1. The recharge coupon of Rs. 125 for silver pack as advertised by DishTV is NOT available at any outlet nor is the same available on Oxigen recharge voucher. The minimum amount of recharge available through Oxigen is Rs. 250 and NOT Rs. 125. This is totally against what is advertised or claimed.

2. DishTV charges Rs. 40 as downgradation charges if a subscriber changes his pack from a higher to lower denomination which is unjust, unfair, unethical and unprofessional. It is the individual subscriber's choice as to which pack he would like to view and he should not penalised for viewing a lesser denomination pack.

3. It takes lot more than 24 hours to recharge and activate the DishTV account unlike the claims put forward by DishTV.

4. DishtTV doesnot have a toll free customer care number to all on in case of complaints. They make the customers hold for a long time before the customer is put through to a customer service representative.

All the above prove the level of your incompetence and unprofessional conduct on part of DishTV. I would very soon permanently switch over from DishTV to some other service provider and would advise the other subscribers to NOT buy any new DishTV connection.

Moreover, I am going to spread awareness about your malpractices both online over the internet and otherwise so that no more gullible customers like me are defrauded by DishTV.

Dish TV — Don't Buy DISH TV subscription or HD

DO NOT go for dish tv service. Their customer service sucks.

They lie about previous discussions and offers too.

They remove your balance and ask for more top-up.

    Yesterday afternoon i sent the message and still the channel is not activated. Also sent email to dishtv customer care. can you guys activate the channel ASAP?

    I'm trying to add DISHTV A-La-Carte pack and sent SMS for the same.
    DISHTV ADD 656 [protected] ( I sent the SMS to 57575 on[protected] at 10'clock)

    even after sending this message before the deadline of free preview of neo plus package still the channel is not activated to my VC.infact the viewing service was disconnected on[protected] at 9.00am. i really don't understand why U people act so irresponsibly. The customer care numbers, when i sent a message as CALL ME they never responded, when i used to call, all lines are busy. Atleast now, can you guys activate the neo plus package ?

      I made payment to Dishtv Rs 214 on 23 Feb, I got the receipt and starts my service but after 10 days my services stopped saying my payment bonce back to me, But I dont received the payment. Also I dont get the payment as per banking statement payment forwarded to DISHTV. Now dishtv charge me Extra Rs 147. I lost my rs 214 and extra charge 147 charge to me

      DishTV — Lost payment

      Sir/ madam
      with due respect i wish to bring to ur kind notice that i made subscription renewal payment of Rs.1800 through ITz card telephonically (between 24/10/2008 to 27/10/2008). now i am told that no such payment has been made. unfortunately i dont have the tranaction ID and the ITZ cards have been destroyed by me. At the time of payment i was told that the next renewal date is somewhere in the month of May 2009. But now payed channel are not available. Please guide me how can i trace the details of my transactioc? I ll be obliged.

        Please refer my morning complaints. Again miss call at my airtel no.[protected] is received from ISD No.[protected] AT 1.23 PM shows that the culprit is safe ( He has told his name Sunder Singh). The other culprit named as Rahul Patel No. is[protected].

        Kindly treat it utmost important since these people might have been cheating/befooling other many people.

        This is reminder of my morning complaint and ISD no.[protected] user is still trying to cheat me/others. CATCH THESE CULPRITS. They might be in india using Nos of Sialkot (Pakistan)

        By posting your mobile phone number online, you are asking for trouble - fraudsters and scammers are always looking out for people who leave their phone numbers, email addresses or other private data online, and thus open to misuse.

        If I were you, I'd cancel this mobile phone immediately and ask Airtel for a new number.

          Dear person In charge,

          I filled a complaint regarding faulty functioning of my Dish Tv, I was given complaint No. 35868882 and told that the technician wil visit my place. same day guy called Mukesh visited my place, but rather then rectifying the problem he increased it. There were already many channels missing from my TV and when he scanned few moew went OFF, and when I told him that AAJ TAK channel was coming before he scanned the tv he tols no it was not coming, I don't believe your words. and left after collecting his fees without rectifying my complaint, I am feeling cheated and am very unhappy with the technician.

