sir my name is OMPRAKASH SINGH my dish tv card no is [protected] .I h've made a recharge of 150 Rs.
but it is not providing me the service and responding me that " channel not found " . I've tried to your toll free service no. but they are not responding .
please start my service as soon as possible.

Dish TV — Channels not available

I chose a package online, the package name is South Silver and made payment
online. Once it was activated I noticed few channels which was shown while
buying were missing.

I called the customer care, the call was answered in a very unprofessional
way and she said that the site is not updated. I was not happy and I asked
her to escalate the call. It was forwarded to a senior person,
he listened to me and he promised to me that he will provide the missing
channels, without loosing anything and without paying any extra money.

Now, what ever channels missing earlier is coming but another set of
channels are missing. We watch Tamil and few Malayalam channels. Earlier
Surya and Kiran was missing, now entire Tamil channels are missing. This
Gentlemen has done a language change.

Again I called the customer care, unprofessional people etc. etc. Now I
spoke to Radhika, again she mentioned the same story and several sorry.

My questions is I paid and brought a set of channels online, how can they say
that site is not updated, is it my problem?

I have enclosed the screen shot of set of channels that was available
online. I have enclosed the same and I need all the channels that I
brought.

    I had ordered for a new dish tv connection through internet on 6th Dec 2010 and got a online Token No. 28150, mentioning within 5 days the product will be delivered at home., it is not mentioned anywhere on the site "dishtv.in" that its 5 working days, anyways I got it installed on 14th Dec 2010, that is on the 8th day It was charged 690 Rs. All this time there was also no correspondence from Dish TV and many times I tried calling their customer care, but they are very careless in handling and rude too, I spoke with many people names (DEBASHIS) (MOHAMAD AFTAB) this people said that they are the supevisors and they will call back which never happened.

    Now as its already installed and my VC # is [protected], and as per the plan I was to get a 1 months free viewing as per the website on the link: http://www.dishtv.in/special-online-offer.aspx and now on the screen it shows that you will have recharge it for further viewing.

    I made several calls to customer care on 18th Dec 2010 and they provided a complaint # 51374698 , again with a commitment of 2 hours to wait and there will be resolution on this issue, the complaint was regarding the same and they say that, they have not received the form which was already filled up and was carried away by the technician whos contact number is "[protected]" . Today on 19th Dec 2010 I again called the customer care and a guy name Ajit was simply shouting at me saying it will resolving soon.

    I would suggest to all my friends please do not go for dish TV, as there customer care is the worst part , simply go for any other service, other than Dish TV my contact is [protected]

      At last after 4 days ..I got the HD hardware..I had already paid Rs. 1775/-
      1. New HD set top box Rs.990/-
      2. Installation & service tax Rs.225/-
      3. Recharge for one month Rs. 560/-
      payment received by Mr. Deb Das & Sujay, authorized dist tv partner,

      Infinite marketing services on 10/07/2012 at 11 a.m. whose bill no. is

      227. However, still now service is not activated.
      My question is without any mail communication or made a call to

      customer care ...does anything can't be done properly. It's not first time

      for me .. I am facing this problem several time with ur service since

      2008. I[censored] guys have a record u can check it out from ur end also... there is a huge communication gap between ur call center and business

      franchise. Franchisee, owner-Mr. Sanjib Das, don't have the update regarding charges because they demand activation charge Rs. 400/- inspite of existing customer whereas after I made a call to customer care they withdraw that amount . Kindly make sure to rectify this..

      If Dishtv don't able to provide proper service... plz let me know. I'm ready to leave the service because there are other services provider available in India

        Hi,
        This is to inform you that I am one of the subscribers of Dish TV.
        My VC No is – [protected].
        As per due recharge date was 15th December 2010 and it was the first recharge for me. I have recharged
        INR 500/- on 14th December 2010.
        After that I have called to customer care on 15th of December 2010 and requested to downgrade the main package from Platinum to Silver Saver and deactivate all ala carte except “Colors, UTV Bindass and India Cricket Pack.”
        And I have been informed by customer care as per my first time recharge there is no downgrade charge applicable.
        Even I got confirmation SMS from Dish TV on 15th December at 11.20 PM to my registered mobile no – [protected] as “you have chosen Silver Saver Pack & next recharge date is 16th February 2011.”
        But after that unfortunately I got SMS on 16th December at 3.46 AM as “you have chosen Platinum Pack & next recharge date is 27th January 2011”.

