My wife booked a cab on 26th May 2014 in Hyderabad for pick up at 4pm from Banjara Hills Road No.12 for a drop to Nampally station. She was taking 2 kids and her old mother to catch a train with 6 bags. The cab did not turn up as promised at 4pm. She had to struggle getting an alternative mode to make it on time to catch the train with kids and old mother. This is the 2nd time it has happened with Easycabs. Worst cab service in India. Sridhar

    I took an easy cab from T-1 Airport to Safdarjung which is not very far and with parking charges the fare usually amounts to 340 rupees. But this time I realized that the driver took a long turn, deviated from the normal route and after a very long time asks me for directions (pretending as if he does not know the roads in Delhi. This came as a surprise to me because I had clearly mentioned Safdarjung enclave near NCC gate and he agreed to it and did not seek even a single clarification). When finally I reached my destination I asked him why he took a long cut to which he replied in a very rude manner. Why is the company even employing such drivers who dont know (or pretend to not know) where they are going, wasting energy, wasting time and harrasing customers!!!

      I'd booked a cab from Lodi-The Garden Restaurant on 02 May, 2014, to Greater Kailash-2 at 9:39 pm under the booking if A05024386. My Chauffeur's number was [protected] and the car number was 7181. The booking was made for 10:20 pm. Having received the details in a text message about the driver and the car number, I did not make any call until 10:20 to the driver (assuming he must be stuck in a jam or something). Upon calling him, the driver seemed to be intoxicated and claimed he got no booking from Easy Cabs and said, "Pagal ho gaye hai (Easy Cabs)" (They have lost it). I called the driver twice from different numbers and he reiterated the same. Without panicking, I realized that there must have been some confusion and that another booking needs to be made. I booked another cab for the same destination, from the same address at 10:29 pm. This time the said chauffeur (number-[protected], car number 6975) did not answer my call. The cab was suppose to arrive at 11pm and did not make it till 11:15pm, after which I was forced to take an auto. The cab driver did not return my call. I do not know if this complaint will be taken seriously but given my situation with Easy Cabs, I shall never be using their services again and nor will allow any member of my family or friend to contact this nincompoop farce organization for renting a car or using their cab services even if they happen to be the last cab provider in this country.

        HI! Yesterday due to the fault in the metro line I was struggling to book a Cab from Mayur Vihar Extension Metro Station to Dwarka. I tried many cab services to provide cab at the earliest possible but in vain... Then I called Easy Cabs to provide me and they promised me one... At that time I thanked my stars as they were ready to provide me with a cab within 15-20 mins... This happiness soon faded away as I received no sms from the company. I called the customer care and they sent me my details. My booking ID was B[protected]. Me and my friend kept waiting at the metro station for another 5 mins waiting for the cabdriver to call... Eventually I called him up at 7:55 pm to ask about his whereabouts... I was shocked to find out that he was catering to some other client of his. I tried calling the agency but they seemed to be taking forever to take my call. Also when they answered... they turned down the call without even listening and sent me the same confirmation msg again. I called up the chauffer again at around 8:05pm to forward my complaint as after repeatedly trying I was not able to get through any customer care representative. I was hit by another shock. Instead of helping us out the cab driver clearly denied my request and left us to deal the matter on our own with the company. This kind of laid back attitude was not expected from such a reputed cab service and that too for ladies... I had to eventually look for another cab service and the company was not even bothered. I wonder how many people suffer because of this careless attitude of theirs. This should be taken very seriously.

          I Have booked a taxi with easy cabs Bangalore from Amruthahalli to Bangalore city railway station with Booking ID: A[protected] with my journey suppose to start by early morning 5.Am to catch the train of 6.15Am. I got the driver number and car details by 4.30Am but the driver didn't call me or turn up by 5.00Am. When I called the driver he said he can't come and asked me to contact the customer care. The executive at the customer service informed me he looking to the issue and call me back in few minutes, but I didn't get any call from easy cabs. Morning with lot of difficulties a managed to get an auto rickshaw and reached the railway station by 6.10Am with my family. Easy cabs made my journey very stressful, what if I couldn't board the train on time?

            I have hired Easy Cab no 7290 from D1 terminal Delhi on 5th April at 10 pm. In the mid of the way I complained to the cab driver that meter reading is going fast. When we reached the destination Crossing Republik NH 24 Ghaziabad, the cab driver told me that he cannot provide metered/printed bill as machine is not working and he asked for Rs.1531/ as a fare.


            How can the fare for 39 kilometer journey can be Rs.1531 when the maximum per kilometer rate during night hours is example Rs.29 or Rs.30.


            I have already complained on this matter to your call center on 4th April and they told me that I will receive the automated metered bill within 24 hours over email and I am still waiting to receive it.


            Kindly take the corrective action, ASAP.

