Sir,

I was promised a gift (160 GB HDD) by ebay. However after repeated mails to ebay, I havent received any. As per my last conversation, ebay promised me the HDD with shipping details. However there was no word from ebay thereafter. I was preoccupied with some personal issues. When I contacted ebay again in Jan, I was informed that case has been closed, as I didnot communicate for some time.

This fraudulent on part of ebay as I was promised communication from ebay, but never received the same.
Now they have closed the case without permission.

7 days and still no response. This is inspite of written communication sent to ebay about the same.
simialr thing happend to me
I was said case was closed bcoz i didnt communicate! where as i had clearly mentioned to them in my email that i wont have acces to email for a few days an they need to call me on my mobile.
but those just closed the case, and said 'sorry' each time called them.
bow finally on chat this lady Dhanashree promised i would get a call and there was some 'miss-communication' so i need not worry.
hope they call me.
Till now no response. This is inspite of 3-4 written reminders to ebay.

    I was a seller at ebay India. I sold more than 100 items and have more than 50 positive reveiws. This one fine day ebay suspended my account without giving me any reason what so ever. Ebay has done the same to 2 of my friends also. I am looking for help so could anyone please tell me 2 things - a) how to register a RTI against the ebay asking them the reasons to explain why my account was suspended. b) Compaint against EBAY in consumer court. I dont care how much money I spend but I dont want this fraud to happen to anyone else. I am soon going to launch a website against ebay so that all o[censored]s suffered at the hands of ebay must co-odinate together.

    The person who is responsiable is sameer yadav he is a peon grade guy with a lot of attitude but somehow managed to get the position by fooling everyone. Trust me he is a no 1 in eBay India.

        I am a collage student i used to sell some of my used items via ebay.in..there were some problems with my items so i had to refund a lot of money to the buyers ,& even paid ebay their taxes and fees.There was an instruction from their side to make some payment to the buyer personally which i also did but it was of no use I has been about a month that i didnt get a peeny,they are telling will update my details in 24 hours but such 24 hours never come
        I am a son of a widow mother and we have a very hard life here

          I had been a satisfied customer of ebay from long but i guess now its turning out to be not so good. From 2 months i have been trying to make payment for item but have been recieving error "Your PaisaPay credit / debit card payment cannot be completed. Please select a different payment type" I tried multiple times with different valid card but all the same result. When contacted there strict " 9 to 5 and weekdays only" customer care they provided some immature answers atlast agreed there is some problem with ebay THANK GOD. BUT WHEN WILL IT BE SOLVED!!!

            The buyer confirmed the reception of the item. I was hoping that the money would be transfered to my account in a few days. Then few days later I got a mail from eBay stating that my account has been suspended and the money has been returned back to the buyer.

            The buyer did not send the item or the money back. I lost them both. I tried many times to contact the buyer ,all my efforts failed.

            I contacted ebay([protected]) and explained the situation to them. They just told me to contact the buyer directly to get the amount. I inquired the reason fo the suspension of my account and they were not able to give me reasons. I called, emailed the buyer, but he is not responding.

            I mailed the details and the scanned copy of the proof of delivery to incswebhelp and inrswebhelp mail ids of ebay.com and they were also unable to solve the issue. they advise me the same thing.

            I also tried the ebay.in customer care numbers. One of them was a fax number [protected]. And the other[protected] some guy picked up and spoke in hindi (I know hindi only a little bit) and asked me to call the toll free customer care number that I mensioned earlier.

              I have trusted ebay and purchased the item,when i have received the mobile its not charging on so i have returned within three days i have received the another mobile with some changes like one additional battery and stick have been changed and given for about a 1.5months it is worked fine but after that charger is not working and as well as touchscreen is not functioning i have messaged regarding this issue on 21-Dec-2010,22,23 almost twenty days from that date i have returned so for no response from your side you are requesting to contact the seller but that is attending the call but not replying properly i am about to register a compliant in consumer complaints regarding this issue that banned the concern whom ever not responding the consumer problems that have not solved more than a month

                  I purchased a Sony Cybershot WX1 Digital camera from Ebay India on 01/11/2010 with which there was a bundled gift item. I applied the gift coupon in the appropriate check box meant for that purpose while doing the transaction. But when I asked for my gift item which costs about Rs. 3000/- in the market, I was told that I did not do the transaction in ebay at all. Then I submitted all the details I had that I infact purchased the item from ebay in the form of computer screen shots. Ebay accepted that I purchased the camera but then denied my gift without any explanation. My ebay id is "sikdar75". i am sending screen shots as proofs.

                  I too suffered with same problem. I bought mobile in monsoon offer and they promised for micromax mobile costing 1700 rupees. Main product delivered by seller but EBAY didn't send me monsoon offer gift and now I am following with them and they are telling it is in process. really EBAY itself is not protecting and telling paisapay protecting customer from seller. but will protect from ebay.

                    I had purchased an item from Ebay on 25-October-2010 and paid
                    for it through PaisaPay (debit card and gift voucher).

                    The gift voucher DIWALISPL1 was for a free iBall 2GB pendrive. I had
                    received the item for which I paid, but till date I haven't received the
                    pendrive, which this gift voucher entitled me to.

