I booked a radio cab wt Easy cabs aroun 4.30 pn 29 Dec...fr pickup at 5.15 pm....till 5.17 pm had not received details of either can bo or drivers mob...so cald & apoke to Amol an exec who said that a msg ws alrdy sent bt was not the case as I had not received details till thn...he ws quuite curt & insisted on me taking down the details of the cab no & driver rather than messaging which I found very unprofessional...whn I contacted the driver ( Pramod ...[protected] cab no 2570) he very curtly said aapko kisse ne phone nahi kiya ...gaadi kharab hai.....hw the hell am I supsd to knw the theres a prob if I am not informed....this is the 2nd or the 3rd time that this has occured wt me....Easy Cabs very frequently send msgs to promte their services bt whn tthe time comes fr action they r lacking very mch in their services....since ths has happend so many times I need to be compensated fr loss of time ...not to mention the stress that I was put thru


Hopefully sumtng constructive wl b done in this case .by Easy Cabs i[censored] want me & my friends to use yr services in the future

I had booked a cab on nov 7 2012 for a drop to the railway station at 6 pm. At 5:47 pm, exactly 13 minutes prior to the scheduled pickup time, I received a message saying that my request cannot be accepted. It was impossible to get another cab in that short span of time. Due to this, I missed my train. When I called them up, all they said was its all computerised and they are just "sorry". I really want to file a complaint On some consumer forum because this should not go on. At least bookings made to railway stations, airports,bus stands should be made the highest priority and must not be cancelled like this at the last minute. It is a huge huge inconvenience.
I booked a cab for a pickup at 3.15pm on 3/20/2014. I received a message at 3.05pm telling the cabs are unavailable and booking is cancelled!!! I had to catch a train and we dont get any other means of commutation from the place where I stay ! I called them and they said they will send a cab immediately.. and after 10 mins I got chauffeur number. How was the cab available suddenly??! Driver was yet to start and was 10km away from the pickup point. I'd lost the hope of catching my train and started walking towards the main road, trying my luck for any other cab/auto. The cab driver's phone was not reachable and finally he arrived at the place where we were waiting at 3.35pm. For my luck the train came a little late and I just reached when the train arrived at station.
So much of tension and pressure was completely unwanted. This is horrible service .. Driving fast and rash is anyway hopeless. I'm never going to book easy cab again.

    I am extremely dissatisfied with Easycabs taxi service. I travel regularly and I pay this high to get assured service. Now if that is one thing I don't get,I am bound to be extremely mad with your system.
    I had booked a cab for today 05.30am from anand vihar to new delhi railway station. I was promised by the customer service of easycabs one day prior that I will receive the cab on time. I called at 5,5.10,5.20am the same day asking I haven't recd the details and if the cab is on time. All I got was procrastination and unclear answers yet assuring I will receive status of my cab 'SOON'. In the end at 5.30am,I was told that the cab won't come!!
    It is just not acceptable and I want a formal apology and remedy for the extreme inconvenience caused to me let alone the mental torture the company has put me through.

    i had similar experience today.i booked a cab at 'taxi india' from faridabad to sheikh sarai at 10.30pm.they called to my no and assured that their cab will come on time at the pick up spot and if i want a cancellation i hav to giv rs 100 alsoi.myself and my wife called atleast 10 times to make sure that they will come as they didnt sent us any confirmatory msg or mail, and each time dey told cab is ready and finally they even said it is on the way.me, my wife and her friend waited there for half an hr and again we called them by 11'0 clock and they told us cab is not available.it was a grt shock 4 us as we r nt aware of the place correctly.finally we arranged a cab from mega cabs and reached back home. I want to complaint about the inconvenience caused to me and my family and friends and the mental torture "taxi india' has put us through.

      Over the years I have used Easy Cabs many times and I have observed them deteriorating from a high class cab service to something totally unprofessional and pathetic. Here is the current state of the affairs
      1. The cab service is good only for airport pickup and drop. If you want to go anywhere else, they simply don't take the booking. They simply tell 'sorry we don't serve there' and hang up.
      2. The customer service agents are rude and often talk in a rustic manner without understanding the needs of the customer
      3. They can not guarantee a pickup. In fact they keep it safe by saying that the booking may be cancelled as late as just 30 mins prior to the pickup. Many times you get to know about the cancellation only when the cab does not turn up and you call them to clarify.
      4. The cab drivers don't want to go by the agency and often solicit the customer to call them directly bypassing the contact center. They don't realize this will severely tarnish the brand name on which they are making their livelihood in the first place
      5. The drivers often maintain their cabs in poor condition, don't run AC even when requested, saying it is not working and the worst of all they often keep the meter switched off telling that it is not working and you will be paying them by counting the kilometers on the odometer. So, practically there is no proof that you ever took a cab or how much you paid.
      6. Finally most cab drivers are unprofessional, hardly abide by the traffic rules, continuously chat on the mobile while driving, take long circuitous routes to jack up the kilometers disregarding customer's urgency, safety etc. etc.

