Sub: A complete disregard to consumer service orientation…

Dear Sir,
I am very pained to mention the agony faced because of casual approach taken by you in addressing my problem. I am giving below the sequence of event for your understanding:
• On 4th April I started facing problem in viewing your programme (picture / sound disappeared with a message of “No Signal”). The fault gets corrected once I switch OFF & ON the STB.
• But it became a frequent issue when I decided to lodge a complaint on 7th April with the call centre.
• An Engg. visited on 8th April and after checking the problem, informed about problems with STB. He took the STB with him and told us that the approx. expense to fix the problem would be around Rs. 350-400 only. The name of the Engg. is Sarvesh Pandey (Cel No. [protected]) from a dealer in Laxmi Nagar, Vikas Marg.
• The nightmare actually started after this as inspite of regular calls, I was not told the fate of my STB. I was given a number of Mr. Kailash (Cel No. [protected]) who is supposedly the owner of the dealership.
• As calls to them yielded no results, I logged a complaint (No. 23881132 with Vivek at 10.30 PM) again on 18th April about no response from the dealer & non-return of the STB.
• In response to this complaint, the STB was returned to my house on 20th April with an estimate of approx. 1600/- as cost of repair. As I was not present at house, when the STB was returned to me, I checked the STB once I was back.
• To my surprise, the STB was totally “Dead” as there was no power supply also.
• I called up and checked with the dealer, who said that I need to agree to pay a sum of Rs. 1600 (approx.) as repair charges of the STB. It is important to note that you are offering a complete new hardware at approx. Rs. 1500/- now.
• The dealer was not willing to talk anything beyond that.
• On 21st April I again I again logged a complaint (No. 24028532 with Ritesh at 11.45 PM) higher estimates (overcharging), in-ordinate delay in redressal, and waiver of rental for all days when I am unable to view the channels. I was told that somebody from Tech. services will resolve the issue, but nobody called.
• After that I kept on talking to your customer care and narrating the story from scratch without any solution:
o 23rd April: at 5.40 PM (Rajan): Phone got disconnected after a long wait
o 24th April: 11.25 AM (Nitin): complaint no. 24201591
o 25th April: 9.40 AM: complaint no. 24244002
o 26th April: 8.00 PM: complaint no.[protected]given the same old no.)
o 27th April: 1.15 PM (Gaurav): Line got disconnect after I narrated the story.
The most astonishing part is that at each call, I was told that the grievance is showing as resolved in their record. In fact I got two SMS also today afternoon saying “your dishtv complaint no. 24201591 is resolved. We hope you are satisfied with the resolution. In case of any concern, call on [protected] with your complaint no.”
I do not know what type of complaint redressal system you have!!! I would also put on record that during last summer, I experienced a similar type of issue when after chasing everybody in the system and visiting to you Noida office twice, finally I had to take the STB to your Lawrence Road office and pay approx. Rs. 1500 to get the STB repaired. I was given a different STB as replacement that time. After one year I am again asked to pay Rs. 1600 for the repairs.
Now I would like to request:
• Get the STB repaired asap
• Provide waiver on rentals for the days (from 4th April till the date of re-installation of STB
• Do not charge penalty for re-connection as my connection is due for payment now
• Take up the matter with your dealer (for the sake of your own business interest, as it is said that retention of old customer is 5 times cheaper than getting a new customer)
It is also important to mention that I am your customer for last 4+ years and the STB & VC Card is given to me against refundable security. Please let me know the procedure of refund also so that I can get rid of all these problems time and again (In case the present problem is not resolved).

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    I worked 1year and 6 months in ASC Enterprises Ltd, Film City, Noida and left in 2007. ASC Enterprises Ltd was later changed to Dishtv India Ltd.

    I applied for filled PF withdrawl form 18 and form 10c with SSN form but no response from Dishtv India Ltd. In 2008 a filled the same form and sent to HR - Manager Dishtv India Ltd, Noida but again no response.

    Kindly suggest what to do? I dont have PF no. also. Where should unclaimed PF amount go ?

