Afetr this they deducted Rs.20 as late payment, but i have paid on 20 sept and recharge date was 22 sept , but they receive after 3 days they says that transaction of money via net banking take 24 to 48 hrs but ihave sent them before 72 hrs .
I requested to return this money but they refuse very rudly.

DishTV — no music channel working

respected sir,
we the user of dish tv dont get any of music channel working except mtv despite of our repeated trying to your help number we dont get access. we dont get relay of any music channel fgrom so many days n so help line number's acess.
hope you wil look into our complaint and solve it as soon as possible.

Dish TV — Subscription refund

I had paid the renewal premium for my dishtv subscription under the maxi package. However, due to the loss of alignment I was unable to view the channels totally. Despite repeated reminders - telephonically, mails and through letters, my problem has till date not been resolved (more than 7 months have elapsed!). Finally in frustration, I have now switched to another service provider. I am seeking refund of my entire renewal premium as also the deposit money paid at the time of joining. For the mental trauma and the running around that I have done, I am entitled to be compensated by way of damages for the "deficiency in services".

Request you to please take up my complaint and have it resolved.

Dish TV — No value for money

Sir,
I have the following complaints regarding Dish TV.
1. Whichever channel I select, there are prolonged advertisements.
2. Every few seconds, the TV channel newsreaders want to take a "break."
3. Many channels demand extra payment under the excuse of "movie on demand" whereas merely subscribing to Dish TV means that they should show us the movies that we are subscribing to Dish TV for. Why should we pay extra beyond the subscription? This is illegal.
4. Rarely are good movies shown. The movies shown are lack-lustre and the advertisements are noisy, loud and idiotic.
5. Hardly any English or Hindi music channels are being shown these days and whatever songs are shown are of rap music in which the song is "talked" instead of being sung.
6. It appears that all channels are being intentionally made lack lustre even though there are countless good English and Hindi movies and songs that can be shown but are intentionally not shown.
7. In the channel 9Xm, which is off the air now like B4U, half the screen is shown with dancing apes or chimpanzees or 3-eyed monsters, and the good song cannot be enjoyed because of this unnecessary interference.
8. Whenever we try to see a good channel, a toll-free phone no is shown demanding extra money even though we are legitimate subscribers.
9. Today, many channels previously shown by Dish TV are off the air, but our subscription is never reduced because of this.
10. Even after continuously surfing for half an hour on various channels of Dish TV, hardly any good entertainment can be found except that we are bombarded with advertisements regarding shampoos, soaps, hair oils, skin creams, food products, domestic items, cars, motorbikes, etc.
I doubt that I will renew my subscription. Internet on broadband is more entertaining or it is better to buy a good English or Hindi movie DVD and enjoy it rather than get tortured by Dish TV.

I want it to ask one simple question to Mr. Jawahar Goel - MD, Dishtv India Limited, former president of Indian Broadcating Foundation. Who given you the permission to charge 25rs late charges. am using DISH TV that is my biggest fault ever in my entire carrier. If am not able to watch my TV for 15 Days if am on Holidays so i have to switch off my TV then. why the hell it the charges has been taken for. i really dont understand. Do you think how many users are there ? they are using your services if some of them are not able to watch TV or if some of them is not able to recharge on time so you guys would have charge them. which is totally wrong. why should we pay for you. What is this late payment. one girl had called me name Radhika, She was telling me that is late payment charges . Why the bloody i pay for it even i didnt use it. and again when i ask her if i want to cancel my DISH TV set top box and i want to return it back so that lady say you can return it any time but we will not able to return your amount, again i feel like a Donkey why the hell i have brought this stupid SET TOP BOX . Now regarding to this mail i have to receive proper feedback other wise i will put a complaint against DISH TV.
Dish TV has proved to be the worst service provider. Though I have recharged for this month. Next month on I wont be paying a single rupee. Also, I won't be returning the set top box to you until you refund me my money which you have taken for setup 2000 rs. Seems you guys are fools who think others are fool like you. This has been a trauma to attend your customer care executives, you hear me right. I had been attending them rather than they doing it. They are so much filled with ego and burst out like a baloon.

I'm switching to local cable tv which just costs 200 rs with no hassles for late fee or any issue with money if payment is late somehow.

