said they have tie up with local dish tv officers to save them in case of surprise checking. I dont underestand why its happeninig and no one from Dish Tv is bother to stop all these.

                  Hi,

                  My name is Bhupat Parmar. I recently bought new DISH TV connection. My customer token reference: 1876744 and VCC number : [protected]. They installed DISH TV and took setup box back along with them saying some issues in Setup box and didn't return yet after two days. When I call them sometimes they say Setup box is defective so we in process of replacing it and sometimes they say It is under activation. Everytime they say we will give in 2-4 hours but after two days of time they didn't return yet. I paid fully amount on very first day itself. I have a very bad experience with DISH TV. Their customer care is none sense whey I talk them they say only "Sorry".

                  So right now I have a only DISH and NO SETUP box even after paying full amount.

I am an Army officer I bought the dish tv set of box from Sidhiviniak Andhari east dealer on 27/10/10 his mob number is [protected], his name is Mr. pawan. he sold me the set with the promise that he will ensure that my Set of box will be installed on the same day at any cost or you do not pay me the money.e asked me to send the msg on 57575 and it will be done. In spite of keeping talking to all concerned including to mr. Dilip Patil who is the owner/ceo of installation company. the employees of the company were so rude that they point blank stated that do not go on advertisement done by us you will need at least two days to get it installed and they also stated that it is the stunt of the dealer to sell the product. I have all the information in my cell phone to substantiate the facts which I am writing here. Now the dealer is not even picking up my phone. I am really ashmed of being Indian and repenting why i have taken this dish Tv on. Really the company has cheated me and i am sure the people those who will read this will not do any thing against the dish TV b'cause they can buy any indian as we all are cheats and dishonest crowed.                     i have purchased set top box(dishtv)from lajpat rai market on 10/12/08.delhi..i have filed a complaint at your costumer care, request no is...[protected].my vc.no is..[protected]-2 but till date no response from dishtv.your company says in advertisrment(wish karo, dish karo)iam not santusht from your service, iam so happy with my cable.please take proper action &install my set top box as soon as possible

                    I spoke with a dish tv rep on dec12 and was promised installation of dish tv with in 5 working days as i ddnt hear from them.I called on 6 working day and spoke with a chap who told me he sees fine orders on my name,3 with no address,one with a correct address but it was closed bcoz they see alot of a/cs opened with my name but with no tv channel pack and one with a wrong address.As the rep was not able to help me so he t/f my call to a supervisor (zareen) who said it will take another 6-7 working days.I informed that i was committed that the dish will be installed in 4-5 working days.As i insisted to speak with her manager she promised a callback within 2 hours and later as i said that i want dish to be installed within 24 hours she hung up.

                      I am a subscriber of Dish TV. Since installation, its antenna has not been fixed permanently. It has been placed on two side bars with some kind of load. The local Dish TV representative has been requested several times to fix it up permanently but in vain. The antenna is placed temporarily, therefore, signals disappear frequently when wind blows. Every time I have to make payment to the dealer for getting signals. By not fixing the antenna deliberately, I am being forced to pay visiting charges by the dealer for getting the signals. I believe this is an easiest method of extorting money from the Dish TV customers.

                        all dth provider must broadcast all dd direct plus chhnels & thease chhnels should be viewble to free of cost.CALLED FTA (free to air ) Chhanels.

                        but any dth provider not following gov rule ..if subscriber do't rechgare his dish tv account ..he will not able to view any chhanels.
                        also they charging 62rs (smallest packege) For view to only Fta chhanels.

                        DishTV — FTA Blocked

                        I have two complaints against the Company

                        1. After activation expires they are not allowing Consumers to watch FTA channels this is also in violation of TRAI guidelines.
                        2. They should also provide facility to edit TP, so that consumers can use same STB to view other FTA's on different satellties.
                        3. As per TRAI STB and Subscriber Card should not be paried.
                        Consumer should be allowed to use STB as per his/her choice

                        Please take necessary action on these items.

                          My name is ARINDAM SARKAR. VC no. is [protected]. I shift quarter from D 40/12 to D37/2 in Lab quarter, Kanchanbag, HYD -500058 on 14/10/2010. Till to day( 19/10/2010) i can not shift antenna and cable as the local agent ( of course Dish TV agent) not hear my call.

                          Now i want to know what is the relocation charge as per company rule , and second give me the name and address and phone no of your agent so that he can do the work.