        Then I have requested from online account to call me and got the call from customer care at 11.14 AM on 16th December.
        As per the customer care executive, she told me your account has been upgraded to platinum pack by mistake and it will be correct as per your request by 2 hours.
        But there is no improvement after 3 hours as well. Then Again I called few times at customer care but there is no resolution still now. I can observe now, there is Silver Saver Pack is activated but still few ala carte has been activated when I have not requested for those ala carte. My request was for only for 3 Ala Carte “Colors, UTV Bindass and India Cricket Pack.”

        I have experienced several times this type of worse service from Dist TV


        Now my question is there
        1. Is it really customer care service?
        2. If it is then all guys from team, are they really trained or educated to understand customer request?

        I think no, this is a useless call center even your telephony system also so noisy , customer and even your agent also really struggling to hear voice from each other.

        I want to inform you this point also, when I have requested to talk with senior, then always line has been disconnected from agent end. Even I did not get Nodal Officer number or email ID after several requests.

        And I personally feeling the dish TV service now a day’s really worse service in India because I have experienced several issues with Dish TV and with customer care.


        We have more than 3-4 Dish TV connections and we are facing same issues every time.

        I cannot remember all VC numbers but I can provide you all registered number

        Now I am requesting to you please rearrange my service as per my request as soon as possible and there should not be any charges applicable, because this is not my mistake. There should not be any downgrade charges and I wanting to refund the amount to my Dish TV account from 15th December as Silver Saver PACK. I won’t pay a single penny for the Platinum pack and all other ala carte as it is activated without my request. Just refund my all amount which has been deducted for activation and for continue from 16th to till now.

        As per my request below mention package should be remaining.

        1. Silver Saver Pack(Base Pack)
        2. Colors(Ala Carte)
        3. India Cricket Pack (Ala Carte)
        4. UTV Bindass (Ala Carte).

        I want this issue as resolved as soon as possible and provide me the Email ID and contact Number of Nodal Officer and top most level of your company.

          Sir,

          I'm having the Dish Tv DTH services since 2008.

          I have recharge my account for one year i.e. upto July 2011 under the Titanium Package.
          Sir, my set top box work properly but on 08.12.2011 Dish Tv send the some Software up-dation massage since from my Set Top Box (STB) showing ERROR massage. Then I call to Dish Tv' Customer Services on 09.12.2010 and launch my complaint vide No.[protected]Mr. Nitin attended me) on 10.12.2010 at 2.30pm i got call from Dish Tv regarding my problem. I brief him and he take my STB for repair, but after Half and hour he call me this STB was not repairable and this STB was out of warranty . Then I ask him for the alternative he & what about my balance period. Then he told Rs. 350 + tax to be extra charges then they issue the NEW STB. I agreed to pay, but he don't have any STB. Then he suggest me to I go to the any dealers of Dish Tv at Bhuntar. I'm approach to M/s. Tarun Enterprises, Bhutar, they also try but they could not solve my problem. then I'm again call to Dish Tv ask them what action they taken but they not give the proper reply.
          Since 09.12.2010 I'm help less from all side of Dish Tv.

              I was using Gold Saver Pack of Dish TV DTH.
              On 19th October, 2010 my account has due date for recharge.
              I has no use of Gold Saver Pack, So I applied for down gradation to Silver Saver pack on 16th October, 2010,
              after getting an SMS reminder for my recharge.
              I paid 490 rs. on 16th October.
              As per they informed me they charged me rs. 40 for down gradation process.
              Then suddenly they deducted aapprox. 264 rs. without informing me.
              When I asked for the same they give me some reason regarding some pay term offer.
              Whatever it may be, but without informing me they deducted this amount and hence my dish tv connection got deactivated on 28th November, 2010.
              Its 8th December 2010. and still my problem has not been solved.
              They are not giving me refund or waiver of that 264 rs.

                my vc no is [protected] for dish tv service zee network. my old pack was running gold. i have not upgraded pack. but their system automatically upgraded pack. when i inform them regarding that, at that time they again changed to my old pack and dedudted rs. 40 as a degradation charges. i talked their representative, they said by mistake our system automatically upgraded package.
                but now they are reluctant to accept their mistake and not rfund me degradation charges.
                at every recharge they are doing same mistake that means they are cheating people.