      The situation is such now that even if Easy Cabs is India's largest radio taxi service, its brand image is becoming poorer. At least I can vouch for Bangalore. In effect many people including myself are switching to the old style local-agency based cab services for better reliability. Easy Cabs management should pay enough attention on quality checks and customer satisfaction (in reality not just listening to feedback or conducting surveys). They should understand, in the service sector one unsatisfied customer is not one but many because he influences the opinion of his friends, relatives, co-workers and so on. The damage is of geometric proportions.

        Hi,

        My experience today with Easy Cab is the WORST. I took the cab at Yeshwanthpura Railway station at 10:30am & asked the driver to reach Electronic city at the earliest. But driver made me roam round the Bangalore city running the cab for 1hr40mins through 50KMs & then charged me with 780 +45 (of toll tax )= 830/-. The driver was taking always the round-n-round way only.

        I did travel by other cabs between Y'pur Rly Stn & E-city and never paid more than 450/-. This is nothing but Easy Cab driver making the money from innocent passengers. On contacting the Easy Cab customer service also, I did not receive appreciable response.

        Now I will never go for Easy Cabs & will strictly advice my friends & relatives also NOT TO GO for EASY CABS.

        Easy Cabs — Cheats

        I have had so many problems with Easy cabs so I finally stopped using this completely.
        Once my mother had left the mobile in the car and the driver was so nice as to call us and tell that he found the mobile and he is handing over to Easy cabs management We thanked him but when we went to pick the mobile the management completely refused to give us saying noone handed them anything
        Another time i was picking up a foreigner and this driver drove so badly, when asked to slow down, he says he has another client to pick up and he is late

        Easy Cabs team called me informing - the driver has been issued with some warning letter. I am not sure if this action has been taken. But for sure they tried their level best to support their driver saying - driver has already discussed with you to take outer ring road approach before starting the trip.

        But I am being cheated in all 3 ways -
        a) Long route has been taken & made me travel for 51KMs instead of 25 or 26KMs only
        b) My trip took 1hr 45mins instead of 1hr
        c) I had to pay Rs850/- instead of Rs.400-450/-

        This is NOT acceptable. And also driver was always driving in his own long way/road ignoring the BDA route suggestion boards also to increase the travel distance & charges as well.
        Respected Parties the suffering customer and the brand which provides services. If India has to be a good country and we have to prove of honest business filled with integrity then I think some serious steps should be adopted to prove we are worth while. Mailing a reply doesn't solve the problem or ensure that things will be good.
        Steps:
        1. Which ever company is running or hiring out the services SHOULD & MUST OWN RESPONSIBILITY for whatever has happened (damage in any form)for the trust of any strong, wealthy, correct or incorrect customer may be a poor or even helpless person with his/her meager earnings they would have hired a service promised by a big brand name.
        2. Take a suitable action over the concerned person to ensure both for the person's satisfaction-who hired the services and for the person who was representing the brand company and did not provide the right service and more so cheated the customer. That is violation of trust. Plus it is robbing a person of his/her survival for no reason which is a definite crime.
        3. MOST IMPORTANT. The management SHOULD make it a point to cut/charge the extra amount that which is not for reaching from one hiring point to the destination point from the concerned violator (causing loss and bad name to the company) and make sure that the difference amount (of cheating) is sent through a very secured source to the customer who hired the brand vehicle not that particular cheating violator. The amount refunded should be enquirable by people who wish to trust the company brand so as to know that yes the management takes responsibility for such mistakes and never overlooks instances such as these with the only motto of making money.
        the citizens need to be able to trust such institutions. And then only can some one feel that such companies are taking the onus on themselves to create a better India without corruption. They are also the modern Mahatma Gandhi's and are in turn contributing back in building the fractured moral social fabric of the nation.

        Hope this is not to hurt or fracture anybody's sentiments BUT for the entire country to know that there are people both in the section of owners and management too who are humans and they do understand the pain and agony the mental trauma cause to someone [NO MATTER WHO - NO ONE HERE IS A CELEBRITY EXCEPT EVERY COMMON MAN] who trusted the brand that they have fielded into the socitey in the name of service to mankind. Should make every attempt WITH NO TABLE LEFT UNTURNED to restore that trust among the customers who approach your kind of service that which you have advertised and have promised to provide, from where you make the millions which is your bread and butter. Hoping that as better citizens you will assume responsibility of caring which is not only for the doctor, nurse, counselor or the air-hostess who is paid that much to do that kind of service and contribute in making a better nation of INDIA. thanks

          I booked a cab on 17th Oct'11 for a pick-up on 18th Oct'11 from Ghaziabad Rly Stn to Indirapuram. The booking was confirmed & booking id shared was: A[protected]. On 18th, I called up easy cabs to check the status at 8.00pm n was told that the booking was confirmed & I would get the details of the cab at 9.30pm i.e half an hour prior to the pick up time. I cdalled up at 9.15 and was told the same. At 9.40 when I got no details, I called up to check the status once again and was told the booking was cancelled due to non availability of cabs. I questioned why was there no cab since I had made the booking 24 hrs in advence & was told that this was a standard procedure they followed. I was stranded at the GZB Railway Station at 10.00 midnight. When I asked them to ensure a cab was there, they sent me the details of a cab that would take atleast 45 mins to reach the pick up point. Would like to reiterate the fact thet Gzb is hell for women, especially at night n easycabs should not have taken the booking if there was unavailability of cabs, This way they almost put a women passenger's safety at risk.