          I may advise people to go for other DTH services if they have better coustomer care because they will certainly need it from time to time.

            I purchased Dish TV
            They sent me one SMS that "Subscribe for 6 months and get 7 months service". I followed them but I see that they are providing only for 6 months service. They sent me wrong information.

              I[censored] say they listen to u at customer care mail ID...its completely wrong..In my case i have beenreferring to dish tv abt my complaint...and after 7 days of follow up...my complaint No[protected].has been clossed without even informing me...
              worst Service j have ever expected from a company like Dish Tv

              My complaint was abt not providing me the extra bonus with 1000/- Rs recharge that i did...and not gigng me the free A-la-carte package i had subscribed...even i have receipt from distributor which mentions that i have been given Gold + UTV Pack Free...Can u imagine anythng worst????????

                Sir,

                I subscribed to Dish tv services on 31.03.2009 with 100 days package.

                My V C no.: is [protected]

                We were offered a complete package of all channels for initial 100 days
                , but subsequently after 10 days few channels (UTV, Bindass & consequently Zee Gujarati) were automatically disconnected without prior information. Upon inquiring with Dish Tv customer care, we were informed that now these channels will be under paid services. THIS IS A FRAUD BY THE DISH TV SERVICE PROVIDERS!!. In a way we were misguided and legally were authorized to avail this facility without any extra charge for 100 days!.

                We are regularly facing problem o[censored]nnecessary deductions of amount from our recharge price. We regularly pay for silver pack + colors but the amount always is considered only for silver pack. We have to regularly followup with the customer care (who are usually not available) to get back the colors channel. Inspite of several complains, they do not upgrade our package details on the my account info. Everytime we get the same reply that there is some technical fault in their system..IS THIS OUR FAULT??? WHY SHOULD WE BEAR THE COST FOR THEIR FAULTS????

                Last payment made on 17.02.2010 for silver pack + color paying Rs 150.00. I received message on my cell on 24th intimating that we can opt for supersilver pack by contacting the customer care. When we had a conversation with customer care, we were being told that the super silver pack will be upgraded and the last payment date will be reflected either by msg on cell or on my account in dish tv. This date as on 22.03.2010 (until 8.00pm) showed due date as 22.03.2010. But the channels were deactivated on 21.03.2010 without any intimation. Upon enquiry with c.c we were informed that due to TECHNICAL fault, the wrong date was being shown. IS THIS OUR FAULT??? I even did not received any intimation on my cell number!.

                Today on 22.03.2010 I recharged my account with Rs. 200 at the Dish Shoppe, C-145 Swaminarayan nagar, Opp. Maruti Complex, Channi Road., Nizampura, Vadodara - 390024, Ph:[protected]. The receipt number is 2355 clearly mentioning the scheme as silver pack + color. But received an intimation on the cell at 4.33 pm that the transaction[protected] was successful for Rs.150. Why Rs.50 were deducted????? The customer care people do not take any responsibility of their dealer. The customer care person that we talked was Mr. Vikas Sharma with our complain number[protected].00pm). In spite of deducting 50 Rs. the color channel was also not activated. This type of harassment is regular with either mistakes in recharge date or recharging the channels. I wish to take LEGAL actions against them.

                Kindly advice on how to proceed and look forward to your earliest assistance.

                Customer Care always assure u to be resolved your query within 24 hours, but never resolved.. You have to file complaint many times & each time u have to give them all feedbacks again & again..

                Channel Packages are not updated regularly.. even after one year u can not view certain new demanded channells..

                When u reinstall the Dish, They Charges are Rs. 450/-, but dish transportation in your scope.. They will never assure u about service, No cordination between service centers of different cities.. always ask payments in advance..

                Overall I suggest do not go for Dish TV.. go for Doordarshan its better.. at least u can view all free channels..