      I had taken a Dish tv connection for a year for Rs3990/- as per their platinum package on 05-06-08 along with free movies worth Rs.3990/-for a year.On 27 th April I was informed by Dish Tv through SMS that my subscription has expired on 27th April.I contacted their customer care and was told that since I have seen paid movies therefore my annual period has been reduced to 27th APRIL which was in fact to be from the amount of Free Paid Movies.Futher it was not done with my consent and moreover I was not informed earlier.In addition to this I paid Rs.200/- on 28th April through credit card for recharge for SILVER PACK with CNBC PACK. foor more than amonth Instead of recharge of Silver Pack they have Recharged it for my platinum which is only valid upto 16-05-09.I have send them number of e-mails & contacted them on phone but they are not lisening to me and saying that they can not convert my package to silver pack before 5th June being valid upto that date.Futher they will also charge Rs.40/- for degradation of package whereas there are no charges for upgradation.of package.My complaints are as under.
      1.They have no right to reduce my annual period from 5th june to 27 th April.
      2. They should have deducted amount from my paid movies amount and in case this was not possible they should not shown me movies with my consent.
      3.They have no right to force me to be in platinum package upto 5th june especially when they have reduced my period to 27th April.
      4.They are also not giving me benefit of Present free voucher scheme as I got recharge through credit card via www.rechageitnow.com as per their SMS whichis not justified.
      5.There should no degradation charges of Rs.40/- especially in view of no charges for upgradation.

      I am the dish tv regular custmer my i pay the payment 612 date of 19.05.09 my nest reneval date is 17.09.2009 but my dish tv no sportted please chaqe the my dish tv problem coll me my new mobi no is [protected] -my V C No-[protected]
      i had recharged my account with Rs-700 in platinum pack.but some channels like v, star movies, zoom, cnbc are not viewed to me.my vc no is [protected].kindly subscribe these channels.
      we are a middle class family.sometime we got fail to pay.that's why, we pay later.but we have a complaint to u that is, on the date 09/10/09 we have recharched by 125/- pack; but it has been appearing on MY ACCOUNT box the next rechargeable date 20/10/09, IS IT RIGHT? OUR VC NO. IS [protected] & 125/- PACK'S TRANSACTION NO IS[protected]. PLEASE GIVE US THE ANSWER.

        Sir, I bought a dish tv on 23/4/09. On 1/5/09 morning all channels lost. I contacted with the customer care and they activate the channels. I payed Rs.2290 for connection. I dont know what is my package. Now, when trying to ala-cart code 625, i got a message that you are subscribed already these channels. My vc no. is [protected]. Kindly check my package. If my package is not south silver, kindly activate discovery, nat geo, animal planet & history.

          Dear Sir,

          This is in continuation to my earlier complaint of 8th April 2009 with your Forum. After putting complaint in your Forum I received a call from Mr. Girish Chandra of DISH TV on 24.04.2009 at 10.58 Hrs. He enquired about complaints among which was Change of Plan with out seeking my consent from DISH MAXI to DISH PLATINUM, on account of this I was unable to view Star One, CNBC Awaz, CNN-IBM and few other Channels which were a part of DISH MAXI package.

          Mr. Girish assured that my Plan will be reverted back to DISH MAXI and I will be able to view Star One Channel within 15 Minutes to Two Hrs, in between they suspended all the Channels except NDTV and one more. Later on on 24.04.2009 around 17.00 Hrs we were able to view Channels except the above mentioned other Channels. I called to their Customer Care and spoke to Mr. Jitendra at 18.05 Hrs, he said that tune on TV and fix it on Channel # 550 and we will be able to view Star One within 15 Minutes to Two Hrs but there was no airing of the Star One Channel.

          I again called up to Customer Care on 25.04.2009 at 07.05 Hrs and spoke to some Mr. Brahm Prakash (name not sure) to narrate the entire episode wasting my time and got the stereotyped reply to put on the TV at Channel # 999 and I will be able to view within 15 Minutes to Two Hrs. but this time never passed and we were unable to view the Channels. I again called to CC at 09.45 Hrs. with Mr. Suraj with repeatetion of episodes since 24.04.2009 morning and was suggested to put on TV on 999 with same reply as conveyed by his earlier colleagues but even the we were unable to view.

          At 13.10 Hrs., I received a call from Mr. Kishore conveying the same thing to keep TV ON to Channel 550 but with no results again finally we received a call from DISH TV conveying that Star One and other Channels are not covered under DISH MAXI package hence it can not be activated, I will have to pay Rs.31/- extra for above mentioned Channels.

          I requested to CANCEL my subscription with immediate effect and refund the balance amount, I was suggested send an Email to this effect at [protected]@dishtv.in. I sent the mail on 25.04.2009 itself to CANCEL my subscription and refund I got an auto generated mail conveying they will revert back within 24 Hrs.