Dish TV sucks like its name suggest, "Customers are Dish and watching TV makes them tastier to eat away. So loot lo..."

Contact me and resolve this issue with what you call late fee. I recharged for 579 for a month and now they just show it up to be valid for 20 days only.

Even if you deduct 25 rupees, how is it going to be 579/30 = 19 rs. For 10 days it is 19*10 = 190 rs . Who the hell allowed you to deduct 190 rs in name of 25 rs.

DishTV sucks.

Would neither recommend nor allow someone from my society to opt in for dishtv.

    I have complaints so many times but my Dish TV is not working properly. I could not see any channel. There is so much of disturbance. I have paid the subscription for full one year yet could not see due to some problem. My VC no. is [protected].

    vcc no [protected] - inspite of various complaints dish tv not working from last 10 months inspite of that we have paid advance payment up to may 2008
    I am very upset with the service of DISH TV . I have been frequently giving complains for getting it rectified for last 3 months but there has always been commitment from the call center that there will be a engineer coming to get it rectified but thank for the pathetic services till date there has no one come to get it rectified thus I have booked a tata sky connection today thus please terminate the services and get the refund processed .I have recharged for 6 months and i was able to use the setrvices for 15 days only after that i have been complaining and since last 3 months services have not yet been rectified . I want the services to be terminated and refund the amount i have paid .

    I have complained large number of times and then only I have booked a new connection of tata sky .I have spoken to the local distributor and as discussed with him " we have taken the connection in BIG BAZAR scheme in mumbai and I am recharging online thus he does not get any commission so he will not resolve the problem .
    We have recharged the dish tv but still i am not getting the response so please help us. My number is [protected]. So please do the needful waiting for ur response...
    I have DISH TV connection with full package till August 2009, but suddenly none of channels are working from morning. I called up customer care and after waiting for long could get through and raised the issue. The representation said he reset my account and it should work in 15 mins. As usual, it did not work and i had to call customer care again and bear with stupid Sharukh khan's voice for 15 mins! This time the representative conveniently said that systems are under updation so he can not do anything! and asked me to try calling after 1 hour to check if i'm lucky.

    This is not the first time that i have had such a bad experience with DISH TV. I'm totally fed up with their services and would like to take up this issue very seriously now.

    Dear Sir,
    I am using dish tv since last 3 to 4 years, i am facing many problem regarding complaint of dish tv customer care.
    I have 1 + 2 dish tv connection at my house, recently i have recharge my 3 dish tv VC 1 parent and 2 child for Rs 1800.00 on 1st of July 2009 through customer care centre. i have opted for full package recharge. i have been told that my all three connection will get full channels as i was getting it previously also.
    After 6 hours my dish tv has been updated but one child connection [protected] does'nt get star packeges, no sports channels and many more channel is not comming. i again call customer care for complaint on 2nd july the lady has taken my complaint and told me that she has updated my account and also refresh the channel also so you will get all your channels. i ask for my complaint No and she give me my customer complaint no 24380800. but i had got no result.
    again i have call customer care on 4th july today at Ahmedabad customer guy call Mohan told me that you had no complaint with us i have told him the No 24380800 also but he say there is no such complaint. then i had told him my problem that my one child VC [protected] is not getting certain channels, he told me that you will not get the channel and you have to pay for that channel. No child VC will get these channel. then i told him that i m getting it on another Child VC and i was getting the full channels since last so many times, he told me that i could be some company mistake that you gets the full channels,

    Dear sir please help me what to do, each time i call custormer care there is some new guy and they say some new story every time. I am very upset with the dish tv complaint there is no proper answer for the complaint and the customer care person is also not aver of the complaint they received what are there solution and they also has no manner who to speak to the customers. they used very rough languages.

    cheep service very difficult sms format may loss up to 10 Rs above this is pakka cheetting .In home pack no need FTV you simply add one cartoon channel, FTV sex is not intersting net cafe and internet is enough Why beacuse ALL ARE IN BIRTH DAY SUTIE we are hopefull to adding a cartoon channel insted of FTV

    I purchase a DTH connection from Dish TV on 25/08/2012, two days it work very good but in the morning 27/08/2012 i open the tv it show recharge your connection. i phoned to local dish tv distributer on the same day, i complained the CC of DIsh Tv, but they told me that we have not recived any document of your connection, so send your SAf form scan copy to [protected]@dishtv.in , after that we will start your connection. after i send 4 time SAF form to above said email address. after that i contact to head office of dishtv 4 time but till date my coonection not re start

        Dishtv ki sabsi badi problem…………………..

