I purchased a shirt from eBay n ididnt got it as per my requirments so i called them n after so many days finally the seller was ready to take his shirt, i couriered his shirt back to addresss, finally after this eBay claimed that they will refund my money for sure now through dd, from past 1 month they are manipulating me by saying u will get ur dd in few days. 1 month over no new updates came regarding the refund of my money again they postponed the date till may 12 or 13 really this was a very bad experience for me shopping with this website,

    I have ordered a memory card (samsung) with an advance payment but the company delivered a fake one and it is neither replacing it with a genuine one nor ready to refund money. I contacted them and told the issue but advising me to visit the service centre of the company the product belongs to them. When I told them they remove the seller from their website.

        eBay first refund my order 2 times and then I had a word with customer care 2 times and no coupon code generated and call Centre gave me old code stating that this is new code making fool of member?!? I demand compensation for same extra 100 rupees add to the coupon value otherwise I will socialise this on Facebook and Twitter for same...

          On 14 April 2017, I purchased two 256GB MicroSD cards on www.ebay.in at a total price of Rs. 5398. These were advertised as high performance cards, though unbranded, and on Ebay.in's webpage, they clearly stated that the product was covered by the Ebay Guarantee (it still says so - please see http://www.ebay.in/itm/[protected]?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%...
          As a longtime user of Ebay, I was reassured by this undertaking and though the Seller stated on the product page that there was NO product warranty whatsoever, I went ahead with the purchase. Imagine my shock and disappointment therefore to find that both cards were completely useless - they did not do what they were supposed to do - store data - and were clearly substandard. Not only that, they were capable of doing damage to one's expensive computer equipment (my Mac shut down twice when the cards were inserted). On contacting the seller, he washed his hands off the issue saying he had always maintained there was no product warranty and that I should take up the issue with Ebay. Ebay were most uncooperative, closing the complaint within days saying that the products were covered by "manufacturer's guarantee", not Ebay, despite their clearly mentioning that they were under Ebay Guarantee.
          On once again contacting the seller (decentguy2016) he told me that he had no idea what the products were like or who the "manufacturers" were, he was just a seller, claiming no product knowledge, expertise or technoligal support ability! He just picked up stuff from China traders in bulk and didn"t even know whether the products were genuine or counterfeit. He said he offered no warranties and we, as buyers, bought at our own risk.
          The concern is that eBay is actually permitting sellers - crooks, really - to function and operate on their site in this fraudulent and irresponsible manner. Not only that, they are actually actively encouraging them to prosper by refusing to take any responsibility for the damage such sellers might be doing to unsuspecting buyers not to mention their own reputation, particularly at a time when a huge, multimillion rupee merger with www.flipkart.com is apparently underway. Unless customers are protected, web companies will continue to be unscrupulous in their dealings and prop up their "valuation" with sales revenue figures however fraudulently they may have been obtained

          I am attaching the unhelpful response that I got from eBay customer help, mischievously trying to differentiate between a "manufacturer's guarantee" and an "eBay guarantee" knowing full well that (a) such a differentiation or information was NOT provided on the product page and (b) the fraudulent and duplicitous merchant that eBay allows to operate on its site ("decentguy2016"), by his own admission, purchases in bulk from Chinese wholesalers, and has no idea who the manufacturers are; more damaging, he verbally confesses, when contacted, that the products he sells could well be counterfeit because even the "branded" ones have no service backup or warranty! So, when eBay suggests I seek help from the "manufacturer" who exactly do I get in touch with? Does eBay know when the seller doesn't?

            With your complaint MI xiami Redmi Note 4 for Rs.12, 999/-, ebay have responded with applying compalint online, which we have done before approaching cusomer forum. However they have not mentioned anything about they will refund or replace the mobile. They have asked us to put feedback on their site, which we have already done earlier and they gave response that we will close our claim and we should approach manufacturer.

            As they never mentioned why they sell the dead mobile on their ebay and people has to face this problem. Consumer court should ask them to close their business by selling online any products. ebay is like old items selling as garbage.

                    The stitching comes off if pulled. This is of no use as the stitch does not hold. There is no solution/response from supplier even after complaint on apr 18 #[protected]. Ebay rejected refund claim.
                    Ebay rejection of return/refund is not valid under consumer protection act as it amounts to illegal trade practice. Whatever ebay may claim to have mentioned in fine print against normal trade practice is invalid.