          To my surprise, after sending the said Email all of a sudden the Channels mentioned were available on Air. It appears DISH TV is misguiding and cheating the customers by not declaring Channels covered under a particular Plan and try to extort money from the customer. Is there any authority in India looking after such matters to safe guard the customer from so called reputed Service Providers. Earlier customer was at the mercy of Cable Operators now the same practice is adopted by such service providers. Every time customer is supposed to call CC centre facing different people and repeat narrating every thing again and again to each and every employee attending the call at CC centre.

          Reply from DISH TV is still awaited even after passing of more than 120 Hours.

          Dish TV — Non-responsive attitude

          My Dish TV V.C. No. [protected] is reporting no signal for last one day- when I tried to lodge complaint on phone nos. given by Dish TV- nobody picked up phone. Now I am clueless how to get to Cutomer Care personnel so as to request them to send immediately a technical person at my residence M-2765, Netaji Nagar so as to rectify the problem of non-receipt of any signal on my Dish TV connection.
          my exp has been terrible with dishtv ...non responsive..arrogant, clueless people, phone lines always busy, do not care for customer attitude..pl do not buy it if you have a choice
          My too receiver number V.C.no.[protected] and another one V.C.no [protected]
          free channal as per rule are not working so you anable to give good service to cutomer. As per cutomer requirment from the dealer of bharuch in gujarat not working properly dealer demand another payment for re-conection of free channal so please as per over cutomer demand to you both receiver payment as per your life long guaranty money back. If you are not able to give answer within one week with your rules and regulation of free channal of life time condition my E-mail add. we will take seriously and we complain this cutomer protection act.of Gvt.of india

          My VC No.[protected] – Forced withdrawal from my SBI Credit Card A/c on 19-11-07 for Rs.3490/- for which I have not given any authoraisation to SBI Card and Your Statement also not shown any reference number for that entry. Refund of excess amount lying in my above VC A/c – reg.

          The above matter brought to your Customer Care vides e-mail Ref No.SRC/[protected] and again reminded on 01-12-07. Your people gave a reference No. 10088607.
          From 23-11-07 to 08-12-07 I called the customer care No.60013474 eight times and each time I used to tell the entire story to them. They politely replied that my money would be refunded immediately. During that period I called twice Mr. Manoj and Mr. Liyakat respectively. But, till date they have not refunded the entire money only Rs.900/- refunded and the balance of Rs.2590/- still lying in my account.

          I again sent an e-mail on 12-12-07, but till date no reply for the same. I have no other recourse but to approach you, for remedial measures. I do not know the reason why they debited Rs.300/- thrice from my account.

          Hope, you will settle the issue and refund the balance amount of Rs.2590/- either to my SBI Card A/c or send the amount by way of cheque/dd to my above address at the earliest in order to avoid penal interest which will be levied by SBI CARD people for the amount.

            I made a request for two new a la carte packs through sms(MOVIE WORLD AND EXPLORER PACK).But they have not activated it yet.they replied through sms that u have subscibed these package and told me to keep the stb on channel NE tv for 2 hours. But still not getting.

              The following is the mail sent to dishtv customer care after talking to them several time on ph after my problem could not be solved after more than 48 hrs and still no response i got after more than 72 hrs over i'm not able to watch any channels.

              I have subscribe a dish tv connection on 25th feb 2009 and it got activated on 4th of march 2009. I was promised that i will be getting a 3 months subscription free with the package, so i suppose to get the free service upto 4th of June. But on 27th-04-09 onward my paid channels are blocked.
              Regarding that i have talked to Malleswaram Bangalore Channel[protected]from where i have taken the connection)But they did not paid any attention to my problem and disconnected my call after make me on hold.
              I have talked to Ms Anjali and Prema regarding it and both cut the incomplete call in the same manner. I have recorded all the telephonic conversation with them. They told they will be giving me a contact num of the customer care and an id wher i can complain. but both of them disconnected the call after keeping me on hold.
              I tried calling Mr. Ravi([protected]) (Channel maneger Malleswaram brunch Bangalore) but one of his mobile num([protected]) given by Prema was out of service and the other he was not picking up after trying serveral time.
              On 28th 04 09 i called your customer care num and informed about the same Issue to Akhilesh but it was not solved instead i can't even watch the free channels now, it says insert smart card.
              On 29th morning again i called up your customer care and talked with Avishek and he could not solve my problem and he arranged a call back with Mr. Adil as his sinior . He Suggested me to mail the same thing to [protected]@dishtv.in and assured me that my problem will be solved with in maximum of a 24 hour. Already 72 hours are passed i'm facing this problem and nothing is done yet.