                  On dt. 19.03.2010 I send a massege to 57575 for UTV code no 2205 of Rs. 50 (Ala card). My V.C.no. is [protected] and mobile no. is [protected] and [protected]. The Ala card no. which I had sent is[protected] and code no. is 1065. The conformation report was also delivered on my mobile no. [protected]. But the chennel is still not activated. I call to customer care and conversation goes till 30 minites. But no results are still.
                  On 21.3.2010 through my mobile no. [protected] I again send a Ala card no.[protected] and code no. is 6446 for the same chennel code no. 2205 of Rs. 50. Again there is no responce.
                  I want to ask to the higher authority of Dish TV where is my Rs.50+50 amount is gone? Is this is a trick to cheat the people or to harras the people. In your couster caer the people are quite illitrate. They dont know how to handle these type of cousters complane. Every time they are droping my calls. I have no time to trace you people again and again.I am paying for my intertainment and you are giving me mentel stress. With Rs 50+50 I have wasted my valueable energy and time.
                  If you people are not effecient to provide good services to the coustomer please go from the market. People have another services in the market. But dont try to make fool the people.
                  I want my Rs. 100 services immidiatly in my account for which I have paid for. If you can please go through. If not tell me I will do the next step.

                      I have recharged my Dish TV account with VC No [protected] on 29 Januaray 2010 for silver pack. I have made a online payment for 3 months Rs 375/-. I received a message stating that your transaction has been declined to avoid the disconnection I made a second time payment on the same date by selecting ZRZR offer and selected 2 Ala cart packs. I have given a call to the customer care for the same and they replied that they have not received the payment & my ICICI bank account will be credited in 2 or 3 days but on 03 Feb 2010 I received a message that they have received payment & my next recharge date is in month of August.

                      Yesterday I have received a message stating that your recharge date is[protected] because I am not entitled for ZRZR offer for the payment received by them on 03 Feb 2010.

                      If Dish Tv has not received the payment this is not my problem.

                      Further this should be resolved as early as possible.

                          I have lodge complain for Card refress error and Channel hang. after geting service and charging approx. Rs. 350. my Set top box is totally fail and now i cant watch TV for Single channel.
                          Service center said your STB is not repairable and you have to purchse new STB by Rs. 1590/-. very poor quality product from DishtV

DISHTV responded,accepted the fault and rectified the same, the same is repeated again. after getting payment of Rs. 700/- they informed me through SMS and their massage centre that my next renewal is on 8th of June'2010. today they changed the renewal to 31/05/2010. without any reason or SMS, only on Massage centre.
                              so can you emagine sir, basing on their own report, how many customer who are not knowing how to complaint such cases, if they even cheat 5 days charge from each customer, daily how much they are earning from the uneducated or from busy people, who are using DISHTV .

                              Please look into the matter, if necessary i will go for legal action, not only for me for the indians whome the company cheating forever.

                                I have made a payment of Rs.400 towards the recharge of Dish TV renewal on 18th Feb 2010 thru netbanking. The complaint number is 34522832, VC num: [protected]
                                The due date was 23rd Feb 2010. I still get reminders that the payment is due for recharge. I have been following the Dish TV Customer care since 19th Feb 2010 and there is no proper response.
                                I mailed the DishTV CC even and sent the screen print of the payment made. They asked for a scaned copy of my statement of bank a/c. I even sent the scan copy of it. Inspite of following up thru mails and calls from 6 days, the issue is not yet resolved but i get calls that the connection will be disconnected and will be charged for the grace days and reconnection charges.
                                They always say that it will take 24hrs to resolve the issue, but its been 6 days since i raised this issue to them.

                                Dear Sir,

                                I paid Rs. 700 for DISH TV renewal on 09.05.09 at Shree Shyam Distributors, Allahabad. ( Cash Receipt No. 303 ) . However, I received message from DIsh TV that Rs. 692 has been received. (Transaction no.[protected]

                                When I enquired from the Distributor after two days, I was told that it would be adjusted next time. Apart from this, I got a satirical remark from Mr. Mayur Agarwal that by calling four times I will lose eight rupees automatically. 'Char baar phone karoge to aath rupiya aise hi ghus jaayega !' were the words of Mr. Mayur.