        Dishtv sabse pahla DTH compney hai, but sabhi DTH iska copy karke aage ho gaya hai….
        Dishtv wahi ki wahi rah Gaye. Only channel add karma.

        Dishtv kahti hai mera package sabse Shasta hai ,jo wrong hai isse Shasta Videocon ka hai jo 265 rupees me 243 channel channel provide kar rahi hai , aur dishtv ka (AA-LA pack UTV pack bhi 33 rupees ka hai aur isse Airtel 15 rupees me provide kar rahi hai, dishtv Shasta kaise hoga…

        Dishtv 4 saal me abhi tak koi major problem KO solved nahi kiya hai………..

        Wo rain fade problem ho,
        Video freezing ki,
        Free to air channel par EPG and Digital video and audio quality….

        DD (govt. of India) ki hai Jo Tata sky and airtel KO bhi provide kar rahi hai (free to air channel) jisme video qulitey and EPG bhi milta hai…….

        Other DTH me rain fade nahi hota and video freezing nahi and Free to air par EPG ka hona, WO bhi 7days ka and channel change me second ka bhi time nahi lagna.

        Abhi kuch din pahle dishtv ne HD BOX launch kiya , usme bhi kuch na kuch kami nikal gayi……….usme only platinum pack hi run karta hai..

        Uska copy karke other DTH one week me HD box lunch kiya but usme sabhi pack run karta hai..

        Abhi bhi samjh nahi aaya dishtv KO itne saal ke baad kuch lunch kar raha hai to kuch Na kuch kami rah jaye….

        Dishtv se other dth bhaut aage badh Gaya hai …..

        Dishtv ke paas abhi bhi old satellites and old software version hai.. ye sab tab hi sahi hoga, jab tak iska interal change nahi hoga tab tak ye sabhi problem solved nahi hoga…

        1- Rain fade
        2- Video freezing
        3- EPG and digital video qulitey and sound (free to air)
        4- Channel change me time lagna
        5- Singel week hona
        6- Paisa only Marketing par nahi, services par use karna hona.
        7- Old software and satellite ka hona
        8- Koi services sabse aage launch aur bad me sabse peeche hona.
        9- Daily base par kuch Na kuch problem aana.
        10- Process ka bahut slow hona.
        11- Channel change karte samay 301 signal not found aana.

        Dishtv new new problem lati jaise Licping problem.(video and audio sath -sath nahi run karna)

        Dishtv me sabhi problem hai aur isse copy karke sabhi DTH ne apne aap ko accha kar liya aur dishtv abhi tak wahi ki wahi rah gayi,aur customer ko goal goal round karwa rahi hai……..


        Other DTH me koi prolem nahi aati hai and WO apne aap ko NO.1 bhi nahi kahti aur dishtv itna add karne ki kosish bhi nahi karti hai..

        Other DTH sabhi riginal channel ko add karti hai aur dishtv only south and Marithi, gujrati and south channel ko add karti hai..

        Other DTH dishtv se copy karke sarv gun sampran hogayi hai aur dishtv ki ussi Blind gali me round karwa rahi hai customer ko..

        Dishtv only adding for Bhojpuri channel in pleatfrom and IBN7 Aur B4U MOVIES....

        Dishtv delete your channel in dishtv pleatfrom –ye sabhi Faltu channel add karke no. if channel count kara rahi hai.

        Dish TV — deleting star channels

        I am having a connection of dish tv, my consumer no is [protected] and depositing monthly instalment of Rs 300 per month.Now all of the suddenn dish tv has stopped all star channels.I called the local dealer, he says that u have to shell out Rs.37 more for star chhanels, the company has increased the amount as there is no prior infromation to me is't it a sheer cheating with me increasing subscription when ever they want and compel us to pay more.saddest part is that they do not answer on the toll free no.please register my complaint against cheating

        I completely agree to these issue narrated above. Adding to these.. they have taken the full liberty to remove channels at their own discretion.. its a complete waste of money with this DISHTV..