            I had booked a cab (EasyCabs) on 3rd September 2011 at 11.30 am to travel from Kandivali West to Ghatkopar West on the same day at 4.00pm. While on the call, i was told that i would be getting the cab and the driver details 1 hour prior to the booking time via SMS. I got a confirmation message on 3rd September at 11.45 am regarding the same saying:
            "Dear Customer, Your EasyCabs Booking ID for 03 Sep 16:00 is A[protected]. Thank you for hoosing EasyCabs".
            At around 3.30pm, i called up EasyCabs for the cab and the driver details and i was told that the SMS would be sent within 5 minutes and the booking was confirmed. Please note that the message was not sent.
            At 3.45, getting a little paranoid since I have faced a similar problem earlier I called the customer service number again and was on hold for about 5 minutes.While on hold I received another SMS saying:
            "Dear Customer, due to a technical error, we are unable to service booking no. A[protected]. Please ignore the car details sent. We deeply regret the inconvenience."

            On receiving this SMS, i again called up EasyCabs for confirmation. Twocustomer service executives hung up on me on the pretext on transferring my call to a supervisor. After wasting another half an hour I managed to speak with their Manager Ms. Varsha who stated that they were helpless and cannot allot any cabs.

            These unethical goons charge exorbitant amount of money for their service. I beleive that they should be MADE TO PAY WHEN THEY DO NOT DELIVER. Customers are asked to pay cancellation fees if they happen to cancel their booking, they should also compensate for such poor service and undependable module of doing business.

              I had booked 2 easy cabs on 17th Aug'2011 for 9:30am - 18th Aug'2011.

              I have received booking confirmation with Booking IDs - A[protected] & A[protected]. They confirmed cabs half an hour prior to booked time too with Cab Details (But given chauffeur details were not of Cab Drivers but some related people).

              At 10:15am one of the cab reached (after much follow ups) & when we called for other cab - w e got revert that Cab is at Airport right now and so they'll arrange for another cab.

              After calling to Easy Cab customer care, they said they'll share new cab details in next 5 mins and cab will reach by next 10-15mins.But we received that message around 10:40am and that cab reached at our place at 11:30am.

              On calling in between to Easy Cab CC, an executive said "As one of your cab got cancelled" which was never the case & neither informed.


              Booking was for drop @ airport and flight boarding time is 12:40am. In disgust we took another cab from Bus Stop and still not sure will be able to reach airport on time or not.

              In case we'll miss our flight, Easy Cab should be accountable for amount equivalent to re-booking new flight tickets as it was due to their so un-professional attitude and sloggy service we went through all this inconvenience.

              FYI - When you really need a cab, Easy Cab is a must avoid.

                I had booked for an Easy cab for 8.30 a.m on the 13th morning. Booking was done and confirmed Booking no. A[protected] at 4 a.m. on that day.

                Got a call at 8.03 from Pawan Easy cabs - customer service no.[protected] informing that they could not send a cab. note that thsi was a last minute information . no rain excuse as there aws only a lsight drizzle.

                At 8.15 a.m. the sms also came in as follows.

                Dear Customer, due to a technical error, we are unable to service booking no. A[protected]. Please ignore the Car details sent. We deeply regret the inconvenience

                This is defintely unaccepatable and a 2nd similar experience with Easy cabs .

                  I had booked a cab through 'Easy Cab' for 16th june 7 pm evening, in the morning. I received a message regarding my booking id 'A' . When at 7pm the cab didn't arrive i called up the company where they informed me that they had cancelled my booking due non-availability of cabs. It was really disgusting that i wasn't even given an intimation regarding the cancellation and when i called them they didn't even bother to arrange another cab neither did they had the decency to even apologise for the inconvenience. I feel that some action must be taken against the company so that they stop taking their customers for granted.

                  Easy Cabs — Cab didn't show up

                  I booked an easy cab on september 30th at 8 pm for october 1st at 5 am as i had a flight at 6 30. I specifically asked them to be there latest by 5. In the morning i waited till 5 15 and the cab didn't turn up. At that point i called a friend and requested him to drop me. On the way i called easy cabs at 5 25 and they told me the cab was delayed and it should be there in 10 minutes!

                  Was i supposed to miss my flight for them? or were they sending a chopper?

