This is for your kind inforation that I bought DISH TV on dated.31/10/2009 from SAI SERVICES(ASP)
7B/2 TS Krishna Mandir Road,Near Akash Hospital,Khirki Extn.Malviya Nagar New delhi-110017.But till
date the DISH TV is not operating my DISH TV.After talking to their customer services they are not responding properly.Please take a necessary action and do needful.

    WE HAVE DISH TV CONNECTION ON THE NAME OF RABINDRA NATH SWAIN ONE OF OUR FAMILY MEMBER. WE ARE A NORMAR SILVER (ORIYA ) CUSTOMER. NORMALLY RS 125/- IS RECHARGE AMOUNT FOR A MONTH.

    WE HAVE RENEWED RS 300/- ON 09 JUL 09(WHICH RECEIVED BY DISH TV ON 10 JUL 09)
    THRE IS A OFFER FOR 20 % FREE A LA CARTE ON RECHARGE OF RS 300 AND RS 500 FOR SILVER PACKERS
    I HAVE APPROCHED CUSTOMER CARE FOR ACTIVATION OF FREE A LA CARTE. KNOWINGLY DISHTV ACTIVATED PAID A LA CARET AS A RESULT MY NEXT RENEW DATE BECOMES 18 AUG 09 INSTEATE OF >70 DAYS.
    AFTER REPEATED COMPLAIN MY VC IS DEACTIVATED ON 20 AUG 09
    AFTER VERBAL COMPLAIN I HAVE RAISED A COMPLAIN ON 31 AUG TO DE ACTIVATE ALL PAID A LA CARTE.
    AGAIN RS 125 PAID ON 01 SEP 09 MY NEXT RENEW DAY GIVEN 15 AUG 09 INSTEAD OF 30 SEP 09. AND DE ACTIVATE MY VC ON 18 AUG 09.     Dish TV — Wrong renewal

    Sir, I bought Dish Tv from Andheri West dealer of Dish Tv name"Noor electronics" in the month of 18th Sep, 08 on the bill(written by Dealer) i was assured that it is all channel free for one yearie.till 18the sep, 09 and along with that Rs.4000/- free movies on deman free which is also not sued to fullest.But for lastone month for one or other way they are discontinuing my services to extract money from me.First they discontinue colours in the month of jan, 09 when i went to dealer shop he informed that the colours is not included in my package as u will have to pay rs.15/- on payment he through cad assured me that the channel is on the air but when i could not view inspite of my payment i rushed to dealer now he says Rs.17/- pper month with tax and u have to pay for the package end date ie.sep, 09 so i paid it through cheque Rs91/- balance fo rthe said period.

    Now i would like to bring to your notice that they keep monitoring which serials we are watching on regular basis and they creat problem for the same and last month aastha channel was discontinued and i lost the view for all channels after (i had written mails to them) on repairing they assured me that the lost days will be adjusted for ending perion and they replied to me through email that my renewal date is 29/9/09

    I request and called there call no but no one is coming on line.

    I hunted and my dealer also not co-operative i contacted onther dealer and they informed my after checking from they system the vc no [protected] is existing in the name of dadabhai in thara gujarat.
    i asked dish tv to confirm the party name which till date not confirmed.

    For last one month i am receiving the sms for renewal payment, when i informed to office throgh email they said please ignore ur renewal date is 29/9/09 confirmed and now they have discontinue my all channels .

    I can produce all the evidence for my truthful ness.

      Dear Sir/Madam

      I am a subscriber of Dish tv and was availaing of the platinum package. when my subscription lapsed on renewal i decided to go for the titanium package and made paymetn for the annual subscription on which a la carte is free upto value of INR 798 which I have to send an SMS for activation. I can now view all the channels as per the titanium scheme but my sms sent for activating the free a la carte for TV5 monde was not done. When the meeter has been taken up with the company they have informed that since i have upgraded this is not applicable. That too they took 2 weeks to actully give me this response after several follow up calls (which take atleast 20 to 30 min to get connected to CSE) and several letters. Also after perisitent follow up from my side they have started coming up with different excuses on mail.