          At the time of purchase distv has given me somany attractive offers but now at the time of first recharge when i enquire about it they say there is no offer avail in the market of payterm, distv people are calling me 4 to 5 times in a day for rechage but do not take an initative to informe the customer that the offer has ended or what soever, my last date of recharge is 18-09-10 and now i have to pay more money on my first recharge

            I would like to share my bitter experience with everyone those are consumer of DISH DTH TV Satellite.
            After purchase the sate up box with 3 months platinum complimentary completed we like to go with silver package because after one month we will go to our native for 45 days then we will decide. After complimentary completed we took silver package so we has paid Rs.40/- because we come down. Then after 45 days we are like to go with Gold Pack permanently this is on month of December 2009 after 45 days they take again some activation charges. Till today we are in Gold Pack but during this 9 months we are suffer lots of WISH FROM DISH. Check all the following "WISH FROM DISH"
            No.1) Month of Jan, Feb, Mar, April = No issues & our recharge date is on 15th of the month. Because we return on 14th from native & 15th we activated again.
            No.2) Month of May I recharge as usual to local dealer on dated of 15th that is Saturday from 8 pm on same day our connection suddenly disconnected I called that local dealer office then contact that person he said I don't know I did my job, then I called to customer care & total cost of call is Rs.130/- from cell somehow they are convinced & activate on Sunday. On Monday I given written complain against my local dealer to DISH TV but finally result is my recharge date has been changed on 17th of the next month
            No.4) Next Month June on 17th I start to pay threw Internet Banking
            No.5) On July due to some reason I gone to dealer and recharge for Rs.210/- from my dealer i come to know now there was no scheme of Golden Package it was change to Gold Sever pack I said we don't want we are happy with this. I don't know what he did after come to home I seen on my television screen a message regard my next recharge date is 16th of the next month
            No.6) August is no issues date is 16th I paid threw I.B.
            No.7) Now this month means September 2010 my date is 16th I recharge threw Internet Banking on 16th between 5p.m but on 17th means today at morning as usual when I switch on my television I seen there one message your connection is deactivated due to subscription is not yet received at that same time I has called to customer care number [protected] and explain them everything, finally after explaining clearly that lady executive answer is we are help less because we not received your payment.
            I send a e-mail to Dish TV customer care with CC to invoice section then I got a sms from Dish TV that my payment has been receipts after 1 hour one more sms I received there mention I should pay my next subscription on 12th of next month.
            After receive this I called to same customer care number and I talk with some Mr. Ifran or may be Irfan he try to explain about 31 days month & 30 days of month. I just ask him how many month in a year have 31 days month & 30 days. he is not able to answer that. My question is in one month suddenly reduce 4 days how it possible because August is 31 days month September is 30 days month & October is 31 days month then how it is reduce 4 days?
            This executive try to convince me that our calculation by days, if it is then dealer should inform when we are purchase at that time we don't know your formula of calculation or company policy, then this Mr. Irfan answer is now Golden pack is Rs.225/-. not Rs.210/- I just ask him how we come to know? When they remind regard subscription often then why they are not informing or why not your company not inform through messages to direct our connection.
            This is my bitter Experience towards DISH TV. DISH CAN WISH whatever they want to apply with all consumer. Because we are Wish for Dish so, now we are get return according our expected wish.

            This is absolutely correct
            every dth provider has yearly payment option for silver, gold and all other packages. But dishtv stopped that yearly payment option for south silver, south silver saver, south gold and south gold saver packages during ganesha festival (septembet 2010). dishtv now has yearly payment option for only titan and platinum packages. Why?

            pay 6 use 7, pay 12 use 14 payment options for all the packages in dishtv is stopped. Requesting to restart those options.
            i agree on these.

              This is regarding my recent recharges and the validity I got.
              I have done two recharges
              1. `200.00 on 21/08/10
              2. `500.00 on 14/09/10

              But even after this my next recharge date is said as 01/12/10. I thought I must be getting at-least 3 months of subscription for `500 for silver pack worth `150.
              I can’t understand what is the type of calculation Dish TV is having???

              Next, I received an SMS “dish tv will be SWITCHED OFF if not recharged BEFORE 16/09” it’s quite sad that Dish TV talk to your customers like this. It looks like kind of threatening.

              IS THIS YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE??????

