I bought Nokia E75 mobile phone on dated 17th Dec 2009 on EBAY from Trust Deal mumbai as per the received bill my cell phone is in warranty. But when i went to Nokia Service center they told me that your warranty is not applicable in india. At the time of purchased trust deal people were telling the phone come with one year national warranty and it mentioned in bill also. But now when my phone need some repair i can go nowhere because service station people are saying that the phone warranty applicable in Singapore only. I feel like being cheated. I have all ready sent mails to trust deals but have not got any satisfactory response. Is this is expected from such a reputed online shopping brand. It will be very rightful to say that EBAY and TRUST DEAL people are cheating common man.

I have purchased an iPhone from the ebay seller trust.deals. He has sent me a dead phone. It do not even start up when I have received it. I have had so many calls to the ebay customer care and everything goes in vain.

The seller in-fact started blaming me saying that I have overcharged the phone due to which it is dead. When a phone doesn't startup, it is your first step to charge the phone. Even ebay is in his support and they are blaming me on the same ground.

This seller has 100% positive feedback. He got it this way, After he sends you some product he will contact you within 2 days and lures you saying I will send you a bluetooth headset/pendrive or something else and will ask you to provide positive feedback. After you have provided your feedback, you will not be able to edit it. In my case, ebay has disabled the feedback link in all. So, I could not even provide my feedback and ebay assumes it as a positive feedback, if you don't provide any.

I have even spent 500 rupees for Akosha.com. They will just send you some emails that they have contacted eBay and eBay cannot do anything on this. Please don't waste your money on Akosha.com too and try to keep away from eBay.

      Do not rely on e-bay promotion offers. They are not despatching products. I purchased an item worth Rs.2000/-, They offered a HP 2GB pen drive. Already 8 months gone.They did not sent. The items also we are receiving from ebay are not in condition. May be they are used or duplicate. Whenever i call they say some cock&bull stories. I advise you all the members, please do not purchase on line products from ebay. They are fraud.

        I want to file online consumer court cases against eBay India.

        1) eBay India :- I have paid ( 17,798 + 24,810 + 23,199 ) = Total of 65,807 INR.

        I have E Mail proofs from eBay that i have paid for the sellers as you may know eBay sends E Mails to the buyers when they buy anything in eBay.

        But eBay is now saying they DID NOT receive my payments despite that i have sent them every proofs that i paid them using a Prepaid Debit card through Paisapay.

        I want my full money back through Cheque or Demand Draft or Money Order from eBay or if money back is not possible then i will want to receive the products which i have paid for with my hard-earned money.I run a small shop in my house ( Compu - World ) & these amounts i have paid were the orders for my customers.

        Now , if eBay doesn't provide me the products or give me my money back , that simple means i will have to pay the damages to my customers from my own pocket.And why should i do that ? I'm not that rich that i can bear a loss of nearly 66000 Rupees.I myself need money for my Transplant.

        ebay india (ebay.in) SELLERS - BEWARE !! Anytime u can get ripped off by suspension and they will holdyour monies due to u !!! SCAM !! Watch out sellers! ebay.in will rip u off all of a sudden one day.

          Dear Sir/Madam
          I was booked one MINI DELL Laptop through WWW.EBAY.IN on dated 21st May 2010 for seller WEBNHN10 and the payment of Rs. 13900 made at noida sector 50 on dated 22nd May 2010 into the seller bank (Punjab national bank,) in the name of Surender Kumar and his account no [protected]. But the consignment was not received as on dated 5th July 2010 and as per telecom with that seller i was confirm that consignment had cancelled due to some any reason and after some days i was received a ICICI bank Cheque NO 004614 of Rs 14178/- inckuding 2% intrest as per his term & condition and cheque date 10.07.2010 and the account was not activated upto 15th July 2010 and there had no balance for transfer the such amount to my ICICI bank. Finally i was present the cheque into my bank on dated 22nd of July 2010 and the cheque was bounced due to stopped the cheque by the drawer.
          Since last 25 days his mobile Number goes switch off. So i am unable to contact with him. I had send lot of mails to his email id for make payment but i am not get any reply from his end. In this matter ebay.com also not helping me, they are replying me the seller has suspended. Right now i have the following documents against the seller for make legal action:-
          1. i have his Mobile Number-[protected] ( but that is going switch off)
          2. i have his ebay email [protected]@gmail.com(but there has no reply)
          3. Original Cash deposit Slip ( which was deposited in his PNB bank at Noida) .
          4. His Cheque of Rs. 14178/-
          5. P.O confirmation & other mails where he has requested for late delivery
          6. Mail of confirmation of cash receipt.
          7. Cheque stopped advice from my ICICI bank

          So, please book the complaint and help me for refund the the amount.