              Major Issue:

              I was promised by dish tv personal while taking the connection that i can watch .

              Sat max, Z-cinema, Z-action, Z-classic, Star Gold, M-tv, Zoom, NDTV India, 9Xm, Z-news and Starplus and some more paid channels as well as all the free channels.
              And up to next 3 months (From 04-02-09 up to[protected] My subscription will be free.

              Now they are telleing some all-a-cart was activated on my connection, For that i never send any kind of request to dishtv in any kind of media(sms, mail or call)
              I don't know how and who activated those and on whose request.
              I just want dish tv to keep their promise what they made while selling the product.

              I'm not going to pay a single paisa up to 4th of june 2009 and i must be able to see the above mentioned channels up to 04-06-09 as per promise.
              On that condition only i had taken the connection.

              I have all the recorded conversation with the dish tv customer care people and dish tv malleswaram and can produce them on demand.

              If this problem is not solved the soonest possible then i will be compelled to take some ligal action and put a cheating case complain in police .
              And submit a complain on the following link and send this incident and harrasment by your company to all my frends and relatives and co-legues through orkut attaching this article

              Kindly do the needfull to solve it the soonest possible time and maintain a fair relation as well as a fair deal.

              Hi,
              Its been more than 72 hrs i'm facing the problem with dis tv net work and inform about it through phone to dish tv customer care. But still now no masure been taken to solve my problem.
              Its more than 36 hrs that i have inform it through mail to dish tv customer care, but still i have not got even a response back.
              Let me know immediately if the problem can be solved or not or else let me try the ligal way and take the help of media to ensure that this kind of problems can be stoped in future with all other customers and let me disconnect your service.
              still i'm waiting for your response hopping that the problem will be solved and i can watch my reguler programes.
              Now even i can't watch any free channels also as it says insert smart card.
              Distv customer care is acting dumb.

              My V.C.No is [protected]. We have recently shifted our house from Berserai to janakpuri and we asked for reinstalling the Dish Antena from Dish TV company. One technical person came and did and afterthat one channel is not coming properly. Asianet (Channel No: 921). Since it was in guaranty period we cald the Dish TV service and a person came from there and he is telling Set Top Box is spoiled.Some software is spoiled. He is asking Rs. 550 for changing the software. How its possible? If some software is spoiled why only one cahnnel is not coming properly? When we took the connection intially the same problem was there and when we complained someone came from your comapany and made it alright by adjusting the dish. The same problem is repeating and now the software is spoiled. Please take care of our complain otherwise we want to take this issue to the top level. Its in guaranty period then also the person who came to check is asking money for that. And for installing theDish Antena we called the company and they said it is 225 and the person who came to installed charge 350 for the installataion. Please take care care of the customer.

              DishTV — problem not solved by dish tv

              ihave raised a complen no[protected] on 16apr11 against reinstallisation of dishtv.According dishtv agent during 24 hours my problem will slove,but it was not solved.Then i telephoned custmercare to know about my complain on 21apr11,but he answered that their technician called me and i was said him ,i was busy and call him afterwards.But therewas no call was attended from myside. Then i raiseed another complain no[protected] on 21apr11. Then one message come to me "as per appointment, your complaint will be attented on Apr 21 2011 1:00PM by Sarfraj."after some time another message came to my number"your disgtv complain no 57681231 is resolved". But the problem was not solved because no technician come to reinstall the set. Then i raised a complain no 57704724 on the same date. Then one message recived "as per appointment ,your dishtv complain will be attended on 22 Apr 11 10:30AM by Sarfraj". But on 22Apr11 message recived that complain no 57704724 was resolved. But the compalin was not solved.
              penality of Rs10000
              Dish TV work with bunch of a Frauds ! I booked a Dish TV Set online on 21-Apr-11 and the Frauds started from that point:

              1. I immediately got a call from the Online Sales division who told me

              that if I pay online I'll get the set after 3 days, instead, if I pay cash

              on delivery, it'll get installed the next day however, I'll have to pay

              Rs. 1411 instead of Rs 600. When i checked online yesterday, the turn

              around time is the same for both the type of payments

              2. I got the Set Top box installed the next day after I had to call

              various people (dealer, technician, field engineer), but to my surprise

              when no channels were coming even after more than 24 hrs, I checked online

              & called the Call Center to chk the status to find that the VC Number

              [protected] I got is NOT a New Connection, it was alreday sold to someone

              few months back & is currently in Disconnected mode.