                  Either way I'm done with easy cabs. this is not he first time this is happening!
                  I booked for a cab on 13th oct 2009 @ 9.30 PM for a Pickup on 14th oct 2009 at 5.00 AM to drop at the city railway station. The Cab did'nt show up. I called the call centre at 5.15 AM and followed up with them.Even till 5.30 A.M the cab did'nt show up. I had to take an alternate mode of transpport to reach the destination. I am very much dis-satisfied with the service.
                  I would have missed the train if I had to still wait for the cab.

                  Easy Cabs — Wasn't informed that Cab is not available

                  I booked a cab for my son to be dropped to the airport at 1.30pm on 17th May.
                  I called up at 2.45pm to ask for the driver details.
                  The Customer Service Representative told me that it will be messaged to me in 10 mins.
                  I called up at 3pm and they told me that the cab was delayed for 15 mins so should be there by 3.30pm.
                  When I called at 3.15pm, they say that the cab is not available.
                  Is this what you call Customer Service?
                  Wasn't I supposed to be informed if the cab broke down or there is an issue with my booking?
                  Poor service. Definitely not recommend it to anybody. Disgusted with them.
                  My son just barely managed to board the flight.
                  All the stress and nuisance I went through because of their POOR service.
                  I HAD A HARROWING EXPERIENCE WITH EASY CABS AND NOW WE NEED TO MAKE SURE THAT THIS SERVICE EITHER STOPS CHEATING FOLKS OR SHUT THEIR OPERATION IN BANGALORE. SENT THE BELOW NOTICE TO THEM. WHOEVER INTERESTED, GET IN TOUCH WITH ME, WE WILL FIGHT THIS OUT.

                  Subject: Legal notice against the false booking and not honoring the booking commitment

                  Dear Sir,

                  1) I am Shishir Tiwari and I had booked Easy Cab for 02 July 2010 via booking ID B001830 to Bangalore City Railway Station at 5 PM. Just before 30 minutes from departure, I called up your customer care and they told me that I will be getting the sms stating the driver’s name, phone number after 10 minutes. When I didn’t get the information by 4:35 PM, I again called up the customer care and I was put on wait indefinitely and I had to cut the put. Right after that call, at 4:42 PM, I got another sms stating that the booking got canceled before o[censored]navailability of cab in my area. I again called up the customer care and then they informed me about the cancellation and also told that they can only confirm the booking 30 minutes before departure. It seemed that as if it was my mistake to trust Easy cabs.

                  2) It is evident from the above your company has indulged in unfair trade practice by not informing me that my booking is not confirmed and it may get cancelled before 30 minutes. It seems that you take the bookings and at the time of reporting, you choose the ones who can yield you better profits without even a slight consideration to the hardships, which the other customers are put to. Your terms and conditions should clearly state this fact that your booking can be cancelled before 30 minutes.

                  3) There is a deficiency in your service as you failed to inform me in advance about the cancellation and I was put into tremendous mental pressure, physical hardship because of this.

                  Hence, as per the rights given to a consumer as per the constitution of India, I call upon you to do the following things:

                  - Clearly provide for the education of customer that you try to find the cab 30 minutes before the departure time and you cancel the booking of the customer if you are unable to find a cab. The same should also come with the confirmation sms.
                  - Clearly specify your booking procedure and the order of preference you give to the customers as if you search the Internet you will find similar stories everywhere. It seems that your company deliberately employ these tactics
                  - Provide the cancellation information to the customers well in advance (more than two hours) so that they can make alternate arrangements. In my case, I was informed mere 15 minutes earlier.
                  - I was put to severe mental agony and physical harassment with my aged parents. I demand you to pay 10000/- towards the damages failing which I will be forced to put up a legal case and go to print, electronic media highlighting this issue for redressal of my complaint.

                  In spite of this legal notice, if you fail to do the above mentioned things and pay the compensation within 15 days from the receipt of the notice and perform other obligations, please note that I will not hesitate to move proper forum, courts of law for redressal of my grievance at your cost.

                    I had requested for a cab service from Coffee Board Layout, Hebbal-Kempapura to Nandini Layout on 4th Jun 2011. They sent an SMS confirming the booking with booking No. A[protected]. The call center guy said they will inform driver & cab details 30 mins prior to pick up time. When I did not get the SMS prior to 30 mins, I called up to check and the call center informed that they are trying to get a cab!.. (Then why did you confirm the booking?) At the pick up time, still there was no sign of SMS nor the cab (I have to wait for SMS and then the Cab both to arrive..even number of waiting items have increased). Then I get an SMS, after 10 mins of schdeduld pick up time, saying Due to technical error, they are not able to fulfill the request.
                    This has happened 5 times before, though I am complaining for the first time now. These kind of public utility companies should be kicked out. We need a drive against trust breachers, similar to a drive against corruption.

