This is my Third mail through consumer complaint.
I have installed DISH TV connection at my home at Kalyankunj, Vadodara.
As my new (Original) setup box was not working (tuner problem), our local distributor replace it with old one until my new is working i.e. before 4 months. (07.08.2009, date of new setup box given to the distributor for repairing).

Now, I got back SETUP BOX purchased by me. But it is not...

I live in Chennai. My dish VC [protected]. My payment fell due on 8 January. I paid on 4 by cheque and it was encashed on 6. Even after paying on time, the service was deactivated on 11. and still remains deactivated. Even after paying on time is this your kind of service. I think I made a bad buy....

My Subscribtion is calid till 17th January 2010, but since the date i had got the setup box, i have not seen any channels, am following them from so long, bu they are unable to help


No live chat system unlike dish network for US, No technical support...

I am having a dishtv connection having vc no [protected]. I had a gold card recharge with cnbc ala carte package which was valid upto 29.10.09. Since during my last recharge dishtv deducted a sum of rs 20/ as fine, I thought that I should recharge my account before the expiry ie 29.10.09. One mr Sushil was on the phone line. I recharged my Dish TV with Recgharge coupon of Rs Rs 700/- on 12 Nov 2009 & my Dish TV was recharged upto 10th Jan 2010.
But from 30th Dec 2009 you are sending messages that the Dish Tv Validity expires on 31st Dec 09.
I request you to look into this matter and reply to me with details the reason for changing my renual date from 10th Jan...

Dish TV is yet another organisation, which probably has had an unplanned expansion and is not able to meet the consumers' service needs.
My set top box was not working. When I asked for repair, the Customer Care Exec asked for time at which I would be preseent at home. She said that their working hours are upto 8pm.I asked the mechanic to come after 6.30pm, which was noted.

I have made a payment of Rs 2040/- till Janaury 2010 but for the past one week we are not able to view any Kannada channels in Udaya Network plus Suvarna & kasturi channels.

Every call which were attended by so called customer care just assures the best of the service but regret no positive result as yet.

This is to inform you we have never seen such a worst customer care in the world.

i have dish tv connection (parent child ) with independent ID nos. For parent units it is [protected] & for child unit [protected]. while recharging with pletinum pack of Rs. 700/- I am getting Dish tv only for a months in a parent units. This is second time i have faced this problem. It is also to say that i am not atall interested to continue with child unit. As both having separate ID nos. Then why it is so.