          He did the same thing with me also.
          Whenever I contact him he is saying he will return the money soon.
          He send me one check of 14350/- which is also bounce back because of insufficient money in his account.

            I have purchased one mp3 player from ebay.in on 27. nov.2009

            I have returned that item since it is not working.

            I recieved mail from ebay that my paid amount(Rs.2098) will be reimbursed. I recieved email from

            Claims Adjuster
            Standard Purchase Protection Program
            eBay Trust and Safety of ebay company

            on 25.01.10.

            I am supposed to recieve the D.D. by 25.03.10 (i.e. 60days).

            I have contacted customer support through phone many times but each time that they are telling they escalated my case. But finally one customer support executive asked to send a mail to [protected]@ebay.com.

            So far I have not received any reply from them.

              E bay India — Faulty product and no service

              This has reference to a electronic product (MP4 player) bought via E bay for gift. The product was defective and I contacted the E bay as well as vendor. As requested by vendor had sent the product for repair through courier. After a week, on followup vendor said the product was couriered back which has not been received even after a year. Vendor did not provide the docket number of courier and stopped responding. And there was no action from E bay.

              E bay India — PRODUCT DAMAGED AND NO PAYMENT

                I have received a micromax mobile as gift during the EBAY notout contest.
                The bluetooth of mobile is not working. To get authorized service for mobile I require bill for the mobile.
                In this connection I had made complaint to customer care.
                I asked them to replace the defective gift or send me the bill, the reply was that it is gift and third party is looking after gifts and hence Ebay can not replace it or send bill. When I asked for contact details of the Third party the reply was it is not available.

                Every time they give standard reply that the complaint has been forwarded to higher level and will be solved in a week. but it is still not resolved even after two months of correspondence.

                It is requested to take up matter with Eba

                  I usually purchase from Ebay multiple times. On 13 Feb 2010, I had done a transaction worth Rs. 5027 via Paisapay ID [protected]. I was promised a Gift Item of a USB Thumb Drive with 4 GB. Inspite of repeated follow ups, I have till date not yet received any response/update/gift item as promised in the original deal.

                  History of follow ups :
                  1. March 1 2010 via email : Ref no GS=C39076 / KMM20506329I15977L0KM
                  Answered by Mr. Sunny stating as follows :
                  “I would like to inform you that I have already escalated the case and we have started following up the case with the marketing team. As the gift is being dispatched by the third party so we need to have the update from the marketing team.

                  I request you to allow us some time and I assure you that once we have the dispatch details i.e. Courier name and Airway bill number we will get in touch with you providing all the information.”
                  2. May 17 2010 via email : No reply received from Ebay
                  3. May 29 2010 via phone : KMM27659751I15977L0KM
                  Answered by Ms Payal (Supervisor)
                  “At the very outset, please accept our sincere apologies for the delay in resolving your query / issue and the inconvenience caused to you. I understand your frustration at not yet reaching a solution regarding the Valentine Promotion Free Gift.

                  We would need some more time to resolve the query / issue raised by you and request you to bear with us. We will revert to you in 7 working days with the update of your free gift.”

                  I am extremely disappointed by the quality of services provided by a multinational company like Ebay.

                    Ebay cheating on gift distribution.
                    Ebay is not doing fair dealing. I have purchased a Free agent external hard drive 1TB. PaisaPay ID [protected] cost : 5198 with which I supposed to get benefit of gift 8 GB pen drive. Hard drive’s cost in market was 4600 INR. Considering the gift I purchased that item.
                    In Jan I received the gift but that was faulty. I called ebay in Jan itself and they escalated case.
                    Then I called many many times to ebay and they are just extending the dates…..e.g
                    One Supervisor informed me that you will definitely receive gift till 16 Feb 2010.
                    I called on 16 Feb Supervisor informed me that you will definitely receive gift till 28 Feb 2010 and before that you will get update regarding that.
                    I called on 28 Feb Supervisor Pranay informed me that case is 1st escalated on 16 feb so it will take more 25 days. And I don’t have any update or information weather or not we will dispatch it. You can take any action whatever you can do. It doesn’t matter for ebay. If we dispatch faulty gift then also we have mentioned in our terms and condition that ebay is not responsible for that.
                    I havn’t received that gift till 8 Jun 2010. Ebay company is a cheater……
                    Don’t believe their any offers…..
                    They don’t have any value of customers as well as customer’s money.