                      This is to inform that I was regularly taking services of Easy Cabs in Delhi and the same can be confirmed from my mobile no# [protected] in your database (though I also utilize the services of other service providers but till 5th May 2011, Easy Cab was my preferred Rental Cab Operator).



                      I never wanted to go through the ordeal again in my life which I went through on 5th may 2011. I missed my train as the Cab from Easy Cabs not reported at my residence even after 45 minutes of the scheduled time inspite of numerous calls to the Customer Care and the Cab Driver. Finally after making alternative arrangements, reached to the Railway Station only to witness, I missed my train and more importantly missed the event for which I was scheduled to present myself.



                      With this letter I wish to inform the authorities of Easy Cabs in particular and public in general that Easy Cabs can’t be trusted especially when one needs to catch the train or flight as there will be no end to the lies / false assurances which the customer care executives and cab drivers used to provide to the client.



                      Though it’s futile on my part to repeat the incidence but anyhow I think it needs to be reported in public forums, just if someone can learn the lessons from my incidence and not to trust the assurances of customer care executives and Cab drivers.



                      - I have booked Easy Cab for 5th May at 05:55 AM and the Booking ID was A[protected] allotted Car No: 0119.



                      - I called customer care at 5:30 AM to assure if the cab is on time (which normally I do) and the executive informed that Cab will reach at the scheduled time.



                      - I called the Cab driver at 5:40 AM to re-confirm, he informed that he is in Shahdra and needs 10-15 minutes to reach to my destination.



                      - Again I called the Cab driver at 5:55 AM, he asked me the directions for reaching at my origin point and confirmed that within 10-15 minutes the cab will reach i.e. atmost by 6:10 AM.



                      - I bought the same to the notice of customer care about the delay but I have been assured that the Cab will reach within 5 minutes.



                      - I am left with no option but to wait as making alternative arrangement on my part may consume considerable time and again I called Cab Driver on 6:10 AM only to be informed that he is at Gas filling station and another 15 minutes required i.e. by 6:25 AM. I again called customer care about the harm which this delay may cause to me but in turn they assured to check the status and apologized for the delay and ultimately informed me that Cab is just about to reach.



                      - Finally at 6:25 the Cab driver called me back, only to ask whether the Cab is still required by me and if so it will take atleast another 15 more minutes, i.e. by 6:40 AM !!! (from the tone of the driver it was clear that he was not willing to take the scheduled task, due to the reasons not known to me).



                      - At this moment I have realised my foolishness for believing the assurances/re-assurances of customer care executives & Cab driver and finally decided to work out alternative arrangement as the above-mentioned incidences made me belive that even at 6:40 AM there is no surety that Cab will report.



                      And atlast, I promised myself not to hire any cab from Easy Cabs under any of the circumstances whatsoever.



                      Finally, will the authorities of Easy Cabs willing to compensate for the harm they have done to me?

                      Hi,

                      I booked a radio taxi from my Residence (Pat Par Ganj) to Rly Station (Sarai Rohilla) on 5th Feb 2013 through Easy cab. The Cab didn’t turned for more than one hour I tried 2-3 time the called said that the cab is reaching and after that their phone stopped responding. It was raining cats and dogs and after waiting for the same I have to go out a search for the local taxi. After a lot of efforts one person ready for same and charged hugely for same. The bad part is that after doing so much efforts I lost my train as I got late in reaching the station. The easy Cabs should pay the Taxi charges, Train charges and compensation for mental disturbance.

                      I am regular client for easy cabs for 4-5 years. I observe service is deteriorating and charges are increasing day by day.
                      I booked a easy cab taxi for 6.00 hrs, 11th Nov 2013. Booked on 10th night. Booking ID= A[protected]. The Cab didn’t turn up. When called the driver, he was sleeping and told he had no booking. Called back easy cab again and again. They could not arrange other and finally apologized. But it was too late. Arrived station with other local vehicle. May understand our tension, early in the morning. Train was in right time so it had left.
                      The easy Cabs should pay all charges and compensation for mental disturbance.
                      In the easycab site there is no provision for complaints. Operator told that they will communicate me officially for its redressal.

                      Similar incidence happened today. Another example of bad customer service.


                      I booked easy cab for 6.30PM from MGF Metropolitan mall, Gurgaon, which, I believe, is one of the known places in gurgaon, and should not require direction, especially someone driving in and around that area.


                      To ensure we board the cab on time, we left the work in the middle of it and came outside the mall (after confirming with the driver). As you would already know, its a hassle with drivers if you late by a minute.


                      Anyway, after many follow-ups and misleading promises by the driver the cab did not turn for almost an hour.


                      If they were not able to arrange for the cab on time or there was an issue, it must have been informed on time so we could make alternative arrangement. It was like a punishment, standing out on the road outside the mall, since driver keep telling us that he was around and would reach in 2 minutes.


                      I believe it is the time & convenience that we pay these exorbitant charges for, else there is not point paying your INR22.5 / km.