      I am dissapointed as I feel that this is baltant unashamed duping of customers.

      Please refer to the trail mail below to some of the exchanges which I have copied which shows how they have been giving me some or the other excuse and refusing to provide me the channel viewership.

      Request you to kindly help me with justice.

      Under the same package of Titnanium, which i have paid for, a la carte free offer being provided under which i had requested for the same. Iunderstand the value of free a la carte was 789 approx .. in any case 22 days have lapsed so you can provide me for 10.5 months the free pack which amounts to INR 772... which will then expire in aug 2010... Which is ok with me.


      Request you to end this matter with activation of the account for 10.5 months else a decline the activation. I shall be pleased to take up this matter with the consumer forum.

      Is it that you cannot understand simple english ? You guys have never mentioned anything about upgrades and the differences in benefites thereof.... And if that is the case how come I am getting the UTV, Bindas and colors channels which are available with the titanium package...If these benefits of titnaium package is available and the free movies of the value of 3192 why is a la carte package not available with the same.

      If you cant provide me with the a la carte the n I would like to avail the refund as I do not wish to contiunue with you guys since you guys are not honouring the commitments made.

        Hello,

        I wish to file a complaint against DISHTV DTH Service. On 7th of Nov 2009, After getting the advice from DISHTV customer care i recharged my DISH TV package for Rs.740. The advice given my the representative was that i had to resharge for Rs.740 to avail the offer of ZRZR wherein Rs.40 would be deducted for downgrading charges from Platinum package to silver package. And the rest Rs.700 would go into my account and he would activate ZRZR scheme on my account . He asked me to call the customer care after recharging. I called the cutomer care after recharging and requested to downgrade my package to Silver and make me avail the benefit of ZRZR offer. But the issue raised by a representative called Vijay was that he would be able to downgrade my package to silver but he cannot activate ZRZR offer on my account. He said i can either opt for ZRZR or downgrade my package. Whereas the 1st person who spoke to me never said this and asked me to just recharge my current pack and never mentioned about selecting Silver pack while recharging. Vijay the 2nd rep i spoke to, gave me a 2nd advice to again recharge for Rs.250 and select siver package while recharging so that i would be able to avail both ZRZR and downgrading the package. He said after recharging for Rs.250 the 2nd time i would be able to avail ZRZR offer for the whole Rs.990 less Rs.40 for downgrading charges. After questioning he answered that yes this Rs.250 is just for selecting my package to SIlver. Now when i called the customer care the 3rd time after recharge for Rs.250. They come up with a 3rd reason that i would be able to avail ZRZR offer only for the 2nd recharge for Rs.250 and not for the 1st recharge of RS.740. Whereas i was said that i would be able to avail the offer for Rs.950. I have spent my time, money but what i got is waste of time waste of money and recharging my account twice but still not able to avail the offer.

            Till date I haven't received any renewal information in TV screen nor the same is available in mobile . Your cadabarous & bogus Customer care information is totaly useless ( only playing damm
            commercials )It is a very sad picture from ur side i.e DISHTV who claimed to be no. 1 in all respect. pls update payment status, next renewal date immediately.


            some Channels like Star ananda, 24 Ghanta, Akash Bangla and many more are not coming in, a small square error message is flushed out with helpline no.[protected] in those channels . Pls look into this matter and inform me at the earliest otherwise necessary steps will be taken. For ur information I have purchased a new dish two months ago from Global Link office, Kolkata.

            Why I AM NOT ABLE TO VIEW CHANNELS UNDER PLATINUM SCHEME AFTER TIMELY PAYMENT ?

            Dish TV India — Urgent: Very disappointed with DISH TV service

            Urgent: Very disappointed with DISH TV service

            I hope this message lands up with someone who can take action and ownership of our case. Our set top box stopped working in October 2008. We filed a complaint with DISH TV customer service. A representative showed up at our house and took the settop box for repair on Nov 26.

            The person was from Harinidhi Enterprises in Bangalore. It has been over a month now and we have not yet received our settop box. We have filed several complaints since then but no outcome. We are told that Harinidhi Enterprises has shut down its operations.

