Dear sir,
With the grieve experience had with ebay, made the undersigned to complaint on ebay. First the undersigned would like to introduce as i, chethan mp, placed an order for “lg 32 led tv (Model : 32lf550; item id:[protected]” dt. 30the july 2016 (Paisepayid: [protected]), with register mail id [protected]@yahoo.com and registered mobile no +9199xxxxxx01 with bangalore shipping address.
Order confirmation mail copy enclosed for ready reference.
On 31st july 2016, i got a call at around morning 10.00am from mobile no. +91 [protected] stating as order confirmation call for order processing and meanwhile he informed that i will get a msg of 4 digit code to confirm the order, which i have conveyed to him. After the call, i didn’t checked my mails.
When i checked my mails on 1st aug 2016, following mails were there.
1st mail : dt. 31.07.2016 ; 10.15am : - product shipment detail mail with courier name :dotzot and airway bill details as “[protected]”.
2nd mail : dt. 31.07.2016 ; 10.15am : - your product was delieverd!!!
3rd mail : dt. 31.07.2016 ; 10.22am : - ebay change email notice!!!
4th mail : dt. 31.07.2016 ; 10.32am : - user accout closed!!!
Above mails (From 2nd to 4th mails) surprised me and i called to ebay customer care and informed about all the above details. Customer care executive informed that nothing to worry, i have to wait for 7 days to track the order details as there was status updated on that furnished airway bill number.
Later when i tried to apply for claim, it was already closed stating as “as per our telephonic conversation on [protected] at 1/08/2016 12.01pm we are closing your claim as you have confirmed that the issue is resolved and want to close the claim hence, with your consent we are closing your claim. Thank you for shopping on ebay”
After checking the above, when i called to ebay customer care and i informed everything about the fraudulent activities happened in my ebay account, ebay executive informed that nothing to worry, my item is shipped and it will be delivered within 15th aug 2016 and if not delivered, i can claim for item not received.
So waiting till 9th aug 2016 and surprised to see that the item is delivered to “pathanapuran” which is in kerala on 8th aug 2016.
Meanwhile i came to know that my account details has been changed to name as “anumesh” with fraud email id of [protected]@gmail.com with mob no [protected]. Also i tried to call the seller who is muskaantiwari22 with mob no [protected] but this no. Was switched off. And i called to both [protected] and [protected], where were also switched off. Then i realised that he is fraud seller in ebay.
With above all the details, the undersigned is continuously following up with ebay customer care to re-open the claim for refund and every time when i communicate, ebay executive giving assurance that it will get settled within 10 days, 15 days…. They keep on escalating the issue.
Few of the service request call no as below: -
On 12th aug 2016 : 1-[protected]
On 23rd aug 2016 : 1-[protected]
On 29th aug 2016: 1-[protected]
In the month of sept : 1-[protected]; 1-[protected] & 1-[protected]
& on 12th oct 2016: 1-[protected], 1-[protected]
During these conversation, i had discussion with senior manager mr. Harpreet (Gurgaon) in a service call request no 1-[protected] (By mid of september) and he informed that it will take another 3days and he told that he will ensure that this issue will be closed and i will get a call from claim dept. But its also in vain.
But i continued keep on following up about the status and on 14th oct 2016, when i called to ebay customer care with service request call no 1-[protected], i spoke to mr. Santan (Senior mangar – gujurat) and he conveyed that still claim request was not opened and he informed that he shall require another 10 working days to take up the same with claim dept. Also he informed at the last moment that this may not close this issue with voice service dept and he guided me apply for request in ebay grievanve dept.in which the issue will be settled on faster process, if the issue was not closed by 24th sept 2016.
Today when i spoke to ebay customer care executive that still the claim is not re-opened by claim dept. And he informed that i will get a call within 48hrs. (Today’s service request call no. 1-[protected]). Also informed that the amount 14, 999rs is been hold and not given (Paid) to seller.
Meanwhile i my account has already closed (Deleted) few months back (Maybe sept-oct 2016) and when i raised he request in grievance dept, there are telling that my account is suspended and they cannot process my claim.
Based on this feedback, today again i spoke to ebay customer care (With service request call no 1-[protected]. With same guy mr. Santan and he is telling that he if grievance cannot re-open, he cannot help it more.
So, this clearly shows that ebay doesn't have hold on seller and moreover, they are holding the buyer amount with them (Ebay) and either they paid to seller nor back to the customer (Me).
But now i have lost the faith, patience & unable to think that what should i do next,!!
Request you to guide me to get back by amount of 14, 999rs as soon as possible.
