Dish TV purchased on April within 15 days setup box not worked (poor quality setup box) i have complaint on 19th of may complaint number[protected] they did int take any action again 21st of may i was given complaint, complaint number[protected] they are escaping day by day but our problem not solve again i was complaint strictly on 24th may they send technician on 25th may technician taken setup box & that they told that setup box giving on Tuesday but they didn't give when i call to technician he has not lifting my call.
then last i was complaint to dish TV on 28th complaint number was[protected] senior officer said that it will take 10 days time to repair setup box otherwise you take any action
that why i am giving complaint about dish TV bad service to customer take serious action on dish TV

I am facing the problem of signal not found on some channels like star plus, sony tv...after 6 p.m...I have called up my local dishtv technician but he is saying some problem with my account...so i m requesting you to pl solve my problem because i am not able to view my favourite channles in evening and night...thank u...

    I think it is alignment related problem, Might be your alignment got disturbed, So its better you can just try to align your dish manually at 96.0 degree east .

      DISH TV CHEATING Activation of my dish tv connection
      Dear All

      This is to highlight that the Dish TV is making false commitment at the time of selling device and connection and subsequently asking to pay one time Activation Charge of amount Rs. 705 to activate the connection.

      I bought a Dish tv on 27/1/2008 under a promotional scheme at Big Bazar, SAHARA MALL GURGAON at a cost of Rs 999, Dish TV VC Number - [protected] which includes Installation and Activation of the device.

      At the time of sale the representative of Dish TV sold the device with the commitment that activation could be done any time simply on paying of your monthly subscription of required package you are opting for, now i wish to get the device activated but Dish Tv Told me to pay an extra amount of Rs 705 as an activation charge. I also e mailed them the picture of box and its clearly mentioned there that you only need to pay monthly subscribtion so why Rs705/-

      I feels cheated by a company like Dish tv who sold the device first with false commitment


      Please forward my case if you have certain channel to resolve the issue. I shall be highly obliged.

        I RECHARGED MY ACCOUNT WITH RS 700/-ABOUT A FEW DAYS BACK AND I WAS TOLD THAT BY THE REPRESENTATIVE THAT A FREE AL CARTE PACK OF CNBC TV18 IS INCLUDED.NIETHER MY DISH TV ACT.IS UPDATED NOR I AM GETTING THE CNBC TV 18 CHANNEL.THE COMPANY SEEMS TO BE FRAUDULENT AND THEY ARE CHEATING THE POOR PEOPLE OF INDIA.THERE IS NO CHECK ON THEM BY THE GOVT.OF INDIA.

          I have been a costomar of Dish tv service for the last 4 years. Since then the company has been changing it's plans and policies just to squeese suscribers. On 09/04/09 I have recharged with a coupon of Rs. 200 and I have recieved the message that the validity period ends on 21/05/09. But yesterday (23/04/09) they have disconnected all my favorite channels. I know why they do it. They know that people are ready to pay to restore the channels. If I don't get the disconnected channels till the promised date. I 'll take further acctions such as discouraging my frinds and others to to opt for some better companies.

            Check if your set top box is properly connected with the dish antenna.If the problem Persists call [protected].

            Its a problem im facing everytime i recharge.It was is the warranty period that your engineer comes and make it ok but for few days only.
            Now it is not in the warranty period and if i ask your people to come to see it i will be charged a lot for the same.

            Pls take care of the same considering my past complaints its more than 20 times.

            If the problem persists i will throw the set top box out & will take somebody's service and sue your company at the consumer court as i myself is a lawyer by profession.

            About your customer care its been 15-20 mins everytime i dial to get to your customer care representative and im charged for STD call for the call each time i call you.

            Im harrased from your services.

            Waiting for your call at the earliest.

                I'm a customer of DISH TV; my VC no. [protected];
                I'm requesting to dealer/ DISH customer care - regarding problem being faced suddenly by me about non-receipt of Signals (Set Top Box- Antenna)

                Immediately, everyone trying to bring me to spend money of Rs.150.00 for mechanic ( whose work don't have any guarantee period).