              After giving cab booking number, the cab never turned up. The customer care after repeated calling told me that the cab is not available, after the booking time was over. Preeti and reeta are the two executives who spoke to me. They never transferred the call to the complaint cell. The only reason they gave me was supervisor will call after 15 mts. I need an explanation, otherwise I will go viral and defame Easycab for sure for its poor customer service

                I have frequently been receiving unsolicited messages on my above noted mobile number from Easy Cabs for which I have neither opted for nor have I authorised Easy cabs. Kindly note that I am registered with the 'All India Do Not Disturb Registry.' In case, I register a complaint with the Registry, legal action under the I.T. Act can be initiated against the management of Easy Cabs. It is, therefore, requested that sending of messages on my mobile may be stopped forthwith. Thanking you Harish K Sharma

                  Date – 31/3/2014, Place – Bangalore. I booked easy cab over phone. 4:10 pm pick up from Yeshwantpur Railway station, drop Jayanagar 4th Block. The driver did not reach in time, never picked my call. When I called customer service around 4:20 pm they assured me that the driver will call in 5 mins. He never called or received my call. When I called customer service again around 4:30 PM they very conveniently apologized for the inconvenience and informed that due to cab unavailability the booking is cancelled. I had to wait in the station with my aged mother for around 30 mins before I made an alternate arrangement myself. Very Unreliable Service From Easy Cab.

                    Yesterday 26 march 2014, I booked a easycap through mobile at 9 p.m and booking ID is A[protected], executive said that will get the confirmation within 40 mins after your booking, but till 10.30 pm no one called or not got a message on my and at 10.35 p.m executive call me and cab is on the way snd will reach at my place i.e., Ambernath 15 mins late and later at 10.50 p.m executive called me and said there is no cap near to my destination and sorry but will cancelled my booking, such a irresponsible behaviour and that to at night time, i have to with my family to kharghar and at last moment they said booking cancelled. Request kindly take some action against this kind of customer service.

                      Dear sir/madam, During my recent visit to Delhi, I had experience to use your service. I had used it quite a few times and was very impressed with service and used it on several occasion during my stay in Delhi. On the last occasion, my experience was so pathetic that I will advise every one I know to refrain from using Easy Cab.. On 17th March, I booked a cab at about 10.30 am to take me to New Delhi Railway Station at 3 pm sharp.I had a train to catch at 4.15 pm. The booking was taken by young man by the name of Gagandeep, and he assured me that the cab will be at my place of stay in L-16 Rajouri Garrden at 3pm sharp. At about 2.45 pm, I had a SMS telling me that no cabs were available. It sent me into panic mode and when I tried to contact Easy Cab, the operator advise me that I was number 23 in the queue.I had no chance of hope in hell to talk to any one.Had I been given this information about non-availability, about a few hours earlier, I would have made some other arrangements.I am really annoyed and irritated by this experience and I have advised all my friends and relatives to stay away from Easy Cabs for good as their service cannot be guaranteed and they will let you down at last moment.I am also copying this email to licensing authorities and Transport authorities about my bad experience.                         Unfortunately booked a cab on carzonrent cab service on 23rd of feb 2014 for a 4hr/40 km package . The booking was done same day around 11 am in the morning. By 4:30 i receive a call from easyoncabs stating that carzonrent don't have cabs as of now so if i am okay with easyoncab cabs.I called back carzonrent, but they are still staying "no sir, ur booking is confirmed, amazing)" Again that guy called and finally i accepted the deal after he confirmed charges and all would be same, he confirmed me that the charges and all are same ( 800/- for the 4 hour package on carzonrent, whereas 950/- is on easyoncab for same package, this information i came to know later). After boarding the cab at 6:45 pm which was actually waiting more than 100 metres away from the boarding address given, with a intolerable driver. After coming back at round 10:15 pm, i paid the amount 800/-, he started shouting on that as he needs to have 150/- more rupees as the cab charge is 950/- for 4 hour slot. I was adamant that why should pay whereas i have booked it for 800 on carzonrent. The fight went till 11:10 pm, even calling the easyoncab call center didnt help as the driver was not listening to either customer care guys from easyoncab or carzonrent. Finally i paid the amount 950/- only after the customer care guy confirming that the amount that i am paying extra would be returned and the issue would be escalated to highest level, possibly throwing out the cab driver out of his job. But after calling the customer care next day the scene was different, they are ready to escalate the issue but no refund though no mistake of mine. I have already called 6 times till date to them and everytime someone tries to assures that i would be getting a call back but of no use. More than 100/- rupees i have already invested on calls. It just not about money any more . I could have simply given the cab driver 800/- only after assuring from customer care guy i paid that extra amount. Now they are not ready to pay me that.. . If required i definately will go to consumer forum or police station for the harrasment case. PLEASE NEVER EVER BOOK ANY CAB FROM CARZONRENT OR EASYONCAB

                          I had booked a cab for 5.00 am for New Delhi railway station from lajpat nagar. They sent me a confirmation code and all via SMS . At 4.50 am I get a message your booking has been cancelled due to non availability of cabs in your area . This is pathetic, where do they suppose you can get a replacement at 4.50 am with 10 minutes notice.