              The Registered User name is Kareem who is a dealer is Subhash Nagar,

              Hyderabad. I called this person & he confirms of Not Selling an Dish TV

              Connection in last few days.

              The two technicians who came to install the STB were Vijay: [protected]

              and Sudhakar: [protected]. When tried calling Vijay, his phone is switched

              off.

              I've been calling Dish TV Customer care since last two days & nobody has

              done anything about this.

                Hi,

                I am one of the subscriber of DishTV and recharged my Dish TV account on the month of February. As the recharge free offer is going on, i should get 3 a-la-carte packages and free movie on demand for one year. From which 80% of the amount should be gone towards the movie on demand and rest 20% will go towards a-la-carte packages.

                But at the time of recharge the customer care guy told me that you recharge your account and then inform us so that we can provide the a-la-carte packages within this amount. I recharged and asked the guy to provide me the a-la-carte packages, the guy asked me the options and also told me i can provide my options anytime but within 24hrs. So i requested for UTV movies and colors that time. And after 2-3 hrs i opted for Zoom TV as well but suddenly after 4-5 hrs Colors got disconnected from my service and i asked the customer care to provide the same but the issue didnot got resolved within 24 hrs and then again i informed the same but that time 24hr time limit has gone. Then after some time i have all the 3 a-la carte packages but my balance amount was reduced and as a result my my recharge validity also reduced.

                Again when i asked the customer care, they said colors and UTV package would be charged to you and this is because you didnot requested for all the three packages at one time where as i was informed earlier that i can provide my options in 24 hrs and it was not informed that all should be at one-shot. second, the technical problems are not my fault, for which i got the colors channel after 24hr limit. Third, when i tried explain the whole thing, the customer care executive told me that they have not enough time to listen the story, then why customer care exists?? And the big thing is that they have not recorded anything and told me that they could not find any earlier request of mine in their system, this is weired.

                I need the clear explantaion to all my problems and need to get my money back as it is completely DishTV's fault.

                  I renewed my Dish Tv Package for Rs.700/- for the South Platinum Pack and i was advised by the customer care rep. that i could also get the a-la-carte pack worth Rs140/- so i told him to give me the Star Movies Pack, Times Now and UTV & Bindass Movies Pack. But inspite of waiting for many days i still could not view the Star Movies channel etc., so again i called the Customer Service Rep and to my shock he tells me that because of the mistake committed by the rep., he has given me some other channel. So, as this is a mistake done from your side, I want you to rectify this problem immediately and give me the Channels that i want and not what your customer service rep. wishes!!!
                  So as soon as possible give me the StarMovies Pack, COLOURS channel and Times Now &Zoom pack as part of my a-la-carte.

                  Dish TV is now a big corporate, having clique even in the regulatory bodies, so they hardly bother about we ordinary customers. They are illegaly selling connections to people in Middle East and China even. There is a news of clamp down in Dubai

                    I had recharged my account on 28/02/2009 using “Recharge Free” card No.[protected] PW 8211 & connection was due for renewal on 24/04/2004. As per the scheme, I am entitled to opt “Free A-La-Carte” equivalent to the 20% of the recharge value of the card. As such, I had opted “Free A-La-Carte” pack 205. But to my dismay my account was downgraded on 19/04/2004 itself. I was told that “the card you used was not a “Recharge Free” card and as such the charges of “Free A-La-Carte” pack 205 were deducted from your account & validity reduced accordingly”. All this happened without giving any notice/information to me. Even after down grading the connection, the next renewal date continued to be shown on the TV MY space as 24/04/2009. Again on 21/04/2009 I recharged my account using “Recharge Free” card No.[protected] PW 8123 & given ref no.[protected] & the connection is due for renewal on 15/06/2004. I had sent repeated messages to opt “Free A-La-Carte” pack 205 & 111 but the messages are being replied as “you don’t have enough balance in your dish tv account to subscribe for this channel.                     Dish TV Subscription Services — Customer Service

                    What would you call the quality of services of Dish TV? BAD, Rank BAD, Pathetic and more

                    A complaint (no[protected] lodged on the Dish TV all India toll free number on 5th July 2009 has not been resolved till 12th July 2009. Its been 8 days only and that would be acceptable by the Dish TV customer downtime standards (or rather that is the impression i get). Interestingly the complaint was closed and a resolved status flagged off. This was intimated to me by SMS on 6th July 2009, stating that Dish TV "hoped that they were satisfied with resolution". All this even while not a single customer service engineer visited my premises.