                I tried to explain that, being your so many customers, it should be mandatory to keep the service free
                (as being followed by Cable opeartors). No One is ready to listen; Alternately, they advised me to go to the Cable TV operator.

                How amaging India is Progressing!! One side, Mr. Shahrukh khan tiredlessly trying to campaign for DISH TV. But, he don't feel the grassroot problems. Alternately, he is campaigning / will again campaign for Annual Maintenance Contract ( he is interested in his part only- being a National Hero also).

                It is to be understood by DISH TV Owner, Mr. Subhas Chandra that, they are getting regular advance renewal from customers, for which, it should be responsibility of DISH TV to look, whether customers of them are getting satisfied of the uninterrupted service. If

                Yes, it may be the option, if there is any harware got damaged, it may be chargeable. But to depute mechanic immediately, i feel, it should be M/s DISH TV's responsiblity.

                I request DISH TV for necessary advice to concerned dealer ( M/s Metro Vision- D.P.Road, Opp. Medipoint Hospital, Aundh, Pune- Mobile No. [protected] / [protected]), so that, I get the uninterrupted service of viewing DISH TV, for which, i ( everybody) already paid in advance.

                I am facing similar problem. My VC No is[protected]. The local Dish TV rep M/s Metro Vision- D.P.Road, Opp. Medipoint Hospital, Aundh, Pune is not willing to take Annual maint at the rate stipulated by Dish TV. He wants Rs 1000/- for AMC or Rs 150/- per visit of mechanics.

                If Dish TV is unable to provide satisfactory service through its dealers, it would be a wiser dicision to shift to other operators.

                  At present dishtv have almost max number of regional channels on their platform and also have almost max bhojpuri channels on their platform, currently dishtv is showing Mahuaa tv and Hamaar tv as bhojpuri channels on their platform.
                  Dish tv ka bihar me koi bhi dealer hai ya nahi. koi bhi service centre hai yaa nahi.
                  maine 10 mahine pahele dish lagawa hai, tab se 3 bar mera dish kam karna band kar diya maine complent kiya. tab aa kar kahata hai ki aap ka dish ghum gaya hai. paise dene hogen tab thik hoga. yeh 3 bar ho chuka hai, aur abhi phir mera dish kam nahi kar raha hai. to kaya mai subskription ke alawa har mahine dish thik karne ka bhi paisa deta rahu.

                    Well the service provider is on their right way, v've to provide the MMT #, no matter v recived it as a gift, bought second-hand or last but not least "Stolen"..

                      DISH TV A UNPROFESSIONAL DAY LIGHT CHEATERS USING CELEBRITY TO CONVEY WORD “SANTTUST”

                      I recharged Rs.700 thru ONLINE and wanted to recharge my account with RECHARGE FREE DIAMOND PACK Offer, without even my notice the package has been downgraded to GOLD PACK, we never asked for any DOWN GRADE of the Package but still it was done by their own, I have been continuously trying to call the Customer Care and am not able to get thru the Line even once, I have spent lot of STD Calls and every time we call the connectivity doesn’t get thru beyond asking us to enter our VC No. or MOBILE No., DISH TV IVR system is a biggest foolish system and is not customer friendly, they have purposely made it in such a way that nobody can call them to complain about their unprofessionalism, they are just taking customers for a ride without supporting them with their problems, their website also a third class design and most of the pages do not work, and every month when customer visits to check the account or recharge the account the Package details will be kept in such a confusing pattern so that customer does a wrong recharge purposely, the contact us page does not take any complaint as the page gets expired once you try to fill up the compliant form, they have not provided any EMAIL ADDRESS where customers can write them their problem, and this is also purposely done as they do not have professional people to handle their customers problems,

                      My sincere suggestion is please do not get carried away by the celebrity ad using word “SANTTUST” and buy DIST TV, this is the worst service provider one can opt for, only selling the product and confusing the consumers by various packages and grabbing their money is the biggest agenda of DISH TV.