                      I Purchased a software from Ebay India's Global Easy Buy on 28th May, 2010, for a price of Rs. 68,900.
                      I was then informed by Ebay on the 29th May that since this was a high value transaction, they would require email copies of my credit card and ID card, without which they would not be able to approve the transaction.

                      The issuing bank of the credit card already had in place a system for verification, so I felt this addiitional step that Ebay India required was unnecessary. I informed them on the 29th that I would not provide them with this additional information, and wanted the transaction to be cancelled. Also, since I have had problems with them earlier as well, I decided to close my account, and informed them that I no longer wanted to deal with them.

                      On the 30th of May, I received an email from Ebay India stating that my credit card had been approved. This was despite my declining to send the additional information which they said they REQUIRED to process the transaction, and also informing them the day before that I wanted the transaction to be cancelled. This obviously means that Ebay India does not follow ITS OWN procedures, which they claimed to me only the day before that they required for this purpose. I do not understand how they could approve the transaction in the absence of the information that they themselves said they needed.

                      Ebay India is a very unprofessional, unethical, and fraudulent company. I have informed my bank and submitted all the email proofs of the emails sent by Ebay India, so am sure that my transaction will be reversed. But I am sure that I will never be dealing with this dishonest company ever again, and would also advise anyone reading this to do the same.

                      I will suggest everyone to stay out of eBay at any cost.
                      HAHAHAHA! Can u believe it? They took ur money after all? Thats hilarious. So many good sellers have left ebay.in for other venues so ebay.in has worst choice and paisapay is a SCAM

                        i have exact same problem wth i2cworld_inc3 ..more than 40 days passed item not received. Seller has appealed my refund and ebay keeps telling me in 2-3 days i wll be refunded -- nothing has happened so far!!

                          I have ordered a Mobile and a headset from Ebay Global easybuy . After recieving the mobile i understood that it will not work in India . When i approached ebay with the same they say that they did not say that it will work in India . Then why are selling the products here . Do we grow money to trees for buying items which dont work . IWhy should i spend 13,000 on things which dont work . Do you want me to put them in my showcase ????

                          I have talked to all the operators available for the connection with this mobile but i had the same answer from everyone saying that it will not work in india.

                          Now they refuse to take the product return..... What should i do now???

                            I have ordered for purchase of item, #[protected]SCIPHONE, i9+++e, LATEST, VERSION, 32GB, DUAL, SIM, TOUCH, JAVA .from eBay.in/astelcorp,mumbai on 22.5.10.Paid the full amount of 3198/= through paisapay.I received the phone on 26.7.2010 through blue dart couriers.There is no brand name on the phone.
                            I am forced to give feedback with five stars within 24 hours for warranty to take effect.First
                            The display has been very bright
                            yesterday.Eventhough I minimised the LCD
                            brightness it was very bright. The GPRS not
                            working , Java not able to install,new transcend
                            2GB micro SD card not supported ,songs and pictures could
                            not be sent from my P.C to the memory card in the
                            sciphone and i tried many times but failed.

                            Please send back the item and apply through dispute console saying Item not as described. If seller refunds or exchanges for a genuine piece then ok, if not after 15 days apply for standard purcahse protection through ebay.
                            I did the same thing and now i EBAY has initiated refund from ASTELCORP
                            Item[protected] bought from eBay seller astelcorp 0n 21.5.2010.
                            After reporting for item not working, the item was replaced by the seller one month back.
                            The replaced item is again having display problems.
                            Reported several times to eBay customer support but for no use.
                            Already the shipping charges Rs.150/- for sending the item back to the seller not refunded.
                            Why eBay and the seller astelcorp are not responding to my complaints?
                            I am totally disappointed and unsatisfied with eBay.

                              I have ordered Nikon MH-62 Charger for EN-EL8 Rechargeable Battery. Here is detail:

                              And they have sent me faulty item and fake item. Even i have verified this product in Nikon Service center and they said this not real item and it is faulty item also. The supplier is Fantasy Mall from Maharastra.

                              So i have sent back the fake item and now they are not refunding the amount.
                              And they are telling that refund has been done but it is not reflecting in credit card statement and i asked to send the proof of refund.

                              Can you please take any action against supplier as well as ebay.

                                Hi!

                                I purchased this cell phone "Samsung Omnia i910 (Verizon-CDMA) from ebay by a seller name i2c world, I asked him will it work on Indian Network like Reliance or Tata CDMA? He said yes, you just need to go to local shop to get it unlocked and it will work. I got this phone and gone each and every corner of my city and the next big city for almost one and half months now but no one is able to help me, as everyone says it cannot be done.