                DishTV — Deducted Rs. 40

                Dear Sir,

                I am 3 years old customer of dishtv. I had recharged for Rs 250 for silver pack for 2 months, and they have deducted Rs. 40, and said me this is downgrade charge. Which was not mentioned while i was recharging. I had complained to customer care but they are not listening. Their service is very poor and thatys why they are loosing not the customer of DishTv but Zee Group of business.
                Well when ever you change your package from higher package to lower package the these downgrade charges are aplicable to you these are basically the package handling charges. And it was well informed by dishtv. and even the customer care also told me while i had changed my package earlier.

                  Hi,

                  I had booked a connection last week. I am not happy with service of connection
                  provider.
                  First of all it took almost 8 days to provide a connection. Every time he gave
                  an excuse that he does not have boys to send.
                  Finally when his boys came they demanded extra charges for cabling Rs 300 apart
                  from 221 installation charges.

                  When I checked with customer care they said there extra charges only if wiring
                  done is more than 15 mts. That too they charge 12 Rs per mt for every extra
                  meter.

                  I really not happy with the service and I want my money back. Please refund the
                  amount I had paid.

                        I have dish tv set top box. Earlier Dish TV was not having tie up with NEO. So DD National ( on channel 115) was one of the channels on Dish TV. But now they tied up with NEO. Today on 1st december there is new zealand - india one day match. So they removed DD national channel (stopeed broadcasting). So that subscriber should subscribe to NEO package. This is extremely un-ethical.

                        i have a complain regarding servicing.
                        i bought a dish tv on 03-09-07 from a dealer at mohan singh market. They have installed the equipments on time. But one week after that it stoped working, I don't know the problem is. i have complained lot of times, they always end up taking my address and doing nothing, and giving me numbers to call this and call that. I personally when to the shop where i bought the DTH and asked what the problem was and when they are coming to fix it, just as always they ended up taking my address. But it seems no one is really concerned about servicing after sales. I called this number[protected] once and they also ended up saying we have not received any information or registration with the name Aton. Today i called the Shop (Murthi electronics), this was what they replied " hum lok servicing nahe karte, koi mechanic ko bola le "
                        well that was not what i expected. it is already 12-10-07 today.

                        i Want answers from DTH Customer care Department, and take action ASAP and to stop giving unnecessary Phone numbers.
                        or you can kindly return my money and take the DTH. I don't expect this. I have waited for one month, i'm fed up of the way they talk, no decency at all, and the reply i got today.

                        doordarshan / STB — poor service of doordarshan

                        Dear Sir,
                        In starting of DTH service of doordarshan made standards in service and have good No of channels but now a days it has already closed down 5 to 6 channels i.e. aaj tak, headlines today, simle tv, jagran, marathi tv, and so on .
                        and also the new channels started by doordarshan which are news24 and indianews have poor quality service.
                        what about the new indian sattelite insat4B.

                        Dish TV DTH — No action within last week

                        We have a DTH conection with VC no. [protected] and it is under warranty period. We asked Dish TV customer care at [protected] technician for aligning the dish antenna as we could watch only 10 or 20 channels. They sent a local private repair person who asked us Rs 150 for the repair. We refused and got them confirmed by dishtv about the free warranty service. They behaved rudely and again made the dish non-functional. Since then I registered complaint twice and last complaint number provided to me is 90625288 and no one visited us or contacted.

                        I want immediate action against the private service provider and also want dish tv to send someoe immediately for aligning the dish properly. Or i'll settle things in consumer court.

                        This is regarding my subscription(Mobile:[protected]) where I am unable to view national channels. They stopped "DD Bangla" and "DD National" with my subscription. I am not sure why.

                        I contacted multiple times your customer care and reported the same. They told it will be only available with HD set top box, you have to upgrade with HD. Why they are misguiding customer just for sales, not sure. They have taken my complain last time but no result and no timeline given.

                        This is completely unfair, how can you stop me to see free Govt national channel without any intimation. Is there any policy in your organization. I am strongly protesting against this and requesting you attention immediately. I am really disappointed with such service of Dish TV.