                                Its not a question of just eight rupees, it is a question of transparency. I should have been informed about it by the distributor on 09.05.09 itself. If I had not enquired, I would not have been told about that .Also, I did not deserve a shameful remark from Mr. Mayur.

                                  Dish TV — channels are closed before time

                                  i recharged my dish connection on 25th july with Rs 300 maxi recharge & renewal date is 24th Aug. But all the channels got barred just after 1 week after recharge. I am really upset since customer care is also not responding .

Why did they ask for the statements to prove? Why they have reversed the amount as per their version? What a pity for not believing Punjab National Bank's statement is nationalised bank.                                   I bought 1 yr subscription from the dish tv dealer metltek infosystems pune.
                                  It got expired after 10 mons and my account went into inactive state.
                                  Dish TV call center says that recharge was done in the way it should be by the dealer and hence i got 10 mons validity instead of 1 yr. I requested them to rectify it as its the mistake on there dealer part. But they keep giving me the same reason again and again.
                                  Also I am not getting proper response from the dealer also, they keep forwarding my phone call to one dept to another without providing any resolution.

                                  This is regarding the 1 yr titanium subscription pack that I bought on 9 jun 2010. Transaction No is 59725842. Although I bought the 1 yr package but it got expired 2 months before. As per my discussion with the customer care executive it got expired because it was not recharge in the way it should be by the dealer.
                                  I did talk with the dealer and he says that he can't help it out and I should reach out to dish tv customer service only.

                                  The dish TV franchise/dealer through which I bought subscription is Meltek Infosystems Pune. There contact number is 40720115.

                                  I understand the root cause of the problem so please don't gave me the same explanation again.

                                  All I know is it's not my mistake, someone has done some mistake either on your franchise side or on your system side and because of that I should not suffer.

                                  I will appreciate if you can please get in touch with your franchise and provide me the satisfactorily resolution for my complaint.

                                  We are just unable to watch Colors, UTV Action on my Dish TV having VC Number :- [protected] still i'd already recharged my account on 30th Nov, 13 with Rs.280.So, please activate it or tell us the correct way to watch these channels, especially Colors, without any kind of interruption.
                                  I am using dish tv Tru HD by mistake I opt some wrong option every time I browse a channel it shows me blue screen written "Active Services" and "loading" and that screen appear till I press green button could you please help me how to disappear this screen permanently.

                                  My VC Number is [protected]. On 11.09.2017 I have requested to change the package from Super Family to Swagat. As per instruction given by DISH TV Customer care representative I have set the TV on channel number 96. When setting a channel on 96 a message on screen was shown that please make a missed call on [protected] from your registered mobile number. In that shown message it was not clearly mentioned that this missed call is required for activation of additional music channel and the missed call was made. After making the missed call I came to know that music channel has been activated and for that additional amount Rs. 47/- will be paid monthly. Just after 10 minutes I talked with the representatives of customer care for deactivation of additional music channel. The representative of customer care told me that this activation is locked for minimum 1 month and for that you have to pay additional Rs. 47/- (including GST). I got surprised to know that there are no any provision of deactivation for min. 1 month. If there is a provision of activation of additional channel on additional cost the there should be provision of deactivation of additional channel as and when requested by customer. I think in this way these TV cable operators are making fool to public and making money. Please do the needful.

                                    im a user of dis tv.my vlc no is [protected],i activated silver plan in oct.i paid 750 rs for 6 month.a mesg just i got on my tv screen that next renewal date is 12 march,but at 18 feb my tv screen show need to recharge first.nw when i called customer care they told that you activated some pack.but i never activeted any pack from my side.even the mobile number also nt in use from month now,from which they say i activated pack.

                                      sir, when we buy a new dish tv we told if we are not countinue dishtv subsripition they ask us no problem u have to continouing FTA, FREE TO AIR CHANNELS, BUT WHEN WE INSERTED SMART CARD IN TO SET TOP BOX THEY WILL TOLD US RECHARGE THE SERVICE.SO I WANT TO KNOW WHY THEY BLOCKED FREE TO AIR CHANNELS.