                            I have pay to Company through VC Card Rs.450/- on the offer by Company Pay Rs.450 for 3 months & enjoy for 4 Months But company not stand on that offer & saying that this offer only on Branded VC Cards I have complint to the company vide my Complaint No.43505375 on customer care on customer executive saying you are abosulte enjoy for 4 month entertainment I will fill your complained please noted. But the the end of 3 month my complaint is not executed by company & not care about my complaint. So I want that these type of offer company have punised up my misconductiing ofers compay offer to cusotmer

                              I have mailed to customer care of dishtv regarding the above mentioned subject that

                              The M.R.P. cost of 60 meter cable is only Rs.550. when we estimate it will be around Rs 10/mtr approx but they are charging Rs 12/mtr. How the cost is worked out as Rs.12/mtr.The wholesale price of cable will be much less than MRP.
                              Please explain and advice your franchise for installation accordingly.

                              I’m Ajinder Singh from Patiala I have one plus three =4 connection and I got recharge my DishTV connection on 17th of August to 20th of November. But on since 01st of October I have been facing continuously check that your set top box is properly connected to the dish antenna “No access / Signal not found” problem apart from this problem I’m also in problem of their customer care services of such a reputed group. Whenever I call at [protected] they never pick their customers calls only one line is repeated continuously.

                                Dishtv kahti hai mera package sabse Shasta hai ,jo wrong hai isse Shasta Videocon ka hai jo 265 rupees me 243 channel channel provide kar rahi hai , aur dishtv ka (AA-LA pack UTV pack bhi 33 rupees ka hai aur isse Airtel 15 rupees me provide kar rahi hai, dishtv Shasta kaise hoga…



                                package ka price ko kam karne ke bina price me improvemt kar raha hai.

                                Dishtv 4 saal me abhi tak koi major problem KO solved nahi kiya hai………..

                                Wo rain fade problem ho,
                                Video freezing ki,
                                Free to air channel par EPG and Digital video and audio quality….

                                DD (govt. of India) ki hai Jo Tata sky and airtel KO bhi provide kar rahi hai (free to air channel) jisme video qulitey and EPG bhi milta hai…….

                                Other DTH me rain fade nahi hota and video freezing nahi and Free to air par EPG ka hona, WO bhi 7days ka and channel change me second ka bhi time nahi lagna.

                                Abhi kuch din pahle dishtv ne HD BOX launch kiya , usme bhi kuch na kuch kami nikal gayi……….usme only platinum pack hi run karta hai..

                                Uska copy karke other DTH one week me HD box lunch kiya but usme sabhi pack run karta hai..

                                Abhi bhi samjh nahi aaya dishtv KO itne saal ke baad kuch lunch kar raha hai to kuch Na kuch kami rah jaye….

                                Dishtv se other dth bhaut aage badh Gaya hai …..

                                Dishtv ke paas abhi bhi old satellites and old software version hai.. ye sab tab hi sahi hoga, jab tak iska interal change nahi hoga tab tak ye sabhi problem solved nahi hoga…

                                3- EPG and digital video qulitey and sound (free to air)
                                4- Channel change me time lagna

                                Other DTH dishtv se copy karke sarv gun sampran hogayi hai aur dishtv ki ussi Blind gali me round karwa rahi hai customer ko..

                                  VC NO: [protected]

                                  Event 1(Oct 1): I called[protected] on Oct 1 at 4:30PM requested to reinstall my dish and got the request number 46077274. I was informed that this work will be completed within 24 Hrs.

                                  Event2(OCt 2): I didn't get any update so I called[protected] again on Oct 2 at 4:30PM. The customer support representative wanted to confirm whether the concerned centre(Trichy) is working on Oct 2 and confirmed that it was working on that day. Again I was informed that this work will be completed within 24 Hrs.

                                  (Oct 3): Tolerated myself.

                                  Event 3(Oct 4): I called[protected] on Oct 4 at 11:00 AM as the line[protected] was busy. They told that they received the request 46077274 on that day(Monday) only. Again I was informed that this work will be completed within 24 Hrs.

                                  (Oct 5): Tolerated myself.

                                  Event 4(Oct 6):I called[protected] again on Oct 6 on at 11:00 AM and asked the customer support support executive to transfer the call to the escalation team and they put me onhold for 15 mins. I ended the call and tried again they put me onhold again for 15 mins I ended the call second time. Third time I called and talked to REMYA.S and I aksed her to transfer the call to the escaltion team but she said that all the 30 escalation team members are busy !!! and assured that this his work will be completed within 24 Hrs.