            Whenever we callup your customer care number, they go through our case, take down our information and tell us that a senior will call. Here is a list of our grievances with the whole process:

            • Till date we have made several complaints but no one has been able to actually solve the problem (complaint numbers: 18544476, 18254728,[protected]
            • On two occasions the customer service person has disconnected the call and never bothered to call us back
            • Every time we call, we are told that a senior will call us back
            • One time a "senior" person called and she was in a rush. When I asked her why she was in a rush, she told me she has to make 550 more calls and she hung up
            • Once in a while we get a call from another service company called SV enterprises and when they ask us our STB number, then they tell us that they do not have the set top box

            As you can imagine I am disgusted with the whole experience. I feel your procedures are not incentivised to resolve the problems but they measure the number of calls answered.

            I hope someone will come back with a solution for us. We also missed watching the new year celebrations because we did not have our TV working.

            Dish Tv customercare is DEAF. It is worst than worst. Their on line payment system is defective. When I tried to make online payment, their site shows transaction error and the money is debited from the bank account immediately. Then I have to send a chain of complaints to customer care and after 4/6 days either I got confirmation or the money is refunded. My recent experience is I made two payments on[protected] and till 9-3-2010 dish tv has neither confirmed the receipt of payment nor the money is refunded to bank.

            If you have blood pressure problem, it is injurious for your life to go for dishtv.

            Customer don’t want to continue with HD SERVICES, he want to convert his HD BOX into SD for that he called to MASROOR SERIVCES but they denied that they don’t have this facility and customer need to purchase new connection. Customer is too irate that as we have exchange facility then why we are not providing him. Customer wants to get his STB swapped to SD box under exchange offer.             I had bought a new FULL HD connection (VC no 01517787XXX) on 5th Jan'13 and already have normal connection (VC no 01505510XXX) and requested for multi connection which have been verified on 13th Jan'13.

            As per our earlier communication, i had requested for address verification regarding multi connection. After my request one person named Rajesh had come at my address for verification on 13th Jan'13 from Masoor Services, Munirika Dish TV Franchise. Person verified both the connection after that I paid him 100rs and he has given me receipt no 24959. He had confirmed me that within 24 hours multi connection would get activated.

            Now today I checked with Dish TV customer care they said my connection has not been converted into multi connection. When I asked WHY? Person said request is closed in system but there is NO COMMENT. I was completely surprised as I had paid for this a week ago and service man had confirmed me about that I did not think need to re-confirm from Customer care again that time. Now after my complain they have considered my request after wasting lots of time in asking Franchise name, Receipt number etc...almost harassed.

            Now I wanted to know how would you adjust the amount which have been deducted from my dishtv account as both the connection treated as individual account for last one week despite I had paid for that on 13th Jan. Could you please confirm me that shall be taken care and adjusted in my Dish TV account?

                Dear Editor,

                On 30th Oct 09, my son paid Rs. 3,900/- for recharging my Dish TV account VC# [protected]. Since then I am getting an error message “Recharge your Dish TV account to avail services”.

                The complain numbers are: 30346636, 30376097 and 30409493. Nothing has been done yet. On Sunday, after lots of cajoling, the technical support team called me up but did nothing and told me to keep the TV on for 2 hours which I did and nothing happened after that also.

                I am a retired employee of CESC and my son (Supratim Bose) is working with a KPO in Kolkata and he has a shift from 11 in the morning and returns home at 2 in the morning which makes it difficult for him to stay at home and comply to whatever they are saying. However, on the very first day my son asked one of the helpdesk persons to send me a technician so that the problem can be identified and rectified. Nobody bothered to listen to him and today 3rd Nov 09 when my son called them after returning from office at 4 in the morning, a helpdesk person called Harish was very rude with him and said that I have to pay for the charges of the technician who is going to visit my place to rectify the error. When he told him that he was not going to pay for any charges, and told him that he has no other option than to move to consumer court, the helpdesk person said that we can do whatever we want to do but we have to pay.

                Now this is what Dish TV Customer Service is all about and I am very frustrated with the service.