                      Surprisingly, they still don't have any option of lodging a formal complaint on their website. Don't see any reason why they shouldn't have provision for taking the complaints, unless they are afraid of being flooded with such complaints.

                        Easy Cabs,

                        I booked a cab for 7.30 in the morning, 7.20 i got a call from the driver, asked for my address, i gave it and he said he will be there in 10 minutes. After ten minutes when my friend called him said he can't come because the distance from his current point and the pick up is more. I called call center again, they said they will arrange for another cab, i got a message again from them with new cab details. I called the new driver, he asked me the address i gave it and he said he will be there in 10 minutes, again when my friend called him he said he can't come quoting the same reason as earlier one and asked my friend to call the call center and use some abuse words on those call center people so that we will get a cab!!!!! I called call center and told thsi cab also not coming, they arranged another one... finally that guy came aftr making me wait for 45 minutes and nearly 10 phone calls. while half way i noticed the bill meter was covered! I asked the driver and he said usually he keeps it like that!!! i asked him to remove the cover and realized we are getting over charged!! once we reached the destination i realised that they Charged 100 rs extra for the same distance travelled in two different days. When I complained they said give 50 rs extra. When i called the call center and complained, they agreed for the same amount(I gave the reference number of previous travel). But when I gave the money to the driver he refused to take the money. I called the call center and this new person asked me to pay 50 rs extra, when I said previous person agreed for the previous bill he said, that person never said like that.. !! they keep insisting on 50 rs extra and made me wait on the call for more than half an hour before they transfer to complaint dept and mean while driver came took the exact amount from me and abused me and drove away. After thsi also the lady from the complaints insisted I should pay 50 rs extra..!! I asked her to whom should I pay it? Should I run behind the car and pay or should I go to their office and pay since the driver already took money and abused and drove away.... She hang the phone on me after i was a little vocal about the issue..

                          Easy Cabs (Phone[protected] was recommended by several friends. Yesterday we booked Easy Cabs to report at 1830 hrs to drop our guest at City Railway Station. Here's the timeline of what happened.

                          10:26 Confirmatory SMS giving booking nr as 8001275
                          18:01 SMS giving vehicle nr as 2928 and driver's phone nr as[protected] and confirmation that "your cab will reach you as scheduled."
                          18:25 Went downstairs with luggage.
                          1830 No sign of cab. Phoned driver. He said that he's in Hennur and was facing problems with the vehicle. He was "going to phone the office."
                          1832 Went upstairs to get booking nr. Phoned Easy Cabs. He put me on Hold "to verify details."
                          1840 Easy Cabs said that the driver is not picking up the phone and they don't have any spare vehicle.

                            BOYCOTT EASY CABS FOR THEIR POOR SERVICE.

                            I am Sasi Kumar R and I had booked Easy Cab for 13th February 2011 via booking ID B001403 to Bangalore Bommanahalli at 11 AM. At the time of booking your customer care executive mentioned that before 30 minutes from departure, I will be getting the sms stating the driver’s name, phone number. When I didn’t get the information by 9:30 PM, I called up the customer care and I was put on wait indefinitely and I had to cut the callt. Upon calling back at 9:42 PM, I got through the customer care and your call center executive stated that due to the non availability of the taxis that the booking got canceled and mentioned that sms was sent to me informing the cancellation but i havent recieved any such sms.

                            I have raised a complaint on 14th Feb 2011 but till now i have not heard or got a call from the easy cabs (their promise is that they will revert back with in 24 hrs)

                            So I please call upon all the customers who have been cheated like this to join together and let us boycott their service henceforth

                            Hi Team,

                            Today I was having a big trouble with your services I do not know how the cab driver treat with the customer, There was a normal dispute regarding the pick up and I was discussing in a discipline manner and after 5 min the driver started shouting and even he was abusing to me directly and was threatening me to get out the cab. The reason behind it he was not in a normal mood he was either having drink or some other kind of drug. And finally we left the cab and mark a complaint against the driver to customer care.

                            In order to resolve this issue I would suggest either you can take this Cab/Driver out from your services because it will hamper your customer services a lot.

                            This is not the first time with this cab, there are so many times this issue has been faced by the customer as per your customer care info. I can also make an FIR to Delhi Police for the same which I dont want as of now, But it can be done from my end If I dont receive the positive response from your end.

                              Dear Sir,

                              2) It is evident from the above your company has indulged in unfair trade practice by not informing me that my booking is not confirmed and it may get cancelled before 30 minutes. It seems that you take the bookings and at the time of reporting, you choose the ones who can yield you better profits without even a slight consideration to the hardships, which the other customers are put to. Your terms and conditions should clearly state this fact that your booking can be cancelled before 30 minutes.

                              3) There is a deficiency in your service as you failed to inform me in advance about the cancellation and I was put into tremendous mental pressure, physical hardship because of this.