                    Interestingly enough, there are about 10 all India numbers that Dish TV has provided for taking customer calls.That is another experience in itself, where you are thanked for calling Dish TV and you need to confirm whether it is Dish TV really that you wanted to call in the forst place. There after.. your choice of language and membership status is ascertained and then you are asked to be "be online, while some one will shortly attend you"... 14 attempts later, each lasting about 3 minutes waiting... i felt obiliged to disconnect. Customer service, Waiting times and Delivery processes?

                    Dish TV: You may have clocked 25 lakh users, but you cant manage one well... Its time to change ( Your incorrigicle standards and my dish connection)

                      Dear Sir/Madam,

                      Dish TV removed several channels from my Package even though at the time of purhase of the package those channels were part of this package ( Maxi package). I have paid for the full year subscription in full to dish TV and paid for the channels removed already until my on year subscription expires.

                      The names of some of the channels removed are CNBC, CNBC Awaj etc

                      Please look into this and help me get the channels activated for my account or please have them refund my money for the channels not provided.

                      CNBC channels are available on ala-carte basis its not their in base packs and their fore these channels were not their in your maxi pack.

                        My experience with customer care cell of Dish TV India has been pathetic.

                        I've been away from my home for past 2 weeks. Duing this period the services of Dish TV were not used.                             Dear Friend may i know which package you have, as you said you have full recharge package that means you have Platinum pack. So if you have Platinum pack then the channels you have mentuioned here were not available in your pack as all these channels are available in ala-carte packs and not a part of basic platinum pack.

                            Like, Star One, Tood Disney, disney and Hungama are available in ala-carte pack. of Rs.35+ tax.
                            UTV Movies and Bindass Movies are available in separate ala-carte pack of Rs.25+ tax.
                            Similar Times now, zoom TV5 Monde, CNBC channels these are also available in separate ala-carte packs.

                            But Zee news, Zee 24 ghanta Chattisgarh and Star utsav is available in all the packs in dishtv.

                            and Zee next channels is not available in dishtv platform as this channel has been closed down few days back.

                            We have rechagre TV 5 MOnde last 2 times but customer care is says that we cannot recharge TV 5 Monde through oxygen card, but this is to inform you i have purchase 12 July 2009 oxygen card for TV 5 Monde Recharge but customer care / she said that we have recieved only online payment for TV 5 Monde. But i have today rechage TV 5 Monde through oxygen card but customer care / he said that we cannot rechage TV 5 Monde through oxygen card .
                            So Please look into the matter and take action please.

                              I have taken a dish tv connection in the month of January 09. The connection no is [protected].

                              My problem is that we have taken the Platinum package which is the highest category as per the website in order to avail most of the channels. We have observed that each month starting from February two channels are removed from the package.

                              The channels removed were as foll:

                              Feb: UTV movies & Bindas
                              March: CNN IBN
                              April: Zoom and Times Now.
                              Also all these channels were removed without any notification to us.

                              All these channels were earlier stated to be a part of the platinum package. When we contacted the customer service ( whom we were able to reach with great difficulty) we were told that Dish tv at their wish and will can remove or add any channel at any point in time. Well we have not seen any channels being added.

                              When we are subscribing to a package and paying for the channels for the same then what right does the channels have to remove the promised channels. This way at the end of it we will hardly have some two or three channels.
                              Also my reason for taking the platinum package was to avail all channels and have peace of mind. This deduction of channels every second day is a big headache and mind you we dont have so much of time to waste on renewing channels every day.

                              Also when I have payed given the fact that I will be given these many channels then I dont see that Dish tv has any right to deduct channels as per their whims and fancies.

                              Another issue that we face is that with your customer care. We dont get connected for along time and when we do the executives hang up the phone in between the conversation to avoid answering queries. Also they are extremely rude. I dont think that in today's competitive world one can afford to provide such a pathetic service.

                              I agree that the channels you have mentioned were removed from the base platinim pack and made them available on ala-carte packs.