                    It has been more than a month now...

                    I wrote to ebay thrice, each time I got an automated response.
                    They say that they have already dispatched the gift from our end on[protected] and following are the details.
                    Courier Name : Blazeflash
                    Waybill No :[protected]

                    On contacting Blazeflash, they tell me that this waybill number does not exist. Also, if you go on their website to track (http://www.blazeflash.net/track.aspx), it says that there is no record on their system.

                    I again contacted them regarding the same by email and over phone. One of the operators told me that they would be escalating my request and that they would get back to me, but nobody does.

                    I also made a complaint to two of their executives on the chat complain feature on their website (Ebay Session ID: 25747180 and[protected] but all they say is that they will escalate the complaint to their supervisors, but nothing happens.

                    I request you to please look into this.

                        I have purchased Marpac Pillow Speakers Relaxation item from seller i2cworld_inc3 from ebay.in which was under guarantee, the day i received it was no good as described, i wrote to seller about, he replied that he is only ordering from USA and sending to us in india, he is not responsible for any thing relating to product,
                        GEB[protected] so I raised the claim to ebay, but they do not respond since two months i email and phoned them but only replied that you case is in under process, at last I was tired and suddenly they closed my claim, i asked why did you do that, the lady replied that you have not contacted us since week so we closed, Guarantee means nothing to them, they knows that one day you will get tired and leave the follow up and they will close it, as they did with me.

                            2months and i have not received my refund as promised by ebay (i have mail proof from the seller and ebay india). I was asked to mail the scanned copies, and i DID! but still there was no refund even afetr giving a proof that amount has not been refunded!
                            so i'm taking this to the court. how long does it take to process a refund. ? even indian railways refunds in 48-72 hours. and you people are pathetic.
                            reporting a fraud, robbery against you as you've kept my money for longer than fair duration. kindly deal with it.

                            This has reached my patience limit now. I have been tolerant for over a

                            which i was supposed to get 30 days back. They gave me an Author
                            id-418518 and RRN number[protected] and asked me to check with the bank. I
                            checked with the bank and the Bank knows NOTHING!!! ebay wrote in the
                            mail they would contact the bank themselves if refund is not received.
                            So you better process the refund again! This shall be my last mail and
                            after this I'll approach the consumer court. Can you justify how does it
                            take a month to receive a transaction???? ebay says transaction was done
                            a month back on 19th SEPTEMBER. well, where is it? Refund my amount,
                            reprocess the refund! Do whatever but i want my refund in 3 days. 3
                            DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its been a month, and now I've crossed my tolerance
                            limit. Its ridiculous and you owe more than the amount for the time and
                            effort gone in calling and mailing customer care. I want my REFUND or I
                            am taking this to the court!

                            letsbuy — NO REPLY NO REFUND

                            I placed order with Letsbuy.com wrongfully without obtaining the Order No. Cheque for Rs. 2152/- was sent and the same was encashed by them on 6/09/2011. On my enquiry about non receipt of the item, I was told that no items can be delivred without order number. I asked them to refund my money. I received one mail that on the basis of my enquiry ( I sent photo copy of my bank pass book as a proof of payment made) they have received the payment which will be refunded me soon. Thereafter, no mail is attended by them in spite of a number of mails no reply is received nor any refund. I am a Senior Citizen and unable to visit their office at Gurgaon. My hard earned money is gone.

[protected] ) the same is received on 19th oct 2010. nobody contacted yet or no resposnse to my mails.

                              how can I get the replacement or get back the mony.

                                I purchased the following item from eBay "GEB[protected] New Sennheiser CX 300-II For IPOD
                                GEB[protected] New Sennheiser CX 300-II For IPOD ". The product I received was fake. When I raised a the claim for refund claim was denied from eBay saying "You have received the Product as per description".
                                eBay guarantee program is totally fraud. Details are mentioned below:


                                1. I received the item on 5th Aug and same day I replied to the seller stating that it’s a duplicate item. This is my first email to seller on 5th Aug 2010.

                                3. I replied back to the seller stating that the product is fake. But seller did not bothered to reply back after that.

                                4. I mailed eBay support.

                                I received the item. But when I checked the item then it is of very poor
                                quality. It is a fake duplicate item. Tried contacting the seller but it

                                I am not at all satisfied with the transaction since seller has cheated

                                6. I further had a series of mail with customer support but nothing was helpful. I opened a case against seller. This was also not helpful. I was simply told that it was your decision to buy the item.

                                7. I created a claim #18209 for refund. Refund request was rejected with the following reply from eBay.

                                Dear eBay ,Member

                                We would like to inform you that the claim filed by you under eBay
                                Guarantee* for Claim Number – 18209 has been denied as you have received
                                the Product as per description

                                We request you to get in touch with your seller and resolve the matter
                                amicably.

                                May I know how the product was as per description when the seller has not mentioned in the listing that the product is fake? This is cheating on seller's part and eBay's as well. Tell me what is a fake item according to you? This is how fake items are sold. All the description and pic was for a genuine item, even price mentioned was for a genuine item. And what I received was a fake item. This is fraud.