                        I am a customer of dish tv. My VC no is [protected]; on the name of Abhishek Sharma. I recharged my account from the dealer whose mob no is [protected] ( Address is Shalimar garden, Extension 2, Just in front of SM World Mall, I don't remember the name).I asked him to recharge 2 Gold Pack ( Rs 199 each) & Ala-carte pack o[censored]TV movies and Hollywood items. Total I give him Rs500/-. According to him recharge was done on sunday10-05-09evening, server was down so transaction was not made.abut he assured me that dishtv will be activated in 24 hours. THen he said there is some technical fault and he took our set top box and placed his box but that too is not running. I called customer care yesterday 12-05 but that are not accepting neither VC no nor my mob no which is registered with dishtv. I don't know where is the problem .Kindly solve this matter as soon as possible. This kind of customer treatment is not expected from this company.Dish tv is in warranty period yet.

                        Dish TV — No Service even after renewal

                        First thing, when the renewal date approached, then the product renewal page from the website was moved or down. We could not renew it from their website. Then we tried netbanking and paid the bill via ICICI net banking. The payment was made and my account was debited. When I asked ICICI, they say Dist TV Noida account has been successfully credited.

                        Disht TV did not get the money. When we called them, we gave them all the details about the set top box. Dish TV said that they will activate the account in 2-4 hours which never happened. We called again after one day on which the service representative said 'due to technical problems we could not activate' and they would be activating it again after 2 hours. Again that did not happen.
                        Also, no one picks at the customer care number [protected] ever. This itself should be a different complaint.
                        It has been 2 weeks without the connection now. This has been a very bad experience and I would suggest all new subscribers to go to Tata Sky. The service is lot better.

                            I am the subscriber of Dish Tv for the last 1 and half year, My VCNo.
                            [protected]. On 30th April 2009 I re-charged my ("Platinum") package vide
                            Transection I.D. No. 2725187 for amounting to Rs. 1800/- . On the
                            renewal I was watching some more channels like Bindass, UTV Movies,
                            Colors, TV5 monde etc. but they are presently not playing on my TV. I
                            may be informed why these channels are withdrawn from my TV. At the
                            time of re-charge the your company representative informed you can
                            watch all these channels without failure.

                            DishTV — FEW CHANNELS HIDE WITHOUT NOTICE

                              I have reacharged through recharge coupon of Rs. 200/- and validity date shown in my account upto 15 May 2009. But you have intimated the expiry date of renewal was 08 May 2009 and now I recharged for two months from 09 May 2009
                              Yes not only on Dish tv but, else where we are not getting to view Qtv.

                                I have taken gold package from Dish TV at Rs 180 including tax. Now they have increased rate of pacakge from 180 to 190 + TAX of this package.

                                I do not want to pay more than 180. They are saying you will have to pay only 190 + Tax and if you want to downgrade your plan then you will have to pay additional 40 Rs.

                                How you can increase package rate?

                                Why you are taking changes for downgrading when customer has no fault?

                                  Just simply make the payment to dishtv as per your choice of package.

                                  Like If you want to reactivate your dishtv connection with platinum pack then just renew your connection with Rs.500 and then your connection will be activated till it has balance.

                                  You can recharge it through online with credited card. Also you can recharge it with ITZ cards, and Also directly go to any dishtv dealer and ask them to recharge your dishtv account and he will do that.