                                I approached i2c World and requested them to unlock it for me or suggest me someone who can unlock it for me, and I also told them that I am ready to pay whatever charges it will be for unlocking the cell phone. I was ready to pay them and the guy who will unlock it for me. But they never responded to my emails after that.

                                So, I took help of ebay chat rep, he said shared my concern and he suggested me to opt for Refund option and I will get a call within 2 days, but didn't got any call within 5 days, so I approached again and very next day I got a call and I shared everything again to that lady. She heard everything and said, we will get back to you.

                                Then, I waited for more than a week but I didn't not got any call. So, again I chatted with ebay chat rep, he said you will get a call very soon, I have forwarded your complain. I waited for 5 more days, but no call again, so again I went for chat and this time they said, I will get a call within 2 hours. I was not happy to I asked for Supervisor (Pranay) he was very rude and tried ending the chat without resolving my issue. And said, I need to wait for 3 hrs.

                                I waited for 28 hrs, but never got any call, so I directly approached Pranay this time and he was rude again with me and I had a heated argument with him for making me go round and round, so he said I need to wait for 2 days now. I told him, give me in written or send me an email that yes, I will get a call within 2 days and also told me that I will get email about it within 1 hr. But for 3 days there was no call nor any email.

                                So, I forwarded this issue to the higher lever by email and after waiting for 3 days and letting them know that I will file complain against them in Consumer Court, today I got a call saying that they have rejected my refund. I told that guy everything again and he said that it is mentioned that Carrier is Verizon (US CDMA service provider) so it will not work in India. I told him, if that is the case, then why did the seller told me that it will work in India? And, when you too know about it, how can you allow them to sell that cell phone to Indian customers when you now it will not work here?

                                The guy had no answer. And then, I received an email saying the reason for refund rejection is: "Others."

                                Now what do I understand with "Others?" This is ridiculous... terrible customer service.

                                Here, the seller is selling item which we cannot use in India, still Ebay allowing him (i2c World) to sell it on your website (to Indian customers) which will make other customers to buy it and then suffer like me and lose their hard earned money as the seller provides totally wrong information to the customer to get a sale and once he receives your money he never responses to your emails or helps you in any way.

                                On top of it, ebay too helps those kind of people and reject our plea for refund when they should not be allowed to sell items which does not work in India/cannot be used in India.

                                This is absolute cheating and fraud done with many customers who are shopping on this site.

                                Now I would be filing a legal complain against the seller and ebay for cheating the customer and protecting the fraud instead of helping the customer, although they mention on their home page that they will protect the customers and will refund/replace if the product is not delivered or not as it was mentioned.

                                Don't know if this will help me or not, I hope other customers like me don't get into their trap and lose their hard earned money... Very unhappy customer... :(

                                Here is my story with i2c and ebay.

                                <b>The service is pathetic and frustrating.</b>

                                I bought a blackberry bold from icc and received the item after 20 days where I had to pay INR650 as octroi charges. After opening the parcel I found the unit to be refurbished and not the new unit as described.
                                The unit had a duplicate battery with a bad quality panel and signal issue.
                                I tried to contact the seller but no reply then I wrote to ebay and they said the issue will be resolved. I asked them time and again if I need to do something to get the refund, they said nothing just wait for our call. Ten days passed and no call I called them again and the same story. They gave the excuses like the claim handler left the job (so it means no coordination at ebay customer service)and i will receive the call. After continuous follow up today almost 45 days after I recieve a call from someone named SOHAIL (ebay claim adjuster) and he asked me to give them a proof that the cell is refurbished. They said that I need to go to the Redington Service Center and ask them to gimme in written that the cell is not Brand New. When I said that why didn't they tell me this before and what if they don't agree to give me in written as I didn't buy it from them and don't have warranty, (Just have the bill). Then he said that he can't refund the money and when I asked him to give me his supervisor, he placed me on hold for 5 mins came back and said that the supervisor will call back in 10 mins...its 10 hrs now and I have not received any call.
                                I am an editor with TOI and I have all the (recorded) conversation and mail with me which I am going to report. I want everyone to know the kind of service eBay is providing. THINK TWICE BEFORE BURNING YOUR HANDS.
                                eBay and I2c are both cheating on Indian customers and making money. I never expected this kind of Service from a brand name like eBay.
                                NEXT TIME BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU PURCHASE ANY ITEM FROM eBay BECAUSE IF YOUR ARE NOT LUCKY ENOUGH TO RECEIVE THE DESCRIBED ITEM YOU WILL FORFEIT YOUR MONEY>.

                                EBAY — waited more than a months, never get reply and no refund. ebay on hold the money.