                            The driver (Dharmendra Kumar Verma) Taxi no: DL 1 RX 7036 on the way to Dwarka from Airport asked extra fare as Dwarka is near the airport. He was insisiting on getting Rs 100 extra. Agitated he drove rashly and bad mouthed!! As he asked the extra fare as soon i entered the cab, i declined and asked him to drop me there at the airport Terminal 1 itself. He instead became agitated and drove very rashly to Dwarka as in a fit of rage. He nearly dashed in an Indica on a red light as he was trying to jump it. When confronted that he should take me safely, he started behaving rudely and bad mouthing me and all the Dwarka residents who take a cab from the airport (reason being comparatively less fare). Things like "aukad" and "u should sit in an auto" were mentioned. After a 3 hour flight, this is the last thing i expect. It I had a very bad experience and was mentally harassing.

                              I called to 43 43 43 43 at 4:55 PM, and call center give the Confirmed booking on A[protected] for 7:30 PM, and ensure you will get the driver and cab details by 7:00 PM, but when I did not got the details by 7:10 PM I call back and your costumer care told I will get the cab details in few mins, I got a surprise SMS at 7:22 PM stating that "Dear Costumer, due to non-availability of the cabs in your area we cannot process your booking." With apologize. I am going to miss my Train for this reason.

                                Dear Sir/Madam, Please refer to booking no A[protected]. I had booked a cab while at Noida, on 7 Jan, 2014 for the next morning, ie., 8 Jan, '14, (6.30 am) for going from Noida, sector 25 to Ghaziabad. 1.Though the chauffeur reported in time, he was rude in behaviour and more than that, not at all conversant with the route. He told me in the begening that he did not know the route and I had to guide him. Throughout, he kept asking me the route; thank God I knew the route, otherwise it would have been disastrous in the windy morning of January. I think it will not be too much to expect from a good cab service to employ only those who know the routes they use. 2. I used the cab from Noida sector 25 to Ghaziabad railway station (booking was for another destination as there was no such choice on the website and this was told on telephone). By any stretch of imagination the distance is not 23 km (Rs 504/) which was charged. In fact the distance is 16.3 km. This I felt while I was there but could not help. This is unthinkable that a company like Easycab would keep their metres such that customers would be overcharged. Please get the issue resolved.                                   hi Team, I had booked an easy cab: on : Jan 20, 2014 for : Jan 21, 2014 at 11 30 am booking ID : A[protected] state: New Delhi travel details : mehrauli - airport Easy cabs had cancelled my booking without informing me on account of cab not being available in my area. there is not use confirming the booking if they cannot provide cab service or atleast inform me an hour ago if the booking is cancelled so I can make my own arrangements.                                     i had booked easy cab for 21.01.2014 at 5:10 am. i had a flight to take, but the cab did not arrive. when i called the easy cab help line no# they informed that the booking was cancelled. i was left baffled as i had my flight at 6:45 am. and regardless to say that i missed my flight. instead of giving me a replacement, they argued that it was my fault, and i had cancelled the cab. i missed my flight, money got wasted for hotel booking for the day. and adding harassment also.

Cahuffer Number #[protected] I booked a cab on 27th Dec, 2013 from my office in Gurgaon cyberCity to IGI Airport (T3). the meter in the cab wasn't working, and when I asked the cab driver about the same, he said he has reset the meter (of the car odometer) to track the same. The distance from my office in Cyber City to the Airport is about 13kms, as this is not the first time I have taken a cab for same route. However, when we reached the airport, the cab driver asked for 550/- for arund 19-20 kms + toll etc. When I told him that the distance can not be 20kms, he said "Okay fir 15-16 kms ke hissab se de do", as if it is a sabzi-mandi. For god sake, this is not a bargaining platform. It is supposed to be a professional service provider. I ended up paying 100-120 odd rupees more than it should have been. However what is more important is that Easy Cab surely now has a dissatisfied user. Me and my family have been using EasyCab for a while now, however, this experience has shattered my trust on your organisation.

                                        Booked a cab at 10.30 PM on 6th Jan for travel date 7th Jan 8.55 AM Pickup - Domlur Bangalore Drop - YPR railway station Bangalore No driver details received. Called up easy cabs. Then they sent mail for inconvenience and unavailability of Cabs, Called up easy cabs. Call attendant Sujitha, declined to escalate or take any complaints and spoke in a rude way that Cab is not available we won't do anything. I am going to miss my Train for this reason. Demand escalation and compensation for the same.
