I bought a Nokia 701 LCD replacement display on September 11, 2015. After receiving an item completely different from what I ordered, I raised a claim for return and refund. They asked my to send images for both the original Nokia 701 and item received, and I did. They gave me four reference numbers that images were received and request is under process.

They said they will respond in 48 hours, 72 hours, 24 hours, 5 days, 10 days.I called them to keep the communication open and continued being given such deadlines for resolution.
On October 20th, 2015, they closed my Ebay guarantee claim #1267930 on the basis of me not being contactable on that day. Since then, I called them more than 15 times to reopen the claim as I already provided them with images and got an acknowledgement that it was received BEFORE THEY CLOSED IT ON 20TH OCTOBER. I finally got to speak to supervisor in December. He gave me the seller's contact number. The seller said it has been 3 months, He does not know anything about it and will not do anything from his side UNLESS Ebay gives him a email stating that I had provided them with all they asked, and It was a proper cause. I tried calling to Supervisor but Ebay customer care gave me 3 working days to call back to me. Again, I did not receive any call, so I called after 1 week, on December 28th. After hearing that seller wants an email from Ebay, Supervisor started denying receiving any mails containing images of the product, and he said that I received system generated response but actual mail were never received by them. They are putting all blame on me that I was not contactable on October 20th. And they did not receive the images. The Supervisor is discrediting my claim based on that. I spoke to many customer care executive, they all said they can see the images I sent to them. They even gave their service request numbers: These are 4 which I actually wrote down.

These past 3 months had been truly frustrating as I have an item which I absolutely cannot make use of. I have appropriately justified reason, yet I am being denied the return and refund. Loosing faith in Ebay due to slow processing is another thing but hearing a straight lie that I did not sent any images..that is beyond loosing faith.