                        I called Dish TV customer care centre about why it is not showing DD national channel. They informed that as per supreme court guide line it is block during cricket matches. But as such DD national is free of all service providers. I think they are forcing to subscribe other channels which broadcast cricket matches on payment basis.

                          i ashish misra is subscriber of gold pack of DISH TV along with CHANNEL COLORS. for this i submitted 500 bucks in october. my custumer number is[protected]. afer paying money i m not getting CHANNEL COLORS. i complained to your one of the center at hussainganj in lucknow twice but every time your people didnt give proper response. that is why still i am not getting CHANNEL COLORS. On 27 of november i got a call from your number[protected] at 10.32 in the morning, there was a lady on the other side, i told her to solve my complain, but my complain is as it is. Now this is my last attempt for solving my complain. After this i will not get response then i have to switch over to another DTH company.

                            I called up to Dishtv CC as STB remote is not working(27/11/2010, 6:50PM). Then person (Vedivel P) logged a complaint[protected] and told that technician is going to visit my place by next 24 HRS.Then immediately i got a SMS from DishTV with the call no. After 15 mins i got a call from the dealer that we were going to send our technician by tomorrow 10 o'clock. Today(28/11/2010) after 11.00 am again i called to that dealer, dealer told that we had some issue. They were going to come to my place by 12 Noon / 1PM. At 11.35AM i got a call from the technician, that change your remote by going to some electronics shop as we didn't have the stock of remote. At the sametime i called up to DishTv CC informed the same to the CC person(Bhaskar).He told me that technician will be there at your place by 3PM. After 3PM again i called up to Dish Tv CC they told me that definitely technician will be at your place by 6Pm. Again the same story no one came to my place. Then i send a SMS to dishtv for the call me service. Then i got a call from Noida they asked me what is the issue. I told all the story. now they were saying that your STB is out of warranty.Here i am not getting one thing when yesterday i called to DishTV CC they told that your STB is under warranty.Here things are not matching. After lots of argument they told that they would send their technician but it would be under chargable basis.But i was not agreed.Now(8.35pm) when i called up to[protected] they(Naufer) told that your STB is under warranty till April 2011. Now what is this? Does DishTv CC has correct information about their customer's STB? Then again i explained the whole story to him.He informed me that your issue is under process.It would take another 24 HRS to resolve the issue.Now here he promised me that technician will be at my place by tomorrow(29/11/2010, 7PM). Let's see what is going to happen? Here i have a question to the DishTv are they No.1 or this is just a frame they are following.Even i said that TATA Sky is very good one. I have a TATA Sky connection in my home and it is working far far better than this worst DishTv.I didn't face anyissue for the TATA Sky.

                                I initiated a complaint regarding no signal on 22/1110 and I was told that their respective technician will come to your home to realign the dish. All efforts to recall the technician went in vain as the service agents is not available on the phone line and not responding. Aggrieved by the response of the service agent I initiated a complaint with the Service Provider, but there too their agents do not respond to the Phone calls, putting the phone line on hold. At one instance I had to hold for 30 minutes but still I could not register my grievances.

                                  I boked new dish tv connection online on 11th nov 10. It is a prepaid connection & I have paid Rs. 690/- for the same. My booking reference no. is HO-11/11/10CRL-25224. I have given prefered installation date 21/11/10. There std days required for connection is 3 to 5 working days. Till date I have not got my new connection. I checked with customer care on 21,22nd Nov 10. They promissed me to connect it within 24 hours. I have communicated the same problem through mail to customer care, the same is pasted below.
                                  I requested them to refund my payment so I can opt another option, but there is no any reply from them. They are sending the same auto generated reply. Pl. help me to get my money back at the earliest.

                                      I have been distv customer since five years my V.C. No. [protected]. first and second year your service was good later I have not satisfied by your . service. At the time of purchase I had given my mobile No. [protected]. first and second year I got regular SMS after two years I have not recieved any massage for due date of renewal. Service point also initially first and second year quality of pitcture was good later rainy day I was not connected allowed channalls. Every time TV has display signal was not found contact customer care centre. When I call customer care centre some time it engage tone and some time it connected but the massage is our representative are busy please hold the line after holding half an hour automatically line disconnects. Your customer care centre call is costlier than your package charge. So there is no use maintaining customer care centre.