              I feel really ashamed of having any relation with such a service provider.

              It’s just that I don’t have enough time to get another connection that I recharged my Dish TV VC this time. I was seriously considering for going some other service providers.

              I was informed earlier that Dish TV charge the customer some `20 for not recharging on time.
              I don’t know what makes Dish TV think that Dish TV can fine us for not recharging. This is something which is completely on our interest and Dish TV can’t force us to do it.
              It is pathetic to see that Dish TV is making money like this.

                i recharge distv vc no [protected]-1 in rs 750 date[protected] at 2.30 pm through costumer care, but after 28 hrs. any chhanel not found in setup box. i complaints in custumer care no [protected] every 2 hrs, but not in action. every time speaking 2 hrs start a tv than your chhanel start but after 28 hrs no any chhanel running.

                  i think i m using the silver package offered by them
                  they are offering additional things as per la-carta packs

                  as per its advertisements and website: www.dishtv.in i wanted to activate SONY pack due to IPL for a month
                  so i went through its website for further information on its subscription and charges being charged by it and all the further information

                  as per the website, i activated SONY pack through for a month as the charges specified there were Rs 45 + tax per month.. so i activated it with an intent to avail that service for a month
                  other than this, there was no more information given regarding any compulsion of this service

                  now when i called up to dish tv, his executive (abhishek goswami) informs me that the above package will not be deactivated till my subscription gets over.. that means now he was informing me that this service cannot be deactivated and it will go on for around 6 more months and i will have to pay the dues for 6 more months

                  i think i have given u the complete information
                  i hope i will get justice from this fraudulent company... they must have specified specifically in their website about the terms of that package.. instead they used this as a trick to fraud customers and take more money from us
                  i have recharage 2 dih tv connaction of rs 750 each for 6+1=7 month on 20 apr 2010 from a dealerbut my one connecation clossed on 10 aug and second is valid for 24 aug2010 while my connecation rechararge for 2o nov 2010 i contact dish tv by email and phone but not good response first he says provide us recipts which i provided . u r surprise that no recipt provided to any coustomer for recharge plz investigate this fraud done by every cable co to pepole and highlight this fraud matter ,i hope a good response from ur end

They make me fool, i already lounge a complain in there office (through mail & telephonic ) so many times but still not getting any response even i directly shoot a mail to MD of the Company([protected]@dishtv.in) but still not getting any response,

                    I am forwarding you mail which i sent to MD:-

                    I am Praveen Kr. Gaur DISH TV Subscriber my VC NO. is [protected]. I am taking this connection on the basis of my Brother Dr.Pankaj kumar subscription. I had talk with customer care before taking connection & they suggest me to take subscription under child plan because of same Address. I agree for that and call the customer care on 22/6/2010. for new connection in my room on same address. customer care informed me that you have to pay only Rs.1860/- (Including All taxes) for the subscription for (Rs.170/- per month) three month & few movies you can see in between 100 days was Absolutely free.
                    I payed that amount to the sales Person but later on i feel i can view only few channel but on the basis of my brother plan (Titanium) I am eligible for Platinum plan. i spoke to the customer care & the concern person said your plan is Gold plan & under this plan i can view few channel then i said no, as per plan i required only Platinum Plan. he said very politely "no worry sir i just convert it into Platinum Plan". but end of August i saw my Service was Deactivate I spoke to Customer care again He said your connection is Individual (as per given detail of scan image of saf form & bill ) & you have to pay Rs.325/- per month for Platinum Plan. But during time of connection i spoke to customer care Executive he said i can pay Only Rs. 168 or Rs 170/-.
                    Because of misguidence of Sales Person & misguiding of customer care I faced this problem. kindly Activate my plan under Multi connection/ child plan.