                                  Highlights:

                                  I got three SMS from dish TV on Oct 6 after finishing the call.

                                  SMS1. Call details received with the new complaint number 46440039.
                                  SMS2. Kannan from Trichy Dish TV centre will come at 6PM (Oct 6) to reinstall the dish.
                                  SMS3. ISSUE RESOLVED!!!

                                  Still no one has come to my home to fix this issue but I have received the message that the issue has been fixed.

                                  DishTV - India — Charging for bad quality!

                                  As i am the subscriber to dishtv with vc no [protected] my mobile no is [protected]

                                  DishTV Network in India started with a lot of promise it was a undeniable success to a large extended for the following reasons:
                                  1. Monopoly-No other Network was available other than the local cable network.
                                  2. Lesser Investment Required- If you wanted to have a full fledged viewing, you needed at least a minimum of 4 dishes where investment cost was higher.
                                  3. Huge demand in the Middle East Countries- There a huge demand of DishTV Boxes for Indian Expats in the middle east countries for the STB as NSS 6 signals are received here.

                                  Even through the people have supported the DishTV in their endeavor, looking into the totality of the customer have been taken for a ride. When looking from outside it has been a house in disorder with a weak topbrass so to say. Very poor customer care policies, keeping at arms length all its customers. May be they still think that they are running an old steam engine.

                                  Major Drawbacks of DishTV India Network
                                  1. Pathetic Customer Service: I. Never responds to any query on the email even if you have logged in as a customer.
                                  II. If you are lucky to get a email reply, don’t be surprised if it comes after a week.
                                  III. Centralized operations sitting in Nodia and the poor quality of Customer Service Staff.
                                  IV. Gets calls from only Hindi speaking Customer Care Executives when you not comfortable speaking in Hindi as it is not your mother tongue.
                                  V. Online Credit Card Payment system never works.
                                  VI. Transparency of you changing your viewing package not available.
                                  VII. Major Drawbacks in the June 06’ Maxi Malayalam Package and Dec 06’ Maxi Package which cost you mush lesser with more of Hindi channels added.
                                  VIII. No response to any account details and poor tracking to resolve issue.
                                  IX. If you have Ordered 1 DISH TV MOD (Movie On Demand) you may be surprised to see that you would have been charged for 4 movies. You would know that only if you have viewed your statements online.
                                  X. Most important thing is that, if a customer finds that his grievances are not resolved, they must give alternate contact details, so that the issue goes to the next level and is addressed there.

                                  If you look into an over all picture, DISH TV India services as been very bad in terms of customer Care and this is not the view expressed by me but most of the Dish TV Customer whom I know. It is now high time that they come off age and pull up their sock under a New Dynamic CEO of ZEE Network or Tata SKY is going to score over you.

                                  Since one months, we are not receiving hindi, punjabi (north Indian channels). also south indian chanels.We find in black box always "SIGNAL NOT FOUND". Once installation done no one cares for holding signals.

                                  NEVER GO FOR DISH TV.

                                  1. THEIR SIGNAL QUALITY IS VERY POOR
                                  2. YOU DONT GET NEW CHANNELS AND CHANNELS THAT THEY GIVE YOU ARE MOSTLY FREE CHANELS AND USELESS CHANNELS.
                                  3. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS PATHETIC. EVRYCALL TO THE CALLCENTER IS A STD CHARGED CALL (TOLL FREE NEVER WORKS). MINIMUM CALL RESPONSE TIME IS 30MIN. SO THATS A 30MIN STD CALL.
                                  4. CAL CENTER AGENTS ARE NOT TECHNICALLY SOUND AND WILL GIVE YOU FALSE PROMISES AND GIVE COMITMENTS WHICH ARE NEVER MET.
                                  5. EVRY SITE VISIT THEY WILL CHARGE YOU 150/- RS. SINCE SIGNAL IS VERY WEAK YOU WILL END UP CALLING TECHNICIAN EVERYMONTH.
                                  6. TECHNICIANS DONT HAVE INSTRUMENTS TO PERFECT YOUR DISH ANGLE AND DIRECTION SO THEY WILL DO A TRIAL AND ERROR METHOD OF GETTING A BETTER SIGNAL. WHICH IS ABSOLUTELY SILLY CAUSE A SIGNAL CAN VARY DUE TO A LOT OF FACTORS (wind, electrical interfrence, wheather).
                                  7. ALSO AFTER SERVICE THEY RESIST GIVING YOU A BILL.