                    In effect ebay have publicized ebay guarantee which effectively means "ebay guarantees that no money will be refunded" ebay guarantee is not actually a product guarantee. This is a crude joke on innocent consumers. Ebay is trying to force american stupidity on indian people.

                    This not the first time that ebay had refused the refund. Earlier ebay had supplied a product whose mrp was just rs. 18 but made me pay rs.59. As amount was small i could not take legal action.

                    As a consumer i had spent a lot of time, money and energy to procure the products for immediate use. As i could not use the products, it has caused problems for me. As though to rub salt to injuries ebay had refused to refund the money. This is not ebay guarantee. You must rename it as ebay cruelty.

                    Therefore ebay is required refund the entire money along with damages of rs.5000/= for causing mental agony and torture.

                        I have placed an order of the above item on 3-4-17 and received return email with activation code. Since my existing Kaspersky security expiring on[protected], I fed the code in advance for activation on expiry of existing Agreement. But when I opened my pc yesterday I find the new agreement is not effective since it shows that "the entered activation code has exceeded the limit of allowed activations" In fact it is not true. Since the supplier knows the activation code sent to me, possibilities are there for malpractice by the supplier.
                        I sent an email to the supplier, explaining the experience I had on activation new code. But no reply so far. I am attaching all screenshots of the subject for your verification. Please settle the matter in an amicable way to avoid further disputes.

                            I had ordered wonderchef nutriblend from ebay.
                            Ordered on 29-mar-17
                            Delivered on 6-apr-17
                            Date of incident 22-apr-17
                            After 2 weeks o[censored]sage the coupler of the blender broke even after changing the coupler it broke again after 2 days and other couple of grinder too has broken.
                            I am highly disappointed to see such bad quality of the product from such a good brand.
                            We dont use it so heavily that it is exerted.
                            We only use it once in morning and once in the evening.
                            Furthermore ebay/wonderchef doesnt give any assistance on refund or exchange of a good quality piece.
                            They should work on the development of the product that instead o[censored]sing rubber use steel for coupler.
                            Would seriously appreciate to resolve this matter.
                            I don't want to waste my money.
                            Please please please request you to help me with my problem.
                            I don't want to feel i am stuck with this product.

                              I ordered a rechargeable fan from ebay. They failed to deliver due to their problems. I claimed for refund. Up to now its been more than one month i claimed. They are not responding.

                              The item number is[protected], claim id is 2812824. They are saying we already given refund to you on 10th april bank reference number[protected]. But they didnt refund my money. I submitted my bank transaction statement also. Even though they are not reponding. At the time of payment i used payback points. Those also not given back. Really ebay is a fraud service. They are making customers fools.

                                New unit piece purchased online from ebay by paying online they have sent not working mobile. by giving them evidence of service centre of MI at Dadar brach we have sent them their letter from service centre that there is a instrument mother board problem and it is completely not working condition. However, ebay refuse to refund our money of Rs.12, 999/- nor rejected our claim mentioning we have to approach the manufacturer, as the manufacturer are not from India.

                                Kindly help of as ebay selling without checking mobile their out of order faulty mobiles of costing very high.
                                Also ebay took this Xiomi Redmi Note 4 32 GB from a seller name Ms. Lata Samdani Flat No. G2, Mangal Home Apartment, Azad Nagar Ujjain, MP Mobile:[protected].

                                Further to my message, Paisapay ID: [protected], the ebay seller Ms. Lata Samdani Flat No.[protected]@, Mangal Home Appartment, AZAD Nagar Ujjain 456001 -MP. insisting us to continuesly go to service centre that we have already went to service centre and it is beyond repair and mother board crash. Why they cannot replace the purchased online phone where I have heard all other online shopper they replace unit if faulty. Where we can leave our job and run to service centre. Our money online purchase mobile for Rs. 12, 999/- is completely gone and wasted money. Consumer court our request please help.

                                        I had purchased a mobile from Ebay.in co against paisapay id- [protected] on 13/9/2016 and found problem within 1 month o[censored]se, then I couriered them my faulty mobile as per their request, they promised me that they will pay reimburse the courier charges but after 8 months and 1000 of reminder (By calling and emailing), they did not refund my charges.
                                        Asking for your intervention to get my refund.
                                        Hope you will be taking some immediate action to solve this issue.