                I would request you to publish this in your column and let the audience know my displeasure of being a customer of so called “Wish Karo Dish Karo” DTH Service.

                I hope someone will please take it up forward and help me in this hour of need and crisis that I am facing.

                Dish TV — Harrasment

                I am one of the subscriber of DishTV and recharged my Dish TV account on the month of September As the recharge free offer is going on,The dealer(kohli electronics, jagadhri,haryana) told me that recharge free offer is closed. Then i called on customer care, they told me that recharge free coupons are available in market but if you are not able to get these coupons you just easy recharge your account by Rs. 1800-00 and you will get the benefits of recharge free scheme. I gave Rs.1800-00 to the dealer and told him about my requirement, he replied that he will be not responsible if you not get the scheme. then i again made contact with customer care and they again assured me that you will be able to avail the benefits of recharge free scheme if i easy recharge my account with this amount. Then i asked dealer to recharge my account by Rs. 1800-00. When my account is recharged i called customer care to get 2 a-la-carte packages.
                I requested for UTV movies and colors that time. The person told me that he has forwarded request to activate these packages( request no.[protected] and i have to wait for 2-3 hrs. But after 24hrs. these packages are not activated so i again called on customer care and asked the person about my request. He told me that you have recharged your account with simple way so you will not get the benefits of recharge free schemes. he also told me that if you want to get recharge free scheme you have to recharge by other way like by product code.I had also made complaint against dealer on customer care[protected]. SO I WANT TO COMPLAIN THAT NEITHER THE CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE NOR THE DEALER HAS TOLD ME TO RECHARGE MY ACCOUNT BY THE RIGHT WAY AT THE TIME OF RECHARGE WHEN I CONTACTED THEM EARLIER.

                It is a case o[censored]ncomplete information and misguidline by dealer and customer care. I want to avail my benefits or my recharge amount back.
                I have been mently and physically harrased.

                        I Mr.Yeddu.AnilKumar having Dish TV. VC No: [protected], Registered Mobile No : [protected]. We are unable to see channels. The only message Iam getting is &quot; To get correct version software contact Dish tv service center &quot; . regarding this I had already put a complaint at DISH TV customer care. My complaint No :[protected]. This Problem is not only mine, many subscribers are suffering with this problem, because DISH TV upgraded software which is not suitable( compatible) to our hardware ( SET TOP BOX). DISH TV people created this problem so they have to solve this problem for this why should we have to pay Rs. 400/- ( service charges asked by DISH TV authorised service center people )to upgrade or to change this set top box?. even Iam not willing to pay any more. but i want the solution for problem and we are not ready to pay charges for this because our set top boxes are not faulty. they are perfectly all right.

                        DISH TV cheating their customers like this, many people are coming to DISH TV service center with this problem. they changed the software which is not compatible with the consumers Set top boxes, and demanding charges to rectify this problem.so that they can earn some crores of rupees additionally

                          this is B.S.RAMULU.I want to just say you that i had purchased dishtv last year.and with that pack we had given all the channels for one year.so now the problem is that frm two months iam recharging with the silver pack but i am getting all the channels but the problem is that it is not valid for one month. recently on 27th oct i had recharged with silver card of rs-125 so i request you to kindly activate the silver card plan so that i will be thankfull to you.

                              On 22 Oct 2009 evening, my Dish TV set top box suddenly began displaying the following message on my TV screen which was somewhat like this - "UPGRADE IN PROGRESS DO NOT SWITCH OFF"

                              I called up the call center and registered a complaint[protected]. The call center employee informed me that a technician will need to visit my place and upgrade the set top box manually. To my surprise he added that I will be charged for software upgrade!!!

                              Charges - Rs 170 as a visiting fee of the technician and software upgrade cost Rs. 250 (I am not sure of exact amount but the figures are some what like this). I FIND THIS VERY UNETHICAL - I AM BEING FORCED TO PAY FOR A SOFTWARE UPGRADE WHICH I HAVE NOT ASKED FOR.

                              I verified with the customer support personnel that I am not alone sufferer but there are many other such frustrated Dish TV consumers like me.