                                i had opened claim case from UK ebay on 17 dec, 2010, i had waited more than a months timing util right now. and never get my result. also i sent a lot of emails to ebay and asked for my case when i get refund, ebay never get reply. ebay never update my case status. i had made a phone call to ebay. then they told me the case is on the way. and told me to fill out a request form. i did research on ebay. there are no request form..what the hell.....ebay always say they had buyer protection, but ebay is wasting my time. if ebay cannot do dispute, the i need to go paypal to dispute my case. but right now ebay on hold my case and do nothing. i cannot open the claim case on paypal, because paypal is no power to open the claim, once ebay opened. if the case is waiting more than 45days from the purchase date( purchased date 12, dec, 2010), then i cannot open dispute case on paypal. ebay doesnt want refund ....
                                also the item already removed by ebay. i cannot check it out any more..

                                on 13th may i ordered a dvi to hdmi converter from ebay which was rs.295 , but i got a different item as i prescribed , so i sent the item back and asked for refund from my paisa pay option , but the paisa pay rejected the refund ,i dont know what was the problem , before my refund rejected i contacted ebay and they told me to click the option refund after a few days , i did what they told me but i didnt get my refund , ebay told me to refund at 28th may and i did but it was rejected by paisa pay.Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
                                Ebay claim process is a fake thing, They dont do anything i guess. I have left ebay since i suffered similar issue when they closed my claim without doing anything.

                                  Ebay says it guarantee refund if the product delivered is not as advertised, if the product delivered is bad, if the buyer is not satisfied. Refund is full. Well friends I have been buying on EBAY. EBAY committments were good as long as it was operating out of Swtizerland. Since it's shifting to Mumbai EBAY.IN is the biggest cheat. THEY DO NOT REFUND YOUR MONEY. IF YOU FIGHT THEY TRY TO OFFER YOU WITH HUGE DEDUCTION AND ASK YOU TO RETURN GOODS ON YOUR EXPENSE.
                                  EBAY has now vendors who supply spurious goods, who are unreliable, who are goons and talk un parliamentary language. HENCE STOP SHOPPING ON EBAY.IN IF YOU WANT TO GET VALUE FOR YOUR MONEY. After years of shopping recently I have been cheated for just RS360. It is not the value of money but it a matter of business ethics and principle. Today EBAY is cheating for 360, tomorrow they may cheat you for 3600 and tomorrow more.                                   Yes, I totally agree with you as I too have gone through same thing. I too was happy until it was not shifted to India as they were providing great customer support and everything was going fine... But now, they had kept me waited for almost 2 months now and then they give the reason for refund rejection is "Others"

                                  What will one understand with this? They are helping those sellers who are ripping the status of Ebay, but don't value those people (Customers) coz of whom they are into this business.

                                  If this go one, I am afraid that one day this site will be banned and no one will buy anything from them.

                                  Sorry to say all this, but very disappointed customer... :(

                                    eBay customer care told me 3 times on phone that it was seller's responsibility to pay for courier-back charges as the seller gave me defective item.
                                    ebay told me to wait for 10 days for seller to replace the item by paying for the courier(home pickup service) from his own pocket as it wsa his fault.
                                    Then after 10 days when I asked ebay for refund-claim process they said that I have to mutually talk to seller and decide who will pay shipping charge. .. case cancelled , no refund, money is blocked since month, arguing with ebay and seller every day wasting lot of time.

                                      I bought an Air Sofa for close to 4000 Rs through ebay.in recently. The piece arrived late and came as a completely unusable/defective piece. I reported the problem to the seller and ebay immediately but neither of them agreed for a replacement/refund and moreover my negative feedback on the seller was also removed from the system. Now, all I have is a defective/unusable sofa for which I spent Rs. 4000. Very unfair and biased treatment by ebay, probably because the seller is bringing more business to them.

                                        I purchased through eBay India Blackberry Curve 8100 New from the seller called AGM Mobiles- Newdelhi. I paid through Paisapay. I received the handset with the description not at all matching with the product. When it was started it showed T- Mobile and took long time to come to the main menu. All the total menus opened up very very slowly upon clicking them. The main drawback was the camera which was described as 2 megapixel, but it was so worst that the image was total blare and also it was emitting the image total Black and White. I had written mail both to the seller AGM Mobiles and eBay for the refund of amount, which is still not met out. I had send the handset back to the seller upon advice from eBay and the seller

                                        I talked with the customer care staff through online chat in eBay but they said they have not received any mail from the seller and now the seller is telling he will refund the amount in a week's time.

                                        Why this delay when the payment has been done properly and for refund it would take one week when I have already sent the faulty handset to the seller??

                                        I need the refund of the same from eBay at the earliest.