                                www.eBay.in — Sold the product through ebay, don't get payment

                                Dear sir/madam,
                                I have sold my HP Mini Laptop to the buyer shanu soni through e-bay site. They promise me that they will credit the amount into my account on producing the POD(proof of delivery) of courier. I believe on the site and couriered the product by DTDC courier. After oneday of getting the courier, the buyer changed the product and said that he got the Modem in place of HP Mini laptop. I send the scan copy of POD to the ebay site. The company is not doing justice with me. I want your shelter. Kindly save me from this loss. I send my genuine HP mini laptop to the buyer on the assurance of the customer care executive. I am at the verge on losing my laptop. Kindly help me.

                                Hi everybody, I just created an account with this [censored]in website called ebay.in and went for a bid for a prov=ogue sunglasses and i won the bid for 1560 and when i contacted them they blocked my acct for no reason and all they tell me is that for securty reasons.
                                Do not ever create an account with these . They are frauds, the sellers who auction on ebay are also scamsters.
                                Is any one looking in to this. Please hepl all the poeple who have lost their money with these MFs.

I got a fake Nokia mobile phone and when I sent it back to ebay according to guarantee, it ended up seller sending me again the same box and guess what nothing inside it.                                 I was buy an product amont RS 2800 ,and the seller send an empty parcel ....The ebuy customer care didn't help me ....

                                I placed order for a dell mini laptop on 26-6-12 with parfumcorner (a seller on ebay website) and received the product on jul 01, 2012. On my attempt to register the product on dell website, it was found that the product was sold in 2010 and its warranty was over in january 2012. It was also found that the battery supplied was one of 3-cell and not a 6-cell one. Hence the charge stays only for 3 hours and not more than 7 hours as described in the eaby website. Moreover I didn't receive the bill of the product. I contacted the seller regarding all these and he responded to do good within a short time. But after 2 weeks gone by when I DID not receive any result, I decided to raise a claim under ebay guerantee on[protected] and on 17-7-12 I was confirmed my claim ID. I was made to understand that my issue will be resolved within 7 days. But after one month gone by when I DID not receive any response from ebay I contacted the customer support on[protected] and then on 17-8-12 one mr. Mukesh called me up and said that as because the product was lying with me for over 1 month, my claim cannot be entertained. Moreover, he closed the case with a note that the issue has been resolved by the buyer with a mutual understanding with the seller, which is an absolute lie. Under the circumstance I want replacement of my product or refund of my money, if replacement is not possible.
                                I am reporting my grievances in nutshell as follows:
                                1) no bill of purchase as yet received. I have also come to know from dell website that the product was sold in uk during 2010 and its warranty is over in 2012.
                                2) the battery provided with the product is a 3-cell battery and not a 6-cell one. The battery life as claimed (more than 7 hrs.)Is far from reality -- it only lasts maximum up to 3 hrs.
                                3) the adapter plug does not fit into the socket.

                                  I bought 4 Sanyo batteries on ebay.com around 4 month back. When I got batteries , I had a doubt that this may be fake batteries as I already had original Sanyo batteries and the battery that got delivered was much different than the one I had.
                                  I called the seller regarding the same and he told that these are original only but these are directly imported hence they have different packing style.
                                  Recently, i went on a trip . I charged the batteries the day before I started the journey. I could hardly take 5-10 photos and camera got shut-off saying low batteries. I charged these batteries by original Sanyo charger.

                                  Because of these fake batteries, i could not capture nice moments of my trip.
                                  I have attached imaged of original Sanyo batteries (white) and the batteries that was delivered by this seller(Yellow).
                                  Please, take appripriate action against this seller.

                                    he gave a wrong account number, then he gave me the actual account no.
                                    [protected], and the branch location , later on the amount was agreed to Rs7700.00

                                    but till now he has failed to deliver his promise.

                                    i want convey to the reader of this COMPLAINT that please do not buy from e-bay.
                                    and particularly this person (e-bay id : "pradeepluck")who lives in nellore .
                                    if any body is from nellore , please take note of this person before doing any business.

                                    another id "kvades" is similar to this person, he was trying to sell a ACER laptop. later on he closed that selling process and vanished.

                                      I purchased a bike online from ebay , They have mentioned that all the second hand vehicles are properly inspected but after getting the bike i found it to be a useful vehicle.
                                      Moreover they have not provided me the RC book or insurance of the bike as they say it is a repossessed bike of ICICI bank.
                                      I tried to contact both ebay and ICICI for months now but to no avail.
                                      I bought the bike in chennai and it turned out to be a coimbatore registration.
                                      I tried to contact few RTO agents and also chennai RTO but everyone is saying they cant help.
                                      I can not sell this bike also as in case of any legal matters i will face the problem.
                                      I tried reaching ebay also but they are not very helpful and also they introduced me to a agent who is asking 8000 to 9000 plus additional charges to ship the bike to coimbatore and bring it back.
                                      Moreover this will not give any guarantee of getting and RC and insurance for the bike.

                                      Can someone please suggest what i can do?