                              Hence, as per the rights given to a consumer as per the constitution of India, I call upon you to do the following things:

                              - Clearly provide for the education of customer that you try to find the cab 30 minutes before the departure time and you cancel the booking of the customer if you are unable to find a cab. The same should also come with the confirmation sms.

                              - Clearly specify you’re booking procedure and the order of preference you give to the customers as if you search the Internet you will find similar stories everywhere. It seems that your company deliberately employs these tactics
                              - Provide the cancellation information to the customers well in advance (more than two hours) so that they can make alternate arrangements. In my case, I was informed at the time of my calling to the customer care which was at 9.30 pm.
                              - I was put to severe mental agony and physical harassment with myself. I wanted you to take not of this and kindly take necessary steps in preventing this for future customers

                              I had a booking A[protected] on 18th March at 6:30 PM (to go to Railway Station from Hoodi). I also did not get any confirmation by 6PM. I called them up @ 6:06 and EasyCabs "regretted" to inform me that my cab was cancelled. They also claimed that they had sent me an SMS regarding this. When I informed them that I had not received any such SMS, they sent that by 6:10 and said that they have no cab available hence they are canceling it.
                              1. Easycabs did not hold on to their commitment of confirming the status 30 mins before the time.
                              2. Only on my calling them did they even bother to inform me about the situation.

                              Today (19th Mar), Easycabs call me and tell that they have taken strict action against the team.

                              The point is: What about the mental agony that I suffered at that time?

                              Can anything be done about these occurances?

                                I had horrifying Experience On 9th Feb 2011 & my whole day was disturbed

                                As you are aware We (ABB) has a rate contract with you & when I told the Cheffuer about this he did not Honour the same instantly instead he said that he has check with owner ( Cab Allotted Driver) & demanded my signature on the slip I agreed for the same when I said that he was the first person asking for the signature on the bill he says We don't know what contract we have with Easy Cab but his owner will not accept it then I said if he is not the Cheuffer concerned to the cab allotted by Easy Cab he was not suppose to return charges then say's he is not bothered In the meantime I asked hold that I shall call customer feedback as usual the phone does get connected to your feedback section further I went to booking then spoke to Mr. Raghu however he could have patience in hearing me in this eventuality the Cheufer ran away without paying the change even then When I again complained to Raghu he gave the Cheffeur No. When I speak to him he says he has gone 10 kms away he will come back If agree to pay him 10kms charges further some how I could lodge the complaint I was assure They will call me back in next 24 hrs but it has been 24hrs no one called me back

                                  Date: 27th Jan. 2011, Time: 9:55AM,
                                  I was going towards the school to drop my 4 year old baby there on my Car. While on the way, Easy Cab (Hundai Accent), coming from the opposite direction with the loud music, driver driving the car very rashly, hit my car and smashed the right front and rear doors of the car. The driver did not stop and ran away from the spot. I was driving at less than 20Km/h speed and no one is supposed to drive fast in that lane as there exists a school (i.e.Children's Academy School) and a hospital (i.e. Vansh Hospital). I got severe jerk on my right shoulder and by God's grace, baby is fine as we both were wearing seat belts. In such a panicky situation, I got completely scared and anxious. I could manage to read the car no. and immediately called Police hot line no. and reported the incident. I was told to report to Samta Nagar Police Station (Kandivali East, Mum - 101). If I would have been driving fast there was a risk to the life for both o[censored]s. However, in the whole incident I was completely under a shock for sometime and we (me and my son) were crying for sometime on the road. I had to leave my car unattended on the road side, since I had to leave my baby to his school as I was not in a position to drive the car. I informed the whole incident to my husband.

                                  My husband approached Easy Cab people on their hot line no. (i.e.[protected] and could manage to get the driver details and reported the same in the police complaint.

                                  Surprisingly, Easy Cab staff (Priyanka, Abhijeet, Sandeep, Regional Office in Mumbai) refused to take the ownership of the incident. As per them, Chauffeurs are not their employees, they give their cars on rent to them. Amit highlighted the same to Indrani Ghosh (Head CRM - Easy Cabs, Head Office, New Delhi) and got the similar response from her. This clearly states that whatever their Driver does on the road or with the passengers, they will not be held responsible for this.

                                  Local police charged penalty to the driver, however, no action is taken against Easy Cabs services. They have to take ownership of all the damage that happened to me. I am still in such a severe mental set-back that I am afraid of driving car now after that incident. Today I had to suffer; tomorrow someone else would be in trouble...

                                  Hence, seeking support in the following:

                                  1. Taking this up very strictly with Easy Cabs owner
                                  2. Compensation for the whole incident/damage from Easy Cabs.

                                    I had booked an Easy cabs on 03-NOV-2010 having booking ID - B[protected] Car No:- 6542 for 6:45 p.m. from my flat at IRWO tower sec -47 gurgaon to HUDA City center metro station. I got confirmation for the same on my cell. Despite confirmed booking driver did not turn up. I called him up to know where he is? To my amazement driver told me that he has to pickup someone else. It was getting late as I had to catch Train from NDLS.