                              More over there is no such mention in the consumer User Guide accompanied with the Dish TV installation. Also, I was never informed at the time of subscription that I will be charged for a software upgrade during my subscription period.

                              As against this I have inquired with my friends who have Tata Sky. Their set top boxes were upgraded free of charge and automatically without any manual intervention.

                              On 23 Oct 2009 the Dish TV technician called me up. When I argued as to why I should pay for software upgrade he had no answer. His supervisor was even ruder and least bothered about my woes. "Karna hai to karo nahi to baitho without television" his attitude reflected.

                              And to add injury to insult they have closed my complaint[protected] without my consent and without providing me any service. Now for 4 consecutive nights there is no television in my house – even though I have paid for platinum package full year subscription.

                                  I'm having the Dish Tv DTH services since 2008.

                                  I have recharge my account for one year i.e. upto July 2011 under the Titanium Package.
                                  Sir, my set top box work properly but on 08.12.2011 Dish Tv send the some Software up-dation massage since from my Set Top Box (STB) showing ERROR massage. Then I call to Dish Tv' Customer Services on 09.12.2010 and launch my complaint vide No.[protected]Mr. Nitin attended me) on 10.12.2010 at 2.30pm i got call from Dish Tv regarding my problem. I brief him and he take my STB for repair, but after Half and hour he call me this STB was not repairable and this STB was out of warranty . Then I ask him for the alternative he & what about my balance period. Then he told Rs. 350 + tax to be extra charges then they issue the NEW STB. I agreed to pay, but he don't have any STB. Then he suggest me to I go to the any dealers of Dish Tv at Bhuntar. I'm approach to M/s. Tarun Enterprises, Bhutar, they also try but they could not solve my problem. then I'm again call to Dish Tv ask them what action they taken but they not give the proper reply.
                                  Since 09.12.2010 I'm help less from all side of Dish Tv.

                                    we get messege appear on the screen that is- chek your setup box day by day
                                    If you are facing any problem in Signal then just check your alignment or Just switch off your STB from main switch and then on again and rescan and then check. Still if you are facing the same problem then Just Mail to Dishtv customer care for quick resolution of your complaints along with your complete details like VC No, address and contact number.

                                    Yes, I pretty much agree with the pathetic services provided by Dish TV.
                                    The frequency of problem in Signal is very high and when you try to call on Customer care (West) the number is always busy. ( last timeI i tried for 30 times within 12 hrs but it said number busy)...

                                    Would suggest to the prospective customers think 1 MM times before going with DishTV.
                                    I think, govt should also start Portability of Services for TV satellites.. same as we have in Mobile (Mobile Number Portability)
                                    My Name is Syam Kumar &amp;amp; I am a subscriber of Dish TV since 21 Feb 2013. from the begining itself I am facing 301 SIGNAL NOT FOUND error. don&#039;t even remember now, how many times I have complained regarding the same issue &amp;amp; for the same every single day even in clear Climate also am unable to watch TV all the time due such a way that the Signals are never constant.

                                    Today at 21:30 I had called you customer care representative Mr. Vivek who is not all listening anything and not try to understand the complaint. Hence I did not get any positive response form him.

                                    I keep losing money on every call to your customer care, Let me know if this issue can be rectified you or I will switch to another provider.

                                    Anything special to write about worst experience with DIshTV. It is clear from previous message. As soon as recharged with 6 months scheme which include free months, u guys devised a plan to charge free months by doing some hidden methods. BTW RMN 9891981779 & VC 01523100457.

                                    Dear DishTV subscribers,

                                    I really should say you all that I was a proud customer for DishTV. The first 10 months the service was awesome, later when the warranty expired I saw too many issues (VC failure, signal strength loss, Singnal not found, etc). 301 error comes up even if the weather is completely well, also it does not turn up until the STB is restarted manually.
                                    With all this pain and too many complaints logging, I once threw my DishTV STB from 3rd floor and smiled for letting my frustration go. Now I own TataSky HD, its been 4 years and I haven't see any issues at all.

                                    Request you all to choose TataSky, you will admire the service.