                                    Sub: A complete disregard to consumer service orientation…

                                    (Few complaint nos. for ref. # 23881132; 24028532; 24201591; 24244002 &[protected]
                                    Dear Sir,
                                    I am very pained to mention the agony faced because of casual approach taken by you in addressing my problem. I am giving below the sequence of event for your understanding:
                                    • On 4th April I started facing problem in viewing your programme (picture / sound disappeared with a message of “No Signal”). The fault gets corrected once I switch OFF & ON the STB.
                                    • But it became a frequent issue when I decided to lodge a complaint on 7th April with the call centre.
                                    • An Engg. visited on 8th April and after checking the problem, informed about problems with STB. He took the STB with him and told us that the approx. expense to fix the problem would be around Rs. 350-400 only. The name of the Engg. is Sarvesh Pandey (Cel No. [protected]) from a dealer in Laxmi Nagar, Vikas Marg.
                                    • The nightmare actually started after this as inspite of regular calls, I was not told the fate of my STB. I was given a number of Mr. Kailash (Cel No. [protected]) who is supposedly the owner of the dealership.
                                    • As calls to them yielded no results, I logged a complaint (No. 23881132 with Vivek at 10.30 PM) again on 18th April about no response from the dealer & non-return of the STB.
                                    • In response to this complaint, the STB was returned to my house on 20th April with an estimate of approx. 1600/- as cost of repair. As I was not present at house, when the STB was returned to me, I checked the STB once I was back.
                                    • To my surprise, the STB was totally “Dead” as there was no power supply also.
                                    • I called up and checked with the dealer, who said that I need to agree to pay a sum of Rs. 1600 (approx.) as repair charges of the STB. It is important to note that you are offering a complete new hardware at approx. Rs. 1500/- now.
                                    • The dealer was not willing to talk anything beyond that.
                                    • On 21st April I again I again logged a complaint (No. 24028532 with Ritesh at 11.45 PM) higher estimates (overcharging), in-ordinate delay in redressal, and waiver of rental for all days when I am unable to view the channels. I was told that somebody from Tech. services will resolve the issue, but nobody called.
                                    • After that I kept on talking to your customer care and narrating the story from scratch without any solution:
                                    o 23rd April: at 5.40 PM (Rajan): Phone got disconnected after a long wait
                                    o 24th April: 11.25 AM (Nitin): complaint no. 24201591
                                    o 25th April: 9.40 AM: complaint no. 24244002
                                    o 26th April: 8.00 PM: complaint no.[protected]given the same old no.)
                                    o 27th April: 1.15 PM (Gaurav): Line got disconnect after I narrated the story.
                                    The most astonishing part is that at each call, I was told that the grievance is showing as resolved in their record. In fact I got two SMS also today afternoon saying “your dishtv complaint no. 24201591 is resolved. We hope you are satisfied with the resolution. In case of any concern, call on [protected] with your complaint no.”
                                    I do not know what type of complaint redressal system you have!!! I would also put on record that during last summer, I experienced a similar type of issue when after chasing everybody in the system and visiting to you Noida office twice, finally I had to take the STB to your Lawrence Road office and pay approx. Rs. 1500 to get the STB repaired. I was given a different STB as replacement that time. After one year I am again asked to pay Rs. 1600 for the repairs.
                                    Now I would like to request:
                                    • Get the STB repaired asap
                                    • Provide waiver on rentals for the days (from 4th April till the date of re-installation of STB
                                    • Do not charge penalty for re-connection as my connection is due for payment now
                                    • Take up the matter with your dealer (for the sake of your own business interest, as it is said that retention of old customer is 5 times cheaper than getting a new customer)
                                    It is also important to mention that I am your customer for last 4+ years and the STB & VC Card is given to me against refundable security. Please let me know the procedure of refund also so that I can get rid of all these problems time and again (In case the present problem is not resolved).

                                      Dear Sir/Madam,

                                      I worked 1year and 6 months in ASC Enterprises Ltd, Film City, Noida and left in 2007. ASC Enterprises Ltd was later changed to Dishtv India Ltd.

                                      I applied for filled PF withdrawl form 18 and form 10c with SSN form but no response from Dishtv India Ltd. In 2008 a filled the same form and sent to HR - Manager Dishtv India Ltd, Noida but again no response.

                                      Kindly suggest what to do? I dont have PF no. also. Where should unclaimed PF amount go ?