                                    So I contacted Easy Cabs customer care to know the exact status. When my every minute was crucial I was made to wait for atleast 7-10 mins just to get hold of their representative. That representative asked every detail and put me on hold saying he will give me the latest status. I was again made to wait 8-10 mins. While I was on hold I received an SMS I checked that only to find out that Easy Cabs has sent me a regret SMS. So Thanks to Easy Cabs even after 20 mins of scheduled plan I was stuck at my place. Thanks to Easy Cabs I could not catch my train.

                                    I want to sue Easy Cabs for ignorance and negligence on their part. Can someone guide me regarding the same.

                                    Easy Cabs — False Confirmation

                                    I booked an easy cab to Domestic airport at 7:30 to Miss Priya and i was told to wait for confirmation by sms or a call back in case of non availability.I called back again at 8:00 as there was no response and I was the assurance that the Cab number 6405 as well as Drivers's name Sumit Kumar would be responsible for the service and to my utter shock, he did not turn up and said he had no such order.My husband had to catch the flight .
                                    I called up Easy Cabs number 43434343 again to find out what is the matter but no response form their side.
                                    How could I lodge a complaint against the callous attitude of the Easy Cabs

                                    city cab — not providing service after confirmation

                                    I have booked a cab from secundrabad railway station to singapore township around 9.00 pm on[protected]. I recieved the message for booking confirmation (booking ID: 19188) that the cab will be available to me by 9.20. i waited there till 10.00 pm and then i called them back. after so many calls i came to know that the cab will not be available to me. this was very bad on thier part as its thier duty to call customer if the cab is not available after the booking is confirmed. It was a big problem for me as it was late and pocharam is in outskirts. please pay attention to my complaint...

                                      I booked a cab for urgent medical emergency from Gachibowli to Malkajgiri and the customer care representative confirmed me on call that the cab will pick up me at 5.15pm and he will be sending the confirmation message in 10 mins however I dint received any confirmation message after 10 mins and when I called back ...the response I got was rediculous...the other rep says that the request got cancelled due to unavailabilty of cabs..It is thier mere responsibity to inform the customer if the service is not provided...because of that I got delayed for my doctor appointement.

                                        Dear Sir,
                                        I am Pavani, an employee of an MNC in Electronics City. I have my long-term VISA interview on 9th Dec, 2010. I have my Shatabdi Express booked in this regard for 8th Dec, 2010 morning at 6:00AM. I booked a cab with Easy Cabs, Bangalore(Ph:[protected] on 7th Dec, 2010 morning for a drop at railway station at 4.45AM of 8th Dec, 2010. The operator confirmed me with the cab and in a little while I got an SMS confirming me on the same. Also, I reconfirmed with them on the cab again, in the evening of 7th on the same and I was being told that half an hour before the cab to reach my place, the driver will call me, ie., at 4:15AM. On 8th morning, I got ready to travel and was waiting for the cab driver's call. There was no call till 4:23AM. I called the customer care and told them on the same. After providing necessary details, the customer care executive is telling me that the cab cannot come as there is a technical problem and said "SORRY Madam"! I had no clue at that time, what I was facing. I literally shouted on them for their responsibility. First of all they did not call me and inform and I was waiting for the call and also he was apologising for the same. What will a Sorry give me... as I was continuously yelling on him for their irresponisble behaviour, and asked him to arrange immediately, he got back onto the call after 5 mins and tells me that he will arrange a cab that will come at 4.55AM.
                                        I did not take this cab and arranged immediately another cab in which my room mate usually travels. The whole point here is the irresponsible behaviour and actions of the Easy Cabs. Mine was a very important official trip where in I am going for my long-term VISA interview from my organisation. I want this to be taken up very seriously so that not just Easy Cabs, but no other cab service takes customers for granted. There is no trust left on Easy Cabs for me.                                         Easy Cabs, Bangalore — Cheating & Manipulating

                                        Complaint - I had booked a can to drop me to Railway Station on 29th Dec 2010, the tele agent confirmed me the booking and also sent me a SMS with booking ID - B001477, for 18:40pm pick up time. However, when I called their number @ 18:30 to check the status of the cab, and I was informed that the booking has been cancelled. I was left stranded with my family & these buggers didn't even bother to inform me about the cancellation.

                                        We should all stop using the Easy Cab Services and should drag them to court for their outrageous attitude and careless, I am looking forward for support to log a case in Consumer Court against Easy cabs for cheating against promised services, looking forward to peoples who have suffered the similar to join us...
                                        Same was experienced today 16th May - we had booked an easy cab for my husband's official trip at 5 AM, at 4:30 we got a message telling that due to technical problem, cab cannot be sent. When we called from my husband's number, no one picked but when we called from my number they picked the call and started telling Sorry and other non sense. Somehow we managed to reach airport on time but with lot of tension. We want to raise an official complaint and track this to an end. Any pointers?