                              But as you said their is no notification for this to us. That wrong... Dishtv has already made this annoucement of removing channels from base pack and for that they have run a scroll on those channels some 30 days or so. Even the new channels like Bindass movies and UTV movies are available for preview for 30 days only after that its paid channels.

                              About customer service till now i haven't face any major problem in dishtv and my experience with customer service is very satisfactory.
                              for the last one day few channels are not displaying, inspite-of that I had taken the platinum pack. kindly do the needful.

                                I have lodged a complain with your ahmedabad service provider, he has promissed to sent his tecnition on 14th but no one has turned up yet, when i phoned them they said they will send some bady, we stayed home for last two days and the ahmedabad office is going to advice us why the tecnitian have'nt turned up,
                                Now if you do not help me quickly u can say goodbye to your customer n we'll switch n to TATA SKY

                                  This is with reference to my recent recharge of my account on 8th April 2009. The recharge which infact was due after 17/4/2009 was implemented immediately w.e.f. 8/4/2009.
                                  Following are some the rewards I get for this recharge so as to save hassles due to late recharge as I would have not been at station during that time
                                  1. My current service was discontinued w.e.f 8/4/2009 to 9/4/2009 (evening), reasons best know to your efficient system
                                  2. The channels like Star One and Times Now are off air and one of the learned fellows told me that I have to pay 60+taxes to view these along with some of the junk channels. Hats of to Dish TV and ShahRukh Khan!!! Good way to pay King Khan by cutting pockets of Customers unknowingly.
                                  3. Another jolt was given by the learned/taught parrot to whom I was talking that I would be getting only Rs. 140 Ala Carte and 560 for MOD as I have paid five less than Rs. 1800/-, where as all your ads tell that it is 20% and 80% of the recharge value.

                                  My first question is that why my earlier subscription was not allowed to be continued till 17th April thus taking away the chance to see Star one and Times Now for the period.
                                  Second query is that if you have fixed a limit of Rs. 1800/- than as per your record of the day my account was credited with Rs.1892 on 8/4/2009. Am I not entitled for 20% of the same?
                                  I am waiting for a satisfactory and corrective solution for the same along with a continuous coverage of Star One and Times Now.

                                    Dish TV Does not offer the same No. of Channels which the subscriber can view on the Parent Set Top Box if he goes for an additional Child Set Top Box.The Company charges 50% of the charges for the child set top box and also does not provide the same No. of channels.If one were to view the same channels then the total subscription charges exceeds the Parent Set Top Box.
                                    I strongly feel that TRAI should Intervene and ask DTH Operators to allow the subscribers to watch the same No. of channels without any cost or a nominal cost of not exceeding Rs.100 per month for the child set top box.

No.[protected] and have been regularly recharging the Dish Freedom package (Regional - Oriya Bouquet) from time to time. On remittance of the recharge payment, I have received an SMS from dishtv having received the payment on[protected] vide transaction No.26090463. But, inspite of having received the payment, the entire transmission has been suspended and abruptly stopped today[protected] since morning and not restored so far till evening causing huge inconvenience and frustration as well as regret on account of having chosen dishtv. However, I would request dishtv should do the needful to restore transmission immediately and to inform the action taken to me.

                                      the same problem i am also facing since Nov 2013 every month some time vc deactivate or by calling all me service .in spite of charging in advance by Rs 500/-
                                      each month
                                      secondly to day there is no rain and my set of box is also connected properly
                                      but my tv is sowing signal no 301 signal noyt found

                                      please cheek the realty from your record as to why this ocquer and advice me and
                                      solve the proble

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        I have a connection with VC # [protected] of DISH TV since July 2005. From the very begining there responses are unsatisfactory. If you speak some one for resolution of queries and after a short while you dial again at Toll Free # [protected] there is no record there, answer is you have not called earlier.

                                        More over they are not interested in listening one's problem instead speak of what they are told to by their Bosses hence question of resolution does not arise, even disconnect the line during ongoing conversation experienced by me on several occassions and recently it was only yesterday i.e 07.04.2009 when I was speaking with Mr. Alok. They can change your Plan at their own with out informing resulting in scrapping of few Channel.

                                        Overall there is no one to redress your complaint and Email id's of their Senior Executives is never disclosed, even of Mr. Subhash Goyal, CEO.

                                        Customer is left at the mercy of othe their Call Centre person, who never tries to understand the customer complaint one gets only stero typed replies from such persons.

                                        May I expect some concrete results against this mail as I am fed up with DISH TV.