                                  IN A SINGLE SENTENCE DISHTV IS A WASTE OF YOUR MONEY, TIME, MENTAL PEACE.
                                  Obviously you let someone that had no clue how to install. Customer service is a given. You complain too much.
                                  Don't buy Dish TV.

                                  Poor customer service.they don't have customer care representatives knowing the regional language..
                                  I raised a complaint regarding poor signal in night times, after one month they called to my home(landline).she don't know english and hindi.that customer care simply cut the call.till now no solution for that.

                                  Dish TV — Worst service and negligent customer care executives

                                  My VC no is [protected], I am facing a simple problem (few channels like sun tv, sun news, K TV, chutti TV) that video for few channels are nto at all there, but sound is very clear and audible. All other channels are very goog both in audio and video,

                                  This few channel video missing problem had been informed to customer service thro' phone for the past 4 months regularly on weekly basis. TIll date problem remains un resolved.

                                  I am DISH TV customer and most of the time it does not work. Most funniest and irritating thing is if you call to their customer care, they just tell you reboot the SetTop Box. An average person will give a call to customer care after doing all that. But they still keep asking them. Also they don't speak. If you ask for the details they will put us back to the IVR Front page, again if we give choice and go back to them same thing. Keeping customer on hold for about 20mins, poor customer will wait and then he realise after sometime he has come back to IVR Front page.

                                  Is there any body in Zee Networks Management to address. Really tell you, your good will on other product also will loose if you introduce such things to market. I should get sharukh in my hand, he cannot do anything for money...

                                  You should see the Bharathi Airtel Service and admire good thing from your surroundings.


                                  No hope..still looking forward... I should be very happy if at least if you can take out that customer support... So we dont need to waste our time on this... Rebooting we can do our on...

                                  Dish Tv has the worst service. Executives dont turn up on time to repair for weeks together despite repeated reminders. They give false reasons. They say payment is not being done. Payment is given only on completion of work and not before hand. also for the payment one has to come to the complainant.

                                  I placed a DISH TV re-installation request on 30th May 2011 and was told that it would be installed in 24 hours. 5 days have passed and nothing has happened. Every day I call the customer care and I told that it would be installed in another 24 hours. What is going on?
                                  This was the terrible experience of my Life. I would have never gone for the sucking company like Dish Tv, If I knew you guys will do this to me. I am certainly gonna take this to Consumer forum and the Social Media. I am the age old Customer of Your company, I am one of the first people who signed up for you when you launched the Dish TV, but what did I get from you, The Humiliation and Deception !!!...I was on call for almost 2 hours with your reps today for a problem that I am not responsible for, it is certainly something that you guys should have taken care of.

                                  I recharged on 7/10/2012 WITH VC AS [protected] and had the signal problem, I called the in the Dish Tv and had a technician sent to me, he aligned the Dish Antenna and resolved the trouble...they charged me 340 rupees for that, that was just terrible, but as my issue was resolved, I bore that !!! . Now it was going nice for few days...Suddenly I saw the Prompt on TV saying "Recharge your account to avail the services"...My Due date for the next recharge is 11/6/2012 and as of 17th Oct, I am seeing this prompt...I can just see this prompt on TV and nothing else, ...I tried to go to settings but nothing worked with this stupid Prompt on TV...I called in Dish TV and the hell started!!!

                                  I told them about the problem, they said to press the buttons, this and that...no one, absolutely no one understood what I was saying. I kept saying the Prompt on TV is not letting me do anything...I was told to power off hundreds of times and I did that like a mad!!!...The customer service is so sucking, I have never seen such a negligence from the cust service rep...what shall I say about the rep, when their supervisor was so stupid and fool...No one was ready to help me...I checked everything before I called, the LNB, the cable, the STB and the signal...everything was just fine...suddenly just this hell happened on TV...They refreshed the things which never helped, I called 4 times and on 4th call when no rep helped, I was transfered to supervisor who was worse then the reps...I asked for the manager, he instead transfered me to the senior ...THEY ALL TRIED TO THROUGH THE BALL IN MY COURT AND SAID, EVERYTHING IS FINE HERE AND THIS IS THE PROBLEM FROM MY SIDE, I SAID I HAVE CHECKED AND IT IS ALL GOOD HERE, THIS JUST HAPPENED SUDDENLY, BUT NO ONE UNDERSTOOD...!!!