                        Myself Sourya Suvankar Swain,I am using DISH(vc no- [protected]) tv for last 2.5yrs, & I was viewing gold pack(225 per month),actually before 3month there was some offer was going on, thst was if we recharge for 3month at a time then I can able to see gold saver pack(275 per month),this offer was provided by them. So i recharge my dish tv of amount 670 on 04-June-2010 & my last recharge date was updated to 06-Sept-2010 & I also able to see gold saver pack inpalce gold pack.
                        When I contacted them on 6-Sept and ask them wheather there is any charges applied if i will come to my Gold pack again.Then they told me that "no sir there was no charges demand from your side because this offer was provided by us".Then i told ok alright please activate my Gold pack again,they told me ok sir i forward your request(request no[protected] & kindly recharge immiedeitly.I told ok & then i recharged my dish of amount 500. But now they are telling me that if I downgrade my pack(that is Gold pack) then I have to give Rs 40 more.I was asking why I am going to give Rs 40 more because my package was upgraded due to you not for me.Then why i will pay,then they told me "sory sir we cant do anythink" I also asked them to repay my recharge amount but they dont.
                        Kindly help me Sir, what can I do ?
                        Why I am going to give downgrade charge becasue upgrade was done by dish tv team not by me ?

                          I have recharged @ 630 Rs for 3 months. Dish TV said for three months promotional offer will enable me Gold Saver Pack for three months at 210X3 =630. After three months, I recharged now and it has automatically deducted 270 Rs for gold saver plan. I never applied for this plan...... As it was promotional I feels cheated now.

                          Other Problems:
                          1. I have registered by mobile for CALL BACK service before two months..l No reply.
                          2. During tenure of those promotional three months my DTH stops on alternate day and my next recharge date was wrong.
                          3. Consumer complaint number given for Gandhinagar is not working (does not exist!!!)
                          4. I have called on [protected] for complaints so many time but it is not working.

                          Justice needed..

                          1. I have recharged for 300 Rs now so I should get 210 plan plus balance for next recharge. But I got one month period only.

                            Dear Sir/Madam my Name is Shiv Seth and I am a owner of Dish TV and I have two Dish TV connections. One is my old connection-VC no-[protected] and I’ve recently purchased new connection on 4th June 2010 VC no-[protected] under the “Box Free Offer” Scheme and received subscription for 100 days, which is going to expire on 4th September 2010 and I was told by customer care department of dish tv that I can convert this new connection (by sending an email to customer care department) into multi - connection i:e child connection VC no-[protected] as I want to keep my old connection as parent connection- VC no-[protected] .But with deep regret I want to say that I am being cheated by your customer care department as they are saying different story now that its not possible to convert your new connection into multi-connection but while purchasing the new connection they told me u can convert it into multiconnection at later stages ,so it is very unethical practice from your customer care department, that to sell your products you give them false commitments and thus cheat your customers and I never expected this from company like yours and after being loyal customer for more than 7 yrs ive been treated like this.
                            So I kindly request you to convert my new connection into child connection VC no-[protected] and keep my old connection as parent connection- VC no-[protected] . I hope you will do the needful ASAP.

                            Dear All,

                            I'm the customer of dist tv from last 1 & 1/2 yr

                            Last yr i recharge my account online for 1 yr with amount of Rs.3240/-
                            and by mistake i pay 2 times i.e. Rs.6480/-
                            but separatly my credit card shown 2 transactions on this account

                            so i called customer care on same day so they reply that we cant erfund your ammount but we can do one thing we can recharge your account after one yr with same amount till time your money will be deposited in my account
                            and after 1 yr i.e. now on 9th May, 09
                            i called customer care number but guess what???

                            there is no manual responce
                            Ahhhh which was erritating and when i called for recharge & told them this story then they said sorry sir
                            we dont have such service with us
                            You need to recharge again
                            and i was shocked

                            then my question is what about my money Rs.3240/-

                            if any one from Dist TV read this then plz reply
                            i'm fed up with such false commitment
                            in todays world customer service is the only thing which will make Brand name

                            My name is Shoaib I got a sms from dish tv that if I would recharge for 2 months I would get the third month subcription for free.

                            Yesterday was 3rd of april 2013 and as per the commitment from dish tv the next recharge date should be 2nd of july however as the per

                            the records my next recharge date is 31st of may 2013.
                            I was asked to pay 770 rupees as my monthly subscription is 385 Rupees when I asked for the refund they mentioned they never refund the money.


                            I feel that i have been cheated by Dish tv they made the false commitment which they dint fullfill.


                            secondly I bought this HD connection to see the hd channels after 2 hours from installation they hd channels were gone. Within 24 hours of reinstallation I called and they mentioned that its an alignemnt issue and I would have to pay more than 200 rupees for the technician visit.