                                  The supervisor Ankit kept telling me do this and that, knowing that I had done that dozens of times...He was just a !!!...He said it is fine here and we cant do anything for you...when they couldnt see what the problem was, they tried to blame me and said this is the Signal problem, thinking that I dont understand anything...Was I a Fool ????????...I will tell you what your worth is!!!

                                  It is evident that when there is signal problem, you cant see anything but " Signal Not Found"...but that was not the case, they prompted me of the recharge which I had done...Non One Couldn't trace the actual problem...They were all Killers...I was told about the customer service of this company, but I still went for your subscription like a mad, as if there was nothing in the world other than Dish Tv.!!!.
                                  They finally said, since you are not able to pull up the menu ( which no one in the world could, because of that hell Prompt)...we will have to send you the technician...BUT THEY ADDED, "YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR IT"...HOW IN THE WORLD SHALL I PAY FOR IT ????????????

                                  I EXPLAINED THE ISSUE ABOVE, HOW CAN ONE THINK THIS IS MY FAULT...THIS WAS CERTAINLY SOME SYSTEM ISSUE FROM YOU OR YOUR MISTAKE, HOW CAN I BE TOLD TO PAY FOR THIS...!!!

                                  I BEGGED TO THEM, I said I have already paid 270 for the recharge and 340 to the technician, I can't afford the other money...I requested to send this technician for free...No one helped...and they transfered me to some manager namely "HONEY"...he was the Big Insult of my life...He probably realized that I was a kashmiri and he denied the help in the first place !!!...HE DISCRIMINATED !!!...i CAN'T BELIEVE THE MULTI-BILLION GIANT LIKE DISH TV CAN DO SUCH NARROW MINDEDNESS...!!!
                                  I CAN'T TAKE THIS, THAT THE COMPANY LIKE YOU HAVE SUCH LOW EDUCATED AND DISCRIMINATING PEOPLE...IF THAT WAS THE CASE, IF YOU SO HATE THE KASMIRIS, WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THAT WHEN I SIGNED UP FOR YOU...                                   I am also facing cheating and extortion by Dish TV technicians

                                  Event 1 – One horizontal signal strength being low resulting into fragmented picture on HD channels

                                  Event 2 – Dish TV technician visits

                                  1) Claimed that camera in Dish has gone bad and needs to be replace - Cost 750/= (camera in a dish!)
                                  2) Later claimed that entire dish needs to be replaced - Cost 730/= (Metal parts going bad...not rusted)
                                  3) Now claims that setup box has gone bad ( that's ingenious!)

                                  Event 3 – New technician visits, replaces LNB and charges Rs. 650

                                  1) It was clearly dish alignment problem which resulted into one horizontal signal strength getting reduced. Also we were experiencing fragmented picture intermittently.
                                  2) Yesterday earlier technical had replaced LNB but that did not resolve the problem. He showed the old LNB to my wife. After your technician left all HD channels stopped working.
                                  3) Today technician brought a faulty LNB which did not match as looked yesterday.

                                  Event 4 – same day, once again horizontal signal strength has become low. HD Channels have stopped. On phone technician claims that you need to replace set top box

                                  The warranty of Dish TV HD plus has expired on 9th October which was only for 6 months and from 12th October the setup box started giving a problem.

                                    I had a Dish TV connection during October 2005.

                                    During the installation the Dish TV (Essel Agro (P) Ltd.) has given an offer of refund of Rs.2490/- after five years.

                                    Now when we contacted the customer care of the Dish TV they simply told they have records for such offer and directed contact the dealer who installs the connection.
                                    When I contacted the dealer, he told that the actual dealer who installs the connection was no more a dealer for dish tv.

                                    When again contact the dish tv they told to send email to the [protected]@dishtv.in or SMS to 57575.

                                    I have send lot of emails and sms. The toll free customer care no.[protected] was never working.

                                    One of the worst customer service i have ever faced is the Dish TV.

                                    I herewith attach the copy of the bill issued by the Dish TV with refund offer.

                                    Why this stupid gives email id of customer care as the resolution to the problem? everybody knows this email from their website. The person posted this complaint in this forum is not a fool!
                                    He is really asking about some help for this! My suggestion is to file a case in consumer court with the proofs. Then you will get your money back easily.
                                    This attitude on the part of a company belonging to ZEE group is deplorable. Zee News and their sister channels are exposing the other compnies for malafide practices whereas their own group company is adopting the malafide and unfair trade practices. This company should be draged to the Consumer Court.