                            Now again there is an issue as within 24 hours of installation they are asking me to pay again for the services which never really worked at first go.

                            and they say they cant help me unless I pay technician visit charges which is more than 200 rupees.


                            The issue with this one is that even if I pay those technician visit charges there no assurance that I wont have any issues, it can move with air anytime.

                            so if I would have the same issue 2 times a month then I am paying more than 400 rupees as technician charges over and above my monthly

                            subcription charges. I think this is pretty unfair but they say this is there policy but I think this is their policy to make earnings.


                            Please help me out with this ASAP.

                              My suggestion to all not to purchase Dishtv and to shut down Dishtv company.

                              I’m Duba Lama from Vill-Sishujhumra, Distt. Jalpaiguri (Binnaugri), I’m continuously facing “No access / Signal not found” problem. I regularly complaint to Customer Care of Dishtv but till date my problems has not been solved. My first complaint was on 27.08.2010 and regularly I'm complaining. My goodness, on 30.08.10, I rang to customer care executive early in the morning, but the lady on the call said I had not complained on 27/08 to 298/10. Whereas she said I complained on 30.08.10. Where the complaint no. Have they all deleted from there record. For kind information my complaint no. is as follows:

                                On many occasions Dish TV are not airing/displaying/providing DD Sahyadri, IBN LOKMAT, DD News, P-7, AASTHA channels. Last week, I paid their service provider Rs. 170 for adjusting the dish. The above channels were available for 2/3 days.
                                Out of above DD Sahyadri which is mandatory for every cable/dish/DTH provider, IBN Lokmat are not available. My dish is under warranty of 1 month. As other channels are available and these two are not available the dish TV seem ti have stopped providing these channels. Earlier also this problem was there. With little rains all DD channels are not available when many other channels are available, this clearly shows that dish tv is not giving DD channels any priority.

                                  i bought my disdh tv connection about a month ago,but it shows a number of problems in just begining.i gave complaint to dish tv customer care but not further action has been done by them...every time they give us a new complaint numbers but never give a solution..on call they said there will be no charge of repairing to you dish tv because you have new connection,but the technicians collects money from us for repairing.i recorded the all calls of them ..i have full evidence ..sir plz take a further action on them because they are making fun of innocent persons like me.

                                    I am regret to inform you that during rainy days usally first to stop signals for the SCV/DD Podgai/Kalingnar/Mega TV. After the rain was over the signals are not coming properly. I contaacted DISH Tv technical wing. They told me that Satellite Transponder relaying the said TV signals are not working properly. For the last three days during the day time the signals are coming but in the nights, the same problem I was noticing. Please take immediately action. as I am watching regulary the SCV (Tirupathi Sri Venkateswara Bakhti Channel). Please ack. with regards

                                      Hello,

                                      I am an existing Dish TV consumer. I had selected for the Standard Gold package that costs Rs. 210 pm. In the month of May, I paid Rs. 630/- to subscribe for 3 months. Now, in August I again paid Rs. 630/- for another 3 months subscription, when I came to know that my package was changed to Gold Saver with Rs. 270 pm fees. When I enquired, the customer executive told me that there was a scheme in the month of May that automatically changed my existing package from Standard Gold to Gold Saver. When I asked why it was not communicated to me then he gave me lame excuses and said now there is no way but I will have to pay for Gold Saver. When I said, I dont intend to go for Gold Saver and asked him to change to Standard Gold package, then he said, he will charge me Rs. 40. When I asked for the reason, then he said it is standard fee for downgrading the package. I was surprised and got to know the trick with which Dish TV has found ways to fool consumers and loot money from them.

                                      Anyway, as it was in vain to talk with arrogant customer executives, I decided to go for Silver Saver pack, which has even lesser channels than standard Gold package and satisfied myself that at least I had not paid for downgrading of Gold package without having my mistake.

                                      Apart from this, if you delay in making the payment, then they will cut the transmission. But when you want to pay again, then they will charge you Rs.20 for delayed payment. I was surprised with this 2 way sword, you cut the transmission and also charge late fees. This obviously is called as looting and nothing else.

                                      Every service provider in India nowadays are playing these tricks to loot consumers and they know nothing will happen as consumers will not find time to fight for the cases. I thank to this forum as at least I could vent out, not sure if my complaint will be heard by anyone.
